Great little coffee maker, perfect for me!!!
March 4, 2017
I love this little pot!!! I'm not an everyday coffee drinker but enjoy the occasional cup. We recently stayed in a hotel room that had this exact same model in it. I fell in love with it because I didn't have to measure water and it was so fast and easy! I came home and after researching similar models, ordered the same one from the hotel! I love that it's very small, doesn't take much space and that it doesn't hold more water than needed for one cup. I've always been a little grossed out by water sitting for days in a reservoir, not being used. Yuck. Since I'm not a daily coffee drinker, that wouldn't work for me. Also, I barely drink the whole 8 ounces, so I didn't want anything that made a larger cup or whole pot. I do, however, think my occasional coffee drinking might turn into more of a regular habit with this adorable coffee maker!UPDATE:My coffee habits haven't changed, but I use this pot daily for my morning Earl Grey tea. I drink various types of herbal tea daily, and also use it to get quick, hot water at just the right temp! Sometimes I buy the tea k-cups, sometimes I just drop in a tea bag as the water drips in. Still love it!
UPDATED REVIEW! Great for traveling
April 22, 2016
UPDATE: I've had this for 4 months now, there are still no issues and I still love it!This is a great small Keurig for traveling. Be aware that it does not have a water reservoir. Instead, you fill the back of the keurig each time you make a cup of coffee. It only brews an 8oz cup, but that is the size I like from my K-cups. I find that a 10oz brew tastes watered down, but I digress. The machine does take a few minutes to brew, as other reviewers have said. I am usually not in a big hurry so this did not bother me. I bought this Keurig because of its small size and I take it with me when I go on retreats or otherwise travel somewhere that doesn't have a coffee maker. This little guy brews fantastic coffee. My work has a gigantic Keurig (not sure of the model) that has all the bells and whistles, and I found that the Keurig K130 brews a better tasting cup of coffee. I did not experience any strange/plastic flavor, as other reviewers had complained about. Mine brewed great starting with the first cup.I am concerned about the longevity of this product, as others have stated theirs broke after a period of time. I will update my review if that happens. For now, there is no reason to rate this below 5 stars.
YEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!! Coffee. Natures miracle in a little plastic nonbiodegradable K cup :)
March 21, 2015
Awesome!!!!!!! Best Keurig I've owned. People who are Wah Wah about it don't know what they are talking about. Mine has been chugging strong. It is simple to use and makes great tasting coffee. And the PRICE!..WHAT?!. You can't beat it. I had the other Keurig single serve one that is like over $100 and it sucks. This one has a sensor to tell you if your cup is in and will stop brewing if you pull the cup out too soon. My other one would have peed coffee all over the counter and ultimately the floor. It does smell like a new car when you taken out of the box, but who doesn't love that new car smell?? :D. Just run 10 cycles with regular water and BAM! the 11th cup taste like sweet music. You can't go wrong for $60. Also, yes this is the commercial model, but why wouldn't you want the one that is made to be used and abused, that's what commercial products are made for. Come on people..DRINK UP!
Take my Money NOW and AGAIN
February 4, 2015
Let me focus on one thing here. This machine changed coffee for everyone I think. The drip brewer is just so watered down. Those days are definately over and it took me a long time to jump the K-Train but now that I'm on it, I'm on it.Drip brewer coffee was a daily, morning necessity and like bad Heroin you just get used to it and keep going to the same dealer but one day you discover either another dealer or a different drug and that's what Keurig is to all drip brewers. The first cup I tried after a lifetime of drip brewers and this "I just need one cup in the morning" cofee drinker turned into that dude from that Dangerous Grounds TV show, wherein he risks his life going into the army guarded jungles of wherever just to get a bag of prime coffee beans.Angels didn't sing but my old drip brewer felt my disappointed stares when I walked by it and it knew, its number was up. And out. Out to the recycle bin, working or not, the boot, the curb, see ya forever! Coffee has taken on a whole new place in my life and now I drink on my days off a few cups a day and I live for looking for K-Cup assortment packs here on Amazon, looking to try new brands and flavors. And I also use this for heating up Ramen noodle cups and oatmeal cups and a bunch of other cooking with hot water in the kitchen, it's so great!!! This thing is just fantastic!!! And the price is just out of this world. Buy it now, don't wait and enjoy coffee for the first time. I don't know all the specifics of this machine like other reviewers do, where they get into the cup size, the brew rate and all this technical stuff because it's not what went through my mind when I tried the coffee and it's not how I describe Keurig to friends and family. I describe it to them as I did when I got my first IPOD or IPAD or Smartphone, I said, try this and you'll never think the same again!!! So try it. And keep it clean, that I will tell you, run vinegar through it every 3 months and let it rinse out 3 times with water to get the taste out and keep it hard water free and tasting great.I've been addicted to a lot of things in my life but Keurig is finally one thing I won't go to jail for. So what's your excuse? And what are you waiting for?
SO FAR SO GOOD
October 10, 2014
I first saw this machine while on vacation. Our hotel suite had this in the kitchen, and I thought this would be perfect for me, no measuring, no clean up, and since I'm the only one who drinks coffee in our home, this little baby would be just what I needed (plus it made a really good cup of coffee). So after returning home I set out to find this very machine. At the time, I didn't realize it was a "hospitality" model and not available in your local Bed Bath and Beyond or similar type store, and ended up buying the Keurig mini plus. To me (after using this machine) it felt cheap and plasticky, so I returned it and purchased this one on Amazon. So far so good, there is no "plastic" taste like other reviewers have experienced, but then again I cleaned it thouroghly and rinsed it several times before using it, one cycle with vinegar and water. I only use bottled water and k-cups with the Keurig logo (no generics) to make my coffee, so maybe that's the difference between my experience and theirs. I also run plain water through it every few cups to keep coffee grounds from accumulating or plugging up the needle, and as I said, so far so good. I love my Keurig!
New2KeurigNloveIt!
February 16, 2013
Just received my new Keurig B130 DeskPro Brewing System today.... And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! I have already made both coffee and tea with it. Beverage comes out at the perfect temperature each time. Simple to use. Takes up little space, which is perfect if you don't have a lot of counter space like me. I ordered this brewer over the many other choices of Keurig systems because it doesn't have the water reservoir tank (I like the idea of using fresh water every time rather than water that has been sitting). Perfect for home use and my needs.I did run about 8 cycles through the system before making my first cup of coffee to avoid the "burnt plastic" taste I have read about in other reviews. I ran one of the cycles with distilled white vinegar instead of water.... This will help if you get the plastic taste. Now as far as the complaints about not being able to use a reusuable filter like the "my k-cup".... I have read the only filter that will work with this system is the newest version of the SoloFill cup. It can be found here on Amazon. I ordered one and I should receive it next week. I will let you know if it does in fact work. I would love to be able to use my own coffee with this system.Bottom line- If you are looking for a smaller cheaper alternative to the larger Keurig brewers, this will be perfect for you. Keep in mind it is a single serve brewer though and only makes 8oz cups where the other brewers have multiple cup size options.****UPDATE****Still loving this Keurig brewer.Received the Solofill reusuable kcup today and it DOES work just fine with this machine. So if your looking for a reusuable cup instead of the one time use kcups, the Solofill works just fine!

Within a year, it has begun to slowly decrease ...
August 24, 2016
Within a year, it has begun to slowly decrease the heating of the water leaving me with lukewarm water. I've used the Keurig cleaning solution and have done everything to remedy it, hasn't worked. Mind you, I've used the machine maybe in total of 100 times during the course of the past year. (Starbucks, and Keurigs are at work.)
Great little machine!!
February 23, 2016
Love the coffee maker! I wanted a Keurig for years, but we don't drink enough to justify one of the large ones (didn't want that large tank of water just sitting there). We also live in a condo and counter space is precious. This machine has a perfect footprint for small kitchens. If you are used to the large Keurig coffee machines...this one will feel like it takes forever compared to them (it does take several minutes).I don't mind the wait time, its for afternoon and weekend coffee. If you are looking for something that will quickly brew your coffee as you head out the door all in a rush in the morning, this guy is probably not your best bet. I would give it 5 stars if it brewed a bit faster, I'm not looking to match the speed of the full size models, but a little faster.
Really Like my Keurig
September 25, 2014
After using the Keurig K130/B130 Brewer at a hotel I knew this was what I've been looking for. Cannot find these small ones in the stores and this model fits perfect in my kitchen as I have limited counter space. I'm not much of a coffee drinker so the single cup brewer without all the extra bells and whistles really fit the bill for me. Plus there's no water reservoir to worry about. Ordered the Keurig Cafe Cup My K-Cup Single Reusable Coffee Filter so I could use my own coffee rather than the expensive K-Cups. At this point in time I'm very pleased with the machine. I've had no plastic taste as some have mentioned, the coffee brews to the strength that suits me and its hot. Upon the first couple of brews with my own coffee in the filter I did notice the coffee was a bit watered down so I then reduced the water from 8 oz. (fill line) to 7 oz. which is just right for my taste. If you like a strong brew use less water not more coffee grounds! I think it was the 4th & 5th brew that after the coffee poured into the cup the machine popped open and spit the filter and grounds over the counter and floor. At this point I thought I had a defective machine. Next use I made sure my filter rim was free of any coffee grounds and that it was pinched tight all around for a good seal before inserting the filter. I pressed the machine top down and gave it an extra little push downward for a snug fit and at that point I felt an extra little snap. Put water in the reservoir and proceeded with the brew. It worked perfect and continues to do so. Came to the conclusion that the two times it popped open was because the top was not latched snuggly so it released prematurally under pressure. So if you have experienced the filter or K-Cup spitting out you may want to try giving the top a little extra push when closing it. Using the filter with my own coffee grounds there is a bit of sludge in the bottom of my cup but not enough to concern me. I just don't drink it. Its the simplicity of the machine that I like and the fact that I can brew just one or two cups without any clean up other than rinsing out the filter. I also purchased the Solofill Cup K3 Chrome from WalMart as I was shopping the other day. It has a better hinge on the lid and seems better made but both filters work equally as well. If you order filters just be sure you are ordering the proper one for your particular model as they are not all compatible with certain models. I would recommend this brewer to others and stress that some problems, not all, are usually due to operator error as people tend to not read instructions.UPDATE: I purchased EZ-Cup paper filters from Bed,Bath & Beyond to insert into the My K-Cup filter & Solofill Cup K3. Just had to cut the paper lid flap off. By using the paper filters the problem with coffee sludge has been totally eliminated.
Better Construction than similiar Keurig Models.
September 3, 2014
I love this machine. It's easy to use, makes a steaming hot cup of coffee. Some reviews say that the 3 minute brew time is too long but I appreciate the extra time and power this machine offers because the coffee comes out extra hot which I prefer. The other one cup machines don't get the coffee as hot. I also like that I'm not making a huge cup of coffee. I'm not a bells and whistles kind of person so the simplicity of this machine is exactly what I wanted. It also has a sturdy construction, maybe because of it's commercial grade. Other Keurig machines I checked out at the big box stores are so cheaply made. The plastic is thin and didn't look like it would last long. I was pleasantly surprised that this particular model has a higher grade construction. Lots of power, strong hot coffee in 3 minutes. I gave it 4/5 stars because I don't like that the machine makes you put the coffee pod and water in a certain order. I can't get the water reservoir door open without putting a pod in the product first. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying.
Decent for the Price
March 14, 2014
Let me start by saying that my first Keurig was one with a water resevoir, so this is somewhat of a down grade for me. This product makes a nice hot beverage fairly quickly and is easy to use. However, the process is somewhat annoying. Instead of just taking a mug and dumping the water in you have to be fairly careful or the machine will overflow (from the inside apparently), and you'll end up with water all under your machine. Also, the space between the platform and where the water comes out is very small and does not fit most of my mugs (which are all fairly average sized mugs). This is remedied by removing the platform, but the down side is that this platform is intended to capture the overflowing water mentioned above. So basically, if you're brewing tiny little tea cups or espresso cups I'm sure it's fine. But don't expect it to hold your favorite Christmas mug.
Fast and Convenient (after I got rid of the plastic smell and taste)
June 2, 2013
I was really excited about this coffeemaker, and it did suit my coffee brewing needs. However, I would advise anyone getting these coffee makers to do their research about what brewing system features they need beforehand. Yes, it does only brew an 8 ounce cup of coffee. It does not have a water reservoir so you do have to refill it every time. It will not accommodate huge travel mugs. However, I was more than ok with this because I do not drink more than 8 ounces of coffee at a time, and I usually only drink a cup a day. The lack of a water reservoir saved me precious counter space (which I need because I have an apartment with a fairly small kitchen). My biggest complaint about this machine is the plastic smell and taste I experienced. The first cup of coffee I brewed tasted perfectly fine. The cup of tea I brewed the next day smelled and tasted horrendous. I brewed another cup of tea, thinking perhaps it was a bad K-cup (I got a sampler pack), but it tasted awful as well. I then ran water through the machine, and it smelled and tasted like plastic. By this point, my whole kitchen had a plastic smell.I read a lot of forums online, and it seemed like others were having a similar problem with this system and even with the $200 Keurig brewing systems. For this system, I believe the plastic taste and smell was caused by the plastic part that holds the K-cup in place. I soaked this part in different rinses of white vinegar, rubbing alcohol, hot water, and hot soapy water. I also ran vinegar and water through it about 20 times (1 vinegar rinse, 9 water rinses, another vinegar rinse, 9 more water rinses). After all this, the plastic smell was finally gone. This is the reason this brewing system lost a star. I should have been able to use this system straight out of the box. I really think Keurig needs to address this problem since some of the forum complaints about the plastic smell and taste date back to 2010.As for the quality of coffee, tea, etc., I think it really depends on the K-cups. I bought a sampler pack, and it is clear that some brands are far superior to others. (I'll save these specific comments for my review of the sampler pack.) My biggest complaint about the K-cups is that many of them use aspartame or sucralose. There are K-cups with natural ingredients, but you have to look for them.I do not regret buying this product, I just wish I didn't have to spend so much time "purging" it before it would work.

Adequate
September 5, 2017
The brewer is as expected. It should have included at least an instruction manual. The decals on the front are not particularly intuitive. I purchased it to take on vacation and it functioned okay.
Works for what it's designed for.
October 28, 2016
Works well for what it's designed for. I really only have 3 major complaints. One, the procedure for starting a brew must be completed exactly, without skipping a step and within a certain allotment of time. If you do not complete the procedure, the machine will turn itself off and require you to start the procedure over again. Two, the height and width of the opening for your coffee cup is really short and narrow. Three, after the cup is poured and machine appears to be off, liquid collects in the collection tray AND underneath it, which is annoying. It's probably just condensation but could also be a leak in my machine.
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!
May 18, 2016
5/23/16 - Malfunctioned slightly after the 5th use, inserted a k-cup for brewing. But after waiting for 4 minutes the machine turned off, water didn't dispense but was heated up and still contained in the reservoir. To remedy this i simpy restarted it, and it dispensed it; although it sprayed out erratically into the cup.5/27/16: Another slight malfunction (i think?) It started dispensing the beverage but it spewed it all over the inner wall where the cup rests. So i skimmed through the instructions excited to prep my new keurig machine for use, and i plug it into a multi outlet strip and bam my power goes out after the plug sparks.I'm sweating bullets now thinking i fried it, luckily i went to a free outlet in the kitchen and it powered up fine. I poured in 8 oz of water for its prep brew and another k cup afterwards.Afterwards to brew a k cup for this machine i opened the k cup brewing holder and inserted the k cup (BEWARE THE K CUP HOLDER HAS NEEDLES INSIDE IT SO WATCH YOUR FINGERS WHEN WASHING IT), when you close the k cup holder the water reservoir will pop open after snapping the k cup holder shut, pour in 8 oz of water and close the reservoir cover, the machine should flash a Place cup light if you haven't already, then the brew light shoulder shine signaling it is ready to start heating up water to brew. The only downside to this is you have to wait a minute or two when you want a drink and the reservoir is designed for one cup, Good machine for light/solo use it would seem. The only parts that detach are the drip catcher/cup stand and the k cup holder, everything else such as the water tank is integrated. I have read that this machine can use reusable k cup's.
Not designed for reusable k-cups
October 24, 2015
Well.... I usually do better research before buying, so I have no one to blame but myself. I was torn between getting the K10 Mini Plus (home model) and this one, which is for commercial use. My reason for choosing this was that I liked the design better and thought it would be more durable. It was also slightly less expensive. It works, but in comparison to the home models I have used:The water/coffee does not get as hotYou only have one size option when pouring in water**It is NOT compatible with most if not all reusable k-cupsThis last point is important to note because it's really the only way to be economical with a personal brewer like this. I have tried two different types of reusable k-cups and neither work, even ones that stated specifically that they were compatible with the K-130. The brewer will not close with the inserts and you really have no choice but to buy prefilled k-cups or reuse an old k-cup by putting aluminum foil over the top (have not tried this myself). Upon further research, I discovered (on the singleservecoffeeforums site) that many people who bought this model and contacted Keurig were told that because it is designed for use in hotels and such, they purposely made it incompatible with reusable k-cups to ensure that businesses would make monthly k-cup purchases from distributors. This makes sense to me from a business perspective, but had I known I would not have purchased this unit for home use. I will likely bring it to work for my cubicle where disposable k-cups are more convenient and where I will use far less, and I will purchase a K-10 brewer for home use. Live and learn.About the only positive I can say is that the unit is taller, so when you remove the base you can fit a tall travel mug under the dispenser, unlike the mini-plus which apparently (from Q&A) does not provide as much room. However, there is a sensor that detects if a cup is present, so if your large mug is tapered and the base can't be "seen" by the sensor, the brewer will not dispense.
K130 isn't bad, but I immediately returned it & got the K145 instead (for just $35 more)
July 11, 2015
After resisting the K-cup trend for as long as possible, I finally jumped on the bandwagon. Then came the challenge of figuring out which machine to buy! I was really on the fence - small & relatively cheap vs. water reservoir for more $$Because this is really for my soon-to-be college kid, I initially ordered the entry-level K130. Here's my take:PRO: The whole one-cup-brewing thing really is pretty sweet. Everyone in the family gets just the right drink and, since none of us are major beverage snobs, it's a great option. I also ordered a variety pack - the various coffee, cappuccino, tea, hot chocolate & hot cider cups have all been quite tasty. The K130's price tag of ~$80 isn't unreasonable. If you generally use normal-size coffee cups & just want a standard 8 oz beverage, this will meet your needs.CON: Having to add water each time gets old really quick - I have to drag the machine to the edge of the counter in order fill the reservoir without making a mess (hey, I'm kinda short!). Wider mugs don't fit, and it takes no small effort to fit taller travel cups & mugs under the spout.Long story short, it took less than a week to decide it was worth another $35 to upgrade to the K145. It's MUCH easier to use. And we've already saved more than that by cutting down on trips to the neighborhood coffee shop. We'll recoup the entire purchase cost before summer ends!
Okay for single use

This version of the Kuerig is designed for hotels. I bought this for when I travel and it is small enough that I can set it up in what ever hotel I am staying in. For that is is nice, it is durable and I wouldn't pack it in luggage if you are flying but if you are travelling by car it is great to have on the road. The reason I gave it three stars and why I would not recommend it for home or office is for whatever reason it makes weaker coffee than the Kueric I have at home (I have the B60). I have no idea why the coffee is weaker but the exact same K-cup brewed by the B130 doesn't taste the same as the one from my B60. I am by no means a coffee snob, in fact I am a two cream and 2 sugar guy and even with the cream and sugar I can taste the difference. All that being said it is still far superior to whatever horrid coffee you find in most hotel rooms so it is great to travel with but if this is something you were thinking for your kitchen or office I would spend the extra money and get a bigger version

BE VERY CAUTIOUS!
February 4, 2016
I bought this Keurig 4 months ago, and it worked fine up until a few weeks ago. It started with small stuff, where the coffee tasted burnt or off. Then the machine started smoking every time it poured the coffee (which almost set off the fire alarm to our building), and then it abruptly shut down. Doesn't do anything anymore. We tried unplugging it, I cleaned it inside and out, but the thing is dead. The best part is that I can't even exchange it, which is ridiculous because it's barely been a few months. And with the college student budget, I can't afford a new one. So BE ADVISED before you buy this! It might come back to bite you in the ass.
everything tasted like plastic Keurig K130
October 24, 2015
1 star because it arrived undamaged, and 1 star because it CAN brew --- but it was disgusting: everything i brewed had a plastic taste to it. i did about a dozen "only water" cycles but didn't help at all, the water just smelled like plastic same as the kcups would. i thought "maybe if i leave it open and let it air out for a day or two it will help", nope still the same plastic taste. even walking by it on the counter, i could smell the plastic aroma. returned it no problem. avoid this Keurig K130
Perfect for travel and "occasional" at-home coffee/tea drinkers -- PRAY it doesn't break ... it'll cost you!
July 27, 2015
First found out about this little machine whilst staying at the Rio in LV. It is great for ONE cup of coffee at a time -- not everyday use. Caesar's Entertainment's properties were charging $8 for 3 K-cups, so we decided to purchase this machine to travel with.It was used ONE time. The second time, water began coming out of the bottom right corner of the unit (near power button). We contacted the seller to return it and received this response stating that we 'could' return the product with the following fees:$15.00 to return ship; $10.00 restocking fee. And then this statement:"This total could easily exceed $28.00. If the unit is tested and deemed defective, a full refund will be issued. If the unit is tested and fully functional you will receive a partial refund less these charges. It is your choice to keep the item at this point or return it to us. If the unit comes back in like new condition there is an opportunity to reduce or eliminate the restocking fees. In many cases it is more cost effective to keep the item purchased."I will be repairing this unit myself. More than likely, something has come loose and can be easily repaired.
Didn't even last two years
May 21, 2014
Very disappointed with this B130 model. Just shy of two years, my cups of coffee started to contain significant grounds. The k-cup foil looked like it had exploded each time I brewed a cup. Even with no pod present, the machine would drip significant water through the nozzle while it was heating the water. I read that this indicated that the check valve had failed in the open position. Whatever... I have moved on to another brand and let's hope that it lasts longer than two years!!!UPDATE 5/30: I replaced my B130 with a Mr. Coffee which was about $10 more than the B130 on Amazon. The Mr. Coffee is so much more convenient. After the first brew, it sucks in more water from its 40oz reservoir and keeps it pre-heated so each subsequent cup of coffee takes about 30 seconds. Even if this Mr. Coffee only lasts 2 years (like my previous B130), it would be so much more worth it due to the speed of the brew. Big time savings!!! Serving up three cups of coffee to guests is no longer a 10+ minute affair.
ok for some, probably won't satisfy coffee connoisseurs
March 10, 2014
I like to start off my day with a hot cup of coffee. I needed a new coffee maker and I thought I would give the Keurig system a try. I can see how some folks would like how easy it is to use and clean up. There is one shortcoming that may affect some more than others, depending on your tastes. The coffee comes out just barely warm - and that's just black coffee...if you add milk or cream then it's practically ambient temperature. When you look at the K-cup system, it's fairly obvious that physics is against it - a small amount of hot water has to heat up everything inside the brewing machine, the coffee grounds, and also the cup. No effort is made on the part of Keurig to heat these components before brewing, which to me is a mistake. If all that you're after is your daily dose of caffeine and you're more concerned with easy cleanup than taste then this thing will probably work for you. However if you like to savor your coffee, this is a hard sell. When you consider that most commercial systems have a special heating plate for keeping the coffee at just the right temperature and that this brewer costs a lot more per cup than they do, it is hard to give this "coffee maker" more than two stars.PS - there is a cup detection system on this thing so that you accidentally don't turn it on without a cup. It is fairly buggy and doesn't always detect all cups. I have to put a metal spoon into mine or otherwise it won't see it.
Not a fan
December 11, 2012
I usually make coffee in a french press, but after breaking the carafe for a second time, we decided to try this system. I usually drink a travel mug of coffee on my way to work, so only half of the french press, so I was excited when this came in the mail, thinking it would be an easy quick solution for my mornings. I ordered the refillable K cup so that I wouldn't have to throw out so much trash too. I was disappointed that the well only fits 8oz of water. That is a pretty tiny mug of coffee and only 1/2 a travel coffee mug. I tried filling the other half with milk, but the coffee wasn't hot enough, so once adding milk, it would be too cold to drink. The reusable Kcup is a little difficult to fit in the coffee maker too. A few times the machine has popped open because the Kcup wasn't secure enough. When I tried adding an additional 8 oz of water and then running it through the same used coffee grinds, it came out very weak. Also, my wide mugs don't fit.I've made it work okay. I use an extra dark roast coffee, ground fine, and run it through twice in the morning (still a 8 minute process.) Also, how do you pour water in from the mug without pouring it all over the place?? I have to use a glass measuring cup, so that I don't make a huge mess. Of course the taste doesn't compare to the french press either. So if you only want a little 8oz styrofoam cup, like in an office. Then it will work fine. But if you are like me and drink a large cup a coffee every morning on the way to work... then consider spending more money and getting the nicer Kerurg. Me, I'm going to take this to work and order another french press carafe.

Keurig (the manufacturer) will not address the problem since the warranty should be handled by Happy Haus (the seller)
April 11, 2017
The machine is non-functional after 4 months of use. The water reservoir lid has snapped shut and does not open. Keurig (the manufacturer) will not address the problem since the warranty should be handled by Happy Haus (the seller), which has not even reported the serial number of the machine as a product that was sold. All my repeated attempts to make contact with this seller have taken me around and around with no answer or solution. The machine is still under warranty, but Amazon and Happy Haus only replace or repair products within 30 days of sale and completely ignore warranty issues.
I want to like it, but just can't
June 21, 2015
Do not buy.I want to like it, but just can't.I wish that I would have headed the other reviews at the time I bought this. It does brew a perfect cup of plastic flavored drink, but not so good with coffee.I was hopeful that folks were being over critical, since I've had such good experiences with Keurig to date other than this. I couldn't believe that such a quality company would produce such a thing.I bought it for light duty occasional use in an rv. It would work well for that purpose, and otherwise like it very much..... but the flavor. Ugh!I did an initial flushing, several rinses with vinegar, then rinse, then baking soda, then a lot more rinsing. It was still a bad taste but I was hopeful that time and use would help.I store it completely open so everything has a chance to air out and stay dry. Sadly, use and and time has not helped...... many cups of plastic flavored caffeinated beverage later....I think the plastic flavor has gotten stronger!
Keurig WILL NOT honor their warranty / Rust after 6 months
February 24, 2015
Keurig WILL NOT honor the warranty on this product, and they will be extremely rude about it. Mine started to rust (in the metal cup that you pour water into) 6 months after use. I tried to process a warranty claim with Keurig Commercial Division, and they hung up on me twice and kept telling me why don't i try to get the warranty work done with Kitchenista (Amazon's Fulfillment), then i was accused of stealing it from a hotel, or buying a stolen product from Amazon. Keurig Commercial Products division is unprofessional, and they will not budge, nor will they back up their warranty. Since then i have escalated the issue with the corporate office. I received a phone call back, but the issue still remains unresolved. Which poses the question, "Why are we buying an expensive product, if the manufacturer won't stand behind it??" Why not just buy one of the many other, cheaper machines, and who cares about a warranty right?***UPDATE***I sent 2 emails, and i posted a picture of the rust on Keurig's Facebook wall. The corporate office got back with me today, and they will be sending me out a Mini Plus Personal brewer instead of the commercial one (k130). The problem appears to be resolved. I even got an order confirmation for the new brewer sent to my email. (I think its also important that if you buy this brewer, that you register it on their website.) Good luck if you get any problems with this brewer; it will take some work to get it replaced.
I am so disappointed in my first Keurig buying experience
January 15, 2015
Returning. I am so disappointed in my first Keurig buying experience. The first couple uses were perfect and I fell in love with the product. BUT after about two weeks when I would insert the K-Cup and wait for the water part to pop up, it wouldn't click and stay. I would have to continuously press the kcup closed til it snapped and clicked together before i could close the water top. What pisses me off even more, this morning i was making my coffee at 415am before i had to be at work. this thing pops open in the middle of my coffee brewing, shoots the kcup across the kitchen floor and extremely HOT coffee grinds splatter all over my foot. I had to walk around with the pain from the burn all day, and remake my coffee. sucks!!
add doesn't spell everything out

I wanted the brewer cause I live alone and you can get a basket that you can fill with your own coffee and brew on cup at a time. Turns out that this model is a mini or desk top model and the refillable cup won't fit. I am returning it. It you want to use your own coffee don't buy this.
60 Days and Dead...Keurig Will Not Honor Warranty
June 20, 2012
The Keurig B130 worked for two months and then simply would not power on. I phoned Keurig's customer service line and was told that my brewer was a commercial brewer and never should not have been sold via Amazon. It made no difference that the brewer was still well within the 12 month warranty period. I told the Keurig customer service representative that the B130 was actually sold by Wholesale Kitchen Inc., doing business as Kitchenista via Amazon. When given the serial number of the B130, the customer service representative said it only tracked to a distributor in Las Vegas, Nevada, and that I would have to "handle any customer service problems with Wholesale Kitchen Inc." I am sending the brewer to Amazon returns and if necessary will handle the problem via my credit card company. If you are considering the purchase of this unit, B130 DeskPro, NO NOT purchase it via Amazon unless you are prepared to spend considerable time and frustration attempting to resolve any issues, should the brewer fail within its warranty period.Added 9:05 pm CDT, June 21, 2012: I just received the following message via Amazon's messaging system from the seller, Kitchenista:"Hi,We are sorry to hear about this but since it was shipped to you by Amazon.com you would have to deal with them directly.Unfortunately we can't do anything from our end.Take care,Kitchenista"......................................................................................................................And there you have my unsatisfactory experience with Keurig and Wholesale Kitchen Inc. dba Kitchenista.I will purchase another Keurig brewer, but locally, from a chain retailer who stands behind the products it sells. If I get another lemon, it'll go right back to the retailer...in person.
