Great upgrade! Read/Write speed a little slow in my Sony A6300
September 18, 2017
A little pricey when I got it, but it was a big step up from by 2gb and 4gb lexar cards. I use this in my Sony A6300 and it works great. There is a little bit of lag when saving after a long video, or a burst of photos that you need to keep in mind. You can keep shooting, but if you need to review the images, you need to wait for the card to finish writing. Next time I need an upgrade, I will buy one that has a faster read/write speed.
Works fine
April 14, 2017
I bought this as extra memory to hold my movies for a laptop I bought with a limited size flash memory hard drive. So far it seems to work fine. I was able to copy my movies over and they seem to play well from this disk. I was fairly happy with the cost of this disk and its performance as extra storage.
SanDisk Has Been Good To Me - Expect This To Be The Same - So Far It Is
March 30, 2017
Using this in my Brinno time lapse camera.... has been outside in a blizzard (inside a housing) ... indoors... and everywhere in between and has worked perfectly. SanDisk has been a product that I have never had a problem with over many years of using them... expect this will be the same and so far... so good.
Works great in my Nintendo 2DS
August 17, 2016
I got this to go in my Nintendo 2DS. It did not even require any formatting as it was already formatted correctly. Just had to move the files from the old card over and viola, ready to go!Much faster than the class 4 card that came with the system as well!
Do you know what you're looking for in an SD card?
March 26, 2016
Absolutely a great buy. For the money I am very satisfied with my purchase. I think I may share something that a lot of people may not be aware of, since I have informed many family and friends and they said they we unaware and glad I had told them. When shopping for this type of memory card, there are a couple of things on the card to look for. The obvious one being the size of the card, this one being 32gb for instance. It's also extremely useful to know that the very small number with a circle around it is of importance too. This one has a 10 with a circle around it. These cards will have 1-10 on it. The significance is Minimum Serial Data Writing Speed, meaning Class 10 cards have a minimum transfer rate of 10 MB/s. Your card may also display a U with either a I or II in it, signifying the ultra high speed bus (UHS). Now apply this to what you're using this particular card for. I bought it for my trail camera. A class 10 card is used for full HD (1080p) video recording and consecutive recording of HD stills. UHS Class 1 cards are used for real-time broadcasts and recording large HD video files. Other cards would have worked for my trail cam but this one was ideal, and affordable.
An upgrade in READ speed, write speeds vary
October 3, 2015
The SanDisk Ultra 80MB/s is a new card that replaces the Ultra 40MB/s. The 80MB/s is the read speed only. SanDisk refers to the write speed as Class 10, which means the card maintains at least 10MB/s continuous write, but does not state a maximum write speed. I tested the following Ultra 80MB/s cards: (2) 32GB, 64GB and 128GB and compare with the previous Ultra 40MB/s cards. I use CrystalDiskMark benchmark (5 passes, 1GB random data) and USB 3.0 card reader.SanDisk Ultra 80MB/s (new version, September 2015) 32GB (1) Read: 94.2 MB/s Write: 43.0 MB/s 32GB (2) Read: 97.7 MB/s Write: 20.9 MB/s 64GB Read: 82.4 MB/s Write: 19.1 MB/s128GB Read: 97.7 MB/s Write: 38.5 MB/sSanDisk Ultra 40MB/s (old version, 2014-2015)32GB Read: 47.8 MB/s Write: 19.9 MB/s64GB Read: 47.8 MB/s Write: 16.2 MB/sREAD Speed: Ultra 80MB/s cards exceed 80MB/s read speed and are much faster than the old version. This allows fast downloads from the card to your computer when used with a USB 3.0 card reader. Using USB 2.0 it limits the speed to about 35MB/s.WRITE Speed: Benchmarks can be deceiving! The benchmarks show a big difference in write speed between cards. One 32GB card measured 43MB/s but one from a different source was 20.9MB/s. When writing actual files the write speed varies during transfer. The 128GB card benchmark was 38.5MB/s write, but transferring a large file I see a range between 16-24MB/s throughout the transfer. Only the faster 32GB card was able to maintain above 40MB/s write speed for the duration. There was also a big difference in 512K random write performance between cards (~1MB/s vs 20-24MB/s).Write speed of 15-20MB/s seems to be typical of Ultra cards. They are good for general photography, but not fast enough for extended continuous shooting. Once you hit the buffer limit in the camera it can become very sluggish if the write speed is not high enough. If you only take one shot at a time the write speed speed should be sufficient.I am tempted to remove a star because of the variance between cards, but all cards exceeded their speed ratings. The improved READ speed over the previous version is a benefit. Actual write speed may not be much better than the older cards. You might get an extra fast sample, but do not buy this card expecting outstanding write performance!

Does all I need
December 10, 2016
I bought a friend one of these in 2013 and he had carried it to Alaska, the Smokies, the Canadian Maritimes and other places. Before I ordered mine, I asked him if it met all his needs and would he change anything. His answers were "yes" and "not a thing". It's early days yet but so far my experience is the same. I have room for all my camera gear, including a zoom lens, tripod and a Speedlite. I like the waist belt because it stabilizes the pack. The shoulder straps are well padded and hand carrying by the top handle is a useful alternative. The movable dividers allow easy customization. And there are plenty of pockets inside and out. The only small minus has been that when I adjust the shoulder straps to suit me, the chest strap is under my chin and thus not useful. Can't figure how that is possible but anyway I would not use it except in the most extreme terrain.
Does it fit the HTC Vive? YES! (Read notes)
August 9, 2016
Since I didn't see any reviews geared more toward those purchasing this as a carrying case for the HTC Vive. The backpack is sturdy. There is one main large pocket-compartment, another wide (albeit flat) pocket next to it, a smaller pocket on the front, and two side pockets for peripherals. The backpack itself is quite small-ish.The main compartment is very well padded, with soft pads on the back and completely around the sides, along with the adjustable pads which you can use to create your own padded compartments in the main pocket. Now, the main question: Does everything fit? YES, but it's a very snug fit. I've attached a picture of how I was able to fit the largest components inside to help you too.A couple of notes: There are straps to add a tripod on the side, but it doesn't work too well when you're trying to fit 2 of them in there. I think it might be better utilized as a strap to hang a headset (if you're using a large one). I actually mount my two tripods on the bungee cord on the front, though it's not as secure as I would like. I may end up buying lighter tripods (The ones I have are pretty heavy-duty).The power cords actually take up quite a bit of space, and I put all 3 in the second-largest pocket next to the main compartment. I put the controller-chargers in the side pockets.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. If anything changes, I'll update the review.
Looks nice
December 14, 2015
This little bag, while being small in size, opens up and carries a ton of equipment. I am carrying everything in here. I have my Canon T5 body, an 18-55mm lens, a 75-300 zoom lens, a generic flash, the battery charger with two extra batteries, some filters, all of the caps for the body and lenses, plus I have a small pair of binoculars and my Fuji point and shoot. And I still have a bit of space inside! That is just in the main storage area. There are pockets everywhere on this bag. There is room to carry an iPod, an iPad and my cell phone. I also carry my manuals for everything.Something else I find nice is the zippers inside have small leatherette covers that they tuck under to keep them from scratching your equipment. Plus all of the dividers are held with velcro, so you can do lots of different configurations.I just received the bag, and so far I am impressed. Of course all of the Amazon Basic items impress me tho for their durability and low cost.
A great camera backpack with lots of space (and at an amazingly low price) !!!
March 8, 2015
Amazonbasics never disappoints and same is the case with this backpack. The camera bag is worth its price. I already have a Lowepro Fastpack 250 Camera backpack which I carry when I am going out of the town. It’s a little bulky for daily use. However, the Amazonbasics backpack is just what I want !!! It accommodates the camera with a lens and up to 4 more lenses (and I have only two extra!!).A few features:➢ Light weight and compact.➢ Ample storage space➢ Made of very good polyester/nylon material.➢ Has some other compartments for smaller accessories➢ Tow large zippered pockets inside for small items, notebooks, filters etc.➢ Side straps for holding a tripod➢ Cushioned back as well as the shoulder straps so that one wont feel strain while carrying all day longI WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DSLR BACKPACK FOR DAILY USE.
AMAZON - Smile! Great Camera Backpack
January 20, 2015
I have been looking for a new camera bag for a few months. Sure, lots of choices but nothing that I thought would "fit". I came back to AMAZON and actually narrowed down my options to three choices (all measured in inches):Limostudio Portable DSLR Camera Case ($49)External 17 x 12.3 x 8 - Internal 13.6 x 11 x 5Polaroid Studio Series SLR / DSLR Camera Backpack ($32)External 12.20x 7.65x 15.35 – Internal 9.85 x 6.25 x 14.15Evecase Professional DSLR Camera Backpack ($43)External 10.0 x 15.5 x 7.0 – Internal 9.0 x 14.0 x 5.5I like the Limostudio but, believe it or not, I thought it would be too big for my needs. It does appear to be a very good option for someone looking for a very large backpack style camera bag. I like the look/style of the Evecase, and it has some nice options but the $40 range was really over my budget. The Polaroid made it in to my final list mostly because of the price. It has about the same internal dimensions as the AMAZON but I wasn’t sold on the styling.I had looked at the AmazonBasics Backpack, but ruled it out in an early round. After I compared the four backpacks I opted for the AMAZON. For $30 it has modest dimensions, external 15.6 x 11.5 x 7.2 - Internal 14.75 x 10 x 5, and a simple styling that appealed to me.I got the backpack today – the size is perfect. The photos on the website don’t show all the features that this backpack has – lots of storage pockets, sections, etc. My gear will fit perfectly. The construction feels sturdy. The interior partitions are easy to remove and configure to suite all needs.Majority of my photography is on-the-go, whether it is sporting events or nature scenes. I just started celestial photography, which is why I needed a larger case. My current kit consists of a Canon camera body with battery hand grip extension, 2 lenses, speed light flash, attachments for the telescope, charger, extra batteries, two filters, cleaning supplies, and some other odds-and-ends.
Tons of room and good quality for not a lot of money!
August 28, 2014
This thing can't be beat for a price-to-benefit ratio! I am able to fit the following items in this thing:Camera body18-55mm lens55-300mm lens17-50mm lensTwo speedlightsTwo extra camera batteriesCamera battery wall charger12AA batteries for the speedlights4AAA batteries for the wireless triggersWireless trigger hotshoe mountTwo wireless trigger speedlight mountsMultiple flat-packed speedlight softshoe coversPlenty of SD cards, IR-triggered shutter release remote, straps, rubber bands, micro-fiber cloths, etc. This thing has TONS of room inside. The shoulder straps are very comfortable. The chest and torso straps are adjustable for most average sized people. Straps on the back/flap accommodate water bottles or other items and a pair of side straps allow you to holster a smaller tripod or other similar sized item. There are two inner pouches on the flap and two outer pouches as well. For the price, this thing can't be beat. The build quality seems solid out of the box. The only "blech" part is that all of the zipper handles are emblazoned with the "Amazon Basics" logo. But that's a small price to pay as the handles are a nice soft-touch rubber that allows for easy handling. This is a GREAT camera bag/backpack!

Just like any other SD card
July 5, 2017
I ordered these, thinking I would use them for a restore for my Windows 10 laptop... only to find out that I needed more space. So, I have not used the set of two SD cards I ordered. They otherwise appear to be like all other SD cards I've had in the past.
Works with t2i, NOT t1i
June 13, 2017
Works well in my Canon Rebel t2i. Had purchased for my Dad prior to his leaving on an 8 week vacation and this card is NOT compatible with the Rebel t1i, so I kept this card for myself and gave him a 32gb card I had been using.
Good card, a little slow in my camera
June 11, 2017
Very good. Put about 1000 photos on 1 card and could have taken 3-4 times as many. A little slow, but tolerable. Took a few seconds before next photo was ready to go. I guess it could be my camera, not the card...
Could have done better price-wise if I had more time to shop
May 13, 2017
Could have done better price-wise if I had more time to shop. I have had good luck with Sandisk. Replaces a Samsung 64 GB SDXC card (designed in Korea, made in China) card I had that crapped out. Not going to buy that brand again. Overall, I am happy with the Sandisk, and I definitely recommend it.
Good Card

Works great on my Fender AMP (also bought on Amazon) We can add our own backtracks. Also is adequate for our game cameras that shoot video, for months.

Great for camera folks!
June 10, 2017
Use this to keep my camera gear. It is well padded and has lots of small zippered pockets. Hence the reason for the 4 star rating. I know this will sound strange but I get annoyed at all the zippers and trying to find that certain item that is always in the last pocket I look in. Maybe I carry too much and I probably do. Really, the bag is very well made and I do have a lot of stuff inside. The main compartment has movable dividers that can be adjusted for what ever you need. Lightweight but sturdy. A good purchase. But the zippers.......
Great for the new photographer!
September 23, 2016
I have been shooting with a Nikon D90 for years. With a simple 18-105mm kit lens, and no other bells and whistles. Slowly, over time my kit has grown to include replacement batteries, a speedlight, wireless shutter release, a tripod, a cleaning kit...and a headlamp. (urbex almost requires one. And why not be prepared for any situation right?) so, I had finally made the decision to upgrade from a simple shoulder camera bag. That really only managed to carry the camera itself and other tiny gear(batteries,sd cards, lens hood, cleaning kit) and opted for this bag, the ability to securely have my tripod with me at all times? Rather than hanging out in a seperate bag, bouncing around and into doors, walls, people? Priceless. The bag has only bee. In use for roughly a week now. And I havent done any major trekking around with it. But I can say that for short treks around town, with all the gear listed above it is super comfortable and secure. However, as with any bag....it is not without its faults.Size: while capable of swallowing my entire kit at this point with some room to spare, this is a bag I feel will be easily outgrown with the addition of a second lens, and a few other odds and ends. Also, it is a camera bag through and through. Witch means you wont have the constant luxury of packing several drinks, snacks, or other items for longer, more adventerous shoots. This in my opinion could be a big downfall as I often wind up shooting for hours on end, and usually like to pack at least two energy drinks, a 24oz bottle of water, and some trail mix to snack on whenever i go out shooting. This lack of space means I now have to pack a secondary bag for personal gear. Not a huge detractor, but a compartment on the bottom of the bag for small items like that could easily have been added.Chest clasp: the chest clasp that works in apparent conjunction with the waist strap to disperse the wait of the pack contents evenly? It may as well not be there. I stand at about 5'9" and this strap is just about on my throat if i use it. Which is why I specifically dont use it. The waist strap on the other hand seems to be well made and comfortable enough to wear. So it isnt all bad.Overall, I feel like this is a really solid competitor in the beginners camera bag line-up. Its seemingly rather durable, room for all the basic gear with room to spare for -some- expansion, and comfortable extended wear make it nearly perfect. With an added non-camera gear compartment or section it would skyrocket up the list for sure. You also can not ignore the price, great value for such a reasonable price. If you are just starting out and dont have tons of gear, this bag is for you.If you have tons of gear you never leave home without? Perhaps look elsewhere for your go-to pack.
Not perfect, but pretty great. Just a bit small!
November 4, 2015
For the price, this is absolutely a fantastic bag. However, for my needs, I probably should have spent a little more money and gotten the AmazonBasics camera/laptop backpack, as this bag is proving to be frustrating small.Pros:Plenty of pockets, durable, well made, nice looking, small enough to not be a hindrance on long car trips, dividers are well cushioned and there are plenty of them for customizing, velcro holds well, zippers have protective covers, bag is flexible all around (which is good, as I explain in the cons section), tripod straps can handle a decent size tripod, straps have lots of cushioning and lumbar support.Cons:- Bag is pretty small, and I don't have a particularly large amount of stuff to fit in there - a 70-200mm lens, D5100, 17-50mm, 50mm, 2 SB-600s, and three pocket wizards JUST barely fit in here, and that is with the camera absolutely stuffed in - this is where the fact that the entire bag is flexible becomes an advantage, but then the bag looks all lumpy where things are poking out. Even one inch bigger all around would have solved this. Now, if you are kit lens user and maybe have an extra 70-300 style of lens, then you will have plenty of room.- Bag's straps fit in an odd way - the straps are too long or too short or something, and it ends up riding really high up on my back, which is uncomfortable on long treks. I will keep playing with the straps and see if I can fix this.- No little pockets - despite the fact that the bag has many well-designed large pockets (mostly zippered), it lacks little pockets within those enclosures for holding things like SD cards, cleaning brushes, pens, etc. There are a couple, but the last camera bag I had (the Nikon gadget bag) had a bunch. So now my batteries and SD cards just kinda bang around inside one of the bigger pockets. I will be buying an SD card wallet, but was hoping the avoid that.Don't get me wrong, I still really like this bag, its just not perfect. One more lens, and I will have to replace it - but, it was only $30, so for now it will do just fine. I will definitely buy another (bigger) AmazonBasics bag, though, based on the quality of this one.
All fit nicely including my water bottle and a few snacks to ...
October 11, 2015
This item almost fits just what I needed. As for the claim that you can fit two camera bodies in this bag and all of the lenses, is a bit of a stretch, but if you don't care, go a head. I have one camera body and several lenses and accessories. All fit nicely including my water bottle and a few snacks to eat while on the day out hiking to take pictures. The side pockets are smaller than what I thought and are flush with little room to put anything into them. Was able to put my car keys in one, but my cell phone and wallet had to go on the inside of the bag, There is no place to put a water bottle on the outside of the bag, but there are thin bungee type cords on the top, what they are for in the configuration that they are in is beyond me. I have purchased some small bungee cords and will be using them to hold things like my light weight jacket to the outside. There are two adjustable straps on one side that I used to fasten my tripod, but I had to run one of the straps under one of the legs to keep it from falling off the side, there is nothing to stop the tripod from just slipping out of the straps if you don't do that. The zipper pulls are nice, they are made out of rubber and don't make noise when you walk, which is a plus, but the second time I zipped up the main pouch, one of the pulls came off. I was able to put it back on, but it will need some attention in the near future to push the holder on the zipper together to keep the pull from fall off.The inside has a couple of nice size pockets for smaller and flatter items and the zippers are covered so they don't scratch your camera equipment. There are several compartments and each of the dividers has Velcro so you can adjust them to your needs. The back is very padded and was easy to carry and 'soft' on my back. It does have a belly strap and a chest strap as well. I did use the belly strap a lot as I was hiking up and down steep canyon walls and they helped make the pack more secure on my back. I did use the chest strap a couple of times in very rough area that I was bending down a lot to get under bushes and trees, but after a few minutes, it became uncomfortable, so I didn't use it as much.Over all, it is a good bag, lots of compartments on the inside, but the outside needs improvement so that hiking polls and water bottles can also be attached. I may modify it with the use of the small bungee cords I purchased to see if I can get the water bottle and polls to securely attach to the outside for a truly hands free hiking/picture taking experience. If you are not hiking and just want a nice bag to protect your gear, this is just what it was designed for.
Satisfied Purchase!
June 14, 2015
THE GOOD:This backpack has quite a bit of space. I was able to fit more into it than I expected. Here is what I fit.1. Camera with battery grip attached2. Two small Lens and one large lens3. Small Laptop4. Shotgun microphone (Azden sgm 1x)5. Zoom H4n Audio Recorder6. Portable Hard drive7. Battery charger for camera8. Battery charger for AA & AAA batteries9. Assortment of straps, SD cards, battery grip adapters, batteries, car charger, cables (xlr, usb, etc)So despite it's small size and low price it can hold quite a bit! You really just have to play tetris with how you put your gear in. At first I wasn't able to fit as much, but once I rearranged the compartments I was able to maximize the storage capacity.THE BAD:Immediately after purchasing this some threads began to appear. This started happening before I put a lot of gear into the backpack so I do not believe I have over filled the backpack. Not sure if this is just cosmetic or a beginning of a larger problem. I will update this if it gets worse.CONCLUSION:Good backpack, cheap price, comfortable to wear.
Big bag for small people
August 23, 2014
For the price, you're not going to find a better bag, not even remotely close. This thing is HUGE, it holds my Samsung NX2000 with a "pancake" prime attached, plus two other small lenses, two medium lenses, and three very large lenses with hoods attached, for a total of 1 camera body, 8 lenses and 3 hoods. The various pockets hold chargers, spare batteries, a reference book, instruction manuals, filters, lens cleaners, cables, a remote, a mini-tripod and other detritus. There are also straps on the side to hold a light tripod. If I put the hoods on backwards, I'd have room for even more stuff, but there are only enough dividers included to make 7 compartments. The padded dividers are attached with velcro, so you can resize or reshape the compartments as needed, but there doesn't appear to be any way to buy more. The bag seems to be well made and I haven't noticed any problems with the zippers or seams so far. There is one little problem, however. This bag cannot possibly have been designed for adults. It's extremely difficult to get it over both of my shoulders, and nearly impossible to remove without assistance, even with the straps let all the way out. The bag rides extremely high on my back and is very uncomfortable; the strap that's supposed to go around your waist goes around the middle of my chest. It also doesn't work very well slung over one shoulder, it constantly feels like it's sliding off. It feels like it was sized for children. It has a handle to carry it like a suitcase, but I wish it had some way of attaching a sling to carry it like a duffel.

No Jewel Case - Be sure to order them separately when you order this!
August 18, 2017
I was stunned when I received this. There is no jewel case to protect the card. I can't really use it until I purchase one. I did do a test photo and it seems fine. Upon checking various stores I realized this is common today, but it was my first experience. Be sure to order jewel cases when you place your order for these cards. How cheap can companies get????

Not padded enough
April 13, 2017
This seems like a nice enough bag, but I dummy like that there is no padding on the interior front.I'm springing for the CaseLogic bag.
Nothing short of decent. So far I am pleased with it.
February 27, 2017
Decent quality. I am afraid to use the zipper with anything more than very cautious and gentle force. The inside has plenty of room for beginner to intermediate photographers. Cannot beat the price. If you can sew, I would recommend reinforcing the sticking on the handle and shoulder straps. If you feel it's worth it, perhaps even swap the zipper and reinforce it as well. Odds are, you bought this for the cheap price and decent quality. Again, I would strongly recommend doing some self reinforcement work. I haven't used it in the field yet, but so far, I am happy with it.
small backpack, but functional
December 2, 2015
Just got it today, will update this if my opinion changes.First impression was that it's very small, like it's built for a child. I am by no means a big person, but i had to loosen the shoulder straps almost all the way to have the waist strap reach my waist, and then the backpack looks ridiculous because it only reaches my shoulder blades. I am new to photography so I definitely don't have enough stuff to fill the backpack, but it looks like it could hold everything i would ever want.
and more like a full full-sized backpack
March 22, 2015
This bag is ok for a small day time pack for carrying some decent equipment, basically a small backpack. It's certainly more geared towards larger pro-style equipment than one that just holds the camera, but it also isn't a multi-compartment bag to hold various accessories along with the camera and lenses. The extra pockets aren't really large enough to hold equipment (for example, if you have several wireless flash triggers). The biggest problem for me is that the bottom strap falls right around my belly, and is only about 38" (I measured). I have a 34" waist, but I'm not a small build. I can just barely buckle this bottom belt if I'm not wearing more than a t shirt.I'll typically take a Nikon D7100, Nikon 50mm, 85mm, SB-910 Flash, and Sigma 17-50 lens with some batteries and lens cleaning supplies in it for quick access. I generally keep all that plus more triggers and various accessories in a larger Lowe bag that is mainly for storage, and more like a full full-sized backpack.
AmazonBasics a basic copy of the Canon 200 EG
December 7, 2014
I purchased the AmazonBasics Backpack as a replacement for my well worn, world traveled, Canon 200 EG backpack. After reading all of the reviews, I was extremely optimistic that it was a cost-effective alternative. Unfortunately, the Basics is a basically poor copy of the 200 EG. Made in China, the Basics appears to be reasonably nice bag. Unlike the 200 EG it has a rigid foam frame and appears more "camera like" for better or worse. The outer nylon doesn't appear as durable as the 200 EG and the outer pocket is little more than a zipper attached to a slice in the fabric (unlike the 200EG's outer pocket which is eminently useful). The middle pocket is a little better, though not as useful as the 200 EG. The main compartment is roomy although unlike the 200 EG it is laid out such that the camera body rests at the bottom with the lens sticking up rather than the more convenient "top down", body up. The Basics does have a pair of roomier inner zip pockets made of a strange laminated plastic which feels cheap. Perhaps the greatest downside of this bag is the mediocre and narrow backpack straps. Compared to the 200 EG, the basics' straps are thinner and the foam is of much poorer quality. Load this backpack up with a pro body, a couple of long lenses, and it screams shoulder pain. While the 200 EG isn't a high end bag, I find it travels well, holds a lot, and despite the Canon logo, it appears and carries more like a backpack. One can find the 200 EG for approximately $8 more and at that price point the 200 EG appears to be a better buy.
Ideal (4.5 stars) for a woman photographer (a non hyperbolic review)
October 12, 2013
What arrives is exactly what you would expect from this style and price of camera backpack. Pretty basic. 3 stars. But, I think it is worth it to spend more on a name brand if the following does not bug you:- The quality of materials is good but not exceptional. Again, the price matches it well just like a cheaper, smaller, cheaper car uses cheaper and poorly designed components. You could also spend more and get better parts on a different small car model and brand. Nothing wrong with less well designed and cheap. But, you get what you pay for and you do here.- It is on the small side for a man. I don't mean the part that holds the gear. It's, OK. I mean fitting on a human. When I weighed 170 at 5 foot 11 and in the peak of health (but not a jock), I had broad shoulders and getting a suit to feel comfortable was always a hassle. Backpacks are a similar problem. If you have broad shoulders at any weight, most just do not fit right. This is on the small side and, well, the cross strap will choke you and the belt is above your belly button if you are a full grown man over 5'10" with broad shoulders (and now, a middle age stomach). For average to small women, this is sized *perfect*.I wish backpack makers (camping, camera, school, computer, et al) would make 2 sizes. Average (what they do now to fit small to medium people) and Grande to fit big shouldered men of all ages and sizes. The storage space is the same but the packs fit more people better. This would be nothing short of an incredible innovation if only one pack maker started doing this.- The plastic strap parts, the buckles, does not work so well. Either that or the strap material does not work well with the buckles. Either way, this was a big enough problem for me that, I returned it. On my Lowepro backpack (small, cheap model), I never had any buckle or strap issues at all.Amazon has a Basics line. But they need an “Essentials” line where they design a bit more and spend a bit more and sell it for a bit more on some things in the line. Camera bags and backpacks would be a good place to do this. Have a Basics and an Essentials version of the same style but on the Essentials, the quality is noticeably better in materials used and, maybe more industrial design innovation is also visible.

Couldn't get this to work. Camera and laptop kept showing error screens that no SD card could be located. Needless to say, both me and my husband were very disappointed we couldn't capture our neice's wedding day.
There may be some technical way to make it work but it does not work like all my prior SD cards

SOME BUYERS MIGHT HAVE MAC COMPUTERSYOUR PRODUCT DESCRIPTION OMITTED RELEVANT INFOFORMAT WAS NOT SHOWN AND WAS FORMATTED FOR PCs, not one read/writable by both. There may be some technical way to make it work but it does not work like all my prior SD cards.80 MB/s should also be clarified. I see many camera users complaining re card-caused video problems and question the Class 10 advertised.
A very slow memory card if you own a good camera. But it's OK for crappy cameras if you like to do low resolution video.
December 31, 2016
It is a slow memory card, too slow for good quality cameras. I already knew that, but I still bought it because I am giving to it a totally different use: I am using this card to store a backup of the "best pictures of the day" every day during a very long backpacking trip. Every few weeks I send the memory card via traditional mail to my family at home in order to have a safe backup in case someone steals my backpack.
Possibly Faulty Chip Received--Reviewed Anyways
December 27, 2016
I likely received a faulty chip, but here's my chip's tale:It was inserted into a Nikon D3300. The chip has gone through less than 5 powering on/off cycles with less than 150 photographs shot and written onto the card. I usually wait a few minutes before removing the chip from said camera after powering the latter off.The chip was inside the camera, which was enclosed in the AmazonBasics Backpack for SLR/DSLR Cameras when it went through airport security and x-ray a maximum of 4 times. When I got home and inserted it into my PC it said it needed formatting. I tried both quick format and the painstakingly long plain format process, both of which failed. When inserted back into the D3300 I received an error message about the card's defectiveness.I will order another one and give it a second chance.
broken lock switch
November 29, 2016
I have always had great success with using products by SanDisk. Unfortunately this one arrived broken. For some reason the lock slide lever on the side must have been faulty and when this memory card was placed in my camera it would come up with a message saying that it was "locked" I obviously moved the slide lever up and down and tried in each position but every attempt was unsuccessful. Thankfully Amazon's customer service is great and they sent out a replacement that will arrive within two days.
It slows down with use, no idea why
October 5, 2016
Used a 32 and a 64 gb for professional work, for some reason, almost after the same amount of use, they both slowed down. At the beginning I was able to record video with a Canon 6d, now the buffer gets full in 1 minute of recording. Feeling the same slowness with pictures as well, buffer fills up easy and camera doesn't click anymore. I format after each job. I will try to format in other way, maybe with the laptop. Will contact customer support. If you know how to solve this please feel free to comment..

Disappointed.
February 7, 2017
I realize this is a low-cost pack, but I expected a little more durability. After only two months of very light use, the top handle began to separate from the bag on one side. After three months, I noticed the stitching starting to come apart on one of the main compartment seams. I have kept the bag full, but not stuffed, with Nikon with attached lens, two additional lenses, and a few small accessories. I do like the size of the pack and the interior, but if it can't hold up to very light, occasional use it's not worth it.
Not for two DSLRs
December 23, 2016
Maybe the mistake was mine, but I fully expected to be able to carry two DSLRs and 3-4 lenses. I did not have enough room for a Canon t6i and a 24-105mm and a Nikon DX7100 with an 18-300mm. It is fine if you plan to use on camera and the lenses are smaller lenses. Otherwise, you are wasting your money.
If the velcro sticks, it's five stars. The last two I received... not so much.
September 21, 2015
I bought one of these about two years ago, and it's awesome. Still holding strong, holds all my GoPro stuff, and I use it all the time. Definitely worth the price. Five stars for sure.I bought a DSLR recently and was excited that this backpack was packaged with it. However, when I got it, I quickly noticed that the inside dividers would velcro/stick to each other, but would barely stick to the inside of the backpack itself, the walls or frame of the backpack, if you will. I compared it to my previous AmazonBasics backpack and the difference was crazy. You can barely pull the velcro off of the walls of that backpack and they haven't so much as shifted in two years. With this one, the dividers would stay stuck to each other, but free floating within the backpack itself.I asked for and got a replacement pretty quickly because Amazon is awesome, but it has the same issue as this most recent one. Since I now have one fantastic backpack and two less-than-good backpacks (that will be returned), I can't rate this higher than two stars. Not sure what changed, or if it's just a random selection that will right itself soon, but I'll be searching elsewhere for a DSLR backpack. If you get one where the velcro sticks to the inner backpack wall itself, it's a five star backpack for sure. Without that, it's kind of useless. Worth trying since Amazon is great at taking returns, just keep that in mind if you're on a time crunch and needing a backpack right away.
Good bag very poor strap
June 10, 2015
The handle/strap on the 1st one broke after using the bag a couple of times so I exchanged it for another one. Amazon was pretty quick in the exchange- as usual. Unfortunately, the handle on the second one broke as well but couldn't exchange it anymore because it happened when I was already out of the return window. I'm giving 2 stars just because the rest of the backpack is pretty good- plenty of space inside and a lot of pockets, otherwise I would have given it 1 star because of the poor design of the strap- the ends are sewn to the body by the very ends, leaving very little support for the stresses that a strap like that is subjected to.
Broke on the first day
November 8, 2014
Bought this bag after reading many reviews and thoughts... on the first day of use without any force the handle broke down.It has spoiled all good ideas about this bag.In the future I will definitely spend more and will buy other brand bag.
It made it through the trip
October 16, 2012
I bought this bag to carry my gear on a week-long trip. I had grown out of my small shoulder bag and this looked perfect for what I was planning to carry. In fact, it was perfect. I got my DSLR and 3 lenses, a couple of small HD video cameras, some audio gear, and all the batteries, cards, and filters I have in the bag; It all easily fit with no need to cram anything in. I was even able to strap a tripod on the side. Everything seemed to have a place and when I left I was really pleased with the bag.I spent the week shooting and the bag did the job, but it was starting to come apart by the end of the week. By the time I got back home, I was really unhappy with the condition the bag was in, in spite of the way I babied it once I noticed the straps were pulling apart. Needless to say, I returned the bag to Amazon, who happily refunded me. The moral of the story is, if you don't have much gear (i.e., half what Amazon says this bag will carry) this bag will serve you well. Otherwise, look for something else.Rather than getting a replacement, I took the money and bought a more expensive bag that better met my needs and has lasted me many trips--the Lowepro Stealth Reporter D550 AW Camera Bag. It is a massive shoulder bag that is built like a tank. If you'd rather have a backpack, I'm sure one of the Lowepros would serve you well.

First memory card that has ever failed on me...pass!
September 18, 2017
I'm a long-time sandisk user and own several of their products, but this one is a failure. Having major issues accessing my files off this sd card from my PC (running windows 10). I can see the files in file explorer; however, when I click on them the system just spins and spins then becomes non-responsive and forces a reboot.
Waste of money if need for a camera
September 6, 2017
Placed in my Fuji S2950 and the card was not initialized. Googled, read the manual, talked to Fuji.... yep it's worthless because it was formatted on a computer. What a waste of money!!!!!
Not built for longevity.
September 6, 2017
Purchased this in April and by July one card no longer works. I always download images and format before reshooting and this won't allow me to access my camera menu - solid red light showing. So disappointed!
Confused and Disappointed
August 29, 2017
I don't know why but when I insert this card it says "memory card error." I've looked through my manual- it's the same size of my other cards. I don't know if these cards need to be formatted somehow although I have never had to do this before. I bought these for my upcoming Alaska trip. I wish there had been more information included before I bought this for my Pentax digital SLR or even a contact number inside the package for any problems.

Bought to use on a vacation. First day was great. Second day I turned on my camera and the card says error and will not take photos. Cannot use anymore. For the cost I expected to be able to take more than 10 photos. Never took out of camera before it broke so no chance it was broken or damaged that way. Other cards work fine in my camera, just this one.

Broken handle with little use.
May 7, 2017
Yes, the handle broke. I cannot recommend it because of this. I could have easily broken expensive camera and lenses when it broke. See the other reviews as this is a problem.
Please don't waste your money. Poor construction.
April 24, 2016
I've only had this bag a little under a month. I carry it possibly 3 days a week. Already the top carry handle has ripped off. Zipper sometimes fails to close. Overall it looks good, just wished it was made to better specs. Overall stitching is crap. I will most likely be buying a better bag in the near future.
Decent bag...handle broke on mine and it happened on its replacement as well!!!!!
May 14, 2015
Upon receiving this bag I discovering some very shoddy stitching on the handle. After pulling the camera bag out of the box and grabbing the bag by the upper handle as it was intended the stitching on the handle actually pulled out. Other than this the bag appears to be of good quality. I obviously returned this bag and was sent another one in its place.Pull out the 2nd camera bag and wouldnt you know it same thing happened again. Grab it by the handle and the stitching pulls out very very easily. Its quite disappointing to see Amazon put their company name on something of such poor quality. I might just deal with it and not return it either way its unfortunate.
At first I liked it quality seemed to be passable
April 5, 2015
These bag was through in for free in a package deal for a canon 5D mark III. At first I liked it quality seemed to be passable. I liked the different pockects, the design was perfect for me. I carry two lenses and on body and this bag is made for a little bit more than that. My fifth time of using this bag (very light previous use) the stap snapped off (normal carrying). It caused me to drop the bag with 7000 plus dollars of gear in it. Thankfully everything inside was okay but the build of this bag is not good enough for me. I can't trust something made this cheap for any SLR let alone a mark III. The choice is yours if you want too trust this bag with your SLR.
Lifted it by the top handle and it ripped out and I almost dropped $3000+ of lens on the floor
February 1, 2015
I received the backpack yesterday and went on a walk with several lens and some other accessories in the backpack. When I arrived home I lifted it by the top handle and it ripped out and I almost dropped $3000+ of lens on the floor. NOT happy.
loved my first one, disappointed in my second one
January 5, 2014
I have two of these Amazon Basic Backpacks. The first one has worked out so great that I ordered another one for my second camera gear for Christmas 2013. Less than three days after it arrived, the top strap broke away at the seam where it was stitched together. I faced the dilemma of unpacking all my gear and then returning the backpack and then ordering another one, so for the time being, it is what it is-broke. The quality of the second backpack does not look like my first one. I mean no abuse, no normal wear and tear. I go to pick up my bag and the handle rips away. Very disappointed in this purchase. Probably will not be ordering anymore of these bags.
