Impressive! 10/10 would recommend & buy again.
July 23, 2017
1) Bought this to replace that horrible Cook N Home stockpot, review here:Cook N Home Nonstick Stockpot, Large, Blue2) Very well-built: Solid, thick yet not too heavy. Handles are smooth, secure and far enough from the pot itself.Lid fits like a charm (as it should)!! Lid top is firm. Coating is very consistent all around.3) We tried this pot on two soups and stews with satisfying results.Consistent heat. Fast. A breeze to clean.Amazing nonstick pot at an amazing price of $25.78.Would give 6 glowing stars if I could.Do yourself a favor and get this one already.
Great for soups and casseroles or boiling whole chickens
March 1, 2017
This is a must for any kitchen. Great for soups and casseroles or boiling whole chickens. I thought about getting the 12 qt pot but the 8 qt size is more than adequate. Well constructed with a lifetime warranty. Cleans up quick and store easily. A great investment, affordable too.
Dream pot for a nightmare cook
November 29, 2016
I use this pot to make at least a week's worth of soup that I then freeze and store. As a total klutz in the kitchen, I have set off quite a few smoke alarms in my time from not using enough oil and cooking things for too long. With this pot, however, I find I can saute onions before adding other ingredients without creating a burnt mess and annoying my neighbors. This pot is nice and thick and is still non-stick after a few months of using it weekly. I totally recommend this for batch cooking or if you are cooking for a crowd. I really am pleasantly surprised with the quality for the price.
Nothing sticks to this
August 4, 2016
I have one of the newer smooth cooktops that came with my house, and it would not have been my choice, as I prefer gas. That said, my copper bottom pots seem to warp a bit, and my Calaphalon pot gets hot spots on the bottom that burn when I am making jams or soup. I bought this pot and it works great with my stove, as nothing seems to stick to it. Even milk and cream based soups, which have always stuck to the bottoms of pots clean up easily. It's a good size, too. Have given away the copper bottom pot and find I use this exclusively for the larger recipes.
Better than expected!!!
July 8, 2011
After reading much on the reviews online for this pot, I decided to order it and hoped that at least it would work as for my needs.

What I received went well beyond my expectations for this pot! The finish is well made and the top fits perfectly all the time. There's that metal-chemical smell when you first remove the lid from the pot, as with any type of goods which receives special coatings of protection. After a generous bath in vinegar and another bath in concentrated orange cleaner, the odor is kaput!

The pot is tall but not so much as to be hard to cook in the stovetop. Clean up is a breeze and the outside will not hold runs as others. The material in the lid knob as well as the two side handles is not the type used on my T-Fal set, they feel more plastic than rubbery.

The pot heats evenly and as expected from non-stick interiors, foods will not cling to the walls or interior bottom.

My only complaint would be that the external bottom is hard to clean when spills reach the base, as the grooves are anything but easy to scrub. Other than this minor setback, this is another great product from the T-Fal line which is becoming a classic stamp in our kitchen!

If you want your non-stick pots and cooking sets to last, dump every piece of metallic spoons and serving ware that you normally use to cook in your kitchen! We have a set from 7 years ago made by T-Fal which still retains the non-stick abilities like the first day they were unboxed and used! No matter how much they tell you is ok to use metal spoons and stuff, don't!

Update! 11/05/2012

Man! This is not a "pot" but the "Pot" of pots!

What a POT! Still like new after heavy, and I mean heavy use!

The problems faced by others must be due to overheating the pot in the first place! Coated pots are NOT to be used with high heat at any given time!

Apart from the normal wear from heavy use, the pot is the best value for the money!

You won't be sorry if you order this pot!

UPDATE!!! 06/07/2013

After quite some nice time using this pot, the results are undeniable!

The pot is good for the money paid!
Again, don't use any metal serving ware or spoons and the coating will remain intact for years.

I'm posting a few pictures as an update to the coating inside and outside of the pot, so you can judge on it after almost two years of weekly use. Pictures speak better than words...

If your take care of your pot, it will last for a long time in service!

Update! 09/10/2015

Heavy every other day use and still in good shape!
Some scuffs here and there, but still in top shape.

It's a very good value for the buck. I'm happy I read as many reviews as I did before I purchased it.

The coating is still intact for the most part. The bottom cleaning was hit and miss with many products, until I started to use a bit of baking soda.

The lid is just the same as when I got it home. No warping, no residue build up in the inside seam, no lost parts. The handles are still firmly attached and the molding on them still as good as when new.

Overall, if you can still find a pot like this, it's well worth the buck.

The pictures 6 to 9 are from 09/10/2015!!!

Update 05/31/2017!!!!!!!

Still the pot of pots!
No problems so far ( knock on wood).
The coating has faded a bit more as of lately, but its non-stick properties are still there. Just normal wear after so many years of usage.

Best por for my money!
Pot'o luck!?

It's not the greatest pan in the world
March 10, 2017
It's not the greatest pan in the world, but it sure gets the job done and was more cost effective than some of the options out there. I needed something large to cook soups in, and this is great for that. Allows you to make a lot more at once and heats nicely.
Easy to clean up, superb size for soup!
February 10, 2017
Perfect for chicken soup, which is something I might make once a year. I'm not much of a cook. I realized I needed this pot when I tried to make soup for my sick family, and I had tossed my stainless steel "lobster pot." Everything stuck to its bottom so I could never, ever get it clean after cooking. T-fal cleans up quick as a breeze. This pot is a keeper.
A Useful, High Quality Product
December 7, 2016
I've been pleased with this purchase. The price was good, the quality of the pot seems fine, and I've used it several times now since moving to a house with a larger kitchen. This has been ideal for making chili, soups, and stews.
Very nice stockpot. A little tall, but that does make it fit on burners easily.
July 23, 2014
The shape is a little odd, taller than we're used to -- I can't imagine how someone could manage to use the 12qt version reliably and safely. Ours is the 8qt one. On the other hand, the T-fal is well made, love the vented glass lid so we can see the soup cooking, and the non-stick interior cleans like magic. As with any of these non-stick cookware, be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions and season them with light heat (30 seconds or so) and wipe on a coating of vegetable oil. This should be re-done every few months or so; they say after a dozen dishwasher passes, but we hand-wash and don't use the pot that often.
Good Pot...... Horrible job of Shipping it to me !!!
January 29, 2014
The pot seems very nice. My only complaint would be that the bottom of the pot has a slippery surface and tends to move about on the stove. Not a major complaint, but something you have to be aware of when you are going to move it or stir the contents while cooking. I'm using it for the first time at the moment and it seems to be doing a good job. I was disappointed in how it was shipped to me. It was shipped in a large box without much in the way of packing to keep it from rattling around the box, just a couple of deflated air bags. I found a small dent at the bottom of the pan today, which I didn't see when the box arrived. I've noticed this from amazon. Some warehouses do a good job of packing and shipping items. Others just throw it into a box with a half hearted attempt at packing, especially when there are multiple items that might get damaged by being in to big a box. Usually these are the amazon warehouses that don't include an invoice in the box. The dent is pretty minor and not worth sending back as it doesn't seem to have effected the interior of the pot. But annoying as this probably would have been avoided it had been packed by someone that cared.

Easily bent in transit. Overall nice pot, but a bit flimsy.
August 3, 2017
It's a relatively nice pot if you can get it to your house without being bent. It is shipped in the manufacturer's box which puts the handles of the pot at Each corner of the box. Any compression of the box causes the handles to bend it into the shape of a football. Second unit arrived fine. .
Measure Your Space First.
June 30, 2017
Even though I read the measurements and have a ruler.. It was still larger than I expected it to be. Can't fit with my regular pots. Oh well, my fault, not theirs.
Lid doesn't fit
January 18, 2017
Before purchasing this pot, I read a few reviews saying the lid did not fit properly but I took the chance anyways as the majority of the other reviews were pretty good. Unfortunately, I was one of the few that received an ill fitting lid however I am not sure if it arrived like that or if the pot itself warped after its first use. Anyways, the pot does what it's suppose to do, just disappointed the lid is useless now.
The pot is super nice although it's a lot bigger than expected
December 30, 2016
The pot is super nice although it's a lot bigger than expected. It's more narrow and tall I had to stand on my tippy toes to stir up the food and the first time I cooked in it, I made venison chili and it was sticking to the bottom.
Pros and cons
November 7, 2015
Pros:
The lid is sturdy (on the heavier aide) with a vent hole on it. The pot itself has partial silicone handles which is a nice change from my old one with metal handles. The pot itself is lightweight. It fits perfectly on one burner without taking up a second burner.

The one con about it: The pot is thin and tall so I have to stand on my tip toes to see inside at the bottom (I'm 5'4). It doesn't seem like a big deal but when you're cooking and using it often, it stinks.

Personally, I would get a different pot so that I'm not tip toeing as a saute things before cooking.

I regret this purchase.
September 3, 2017
I used it for few times and the non stick layer gets burnt. I regret this purchase and I feel like I wasted money.
Peeling
March 24, 2017
Never abused or over-heated. Never touched by metal or abrasives, but after a few uses now has two spots on bottom where nonstick has peeled.
DEFINITELY NOT FOR INDUCTION COOKTOPS!
March 2, 2017
The pot is OK but it definitely is NOT induction ready as some of the comments stated. I bought it because of that. The pot is otherwise OK and I'll keep it.
In contrast my Weber experience over 20+ years has been excellent. The have replaced the hood when the paid ...
February 11, 2017
Got this item last Feb (2016) and only used it a few times. Last month I tried to use it and the lid would not fit. Contacted the manufacture and received an email to go to a local store and try to find one to fit (at my expense). Wrote back and complained and they sent an email to send it (at my expense) to them and they would "evaluate" the problem (do lids grow lids over time). some service!

In contrast my
Weber experience over 20+ years has been excellent. The have replaced the hood when the paid lifted, sent me a new igniter when it was out of warranty, replaced the flavor bars also out of warranty, offered advice on how to repair/replace some things and so on and so on. It costs alittle more but over time this brand is well worth it. Also cooks great.
This is a 10 quart pot.
January 16, 2016
This looks like a good pot. However, I need a 12 qt pot. This pot is about 9.5" across and 10" high. If I had done the math, I would have known that it holds about 567 cubic inches, or 9.8 quarts, filled to the brim. I will have to send it back. I'm sad to do that, because it has some nice features, and if it were the size it is supposed to be, I would give it at least 4 stars. It seems sturdy, and if it isn't overheated, it should do well. I like the non-stick finish, the glass lid that you can see through, the vent in the lid, the padded handles, and the vent at the knob so moisture doesn't collect inside.

The Lid Does Not Fit the Pot!!!
February 14, 2017
I bought this stockpot so I could make soups and larger dishes and I was really excited to receive it until I opened the packaged and tried setting the lid on top. The lid would not fit on the pot and I had to jiggle and maneuver it so it would finally sit flat. Well only two sides of the lid sat flat on the pot, the other two sides left a large gap and wobbled back and forth. Completed ridiculous to sell a stockpot that doesn't fit the lid!! There is a serious design flaw in the manufacturing of this stockpot. I am returning this and will shop elsewhere for a stockpot.

October 24, 2016
It warped now the glass lid won't fit on it. I have only used it a few times, less than 5 times.
Came Damaged
December 31, 2015
I pulled it out of the box and was thrilled. Then I tried to put the lid on it. Despite having lots of packaging to hold the pot securely, the box was dented and so was the pot. A little cosmetic damage wouldn't upset me, except that it was so warped the lid wouldn't fit on it anymore. Returning and buying a different one.
Came bent out of shape
November 10, 2015
Came bent out of shape, lid doesn't fit at all as a result. I hope the exchange for a new one is simple and quick, I needed to use the pot this weekend.
Am I the only person who got a defective lid ...
February 1, 2015
Am I the only person who got a defective lid? The knob won't go on. I'm looking at the lid, a silver round thing, a black knob, and a short screw. Am I missing a piece? There is nothing for the screw to screw into. I guess I have to send the whole thing back because clearly this is the wrong screw or something.
