Five Star Reviews: | 63% Great buy March 8, 2017 I just got this grill yesterday 3/7/17. I decided to test it out making steak. It was so delicious ! Everyone said the steak had great flavor. The best part was the cleanup was super easy. I just popped off the plates and washed them everything came right off since its nonstick. Definitely would recommend this to everyone Good product February 1, 2017 Bought this for both my adult children for Christmas. They have said they use it a lot for sandwiches and for indoor grilling. Both are very satisfied with the ease of use, ease of clean up and the quality of this product. It is not very big so it takes up little space in the cabinet. I get the impression they get a lot of use. Stupid easy August 13, 2016 If you've never allowed one of these into your life, well this is the place to start. It's my third favorite kitchen appliance, right behind hot water, and the spatula. This one will take up, say, two-and-a-half times the real estate of a can opener on your workspace, so sorry quesadilla maker, you can wait in the garage until we call you! This model will do 4 smaller burgers at one time, to give you an idea of its' size. Or, you can super-size them and fit two in there comfortably (well, comfort is a relative term, considering the cow is dead, and his meat is sitting on a piping-hot grille rack). It's stupid easy: plug in, stick grease catcher under the front lip, open lid, put burger/chicken//pork/salmon burger on, close lid, maybe flip it over in a few minutes to make sure both sides get seared, then get 'em onto a plate not too long after that. (Also, for the pros: unplug, wash grease catcher, wash removable grill plates, put plates back, close lid, finish watching "Top Chef", go to bed).Oh, and the grease catcher? Drippings are a wonderful way to remind your dog you love him at mealtime...even if you don't respect his arteries - it's grease, yo! Excellent indoor grill for one or two people. July 11, 2016 When I saw that the plates are a lot thinner than my old G.F. grill, I thought I might have a problem, but the heat is just as even, and the results are excellent. Using an OXO Good Grips Electric Grill Brush, cleanup is a snap. I'll going to be eating a lot less pizza, now that it's just as easy to grill some meat. So far so good!! February 8, 2016 So far so good!!! I love how easy it is to clean. Just pop the grill plates out and wipe them clean. I also bought the special sponges that are specifically made to clean the grill, so that helps. (I havent put them in the dishwasher yet and probably won't). As far as grilling, it does a great job! My meat comes out perfectly every time. I only wish this one had a timer like my last one. And an on/off button couldn't hurt either! George Foreman Grill With removable plates January 27, 2016 I love this machine the only thing it has been doing is the top plate falls off all the time you go to open it after its hot and the top plate is off and i had it fastened tightly on so working on that problem and I still use it and really love it great for all sorts of meats and foods i even make grilled cheese sandwich in it its great and what is even more great is its healthy to eat food cooked on this machine because the fat drips down and away from your food giving you the healthy food to eat without putting all that fat into your body yay for George foreman!!!! Worth every penny i spent on it it is a keeper!!!!! what is more is it is easy to clean and that I like!!!! | 76% Best darn brush ever! September 24, 2017 This brush is one of my favorite cleaning tools! It is handy for a lot of projects. It is great for cleaning the prongs from a rotisserie grill, running shoes, tricky bathroom crevices, crusty pots etc. The size and weight make it easy to use. The bristles are not soft and they are not stiff like a wire brush. Goes in the dishwasher. Great versatile cleaning product at a low price. September 12, 2017 I bought this product for my George Foreman Grill and it does a fantastic job at cleaning. I found that I use it even more though in my pots and pans that need to avoid abrasive cleaning and it excels here as well. Together with the reasonable price I'd have no problem buying it again if it ever wears out. Great for ceramic plates. September 11, 2017 This is an absolute necessity for the new ceramic plates. The wet paper towel is also a good asset for these plates (back to basics). I also try to cook at at lower temps where possible, mostly 325 to 350. A nice dependable electric grill brush May 20, 2017 Soft enough to clean your grill without scratching it but durable enough to withstand any harden food even at high temperatures Best Brush for electric grill! May 3, 2017 I use this to clean my Secura grill. Cleans it totally! Easy clean-up! Brush is sturdy and doesn't loose shape while using pressure while cleaning.Fits into all spaces. Ok its great May 12, 2016 Very good and stiffer than some reviews say. Useful tool to remove the gritty stuff stuck to the grill but naturally the greese still needs to be cleaned off. Used unded the faucet with a few drops of liquid soap, fantastic. | 75% There are no reviews yet | 77% There are no reviews yet | 38% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 16% Good upgrade from my last Foreman grill June 6, 2017 I had my old Foreman grill for about 10 years-and it finally died. This grill cooks in about half the time as the old one did . The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the cord is shorter than the old Foreman. Other than that it cooks thoroughly and quickly and is great for the price Good but not versatile March 11, 2017 Good but clearly optimized for burgers. Hot dogs want to squirt out the front lip. Does what it claims making quick work of steaks. It would be nice if the temperature could be adjusted but on this model it is plug-and-play - it is either on or off. The plates are removable and come clean in the dish washer. A Real Sizzler January 10, 2017 We have had a large George Foreman grill for several years, but it finally gave up the ghost so I decided to buy my wife another one for Christmas. Our main complaint about the earlier one was that it was too heavy and bulky, so I made a conscious decision to find a smaller one. The GRP360R was smaller and had a number of good reviews, so Santa Claus wound up leaving it under our Christmas tree for her. So far, it's done a good job.Although retailers like Amazon sell a wide variety of grills that bear the "George Foreman" trademark, in actuality, a number of different manufacturers make the various models of these grills. As a result, there are several different models of roughly similar size and with roughly similar design and features, but the exact performance may differ. The GRP360R is manufactured by Black & Decker, which is one reason I selected it. The grill is available in a bright red and, for a higher price, there is a similar model in platinum. Although I would have preferred a less gaudy color, I bought the red grill.Actually, the GRP360R grill has a red cover and a black lower half. As with most Foreman grills, it has two separate grill plates, a stationary lower plate and an upper plate that lowers onto the food, similar to how a waffle iron works. The grill has an adjustable hinge that closes down so that the top plate fits snugly over the food. The GRP360R is described as a four-serving grill, but that’s a bit of an exaggeration. The plates measure approximately 11” by 8”. However, there is a raised barrier just inside the edges of each plate so the actual area available for food measures 9.5” x 7”. A grilling surface that small can’t cook four normal size portions of food, but it can and does cook two hamburgers, chicken breasts, or small steaks or pieces of fish. So, this grill does a far better job of cooking for one or two than for four. The design of the Foreman grill has improved considerably since we got our earlier model. The GRP360R has removable top and bottom plates. They snap out easily by pushing tabs on each side and can be cleaned in a dishwasher (a big improvement over our earlier model). The non-stick coating surface cleans easily, although people should be careful when washing it not to let it come in contact with silverware or other objects that could scratch the surface. The grill does not have an on/off switch; you simply plug it in and it stays on until unplugged. However, it does have two LED lights on top, one to indicate the power is on and the second to indicate that the grill is hot enough to use. As with most Foreman grills, the GRP360R has a bottom plate that slants downward so that grease drains from the tray (it comes with a separate plastic catch tray that fits under it into which the grease can drain. Both top and bottom plates have ridges so that the cooked food has a seared look similar to food cooked on an outdoor grill. We enjoy grilling steaks, burgers, and chicken breasts, and the GRP360R has done a very good job of doing so. With both top and bottom heating elements, food cooks very quickly (5-10 minutes for steaks, depending on how well done you like the meat), and the removable plates are easy to clean, even for baked on gunk like marinade. Meat that’s not well done is quite juicy and tasty, without having to dry it out to remove grease. Plus, with the LED light to indicate when the grill is fully heated, it’s possible to go from start to dishwasher in under 30 minutes if one exercises care (and mitts) in removing the plates. And, with the catch tray and removable grilling plates, cleanup is very easy. All in all, the GRP360R is a substantial improvement over the older model we had. The one real drawback is the rather small grilling area that might mean having to cook single pieces of meat separately for those who like big steaks. However, the removable plates, easy and healthful cooking, and ease of use more than make up for that. The GRP360R grill is a good alternative to grilling in an oven or cooking in a fry pan. Good cooker November 7, 2016 I like this little grill a lot. It cooks the food quickly from both sides and is easy to clean. My only objection is that it's too small to cook 4 hamburgers or 4 grilled cheese sandwiches at the same time. Easy cleanup September 14, 2016 The removable dishwasher safe are a very good thing. I've spent lots of time scrubbing my older series of George foreman grills. The cooking function is still the same although I must say the I prefer steaks done on a gas or charcoal grill. Unhappily, this condo complex does not allow charcoal or gas grills at the units due to fire hazard concerns. Love it March 18, 2016 I really like this product Just one thing...it tilts so that the grease runs off but it tilts so much that the steak or burger slides off too. I put a pot holder under the front legs to level it out a little bit and it works fine. I'm single and it's perfect for burgers and steaks for one. I'm in an apartment without access to a grill. This little unit is great | 14% A Nice, Handy Grill Cleanup Tool September 17, 2017 Works well as the initial "scrub" on our George Foreman 15-serving BBQ grill. After soaking the grill plate surface with water for a few minutes, this got much of the most stuck stuff loosened and off. I then finished things up with the George Foreman Grill Sponge. Four Stars August 8, 2017 Does a decent job helping clean out waffle iron after making cinnamon rolls. good for cleaning May 8, 2017 without damaging the grill. Not a whole lot more to say about this...it's does what it is suppose to do! Great brush for the Foreman grill April 27, 2017 Great brush for the Foreman grill; only thing I'd like is having the ability to have some soap in the handle as some OXO brushes do. OXO Good Grips Electric Grill Brush May 10, 2016 I bought the OXO Good Grips Electric Grill Brush for our indoor table top grill. It has worked well on the grill grooves to remove food residue.I hope it stands up to it's name and we get long term and many successful uses from the OXO Grill Brush. It appears to be well made and am very pleased with this purchase so far. Pretty good! but still need a wire bristled brush. February 4, 2016 I am giving this a four for use on a true, cast iron grill pan. This brush does a valiant job, working as hard as it can to clean up the burnt bits and bobs that stick to the pan. Since this brush is really designed for coated pans, the bristles are not quite stiff and "wiry" enough to do a perfect job. But, on my ceramic lined grill pan, the smaller square ones, this brush is perfect and would receive a full five stars.I suspect that this is a tool that will need to be replaced regularly, just like a dobie or sponge since the bristles are already getting softer. | 15% There are no reviews yet | 12% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 7% I like it, but it's not great.. September 5, 2017 After preheating the grill, the top grill has fallen off both times I've used it, after I reattached it and it works fine. Being able to remove the grill plates makes it so much easier to clean then previous models. A Good 2 person appliance May 13, 2017 While it was nice having the removable plate on this newer model George Foreman, it was by no means large enough for four servings. We will use it, but we will not recommend it to our friends. What Four serving size? December 15, 2016 I bought this because it had removable plates, I bought this 4 serving size due to the Reviews about the size of servings you Really can get on the grill, I should have bought the 5 or Realistically the 6 serving size, and I live ALONE! Whatever size you think will be right, buy at Least a size Bigger! You can Only get two regular 1/4 pound Beef Patties on the four serving size! Messy cleanup. May 10, 2016 Very hard to clean. Grill got so hot it melted hole in drip tray. Cooks fine but not sure it's worth the time to clean it. Foreman Grill easy clean Slow cooking March 1, 2016 The removable plates remove and clean easily. The heating element does not cook as quick as other grills I have had. My old one cooked faster and better. The power cord is very short made for on cabinet use. This seems to have a lower heat level. March 13, 2015 I bought this to replace an old one of the same size without removable plates. It's OK, but seems to have a lower heat level. My meats and chicken don't cook as crispy nor seared as well. I'd rather have a non-removable unit with a higher heat level instead. | 6% This does have a groove that helps in the grill ... May 31, 2017 This does have a groove that helps in the grill that I have, but the grease/food particles stick to it and makes a mess to try and remove Not a great "specialty item" March 17, 2017 This didn't do anything special to help clean a panini maker or grill pan, but it is a little firmer bristle than our ordinary sink brush. Great for intended use: Warning- Not for standard grills, bristles are soft, but works GREAT For non-stick surface items.. January 29, 2017 Ok, bristles are not firm, but appear soft enough not to scratch the surface. Not a terribly big fan of this August 13, 2015 Not a terribly big fan of this. It cleans but you have to go back after the fact and clean the grill down. Seems it almost spreads it more than helps. | 7% There are no reviews yet | 5% There are no reviews yet | 25% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 5% This is not a four serving George Foreman ! September 18, 2017 Previously owned two GF. This one advertised as being a four serving appl. This will cook only TWO hamburgers at a time. Lightweight to the point of sliding around when opening & closing . Give me the "old " George ! I would spend extra on a better model. August 21, 2017 You can't even put 4 burgers on it and the temp is not adjustable.I don't even know what temp it heats up to.I cooked 2 frozen turkey burgers and they did not cook evenly. I had to rotate and flip them.I thought i red it would work as a panini press but i don't see how.I would spend extra on a better model. This new model is about half the size of my old one that also said it would feed a family of 4 May 3, 2017 I had my old George Foreman grill for about 15 to 20 years. I real testament to how good these are, or were. Since I just got this, I cant really give it a good evaluation just yet. But I felt that I had to start a review with my 1st impressions. My old George Foreman was a lot bigger and we are just a family of 3. So I am pretty disappointed in the size of this grill that claims it will feed a family of 4. Im pretty sure it wont. Not sure if I just got a grill that was ... March 28, 2017 Not sure if I just got a grill that was damaged. But the top plate won't stay attached. After heating it separates and falls down when lifting the lid. Unfortunately missed my window to return, because otherwise it would be going back. Only thing good about it is it is easy to clean, but not good enough to have to be replaced every 18 months. September 1, 2015 hot dogs will not lay where you put them, much prefer my previous George Foreman which was tilted up in back, held more than this one. Only thing good about it is it is easy to clean.I found that this model only lasted under 2 yrs when the finish started to come off. And I did clean it properly. I just got new smaller grill, probably the first model, for 2 reasons. 1. The non stick finish is much stronger and 2. I can cook 1 burger without having to put it just so on this 4 serving one...if doing 2 burgers it is fine, except for sticking and burning on top, but if you are only doing 1 burger, the lid wobbles around. | 2% The scrubber DID however become useful as a heavy duty scraper fir mu cats food ... September 20, 2017 This product advertized that you could use it for indoor non-stick grills without having the surface stripped. Upon my very first use, it stripped the black coating right off the middle of thr grill! Ive had this grill for years, so it was a real bummer. The scrubber DID however become useful as a heavy duty scraper fir mu cats food bowl when small bits get stale and ruin sponges trying to remove. Wouldn't have bought it if I knew it was going to ruin my grill, but I'm glad it was useful for something else! Two Stars August 3, 2017 THE BRISTLES ARE TOO SOFT AND THE SILICONE SCRAPER DOES NOT FIT THE GROOVES OF MY PANINI MAKER. Its not cleaning the curvature part of the pan because ... January 15, 2015 Its not cleaning the curvature part of the pan because of the over bite with the rubber at the top, also the bristles(?) need to be a little tougher for cleaning. Not worth it December 30, 2014 I bought this to use on my George Foreman grill. A dish rag does a better job of cleaning than this does. The key to keeping any electric grill in top shape, is to clean it immediately after cooking (while its still hot). After using the brush, you still have to use a rag to clean it. It defeats the purpose of having the brush. Also it is pretty difficult to get the food particles out of the brush bristles. Stick to a dish rag! Does not work all that well. June 21, 2014 Theoretically this brush should be useful. It looks well-designed. In actual use it is not. Cleaning grills is no fun. While the bristles seemed stiff enough, it doesn't clean very well. The rubber edge scrapper does not scrape anything off. Soaking the grill overnight is mandatory. The hole in the handle is ill-designed, and cannot be hung on any curved hook other than a straight nail. | 2% There are no reviews yet | 3% There are no reviews yet | 12% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 9% I enjoy cooking on it and think it does a good ... September 2, 2017 Bought this May 4, 2017 and by end of August 2017 this grill is falling apart. ( 3 months owned and it Wasn't used entire month of July) The top plate no longer clips into the grill. Im lucky i noticed before it started to slide off my chicken that was cooking!! I am afraid if i continue to use this, the plate will fall on me when I open it up!! Also, the top right corner of the grill has now started to lose the red color and the color is crackling as well. I use this almost every day and this SHOULD NOT HAPPEN after only 3 months of use!!! I enjoy cooking on it and think it does a good job but I feel I received a "lemon" and that I should have it replaced at no cost to me!! A Sticky Situation July 9, 2017 We only used it 3 times and each time the food stuck to the plates and pulled it apart when you opened it to flip the meat/fish. We are returning it. Possibly there was a problem with the plate coatings. We have a 2 serving that works great. Not sure if that one is by Black and Decker since it is quite old. Broken April 11, 2017 Unfortunately this was a bad buy for me. The grill on the bottom does not heat up at all, leaving my meats undercooked. I forgot to send it back within the allowed time and now I'm stuck with it. Does not even fit two full size sandwiches while my other grill easily did. The hinge at the back is useless January 23, 2017 Base is too small. Does not even fit two full size sandwiches while my other grill easily did.The hinge at the back is useless. It does not go as high as it should be to press upper and lower sandwich loaf equally. As a result, 50% of sandwich gets grilled more than other half.Returned it next day. Teflon coating doesn't last! July 20, 2016 I have had my grill for three months, using it about four times a week and caring for it as instructed. But the Teflon coating already is coming off! | 2% Do Not Buy UNLESS you want to destroy your non-stick surface! NOT for non-stick pans. Warning! January 3, 2017 Do Not Buy! I have an expensive, no-stick grill pan that we use ~3 nights a week and would normally clean it with a paper towel and it would clean perfectly easily yet just felt like more work than i wanted to do--I thought there must be a better way and searched and found this brush. However, after using it just 2x, it has completely ruined the non-stick surface on my pan (despite saying it is for non-stick surfaces) and now meats are sticking to the pan and it will not clean at all. Plus, it was definitely not better than simply using a paper towel and my fingernail. I could live with the fact that the product didn't work and would deal with throwing away the $10 i spent on it, HOWEVER, i am absolutely livid that this has ruined the surface of my $130 non-stick pan! OXO, shame on you--this really sucks!! Don't buy as a replacement for the old Cast Iron brush! August 4, 2016 This is the replacement for the cast iron brush and it's terrible compared to the old one. The bristles are too soft! Bought the brush to clean cast iron pans. Works ... June 3, 2015 Bought the brush to clean cast iron pans. Works OK for the middle of the pan but due to the wide gray rim around the bristles, I couldn't clean the edges of the pan. Not up for tough work. October 9, 2014 Bristlesare very soft. I was expecting a firmer bristle considering how short the handle is. It does not scrub very well on burt items in a cast iron skillet or other non stick surfaces (no I don't use soap on my cast iron). | 1% There are no reviews yet | 3% There are no reviews yet | 25% There are no reviews yet |
