Works GreatMarch 30, 2014 The first time I ordered this sweeper it came in damaged. The box was torn and the left wheel was bent out of place. (Not a very good shipping box). Amazon was quick to replace it. The second one had no issues. Instructions for putting it together were a little confusing but after a few tries I got it together. It works great, picks up grass clipping and small sticks. I have a sweet-gum tree that has prickly burs that cover my yard in the fall. It does well picking those up. Gumballs (from sweet-gum tree) were my biggest problem and this works well (not perfect) with them. Like everything you have to assemble this was a challenge, but not an unexpected one. Shipping was no problem, found it by my door in exactly when it was expected. Does the job well!April 19, 2016 I give it a 5 star for performance, but assembling it was somewhat difficult. The holes were either too small, or didn't line up correctly. I have a large yard with lots of trees, so I needed this to pick up leaves, branches, sweetgum balls, etc. It works just like I wanted. Great customer serviceNovember 10, 2014 Assembly of this lawn sweeper for the most part was straight forward. Picks up both grass and leaves well. The only down side is the hopper bag, its a little fragile. The sides are made of what appears to be a tarp material. During assembly I had a seam start to unravel. I contacted Agri-Fab regarding the seam and they immediately sent another hopper bag. Great customer service. Would I recommend this particular lawn sweeper? Quite Possibly. The price was right. I'll have to see how many seasons this last. Okay machine, but planet's worst assembly instructionsAugust 18, 2013 Too many parts, too complicated a machine to assemble with cartoon pictures. Took a while, and I made mistakes.As a grass clippings sweeper it is hard to learn when is the best time to use it. Grass is too heavy and wet for the brushes to pick up on the same day that you mow. Best to sweep the next day. If you wait until the clippings brown, they form a mat which the brushes can't break up, and many of the clippings sink between the growing blades of grass where the brushes can't reach them. Don't even think about trying to sweep atop grass that needs mowed. Kind of worried now about how it will handle leaves.......... When I completed the assembly and started to use the unit, parts fell out of the right wheel gear drive. Luckily I hadn't left the garage yet and I was able to find the parts. I determined that the wheel was not properly tightened at the factory. I was able to make the repair but if the parts had been lost I would have been pissed. Reading other reviews I don't see a lot of complaints. My problem was poor QC at the factory. Not acceptable. MehNovember 4, 2013 It seems like it does the job okay. However, the assembly instructions are pretty unclear, include very few actual words, and the pictures aren't that helpful. I had to take some things apart a couple different times and try them a different way. the rope that came with it for dumping isn't long enough for you to reach it while on the lawn tractor, so you have to get off anyway or buy a new rope. | | | | |

Our nightmare started as we took a look at the assembly instructions. No words just drawings that make very little sense. To top it off we bought the detatcher that was suggested to go with it, no it didn't. Save yourself the headache find a store that sells them already assembled with attachments that fit with it. So 2 hours later and we got it rigged up ready to go.... it's not as time saving as we thought. The bag is very cheesy construction. The replacement bag lasted only one season too. I'm not buying another one. Lots to assemble AND was missing parts....May 10, 2017 Went to assemble and the design wasnt optimal. The sweeper head blocks some of the assembly bolt location. Was 75% through and discovered it was missing the 12 lock pins, had to go to Lowe's and buy replacements. The 12 cubic foot capacity is deceptive, has to be cleared after about 2 cubic feet. Overall, disappointing. Would like To see stiffer and fuller brushesNovember 7, 2015 Would like To see stiffer and fuller brushes, then maybe more leaves and debris would be picked up. After I adjust the level of the brushes, the bouncing of the bin across the yard causes the brushes to fall to the lowest setting. This is annoying and frustrating. It does pick up leaves alright , though I have to make SEVERAL passes through to get leaves picked up. A bit disappointed with this product WarningNovember 8, 2014 This works ok new but once it rusts even a little you better get ready to buy a new one or for days worth of headaches trying to fix it. (I never did) It was not even usable for me after the wheels stopped turning and it completely locked up. When it worked, the wheels barely got any traction and in turn didn't really pick anything up. The fabric for the encasing is not durable and getting replacements is a royal pain as well as trying to put it on in the first place. If you have a giant facility for storage of this thing and a maintenance guy standing by, then for all means this is perfect for you. If you need something rugged/dependable that can take a little abuse then this will certainly give you pains several months in. Assembly was difficult with unclear instructions and flimsy construction. The first time I used this to pick-up lawn clippings I realized that you had a drive almost full throttle to pick-up any waste. This caused the wheels to come-off the rim. After several wheel repairs, the brushes rattled free and got bent in the housing. I give up, no product is worth all this effort! I'm going back to the rake... Would not buy it again!!!August 18, 2015 Came in many pieces, took a very long time to put together. Didn't have all of the parts. Didn't fit our mower & no easy ways to empty. We bought this to replace the same sweeper we purchased years ago because that one was a good sweeper but nearly 15 years old. This sweeper came in so many small parts with only picture directions to put it together that were useless. Cheaply made and flimsy. The plastic type bag ripped on both sides the second time we used it. We have already gorilla taped it. The bag itself is small and the sides are so low everything tumbles out almost immediately so you can only pick up a small amount at a time. Obviously a piece of crap from the moment we opened the box. Sorry we didn't send it right back. Save your money, add a couple bucks and purchase a quality product elsewhere. | | | | |
