Great set of Sockets!
August 26, 2017
A really good set of sockets for the price. They're not fancy but they get the job done. Not a lot of play or wobble when attached to a wrench or extension. I've seen no wear or signs of breakage even though they get plenty of use on an impact wrench. The case they come with is pretty basic but it works. The sockets had some coating of oil still on them from the factory, so wipe them down when you get them. I would highly recommend them.
Heavy duty, well made works great! If you need a specific size, make sure to check the size list in the description.

Heavy duty, well made works great!
One note. If you are buying these needing a specific size, check the listing for what sizes are included. They have the most common sizes, but if you are looking for a 15mm to remove the transmission mount off the skid plate on a 95 wrangler YJ, you will be out of luck. I didn't remove any stars for this because it was my mistake, the sizes are clearly listed in the details.

I hammered on these with my 1/2 air gun and took very rusty bolts out of the skid plate mounts. No wear on the socket and no stress fractures.
Great quality and a good price
May 8, 2017
This impact socket set contained all the sockets I needed to remove stubborn metric bolts from my rusted on caliper brackets. Each socket is nicely labeled and the blow molded socket box is great quality and way better than the quality of the "socket tree" that some cheaper brands like harbor freight come with.
Good basic set
March 10, 2017
Great set. I should have read the description because doing a job last weekend I needed 18mm for many applications on a Jeep. I had to run to Lowe's and pay over $5 for one.

Overall, this is a very good set but if there was a next time, I'd purchase a more complete set.
Very good impact sockets, nice plastic carrier
January 10, 2012
I do all my own repair and maintenance on my vehicles, which currently number 6... All except my boat are foreign vehicles, and I finally got around to getting a set of deep impact sockets in metric... (Since impact sockets are six sided, you can get by with SAE sizes, but it's far from ideal... :) )

These sockets are good. The finish on the sockets doesn't match quite exactly, but that's really not an issue. Some are a little flatter black than others... Apparently they were made either in separate batches or they were made at different subcontractors, but they don't all look like they came from the same set... But they are well made and sized exactly right... (Some sockets are a little tighter or looser than the standard, but these are dead on. I measured them with an inside micrometer; they are dead on with the spec.)

If I had a wish list, I would have made this set include a 25mm socket and drop the 10mm. I have never seen a 10mm bolt that I actually needed an impact socket for. If the bolt is extremely tight, I would just grab a 6 sided regular socket to remove it.

Since I have a very large collection of sockets and these are deep sockets, I didn't have room in my toolbox drawer that I have all my sockets in... I knew I wouldn't, and that's why I wanted a set that came in some sort of holder or box that I can store in the cabinet where I keep my impact wrenches. The box is nice, two locking tabs and a handle to grab it with. The standard spring loaded socket holders won't work with these, they are far too heavy and will just fall off.

Very happy with these sockets.

Good for the price
August 3, 2017
Good for the price. Please check that it suits your applications before purchase. This is a great entry level impact and it will get most bolts off. That being said, it could not get rusted bolts off my Audi. Then again neither can a shops 450 ft lb one... I only use this impact to get tough stuck on bolts off and to make some jobs quicker. This is not the impact you need if you are planning on using it daily or for industrial purposes.
Five stars off the bat
June 10, 2017
Impact wrench worked great out of the box! Nothing seemed off, and it did a great job on my lug nuts. The included sockets are great as well. I would definitely buy it again, as well as recommend it to friends. Also it says it is lubed from the factory for the lifetime of the tool.I will update this review if anything changes in the future.
I love it
April 22, 2017
I was wondering if this would be as good as my air tools and I gotta say I'm very impressed!!! Not as loud as air and it is just as fast and powerful. Super for DIY projects or professional if u don't wanna fire up the compressor. I love it!!!
This worked great.
February 2, 2017
I paired them with a set of impact sockets specifically designed to remove tires. Bought this to remove my Jeep's tires for a brake job and to rotate the tires at home (saves money from the dealership). This worked great.
Wow what a Fathers day gift
August 4, 2015
Wow what a Fathers day gift. I have fifth wheel trailer and had tight lugs on it. This Wrench had no issues on taking them off. I spent little extra money and it was well worth it. Plenty of power for my needs.

October 20, 2014
I ordered this product exactly for one purpose -- replacing the anode rod in my water heater tank. The rod was stuck so hard that I couldn't remove it without possibly rotating my whole tank. I did my research and found another one with a better review, better power but price wise 2 times higher. I ordered this one instead and it did the job perfectly. The torque is probably smaller than a real "heavy duty" model but if you know what you want it is good.

Havent broken yet on some insanely stubborn bolts. But it is missing some important sizes I need. Thats what the tool truck is for I guess, or they could complete the socket set........whatever. Does the job
Great Sockets, Just Missing a Few in the Set
March 16, 2017
I know this is ridiculous and I should read the description, but the set is missing an 18, 20, and 23. Kind of strange to not include these, and of course I needed an 18 for the first job I was doing....

Other than that, great impact set and way cheaper than any other brand but about 50%. Will be getting the 18, 20, and 23 separately to round off the set.
Great value-to-quality ratio.
February 1, 2017
Didn't care for the grease that comes on them, but it's a solid set for the money. I mainly wanted a quick access set for my torque wrenches when working on my motorcycle and I also needed a 6pt 24mm which my big set didn't have. Covers everything I need in a durable plastic case that fits in my bike with my torque wrench.

Packaging and cleanup was inconvenient, but I'm happy with the ratio of value to quality.
Not chrome vanadium/black powder coated
August 27, 2016
These are a good value. However, they are not Chrome vanadium/black powder coated as shown in the picture. My set looks like the industrial Pittsburgh impact set that you find at Harbor Freight where oil will soak in rather than simply wipe away. Regardless, they work fine and are significantly cheaper in price than the Harbor Freight brand.

If you're looking for a nice similar set that is indeed Chrome vanadium/black powder coated, check out the Ingersoll Rand SK4M14L set here on Amazon. However, note that set costs $65.
Strong set, but could be more complete. Needs a stronger carrying case.
February 18, 2015
Great set, nice and robust. I don't think I'll be needing replacements any time soon, however, two things keep this from being a 5 star set:
1. This is a decently sized set for the money ($22), and even though it includes the sizes in the description, the lack of 15, 18 and 20mm sockets makes this a hard set to finish off later. I really needed a 20mm, although I didn't realize I needed it until I got into the job. It's my fault, but still makes this set less attractive than a truly consecutive one.
2. The case this set comes in is certainly handy (so is the handle), however, mine opened during shipping, despite the extra metal screw to hold it closed. By the time I got it, only 1 of the sockets was actually still in the case, and the box had opened. Luckily, they all stayed inside the box. The sockets were just too heavy for the case given the typical UPS treatment, but it also makes me concerned that it could do that to me should I drop it.
This is a great set, just not perfect.

A solid well built impact wrench
August 17, 2017
Received this yesterday and tried it right away on my 2006 chevy lugnuts. Works flawlessly and has plenty of power to spare.Beats having to use a lug wrench which can be troublesome. The supplied sockets are nice but I need to invest in some good quality deep well sockets. Overall a quality impact wrench.
He is quite happy with it
August 16, 2017
I've had one these for about 2 years. I use it on my motorcycles and scooters. Never had any problems getting anything apart with it. I gave the one ordered from Amazon to my brother. He is quite happy with it.
I recommend this product
March 11, 2015
I was skeptical about electric vs. the air. But this tool is well worth the purchase considering the low price. I had to do a timing belt job for my Honda Prelude. And anyone who's worked on cars knows that one of the toughest screws to break loose is the bolt on the main pulley of the car. Lugnuts on wheels( roughly 70-100 ft/lbs). are nothing compared to the torque on the main engine pulley. Its torqued at roughly 170 - 200 ft/lbs. It wouldn't budge at first, so I tried again and again...after the fourth impact, that bolt actually came off!!.I recommend this product!
Great electric impact wrench option.
January 10, 2015
Great power for an electric impact wrench. Sure, an air impact wrench is better. But if you don't have the need for the compressor and hoses, this is a great compromise. Plenty of power for lug nuts and most automotive uses. The case and included SAE nuts are a great bonus.

November 19, 2014
I purchased the Kawasaki 1/2 inch impact wrench to loosen the lug bolts on my 2014 BMW 3 series in order to switch from summer tires to winter tires. Of the 20 bolts, this wrench was able to loosen 17. I had to use a breaker bar on the remaining 3 lugbolts. It's possible those 3 bolts were over torqued at the factory or dealership. As recommended, I did not use the impact wrench to reinstall the lugbolts on the winter wheels and torqued all the lugbolts myself with a torque wrench to manufacturer specifications. It will be intersting to see whether the Kawasaki impact wrench will loosen all the lugbolts in the Spring. Overall the Kawasaki impact wrench saved me some backbreaking work on the 17 bolts it did loosen.
Good impact wrench but a little cumbersome and heavy
August 26, 2014
The Kawasaki 841426 1/2-Inch Impact 7.5-Amp Wrench does the job at a great price point. It is solidly built. If there is a drawback, it is a little cumbersome and heavy. You might need to get extension bars and universal joints to use it in tight spaces..

August 23, 2017
I got this to change the timing belt on my Toyota. the 14mm socket is used a lot for that application. My 14mm socket is lightly stamped and there is no way a 14mm bolt head is going to fit in it, but a 13mm bolt head will??? I think this one was dropped off the production line at the factory and was mis-stamped at the factory? I'll be seeing what I can do to get it corrected, no fault of the seller, more a fault of Stanley tools I think. Otherwise a very nice set of sockets that I will probably use my whole life.
Great but missing a couple key sizes
June 19, 2017
Nice set, just wish they wouldn't have skipped the 18mm and 20mm. If they absolutely had to skip a couple it would make a lot more sense to skip the 11mm and 13mm since I'm far less likely to be slamming those smaller sizes with a 1/2" impact, or if I did I'm more comfortable using my standard 11mm and 13mm since they wouldn't be on all that tight anyway.

March 20, 2017
Seems like a good enough set for the money but it skips the 15mm size for some reason. I bought this to do replace my shocks and guess what size I needed...15mm. In all fairness, it says what sizes are included in the description and 15mm is not listed in there. Still, I just don't get a set that skips sizes.
Problem is sizes they don't include
August 9, 2016
Quality seems OK but why leave out 15, 18, & 20 mm sockets?- not like you never use those sizes. Get rid of the 10, 11, & 12 mm- not that useful and a bit overkill thinking you'd really need a 1/2" torque wrench for those size fasteners. Just picking up those 3 individual sockets at Sears cost more than this set. Hindsight is better spending a bit more and getting a complete range.

cheap plastic case
November 28, 2016
As with many other customers the cheap plastic case that is suppose to protect the wrench was all cracked on delivery.
Ok for some things.
August 29, 2016
It was ok. However I got it to undo the lug nuts on my travel trailer and it was unable to remove without first having to break them loose.
Not bad for the price
June 20, 2016
I use it mostly for tire changes and break jobs and some construction applications. It does the job. Not bad for the price.
it could be that I plugged it into an external power source like an emergency jump
November 11, 2015
weak against pesky crankshaft pulley bolts. Then again, it could be that I plugged it into an external power source like an emergency jump. nice and sturdy but not so good with dc power sources. will try it again.

I would not recommend it.
September 1, 2017
I bought this to work on my truck. I had a 30 year old Craftsman impact wrench that my dad handed down to me. The Craftsman would loosen lug nuts no problem. This Kawasaki wouldn't loosen a lug nut tightened to 150 ft lbs. I wish I tried it when I first got it, so I could return it. Unfortunately it sat in my garage for several months before I needed it and I can't return it. I would not recommend it.

Not Impressed. Also Made in China
June 19, 2016
Not impressed. I bought this to loosen the lug nuts on my truck and ended up having to break them loose with a breaker bar anyway. If your car/truck had the wheel put on at a dealership or shop and they ran the lug nuts on with their air impact - this will probably not work for getting them off. Also made in China printed right on the box I'm guessing thats why there is no country of origin on the Amazon description. I'll keep the tool since I don't need an impact wrench often and hopefully it'll work out for my next application (like removing mower blades). Knowing what I know now I'd probably skip this an get an air powered tool.

August 6, 2015
The best thing I can say about this is that it sorta works. It'll take lug nuts off no problem and probably the occasional rusted bolt but don't expect it to be your end all cure. The biggest problem that I have with this wrench is that it's huge and heavy, but not the type that inspires confidence. Out of the box, which was broken by the way, I pulled it out and thought is this going to fit where I needed it to...nope...and this wasn't a tight spot either. I needed it to take a couple bolts off that held the caliper bracket on in the wheel well that were pretty tight and rusted a bit, my car is a 2012 so we aren't talking about a decades worth of rust. All in all, I'd say if you're working out in the open with it, where they is nothing that will impede your length from the bolt and it's not rusted on, then you'll be okay. Also if you just need to tighten things then you'll be fine also. Otherwise, spend a few more bucks and get something smaller with more power.
Not what I expected
July 19, 2013
Im very disappointed in this wrench. The 12 volt wrench like this is better...go figure! I just performed a strut job on my toyota and it had troubles breaking the bolts off and the 12 volt could break em. Im glad i decided to purchase the 12 volt version of this as well. The clicking of the 12 volt drives me nuts but at least i know them bolts or nuts are coming off. I guess this wrench needs more power or sum thin. Im not sure it just doesn't work well. Ik already i will be using the cheaper impact as its more handy because of its compact size compared to this and it just works better. I guess i will just keep it for backup. Good luck on who else decides to purchase this. Maybe you will have better luck!

The product seems fine, but instead of a 17mm socket (the most common use one for me) it came with two 16mm sockets instead. Obviously a quality issue in the packing. The quality of the product seems fine. Just frustrating to not have the correct sockets it should have.
Some are hard to read, not quite as pictured
August 1, 2011
Some of the sockets engraved markings are hard to read. The photo on Amazon makes the sockets appear to have a nice finished surface, which is also not the case. Socket 14mm appears to have a bit of a casting/forging imperfection and is not readable. Compared to my Pittsburgh SAE set, these look like a child made them. I expected something with the "Stanley" label to be a higher quality to that of it's generic counterparts. I am sure they will work, but now I wish I got the 13 piece Pittsburgh Metric set rather than this set.I own a Sunex 3680 12 Piece 3/8" Deep Drive SAE 12 Point Impact Socket Set, they deserve 5 stars and are what I expected these Stanley sockets to be on-par to (based on the photo they look of the same quality and finish).Update: I've purchased the 13 piece Pittsburgh Metric set to complement this set. The other set includes sizes 10, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 27, 30 and 32. The end result is 8 duplicate sockets sizes 10, 13, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24, three of which are common lug nut sizes. Combining these two sets to make one well rounded set is the way to go.Had this Stanley set not had poorly made 13 and 14mm sockets in my set I would have given it 4-5 stars. The rest of the sockets are ok for the price I paid.

Bought for changing tires.
August 10, 2017
I bought this impact for changing tires on my cars and for removing the wheels when I work on suspension. I have only used it to remove and replace the wheels on my vehicle twice now and it only works intermittently. I can only get 2 tires off the car before it over heats and I have to let it sit for a half hour. If it even comes back on. Not worth the money unless it is for a one time use.
NEW - Reverse Did Not Work!
July 18, 2017
I just got mine, never used looked new but the reverse position on the power rocker switch was not functioning. I guess I could use to put bolts on but not take off.
Junk
January 9, 2016
Mine was a piece of junk. Seemed like it lacked power, felt very cheaply made (I'm aware the price was low to begin with) and died in less than a dozen sessions. Terrible. Save your time/money buy a better/more expensive one.
If you think you're getting Kawasaki quality, you've been misled.
May 15, 2015
First time I used it, the socket retaining ball fell out (as mentioned in several other reviews). It sat longer than the Amazon return window before I used it, so I'm stuck with it. Not worth the shipping cost to return it for warranty work. This impact wrench is NOT a Kawasaki product. The fine print in the manual notes that the Kawasaki name is licensed by Alltrade, and Kawasaki has absolutely nothing to do with manufacturing or supporting it.
Complete disapointment - very weak!
April 1, 2015
Not worth the money, would definitely not buy again or recommend:1. Very weak, cant loosen the lugs of my sedan's wheels (125NM).2. Very loud compared, even compared to air or battery-powered ones I used.3. Very large and bulky, especially considering how underpowered it is.Who at Kawasaki green-lighted their brand name being put on this thing?
Disheartened...
May 25, 2014
Box and tool came with scuffs as if it had been used prior. Thinking it was me, I attepted to.use it but I was shocked when it did not have the capabilities the description conveyed. It is widely understood that a non-pneumatic impact would carry significantly less power but I was hoping to use this in situations when my compressor wasn't immediately available. Sadly, I attempted to lossen several lugs on my wife's Odyssey but it did nothing. Keeping in mind that these lugs were tightened by me to 95ft/lbs I was disheartened that it didn't have any effect. Will be returning and hesitant about purchasing Kawasaki gear again. Was a good deal but you get what you pay for in the end.
