So happy to find this!!!
November 27, 2015
I was looking for something with more play value than the typical Lego sets that are put together in one configuration, enjoyed for awhile before being pulled apart and added to the big bins of loose blocks, never to be reassembled again as originally intended. Our 6-year-old grandson LOVED being able to take his first creation apart without guilt, excited to see what he would build next!!!I'm VERY pleased that the amazing Lego creators are thinking "outside the box" and giving us a lot more play value for our money.
Very Cool Set!
November 20, 2015
What a fun and creative building set! This was purchased as a gift for a four year old boy's birthday and he absolutely loved it. He has lots of legos already, but this set was a great addition to his collection. This set definitely inspires the mind as it can be built at least three different ways. It has lots of fun little extras like the ladder that lifts up and the trap door that can be sealed. It just has lots of fun little elements. It comes with complete instructions for building it all 3 ways and provides hours of brain-stimulating fun for children in a wide range of ages. I would recommend this building set for anyone who likes legos whether they have lots of sets already or are just starting out. A young child will need help building the sets so it makes a great one on one activity to do with you child. I am pleased with the quality, the price, and the overall value of this lego set.
THRILLED about CREATOR
October 26, 2015
Our whole family is so excited about Lego's Creator line. Our very advanced 6 year old loves to build Legos however the really cool ones that keep him interested are still too advanced for him. Our second problem is that once they are built they are just dust collectors. NOT THIS ONE. He was able to build it with minimal help and he can actually play with it too! There are lots of cool real working features like the tree house pulley We can't wait to add more creator pieces to our collection.
Creator sets are awesome!
September 8, 2015
Fantastic set. I love the creator line for their versatility. I remember old Lego products having 'alternate' configurations in photos on the box/instructions, but no instructions on building those variations. This set comes with instructions for all three models. The pieces are bagged into several groups to make sorting easier. I find the models all to be great to play with, though I've left mine in the treehouse configuration. There are a nice variety of parts and building techniques to keep the builder interested throughout.
Legos! Can you really go wrong with Legos?
March 24, 2015
My son is all about the Lego! Almost anything Lego is his favorite toy (that does not have a screen and connect to YouTube Video's that is). This offered the best of two worlds. One, the ability to build something cool. Two, the option of tearing it apart to build something else without feeling guilty. He loves his Lego sets (recently completed his Imperial Star Destroyer) but hates tearing the big really cool sets apart to make his everyday imagination filled robotic, mass destroyers with rocket launchers, lasers, lock picks, cloaking devices and sticky spring legs. You know, the normal stuff. So this was the perfect addition to his addiction.
Great set for playing with!
November 6, 2013
This LEGO set has tons of play options after it's built. The build itself is fun, and it's cool to have three different options--I really like that about the creator series. But the treehouse build is the most fun option for my 5 year old--lots of cool little elements.

Great buy, Classic Lego set.
June 6, 2016
A True classic! This Lego set is perfect for beginners. We just started diving into the world of Lego's and this set includes several sets that you can choose to build ex. ghost, flower, farm etc. or you can just build it like you want to. They come in bags separated by color and it has a large variety of different types of Lego's. The price is extremely reasonable and I am considering buying it again just because the huge Lego container that it comes in is very sturdy and will be worth it for more Lego's that we purchase in the future! Very happy with this buy.
Back to Basics...
May 24, 2016
The old LEGO sets from "back in the day" have gone by the way side because everything with LEGO is a theme or a set that has a specific character or purpose to a movie, tv show, or comic book. That is why I LOVE this CLASSIC Creative Brick Box. It has a variety of colors, shapes, bricks, etc. and there isn't a book of "this is how you put it together". This is a perfect way to find the Master Builder in your child. It has been a lot of fun to put the electronic devices down and spend some time just being creative. LEGOs of any kind help with the fine motor skills all kids need-- but I have seen this CLASSIC Creative Brick Box set also give my children a chance to grow and expand their mental world. They have improved their problem solving skills as well as just allowed them to have fun without having to follow directions or have a failed project.

**This product was a personal purchase for myself at the normal retail price. I am reviewing it solely because I want to share my experience with other potential customers. I have received no compensation for my review nor do I have any relationship with the seller or manufacturer of this product.
You just can't go wrong with Lego. :)

If you're looking for a great kit of classic blocks with a nice selection of more specialized blocks to get you started or build on your existing collection, look no further. Good selection of blocks in every color of the rainbow and a variety of shapes and sizes. Includes a booklet with a few project ideas that were easy enough for my 4 year old to complete with little assistance. The tool for separating pieces has proven to be very helpful. My son is particularly happy with the selection of wheels and eyes... he's been busy creating vehicles with faces and loving it! You just can't go wrong with Lego. :)
Great creative fun for 5 year old.
February 19, 2015
Seems like Lego's are all a specific kit lately, bat mobile, etc, with custom parts. Too complicated for a 5 year old in my opinion.
This bucket however, my 5 year old plays with for hours on end. I added a large 10"x10" lego mat for $10ish and won't look back.
The parts give you plenty of wheels and various unique pieces to keep the little builders busy.
No people though, wish it came with a few generic characters.
Will absolutely buy other 'creative' series boxes. Plenty of room in the box to add more Lego's later too.
great for a supplement or a starter set
February 1, 2015
This set comes with a variety of 484 Legos. They are separated into bags and placed into this yellow plastic bin. Once you open the bags, it would probably take up one fifth of the bin. Do not think this bin is coming filled to the top, that would be hundreds of dollars. The bin itself would be great for storage if you needed. I am planning on saving it for their Lego themed birthday party to set up paper plates or silverware in.

This is a classic set nostalgic to the bins I had as a child. I am a fan of Lego in general, I like their kits because they allow my 5 and 3 year old to create trains, cars, etc that look cool and are fun to play with. These classic kits allow for their Imaginationon to run wild as they dig in.

This set came with 35 colors. I was happy with the assortment of pieces, some of the smooth finishing pieces, ramps, dot pieces, grated pieces. It had a selection of wheels and hubs, tiny size and medium. Without the tires you can create train wheels. There were several small black windows, without shutters or panes. And one tiny arch window that is pictured on the front. There's also the smooth dot eyeballs. This kit contained a few base plates, the largest was 8x16. Also a brick separator, which is really cool device so you don't have to use your teeth.

Right now we are getting these classics sets to bulk up my kids collection for free building. I do like this medium set for the variety it contains. I have read that you shouldn't pay more than ten cents per Lego (accounting for differences in variety of sizes). This kit retails for $30, so with that little thought in mind it is a great price and variety.

I also recommend the the $20 Lego classic bright box. It contained great colors, and didn't have wheels or windows- mostly building bricks.

if you are just getting started with Legos- buy it. If you need a gift for a Lego lover- buy it. If you want to add on to your/your child's collection- buy it. Getting more Legos can never be wrong, especially when they build your child's imagination and keep them busy for hours!

My 10 year old daughter requested this set
March 18, 2015
It is amazing with these sets now a days. My daughter was able to complete all designed models. It was challenging for her but not too difficult. She got this for Christmas and still plays with it, a very good buy, many hours of good use and imagination.
Okay...it's a tree house...but there is no tree...had to buy additional elements on Ebay
March 17, 2015
I bought this set to compliment my Lego Simpsons House as it doesn't look like one is in the works at the moment. I'm glad to hear the Kwik E Mart is coming through. The build was straight forward and the amount of pieces is decent. The biggest complaint is that there is no tree elements present. I have a healthy adult imagine, but come on this is the worst excuse for a tree even though this is a Creator set. Maybe the small builders won't mind so much, but the first thing I did upon completion was spend another $15 on Ebay ordering tree elements (branches, etc) to bulk up this set and give it some character. I'm waiting on the pieces as they should be delivered in the next couple of days.
Treehouse FTW
January 2, 2015
I seem to have got a set with a piece missing - which in my experience is very, very rare. Managed to get a replacement from the "suitcase" of parts I bought earlier. We've only built the tree house and it is great with lots of detail including a lake next to the tree house with a winch and bucket to bring water up. There is also a retractable hinged ladder with a watery surprise for unwelcome visitors. Looks like we're not going to build the other two.Not a very complex build, the age range is about right. Other than the (allegedly) missing part, am quite happy with this kit which I bought at $23.99.
Click & Compare. Great variety & comparable set total.
October 14, 2014
Great value for the price. I looked at several sets before settling on this one. The variety & number of pieces made it, what I believe to be, a great indtroductory set for my previously-Lego-deprived daughter.
Much better for daughter than Lego Friends sets
December 28, 2013
We chose this for our 6 yr old daughter after being disappointed with the Lego Friends sets, which did not seem to involve as much building. This was a great set for her, and we love the 30 in 1 aspect.Would've given it full stars, except there are translucent window pieces that are the most annoying Lego pieces ever... We can't tell if we had done missing pieces or if they were just lost because they are practically invisible lol!Our 8 yr old son enjoyed helping her with this and his interest in it encouraged her enthusiasm.

Very nice for kids that will not put in mouth
August 9, 2017
My kids are 4 and 5 years old and love them. They are VERY small legos, so be warned that they can be a choking hazard. My kids love this set which has amazing proprietary and universal parts. The box makes it look like you are getting a huge box full but when opened it's very obvious like you've been cheated, or at least it makes you feel that way. Similar to buying a big back of potato chips. I hope that analogy is helpful. Cheers
and there's great variety. There are not many matching pieces
July 14, 2017
You get what you expect. The Lego bricks are well built, and there's great variety. There are not many matching pieces, so it isn't great for games where building multiple copies of the same thing are required. My one complaint is the size of the container. It's almost twice as big as it needs to be to hold the pieces that come with it. It's great if you have other Lego bricks you want to add to it, but as a standalone set, the box is unnecessary.
Good value
October 17, 2016
We all love Legos in our house. This comes with a good amount of Legos, but it would be nice if there were a few more bigger pieces. There is plenty of space for Legos from other sets, too.The reason this didn't get 5 stars is the design flaw in the bucket. There are spaces in the bottom and tiny pieces easily slide in, but they are a pain to get out. We placed tape over the spaces and it solves the problem, but I don't know why Lego put them there in the first place.
these are great, wish we had more $ to buy more.
September 2, 2016
These are a great wayto rewardyour kids when they are doing well.I bought this box in order to create a father daughter bonding experience. It all went well, wet bothhag a great time, and my daughter was really goodat it.I tried doing one set a week and it worked for about 1 month with just this one set.I bought this on sale and as sad as it sound, it's about the only way I can afford this. Since other small sets are usually 10-15$ per 3in1 set.Now is been over 2 months months and I have been hoping to get another creative set on sale. These are great, I even tried pulling out the Krakle.
Great, but consider the Large box.
July 11, 2016
We started off with this medium box and then subsequently added a large box. With the two combined, we now feel like we have enough legos to have fun and build stuff without having to constantly tear apart our earlier creations to scavenge pieces. That makes the kids a lot happier, as they enjoy playing with their creations but want to make new stuff too.If I were starting all over, I'd probably skip the medium box and go straight for a large box.
Good place to start
December 11, 2015
First of all, if you expect the box to be full, you will be disappointed, but this is a good variety of pieces to get started and the box will accommodate additional sets or assembled projects. When unpackaged, the pieces in the set fill the box to about 25%. I bought this set, the Lego Education brick set and the Lego Education wheels set (total 1654 pieces among the three sets). All of these fit in the brick box, but to actually dig around and find pieces, we will need a bigger box ... but to give an idea of the volume of pieces in the set... The combination of these three sets should be a really good set for my two boys for the forseeable future.

January 7, 2014

Not what was expected; overpriced.
July 7, 2016
Significantly overpriced for what was in it. Not an assortment of LEGOs as the name "Creative Brick Box" would lead you to believe. It is actually just several small LEGO model projects, with specific pieces meant for that specific model and not the general 1x1, 1x2, 2x2, 2x4, and 2x8 pieces like I expected. Other than being overpriced for what you're getting, there is nothing inherently wrong with the product, just not what was expected from a box boasting the number of pieces and the creativity of it.
Good Legos, TERRIBLE Box
April 5, 2016
I'm torn on this product. The Legos themselves are great. They're Legos! However, the storage box is awful. Who thought it would be a good idea to create a Lego storage box with a lid that doesn't stay on? Also, there are narrow "trenches" inside the box which are perfect for catching the little tiny pieces - and making it almost impossible to retrieve them. Using my fingernail to remove a little Lego eye from a storage box "trench" is not my idea of a good time. The Duplo storage box we purchased had none of these problems, so I know that Lego is capable of making a function storage box. The next day we purchased other storage boxes with lids that snap on.
The legos included could fit in a box half the size.
January 10, 2016
The quality of the legos is good. My daughter has already gone through the manual that was supplied and constructed all the variations. The main disappointment is the actual number of legos included. The box it comes in might make you think its filled up with legos. It's not. The legos included will fit into just the lid of the box! In fact thats what we did. We dumped all the legos out of the box and into the lid and used that for picking through the pieces when assembling them. To be fair the label on the outside tells exactly how many of each piece are included but the size of the box makes it seem like its more than it is.
Not enough plain square and rectangular bricks
January 7, 2016
I was trying to find some basic Lego pieces to get my 5 year old started creating his own Lego masterpieces. I was really looking for a big box of bricks and some wheels and doors. I thought I had found it in the "brick box". Unfortunately there are a lot of the random, unusual Lego pieces in here that we just arent sure what to do with and not nearly enough squares and rectangles. There is a booklet with a few cute ideas and a web address for some other ideas, but I wish we could just find more straight bricks in a Lego set like this
Okay for older kids--too many small pieces for younger kids who are too old for duplos
July 20, 2015
I thought this set would have more of the 2x4 pieces, but there are a ton of tiny little pieces that just don't have much value in terms of building for the younger kids. My 4 year old loves Legos but he definitely prefers the bigger pieces to the tiny ones. He's too old for duplos but the teeny tiny pieces aren't that great for his age either. I can't find a set that has a ton of larger pieces so we will just make do with this for now.
Okay set
July 3, 2015
All I wanted was a standard set of Legos like I used to have as a kid. This is a huge bucket but only a small number of pieces and some are pretty strange shapes. It seems like it's hard to find just regular Lego bricks.

May 12, 2016
The legos didn't even go 1/4 of the way up the bucket. For some reason I was expecting it to be mostly full size pieces, but I was very wrong on that. Pictures on side of box are very misleading.
Where's the Legos?...and I can't stand pink! Options???
March 21, 2016
I used to love legos for my boys....now, not so much. You don't hardly get anything in this box to make it worth your while.
This may be not what you are looking for !
March 5, 2016
This may be not what you are looking for !I bought another Lego and bought this one additionally as a "building material" , so that we have more room to build new things. It contains the number of elements as mentioned , however most of them are very small and very specific elements , so that you cannot even build a normal home or castle with that 484 elements. So do not buy this , if you just want more elements for better playing. Totally disappointed by Lego's policy.
