This corset is fabulous for a Steampunk costume. I ordered the size based on the bust measurements which had my normally Medium size in the Large range instead. I bought the large and it fit perfectly. So, go by the garment measurements when ordering sizes and you'll be fine. I didn't realize that this corset is a 4 piece set when I bought it but was pleasantly surprised to find that the cap sleeves are actually a separate bolero from the corset itself. The belt and side bag make the third piece. The fourth piece is a triangular thong made of the same material as the corset. The whole ensemble is surprisingly well made and seems sturdy. Just like any corset, you have to wrangle into the thing and often materials of inferior quality can't stand up to the rigors... This 'lovely' handles the stress nicely! The only negative thing I can say here is that the belt and bag are made of thin vinyl that will tear after a few wears. If you were going to wear it every day, you'd definitely have an issue but I'm pretty sure this costume will withstand many costume parties or theater productions!

5 ft 10, 170 lbs(Average body, not thick not thin), 36 D cup, usually a women's Medium. Bought the XXL and it fits like a dream. Comes down to upper hips without the bottom band, just below hips with it(both look lovely). Go up 2 sizes! Ignore the idea in your head of what size you should be, and rock this like you know you wanna. This baby is strong, holds you where you need it, bends a fair amount if you want to let it out some, or is tight and bends a *little* if you want it snug. If you have some large girls you are GOING to need a tank top/exercise bra/blouse underneath as it makes 'em PERT, but you knew that already. Really, this is lovely! Form fitting however you want it to be and curves everywhere!

After reading many reviews, I ordered a medium (I'm usually between a small or medium). It worked out great, because the modesty panel in the back is so large! It ended up working perfectly for me, but I am small chested. I think if you had anything larger than an A cup & you're a solid small/medium, you'd want to go up to a large. For me, I couldn't be happier!

This is gorgeous. It was a birthday present, and she loves it.One of the previous comments says to order two sizes too big. My fiancée has a small waist with a swimmer's strong shoulders and a soccer player's stocky lower body. For her, one size larger worked perfectly. In women's tops, she normally wears a large. The XXL corset was a bit too big, particularly in the bust, so we returned it for an XL. Couldn't be happier.There's plenty of lacing to customize the fit, and the modesty panel in back overlaps by 4-5 inches. The boning is sturdy plastic: enough to hold the corset shape, but not enough to prevent bulging/folding of the corset if you over-tighten. Anyone looking for a serious corset is going to have to spend hundreds on one with steel boning.That being said, this is perfect for casual wear and much higher quality than typical costume clothing.

Following some of the reviews I sized up by 2 sizes and glad I did. I normally wear a large and bought this in XXL. The fit was perfect on me. I absolutely am in love with this corset. I will be using it over and over again, The quality of the material is super heavy and stiff just like it should be. The bones are nice and strong and can really hold you in tight. The buckles on the front close the front perfectly flat. The top jacket is not connected to the corset so you can remove it if you would like. They work well together and are very flattering. The belt is thinner and adjustable to wear on waist or hips. Overall this was a great purchase! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a real quality outfit. Just remember SIZE UP X2

I ordered this as well as another corset (an underbust one) for my Halloween costume with the intension of sending the one back that I didn't like as well...... Well...... I ended up wearing both of them to get the affect I wanted and they looked awesome! I'm glad I read the reviews though cause if I hadn't then I would have ordered according to the measurements on the size chart and it would have been too small. I would definitely go a size up with this brand. In the pictures it is the corset underneath. Worked great for my shield maiden costume.

I got the green one in small. It curves with my natural curves more then another one that I have. It laces up nice and tight,which I love because I use this for my back problems. It gives great support and compression. I look good in it too. Two things though.1 Not great at lifting my breasts, more of a sports bra compression, but I can & do wear a bra with it with no problem. 2. The laces are so long I have to adjust it, then wrap them around me twice & then tie them off in a bow. I'm 4'8", 100 lbs. Wear small or extra small top and a 34 B bra. The thong fits fine two.

Absolutely loved it. I'm 5' 3", 34D bra, small-medium Tshirts, size 27-28 miss me jeans, weigh about 130-135. Not all slim either. And I ordered a medium corset. It fits perfect. It's my first corset and I'm in love. I feel 10000Xs sexier in it . I'll be ordering one of every color including the white, red, black/red, green, and blue! It's a little difficult at first adjusting it to your body but once you got it you got it. It also may be because I was doing it by myself lol. Anyways highly recommend! Can't wait to surprise my boyfriend

This corset runs small so make sure you get one size bigger than average. Im an average build and the 2XL fit me perfect! I saw this same corset at a sex shop for $98! I wish I could post a picture, but my husband would get jealous because I am not kidding when I say this corset can make any body shape look AMAZING! It is really good quality, I tightned the lace to within an inch of its life and I could barely breathe but I looked like a victoria secret model! My husbands mouth was watering when he saw me in this! Just the reaction I wanted. The g string matches the corset too. Its perfect! It pushed my 36 C bust up so good it looked like a boob job! Love it!

Ordered according to size chart (I wear is size 8 or medium in shirts) and ordered an xl in this. It fit perfectly out of the box. More than I expected. I love it!

when you get passed the sizing it is adorable....i am a curvy size 16/18 and I went with a 5x the lace up back feature makes it fit well...i might have gone with a 4 x but it is borderline

They do come small, so when I ordered mine I was disappointed that it was too small...when I returned it they kept in contact with me to get a size bigger and answered all of my questions...great customer service.. I love the corset

I bought this to complete a costume to wear to a showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I got so many compliments on it while I was there! Make no mistake, this is an absolutely beautiful corset in person. As it was, I didn't need the belt/pouch so I left that off but I've kept it around because hey, you never know.Anyway, the corset itself fit perfectly; I was able to get it nice and snug without having to remove a rib or a lung, which is always nice.The only complaint I have is that the shrug jacket wasn't quite long enough for me; there was a noticeable gap between the bottom of the shrug and the top of the corset (though luckily it was only the back, looked fine from the front).

I got the 6X and am glad I did, so ignore the stigma of the size label and get what the size chart tells you to get, because, yes, these size small. Once I made adjustments to the laces, which, incidentally, are SUPER long, this fit just fine. I wore it to a Halloween party and got tons of compliments on it. The arms are a separate piece and were a bit tight because there's no adjusting those (which made driving interesting). But altogether, I'm thrilled with this corset and color scheme. Big hit all around.

I sized up a bit too much based on the comments on this item. The result ended up being I had something that comfortably fit my waist but does not fit my chest at all. I wear a size 13-14 pant (US size) and I'm a 34C. I purchased at 3XL so it would fit my waist. Nooo way am I fitting my chest in though. HOWEVER; this is a GREAT product. Very well made and it looks very nice. I was a little bit shocked that the top sleeves are a second piece, but that's fine. If you are going to size up, don't be an idiot like I was. Make sure to really consider your CHEST size as well.

I want to give this 5 stars but I can't. There is absolutely ZERO bust support in this thing. I purchased a size up (as others recommended), but I wouldn't have had to if I didn't have to account for my chest size. I was hesitant to purchase this, but after reading all the positive reviews, I decided to take a chance. It's well made, beautiful and the hardware is outstanding. I love the clasps on the front! If you have a large bra size (D+ cup), this product really won't work out too well for you, unless you don't mind the deflated (pancaked) ball look. It's not flattering in the chest area without support. I'm going to work around that issue, probably using the thong that came with it to make a piece that will pull the girls together a bit better. Overall, for me, it was worth buying.

This was a delightful surprise for me. I fully expected this to not fit, or to have horrible boning, or any number of other problems, but was on almost all accounts proven wrong. There's only two complaints I have with this: 1) the accessories are one size fits all. you get the same size belt if you are a size small or a size xxxxxl. if you're a larger size ordering, be prepared to cut a hole in the belt to have it fit on you because otherwise it will not fit like in the picture and 2) if you're busty, be prepared, you will be showing those ladies to the world. thankfully I was going to an event that this was okay as my girls were definitely loud and proud and out to see the world.The corset did amazing things to my figure. I'm 5'8", 220 lbs and a size 18-20 with a 38G bra. I am mostly square shaped. For the first time in my life I had curves! However anytime I bent over in the slightest, the ladies would tumble out. invest in double sided tape

Loved it. However, the D-rings front un-hooked themselves without you feeling it. Luckily my friends seen it and I was able to latch them back on. Had no one told me, one by one the D-Rings would have unlatched and it would had fallen off of me! In front of 100 people!!!! Not good. I'd still wear it but next time I will create something to lock the D-rings in place.

This is nice but too big. I ordered an xl based on reviews that it ran small. I should have ordered a medium which is what I normally would wear. I do not believe this runs small. There is a tie up in back which offers great size flexibility but when you order too big nothing can be done, the tie up is already at it's miniumum. Otherwise this is an awesome corset

Okay well first things first,im a beginner cosplayer, and i was looking for something to make me have better posture and just a more... appealing look? i dont know. regardless, this corset is BEAUTIFUL. I wasnt expecting anything spectacular but the fabric is so pretty, the ribbons and lace are all so beautiful it just !!!my one and only complaint is that its little pins/buttons on the front come undone fairly easily, which is obnoxious, but also very minor and easily fixed.definitely worth it, and the price is lovely!it came pretty quickly and it came with a weird g string, so just a small warning!

This is very nice for the price. I am a 32F with a 25-26" waist and I ordered a M based on other reviews. It fit, though I can't really cinch it with any tightness as it is already laced as tight as it can go. Thus, my waist measurement doesn't decrease at all. I think the hooks on this item could handle some tighter lacing, though the ribbon that it comes with which serves as the lacing probably could not. It's thin, doesn't seem sturdy and is cheap looking. It would best be replaced with black bootlaces or something like that. Other than that, no complaints!

I was happy with the quality of the product. I was scared it would end up looking cheap but it doesn't. Only complaint about quality is the ribbon is low quality on it. But it can easily be swapped out. The rest of the fabric is so high class looking, then they add matte dollar store ribbon and it cheapens the look.Fit: I usually get a small and ordered a small. After reading reviews, I thought it would end up not fitting. But it fit just fine. However, the bust area is so loose. I have a little above average sized chest compared to the size of my body. I'm going to have to do a little stitching to tighten it. A bra is a must for me in this corset or else I would have so much empty space between my bust and the corset.This could possibly be fixed if you got yourself in the corset and had someone tighten all the strings in the back. However, I'm wearing it for my boyfriend so I won't have anyone to tighten the ribbon. Overall I'm pleased. I will need to make some adjustments but nothing major.

I chose this piece for the color reviews and the simple fact that people said the picture up there didn't do it justice. It fits perfect, granted I don't have the boobs to fill it, but that's just a personal problem ;) I love this corset and plan on looking into getting more like it but in different colors!

I received my item earlier than expected, which is great, tried it on and it fit perfect, I am usually a size 10/12 and a size 36/38 bust, so I figured if this is going to fit I knew it ran small so I ordered an XL. You are going to need help adjusting the laces in the back but once they are all adjusted its great, gives you some lift and very comfortable too. Would have been good if the things that held it together in the front were made a little better but they work fine for the price you cant beat it.

Ended up being 2 sizes to small so when I went to put it on and latch it up it ended up slightly ripping.

Lovely item and looks well constructed. However, I read the reviews and the sizing scale is not accurate. If you wear a 2x US then the 6x will not fit you even with the corset laces fully extended. I estimate the true US size is about a large to extra large.

It's very pretty and flattering. It does run small. May need to go up a size. This still fit but leaves some of the back exposed, which means it runs a little small. Not a lot of skin is showing but enough to expose about 1/2 inch of your back. I am a size 18 and bought the 6X. The top was a little loose, even after tightening in the back. I'm a D cup. Most of my weight runs right at my stomach though. If you don't, then this should fit just right. I will still keep it because I like the style and a small amount of back really isn't too terrible for me.

It was WAY too big. I am 5'9" and about 130 pounds. I usually wear a medium shirt and a size 4-6 dress. The reviews all said it runs small, so I thought a medium would be fine, if not a little on the small size. It was easily two sizes too large.

I have learned that it just isn't a good idea to order any form of clothing from amazon and expect it to fit. I am a curvy woman and wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday... well... didn't get the chance to do that because this was no where near the right size! I dont know in what world and extra large fits like an extra small but I couldn't do anything with this corset. I have to admit it is beautifully made but I have to give it away to someone that is very small in frame. That is very disappointing and I hate wasting my time and money.

I took the advice of the many other reviews and went a size up. Glad I did! The large fit great. I'm a medium and a 34-D at Fredericks of Hollywood but this large fit just right. The corset was beautiful and seems like it is made really well. The panties matched but were just a little...odd? My bf didn't seem to mind them but I didn't like the way the bottoms looked or fit. I'll choose a different panty the next time I wear this. The hooks at the front of the corset were a little difficult to get but once I had them all hooked they felt very secure. Overall I felt sexy and think the corset alone was worth the money spent.

It was rather delicate & didn't stand up to being tightly cinched.

In the picture the corset is shown to be very tight fit to the body. Per everyones recommendation I chose a medium instead of a small and it is huge! The corset it self did not shape well to the body and did not push up the breasts as shown in the picture, not cup lining at all so (if it did fit) it would have probably just squished them down flat. The thong on the other hand felt pretty tight. So corset way too large and thong way too small. I was really excited for this product but it turned out to be a total bust. Even if I did get the small I don't feel as though the straight fabric would even contour to my body to get me a shape at all.

Runs SUPER SMALL. I normally wear an xl-2x at most. I ordered a 6x bc of all the reviews said how small it ran. I figured that would be enough if not to much. I was wrong. It will defiantly require 2 ppl to put it on, I got this style bc.of.the open front thinking it would be easier. Not.at all. Package arrived on time and everything was as it should be except the size. Being a bigger girl I was super hopeful to finally have something that I felt sexy in... guess I will keep looking. It's length is also kind of short. I have a stomach so I'd like it to be long enough to not feel like I'm trying to fit into a Victoria secret models clothes

I guess it's partly my own fault that it didn't fit. I listened to the reviews that said to get it big because it ran small. So I got it bigger than my actual size and it did not fit at all. I also didn't like the way it was cut. I don't know if my body type just isn't right for a corset or if it was this corset. This was my first corset experience. I don't think I'll do it again.

I'm so disappointed! I waited a MONTH for this to show up, I ordered this according to every recommendation - a size larger than I am- and it is WAY too big. Even laced all the way tight, it literally falls down. I don't even know if I want to go through the ordeal of returning it if its going to take a month to get back and another month to receive the correct one. Its beautiful but I'm very disappointed, if its going to be a three month ordeal to get one to fit, I might as well just travel around and buy one in person.

EDIT: It doesnt even remotely fit. It says 5x in the tag but in reality its more like a large.I just got the corset in the mail today and immediatly noticed the boning was flimsy. As a semi-experienced corset wearer, I cant see this giving any support to the girls or added curve. I did the, "magnet test," and was bummed when it failed it. Id have to say the boning is mostly likely plastic and NOT steel boning. If it hapoens to he spiral steel, I would eat my hat. I have never seen a spirial boning chanel flop in my hands the way it did. But that could possibly be due to the fact that many corset companies double bone their corsets for more support and durability. Id probably keep this and see how it cinches before i return it

The corset fits well but if you are bigger in the arms, do NOT purchase this. You will not be able to wear the caplet.

This fashion corset sizing is not made for curvy women. I matched my waist to the recommended chart; but still way too large. Even when closed all the way, there wasn't any cinching. If bustline and waist-hips don't fall into the same size chart,then it's not made for your body type. Also, as other reviewers stated the "belt" is same size for all orders. Quality is definitely not made for all day wear at events. I was able to return with no issues.

One of the latches broke when I tried to put it on. Extremely disappointed and will not be purchasing again.

A friend of mine owns the 2X and I'm quite a bit bigger than she is. So according to the sizing chart, I ordered the 5X. It's the same damn size.

The garment is 10" smaller than the size chart stated, FULLY EXTENDED. So disappointed/angry.

"Runs small" is a gross understatement. I am a 2x, ordered a 5x and was devastated when it was still 2 sizes too small... You're best bet is to triple your true size and order that size. Im going to try to use different (more sturdy) material for the back lacing, make the back wider and salvage this rather than wait 2+ months for a refund. Also, this is more a "costume" piece ratjer than a real corset. Never. Again.

I ordered this 2 sizes too big after reading reviews. It's still 2 sizes too small, at least.

It was horrible. Once it was on and when the laces were being tied the piece tore at the seams. To be a lace up corset you would think it would handle being laced up. But then again it is a VERY small fraction of the cost of the other pieces I own.

Arrived later than expected without return paperwork included. The color looked nothing like the photo shown (it was darker and more pink and lavendar than blue) and the size chart provided by the seller was very inaccurate. I'm a size US 12 (38cup) and a 3xxl was way too small - came halfway around my body. Mine was thrown out. I do not recommend this product.

I go to a ren fair every year and thought it would be awesome to have a real corset to go in. I got the blue one for one where the picture shows it being white is pink. I usually get I 1x. I got a 4x to be safe. That thing will only probably fit someone a medium size.
