I mounted these up on my patio cover and hard plumbed it to the pump return. They have worked great all summer and have raised my 11K gallon pool about 5-10 degrees (F) depending on how sunny it is. On a hot day (100+ outside) it has raised the pool temp to close to 90 degrees so you may have to bank it down (I use a diverter valve). My larger pool stay warmer than my neighbor's smaller one (he's got no heater).

This really works but when I tried to buy another one they say they can't ship it to me in Hawaii. Why not you did it before?

Great product and I am in the process of ordering another just because I like warmer water (after being spoiled by a heated pool in 100 - 110 degree weather). I have a 12x24x48, approximate 5000 gallons, above-ground pool and run the pump for the heater, in full sun, from 11 am - 4pm. I also use a solar blanket. The temp coming from the solar heater is great and makes the pool a nice cool (not cold anymore) temperature. Kids can now splash and I don't freeze. I dislike cold weather and always feel cold so me being able to swim in the pool, not just stand in it, is most awesome. As I said I like the water even warmer so I am purchasing another but for those with pools around 5000 gallons, you would notice a very nice difference in temperature. This was very easy to hook up and I have no leaks, bought some piping from Lowes. Be careful when cutting the ties holding the product in a roll, the heater is very easy to damage even with the back side of scissors (use a board or something in between when cutting if you are unable to turn the plastic ties when trying to pull it apart).

Awesome product! Extremely Fast delivery and setup was a breeze if you are comfortable with working with PVC. I purchased 2 panels to start with, and I am so impressed with the quality and results that I will be ordering 2 more panels. I am very happy with the results!

Definitely makes a difference in our pool temperature. After buying the first one and seeing how it worked, I went ahead and bought another one to make sure our pool was properly heated.

This has worked for me here in the Washington state area. I have bought three of these and use a separate pump just for these solar panels. The 500 gallon pool will raise the water temp up by 4 -8 degrees a day.

Works well and easy to set up. I'm getting 4-6 degrees rise at full TX sun

The pool is warmer, the solar collectors are stealing sunshine and I'm not paying "The Man" for the power.

I have had no problems rolling this out on my lawn, and rolling it up to mow the grass. It does not warm my 16 ft pool more than a degree or two higher than with just the solar cover on. I had no problems with leaks this season. Quality is good for the price.

It does seem to heat the water although it does leak pretty bad at the elbows. Easy installation and it arrived earlier than expected.

The panels work well to heat our large pool. We bought a total of 9 large ones. The couplers do not work well because the panels are different lengths so my husband used radiator hose. We also had 4 that leaked, which is easily repaired. Seller did give us a partial credit for our troubles.

I live in Florida and thought that these would be great with my solar cover to extend swim time through our actual chillier months. Initially they leaked but I was able to fix that. Still, even on sunny days I am not finding that the panels do much of anything.

It does a great job heating the pool. I agree with another review that the connectors need to be better. If you need to move it even just a little they pop off.

The idea is sound and the panel does work, but the designers could have put a little more thought into the design. The connecting hose does not seal well enough between the two panels to make for an air tight system. I had to use double the hose clamps AND coat the surfaces with ABS glue before I got a good seal. The panels are also prone to leaks from nicks or wear from being jostled around by wind, but a blob of glue takes care of those.If you should buy one of these, discard the connection hose and utilize existing ABS pipe parts available from your local hardware store so that you have a 2 inch section of 1 1\2 pipe available for your connection. Then just use a rubber coupler between the two panels AND a rubber coupler to your input and output lines. You'll be glad you did.

Bought this in late winter and opened it this spring to find pinhole sized holes in one tube. Sprays out water in a fine mist. Defect or feature? Depends on the direction it sprays.Besides that, it is a small leak and loses minimal water, Check for defects as soon as it is delivered.

Worked great, however completely rotted in a year and a half. I would think plastic is not UV stabilized. Crumbleded into pieces

Save your money and buy another solar heater. This unit is prone to leaks and is a pain to install- especially on a roof.

I bought two of these to use as a rooftop installation. The instructions say to use "Hard pvc for rooftop installs" but there is no way possible to join with hard PVC without some rather extreme modifications.The plastic is also rather brittle. Maybe I stepped on it maybe not, bit it leaked in the middle of one of the units in 3 tubes. I seriously doubt they will last 2 summers in the Las Vegas heat.

Hard to install leaks and the connections.

Minimal impact. You will need to spend quite a bit of more money at HomeDepot to connect it. Not sure why they would not make the connections standard since most pool filters are standard. Don't waste your money

When I got it I wasn't sure at first but realized it was missing pieces after watching YouTube videos on installing the product after purchasing parts from lowes that fit it took over 4 days to drop just 5 degrees not worth it

After one week one of the pins that's holds the end cap broke.

I purchased 2 of these and they arrived with tears in the plastic causing leaks. I spent more money to repair them & they are of poor quality and don't work well at ALL. Worst Amazon purchase I have had. HUGE waste of 200.00 dollars these are cheaply made and the leaks keep happening daily
