I will never grow another garden without it.
November 11, 2016
My garden was amazing this year and I contribute a great deal of success to this and worm castings. This is a well balanced fertilizer and I did not need any additional products. I did use a filter for the hose to make sure the chlorine (etc) was filtered out because I didn't want the healthy microbes to get killed off as that is what chlorine is intended for. I'd also recommend that you buy a filter that does not have an anti- microbial function because again it kills the microbes.I chose this filter: Garden Hose Filter - Removes Chlorine, Chloramines, VOCs, & Pesticides/Herbicidesby Clean Water Fun https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007I6MN72/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Very effective and a must-have in a house with children or pets
November 7, 2016
I will never buy any other fertilizer.1.) My plants have been on this product for 6 weeks now. I live in Montana and I exclusively have plants that spend half the year outside in the hot nourishing sun, and half the year (previously) slowly dying inside, trying to hang on until they can be moved back outside in the spring. By this time of year, they are usually starting to get leggy and the leaves are starting to look less healthy. This year there has been more growth on almost all of my plants over the last six weeks than during the entire summer.I suppose there are dozens of factors that could explain these results and maybe they could be duplicated or attributed to other factors, but what really sold me on this product was:2.) Last week when I was reorganizing my gardening items in the garage and my phone rang and I stepped into the house and momentarily forgot about all of the stuff on the garage floor. My curious puppy found this fertilizer and began to eat it!! I know it says PET SAFE right on the packaging but I panicked and ran her to the vet with the bag of fertilizer and was mentally figuring out how to pay the cost of stomach pumping, overnight observation, potential surgery , etc. The vet looked at the ingredients did a quick check of the dog and told me not to worry! I shutter to think if this was a different fertilizer. I will not have any other fertilizer in my house around my pets and my children. Not every organic fertilizer is pet/people safe, so i am so glad to have found this one and it works so well too!
Best Fertilizer Ever!
August 1, 2016
This is the best fertilizer I have used on my vegetables! I wanted to use something organic. My tomatoes are growing like crazy with a lot of tomatoes. I've never had plants so big with this many tomatoes. My basil plant is huge. My peppers and green beans are growing well too! Do not hesitate to buy this fertilizer. I also bought this brand but for citrus trees and my lemon trees are doing very well with a lot of new growth.
Use often, works well.

I have used Dr. Earth fertilizers for two years now on my garden and I swear by them. I am not a master gardener so I can't give you specific chemical information. I just know this product works in Arizona for my amateur garden. Because we have the hot summers, I do fertilize about every two - three weeks during the summer. I think this has helped.
Garden loves it
March 17, 2016
I love this stuff and use it in my garden every year. I always have great results with A wide variety of vegetables and herbs. Typically I use one bag and mix it with the soil before planting seeds and seedlings. Halfway through the growing season I mix a bag in a 5 gallon bucket with water and let it sit for a few days. It smells absolutely horrific, but the plants love it. I usually feed them this halfway through the growing season.
Incredible Results!
July 1, 2014
I live in west-central Ohio, and have been growing tomatos on the same small 3ft x 20ft plot of land along a south-facing stockade fence for 19 years. I amend the soil every couple years (not this year) with store-bought manure and peat, but generally don't obsess over it. Historically I've foliage fed my plants weekly with Miracle Grow for Tomatos. This practice usually results in 6 foot tall plants and a good beginning crop after about 90-100 days. This year I decided to give Dr. Earth a shot after reading many positive reviews online. I added the recommended amount of dry Dr. Earth in with the soil during planting; it took about 1/2 the bag for nine plants. After about two weeks I was seeing what appeared to be accelerated growth, with many blossoms in large clusters, thicker vines, and even some small tomatoes starting. I simply continued to water and prune my plants regularly (suckers only) as I've done for the last 19 years (but no Miracle Grow feedings this year).About 1 month after planting I made "compost tea" as described on the bag, straining out the solids which I mixed into the soil at the base of each plant (as recommended). I then evenly distributed about 2 gallons of the (REALLY SMELLY) "tea" via watering can over the all plants' foliage. (WARNING: As described in some review posts, this compost "tea" absolutely STINKS, especially after sitting in the sun...I mean BAD. They are NOT kidding...)I write this review only 50 days after the original planting date... All I can say is WOW! I planted all nine of these box-store-purchased indeterminant tomato plants as 3" tall seedlings on Mother's Day. I now have plants that just hit SIX FEET TALL, and are COVERED in huge clusters of blossoms and MANY tomatoes. Some of my cherry tomatoes are even FULLY RIPE (50 days!). Gardening friends of mine who live next door are in awe of the difference in my plants vs theirs. At this rate I am seriously struggling with how to control the growth of these things, as I'm reluctant to pinch-off vines that have blossoms all over them. I'm betting these vigorous plants will easily reach at least 10'+ tall (WITH blossoms/tomatoes along the entire length, I suspect) before the season ends in late September. Now if I can just figure out how to support them....FANTASTIC PRODUCT!----------------------------11 August 2014 UPDATE: 91 Days After Planting...My tomato plants have continued growing like mad, and have (seriously) reached 9 feet tall. All I've done is keep them staked vertically (no simple task), watered, and pruned any suckers that appear. The fruit output has been tremendous, with literally HUNDREDS of cherry tomatoes already harvested or in progress per plant. My Better Boys are producing 5" diameter fruit. I'm sold on Dr. Earth. BUY THIS PRODUCT!-------------------------------------2015 Results - August 14, 2015:Went with Dr. Earth again in 2015, exactly as described in 2014. I won't waste your time with another review....BETTER results than last year.....check out my photos taken 85 days after planting 3" seedlings. That's a 6-foot stockade fence, and those are 9-foot tall custom-made supports (necessary after last years' results). Yes, the plants are THAT tall after 85 days...Zoom in and check out all the tomatoes ripening.AMAZING! BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I added this to my potted plants and man have ...
June 13, 2017
I added this to my potted plants and man have they took off! All my herbs are pouring over the sides of the pots and my potted tomato plants are already taller and more full than years past. I will definitely continue to use this magic dirt
Wonderful Product
April 5, 2016
I added a cupful of this to all my houseplants. I just spread it evenly over the surface of the soil, and then gently scratched it in a little. Three weeks later, they are all looking healthier and growing new leaves. Even my citrus tree that has been giving me issues for almost two years is looking, dare I say, happy. This is light and fluffy and has an earthy smell (so it is not a problem to use it in doors). I'll be mixing it into my veggie garden too, as soon as it is time to plant my seedlings.
Earthworm Castings of The Gods.
November 2, 2015
I trust this brand. amazing how quickly a sick plant heals with this stuff side dressed and made into a compost tea for soil drenching and foliage spray. I also use it in all of my soil mixes and It never ceases to amaze me how much better my plants are doing. If you have a garden I would seriously recommend adding this to it each year. Here is a short documentary about Unco Industries you might find comforting when making your decision to buy Wiggle Worm or an inferior product. I planted a variety of tomato plants in the spring, they ranged from heights of 7' big boy to a 14' black cherry. The product always shows up with perfect moisture, no dripping or dry bags ever.
Blooms, Blooms and more Blooms
March 31, 2015
I feel pretty sure that the Earthworm Castings are what made these roses bloom so profusely.
Awesome Stuff.
February 10, 2015
Great for my organic vegetable garden. Along with other organic amendments, I grew grape tomato plants that were in the range of 14 feet high. Attached are some pictures. There were thousands of grape tomatoes from 3 plants. You can see that I didn't expect this kind of growth because I kept having to add tomato cages on top of tomato cages. Then, I had to add some poles to hold them up. After the growing season ended, I took a pictures of all the cages and supports.
Great for Roses
March 20, 2014
I was dubious about the hype of worm castings. However, last fall I bought some just for my roses, some of which are fairly newly planted--one to two years in the ground. Since dressing around the roses with these worm castings, I'm getting loads of new growth and basal breaks (new sturdy shoots/stems above the rose's graft) on both the older roses, the newer roses, and even the own root bands (small rooted cuttings). I would definitely recommend these for anyone with roses. The roses also started setting more buds this spring. I'm impressed! I will continue to supplement with alfalfa pellets as well as worm castings. Am now trying to start Japanese morning glory seeds in a mix with 1/3 worm castings. I hear this is a great starting medium for seed. Happy & successful gardening to all.

Dr. earth makes good products. It has been a terrible year for vegetables in NE Ohio but I know that the added microbes can only improve the soil. There isn't much we can do about the weather.

Good against Whitefly
March 4, 2017
I added this to some Hibiscus plants I keep as flowering houseplants with the intention of ridding them of Whitefly. It seems to have worked pretty well. The plants also perked up a bit a few weeks later.
High Quality, great price
July 18, 2016
Great additive which I get good results from every year. It is part of an amending mixture that I add to refresh the beds before parting each year. Also added are: azomite, kelp, coconut coir, and garden tone. I also like to make a worm poop tea to fertilize once the plants are established. It's is pretty much order free and a gorgeous silky black color. Nothing gross about it all. Love it!
Good product. Why is it cheaper to buy 2 15# vs. 1 30#?
May 24, 2016
I like this product just fine. Have ordered it several times in the last 2 years. Has been consistently good quality.ddI wish there was an option to buy in larger / bulk sizes. Heck, even the largest size they list o amazon is 30 pounds, and it's cheaper to buy 2 o the 15 lb size -- and you get it faste rwith prime shipping. That's just dumb.
This stuff is really like golden fertilizer
January 22, 2016
Who WOULDA THUNK IT. This stuff is really like golden fertilizer. I just started using this sh-- last year because my garden veggies were not doing so good the last couple of years.Anyway, I did some extensive research and I discovered this stuff called worm castings. So, I bought a couple bags of this, a small aquarium pump, some molasses and a couple of buckets, and wa-la, WORM TEA.I used this on my plants every two weeks and boy o boy what a difference it made. I would recommend this to anyone that wants some really good strong plants and you can also spray your yard with it too. Google IT. worm tea and get this s----tuff.I only gave it 4 stars cause 5 stars are meant for angels and gods

Average results
May 18, 2017
Based on the product reviews, I expected to see a beanstalk in my yard in a matter of days. That did not occur nor did any noticeable growth after several applications. Although I would not rub this stuff on my wrists before a first date, I cannot verify that it has a terrible odor as many reviewers stated. Perhaps I received a less potent package. At any rate, I will not be reordering as the price point did not produce enough results to warrant that. In addition, I disagree with reviewers who stated that a bag of this plant feed goes a long way. If you have more than a few plants, you will be hitting bottom well before you bite into pthat first ripe, juicy Jersey tomato.

Manure/Fish Emulsion Fared Better
June 23, 2015
I bought my first bag in February and a second in May. I bought a second bag to better test this product and I'm not impressed. I tried this on house plants, outdoor potted annuals, seedlings, mature herbs, and growing vegetables. Nothing is doing great and a few things are doing worse than they did in previous years. We had a late Spring but other than that, our weather hasn't been so off-base that it would keep things from growing as they should. What I expected was more vigor in my seedlings and plants and I haven't seen that. I mixed this product with coir and perlite using 10% earthworm castings for potted annuals and for potting up. In the vegetable and herb gardens, I used a pound or so in a 50 sf bed. I'm not seeing anything better than I had using rotted manure and fish emulsion. I'll finish using what I have left but won't be purchasing it again. It gets three stars because it didn't kill anything.
It was good for 2 months
May 17, 2015
It was good for 2 months.... Plants grew fast and lush. But later though weather is optimal and I water plants regularly, they stopped growing. And turning yellow.
It didn't work on my plants
April 30, 2015
Based on so many positive reviews you would think this stuff was magic but no magic happened with my plants.$20 for a small bag of worm dirt, I should have the best looking plants in the neighborhood but my plants are just doing average. It didn't kill my plants, that's a plus.I put some of these worm castings through a coffee filter to see if it had any black dye in it and it must not have any. The water went through the castings with no black residue at all and the white coffee filter was still perfectly white. If by some twist of fate my plants start growing out of control, I will update my review.

Watch out!! NOT organic!
January 28, 2016
I was almost duped. If you look at the bag and product description, it says organic AND natural ingredients, with organic being in big, bold letters. That's why it isn't certified and why it says its not for use in organic food production. Sneaky, sneaky!

Killed my plants.
May 16, 2017
Well the smell on this was super strong and my herbs died quickly after using Dr. Earth. I used this to fertilize my basil, cilantro, and parsley but after two hours my parsley started to wilt. I thought maybe it needed water, sadly I was not able to save it. Dr. Earth then took my cilantro, leaving me sad. Before it could pull off a triple murder I removed the basil and replanted it without the Dr. Earth. Lucky for us I was able to save it and it flourished without it. This stuff smells really bad, I wouldn't recommend for indoor use, even with the ratio given on the instructions this stuff still smells very strong.
Is it REALLY organic ?
March 30, 2015
It states it's ORGANIC, BUT... on the back it says, " NOT for use in organic crops & organic food production "VERY disappointing ! you can't have it both ways, it either is or is not organic ?

Kill my bell pepper plants
November 22, 2016
I want to believed that this is good stuff, but it kill my 13 bell pepper plants, the leaves burn after 3 days of applied earthworm, the fruits and new flowers drop, like other review said this earthworm making fungus to my bell pepper plants. by the way, this item smell like chicken manure, may be I got wrong item or something wrong about the wiggle worm I got.
Now just overpriced poop.
May 27, 2016
Let me be clear. I love this stuff and have purchased and purchased and purchased it. It is great worm castings and this stuff really works. Every transplant gets a few cups full in the root zone because it works. Here is my beef. The last bag I bought was just over 24 dollars for 30 pounds. I went to reorder and about fell out of my chair when I saw the price had risen to over 40 dollars for the same 30 pound bag. That is a price increase of 70%. No pun intended but that is a bunch of crap.As long as these prices are this extravagant I will be buying from another vendor.
Not every bag is a winner.
June 13, 2015
I've used this stuff a long time and never had issues, but the bag I got here was very bad. The microbes must have been contaminated because they diseased my plants horribly killing off one mother entirely. I don't keep sick plants when they're on the way out, too many concerns over cross contamination to other plants. I had to nurse the survivors for 2 months before they snapped back entirely.
Maybe my experience is unusual.
July 5, 2014
I dont know if I got a defective bag or what, but any houseplant I added a handful of this stuff to died. Everywhere I read say that shouldn't have happened, so who knows what got added to my bag.
