It has a larger diameter than others but the chances of your fabric getting pulled into and snipped are greater, so, keep a consistent speed and pressure and adjust to the amount of lint- thin fabric, light lint- don't press down just graze it, and so on.C. The lint tray can be a pain to open, but don't let it fill to full or it'll slowdown and the lint gets caught in the blades. SAVED MY SOFA! I was worried this gadget wouldn't work on such a deeply textured sweater with thick rope cables but it did a great job and my cardigan looks like new. It's a new sweater from J Crew I've only worn twice and it already has the little fuzzballs so its starting to look really cheap. This completely rid the sweater of them without tearing anything. Easy to clean and even without directions, I don't understand how you cant figure out how to change the blade. You unscrew the front silver cover and the blade comes off the small arm, and you'd replace it with the new blade. Easy. It works as promised and shipping was fast. We were afraid it might be too weak with only AA batteries but are really amazed with the length of time it runs. It also includes an extra set of cutting blades, giving it twice the life other shavers. Only minor issue was the amount of force required to get the lint cover (and batter cover) off the shaver, but a little sandpaper on the nub that latches the cover on solved this issue. Even though this can run off non-rechargeable batteries, it suggests installing rechargeable one since the included power adapter will charge the batteries for you. Most useful clothes shaver I've ownedMarch 15, 2015 This shaver is absolutely great! A large shaving area and a comfortable grip size make it the most useful clothes shaver I've owned. The fact that batteries can be recharged inside the unit (in other words, that you don't have to take the thing apart just to charge/change the batteries) is very comfortable. Keep in mind that you must purchase the rechargeable batteries, as they are not included with the product (try buying at least 2400 mAh ones). Perhaps my only disappointment is in the size of the receptacle that catches the shavings. If you have a lot of shaving to do, you're going to be cleaning it out quite frequently! Great product, A+ customer serviceFebruary 26, 2015 i recently bought one of these on amazon for use in a dry cleaning business...it came quickly and i had a small issue with the lint reservoir being cracked... that turned out to be no problem for the oem. i contacted them and in a day another was shipped to me at no cost to myself.this product has plenty of power to run through anything you have and when your (rechargeable) batteries run out of power they are easily switched out with fresh ones (while recharging the old ones if you don't have time to waste between charges plugging in the unit). for the average consumer this product will do perfectly... some other reviews mention the small lint reservoir, for me this isn't an issue. it is easy to hold and keep control over and isn't bulky or uncomfortable to handle. |

The plug is weird and its metal prongs are solid. I'm used to the metal prongs on plugs having holes in them. This made the plug for this shaver seem really cheap. It also pulls out of the outlet it's plugged into very easily because the prongs don't tightly fit into the outlet holes. But the shaver works very well and it's easy to empty the canister. It's off and I am looking for something to rub on the edges of the plastic cover to make it slide easier before I put it back on again. I read somewhere that the cover eventually loosens up enough so this problem is resolved. If it does, then this is great, but if not, this is a huge waste of money. |

That said, the problem is getting the plastic lint shield off to install the rechargeable batteries that do not come with the shaver. Then getting the plastic lint shield off again to empty the lint. I still have to have my husband to do it and a piece of the shield broke off while he worked to get it open. So yes, it works but I still can't get the thing open. |
