Grab It If Its What You Need
June 12, 2017
This is a plastic, lightweight, small, easy to set up, simple, 720p flat screen. It is for a kitchen counter, dorm room- somewhere you're close to it. It is for a low tech user on a budget. It has features enough to properly support this TV. The picture quality is excellent and the sound is good...for a flatscreen. If you view this close to it, you will love this. It is not a forever TV and once it breaks because you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it, it will be an easy donate and replace. Just read the reviews and features and make sure it suits your needs. Recommend.
I was amazed to find this Samsung for well under $200
April 28, 2016
All the TV sets at BJ's and other big box stores are too big for our living room, and they cost more than we wanted to spend. I was amazed to find this Samsung for well under $200. It has more ways to adjust the picture and performance than I have ever seen in a television. It uses less electricity in a year than our big old Sony used in a month.
Perfect for my Folks
October 15, 2015
My folks used to set up a small TV on the back deck in the summertime. Since the switch to digital, they have been unable to do that. I looked into getting a converter, and then it occurred to me that I could probably get them a bigger TV that was actually lighter than their old one (which was not a flat screen - anyone else remember those? lol).I was a bit worried about this TV because it seemed to good to be true in terms of size, weight and resolution for the price, but I've had good luck with Samsung in the past so I took the plunge. When it arrived I went over to set it up for them, and it is the perfect set for them. I combined it with a Fire Stick so that they could watch Netflix out there without running cables from one end of the house to the other, and they couldn't be happier. It is bigger and lighter (they carry it in and out of the house all of the time) than the one they had previously, and the resolution was also a number of steps up from what they were used to. The perfect TV for them. That being said, if I were to buy a TV for my brother, it would be something with more bells and whistles as he is VERY tech savvy and a bit of a sucker when it comes to peer pressure.
So far, great little tv

Got this as a replacement when the Vizio that I had ordered immediately had streaks of white flashes on the screen. Love Amazon for the easy return and refund, so I could get another TV. Once burnt by Vizio I had no desire to try another of the same brand. In addition to the faulty screen, that TV had the worst viewing angle I had ever seen...two people in a King sized bed could not both watch the tv without one person watching a grey screen! This Samsung, which I now have had just over a couple weeks, is WONDERFUL. Beautiful picture...I did not even have to make any adjustments at all. Deep blacks, good contrast, easily viewed with no loss of picture color from any angle. Sound OK for a flat screen. In my bedroom, don't need extra speakers. One peculiar thing is the on-TV off/on controller. It is hidden on the back of the TV, lower right side area, and is a toggle switch. Not real convenient. Would rather have actual buttons on front. For that I would subtract half a star. On the back, there is a little square box with a hole in the center. Below that box is the headphones emblem. I assume that is a headphone jack. I attach a photo

I bought this tv for the kitchen. It has a very clear picture and good color. It has a lot of adjustments if you need them. I have it in a cabinet about the same size as the screen therefore the speakers are blocked. I installed external speakers but if out in the open they would be alright. For a kitchen or a bedroom it would be hard to beat for the price. It has a very secure base. This is the first Samsung I have had and highly recommend it. Also the remote has lighted buttons for a dark room.
Love Samsung TVs!

I don't have time to write a lot of reviews. When I do, it's either because I'm really pleased or really peaved about a purchase. In this case, I just have to put my two cents in about this TV, and Samsung TVs in general.Picture QualityWe have several LCD / LEDs in the house, both Sonys and Samsungs (including this one - the UN28H4000). The picture quality of all of them is beyond amazing with sharp lines, vibrant colors and deep blacks. All are great for viewing everything from the news to football games. I'm not really a "gamer", but they all seem to display the action from my Xbox nicely too.Sound QualityWhere Samsung separates itself is in the sound in these smaller TVs. With a big screen, you're almost sure to want to combine it with some kind of separate sound system (surround, sound bar, etc.). But darn it, I didn't want to HAVE to buy a separate sound system for a small TV that's going in the kitchen. Samsung is the only brand I've found that comes with adequate speakers, which seem to be full-range as opposed to most others which emit treble and mids only. I wouldn't say this Samsung sounds "great" (we do have both a Bose surround system and a Sonos sound bar in the house). But it has a nice full sound that's certainly *better than* good enough for watching - and listening to - whatever show we're interested in while having dinner or a midnight snack. All the other brands I've heard sound like overdriven headphones when turned up beyond a whisper, and that includes Sony, LG, Visio and Toshiba.True, this TV is not a "smart" TV. You won't be streaming Netflix or your favorite TV from Amazon without a secondary device. But it doesn't - as others have stated - claim to be a smart TV in this ad, and that's not what I was after (however, in defense of those other reviewers, it does show up as a smart TV in a comparison table I found here on Amazon, and that is incorrect). So for what it is, I give it 5 stars!

I've loved mine though
January 4, 2017
I got this on black friday, which is when I hear they use cheaper discount hardware to lower the prices. I've loved mine though, and I haven't had any issues with it. Great picture, and I just use rabbit ears for local OTA channels and a chromecast for Netflix.
Beautiful viewing

This arrived damaged, Amazon quickly replaced it and had it shipped immediately. I returned the damage one two days before the new one arrived. I purchased this for my elderly mother who recently moved to assisted living. I am amazed at the quality of picture. Fits perfectly on an end table. We chose not to hang it as we're responsible for any damage to the walls. Amazon has a photo to determine the distance and size for viewing. I found that very helpful when purchasing. Price is right. My mother and I are very pleased.
Super TV!
July 23, 2016
Excellent TV. So light weight was easy to install. Picture quality is very good and sound it pretty good too. It set's itself up pretty much plug -n- play! I pushed enter on the remote I think 3 times and she was good to go. I installed this TV in my camper. The thin edges made it possible in the space I had to work with. The light weight made it easy! I got this from Amazon's Used Like New so was a killer deal!

Bought this for my younger son's bedroom. Compared to my older TV in my other son's room, this is fantastic. Size-wise this is so much nicer. It takes up far less room than the other TV (both are 32" tv's). It is very thin and very stable. The picture quality is very good. I would definitely buy this again.

I have this TV hung on my office wall in case of a community emergency or wanting to watch my soap operas. It is a decent picture and a standard 32" size. There is no connectivity, only one HDMI port, and only 720p image, BUT for what i use it for it is awesome. This is a great TV for a child's room or playroom or even the office. IF you are intending to watch movies and videos with great quality, save up and buy the higher end model, but if you just want to relax and watch a show, I highly recommend this TV.

A lot to like, with a few cons to consider
December 13, 2016
I needed to replace an old, cheap small flat-panel TV that had begun to make an irritating hum.I didn't want or need a large TV for the space, and the 28" screen is perfect in my little study. The picture is sharp and Samsung put in a lot of ways to tweak the picture to suit your taste, the kind of content you view, and how the room is lit. The audio from the built-in speakers is only so-so. It's a bit tinny and muddy, and sounds rather muted, despite all the talk in the literature about DTS and Dolby. It may be partly due to the speaker placement -- they face downwards -- and the fact that I have the TV on a stand. Maybe the sound would be a bit better if it were wall-mounted with nothing beneath it. I don't care so much about the built-in speakers, since I'm using some external powered speakers that actually sound really good for their price. It was easy for me to set up. My DVD player connects via the component input jacks, my Roku player goes into the HDMI, and my simple powered speakers (like for a PC), plug into the headphone jack -- though with an adapter, I could use the headphone jack and hook it up to an amp or receiver for analog, or I could use the optical out to connect to the digital optical input of a stereo system. If I had two different HDMI devices -- like my old Dish receiver and my Roku -- I would have trouble, since my old receiver had no pass-through ability and both the Roku and Dish use HDMI. I'd have to buy a switcher at a relatively significant added cost, considering the cost of the TV. Since I rely on Roku now, I don't have that problem.I've noticed that there are some reviews that say that this TV doesn't have a headphone jack. It's oddly placed on the back of the TV (not the most convenient way of plugging/unplugging your headphones!), but it's there. Since I have speakers plugged in and not headphones, the placement is okay for me, but if you sometimes listen through headphones and sometimes through the TV's speakers, unplugging the headphones each time you wanted to listen though the TV's speakers could be awkward depending on how your TV is placed. If you have it mounted on a wall, it would be particularly awkward.I was torn between giving this four and five stars, because while the picture is great and I am able to do what I want with the set (have a DVD player connected via the component jacks, connect my Roku using the HDMI input, and have external powered speakers connected using the headphone jack on the back), I am not thrilled with the selection of inputs and outputs on this TV. Most televisions these days skimp on the available jacks. This one has only optical (digital) audio out and a headphone jack for output.I'm very grateful for the headphone jack, since many manufacturers don't even bother with that and only include a single digital output to send the audio to an external player or speakers. This means that anyone with older, but perfectly good, high quality sound systems cannot easily connect their system to the new TV. Fortunately, Samsung does include an analog output in the form of the headphone jack. This means that a) the audio output can be controlled using the TV remote (the digital audio output is a single level and the volume must be controlled by the audio equipment -- either a second remote or by getting up and manually adjusting the speakers), and b) the audio can be redirected to any sound system that takes the common RCA audio input by just using an inexpensive converter to convert the Left/Right plugs into a single headphone plug.If you have a lot of equipment that you want to plug into the TV and you have more than one device that you need to plug into an HDMI jack, you'll need to get inventive. Although the Samsung UN28H4000 does have two HDMI inputs, only one of them is a "true" HDMI jack. The other one is a DVI that only accepts digital input. This is fine if you are already hooking the audio up to another set of speakers, but not good if you need to use it for two different boxes that both use HDMI. If that's the case, you'll need to get an adapter that will extract the audio, and then you will have to send the audio to a set of speakers (or possibly to the single set of RCA audio inputs on the back of the TV -- not sure if that would work or not). Also, if you have an old VCR with plain composite output jacks and a DVD player with component jacks, you can't plug them both in at the same time, since Samsung uses one of the component inputs as the composite input. So, for input, without buying any adapters, splitters, or switchers, you can have one device that uses the full HDMI video & audio, one that uses just the video HDMI (such as a computer) and that plays its audio through something else, one that uses the coax input, and one device that uses either component OR composite input jacks. If you need more than that, you'll need to look into switchers or splitters, unless you have a device that can act as a pass-through for other devices. There's also a USB port which will do more than just display photos as a slide show. You can actually load videos onto a USB flash drive and play them. There are basic video controls such as you'd see on a DVD player, but nothing very advanced. You can sort the videos by folder, select a video, play it, fast forward, pause, rewind, etc. It works very well for plain-vanilla video playback, and I didn't find that the flash drive I used got very hot, though some drives might. I used a Samsung 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Fit (MUF-64BB/AM) .Even very inexpensive, low-end flat panel TVs used to come with a myriad of input and output jacks up until relatively recently. Over the past few years, manufacturers have gradually begun to drop more and more options for consumers to use their TVs with other equipment. This is great for folks who make money on after-market solutions, but hard for consumers, especially any who might not realize that there are ways to hook up their other equipment with their new TV and so either junk the equipment to buy new, or return the TV and buy a size and model that they hadn't wanted simply in order to get the right number of inputs/outputs to use it the way they want to.Because the component/composite and coaxial jacks are also on the back of the TV, if you wall-mount it, you have to make sure that you have sufficient clearance for your plugs, which stick out about 2" (approx. 5 cm) for me. I don't have anything plugged into the coax, but I assume that will need decent clearance as well in order to avoid a sharp crimp in your cable.I've uploaded some pictures of the available jacks so that people know what's there -- it's a genuine headphone jack, not just a 3.5 mm audio out jack, which may be a line out that does not change volume with the TV volume. These are the inexpensive speakers I'm using with this TV: GPX HT12B 2.1 Channel Home Theater Speaker System (Black,3)
Very happy with my purchase
September 12, 2015
The picture on this TV is very nice. The sound is good (I'm using movie mode for that). I'm using an indoor antenna, so it's important to me that the on screen program info is large enough to be readable -- it is. Once I realized that that I needed to use the "Auto" function to program the channels, the TV picked up all of the channels it missed during the initial set-up.The remote has reasonably large number and function buttons, and also has a button to light up all the buttons which is a nice feature since I have this TV in the bedroom. Moving through the menus is fairly intuitive, and the instruction sheet is helpful enough. My only "complaint" about this TV is that the power cord does not seat securely enough into the back of the TV -- although I don't imagine that will be an issue now that I have everything connected, and the TV won't likely be moved for quite some time.I had, a few months ago, purchased a Vizio smart TV of the same screen size as this Samsung (not smart) TV. I returned the Vizio largely because the on screen program info and menus were so small that I had to be just inches away to read it. Comparing the Samsung to the Vizio of the same size: for me, the Samsung wins hands down with regard to sound, picture, ease of use of menus, readability of info, and remote size/functions.
Works great. All you need to plug & play
December 30, 2014
Returned this item because I didn't realize it needed to have 4" of space on both sides to keep it cool. The cabinet I was putting it in did not allow for that. The back of the TV has inputs for RCA cables, and old-school cable as well.

My first after 4 years lost volume. So I rebought this , quite the same as the first, fingers crossed that history doesn't repeat itself.Price is excellent and so far- fingers crossed, I am happy with the TV.One disappointment is the poor system they use on the base attachment. It is (base part) is not of the quality of most PC monitors. If the finger crossing fails, I'll be back. gb
Appears to be the right choice for my application
September 10, 2014
I like to be specific when I write reviews here as too often the reviews of multiple models/products get blended together. This review is for the Samsung UN24H4000 24-Inch 720p 60Hz LED TV; Amazon ASIN: B00KSBBGA4. I purchased this product on Sept 6, 2014.I have only used this TV for one day and at this time only have it connected to an older digital cable box via a coax connection. I did use the Component connections for a DVD player and the picture quality is excellent. I will have a Mini Tivo box installed early next week and following that will have an HDMI cable tv connection. I will update my review following that.****** UPDATE: ******* I now have this TV connected to a Tivo Mini and the picture quality is totally excellent. If you are concerned about 720 vs 1080 I say don't worry. I have a four-year-old Visio 22" 1080 TV in another location and the picture from this Samsung with 720 is just as good if not better. The first thing I would like to say is that this TV does NOT have any input ports on any side panel as depicted in the photos. All of the ports are on a squarish panel on the rear of the TV and all face to the rear. I point this out because if you plan on using a USB device (such as thumb drive) to view media, you may want to obtain a USB extension cable, because if you have the TV against a wall, or in an enclosed cabinet like I do, the rear panel may not be easily accessible. (Note that a USB extension cable is NOT the same thing as a standard USB cable.) Another reason I point this out is the Amazon photos for this product clearly show a side panel with HDMI and USB ports. I am certain that the photos come from Samsung as the same photos are shown at BestBuy.Com and Beach Audio. The recessed area for a side panel is present on my set, but is smooth plastic. Both the shipping carton and the product label on the rear of the TV clearly identify this TV as a UN24H4000 model. It appears that Samsung has revised the panel configuration of this model to match the separate UN24H4500 model. Both the Setup Guide and Quick Start Guide show the position of the ports correctly.Set up was relatively simple, with the exception of a great deal of frustration mounting the TV to its base. This model comes with three documents: A Setup Guide; a Quick tart Guide; and a User Manual. All three of these are fold-outs. Even the User Manual is a fold-out, is 16" by 22" in size when opened, printed on both sides, and printed in tiny print. Fold-outs are fine for the Setup and Quick Start guides, but I would much prefer a booklet style User Manual.Mounting to the base takes three screws installed through a relatively deep cavity on the underside of the stand. The small opening and depth of the cavity makes it very difficult to aim the small screws into the small screw holes. I had to use an set of angled hobby tweezers, and even that wasn't easy. A magnetic bit screwdriver would make it easier.I read in another review here on Amazon that you must be extremely careful with configuring the TV when you first turn it on because you only get one shot at it. That person returned the set after a botched first attempt. I too had some difficulty with a setup selection as I did not know the difference between STD, IRC, and HRC for the cable setting. I was easily able to totally reconfigure by pressing the Menu key, scrolling down to a gear-shaped icon, which is Plug & Play, then pressing the Enter key. By the way, I later learned that the vast majority of cable tv provider's signal are STD. The IRC and HRC are noise reduction signals used mostly with older cable technology.Other reviewers have complained about the sound from this model. So far I find the cable tv sound quality and sound volume to be acceptable for my purpose given the fact that it has rear facing speakers and I have it in an enclosure. I expect the sound to improve when I have an HDMI cable tv connection as the sound quality from the DVD player is excellent given the small speakers. By the way, this model has rear facing speakers because it is designed with a thin bezel. Due to that takes up space only slightly larger than the screen. I am able to fit this 24" TV into a tall entertainment center's upper bay that was designed for stacked A/V components. Putting it up high like that is a real plus for the bedroom. An older Visio 22" TV with a larger bezel and front mounted speakers did not fit into that space.

Great quality for the price
February 8, 2017
My husband and I wanted a simple flat screen, no frills, bells and whistles, and we were looking for a great price. The picture quality is really nice, sound is effective; we purchased it for our bedroom. I'm giving this a four out of five star rating because my husband did have problems getting it mounted to the stand that we bought along with it, if you purchase this TV and plan to mount it on the wall, be prepared to go and buy longer bolts to secure it. Other than that great quality for the price!

A Good Value, but USB Problems
July 9, 2016
Good TV, especially for the price. My complaints bring down the rating only one star, due to the TV being a bargain. My complaints are basically two: 1) very limited file support through the USB port (doesn't play mkv files, for example, just avi and mp4 as far as I can tell); 2) when you go to the menu when a movie is playing through the USB port (for example, to change sound options or something), you exit the media player completely and go back to the TV, thus losing your place in the film -- and actually this happens very easily if you press the wrong button on the remote. So, if you really want to take advantage of playing files off a hard drive or USB stick, you kind of have to buy a separate little digital media player for around 30 or 40 bucks. Other than that, a great TV.
Very nice TV
June 23, 2015
we're please with the purchase. I think I'll buy a second remote control, however, because I have to use a button on the remote to alternate between functions. The $5 remote from Walmart can't change the function. That said, the picture is crisp and the sound is good - we're not using a sound bar. It was easy to set up.

Good looking, inexpensive little LED HDTV. More inputs would have been nice but two HDMI seems to be standard on lower end models. The picture and sound are adequate for the price range, but nothing to write home about. This TV was purchased for a young child and fit that use perfectly, if buying for an adult then spend a few extra bucks and get a 1080p set, maybe even a Smart one if you don't have a device connected that will fill those needs.
Excellent TV but External Power Supply was Unexpected
May 21, 2015
This is a wonderful TV for the price; the picture is as good as any, the sound is very reasonable and it has a good selection of inputs. I could probably want one more HDMI to be ideal, but I did know there would be two when I bought it.I have one reservation: It has an external power supply. Yes, this keeps the size of the TV down but I have all the other cables hidden in the wall except for this one. I can't hide the external power block behind the TV because I have a flat mount. I didn't find this information on the Amazon page so I'm a little disappointed.

No eco sensor, small nick on screen
May 23, 2017
I dont think this has an eco sensor as advertised. This feature is great for the the TV automatically dimming when in low light (i.e. turn off lights for bed). I do not see the option in the settings menu. My newer model Samsung has the setting and it works well. Also arrived with a small nick on the screen.
Cheap price, average picture quality
March 29, 2017
I bought this TV because it was a good price and it was going into a room where we don't do our "main" TV watching. It is mounted on the wall and not very heavy so that was easy to do. But, the old addage of "you get what you pay for" seems be true here. The picture is just average and not very clear. I thought a newer TV would be clearer. Bottom line: cheap price, average picture quality.
good value for low cost, just nothing to swoon over
March 15, 2017
set up in our kitchen for occasional viewing so it is fine for that. picture is OK but not great viewing angles as it can get washed out more than expected off-axis. sound is really miserable though so we're adding powered speakers to help hear it over typical background kitchen noises. can't really complain at this price point, and the picture is better looking than big box no name sets. all in all, it's a good value for the low cost.
Nice for Small Area

Good enough. The sound however is not so good - certain frequencies cause the TV to resonate and no amount of EQ twiddling can fix it. No audio outs means you have to live with it. Picture is great, price is good.

3/5- used for Grandma's TV
May 23, 2017
Fine TV for the money, but the strange remote functions left my elderly grandmother confused on usage. 720p is a fine resolution for a 32" screen- seeing as anything under 40" seems to be getting phased out by most manufacturers. Overall pleased- just wish the push for 1080p and a regular remote were options for this screen size and model from Samsung.

Not Sure Yet
August 27, 2016
Got the tv yesterday. Pros: light weight, easy setup, plug & play, price/brand. Cons: needs firmware update, back light makes everything so dark, colors have to be pumped up, lots of shadowing especially evident on text. Am wondering if I should get a more expensive model or will I still have the same shadowing problem (its really noticeable & annoying). May return it for a newer series.
It's alright, nothing to jump up and down about
March 19, 2016
Volume does not go very high at all. Picture quality is good. I guess ya get what ya paid for. Samsung has definitely gone downhill in quality. I have another flat screen Samsung, same size that I purchased 9 years ago, and it still blows the new one away.
OK....but
December 4, 2015
Great picture, but the sound only goes to 25 making it difficult to hear sometimes with background noise. I wonder if this is why I got such a good price on a TV set in which the box had already been open. I wonder it this TV is actually one someone else returned because of the sound problem?
Fabulous picture, foul sound
August 20, 2015
This has a very good picture. And the sound is truly terrible no matter how much I monkey around with the possibilities. It's tinny and buzzy. I'm trying to find something I can plug into it for auxiliary speakers. I know a sound bar is recommended but I've been trying to juryrig other speakers without success as yet.

I use this in my bathroom so it is okay, but i don't like that it won't power on/off with my Directv remote. I have to use the TV remote. I have researched this and it appears to be a distinct problem with this model of TV, so if that is a problem for you don't buy this TV.

Bought this TV to replace a Toshiba in the kitchen. Sound was so bad we moved it to the shop. Replaced it with an LG from Target.Pros: Picture quality same as LG. Viewing angle better than the LGCons: Sound quality. No amount of adjusting would make voices sound like they do on other sets. Far worse than the LG.
Although others thought the sound was good, it was not
April 1, 2016
Although others thought the sound was good, it was not, very tinny to point of annoying and it has no ability to add an external speaker. We have since returned it for a full refund. We went to Best Buy( so I could listen to other TV's) and bought the 28" version of this same TV and the sound is much MUCH better. I will say that both were easy to set up and other aspects were fine but not that sound.
Picture looks nice, everything else is disappointing. But it fits in a small space.

Pros: Nice picture quality. Very light weight, easy to move. Thin profile is nice and it looks nice.Cons: Hanging TV on a wall mount makes HDMI, sound, antennae inputs inaccessible. You have to plug everything in before hanging TV and there is no access to them once hung. Unless you get one of those TV wall mounts that pulls away from the wall and moves around.Cons: Amazon Fire Stick is stuck behind the TV once it's hung on wall. Poor reception.Cons: Very poor control over picture size. Some picture size settings don't work and are grayed out. Can't access "zoom" feature when playing blu-ray, dvd or watching tv. Zooms are grayed out. Picture either has bands of black on top & bottom, or worse a distorted picture either compressed or expanded and with bands of black on top and bottom. There is no way to fill the screen with a movie without distorting the picture.Cons: Sound is terrible, turned up to 100, that's all the way, it has a very low sound level and poor quality, very tinny sounding. No controls for base, treble, just 4 equally bad sound settings. It's very difficult to hear voices when watching movies and the "Clear Voice" setting just makes spoken dialogue trebly and tinny, not louder or clearer. All my other TV sound levels are usually at 14-36 depending on what I'm watching. The only reason I'm keeping this TV is because it's the best of the worst at this small size which I need for in my kitchen.
You usually get what you pay for,

Well, and in this case I should have known that.130 dollars for a 24 inch flat screen is a great price.Only two problems. One: the picture is "Milky" and you can see the pixels. I don't believe it is a true 720p image. Two: The audio is awful. It reminds me of the transistor radio my parents had and the sound level is just not there.I will not be using it.I just wish I could find a 24 inch TV that had a high quality picture and sound.

When I got it looked fine. The other day I noticed two eraser sized blue spots in middle of the screen about 8 inches apart. Don't know if that means stuck pixels or dying screen. Purchased refurb, its obviously not.

Buyer Beware
February 20, 2017
The TV was advertised "as new- still in box". The "box" was in tatters and held together by gobs of sticky tape. The front black frame of the TV was scratched/blemished in several places . The TV worked. I kept it ...how the heck was I going send that "box" back!
Design of 2 flimsy base/pods aren't as stable as needed ...

Design of 2 flimsy base/pods aren't as stable as needed. The merchant's policy for return-product cost is almost equal to purchase price which is outrageous. The t.v is back in its shipping box. I haven't seen or heard the quality of image, sound, etc., to see if it squares with specs &/or ads.

I bought this TV last year. It was mentioned in the site that it has in-built Wifi but very last figured out that they are referring Roku stick connection to the TV. I also have picture issues with this TV that is text renders with shadows when connected to the cable.

Really good tv great picture and sound but extremely flimsy
Poor sound ... tinny, no-bass; poor and hard to get color right
September 26, 2015
Color was hard to adjust to get accurate. Still not happy with true to life color. Agree with another critical review that sound is poor, no bass and sounds like tin box. No option in menu to increase bass or treble. After two weeks, sound of certain voices was distorted, reverberating ... at only 60% volume strength. Amazon was excellent in troubleshooting, having me unplug power supply, reset power button, suggest maybe it is the HDMI cable, etc. We'll see.

No it did not meet with what I purchased. The volume would not work on it. I was not able to exchange it, instead I had to return it and get reimbursed. I received the dollar amount I paid and hope I received the rest in Amazon credit as I used Amazon gift cards.
Awful quality
December 5, 2016
The worst picture quality I have ever seen on an HDTV flat screen tv. images not clear. Strange on -screen movement issues even after adjustments. AWFUL. Returning this for a SONY.

Refurbished TV craps out just after return window closes
February 12, 2016
Since the item was refurbished this review is more for the seller than the product itself - both HDMI ports were spotty to begin with and become unusable the day after the return window closed. Now, it random shuts off for no apparent reason. Buyer beware.

I was extremely disappointed with that Samsung TV
October 13, 2017
I was extremely disappointed with that Samsung TV! It was cheaply constructed, and on the display it would incorrectly represent the input ports used, and every device I attached to it would only display pictures and videos in black and white; no color whatsoever, and that was the proverbial stick that broke the camels back!
