I've found these green dip 5B sticks are my favorite for my electronic drums
September 7, 2017
I've found these green dip 5B sticks are my favorite for my electronic drums. The weight, balance, and thickness work perfectly for me, and the rubber has the perfect grippiness without being stick. These will be my go-to sticks from now on.
Great for the practice pad.
July 23, 2017
This is just personal preference for a rank amateur using an e-kit. After trying these I still prefer the 5A Anti-vibes for general use on the e-kit, and don't think the heavier, thicker 5B Anti-vibes do anything different, apart from possibly beating up the pads some more. Though they might be more comfortable if you have hands like a blacksmith. However, I have found them very useful on the practice pad, which in turn makes playing the quiet e-kit that much more enjoyable. So it's perhaps worth getting a set of 5As and 5Bs. And with the 5Bs at less than $10, they're at least worth a try. Either way, for me, the Anti-vibes are the way to go on an e-kit; no more wrist pain!
Zildjian 5B sticks
February 4, 2017
This is my grandson's first 5B sticks. He usually uses 5A. Since he is still learning, he enjoys trying different things. He does like these.

Zildjan builds with quality, as always. The logo rubbed off relatively quickly, but these *are* drumsticks, so that was relatively inevitable. The sticks themselves are wooden with nylon tips.
great quality for the price
April 9, 2016
Bought a couple sets of sticks for my aspiring drummer and he said these are his new favorite. They don't show the dents and the grip is great (from the mouth of a 12 yr old, he is not very descriptive). Great price too. We will be ordering more when we need to.
Dipsticks!
January 19, 2016
They're great sticks and would love another pair in another size, also! Perfect for practice, very comfortable, but the dip can come off if things get super intense behind the kit (i.e. gripping hard, heavy sweating, really using the sticks harshly) and get scratched by nails.

Great for youth sticks.
August 16, 2017
Perfect fit for my 9 year old just getting into drumming. No cracks, and very thick coating. Would buy again
Perfect size for kids
May 21, 2017
My son is four and started drum lessons. These are the perfect size sticks for his age. So glad I bought them. He takes them everywhere!
These are nice and lightweight
December 30, 2014
These are nice and lightweight. We purchased a drumkit that came with sticks, but I wanted some that matched. I don't know much about drumsticks, but these are a lot lighter than the ones that came with the kit which, I would imagine, would help any child that's attempting to learn how to play. They also seem a lot more durable than the standard sticks that came with his kit.
good size for a smaller player
May 23, 2014
recently purchased a full size starter drum set for my two boys. got these sticks for my son who has smaller hands. they were the right choice as they are slightly smaller and lighter allowing him to practice with sticks that are balanced for his size.rock on!
Replacement set
April 16, 2014
This is a replacement set for a friends drum set and they are way higher quality than the ones they originally had. The boy who we got them for loves them more because they match his drum better than the plastic red ones they replaced.
Great for those practice pad sessions in front of the TV, where you don't have a lot of space in the chair.
May 31, 2013
Sure, they're sticks for kids. But they're also great for adults, for practice. I bought them for practice sessions where the purpose is to get muscle-memory-training repetitions in by the hundreds, sitting in a chair or on the sofa, in front of the TV, with a practice pad. They're short enough that they aren't clumsy as you sit in your chair or on the sofa; you don't have to move your elbows way back to accommodate stick length. And they have real drumstick balance and weight distribution. So they work great for practice in small spaces. They're really good.

Bought these as a gift. Drummer was thrilled with the grips. Not overly grippy, just a thin coating that is just enough to stick to one's hands.
Good sticks
February 2, 2017
Good drum sticks. I haven't had any problems besides the maker label running off but that's to be expected with most drum sticks.
too much friction.
November 1, 2016
may too grippy. got some blisters after using these for a day, haven't used them since.
Nice sticks but only good for electronic kits
February 27, 2016
I really love how these sticks feel but since they are maple they can be pretty fragile. I broke cracked my first pair by just doing a very light rim shot on my alesis dm10 drum which does have a real drum hoop. So I would say these perhaps wouldn't last very long on an acoustic drumset especially cymbal hits.
I like these drumsticks
September 14, 2015
I like these drumsticks...son likes them as well. The only issue is how fast the black paint is scratching off them. Can't totally blame the sticks as I don't necessarily see how my son treats them but they are definitely rough looking in 5 weeks!

Since I really didn't expect to get them at all, I guess they're fine. I ordered something else and saw these on my bill. Then suddenly they were in my home. I actually wanted pink, but for an unexpected item, I guess blue is fine. We'll have to see how well they'll work for a 4 year old.

February 7, 2017
Perfect length for my toddler's hands and he's been using them a lot. One thing I've noticed is the blue paint has started flaking off anywhere on the stick that has taken impact.
Great sticks, just regular sized not kid sized.
July 18, 2016
These are great drumsticks. I guess I just expected them to be a lot smaller. They are pretty much the same size as regular drumsticks. I bought them for my son who is two and I just wanted something smaller than the regular sticks we already have and they are the same size. Good brand, good quality and the color is nice. As long as you aren't looking for a smaller size these are great.
Little longer than expected for my 3 year old to be able to use.
July 26, 2015
These drum sticks are a little longer than I expected as kid drumsticks. They are a bit too long for my 3 year old. The paint, quality and weight all seem good. I am pleased with the purchase, we will just wait a little while before we really give them a good workout on the drums.I would suggest these for 4 year olds and older.
Durable and Attractive
November 26, 2012
Every bit as solid as their adult counterparts but painted to suit the taste of young players. At $3-$4, they're a great value!

Looks good and feels good.....BUT

Rubber grip material wears off too fast. Needs to be thicker.
Leaves black marks on cymbals
February 20, 2016
These look cool and handle just fine, but it will leave black marks on your cymbals.
Weak
February 12, 2013
These worked good for about 1 session before they broke. I wouldn't buy again. I didn't notice too much a difference.
I bought this for my Daughter
February 11, 2013
It was OK! But why put such a lousy paint job on something that will fade after use(especially on your hands). the sticks work well BUT (the paint) will peel out on your hand and mark your instruments.ALSO please note the sticks handle were made of wood! and the only part nylon were the tips OK!!!In the end I repainted the stick and re-clear coated it and no problem after that.
Marks up your equipment
March 15, 2012
These our great sticks; duable; feel great, however the black does come off and will mark up your cymbals and drum heads. You maybe better off buying the regular drumsticks and then taping them yourself.
Caused blisters
December 15, 2009
I bought these sticks for a "metal" drummer. I thought they would be more comfortable to use than the traditionall all wood sticks, but after an evening of "banging" he ended up with a few blisters. Not sure why....perhaps he just wasn't used to the rubber grip or their "non-slip" character? I think maybe the rubber caused his fingers to be a little moister than usual ? Try them, but don't buy a bunch, just in case...

Too much paint

Strong odor of paint. I would not recommend this for kids or anyone. I thought it was stained like other colored sticks.

If your favorite color is blue and you're a small, gentle drummer...
October 20, 2013
My youngest son just got into the drums and his favorite color is definitely blue, so these seemed like they'd be ideal. My only concern is now that I have them in person, they seem awfully thin near the tip so I'm wondering how long they will last. They are the result of some early Christmas shopping, so only time will tell. Compared to the wood sticks that came with the set (GP Percussion GP50BL) he's been banging on, these look pretty dainty. Nice paint job though.

they eel alright. big problems are how easy they break and after the fist time you play with em, your cymbals are covered in black paint from the drum sticks very bad ticks
Didn't feel sturdy, tip fell off mid-drumming.
September 2, 2016
So, I recieved these yesterday, ordered 2 pairs. Today I started playing, casually, as I would on any other day and the tip of the drumstick broke. I was playing a little bit hard, but the fact that it broke just after 1 day disappointed me bad. It's not even half the drumstick or something like that, the tip just fell off.
I loved the grips
August 14, 2016
Wood is too soft. Should've looked before buying. Broke after 3 practices. I loved the grips, but the wood was just too weak.
Do NOT buy

These drum sticks broke on the 1st drum session second pair of zildjian drumsticks I would not buy again bad experience with that brand.

These sticks split then broke within a few days of playing with them. First bad experience with Zildjian sticks. Hope it was a defect and would love if I could get a replacement pair.

Paint already splotched and rubbing off onto the cardboard packaging
December 10, 2013
This is part of a Christmas gift for my nephew so I was quite disappointed to see large areas of very splotchy/sloppy paint all around the middle sections (so some of the word printing looked very smudged and bad quality), as well as the blue paint already very easily rubbing off onto the cardboard sleeve that the drumsticks came in. As if someone had slipped the sleeve on while the paint was still slightly wet or something. Anyways, I just wasn't prepared for such a sloppy job for a supposedly good brand of drumsticks. We'll see how long the blue paint holds up with regular kid use--I'm not betting much on it.
Disappointed.
February 7, 2013
I think the tips are too small. The sticks should be as thick as an adult drumstick but shorter. I'm afraid these will make a hole in the drums.

not what i thought
February 5, 2014
These sticks broke fairly easy and leaves black marks all over your cymbals. Probably won't be buying these again ever
Vibrations overload
September 5, 2012
I figured I would give a set of these a go, since I have been using the black tipped sticks for quit a while and besides delaminating over time, I have had good luck with them. So I took these to last nights gig having never tried them until the first song. Glad it was just a run through! I have never had such serious vibration in a stick before. They went back in the bag and I finished the night with my old black ones. I have a pair of purple dipped sticks that have not yet arrived, hoping they won't be as bad. The only reason I did not chuck these in the trash is to give my son a shot at them. I won't use them again.
Huge disappointment.
January 3, 2011
I ordered these as a stocking stuffer for my son, who has been playing the drums in a band for 5 years. They are very cool looking, but one of them broke after 5 minutes of play. I expected a LOT more of Zildjian. I feel like I threw away money and my son was very disappointed.
