This has got to be one of the best Christmas presents to date
May 3, 2016
Santa got this for my 2 kids and 1 big kid (husband)(Xbox One 1TB Console - 3 Games Bundle (Gears of War: Ultimate Edition + Rare Replay + Ori and the Blind Forest). This has got to be one of the best Christmas presents to date! Love the XBOX One. We don't only use this to play games but to watch videos on Amazon Prime, and some other Video apps that are downloaded. This has become the main console in our house. We can search for movies fast, this has replaced our cable provider. (money saver) We have had no issue with the hardware and this system runs smoothly, and we have not had this over heat at all. This is a very good system and love everything that came with it such as: This bundle includes: 1TB hard drive console, full-game physical discs of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Rare Replay, digital download of Ori and the Blind Forest, newly updated Xbox One black wireless controller with a 3.5mm headset jack so you can plug in any headset, 14-day trial of Xbox Live Gold, AC Power Cable, and an HDMI Cable. This is one of the best bundle sets out on the market. Great system for kids especially with all the games included they will be busy for months trying to play all the games. 1TB hard drive is a must to have on any system. The more room the better in my opinion. This is backwards compatible with some of the XBOX 360 games. The parental controls is a nice feature on this system so if there is a game you don't want your kids to play you can set that up.
Xbox One is the Goto Console in our home

My son had to have an Xbox One because Dad has one, and quite frankly, I don't do split screen. This was a great buy even with all of the black Friday deals out there. Gave it to him for xmas and he lit up like my front yard at Christmas time. It doesn;t have a Kinect, but I don;t really want him having one until he gets older. I'd definitely buy this again. With all of the apps and stuff available now, it's great because we don;t even have cable anymore. The wifi on this is excellent as long as you open all the ports in your router for xbox live.
Best Xbox bundle for your money!
January 19, 2016
BundleVery pleased with this bundle. Ori and the blind forest(digital download) is a very challenging and fun game. I bought this in time to play the Gears of War ultimate edition(disc) and receive the free digital downloads for all the other Gears games for Xbox 360. I think you had to have played Ultimate ed. before 12/31/15 to recieve them, so keep that in mind. Well worth it with just the Gears package or Ori by itself, but you also get Rare replay(disc). Rare replay has a lot of games, some cool games, but not much replay value. I did enjoy playing viva piñata, banjo, and perfect dark. Haven't even made it through all the others and there are a lot. Unless there's a new game out you just have to have this bundle can keep you busy! Also I'm glad it has the 1tb hard drive because I've used about 400gb with just the bundled items and a few of the free games with gold downloads. I know you can attach an external hard drive but buying the 1 tb should give me some time before I have to. Overall I couldn't be more pleased with this bundle!ConsoleAs for the Xbox One system itself, I have went from PS1, PS2, PS3, to now owning both PS4 and Xbox One. I'm more in love with my Xbox One. I love using it for Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube. I think the Xbox interface is very user friendly. Both systems are amazing for game play. I do think Sony makes a better controller. Xbox controller is still nice, but Sony's controller just feels so natural in my hands. Both systems have apps (Smartglass app for Xbox and Playstation app) that allow you to use your phone/tablet to control the system which is great for any streaming services. Both apps have a multitude of other features and are a must have for either console. Ultimately you can't go wrong with either console. I'd suggest you consider the console exclusive games as well as what console your friends play on. I've heard others say this and I totally agree.Lastly, as always Amazon is a great company to deal with. Another retailer had this same bundle with free two day shipping right before Xmas, and after contacting customer service Amazon upgraded me to next day shipping!
Great Xbox One bundle for families!
December 27, 2015
This is a great bundle for families or gamers with varied interests. Ori and the Blind Forest is, hands down, one of the most beautiful games I've ever seen. My 7, 8 and 11 year olds are absolutely enthralled with it! The Rare Replay bundle is a lot of fun for the nostalgia and also fun for kids. Gears of War is great for more mature gamers. On top of that, when I bought the system, I also received Fallout 4 for free. When received it, I was very pleasantly surprised to find Fallout 4 included a free copy of Fallout 3!Basically, I got a great deal @ $399: 1TB storage, 4 top quality standalone games and a collection of legacy games! It gets even better, though! I bought my system a week before Black Friday. When Black Friday specials came out, Microsoft offered this same system for sale at $350. I sent a support request to Amazon asking if they would honor the Microsoft price and they did! They immediately submitted a refund to my credit card for $50. What was a great deal @ $399 became an amazing deal @ $350.This bundle is fantastic and I'm thrilled with Amazon at the deal I got for it!
Here are the 30 GAMES in RARE REPLAY, offered in this holiday bundle.
November 23, 2015
HERE IS A LIST OF THE 30 GAMES LISTED IN THIS BUNLE under RARE REPLAY..... Note: I actually ended up buying the Rise of the Tomb Raider 1TB XBOX BUNDLE which has the two new Tomb Raider game DL & addl. DL content but this was the other bundle I was choosing from. At the time I'd asked someone here what the other 30 games were that came with this and someone was kind enough to give me a link. So I figured a lot of people might want this information before purchase.I found out that RARE REPLAY is a 30th Anniv thing XBOX release in Aug 2015. It can be purchased separately as well and there is a video of this particular aspect of this bundle at the XBOX site (under Rare Replay).1. Battletoads2. Banjo- Kazooie3. Perfect Dark4. Buying guide for Xbox One bundles
November 4, 2015
I wanted to create a guide to help those interested in purchasing an Xbox One, since there are so many bundles, and offers change constantly. I'll attempt to keep this up to date as the bundles change. This is NOT a comparison to Playstation 4 or Wii U.A short list of features that may interest you, shared by all Xbox Ones (more details can be found in product descriptions and Microsoft sites) -HDMI pass through. You can hook up an HDMI device to the back of an Xbox One to view the content from that device without changing inputs or leaving the X1 interface. This allows for split screen viewing and if a cable box or the official TV tuner, you can view the channel guide, watch TV, and set recordings. It is backwards compatible with some Xbox 360 games. This is great for those with backlogs (like me...) or those who want to revisit finished games without having another console plugged into the wall/TV. In the fall, owners of publisher approved disc or digital 360 games will be able to play them emulated on the X1. Some X1 games also include their 360 precursors with purchase for play on the X1 in case you missed them. Rainbow Six Siege includes both R6 Vegas Xbox 360 games, for example. List of games and other info here -[...]It will stream content to Windows 10 devices.Xbox Live Gold now applies to households instead of individuals; meaning that multiple accounts on the same console can have access to the same features but have differing account restrictions (I.E. parental controls). So you can let your kids play Garden Warfare online, but not Gears of War.External USB 3.0 storage. This is great because, 1) you don't need to open the console and replace a hard disc to add storage, just plug in and the X1 will format the drive, 2) even disc-based games have compulsory installs and can be upwards of 50GB each, eating storage space quickly, 3) external drives can be spacious and cheap, and last but not least, 4) USB 3.0 is actually faster than the internal hard disc interface. This means that a game on an external drive will load faster than one on the internal drive, usually by a significant amount. The bundles-The current bundles include a newer controller that has a standard 3.5mm audio jack built in and output both game and chat audio through it. Legacy consoles shouldn’t be expected to be widely available at the suggested price (and some I haven’t included, due to their rarity at this point). You may have better luck at other outlets finding the legacy consoles (Microsoft Store, Dell, various brick-and-mortar stores). There are no functional differences. All bundles include a controller, HDMI cable, chat headset (with exceptions), and a 14 day Xbox Live Gold trial membership (paid $60/year service to play online and download the Games with Gold, a monthly rotation of full games you're free to download and keep (forever for 360 games and as long as you have Live Gold in active subscription for X1 games).Current bundles (with rating based on what you get for the money. Star and letter ratings are intended for the suggested price listed next to the bundle, not whatever current prices are.) -Spring Note - It's hard to recommend anything other than the Kinect bundle (if you want the camera peripheral), the Eilte (for the controller and faster HDD, if that's most important to you) or the Spring bundle (sold at Gamestop or Microsoft Store) which includes a 1TB console, Halo 5, Ori and the Blind Forest, Rare Replay, and Gears of War Ultimate downloads. Until the end of the month, the retail price of all bundles is $50 off. If you want to know more about all the rest, see the descriptions below.Rainbow Six Siege 1TB bundle. $399. Includes console, new controller, disc version of the title game and downloads of the Rainbow Six Vegas Xbox 360 games, with a chat headset. A new class-based multiplayer shooter with the excellent tactical precursor campaigns. A good bundle. A- rating. The Division Bundle 1TB bundle. $399. Includes console, new controller, download of the title game. No headset, no legacy games. B- rating.Quantum Break 500GB White bundle. $349. Includes console, new controller, and downloads of Quantum Break and both Alan Wake 360 games. No headset. B+ rating.Name your Game 500GB bundle. $349. Includes the console, new controller, a download of one of Forza 6, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Gears of War Ultimate, or Rare Replay, and no chat headset. The choice of games is nice and the selections are high-quality, but 500GB will fill very quickly at this point, and without a headset or bonus games, this is one of the lesser value bundles. B- rating.Xbox One Elite 1TB bundle. $499. Includes a console with a 1TB hybrid SSD and hard disc for quicker load times for the items you access the most and the Elite controller, which has replaceable/customizable sticks, buttons, and triggers for the professionals or tinkerers, and DOES include a chat headset with a matching black and silver color scheme. While the internal storage on this will be better than the standard HDDs in other X1s, the performance increase PROBABLY won't match external USB3.0 drives, due to the continued use of the SATA interface. There's little information about the size of the SSD partition and many hybrid drives don't allow you to choose what content is on which partition. The elite controller has been released to wide acclaim (modifiable professional controllers can easily go for twice as much), but is scarce on its own at present. If you want the best/most storage and best controller out of the box, this is the bundle for you, but you won't get any games with it. B+ rating. Please note that the bundle with two controllers does not include a second Elite controller, but a regular wireless one.Kinect 500GB Bundle - $399. Includes 500GB console, the Kinect camera, a chat headset, controller, and three Kinect-focused game downloads: Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals and Zoo Tycoon. Finally another Kinect bundle! The X1 UI is made better and more easily navigable with the Kinect, and there are fun, energetic games to be played with it. A rating. Great for those who want to move and enjoy motion and voice controls, but it has little storage. Bundle with FIFA on separate page is even better for the same price.Holiday 1TB Bundle - $399. Includes 1TB console, Gears of War Ultimate Edition disc, Rare Replay disc, and Ori and the Blind Forest game download, the new controller, and doesn't appear to include a headset. A rating. Something(s) for everyone in this bundle, with 36 games included. Now replaced by the even better Spring bundle (see above).Halo 5 Limited Edition 1TB bundle. $499. Includes custom console with Halo sounds, and custom controller, with the Halo 5 Limited Edition (steelcase, guardian figure, game download and add-on content). Why a limited edition would come without a physical game is beyond me... It may not bother some, but it will upset many. This is a higher premium than the Forza 6 bundle (charging an extra $100 for an extra $40 package). For Halo aficionados/console collectors only. C rating.Gears of War 500GB bundle (also in white). $349. Includes Gears of War Ultimate Edition download. This 500GB model includes the new controller, but does not include a headset. B- rating. This is the most discounted bundle in sales and has many other offers with it, if you can catch them.Legacy bundles-Fallout 4 1TB bundle - $399. Includes 1TB console, Fallout 4 game confirmed to be a disc (!), a download of the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3, and a chat headset. B+ rating. Two open-world RPGs for grownups.Rise of the Tomb Raider 1TB bundle - $399. Includes 1TB console, downloads of Rise of the Tomb Raider, DLC, and its predecessor, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, and doesn't appear to include a headset. B+ rating. The Tomb Raider reboot from 2013 was pretty good and I expect the sequel is even better, but I haven't tried it yet. Great for adults who love action adventure.Lego Movie 500GB bundle - $349. Includes 500GB console and the Lego Movie Videogame and no headset, apparently. C+ rating. Game is a cheap one and good for kids, but little value in this bundle compared to others.FIFA and Madden 16 1TB bundles. $399. I'm grouping these together because other than the type of football you prefer, they are the same. Both include either the latest Madden NFL or FIFA soccer game download and a year of EA access, a paid ($30/yr) service which allows Xbox One users early access to EA releases, extended demos with progress that can be saved if a full game is purchased, discounts on EA games, and free access to the Vault, currently 14 full games. Great if you like EA's games. A- for each.Forza 6 1TB Bundle. $399. Custom Forza-inspired console with racing sounds and custom (new, with 3.5mm audio jack) controller, and download code for Forza 6 and extra content, and a chat headset. A- rating, though some may not like the custom design and sounds.Hope you found this useful.

Once you start playng, it's hard to stop...
October 31, 2016
I've seen people playing this game for a long time now and decided to give it a try to play before going to bed and in my free time. Well, BE AWARE it causes ADDICTION!! First time I played it I was supposed to play for half an hour, maybe an hour if it got interesting... The game is SO ENTERTAINING that I ended up playing for 6 hours in a row and just because it was already 5am, I had to force myself to stop. After work, all I wanted to do is continue playing.I just love this game!!
I have 4 kids ranging from 2 to 8 and they all LOVE playing the game
June 26, 2016
Oh Minecraft, how did you become so popular? I have 4 kids ranging from 2 to 8 and they all LOVE playing the game. Building houses, riding the cart, visiting the villagers, fighting the creepers and zombies... This game has definitely been a life saver when I need to get things done. 3 of my kiddos are toddlers, so I usually am cleaning and they're right behind me messing things up. If I let them play Minecraft, they could play for hours if I'd let them. I can get the house cleaned and things put away before they make a new mess.
simple yet addictive
April 16, 2016
Minecraft for Xbox one is a great addition to your Xbox one console. I originally purchased this gamefor my son to play. He wanted me to play with him which I really didn't want to because of the pixels of the Minecraft games. I'll tell you what, after I got the controls down I was hooked. My favorite part of the game is mining. You never know what or who you will find. You can build houses with pretty much any type of material you can think of. You can actually build anything you can imagine. This is an awesome and very addicting game. Give it a try. You'll be surprised.
We love Minecraft for the computer
February 18, 2016
This was a Christmas gift for my children this year. We love Minecraft for the computer, Playstation, and Xbox One! This version is just as great as all of the rest, the only issues I have is having to repay for all the skins/texture packs all over again each time I upload (or purchase on disc). I wish there were something to change that issue, but other than that, my children love to build new structures day after day during their electronic time.If your children love Minecraft or anything similar, this is a great addition to your Xbox game collection!
Fun Game!
February 2, 2016
The game is truly a wonder of game-design. It features simple, intuitive, and interesting mechanics easily learned on the fly, yet it features an emergent depth of game play. The graphics are lo-res, yet charming, and reminiscent of old style 8-bit games, with a 3D touch. For the price, this is one of those games that you will not regret ever getting as before you realize it, you'll have spent hours and hours digging "just one more tunnel. " I think my daughter would play this game all day everyday if I let her. It's fun because she can play with her friends online with XBox Live. Hours and hours of fun and entertainment.Build with your imagination! Minecraft, the best-selling game on Xbox 360, is now available on Xbox One. Create and explore your very own world where the only limit is what you can imagine – just be sure to build a shelter before night comes to keep yourself safe from monsters. Play on your own, or with up to 4 players split screen, or 8 players online.
Think mega blocks, but on your tv running around.

Excellent building game and free roam. Kids love it to death building their own houses and hunting. Overall a good and not graphic video game that kids will enjoy for hours.

Worth It
June 22, 2017
The Xbox One 1TB Console - 3 Games Holiday Bundle was definitely worth it for me. I didn't really like the 3 games that came with it though. If you are considering getting a xbox one, I'd recommend you think about the games you'd like to play first. I mainly got the xbox one first over a ps4 because I know I'll play most of the multi-platform games on it (I enjoy the xbox one controller a lot more than ps4). I am planning to get a ps4 later down the road, but not right now since the only game I really want is future tone.
which tells me poor signal engineering
September 1, 2016
Console is a little laggy for a new generation console. I own a Wii U and a Ps4, and this is honestly the slowest of the bunch. The controllers can't have much, if anything, obstructing them from the console, which tells me poor signal engineering. Competitively I can bring my Wii U tablet through 2 walls and 30 feet and still have a great signal, but 10 feet and my knee in the way often disconnects the controller. The store is a complete mess, the Xbox 360 store was brilliant and easy to access. I hardly can navigate or even search for a game I might like. Microsoft really dropped the ball on the quality of content they could have provided, and instead wanted to go for a voice/motion-gimmick controlled all-in-one device that few people actually wanted.Get the system for its 1st party games and a few others, but don't expect too much out of this generation. It's predecessor has much more to offer for much less, even when it was new.
Awesome machine, but setup is a pain.
August 22, 2016
I only have a few issues with this item.1) Only one controller, and a second is extremely over-priced.2) Ori needs to be downloaded using XBox Live, so you need to use your free month to get it. A disc isn't that expensive, so they should have sent one.3) The interface, while impressive, is very intricate and a little too complicated for some younger kids. Also, setup is extremely time consuming. DO NOT wait until a child is waiting excitedly to play to go through setup. Do it first, then let them see what they got. My daughter was impressively patient during my infuriating fiasco of a setup that made me late for work. The unit needs to connect, update, update the controller, games must install and update, passwords and accounts set up, etc. I have new gray hair from that experience. That being said, the machine is awesome. The games and controls are amazing. Well worth the price and trouble, but it could be a little more user friendly.
You better plan WAY ahead if you want to play a ...
June 27, 2016
This was bought as an upgrade to an Xbox 360 and so far it's ok, but the wait time to play a new game disk is unacceptable. You better plan WAY ahead if you want to play a new game disk. The wait time is hours and hours or overnight, and then the huge updates can take forever to download too. We were really spoiled by the 360 in that regard. The graphics are very nice, and the ability to use the HDMI passthrough for the Xbox 360 means we can have both consoles available to play (which is helpful if you are waiting all night for a new game to load). Am also not terribly happy with a game which was purchased at the same time that will not let you access levels/options advertised unless you have Xbox Live Gold (Thanks, Microsoft).
It has its ups and downs...
March 10, 2016
So we hymned and hawed about this purchased for some time, just as I have about reviewing it.we have had an Xbox 360, actually we have 4 of them in our home, our kids use them, and we use them for games and streaming, WE LOVE XBOX! However, we really hadn't seen anything about the ONE that made us feel like upgrading was a must, and its always good to let them work out the bugs and come down some on the crazy prices after they first drop these new system, in my opinion... However the 360 from our living room finally died, and with 3 others in the house... buying yet another 360 seemed kind of silly SO we gave the XBOX ONE a shot, these are my thoughts so far...So about the bundle. Very good deal. best price around! trust me, I price shop EVERYWHERE and at the time of purchase this was the best deal for the price you could get. 3 games, plus the 1 tb system WHICH after using the XBOX ONE I feel you will need the 1 tb system, it feels like it needs to download stuff all the time!! I don't yet feel like were missing the KINECT. if you want to hook it up to cable or be able to tell it what to do, you will want the Kinect however.About the System itself... OK this is where Xbox lost me a bit. I like... the games we have played on it look AMAZING... I love the added blu ray option HOWEVER I would love to note that its kind of glitchy. which brings me to the system as a whole seeming kind of glitchy. Its not enough that I would say its a deal breaker, and being Microsoft, I am sure they are working on it. The blu ray player doesn't work when not connected to the internet?? So id call it half a blu ray player?? With the XBOX ONE everything is "apps" so sometimes you open a game or Netflix or whatever and the sound doesn't work so your have to "quit" the app and reopen it and then the sound is fine, which took me a bit to figure out.Small quirks, and I still am so happy to have it because as the updates come these "glitches" will work out and I am sure it will be great!! Just a little concerning after dropping that amount of money, some people may not be as forgiving of these small quirks I'm thinking??
Love the XBox One, but have 2 minor complaints.
February 9, 2016
I’ve had the Xbox One “Gears of War Ultimate Edition” now for a few months. The graphics are far superior to my old Xbox 360 and for the most part I have really enjoyed this product. But I do have a couple of minor complaints. In order to play any games, you have to sign in, something I NEVER had to do with the Xbox 360. I understand signing in to play multiplayer online, but why must I sign in to play a single player game? The other complaint is the download speed when I install a game for the first time. I never had that problem with my old system. I will say that once the game has been downloaded, it loads very quickly. Those 2 small complaints aside, I really enjoy playing games on the Xbox One. I would suggest any potential buyer purchase the 1TB Xbox One because it should give you plenty of room for your games.

Minecraft Game on DVD
November 10, 2017
The Minecraft Game was really worth it's money. My son loves it!I am debating though, if it would be better to own it online as you don't have to worry about it scratching up and stop working properly. Our disk gets very tricky at times and will not start up at times.

and my daughter is 7 and they both really enjoy it. Anything that let's siblings play together quietly
May 9, 2016
My son begged me for weeks to get this game. He has played the demo on his Xbox quite often and wanted to be able to access full game content. Now he loves it. He plays out constantly. Minecraft, as I understand it, is a game where you have to acquire resources and user these resources to build various things in the game. The first thing to build, for example, is a house so that when day turns to night you can remain safe from the monsters. My son is 9 and loves this game, playing it constantly, and my daughter is 7 and they both really enjoy it. Anything that let's siblings play together quietly, and be able to work on their collaboration skills is a great thing. This particular game came on time, early even, was estimated to arrive Monday and got here Saturday instead. So that's always a plus.
Seems enjoyable to kids.
April 20, 2015
I don't get it, but then again I don't know if I'm supposed to. I got this for the kids, and they seem to enjoy it. The graphics look like something I would have played in the early 80's. If I had a choice I'd buy it again. My son will play it for about 40 minutes to an hour before having enough for the day.

Okay
August 20, 2016
This console is okay, but very disappointing. The Wii U and PS4 outperform this thing. I don't like how big it is and it still has a huge power brick. I currently have my Wii U on top of it at about 1/4 the size, and the Xbox One controller also on it by the Wii U. It's sad that my Wii U loads faster and seems to have better graphics in my opinion. The Xbox One also seems to freeze up sometimes. The worst thing about it is that there's not enough exclusive games for it. Wii U and PS4 have a ton of exclusive games, and that's why I have all the consoles. If a game is on multiple consoles, I just get it for PC because it will look better, load faster, etc. But the Xbox One mainly has 3rd party games available on other consoles, so no help there. I liked how it came with 3 free games. Those kept me busy. Probably the best thing about this console is the controller life is amazing. Probably because I don't play it much, but I've played it long enough to finish quite a few games, so it's amazing. My PS4 controller dies pretty fast. It's a decent effort by Microsoft, but as many would agree, disappointing.
Should have just stuck with our Xbox 360...
July 30, 2016
I bought this for my son finally after reading there was now backwards compatibility allowing the 360 games to be played on it. Unfortunately, I should have done more research on that! Turns out that only a small portion of the 360 games have been made available to play on this console. My fault, I know-lesson learned. The part that REALLY aggravates me is the controllers. Oh they will function fine, as long as you do not want to use a headset & chat. If you are wanting this ability, well, good luck! There seems to be an issue with these controllers, as I have read many complaints from other people in miscellaneous forums. My son didn't initially start out using the headset, but once he did, he was able to use a non-Xbox branded pair bcz there is the universal 3.5 mm port. However, the console kept stating that it could not detect a microphone. Hence, my son could not talk to his friends. We tried both controllers (the bundle came with 2), and received the same message. We tried the headset on the PS4 console, and it works just fine. We went through every troubleshooting tip, but didn't get it working. So, by this time, we are thinking that you must need a Xbox One headset. So we finally get one, and nope, same thing. I tried to go through Amazon to either return/replace the controllers, but apparently my return/replace window closed on July 19th. Wow, it wasn't a problem that was evident at first, but I guess we're just stuck now. I'm glad that there is no room for discussion on an item you have dropped a couple of hundred dollars on...so very thrilled at the moment about this. I will probably end up having to buy 2 more controllers (I have two sons), and that should be another hundred or so! Yippee! Buyer beware-do your research on this console/controllers...we never had issues like this with our Xbox 360 or PlayStation.
I miss the X-Box 360 days.

Meh, these games kinda suck. Gears of war is Ultimate yet it still doesnt fit a 16:9 display?Rare replay is fine if you like old dated games and graphicsori is bori..the console itself is ridiculous - you have to have each person who ever uses your xbox MAKE a new outlook email account just to be a "player" - in other words, there is no simple "player 2," "player 3," etc. Everyone has to be tied to an email address so Microsoft can get access to your information, and hopes that you accidentally leave a box checked that says "send me promotions" when setting up your profile/email account. It's so stupid. I can't believe video games are headed in this direction. It used to be a private affair, and that was nice. It was calming. Cathartic. Now it makes me fear for my privacy.Mortal Kombat XL is okay, but it's not included in this bundle; I bought it on its own.Pretty much everything else sucks so far. Would love to hear suggestions but I'll probably think the game sucks.I miss XBox 360 days.
Besides the flaws, it's ok.
June 21, 2016
3 flaws of this console:1. Controller keep failure in connections. It's really a bug. ---dislike compare to xbox 3602. The UI/system still seems a premature product. Navigation is hardest I've ever used. ---dislike compare to xbox 3603. Limited compatibility to xbox 360 game is a joke. Nothing I owned works. I do not want to keep two game consoles but this reason made me to.
Always downloading
January 23, 2016
Don't expect to play right away. This thing is always downloading stuff. Took me 3 hours after I set it up to even play a game. It's always downloading game updates and multiplayer stuff. Slows the Internet way down and I end up leaving to do other things rather than play with it because of the downloading time. Lots of game content you have to pay for. I miss the days of buying a game and getting everything rather than consistently spending money for new updates and more in game content. It's not a bad system but I'm not an avid gamer, I just like jumping on for 30 min or an hour here and there but this system doesn't mesh well with that play style. If I had 8 hours to binge athen maybe it would be worthwhile to sit through the downloads and multiplayer updates and downloadable content prompts.
It was the wrong Xbox package
December 31, 2015
My brother and I were totally excited about this Xbox. So we waited for 3 days and when it finally came it wasn't the right Xbox bundle it didn't come with the Gears of War, rare replays or the QOri and the Blind Forest game. It came with one controller, and a Halo digital download pack, which took 3 hours to down load! I do not recommend buying this package for the price it's total crap.

Falls short but is still a good game.
August 23, 2016
Though I loved Minecraft on the computer I feel as if the Xbox One version falls short. The controls are confusing and many of the things I loved in the original PC version are not yet compatible with the Xbox One version. However it is a lot of fun and if you have friends to play with it is even more exciting!

The console its self is fine however the controller only works when it wants to and turns off in the middle of use. Not a battery issue.
Load times - wow
July 26, 2016
If you're a casual video game player and already have an Xbox 360, don't bother with this system. Load times are crazy and the terabyte of memory is nothing cause all games are 40gb and require 10gb updates. I spent the first full day downloading the gears of war game then another day downloading the other games. ALL games have to be downloaded regardless if you have a disk. The final straw was when I turned on the console and it made me update my controller. Xbox 360 is totally sufficient for shooting things for 20 minutes a day or for a few hours on the weekend. Graphics are awesome but not good enough to justify waiting 3-8 hours to play a game
Slowest Xbox ever

Really nice picture that is the only thing good with this thing.it is supper slow, takes forever to download a new game everything this thing doe's takes a long time, I think they over complicated this Xbox
problem about this console
June 6, 2016
I open packge and power on Xbox one insert the game disk and then it's not to work except the noise "cha, cha……” from the disk driver
Console looks great, too bad it doesn't work.
April 5, 2016
Received the shipment, plugged everything in and it all fired up. Went to go eat, came back to do the initial set up, and the power supply had fried itself. Contacted Microsoft device support and they wanted me to send back the old brick, and pay them $35 dollars. I am in a forward deployed location, and don't exactly have access to a Fedex.I ordered a replacement off of Amazon and hopefully when that gets here everything will be fine.
Xbox was fine but game discs did not work. Microsoft support did noting to remedy the failed game discs.
December 25, 2015
Xbox seems to work fine. I ordered the Gears of War ultimate edition with Ori and Replay. The gears of war disc does not work it won't install guessing they packaged these together due to cheaply made discs the gears of war did not even come in its own case it came stacked in the same case as the replay game not even in separate slots both discs were stuck together. Pretty crappy way to package a $350.00 item. However the Xbox and controller do seem to work just fine, should have saved the $50.00 and just got no games with the basic model. All future games for me will be digital as they can be shared on multiple consoles you can't share disc based games on two consoles at the same time.

BUY THE DIGITAL VERSION
February 12, 2017
Let me say Minecraft is a 5 star game! Love it, everyone in the family plays it! The reason I'm giving it two stars is because when you buy the physical media version for an Xbox One title it still installs everything on your hard drive taking up room, but you have to insert the disc to run the title. Of course two weeks after Christmas the disc stopped working with no apparent scratches or defects. It felt better for my son to open a present that actually contained something, but please spare yourself the headache and just buy the digital version from the beginning.
Xbox gold/live required!!!
December 28, 2016
If we are talking about getting the shipment from point a to point B amazing job I love how smoothly the whole process was but, I love Minecraft the whole idea is quite stupid. Once you get the disk and try to play a normal game nope, then it makes you either purchase Xbox live/gold or you have to stick with playing tutorials!!!

Blocky Graphics Were Just Too Much
January 27, 2015
I heard great things about this kiddie-looking game, so I figured I would give it a go in spite of my hesitation. But in an age of super defined graphics the blockyness of Minecrafts design is just too overdone. There is a reason games no longer have blocky polygons - they don't have too! I dig retro, I had several Atari's in the 80s and early 90s and loved them to pieces, but this is ridiculous in an age of realistic graphical rendering. I wanted to like Minecraft but I just couldn't.
Glitchy on Xbox one

The Xbox has to be reset every time my son plays this game. It needs an update or patch to fix this on the Xbox one.

And it turns on by itself just to waste more power
August 5, 2017
What a giant turd. Every time I turn it on to play a video game, it takes three hours to update. And it turns on by itself just to waste more power. Biggest waste of money ever. Microsoft has really pulled out all the stops to make this the worst gaming consul ever! I'd give it zero stars if I could.
Nothing but trouble
December 26, 2016
Very disappointed. We have had nothing but problems with this XBox since we got it. It freezes often and when reset it, it often takes several resets to get it to come on. It just sits on the green screen with the words "X-Box". The dots move but it goes nowhere. Then when it finally loads, it freezes. Very frustrating for a 12 year old who received this as a birthday present. Should have returned it the first time it happened.
One crisis after another...
October 28, 2016
After owning for only four short months, it crashed and wouldn't let me go to the start up screen. I had to reset it to factory settings because none of the fixes on Microsoft's website worked. Upon resetting my console i was greeted with another problem... the console wouldn't recognize any of my games. It would recognize movies but not a single one of my games. And now to top it all off i cant even sign into my account any more. It just takes me to a black screen with the text that reads "something went wrong". I gives me an error code but when i typed it into the Microsoft help page, nothing came up. So finally i tried to send my console to Microsoft so they can fix it, but i can't do that either because every time i try i get another error message. I spent way too much money on this console for it to just not work.
Nothing Should Be This Painful
October 20, 2016
My son loves the game - when it's actually working. Unfortunately, getting it set up was incredibly painful. We needed to download new firmware and the entire process took several hours with tech support help - over multiple days. My son was patient but I wanted to throw the console out the window. My son has now been using the console for 30 days and in the middle of playing last night the power went out. We can't get the console back on and it appears the power supply may be bad. Per Xbox site they want me to pay $50.00 for a new one. Seriously? Owning a product should not be this painful. I strongly suggest you run to the PlayStation and avoid the headaches.
Gift for husband

Don't buy this item..... I purchased on June 10 as bday gift. It popped loudly and died on Sept 12 (3 mos) it supposedly has a 1 year warranty. However, Microsoft says return for repair......but once repaired you only have a 90 day warranty. What about my other 9 months of warranty!!!!!

Just doesn't work.Buying an Xbox One was a nightmare. The disk drive was loose and the system wouldn't power on. All in all, this was one of the worst purchases I've made on Amazon in my 7 years using the site. You are better off spending a few extra dollars at Walmart on an Xbox One that actually works out of the box.
