Have to say it has held up.But then again were not kids or teen agers. Were senior citizens and are careful of these kinds of products. But I would recommend this product.

I knew the price was good but the quality of the case considering the cost surprised me. The print is well done and the fit is excellent. Overall i would definitely buy another one when needed.

Beautiful, sturdy, and lightweight case. I love the vibrant colors and it fits my ipad mini 2 perfectly...it has 3 credit card slots and 1 long slot for whatever. The magnet clip is strong so you don't have to worry about it not being able to hold the cover down and the cutouts are in the correct spots for the volume buttons, headphone jack etc... when i get bored of this case I will surely be back to buy another style. I totally recommend.

Got the one with the pink roses and I am throughly pleased with this case. Strong construction, quality materials and so pretty! Shipped from China but it arrived weeks before expected, yay.

I just received this today when I had been expecting to get it about a week from now. It came very quickly. I bought my first iPad case from Best Buy, the brand is Modal. I'll just say I paid way too much for a case that is already close to falling apart and hardly protected my iPad at all. This has a leather-type of exterior that is hard and protects the iPad really well. It came with a charm type thing and a black stylus. The only thing that is off, or wrong, is the color scheme. It looks duller and not at bright as in the picture. It's not a big deal for me but it is quite the difference and if you like really bright colors this probably isn't the best case for you. Very nice case overall!

My husband got this to protect his iPad mini when he is working and wants to use the iPad to listen to music. he said that it looks so much like one of those cheap composition books that no one would ever think there was an expensive ipad inside of this cover. He said that one time, he needed a piece of paper for something and started to grab the notepad before he remembered that it didn't actually have paper inside of it !

I really like this case, the iPad is securely enclosed, with a velcro tab. The outer corners are protected with a leather like material, which adds very little weight to the case. The case is very attractive, and most of all - easy to find in my big two story house! My previous black case just seemed to make the iPad magically dissolve into the furniture, etc. I get many complements on the design, and frankly was having a hard time selecting a design, this site has so many to choose from. The case is very well constructed, a great buy for the iPad.

I purchased this item in November 2015 and it is holding up very well. There is an open spot in the back that makes the camera accessible and there is also an elastic where you can store a stylus. The front cover is perforated so that you can bend it backwards and there is some time of magnet feature that helps to keep it shut.I get a lot of compliments about this cover and people always say, "I thought that was a real composition notebook." The only slight drawback is there is not a great to rest it if you want to use it regularly (portrait mode). The design is sufficient so that you have easy access to all buttons and my iPad mini is very secure in the case and protected from drops. This would not be an ideal case if you are constantly want to take the iPad in and out of the case. There is a tab at the top that you tuck behind and it is a nice tight fit.

Excellent inexpensive cover! Very happy with this purchase. My iPad mini (first generation) fits snugly and the screen is fully accessible as are all the ports. My charging cord fit with no issues. There is an opening for the rear camera lens. The iPad is locked in with a Velcro tab so I don't worry about it slipping out of the case. I wanted a decent cover that would provide protection when I slide my iPad into my bag. This one does a very good job. I really can't speak for the stand strength as I don't really use my iPad in this position too often. It works fine when I do though. What I really like is the ability to fold the cover completely back when I'm reading. The padding is sufficient and built well. I do recommend this case.Just purchased my second cover in a pattern - still love these cases & for the price, you can't go wrong! The new patterned cases do not have the pebbled leather feel to them that the solid cover does but it is still very nice. My original orange case is still going strong and only purchased this one to change things up once in awhile.

I bought this for my wife, and now I want one for myself. This is a great case. It's simple and useful.The iPad mini air (latest version) is snug in the case and you still have access to all the buttons. In fact the button I was most concerned about getting to, the on/off (sleep/awake) button on the top right hand side, is easily accessible. The magnet sleep/awake feature in the cover also works great.The case is made so that the edges of the screen are exposed allowing for all the "edge" swiping that iOS has. Like pulling down the notification center, or swiping up the control panel, or changing apps by side swiping. The holes on the back for microphone and camera are also a perfect cut. It also protects all iPad surfaces, edges, corners, etc.

I purchased this case and was happy with it except for the fact that the iPad wouldn't always wake from sleep mode when I lifted the cover. The vendor contacted me asking if there was anything they could do to improve my experience with the purchase. They offered to send me a replacement free of charge. I was pleasantly surprised with their customer service and the desire to make sure that I was happy with my case. They shipped out a new case the next day and I received it today. The new case works perfectly. My iPad wakes when I lift the cover. I am very happy with my new replacement case. I appreciate that Fintie wanted to make things right. I will definitely do business with Fintie in the future.

This iPad mini case is well-made. I love the design. I also found a iPhone case that matches which is icing on the cake.

This iPad case is great! The only reason I took off one a star is because my son just wishes it had a little flap or button to close the cover flap! Other than that, very good case. Looks very cool, like the art and graphics on the case.

This particular floral pattern is an old favorite of my wife, so we were very pleased to see it as one of the choices. The description says the case is made of "PU leather"; the case appears to be made of (and strongly smells of) plastic, through and through. So I am not sure what is going on, but I am giving fair warning: don't expect a leather case.The sellers return address is from a city in the PRC called ZhengZhou, which somewhat explains why the delivery estimate is so long. The customs declared value of the product is set at 2 USD, which is probably right. We were happily surprised to receive ours in about 3 weeks.The color is subdued, the fit is excellent. All ports and function keys line up correctly, but the 'stand' will eventually let the case fall flat, because the edge has nothing but a smooth plastic surface to prevent it from sliding closed. The little green stylus helps keep the fingerprints at bay.Nonetheless, for the money spent and time waited, it is a very nice product.

I've always been a Fintie fan but I've never tried their folio cases before so I thought I'd give this one a go. I love the design, it goes well with the other Fintie cases I have for my other tech gadgets. And I love the way the stand works on this case and I love the way my iPad is secure and safe in this case. That said, I'm just not sold on the folio design. It's hard to reach buttons and access the whole screen. But if I was ever to buy another folio case it would definitely be this one,

Pros: So for all you retro types, this is the most ironic cover you can get. It's a good quality piece, offering a good rigid front cover that is well aligned, and magnetic to enter sleep mode. It's been durable over three months of daily use, and looks great still. It's also camouflage to reduce theft when it's in a pile of books.Cons: There is a slight functional issue when you try to swipe up from the bottom edge to bring up the airplay menu. The retainer surrounding the screen blocks access to the very edge, so you have to peel the lip back to get to this. I only use airplay once a week, so it's no big deal for me, but if you use it daily, it can be a irritation.

I purchased this Fintie iPad mini case as a gift for my Mom. It is attractive, sturdy - looks like it will hold up, very soft on the inside where it touches the device, and easy to insert the iPad into. The only issue I had with it (which may be minor, but since I won't be using it regularly I won't know for certain) is that it didn't seem very stable in the upright angled position. I had some problems getting the little back flap to hold, and getting the case to sit firmly in the triangle position with the iPad in the landscape position. Of course, it was new and a little stiff; it may, over time, become more pliable and easier to manage. Overall, the price was very good, and it appears it will give good protection to the device.

..the magnetic closure mechanism does not always put the iPad to sleep as advertised. Maybe about 35% of the time it leaves it on, but the mini puts itself to sleep after a time so it's not a major drawback.Update 26 months after purchase: Just thought I would add that this cover may seem like a bargain at $14, but compared to a very similar Amazon.com Kindle cover purchase before it really isn't great quality. I say that because the red surface coating in several places is deteriorating which reveals basically grey cardboard underneath. My Kindle cover has none of this wear and looks like new after about three years. I will be replacing this iPad cover soon and will try to find something that will hold up better.

This was the first case I decided to buy for my new ipad mini w/retina. Let me start off by saying that the case at time of purpose was 7.99 with prime eligibility which is an absolute steal for this quality of case. The material feels fantastic , looks great and for all purposes feels and looks like a case that should cost $60-70. My only gripe is that it seems that the magnets used to auto sleep/wake the device are a little too weak. I've noticed a few times that I'll close the case and the ipad didn't go into sleep. It seems like the top flap of the case is just a couple millimeters short on the right side of the top cover because if I pus the top cover flap is pulled just a little bit farther so that it covers just a millimeter or two farther than when it closed naturally from the magnets, it successfully puts the device to sleep.I'm hoping this issue may resolve itself after some time of normal usage with the case, however if the issue continues to persist, it may be quite an annoyance,I'd absolutely recommend this case for as cheap as it is. No use spending 20+ dollars on a case that looks and feels worse than this. Just beware of your ipad not auto-sleeping when closed.

This is a medium weight, adequately protective case for the new mini and I like how it frames the window all the way around and securely holds it in place; no slippage with this design. This is important for this lightweight device which does not do well with the other type of case where the bottom pulls out and you have the two grooves to choose from and the corners are just held lightly in place. That is the type of case I have (and love) for my iPad and I bought one for my daughter's mini and she has had problems with it staying put in the groove because the mini is just not heavy enough. This Fintie may not offer the alternate angle but you can switch it upside down and have it just slightly lifted at about 3 inches which is good for lap use or typing at a desk.One little problem I am having though is the auto on/off function doesn't always work on mine. Sometimes when I close the cover it won't turn the unit off, I have to press it down on the top right to hear the off click, not that big of a problem.

It's cute, but it doesn't work with the glass screen protector I have. It pushes up the edges of the screen protector and causes it not to seal on the screen

I'm a little disappointed. I ordered this case because it was supposed to come with a loop to hold the stylus and cloths to clean the screen. Neither of these items were included in the package. There was no paperwork in the package.

The skull and flower graphics look exactly like it's shown in the picture; very vibrant and pretty! However, the photo showed that there was a loop for the stylus pen but mine doesn't have one. Also, the tab to latch the cover shut is a little off. It is at an angle. I chalk that up to poor magnet placement. When I have it in portrait mode the tab is just kind of in limbo in the air and can fall in front of the screen. If I'm watching a movie I just hook the stylus on that tab and it holds it behind it and out of the way. The sleep/wake function isn't triggered by closing/opening the cover but having to push the home button doesn't bother me. Other than those tiny issues, I am satisfied with the case. I just feel better having my iPad in a case, especially since I take it out of the house and shove it in my purse. I feel better knowing that something in my purse isn't going to scratch it and I can be a little clumsy sometimes too! I shook the iPad after locking it in the grooves and it didn't budge. I feel like my iPad is secure and the camera lens matches up perfectly which I noticed some people having an issue with. Overall, I think it's really pretty and protects my iPad which is really all I was looking for.

Came packaged well. The case is super cute. The one thing I wish was different is that it doesn't stay closed so I have to either turn my iPad off or set it upside down!

Nice, except that the front of the cover is too long and the magnets don't match up. The screen should turn off when I shut the case, but it doesn't. This wastes the battery. I'm dealing with it by inserting some wooden skewers under the velcro flap to make the iPad wide enough for the case to work, but this is not ideal.Update: Fintie eventually sent a replacement which fits somewhat better and at least works, so I'm upgrading from two stars to three.

There is nothing really wrong with the case, it just has an issue that others might not care about. The corners are sharp on the right lower corner.​ When I am using the iPad in landscape position, it annoys whatever part of my body that touches it. It feels like a hard, plastic, sharp piece...I don't know how else to call it - but other than that, the case does its job. I was thinking about returning and requesting a new one; still haven't decided, though.

In many ways this is a very nice case. It's very sturdy. My iPad mini fits snugly in the slot. However, the sturdiness is its biggest negative since the material is quite thick and makes it difficult to properly touch icons, etc that are at the edge of the screen. Pros: I like the feel and the print. Sleep/wake mode works great.Cons: Adds too much weight and thickness. Sometimes interfere with the home button because of the cutoffs. I adjusted it numerous times but still have that issue. The cutoff on the face could have been a bit shorter. This way it would't interfere with the home button. Mine doesn't lay flat when on landscape mode. Sometimes it tops over. I still plan to keep it. If these issues don't bother you, then buy it. If you'r like me, then don't. I'm keeping it because too much hassle to return. I didn't even bother to contact seller.

If you're looking for a protective case or are prone to dropping your iPad, this is the case for you. I gave this the rating I did because it was a good case for what it does. However, the build quality is not consistent with each case. My fiancee's case would not stand upright at all while I had no issues. My biggest deduction comes from my inability to swipe from the edge of the screen. i.e. getting to the notification menu on the iPad requires this very step. Overall, its a GOOD case. I'm just very specific when it comes to my cases. This was the case I wanted to try something new. It did its job. If anyone even offered me money I'd probably sell it to them right now.

Pros:1. All the cut outs are at the right places.2. The synthetic leather is comfortable to hold and looks nice.3. Good price for what you getCons:1. The side cutout for volume and lock switch is covered by some hard material on the edges. Looks like melted plastic. Probably to protect the edge from fraying or something. Not a big deal, just doesn't look very carefully made (plasticky surface is not smooth) This cut out also leaves that edge of the ipad exposed and unprotected. If dropped or bumped in a certain way, the ipad will definitely get scratched or dented at that area.2. The case does not protect the corners.3. Makes the ipad a little more bulky.4. The Smart Cover function works okay. Sometimes need to push on the cover a bit to have better alignment/contact. I have to always listen for the "click" to make sure the the screen turned off after closing the cover... Probably better to just turn off the function and use the manual button instead.This case will protect your ipad with careful handling. I would not recommend if the user is prong to dropping things or wish to throw the mini in a bag with keys and other hard objects. I would recommend getting a more expensive case to fully protect your mini, especially if you might consider trade-in later on.

Hole for charger either not big enough or improperly positioned, makes it difficult to fully insert charging cable without taking part of the ipad out of the case. Stands awkwardly, and can't fold back cover when taking photos. Not my favorite cover. On the plus side, it's pretty!

I just received my new case today. I was excited to get it for my iPad mini..it matches my iPhone 7 plus case and I love it. Unfortunately the mini case does not fit. It had a tight fit which was fine but the holes were off on the column side which made the volume graphic stayed on. Also,the picture hole covered part of the lens. I am so disappointed.....

The leather part of the case is nice however the plastic covering for the charge port does not allow the charger to fit so I had to remove that part in order to charge the phone. They could have done a better job opening the case so that the charger can fit.

Looks good but but after 2 months it has cracks all over (where it folds ). Also paint is wearing off on the borders along the edges. Now I will be ordering a different one.

i like the design however the cut out for the camera didn't match the iPad. Alsot was a struggle to fit the iPad mini it it, its too tight. The cover itself is cardboard wrapped in vinyl which I expected. I Ill return it bacause I cannot use my camera

For the price of less than $10, this case is decent.the pros:• the pattern comes exactly as shown.• lightweight and thin• sturdy materialthe cons:• if you were to put your iPad on its side, let's say on a desk to watch videos, the rubber holding the iPad slides right against the "leather" (more like plastic) case, causing it to not stand. kinda useless, I would've bought an open case if I knew this wasn't going to stand up.• shown in pictures: sometimes the magnetic mechanism for locking your iPad doesn't work. the top fold of the case must not be heavy enough, idk, but it doesn't stay against the front of the iPad very well. the slightest movement will unlock the iPad, even if it's in a bag. I've tried laying it flat, upside down, smushed between some things, and it seems to kill my battery because it just does not cooperate. if I could remove that part, it would be better. I'd rather unlock it myself than kill the battery and hear constant clicking of the lock while sitting in my bag.• I had a screen protector on my iPad and it was the one that's not quite the thick glass, but not paper thin either. the rubber case was too harsh and kept peeling my screen protector off. I had to use a lighter to slightly melt the inside edges of the rubber case to prevent it from peeling the protector off. after that, it worked fine.overall, I wouldn't purchase this again. I love this pattern, but it was too much hassle. spend the extra money for one that stays shut, doesn't kill your battery because of it, doesn't peel off your screen protector, and actually has the use of standing up the iPad itself to watch videos or read hands free on a desk (unless you like rigging things with double sided tape)

It's a solid case, but it takes a lot of fussing to get it to stand, and even then it won't stay correctly. The stylus holder is an elastic loop and it also takes some fussing with yo get the stylus in there, as opposed to it sliding in easily. It's not a bad product, but I need this for professional use and I can't use it.

Great map pattern and color but not practical. The case covers a bit of the surrounding screen making it difficult to use finger or stylus pen, I have to manually pull it back to touch it. The case also doesn't stand up right well, I have to put something behind it for support when I'm watching a movie.

It has a rich leather feel which is nice. Unfortunately, its very bulky compared to other cases I've seen. It was difficult getting the iPad mini 3 into the case the first time and its hard to get out but it does fit the iPad mini 3 snugly. The stand is by far the worst feature. It only really works one way where the iPad sits almost upright. The tab in the back you have to pull out is tough to pull out and put the case cover into to hold it upright. When you try putting at a shallower angle by lying the iPad mini down the end of the cover slips out of the tab consistently. Arghhh! So mad at myself for not noticing that this case does NOT rotate. I had to write this one off and order a different one that rotates because I frequently use my iPad in both upright and landscape modes. If rotating is not important to you, then this case is OK. Does not protect the corners of your iPad as well as some better cases. Good price, however.

It a bad quality. It is easy to peel off the edge of case when after I used couple months.

it's not horrible, but I'll be replacing it ASAP. I've used the case now for about a week, and am not impressed. It makes me drop it because it doesn't give a solid hold. As another reviewer stated, it doesn't always close properly, leaving the screen on all day and running down your battery. It shifts around inside the case, making it difficult to use the swipe feature to bring a menu up from the bottom. The inside lining looks cheap and seems to be made out of felt. I'm sure there are much better cases out there, so I will be finding one of them asap.

Disappointing! Unlike the Apple original covers, the IPad does not turn off automatically when you shut this cover. As a result the battery drains. You have to shut your IPad off manually each time to you close the cover. Also the edges are already unraveling.

It's poorly made junk! The open holes for the camera, volume and power on/off switch weren't cut out, ugh. It wasn't worth me sending it back after I tore one side trying to cut out holes so I just dumped it and took the loss. I'll never buy from KingCool again!

This case, in my opinion, is rather cheap and flimsy in appearance. I don't like the way the iPad fits into it. The blue plastic that the iPad secures into actually sticks out beyond the cover when you close it. Really not thrilled with the way that looks. Looks cute online but was disappointed with the real deal.

Bulky, cheap and doesn't hold up well. This case got a weird crease in it after very little use. It's way too bulky and I just don't like it one bit. The only exception is the pattern which I think is cute. However, I'll be purchasing a different case in the very near future.

Terrible. Disappointed. I bought a Fintie composition book iPad case last year. I assumed that this was the same product. It's not. My bad for assuming.My biggest complaint is that instead of a hard shell back that you snap the iPad into, the version has a cheap, leatherette sleeve. You slide the iPad into the sleeve. There's a cutout for th home button on the sleeve's frame, but it's a sloppy fit and it's very difficult to use Touch ID.Long story short - don't buy if you use Touch ID.

I am going to replace this item that I have only had for a few months. It often does not close correctly and easily-thus, the battery runs out. It has happened to me twice this week! The materials are nice, weight of the case is nice-but it does not close accurately each time. Not worth it!!!

It is a nice cover, but the auto wake feature does not exist, at least not on mine. If it had worked, I might have given it 5 stars. What a shame.

It is a poor quality item. After a month of use, the cover doesn't close properly, and the iPad doesn't go to sleep. The fit is not aligned so it's difficult to press the main button. The orange color looks cheap.The packaging and delivery was good
