I received my glider on 9/13/2017. It seems to be very sturdy and I like the look of it. The only issue that I had was the tools that were provided. I received a small hex tool and tiny open-end wrench. Because they were so tiny and it required a bit of force to tighten the bolts, I ended up stripped some of the bolts, which was frustrating. Luckily, I have my own tools and was able to tighten everything down with my own wrench and drill. I would suggest using your own tools from start to finish. Otherwise, good looking/functioning glider.

Nice bench. Took my husband and I one hour to put together but we used our own tools. I think it would have been harder just using the tools they provided. Instructions were easy to follow and everything lined up nicely. We bought this as a gift for my inlaws and they love it.

I purchased this as a gift for Mother's Day and it was a definite hit! It is comfortable to sit on, glides smoothly, and dries within half an hour of a rainstorm. The faux wood looks like real wood from a distance too.It did take two people and about an hour to put together, and it helps if it is elevated during assembly (we put it on the picnic table) so you can see where everything goes.This was definitely well received and has gotten lots of use. Both the recipient and I recommend it.

We love this bench so far! The quality is great - it looks really nice. Works really well, very smooth glide. Didn't take too long for my husband to build it.We had 2 quality issues. First, one of the threaded bolt pieces that was build into the bench was damaged/threads were smashed so it wouldn't actually screw together to the other pieces. He had to go out and purchase a hack saw and it just barely worked. We would've had to return the whole bench over it since it's built in. The other issue was a pre-drilled hole in the metal legs - it wasn't cleanly drilled so the bold wouldn't actually push through the 2 holes to attach the bench to the gliders. He had to hammer it through and hope it didn't strip out all the threads.

EASY set-up! Directions are CLEAR! I put this together by myself in less than a half hour, maybe 20 minutes if you discount the time I was fooling around on the internet on unrelated business. I used my own socket wrench (10-mm) and actually laughed at the little wrench included. USE your own wrench! I knew this from reading other reviews. Not sure why some negative reviews-- it's so EASY to assemble and instructions are CLEAR and EASY to follow, which is a switch from most assemblies! It's sturdy, too! My Mom's sleeping right now. Otherwise she'd be "rocking away"-- or gliding away. I hope she enjoys this as much as I did right after putting it together. I had NO HELP putting it together.

I am a 43 yr old female and I easily put this bench together myself. It has few parts so it doesn't take too long, a few hours. As with anything you put together, always read instructions carefully. The first thing I noticed us that the color is different than shown!! The wood is more reddish brown and is a lot better looking than the lighter shade version shown. Also the metal is a beautiful glittery rustic bronze!! Very good quality and worth the higher price. The glide is smooth. I placed this on my front porch.

This swing is just stunning. Of course it won't be up until spring. I opened to inspect the package. I can't wait to put it up. It is going to look great on our front porch, I love it. Thank you

Don't get me wrong, this is a quality product. My wife and I assembled ours today. Its solidly built and good looking. On the other hand, the tools they provide for the assembly are useless. The little 10x8mm open end wrench is about three inches long. Using that combined with the little screw driver, Allen wrench combo to tighten all of the nuts would have been a nightmare. Luckly I had "real tools" so it went together in about 20 minutes. I'm not saying don't buy this item. Its great, just be ready to use your own tools. Its doesn't take many.

This was packaged beautifully and no damage noted upon arrival. We originally ordered this because I had seen a friend's and admired its workmanship and durability. We received ours, put it together and for some reason, within a day, one of the manufactured slats was broken. We hadn't used it at all. We contacted the manufacturer and they promptly shipped out a new slat. They definitely get 5 stars for customer service but I would've rather not had to replace a slat days after we received the new product.

It's actually a pretty good glider once you get it assembled. However, be aware that it was made in China and the assembly instructions read like they were written by a Chinese person not totally fluent in English. So you have to study the parts and figure out how they fit together before you start to assemble it. The faux wood slats are hard plastic, but that's good if you plan to leave the glider outside in the weather. Overall it seems pretty solid. I'm waiting to see if the metal parts eventually show any rust, but so far they don't.

Good price on a good glider that looks nice. I'm not the greatest fan of the aluminum tube type furniture but its strong enough to do the job and the two tone brown (slats & supports) looks nice. We've had an unusually dry summer so not much rain to see if the bolts/nuts/bearings rust quickly or not but has held my wife & I and a kid or two at times (close to 500 lbs total) without complaining.

This bench was a gift to my wife for her birthday. I ordered it on a Sunday, and it arrived 2 days later! However, the package was broken open in several locations. Thankfully, nothing was lost.Assembly was simple and straightforward, in spite of the instructions. An exploded view would have been helpful. The stamped wrench was worthless. The bench was assembled in less than an hour after unpacking.I was disappointed about one thing. This is an outdoor glider bench, yet none of the hardware provided had any coating. The frame is all epoxy coated. I would have expected at least zinc coating or yellow chromate. I fully expect I will need to replace hardware next spring.

We've been looking for a glider for about a month when we saw this on Amazon. Checked out the reviews and decided this is the one. Found no mention how much the package weighs for delivery. 75# for anyone wondering. Started putting together when I got home from work. No words in the instructions, just pictures. No problem, though, very easy to assemble. Only a couple loose screws on the slats to tighten. All parts were there and no damage. The hardest part is holding the bench up to attach the hangers on each end. Definately a two person job to move it from the garage to our deck. It glides very easy, and seems tough enough. We don't abuse our stuff, so we expect it to last a long time ( we've had the same dresser and chest of drawers for 35 years). Might replace the faux wood for real wood someday. A nice addition would be a cup holder on each end. Hear that Lifetime? So far we like it very much. I only gave it 4 stars because of my misunderstanding of faux wood. I thought the slats would be some kind of (at least) a wood particle.

So I couldn't give 5 stars as it arrived BROKEN not once but TWICE ;0( in the exact same spot through the star and all the way down the wood, so after receiving it TWICE broken I called the company directly and they WRAPPED it in bubble wrap and it arrived PERFECT and it is the BEST swing, I love the look of it, very unique and it is high quality!

Not meant for a lot of weight my boyfriend and I together weigh 300 lbs and its was cracking. Great service though.

The large box the glider was delivered in two days from ordering from Amazon was badly damaged. All the parts were still in the box which was a relief. One of the gliders supporting steel legs however had its 2 soldered screw nubs bent. This made it impossible to tighten the nuts. I called Lifetime in Utah and the very cooperative customer service rep (Laura) sent me two replacement legs, as we couldn't determine which leg was damaged, the right or left. (They both are identical and have no markings to indicate otherwise). The replacement parts arrived FedEx 6 days later. I was able to immediately complete the glider which is candidly, well built and sturdy.

Easy to assemble though having a good set of metric tools comes in handy as the tools supplied are just OK. It's a good quiet glider that fits nicely in small spaces. After a rain there was a small rusty colored pool of water under the glider but not sure what part of it leaked rust.

Box was damaged and the Bench board was snapped in half. Had to return

I thought the bench would be more comfortable.

This is a very nice looking bench/glider with simulated wood slats. These won't fade or splinter over age and won't require restaining. Only complaint was one leg got bent in the shipping and looks awkward. It's comfortable and just the right size for two. Not a lot of movement in the glide - only a few inches - but enough to give you a nice rocking motion.

This is a nice quality bench when put together. But upon opening the package, we realized one of the "wood" planks on the benchs was broke. It was also missing one of the screws on the bottom, and one of the arm rest was srached and damaged. I was very upset that it was broke becase we had no time to send it back and get a new one in time for what we need it for. Therefore my husband had to drill new holes to hold the plank on the bench :( if it wasnt broke or damaged,would like it.

the bench looks fine and seems ok. however, be advised: it takes two full people to put the thing together. also, one of the embedded screws-- crucial to the assembly-- arrived stripped. i had to call a mechanic friend to come over with a special tool to file it down and re-thread the screw. fortunately, it didn't cost me anything, but it did arrive defective.

It looks great and the assembly is easy if you have a helper. Some of the planks popped up at the ends. Not sure how to fix that

One slat in the bench was broken! It was too difficult to send it back so we've glued and covered the slat.

Board came broken, Amazon replaced a whole new glider after I sent back old one, free of charge

This is a great glider! It is made of decent quality materials, it is comfortable, and it looks very nice.9/16/2016 UPDATE: While this seemed like a great glider initially, it has now been just over two months since receiving it and the metal frame has already started to rust. In less than 3 months, it is rusting. Not happy about this.

I believe the item would have been fine, but it was damaged and returned by a previous customer (based on the return label that was still on the box when we received it). I would not have had to gone throught the hassle of unboxing it, boxing it back up and waiting for the return had someone paid more attention to this item in warehouse before it waas shipped out again.

I gave this to my parents for Christmas this past year. I was excited to get it and assemble it quickly so we could take family photos in it...upon assembly, I realized just how thin and short seated it was...I should have paid more attention to the dimensions. Needless to say, I was a bit embarrassed as we gathered to sit in the swing for photos. We were all afraid to sit on the swing at once, thinking that it may crack down the middle and we'd all fall on the ground. We made it through our photos in the new swing, but since then, just with my parents sitting in it to bird watch or have their morning coffee, the swing has actually started showing stress and bowing in the middle of the swing seat. My father ended up taking it down and re enforcing the whole entire bottom with another bracing of wood. The seat is also very shallow, and I do not find it comfortable as you would a full length seat you can scoot back on. The design is very attractive, especially with the star in the middle, and the finish was nice...I just think the wood depth could have been better, stronger, and more supportive....one person sitting is fine (If they are NOT HEAVY SET) Two average people sitting in it, could be a risk over time w/o re enforcing it! 2 HEAVY SET people would not be advisable!!! Jus sayin'

The screw posts that attach to the glider came mangled. It appears when they manufactured it they hit the posts with a hammer so the nuts won't screw onto the posts. Will call company in morning, if they don't replace ASAP it will be going back to Amazon.

We have only had this for a couple of weeks and only used it a couple of times and the swinging arm is already broken. Max weight was 310 lbs total (my wife at 100 and me at 210). Seems rather flimsy

Very poor packaging first glider arrived damaged. Replacement arrived with hardware that does not fit. Calling to see if Manufacturer will send replacement parts. Very disappointed.

Slats on bench have warped. If I could send it back I would!!

This bench dripped rust all over my new concrete after being outside in California (barely 3 days of rain so far) for a couple months! Im so bummed because otherwise it was a great bench.

I bought this glider bench on Sept 7 2013. By early August 2014 one of the welding connections that holds the seat bench to the arm busted apart so now when you sit on it, it sags. Also the paint on the arms is bad and already bubbling up and peeling not to mention beginning to rust. They do have a 2 year limited warranty so we'll see if they will replace this bench or not.

Swing nice to look at but as soon as a 115lb. female sat in it for the first time the bottom broke out of it.

Crap. Just plain crap.

Returned to Amazon. The wood is thin and cheap. The slats are thin and are stapled down. Purely a decorative piece.

Poorly constructed and cheap. Brad nailed together and most boards had fallen off when arrived. Looks nice pictured but actual swing needs help when opened.

Beautiful but not a quality piece. Broke as soon as someone sat on it.
