Curly Girl, 3b low porosity curls. Perfect moisture and consistency. Light, when you rub in hands does turn white but goes away once applied. Smell is fine, it doesn't linger but that's not a bad thing because I usually layer it with a styling product curly, natural hair ladies know what I'm talking about. Great deal for 3 bottles. Has become one of my favorite leave in, great for wash and go. It is also good for the summer months when we need our curls hydrated. Will definitely recommend and repurchase.

I absolutely adore this leave-in conditioner! It works better than any leave-in I've ever tried!Pros:- Leaves hair feeling super soft, moisturised and manageable- Has great slip making it easy to detangle hair.- Works well with products from other brands.- Penetrates hair easily and quickly- Does not weigh down hair and does not flake- Even though it's only 8oz it lasts a long time because a little definitely goes a long way!Cons:- The scent could be better, but that's being nit-picky.This is definitely a holy grail product for me! Would HIGHLY recommend it!

It's a staple for my 3c/4a hair. Detangles, and conditions with verrrrrry little. The scent, I don't like. It's unscented but reminds me of how plastic smells. I always add something else to my hair in order to make it smell good.

This product is seriously the Holy Grail of all leave in conditioners. I've been using it for about 2 months ago and I lieterally trashed all my other leave ins conditioners because this one has left me super duper happy. I'm natural with a hair type that's 4b and I must say that despite the fact that my hair is thick and coarse, it really dosen't take much of this product to keep my hair well moisturised. This is literally one of those "a little goes a long way" type of products. So if you're cautious about how much of the product you put in your hair, the bottle should last you about 2 1/2 months depending on how frequently you wash your hair.

I have been using Giovanni Leave-In Weightless Conditioner for two years now and it is the finest product of it's type that I have ever tried. I am a guy with a full head of medium weight wavy hair who wants just a bit of moisture and control. With wet hands, I can distribute a tiny dab of Giovanni evenly through my hair (wet or dry), making just one 8.5 oz, bottle last for months. Other no-rinse products I have used seem to either create build up over time or cause chemical damage if left in all day. And unlike many styling products, Giovanni Weightless has no waxy or oily properties to cause a stiff feel or greasy look. My hair always looks and feels completely natural after use. Just received my second 3 pack meaning that I am now starting my fourth bottle and third year with complete satisfaction so far.

UPDATE (10/2014):THE 4B HAIR IS STILL BOUNCY & SOFT! I have not changed my leave-in conditioner in 3 years because this one still does the job incredibly well. I've added Giovanni's Smooth As Silk Deep Moisture Conditioner to the regimen and made other adjustments to increase effectiveness:- Slather hair with extra-virgin coconut oil (cold expeller-pressed) and let it soak in while you handle other business (i.e. a quick & dirty pre-poo)- Wash scalp with Shea Naturals Thickening Shampoo (or whatever brand/formulation applies to you) or not (meaning, go straight to deep conditioning). Rinse with cool water, but at the end switch to warm/very warm water.- Use Giovanni's Deep Conditioner. Let soak in under plastic cap under a low-heat dryer (or not) for half hour to an hour.- Rinse out completely with cool water, make that quick switch to warm/very warm water, don't shake or wring dry and add the Giovanni Leave-In Conditioner. Let the water and product absorb into hair for 15-20 minutes.- Slather hair again with extra-virgin coconut oil, paying special attention to ends. This step seals in the moisture.- Then, use whatever holding/styling products (in my case, large section-by-section Jane Carter Wrap & Roll Foam and Andalou Naturals Medium Hold Sunflower Gel). I still use Kiss My Face Upper Management Gel [Medium hold] sometimes, particularly for slickbacks. Don't forget to trim those ends with BARBER scissors!NOTE: I usually do some type of wet set, not a wash n' go. I think the procedure still applies though to a wash n' go.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I have medium-long 4B hair (fine, curly). I was looking for a leave-in that would detangle, but with mostly natural ingredients. Thanks to a previous, similar reviewer, I purchased this leave-in at a SuperTarget.Bottom line: It did what other conditioning products did not.I smooth on 2 quarter size (or less) dollops of this in my freshly washed (and sometimes conditioned) hair. I wait 10 minutes. Then, I can put a sturdy wide tooth comb through my hair with minimal resistance. The hair loss is dramatically less. I can do a wet set of my hair more quickly (in combo with Kiss My Face Upper Management Gel [Medium hold] and Jane Carter Wrap & Roll Foam over it). Also, my hair looks and feels incredibly soft as well as healthy when the style is dried. There's no residue, and most importantly, my curls aren't weighed down. It's bouncy time!I've been using this product for over a year. I don't anticipate switching to anything else anytime soon.

Yup, it's the same product you're used to! I fell in love with this product after my hairstylist put it in my hair after highlighting it. Even after highlights, when my hair is extra dry, this product will make it soft and smooth and easy to comb. It's like the no more tangles product we used as kids, but a million times better. Great find, I cannot live without this product. My hair looks so much healthier and feels so soft. I won't go anywhere without it, and even have travel size. I use a quarter sized amount, maybe ten pumps. This is the best price I have found.

Yes, it may be a bit expensive, but PLEASE try it, because I'm telling you, I'm HOOKED! This product, along with Biosilk, are my two lifesavers, and people are always asking me why I have such smooth hair. This, my friends, is my secret.I tend to use 6-10 sprays every morning and I have long, wavy, sun-damaged-prone light brown hair with some blonde sun streaks. I've never died my hair, so I don't know how this is with colored hair, but I do tend to have some dry and damaged hair from going to the beach and being in the sun literally everyday. When I started using this everyday, it made the sun-damage and dryness totally smooth and perfect.BUY THIS! TREAT YOURSELF!

It's a 10 products have forever changed my hairs health! I use this miracle leave-in product after I shower. Some people say you are not supposed to brush your hair while its still wet, but if I do not then when it dries I am a beast from the east with a birds nest on top of my head!!So, after showering, I dry off/moisturize my skin/do a few things. Then I spray this product in my hair twice only!**side note- if you spray it too much I have found it leaves excess product in your hair after it dries and makes the texture strange**-After a couple sprays of this product in my hair, I am able to brush out my hair no problems. It makes my hair untangle from the knots created while showering and glide right out.This product has saved me a lot of ripping and tugging at knots in my wet hair, and beyond that my hair has became fuller and healthier over time. Love this product and will be using it for life.

I love this! It detangles, smooths and leaves your hair smelling great! I do not use it though when I straighten my hair because on me personally, I feel my hair is too oily and feels stiff/sticky when I'm done. I do use this everyday/every other day (after I shower on wet hair) to detangle my hair (I have naturally curly hair) so when I use the diffuser to blow dry my curls, they look amazing! Totally recommend and will always buy!

I don't usually write reviews, but I absolutely had to for this product. I like to flat iron my hair and was looking for a product that would help protect from the heat, but was not heavy and oily. I searched the internet and found out about this product. I read other Amazon reviews and decided to give it a try. This is one of the BEST if not BEST products I have ever used for flat ironing my hair. I'm a black female. Don't know my hair type by classification, but it's not tightly coiled. More like a loose wave. I can usually blow dry my hair and that straightens it out pretty easily and then flat iron it for a silky smooth finish. I washed, conditioned and then applied the product to my hair. It definitely detangles as I was able to run the comb through my hair pretty easily. As I blow dried sections of my hair, I could IMMEDIATELY see and feel that it was soft, light and had great movement. Then to the flat iron. No problem. Hair looks just about as good as coming out of a salon. Over the years I've tried many serums, sprays etc, but this is the one product by far that I've been instantly impressed with. Someone said, you can't go wrong with this product and I TOTALLY AGREE!!!

Given the price I was hesitant to order but went out on a limb with this after reading the other reviews. I was really happy that I did because this works wonderfully. It was more expensive than I would have liked but after using it, I would definitely order it again. My sister-in-law will be getting a bottle for her birthday as part of her present for sure this year.I have long wavy/curly hair that likes to tangle or become frizzy at a moment's notice, so I've tried a bunch of different products over the years but this really helps tame it down and make my hair soft and MUCH more manageable, plus it smells great. It's definitely earned it's name.I'm a really big fan of this product, and would recommend giving it a shot to other buyers.

This has been my go to leave in conditioner for the last 4 years, and I have natural hair. The reason I have given it 4/5 stars is that if you put too much in your hair or do not massage it in it will leave your hair looking gray. I have found that it works best if I mix it with a natural oil.

I like Paul Mitchell Leave-In Conditioner better but this product is more ecologically friendly. I wish it worked the same as Paul Mitchell.

This product is good, especially as a finishing product, a little goes a long way. I might not purchase again because it really is weightless. It is called weightless Direct Leave-In conditioner, meaning it will not weigh the hair down and that is absolutely true. Depending on the hair style, like normally when I do a twist-out I like to use a conditioner with some weight to it in setting up the twists, but when I take it down this is a good product to use during that stage. Since I use this sparingly in the final styling stages, it will last a long time.

I like this leave-In conditioner because it really helps with manageability of my hair. I have very thick hair which can be difficult to comb through but once I put this conditioner in it's easy going from there.The only drawback is that it doesn't leave my hair feeling moisturized for a long time and leaves it feeling a little dry. However, that's nothing that a little olive oil mixed in water can't cure.

this product gets a well deserved 4 stars from me. It delivers what it promises, it is weightless, which is great for natural kinky hair. It gives hair that moisture splurge in the drier winter climate in South Africa. I only recently bought this product, so it is still new to my hair but my hair is enjoying it at the moment. The leave in has a subtle smell, which is not bad but it is not great either. I recommend this product to dry hair that needs a face lift.

I am honestly am not sure if this product makes much difference in conditioning my hair. I put this in my hair along with oil. Sometimes my hair feels a little heaving from all of the products but this is a creamy leave in that is very light weight. Since my order came with 3 bottles I'll keep using it but I'm not 100% that it's making much difference. Putting oil in my hair, on the other hand, makes a clear difference.

My little has super curly hair that is very hard to tame. She cries and cries because of knots. I brush it 3 times a day! I love this product as it isn't just a liquid, it's actually a thicker cream that sprays! Works fantastic on my kids hair. Not too crazy about the sleep, but it works!

Good smell, but can weigh hair down

My hair has some damage after years of dyeing and using heat products on it daily. I picked this up in hopes of protecting my hair after washing. I spray this on after towel drying and it makes my hair feel super soft. It makes it much easier to handle while blow drying. I have noticed over time some improvements to the texture of my hair. It does not tangle as easily as it used to. My only complaint about this product is that you have to watch how much you use. If you use too much, your hair looks more greasy on day two. Other than that, I do like that I am seeing some improvement and will continue to use this. I'm interested in trying their other products to see if it helps repair my hair.

I have been using this leave in product consistently for about 4 months and I have noticed a big difference in the softness and overall quality of my hair. I swim regularly and color my hair, so it can appear to be dry/damaged pretty quickly. Typically, I would consider my hair to be normal to thick and I have only used products similar to this before for heat protection. Previously to purchasing this I was trying hair masks and coconut oil treatments, but nothing was really helping the quality of my hair. This product helps to keep my hair from splitting and breaking towards the ends in addition to giving me some protection when I heat style it.

This stuff really works well. I got a much larger bottle than I was expecting. I had previously bought this product in a much smaller bottle at a higher price from a hair salon. I really liked it, so I thought I'd look on Amazon to see if it was cheaper. It doesn't make my hair SO soft that I can't do anything with it styling wise, but it gives it a nice texture and a bit of shine. I spray it in after I've washed my hair, and before I dry it. It really comes out pretty nice. A lot of leave in conditioners I've found sort of weigh your hair down and make it a bit greasy, and also make styling a bit difficult. This seems like a happy medium and I'm sticking with it.

I don't like the smell, but I think it's a great moisturizing product. It gives good moisture to the african hair, unlike most leave-ins.

It's okay for dry hair, but I won't buy again based on the size of bottle and how well it works.

I have very long hair that tangles badly. I thought this was a regular conditioner (I didn't read the description very well) and couldn't firgure out why it wasn't helping. My bad! Once I realized it was a "leave-in" conditioner, I tried it. It honestly didn't work well for me. I do love that It is enriched with certified organic botanicals, has no animal by-products and it's cruelty free. It wasn't for me but I still love these products from Giovanni!

I find that this product actually makes my hair drier when I use it. I've heard such great things about this product but for me, it leaves my hair too dry & since I bought the three pack thinking that I would love this product, I add it to water in a spray bottle & spritz my hair with it in conjunction with other hydrating products & I find that this works better for my hair.

Decent product but the moisture level just isn't there. I have kinky hair and it drinks up moisture. It smells ok. Works well on natural loose wavy hair. Use it everyday on my daughter hair. No build up.

This was one of the first leave-in conditioners I used after going natural. I'd put this on my hair after conditioner washes, and it left my hair with a good amount of moisture, but little slip. I have to say, when I used Kinky Curly's Knot Today, however, my opinion of Giovanni changed slightly, since Knot Today gives me ample moisture and slip for my 4a/4b hair.Giovanni does perform for the price, and it's advantage is that it's cheaper (being half the price of Knot Today's $11). It's still good, but in my opinion, and for my hair, Knot Today is better. But, everyone's hair is different, so try it and decide for yourselves.

Not sure I see a difference that I like. And I wonder if the scent has given me some headaches. I'm not using it daily, which was the idea when I ordered it. Maybe it's just not what my hair needed, but I'm not impressed.

Used it as directed. Not great results. Taken with me on a long trip due to it's size. It didn't really condition my hair as well as other products I have purchased, it didn't leave it high and dry either, but at the end of the trip, I just tossed it out when I ran low on space. I won't be buying again.

I'm not entirely sure just how much these products protect hair from hot iron damage. My daughter and I both use this product. She straightens her hair 2-4 times a week. I straighten mine maybe once every two months. My hair is very soft and silky and using this product definitely helps with that... I definitely notice a difference, but with my daughter's hair, it seems merely a detangler that smells amazing. I'm sure it may help a little, but not enough protection from heat.

I think this product may be watered down in some way. I have very short hair and have to use 15+ pumps to detangle and even then I still have difficulty combing through. I've been purchasing this product in the small bottles (from the drugstore) for quite a while and I never had to use more than 3 or 4 pumps with those. It still works. It just takes a lot of product for the positive result.

This might sound crazy, but the bottle I buy from the store seems to put more moisture in my hair than the Amazon bottle... Starting to question whether it's legit. I can feel a difference in my hair between the two.

I really don't understand the awesome reviews of this product. I have fairly normal hair, but it can be a tiny bit dry sometimes, so I thought maybe this would be great for that and whatever else benefits - i don't even think I checked, just wanted to try it based on the reviews. I'm actually coming out of this quite confused as I feel like plenty of other products do exactly the same thing and even for cheaper. It certainly wasn't a miracle for me. I saw someone posting about watered down ones being shipped - maybe I had that issue, i don't know.

I saw another comment that mentioned this problem. The pack of three of these products seem like they're going bad, like they've been on the shelf forever. The smell is a little different than the regular product and the consistency even seems different. I had originally purchased one and I loved it, so I decided to stock up but the second time around these just were so different.

Leaves a white residue that flakes off like dandruff after a couple days. For the naturalistas who go long periods without washing, this is definitely a problem. If something is meant to be left in, it should assimilate seamlessly. Also dries a bit sticky for me. May be a good product, but for these reasons it's not for me.

I got this because my sister said it did wonders for her hair. She has just about the same course hair type as me. For me, it's like any other product I used: poor. I can find something half the price. This item also sat on my hair and when my hair dried, I saw white residue.

Not sure what happened but this is the first time I ordered this product online and it seemed different than the ones I bought at Target. Not as good. I had to use a LOT of it. Left weird sticky residue. I wonder if it was tampered with, watered down? Normally this is a great product. I'll stick to Target for this one.

My sister recommended and swore by this shampoo and conditioner and I read the reviews but I don't see any big deal about it. I use Pantene products or the Orlando Pita shampoo and conditioner and I think they are much better, they smell much better and they are also much less expensive. I am sorry that I kept the shampoo or the conditioner and I would not recommend it at all since there is nothing special about it.

I didn't notice any improvement. My hair felt a little sticky and tangled.

I'm not liking this product as much as the others who have reviewed it. I can't get it evenly distributed through my hair without it feeling greasy/waxy. I have thin, fine hair of medium length. I wouldn't recommend this product for anyone with hair like mine.

I did not find much difference after using it as my hair is still frizzy. But was little soft after I sprayed it and the odour is good too.I am not going to spend money re-purchasing this product as it didn't work for my hair.

I must have a sensitive scalp because when the weather gets warm my head starts to itch after I put this on.It does make your hair look nice and smooth, just can't stand the itch.

This is okay but I wouldn't recommend this for African American hair. It cakes up and looks white if you use too much causing you to rewash your hair if you are NATURAL!!

This left my daughter's hair dry, bulked up, and frizzy. I experimented with different amounts, using both less and more than my initial application, but it didn't work for her at all. She has extremely curly hair, and a lot of it. I was not impressed and tossed the rest of the bottle. I've used rinse-out conditioners on her that were more moisturizing!

Product did not have the same consistency as the one I got from another store. Also, it crumbled when I applied to my hair and I had to immediately rinse it out.

I have naturally wavy, frizzy hair. After reading the miraculous reviews claiming this product transformed their frizzy hair, I bought a bottle. After using it every day for several months, it still hasn't reduced the frizz.

I think this might have been fake. I've used Its a 10 spray daily for years, but this particular bottle seems to coat and weigh down my hair. Does not seem like the real deal. I'm using it to soften my dogs fur after his bath as I can't use it on my hair.

The product that I received is NOT real. I do not recomend. I have a purchased the real Its a 10 Leave in spray from Target, Ulta, etc. straight from the store and I compared these bottles and theymre significantly different. They even spray differently. The prodcut smells and looks quite similar, however I have been using this product long enough to know that there was something off about this, obviously.

Zero stars. This is not an authentic product. I have been using the real stuff for 15 years. The product I got from Amazon doesn't smell the same, the consistency is watery and it dried out my hair! This is fake! Into the picture the real stuff is on the left and the Amazon bought stuff in on the right.

really don't know how this is getting such great reviews...I had used this product for 3 years having always bought it from the salon. Then it became to be a bit expensive so I held off on buying more. When I saw this I was so excited, you don't even understand. Ugh. If I only knew then. Since it had been some time since my last purchase I hadn't noticed the differences in the product right away. But it seemed to be leaving a waxy/sticky thick residue on my hair. Leaving it looking dirty within less than 12 hours of a wash. I was sure it was my shampoo never considering that this product I loved was the culprit. I started seeing reviews on fake products and got curious. I stopped using and my problems disappeared. I then bought a smaller bottle from the salon and was so shocked I hadn't noticed the glue smell from my bottle purchased from Amazon it's crazy. After using the REAL stuff my hair was soft and manageable....ugh until i stopped using it, it was ruining my hair!!!!!This is NOT an authentic product. ;(I wish I could say that it is.
