Bought this shirt because I needed polos in my wardrobe. I ordered a large and at first it was actually a tad bit long on me but after being washed a couple of times it actually shrunk to a perfect fit! So I can't say I regret buying it. this shirt is very nice looking on me too; I also don't get some of the reviews on here saying that the quality is terrible or bad? Maybe it's for the fact that the shirt is very stale in design as the only print on it is the logo... (Then pick something more vibrant/flashy folks). The quality is good and even much more so than some of the flashy striped nautica polos that I own.

I did quite a bit of searching before buying this shirt. Many of the polo shirts nowadays are of thin material that does not hold up. Many are coarse to wear. I find this shirt is very good. It is sturdy without being unseemly so. I shall buy more.

My middle aged husband had never wore this brand until we happened to pick one up a few months ago. He is not a pick clothes guy, however he absolutely loves this shirt and will never wear another type a polo shirt again. I just bought 2 more! A nice weight of material and the sleeves are just slightly shorter than most others which he loves to wear. We should have bought the Classic US Polo to begin with!

I always buy from well known, reliable brands and U.S. Polo Assn. is one of them. I purchased this as a gift and was very happy with the quality of the shirt. I was also happy with the packaging. The tags were attached and everything was new and authentic. When the shirt arrived with all the tags and fancy packaging I felt like it should be worth more than $20 bucks. I'm very impressed, the shirt is smooth and thick (but not too thick) and will last a long time.

These polo's are a great value. Considering I could literally purchase three U.S. Polo Assn polo's for the price of one Ralp Lauren polo (and the fact that by my estimation they look just as good) i'm very satisfied with this purchase. The shirt fits well, looks good and is well made. I'm not sure what's with all the discrepancies in the sizing in other reviews because the large and extra large i've purchased have fit exactly as i'd expect. I will be buying more.

This is a good shirt for casual dress wear. Ive had one before and it has lasted a decent amount of time I just wanted one with a more new vibrant color compared to the old used look because over time and many washings the color fades. for 20 bucks this shirt is a good deal. I tend to stick to the darker colors though.As far as the Quality goes ive never had any issues although it seems some have so it is like anything else you buy especially with clothes (things get snagged or torn sometimes and you take a chance ordering stuff online.). Ive worn my previous us polo assn. shirt maybe half a year 1 time a week so thats around 25ish washings and its held up fine for me.

Don't get me wrong, I love modern fit. But for this shirt my shoulders were too small. I usually wear S, I have an average body with somewhat defined muscles/chest yet not too muscular. I think I will order a medium and compare the two. Aside from the shoulder, the rest of the fit was as expected. I'm just saying, if you're going to buy this, you should probably buy two different sizes and have someone you wanna gift it to in mind.

I wear polos a lot during summer. I like fitted polos, because regular polos look too baggy, especially if worn untucked. These are a perfect fit. Not too "slim" fitting, just right and looks nice untucked (not too long). I highly recommend these, quality and fit is great and you can't beat the price. I have ordered several more.

The Slim fit of this version fits wonderfully, I usually go a size larger on these than what I typically wear and I can tell you these shirts are pretty awesome, and an amazing value for the price. The Slim fit will show off a toned physique. So, an athletic build is recommended when wearing these. The lighter colored shirts will require an undershirt, as they're very thin and transparent.I would recommend these

Great shirt, hard to find a shirt like this without the brand clearly visible. Feels comfortable and love how the modern version fits my slim body. Amazon has great great customer service, they accidently gave me a classic size and with no trouble at all their automated system sent me the modern with no charge while also allowing me to keep the classic. My husband loves this shirt. Got him the yellow and royal blue in Medium. Fits perfect. He wears a 38R suit. 5'8, 170lbs, broad shoulders, 32" waist. The sleeves fit right on his biceps. Not lose but not too tight either. Jusy enough to show off his muscles, lol. Narrow at the hem, so it's not so loose and bulky at the waist.Very soft. He wants one in every color.

I wear these for work. I needed something that would fit and not be bulky, with a collar. Looking good in the process was a bonus.Material is a pretty decent thickness, better than the cheap $5 T-shirts you get at a box store.The color has held out pretty well through a lot of washings. I purchased a Large in NavyThe sizing chart is pretty darn close in the fitting of these shirts. However use the sizing chart as a -maximum- size list. With a 43" chest I should fall right into the middle of "Large" sizing but in reality I'm at the top end limit for this size of shirt. If I were a 44" chest I don't think I'd be able to comfortably button the first button. Also realize the waist size listed in basically the measurement for the material around your mid-section. So if your waist is 36-38" and the shirt lists fitting 36-38" expect the shirt to be skin tight. Sleeves come down to mid or just below mid-bicep which is appropriate fit for a fitted polo.If you have build to wear one of these then they are awesome shirts for your money.

Really nice shirt, however It is a little too long, so I only wear it tucked in. It would be nice if it was a little shorter so it would look nice un-tucked with jeans. Fits good in the chest and arms. It has held it color well over the past year or so.

Great shirt, just a bit small for an XL. More accurately, I bought a grey one and a white one and the white was exactly the same size as the grey one intil after the first wash. We followed the instructions exactly and the white one shrunk to about a bit smaller than a L would be. Love the feel but dissappointed in how just a colr makes such a difference in shrinkage.

I have worn IZOD polos for a long time and liked them, but the colors got a bit too funky for me. These are attractive (I bought 3 of different colors), but they feel a little flimsy, i.e, light, which some people might like. They hold up we'll after machine washing. I am still pining for my old Lacombe shirts.

These shirts live up to the Polo name! They are plenty long to tuck in (I'm 6 foot 2 inches and I have a 30 inch inseam.....i have a tall torso) and these Polos work great! The quality and strength of the fabric is fantastic. The reason for 4 stars is the shirt is a little tight in the arms and I'm not a huge fan of the scratchiness of the tags, but you'll have that with any shirt. overall, fantastic buy and I would highly recommend!

Great shirt and quality. Only wore it once so not sure about longer term wear and tear. Overall pleased within brand name Polo expectations. Docked one star due to availability of colors (ex. no horizontal blue) and pricing since promotion by Amazon advertised a lower price but when got here, much smaller selection and for what was available (ex. teal blue) and size, it was a couple dollars more expensive. Misleading there when most/other deals tend to over-subscribe but vendor tends to make whole.

I have purchased multiple pairs of shorts from U.S. Polo Assn. before, so I wanted to try some of their shirts as well. The shirt is really nice quality, 100% cotton, soft and a good fit. However, this particular shirt is far too long. My girlfriend saw it and said that it looks like a dress because it is so long. I also purchased the same shirt in black and it was not as long as the light heather grey shirt. The reason for the differences is that each shirt (or color, I'm not sure) is made in different countries. This one was made in India, where others are made in Bangladesh, etc.

Shirt seems well made, and the fabric is a medium weight. The sleeves are a bit short, but fit pretty much like the picture. I am 6 ft 2 In and 180 pounds and the large size, modern fit, fits me well. I am not sure what a "modern" fit is supposed to be, but my experience may help others. Based on other large size shirts I have ordered, I would characterize this as being on the "slim" side. I think an XL "modern" fit would have worked for me, as well, but this one is pretty close to perfect.

First off, great polo at a steal of a price. The sizing for the "Slim" option is off, though. If ordering the slim, you'll need to order one size larger. I'm 5'10", 165lb, with a slim/athletic frame. I consistently wear a medium in shirts, so I ordered a medium. FAR too tight. Returned it, then ordered a large. Large fits great. A tag on the "slim" states "youth", which makes some sense.

Was looking for shirts to put my DJRobbyg.com logo on. For weddings and events where a tshirt would be underdressed. These fit as expected BUT are a tad bit snug around the arm, I've been working out so my newly bulging biceps and triceps could be a contributing factor.....but these fit a bit more snug than other similar sized polo shirts.Will I be ordering more? Absolutely, a couple more blacks and probably a white one for baby showers, weddings, and corporate events.

Initially ordered two of these in black and navy in a size large modern fit. (am 6 ft, 190 lbs, wear a 44 jacket and 33 waist pant usually) Like my shirts to fit close to the body but not too tight. The large was skin tight through the chest and arms but fit well through the middle. Exchanged them for size XL modern fit and that seems about right. Still close through the arms and chest and not too terribly baggy through the middle. Have washed them a few times and I haven't noticed much shrinkage or fading. I don't think these can be beat for the money.

I'm sure I would have been well pleased if I had been sent the size that I ordered, which was a size "large". However, although both the shirt and the poly bag it came in plainly showed size "medium", an added scanner sticker on the poly bag stated it was size "large". Obviously, that sticker was scanned in preparation for shipping with no eyeball contact made with the shirt's size label below the neck or the shirt's permanently marked poly bag. Evidently the scanner sticker was placed on the bag with the same kind of inattention. The shirt was neatly folded (probably by machine) with the size label clearly visible through the clear poly bag, and the bag itself was machine stamped "MEDIUM".The shirt is a nice, quality made garment which I will be returning for the correct size.

I normally wear a size large, but this product was entirely too small for me in a size large. I returned it in favor a an extra-large. I have yet to receive the replacement, so I cannot say if it will fit. The material in the returned product did seem adequate, so I am optimistic that I will like the shirt when I get the right size.

I recently bought another color of this same shirt and the quality is quite different. This shirt is made a much more rigid material and shrunk fairly significantly after one dry (whereas the other shirt fit true to size, even after washing).It's not terrible, but the starchier material is more prone to wrinkles and the shrinkage was a little severe. If you're wed to the Navy I might go a size larger if you're on the fence.

These XL polo shirts fit perfectly. Usually I never know what to expect, but I am thrilled with the quality and fit of these shirts. (I bought 3 shirts.) One major negative -- they are badly wrinkled after washing. They need to be ironed.

Bought two identical shirts, but one was two inches wider and longer than the other. Both were marked "Large", but one felt like an extra large. For the price, the quality seemed good. The color and style matched the online description. I would have rated this 5 stars if the size was consistent. Amazon customer service was excellent and easy to deal with, so that's why I am still a customer.

I ordered modern fit, one size bigger than my husband usually wears (based on internet recommendations) and it fit just about perfect on his broad shoulders and trim torso. Returned it because I've seen this quality of fabric at Walmart before and it pilled like crazy the last several times. I'm not messing with it again.

I ordered several of these shirts, all the same size. Two of them fit perfect, and the rest are all too small. I would love the shirt if they were consistently sized, and I would pay more. But if only 2 out of 5 fit, then it is not a good deal.

It's a decent polo, fits as expected, but I don't like the feel of the material on my skin. Perhaps as I wash it more it might get more comfortable. It's a decent shirt for the price

Picked these up instead of the Hanes polo's I bought on Amazon time ago to see the differences.First impression was these are soft, but this means the collars are also shapeless and tend to be all over the place. Size seems to be correct.Compared to the Hanes, these actually are more breathable, but this means that they allow body hair to poke through much more...which can be an issue for some people.

It runs small, but it's stretchy. The waffle weave is a little rougher than I'd like, and after 6 months it developed one small hole, but overall, not a terrible shirt. The collar is prone to flipping up at the corners, which is kind of a annoying.I like the cut and fit, but I hoped for better material and construction.

The large size is a lot wider than the older ones I bought a year+ ago. It's the same with the Green one I bought in the same order- too wide and fat.It's like the size charts for Americans keep getting wider and fatter and the sizing for these shirts go along with it, what a shame :(

These are great shirts... when they fit right. Unfortunately, the fit is inconsistent from one shirt to the next. Of the six I have ordered, three fit perfect, three were too small. Will probably start looking for another brand.

Always read reviews before you make a purchase! I was in such a hurry to buy some Ralph Lauren polo shirts that I didn't give so much as a glance to the reviews here. Now I know that was a mistake. I ordered these shirts because I saw the pictures which ar first looked like a ralph lauren logo, but was instead an off brand copy-cat. I hate to be that person, but if I wore this around some friends, people who know what the REAL ralph logo is, I'd be ridiculed or called cheap. It's VERY noticeable and diferrent in person. I don't plan on wearing this around people I know, but if I'm going somewhere new or unimportant I will. The shirt quality is decebt, but not anywhere near as good as a real polo, which I will hbe buying instead next time (after reading reviews of course).

I'm returning these. Bought three in different colors for my husband for Christmas and already know he won't like them. The colors are nice and that's about it. The fabric is heavy, stiff, and scratchy. The XL is huge. He wears L or XL depending on the designer and where the shirts are made. He's 5'10 and a bit over 200 if that helps. These are definitely on the large side in my estimation.

I purchased a shirt in a medium size but the tags on the inside were different from one another. The tag on the back of the collar said medium but the tag on the inside left seam said small. Clearly the shirt was a small and was very tightly fitted from the other two mediums I purchased that were true medium sizes.

I wear an XLT 'slim' 'athletic' or 'tailored' fit in the vast majority of my shirts, so I bought this shirt in an XL 'Modern' fit. Don't make the same mistake. You can still see me sinking in the quick sand. Don't follow me. Don't even try to find a branch or a rope or anything. Just walk away. The length was fine, but it was maybe a Medium in every other dimension.

I thought I was ordering Men's Size XL as stated in the title description.However, the packaging for the shirts I received said Young Men's Size XL.They are much slimmer than normal Men's Size XL.If you want slim shirts you might like these, but they were way too tight on me.Tried the first one on, and my wife IMMEDIATELY says, "No! No! Are you sure those are MEN'S XL? That's way too tight!"

I am always looking for an affordable polo shirt that is a slimmer fit and decent quality but this one didn't fit the bill. The fit was nice and slim which was great but the quality of the shirt was lacking, even at the $12 price that I paid. To begin with, the collar is way too big and flimsy. Take a closer look at the photo and I think it will be noticeable, it had a collar that was more appropriate for the 70's. Secondly, one of the sleeves had a larger opening than the other. Lastly the material seemed pretty thin. I did also order some of the Lee Uniform pants and was pleased with those but this shirt was something that I had to return.

I just ordered this shirt for my 14 year old son's middle school graduation. When I received it (as I do all clothes I purchase new) I washed it and it came out with a huge faded looking stain on the front and it has never been worn and there is no reason on my end that the stain should have been there! Otherwise would have been a nice shirt except for the fact that it wrinkles way too much.

Looks old and faded. I had on an old black button up when I receive the package. My old shirt looks newer than my new shirt. Sad.

The shirt must have been in storage for several years. When I took the size tag off the shirt, the glue holding the tag stayed on the shirt. I removed the glue as best I could then washed it 3 times. Traces of glue is still on the shirt. I may have to throw this away or use it for working around the house. Can't wear it to work this way.

I've had the shirt for almost 2 months. Only been washed like 4 times and now there's a hole in it by the collar buttons. The shirt collar fits weird. It curls up too much and doesn't look good. You get what you pay for and if you shop the sales you can buy a designer shirt with a great fit and materials for the same price.

I bought three of these thinking i was getting a deal. Don't waste your money like i did.Don't buy this product unless you fall into one of two categories: 1) You are looking for a cheap shirt for a high school or college boy to wear. 2) You are man who is used to working in factories and warehouses.In the pictures, this shirt appears soft and sleek. It is anything buy. The actual shirt does not have that shine to it. Rather the shirt appears slightly more dull. Also, it does not hang nicely on the body. It is rather bulky and boxy. The fabric being rather heavy and the cut of the shirt both contribute to the cheap, boxy appearance.Furthermore, the shirt shrinks and the fabric gets even worse after washing. Having read the reviews prior to purchase warning that the shirt could shrink, i was careful to use cold water and to air dry. The shirt still shrunk considerably. And now the shirt does not appear shiny at all and it feels rough against the skin.I should have returned these, but I thought i'd keep them for yard work or for trips to our warehouses in Mexico. I won't really care if they get sweaty, dirty, or destroyed.Note: I have shirts from Target, Eddie Bauer, TJ Max and other such stores all made better than these.

Was marked XL but fit like a L. Once washed, it turned into a M (kept it's proportions, though). Was also infested with loose threads and erratic sewing. Even being cheap, it's a waste of money.

When people say they run small, I believe that is an understatement. I bought 3 XLs because I typically like my shirts a little big, but since they "run small" I figured an XL would fit just right. This turned out to be a poor assumption... I can barely even get the shirt on. If you are dead set on buying these shirts, get it twice the size you would normally get.

Great quality, good cut, nice material ... but I wear a large in US Polo, Ralph Lauren, Ogio, Hanes, etc., etc. and even the XL was too small for my shoulders and chest. This is a youth sized product. I guess I didn't realize that there was a "Misses" equivalent for menswear, but here we are.

Wasn't anything close to XXL. Maybe a large or medium. Will return it if I can remember how. I buy most of my clothes through Amazon, this is the first time it was clearly mislabeled by the manufacturer, but I believe the distributor knew why they got them so cheap
