Okay, they look really cool, but they are as sharp as they look! No pressure needed to cut something, does combine into one which make it pretty awesome. The case might need replacing because of how sharp these blades are! Awesome gift

the sword that we recieved was a amazing set, it was a friend for my best friend and he absolutely loves it. i would post some pictures but i dont actually own it!. tip, if it doesnt come good send it back and get another. this pair is a good pair regardless of other reviews, however like most sword holsters its not strong enough to hold the tip and the tip will slide through it so be careful when putting it inside!

These swords are epic, not only do they look good, but if you sharpen them a little, they are viciously practical, I have 3 acres of land in my house, and instead of using a machete for cutting branches and small trees, I used these...and darn...I was so surprised of they made very short work of anything I cut, from plantain trees, to thick coconut branches, these are a must for collecting or practical home defense or outdoor activities, and the serrated part is so sharp and deadly it can cut your Own arm with just 2 tugs, not that I would even try haha, overall, a must for sword lovers!

For a cosplay sword, this looks to be and handle better than others and will give years of service. It's also Very sharp and can do a lot of damage in a real fight. Should you hit anything solid with it, you may well permanently bend it to uselessness as it's only stainless and not something like laminated or spring steel. The handle is a cheap wrap and comes apart easily which should be addressed with some type of clear sealant that will bond it permanently to the metal and possibly give a better grip. If it weren't for the protector on the tip of the blade the sheath wouldn't stand a chance, being in serious need of some type of liner to keep the point and blade edge from cutting it to uselessness.

Very, very sharp and have a good weight to them. I want to re-wrap the handles because the cloth is very thin. It almost as if you are just holding the metal. The blades are too sharp for the sheath. I can't stand people that take off stars for a blade being too sharp. I had laid the blades on the ground inside of the sheath. As I was walking by, I accidentally grazed the sheath with my foot and felt something hot on the side of my foot. When I looked down, the blade had sliced through the sheath and my foot. I barely grazed the blade and have been extremely careful ever since.

Beautiful futuristic blade my son loves it he's gotten a little carried away with it so now it is a display piece. He pulled it out to chop watermelons and a half he gets a real kick out of it

Okay, holy crap this thing is awesome! It honestly looks just like the pictures, and has the sharpness to boot!The thing is most as long as my arms (but I'm not sure just how much water that holds since I'm short!) It was a great cosplay edition for my friend's suit. He definitely appreciated the look. And since the price was relatively low, I was able to get him two, no problem!I will say there are only two cons I found. Since these do have some steep ridging (for the shape, not on the blade itself) it was a bit hard to resheath back into the provided sleeves. (Which are made of a plastic that isn't too strong, but I figured that's why the swords are a lot cheaper. It did tear upon resheathing, but held its shape pretty well, so it wasn't too bad). The other con being that the packaging for these swords is in a thick styrofoam, that tears pretty easily in the box, which makes a load of mess when opened (which isn't too bad, it's just something worth noting!)I can't really make any calls on its overall durability, since I'd given them to a friend, or on their outdoor reliablity; but, in the short time I'd had them, I thought they were great! I probably wouldn't take these to the woods or anything, but they do make aome pretty gnarly decorations! 😁

The sword came in a great condition dispite it being a bit dirty, although that's nothing that couldn't be solved with a rag and some soap. It's somewhat sharp, but it won't cut something unless you put some extra effort into using it as cutlery or for some lessurely swordplay. It came with a sheath made of a semi-stiff material which should mantain its durability through multiple uses, so long as it's not used excessively. The strap is a small, short strap with a clip rather than an over the shoulder strap that you see in most movies and TV shows, although you could clip it to your belt or hang it on your shoulder. It's still a great deal for the quility of the product.

Most of the reviews posted here are from PEOPLE WHO DON"T ACTUALLY OWN ONE OF THESE SWORDS. I can tell this by the factual errors they propagate after making a quick gloss of the other erroneous reviews, then summarizing them under the pretense that the writer actually knew what he/she was talking about. Let me correct some of the most fatuous errors: 1. The hilt end (better known as the POMMEL) IS NOT SHARP, so you will not cut yourself on it. If you are concerned that you (or your baby brother) might stupidly gouge out an eye with it, you can wrap the entire end with leather for extra protection, but the rest of us who aren't idiots won't need to do that. 2. The body of the blade is flat in cross-section, not diamond-shaped like a medieval sword. That's because this is a modern weapon built more like a machete, not some imported renaissance faire knock-off junk. 3. The entire sword from tip-to-pommel is ONE SOLID PIECE OF 3/32nd Inch-thick STAINLESS STEEL with an anodized black finish. It HAS NOT BEEN SPOT WELDED AT THE HANDLE END (...unless you got a reSold sword that someone broke, tried to fix with mediocre welding skill, then resold to you). It costs money to weld metal and a sword maker will not add welding to a weapon's production steps if he can fashion it all in one piece (and thereby save himself money) as well as strengthen the overall weapon. 4. The scabbard is made of standard black CORDURA WOVEN-NYLON CANVAS and is not "paper thin"; the only way you will poke a hole in it is by stupidly shoving the blade in upside-down (contrary to the curve at the end). I've sheathed the sword many times (properly) without the slightest noticeable scabbard wear. The notches in the blade make it a bit tricky to re-sheathe, but the blade has NEVER hung-up in the scabbard while being drawn. True, the sword handle-wrap is made of 1/8th-Inch black para-cord, but the wrap on mine is quite tight and holds well in place because there is a recess/notch cut into the body of the sword to keep the cord from slipping. I might eventually replace it with leather wrap when the cord wears out, but that will be years, possibly a decade or more in the future. The handle has been fitted with a form-fit slab on both sides and is THICK enough to accommodate comfortably someone like me with XL Glove-sized hands and will give you a firm gripping surface. BTW...I personally don't care for "pimped-up" weapons, so if you don't like the cheesy looking red "racing stripe" on the flat of the blade, you can very easily scrape it off, as I did, with a fingernail leaving no damage to the blade's finish. The blade is definately a utility blade, rather than a trophy-case Honey, but it seems as sturdy as any typical camp machete. PLUS this item was well-engineered by people who apparently put some time and thought into its good design. And that, my friends, is also a form of beauty.

These are quite nice. Decent balance and not too heavy. The only issue I have with mine are that the sheath is garbage (better off either reinforcing with leather or making your own), and the embedded magnets are not the right direction (they repel, causing them not to stick right).

Their Ok, I probably would have bought a a different sword but I'll stick with em. Sword itself is full tang which is cool but the wrap they give you blows, Solution.. wrap your own paracord handle... and my only other complaint is the sheath is soomeing you throw away after putting the swords in it 1 or 2 times. What do you expect, its made in China ;) overall its a good product considering the price and where it comes from.

Good! Great swords awkward handle. But nice shipped in grease. Magnetic circle on the blade very thin and the blades curve out a little. As sharp as a dull knife. But for the price they are good. Wood recommend but they will not last in a zombie war. Good sword art. But that's it. You wouldn't be able to get them out of the poorly made sheath fast enough before a zombie bit down on your arm. The sheath is horrible the minute I put the blade back in the made a whole right through the shoulder strap is not big enough for your back which is dumb because I'm 5"6 so it should fit? But for a wall mount cool. I gave it 4 stars because the blades themselves are nice.

Ok first off I just want to say that I love these blades... but I must say that the quality of the black cord wrapped handle and the sheath are very crappy. I'm going to redo the handle and make a sheath but for the price of the blade I guess you can't expect it to be top quality. Still love it though.

I would have liked a better sheath for it but... the blade is sharp and the price is right and I got a buckskin i can use to make a nice sheath.

Nice looking, as well as *really* sharp. Holds an edge well too. I used it to trim some bushes and trees in my yard. It is still sharp enough to cut completely thru a 1 inch diameter tree limb in a single stroke. Good weight, nice balance. Only bad thing is, for any serious use, you will need to add some padding to the handle, which is a bit narrow, and not at all comfortable to hold for any continuous use. I used some duct tape and cotton balls. It's not the most elegant thing in the world, but it is much more comfortable to hold and use now.

Sword was good, blade wasnt sharp definitely needs to be sharpened but the tip is razor sharp so be careful. the holder tore on day 2 and the blade slid right through it so be careful when you put it in! dont make the same mistake i did. otherwise the sword is extremely well, if it isnt for you then send it back and get another! :D

This is a really good sword, it has a great quality to it, the only problem you'll have as a customer, is the freaking sheath, when the blade is returned to it, it is not in a nice, smooth, one motion flow, it gets stuck. Nonetheless you're really getting your money's worth for a nice quality product, if you're thinking about purchasing, do it, you won't be disappointed,...........in the sword. The sheath will anger you though lol.

I got what I expected. Its not particularly sharp, but it is pointy. The decal isn't it great shape, but I don't particularly care about that too much. The handle is good so far, I'll edit this if it starts to fall apart, but so far so good. And if the sheath thing is a deal breaker for you, then don't get it. The sword had already poked through when it arrived at my door. Don't expect the sword to slip right into the sheath either. Because of the curve you have to push the back of the blade as far as you can against the sheath, and then kind of wiggle it in because of the way that the spine is designed.

Bought this as a gift, although I'm considering getting another for myself now.-The blade itself is fairly sharp; full tang and sturdy, a bit thicker than expected of stainless steel.-The overall design is eye-catching and unique, with pointy cutouts and the painted flame above the handle.-The handle wrapping is a pretty tight-wound cord, but the material feels as if it might slip your palm from fatigue after a while.-The sheath could've used a bit more attention, but it does the job of protecting the blade from outside elements and (if worn carefully) may be used for light-use carrying.Overall, a good show piece and possible backyard cutter. Well worth the price.

Swords feel nice, good wrapping. Magnets are placed wrong so they don't match up perfectly. Sheath is garbage, swords poke right through it.

I am sure you are not expecting anything beyond cosplay quality here. They are just fancy machetes but make a real nice addition to your Green Arrow or Resident Evil cosplay outfit.

These blades are most definitely for display. They look decent, and are actually magnetic. They'll attach to each other. They're very dull though, but again that's because they're for display. You may be able to get some use out of them, but I wouldn't try it unless I absolutely necessary, as they bend quite easily. For the money, it's a decent buy I suppose.

These look nice and the magnet idea is great, but the swords poked through the end of the sheath (which is kinda cheap) and the magnets are on the wrong side (not on the flat side to the two blades don't connect correctly - they are opposite so points don't line up). This is just a poor attention to detail.

The blades are ok. The Strap is I think on the shorter than I would have liked. But, the tip of the blades arrived already poking through the sheath. There is no extra material to keep the tips from poking through. And the tips were shipped without plastic tips to prevent the puncturing through. So, I would recommend that the manufacture in China to make a better sheath, especially the end where the tips are, to reinforce it.

I was disappointed because they are so much smaller than in the picture, but they still are 27" they are just really thin. The sheath is bad quality the rope that goes around your shoulder is really short, and the strap that holds the swords in is very fragile around the button. Other than the sheath and how small they are they're pretty good.

This blade was was sent as expected with the sheath though after a couple of days the product bent at the sharp end. when it arrived it wasn't very sharp so I had to sharpen it overall it was ok and it was relatively worth it.

The sword is awesome but the sheath it comes with is cheap and horrible. The sword cut through it after about 4 uses.

The sword is everything that it said in the description, which I really enjoyed. My main problem, though, was that when it arrived, the sheath was torn to hell. It was too tight and the blade would barely slide back into it without tearing right through it like wet tissue paper. I guess the product was as it advertised, so that's good, but still.

interesting gift but somewhat less cool that you can tell that it was probably cut out of a large flat piece of metal side-by-side with hundreds of others and just machine bladed but all in all it does not look like it's going to fall apart on you like some of the samurai swords I've seen in stores for hundreds of dollars over the years

Very nice sword, but the wrapped handle is a quick problem. Could be easily fixed if replaced with a leather handle? I'm not sure, but the wrap comes undone very easily. I do like the sword its self however, and love to show it off. But again, it needs a new handle wrap.ALSO I absolutely abhor the nylon sheath. Worst idea sense clothes! lol. The first time I sheathed my sword I cut right through the sheath. I would advise if you are going to order this product, to custom make your own leather sheath AND handle. But the blade its self is not bad.Over all, I wouldn't buy it again.

Very sharp but if you chop at anything too big the handle breaks. Also the grips suck but you can make better ones with some paracord.

Not at all what I expected. The sheath is practically useless, without actual point guards on the blades they cut right through the shoddy material. Not survival ready.

Box arrived looking great, no indents or indications of rough handling. So when I opened the blades up and discovered the mangled tips, one bent so badly it was literally a hook, and stuck into the wrappings and sheath, I was disappointed to say the least. Then when I placed the blades together I found the magnets installed had been done so backwards and they repel each other. I will be returning these, won't be buying them again.

These are easily sharpened. They are meant to be two blades and can be combined together to use as one. The problem is that they have magnets in them and the poles are backwards, so instead if clasping together, they try to push apart not allowing the two to line up properly.

They look nice, but the magnet located towards the tips aren't aligned which makes them look crooked when you put them together. Maybe it's just mine though?

I ordered the 2 tone silver blades and paid more for these than the solid black blades. However I was sent the black blades. When i contacted the seller, i was told that once i sent the blades back, they would send me the ones that i had actually ordered. When i attempted to send them back, the shipping was going to cost over 9 dollars total, so i decided to just keep them.Now on to the product itself. The blades were relatively good quality and sharp. the sheath was a little on the cheesy side, but functional. I gave these to my brother in law as a birthday gift and he was extremely happy with them.

It has a long thin crack down the blade. Nice display piece though.

I received the sword today. I had a hard time removing the sword from the sheathe. Once I removed, I saw the reason for the difficulty. The tip of my sword was bent completely perpendicular. Very disappointing.

Its a 20 dollar sword. don't be surprised when you're disappointed. Its a laser cut chunk of metal with a poorly wrapped handle and a horrible sheath.

I've paid anywhere from 10 dollars to 200 dollars for swords, and as far as cheapies go, this is a ten dollar sword tops. I've gotten a lot better swords for less. Yes it's a cheapie but as long as they come sharp and in new condition, collectors are content with cheapies. This one came dull, scratched and wholly unremarkable, even for a cheap sword. If I'd seen it in local flea market even for $10 I probably would've passed on it. So there you go ... Try a different cheapie. There ARE good ones on here!

One of the worst products I've ever bought it is a complete lie it is not a full piece of metal that makes up the sword handle is very weakly welded on to the blade and brakes very easily be careful if you buy one

The blades have one magnet in them each, they're supposed to stick to each other. Instead, whoever made this forgot that same side magnets push away from each other.Blades do not fit together.

Came bent at the ends, and it punches right through the plastic pieces meant to keep it from slashing through the holster.

Broke within 20 minutes. Was a gift for grandson who didn't know I could have returned them so he threw the pieces away and I am just now learning about it. I quizzed him and his older brother (both mature enough to own a machete) and was told the "little branch" that caused the breakage was later chopped off "with one whack" by a better made machete their dad got them. Dad agreed this is a poorly made item.

There are magnets at the end of the blades. The sheth will be riped the second you stand it up or carry it with the blades facing down. And the handles are flat on one side. I would never use these in a real combat situation (would have no grip on the sword)

I received the wrong item. how they mix up the Red Flame Fantasy Sword with a wooden sword blows my mind..... I was actually ready to get the sword, but with this mix up, I don't even care anymore.. my friends are bummed also because they wanted to see it. I guess the ones who mixed up my order don't even care.... it wasn't there hard earned money spent...

Complete garbage. The blade I received had paint blistering and rust on it. It was gonna be a Christmas present but I decided just to get something else because of how s***ty this was.

this thing is just BAD, if u want a sword save your money and spend at least $50. dont just buy parasitically. i hit a tree branch and it bent the blade. i stabbed the tree in frustration and it broke the tip of the blade off completely. just a very bad buy. really if you want something cheap to swing around just go get a wooden stick from your yard and swing it around. you'll have the same effect but you will still have $30. If you buy this your an baka so yeahhhh that sums this up....

Its just a fancy looking machete. Price is about right but I wouldnt recommend it,for anything but cutting down weeds.

The red design on the side was literally coming off!!! It looked as though I painted it with nail polish!!!!! Peeling of design for a christmas gift to my brother???? Glad to think Amazon is ok with their products falling apart!!! Wish I could show you all the pictures I took in my frustration!! Money back??? I wish!

When I received the sword, it arrived in a big Amazon box. The Amazon box was totally intact, but inside was another flimsy box containing the "Fantasy Sword". I eagerly removed the plastic film covering the sword and immediately noticed that the sword was cracked. I have ordered quite a few knives and swords, but this is the first time, that one arrived cracked. Obviously this crack in the metal, renders this sword as useless. Just not was I was expecting, to say the least.
