Choosing Hue vs Sheec: pros and cons
September 3, 2016
I bought these Hue sock liners after buying one made by Sheec. They are both good choices, and I will wear both.
The Hue socks have a thin elastic all around the top, and cover more of the foot. The Sheec socks are cut lower (toes show), with a very thin loose elastic around the top and some silicone dots at the bottom under the ball of the foot. Both brands have grippy silicone at the heels.
Choose the Hue ones if you want more coverage or care most about the socks never slipping off your foot, and the Sheec ones if you care most about the sock not showing at all or find elastic irritating.
The photo shows the difference (I have a 7M foot, bought the small size in both brands). With the shoes shown, either brand worked OK.

These are great, better than the PEDS version of the same sock because the rubber adhesive in the heel is much larger so it stays up better. Photo comparison for reference, sock with the larger adhesive section is this product.
Good fit, color, durability
August 30, 2014
I got the assorted nude/black in size s/m. For reference, wear a 7.5-8 shoe and have a normal-wide foot. It was important to me that these socks are at 2/3 cotton and they seem to be an ideal thickness. Compared to similar Calvin Klein socks, which are one size fits all, I noticed that these Hue socks are much more durable around the toes (the CK socks are a looser knit to begin with and got quite thin around the toe).

To clarify the review about sizing, I ordered size 1 on amazon and got the s/m size as intended. It appears that this has been straightened out. According to the package, s/m corresponds to shoe size 4-7, while m/l corresponds to 7-10. While I technically bought the wrong size, I'm glad I went with the smaller ones because they feel comfortable and have a proper ballet fit. I imagine that this varies with the size and shape of your foot and that people in the 6.5-8.5 shoe range would be ok with either size. In my experience smaller socks also stay on better but your mileage may vary.

I've had similar socks that had a more elastic band around the top which was a little uncomfortable and made the rest of the sock bunch. These socks are uniformly stretchy and seem to stretch in every direction. Big plus.

The nude socks are a reasonable skin color and a good match for my fair skin.

The gummy stuff in the back is plentiful.

This is my new brand of choice.
Take a chance...
March 9, 2014
I have NEVER used these types of shoe liners before but I recently got orthodics that I like to wear in my mary janes and synthetic insoles ALWAYS stink up FAST when I don't wear socks so I decided to get these to see if it would delay this inevitable result. So far so good. I wear a 10.5-11 womens and I ordered the Size 2. They stay up because at the back of the heel it has this little rubber film, however where the seam of the elastic meets, it usually digs into my skin and starts to make it sore. These were just a hair to tight for me and that's why I'm giving 4 stars.

4/9/14 Update: When I wrote the review above, I had only worn these brand new, never washed. I recently went to Target and saw some liners that looked promising. They were less expensive than these and came in a pack of 3 in pink, black and white. They were 100% synthetic material and also had a little rubber pad at the back of the heel. They felt better when wearing them at first, but they kept slipping off my heel. GRRRRRRRRR. Also, I could not get them to stay hidden when wearing my mary janes no matter what. ALSO my feet sweat a lot in them which I felt didn't happen in these. I had worn a pair for about 2+ days without them getting stinky. (yeah, I know, gross and TMI) I did not take a chance with the Target ones. All in all, I felt I wasted my money on the target ones and here I am buying another set of these. One more thing, after I washed them and wore them, I did not have any problem with the seams and they didn't feel as tight. Who knew? I wore them with the same shoes so I know it wasn't a shoe issue. The rubber heel slip protector is about 3 times the size on these than they are on the Target ones. I changed my rating to 5 stars.
PERFECT no-show socks
February 21, 2013
These were exactly what I was looking for:
-they DON'T fall off your feet because of the adhesive portion in the heel
-they DON'T show on even my most open flats
-they're comfortable and light enough that my feet can breathe (and don't sweat) in them
-my toes don't feel cramped when I wear them

I wear an 8 or 7.5 and got the M-L size which fits perfectly.

Absorbent and No Show
June 11, 2017
I wear a size 9.5 and purchased the medium/large size. These do a great job of not showing in my flats as long as I adjust them correctly when I first put them on. Over time and many washes they have shrunk a bit and sometimes I have to pull them up by my heel. The grippy silicone keeps them up the majority of the time. I like that they are cotton and do a good job of absorbing moisture. Some liners are a blend and don't absorb as much. My flats definitely last longer and don't get as stinky!
Good socks
May 23, 2017
Overall, these are comfortable, well-made socks, and the silicon patch at the back does keep the sock from sliding off the foot. If your feet are in the larger size of the range, however, you may find that the heel elastic cuts into the back of the heel. Socks like this, that are meant to be invisible in shoes, should probably have a larger range of sizes since "one size fits all" usually means "no size fits just right"....just saying.
Overall recommend! Great product!
June 13, 2016
I bought these liners to wear with some flats that are too uncomfortable to wear barefoot. They provide a comfortable barrier between my foot and the shoe. No more blisters! The "sticky" part inside the heel helps keep the liner in place.

The only complaint that I have is that the left liner elastic digs into my skin just above the heel. My left foot is slightly longer than my right, so I think that's the reason. I never have this issue on my right foot.

Overall I recommend! Great product!
size 1 is a small but still showed when wearing my shoes
July 10, 2015
I purchased the assorted 4pk and received two black and two nude pairs. I wear a 6.5 and ordered size 1 which is a size small, but these are slightly too big for me (the sock shows through). They stay put pretty good, and seem to be good quality, so I can still wear them with other shoes. I like the rubber thing on the back of the heal area - it helps to keep the sock in place and you don't even feel it. I would still recommend these.

Not the same as sold in USA department stores
July 14, 2017
I purchased the same item in a department store. They worked beautifully and did not show in my shoes. I was very excited to find these onAmazon. Sadly these were a little larger and will show in my shoes. Since I had opened all of them thinking I would keep them, I did not return this item. However, during Amazon Prime I ordered another set before I had worn this set. I did return the 2nd set.

June 24, 2017
They just won't stay on my heels. I am kind of in the middle so I went with the smaller size. If I walk, then its just a matter of time before they slide off. Frustrating but haven't made an attempt to find something better. They still serve their purpose as a sock and I sit most of the day at work so I am tolerating.
Just OK
January 15, 2017
They fit ok. I don't normally wear liners but wanted to have something to wear with my black sneakers that weren't socks. They have a "rubber" spot on back which I find odd feeling, It's to prevent the liners from sliding around.
Not the socks I thought I purchased
April 23, 2016
I ordered these socks previously and received the HUE brand that I was expecting. I was happy with the HUE socks so ordered them again, but the HUE socks are NOT what I received.
Still show in my flats, but a good liner
October 18, 2015
I bought these to wear with my flats and heels. They still show in my shoes ( I bought these so my socks wouldn't show!). I wear a shoe size 7, so I bought the small/medium. They fit great and stay up due to the rubber adhesive thing at the back of the liner. I'll still wear them, even if they show as it doesn't bother me much, but next time, I'll make sure to order a smaller size to make sure the liner does disappear.
Socks Ride Up
February 19, 2015
These are comfy and the back of the sock stays put due to the adhesive, but the toe of the sock rides up so it is visible when wearing certain shoes. I was hoping they would hide under my Tory Burch flats but unfortunately not...

These socks seem well made and do the job of ...
November 29, 2016
These socks seem well made and do the job of covering my foot while staying invisible inside my shoes. But the elastic all around the top of the sock cuts into my feet, especially at the heel, and is very uncomfortable after several hours at the office. If I hadn't tried another brand (Stomper Joe) I would probably think this was a normal price to pay for a sock that stays put on just the bottom and sides of my foot. But Stomper Joe socks also stay put and don't cut into my foot painfully so I'm going with that brand instead.
Good function but elastic is too tight
July 15, 2016
These socks fit the purpose of lining your feet inside flats, however the edges of the sock dig into your feet very severely. While the sock itself is not too large for my foot and fits nicely underneath my flats (so that it can't be seen), I end up with harsh lines on my foot from the elastic around the edges of the socks. I also experience some discomfort from them starting around lunchtime if I am wearing them for the duration of a standard work day. I intend to wear these socks until they are worn out, but I would not buy this brand of socks again.
Bummed - not what I hoped for
June 18, 2016
Overall these socks fit well but I was hoping that they would be more concealed when I wear my flats. I purchased the 4 pack (the one on the right in the photo). The package on the left is from an in store purchase (peep-toe). As you can see the packaging has a diagram of their various products. My hope was that I purchased the 'hidden' version of these socks. What was sold to me on Amazon was the 'classic' style. It is possible that the company has recently added this new diagram (the diagram does not exist on the package for Amazon). My suggestion, if you really want the hidden socks, is take time to search for the correct ones. That is what I will be doing.
No good :(
December 2, 2015
I wear a size 9 shoe, average width foot, and I bought these in a medium/large. The elastic band on these is way too thick, to the point of hurting the back and sides of my feet where it digs in. I don't have wide/pudgy feet and I've never had this problem with liners before so I thought the other reviews warning about this wouldn't apply to me. But heed the warnings! They also cover a lot more of the top of my foot than they appear in the photo (the photo looks as if they only cover the toes, but they actually cover 1/3 of my foot) so even if I could stand to wear them, they wouldn't look good at all with the moccasins I bought them for. .I will say that the material is pretty nice. They're thicker than most liners and I really wish they fit because I can tell they'd last a long time, IF they could be worn for longer than an hour without discomfort.
Falling apart already
April 5, 2015
First of all, I just want to say that discovering these socks existed changed my life. I have sweaty feet, and I always ruin my flats and heels by not wearing socks with them. These are awesome, for the most part don't slide down, and have saved my shoes and that "slippery feeling."However, I have two issues. First of all, I wish these came in more of a blush nude color, since the beige nude is very obvious and silly-looking when it peeks out from certain of my shoes against my pinkish feet. I can totally deal with that though, just a cosmetic thing. The second, bigger issues, is that these were expensive - and already falling apart! I paid sixteen bucks for these, which is more than they are priced at now, and I only got two pairs. I think I washed this pair (in photo) only twice, and already the elastic broke and they are unwearable. I tried to return/replace them, but I missed the return date by five days. I can't even figure out how to contact the seller to make a complaint about it. I wouldn't mind so much except they cost so much! Sad.
They show quite a bit
May 12, 2014
I bought what I thought was the same product a year ago (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002HJ3DII/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), and those fit well and don't show under any of my flats. However, these ones all show quite a bit. I wear a size 7.5 and bought the small liners. I suppose it's possible that washing them will make them shrink and not show, but I think I will just return them and try getting the same ones I got before.I also bought the Sheec version, and those also don't show at all, but I thought the HUE ones were slightly more comfortable: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008G29CVW/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Nothing But Problems
May 26, 2017
Nothing but problems. 1st, I'm a size 9 to 9.5 with average to narrow width feet. These socks are too tight and cut into my heal area. 2nd, they decided to have the elastic ends meet on the back (heel) area - offset by maybe an inch from back center. That creates a knot in the sock that rubs my foot. 3rd 4 hours into wearing them I found a small hole on the bottom the one of the socks. I took them off at that point and just tossed them. I bought a M/L. Sizing said it fits from 7 / 10. With a 3 size span you have to expect that either the smaller end of the scale would be too big or the larger too small. I'm donating the other 3 pairs to good will. Maybe someone else - with smaller feet can use them.
Cheap, tiny, shoddy
May 16, 2016
1 star only because 0 isn't an option. Blech. First, my order took over 3 weeks to reach me - from China or ? Second, I ordered these specifically because they come in 2 sizes. I wear size 10 shoes so ordered the larger size. A joke. These might fit a size 5 or smaller, but they are totally inadequate and barely go on my foot, where they proceed to slip off. Even the width is ridiculous. I don't have wide feet, but these can't even cover all my toes and barely cover the bottom of my foot. Do not buy these cheap knock-offs. I honestly can't believe I even received the same product some others have positively reviewed. I have some other store-purchased liners and ALL of those are 100% better than this shody project. I would return but hardly worth my trouble to re-package and wait months for a refund; probably what they count on.
These are NOT the HUE brand.
April 25, 2016
These are NOT HUE brand. The ones I received are a knock off branch from China. All of the packaging is in Chinese.
These weren't Hue socks and are not useable for me
April 18, 2016
I did not receive Hue brand socks and they look nothing like the picture. They shipped from China and all the writing on them is Chinese so I'm not sure what brand they are. They are thin and completely see through like black nylons. They cover half my foot so they are extremely obvious with ballet flats and even show with women's loafers. I have real Hue socks that I bought in a store that are great and seems like other people got the real thing; I don't know what I got but they are not Hue and they are not good. I requested a return and waiting to hear back.
Problem for those with small feet... Problem for those with large feet!
September 19, 2015
I bought these socks since I"ve bought HUE no-show socks before. The kind I had before was great--never had any problems with them and I've had them for years. But, me being disorganized with my laundry, 3 pairs slowly dwindled to 1.5 pairs. So I bought these socks in S/M thinking they would be fine. I have two big problems with them:1) The elastic is extremely tight. I have small feet--I wear a size 5. The elastic on these were squeezing my feet so badly--I can't even wear them through a day--maybe 3 hours. After I take them off, you can see a huge, red, dented outline of where the socks were. HUE has redesigned their socks from having a thicker, more adaptable elastic, to a thin very strong elastic. If I have slim size 5 feet and think the elastic is too tight, good luck to the rest of you.2) There is too much cloth. So the elastic is too tight, but the socks themselves are too big. This probably won't be an issue for 95% of the people out there--in fact it will probably be a plus--but for those with small feet, their socks are a lot baggier than they used to be.My main issue is with the elastic. All 4 pairs are so uncomfortable, they are unusable a total waste of money. I hope HUE goes to their old elastic soon.
These are not the original HUE liners, quality is severly comprimised.
September 25, 2014
I have be using the Hue cotton liners for many years now and used to purchase them in Macy's department stores. It's been about 2 years since I have needed a new pair so I was unhappy to learn that these have been totally changes. The original liners had 'HUE' written on the bottom, they were extremely comfortable and lasted through washings well. When these arrived, they did not have the 'HUE' written on the bottom so I though they were a knock off until I stopped by a local Macy's to see the one's on there racks were the same as these new ones now. The problem with these is that they are cheaply made! Around the top inner edge there is a seam, the original liners had perfect seams, but all of these liners have seams that overlap where they meet and it causes the extra material to bulge out. Although it may not be very much, IT HURTS. As soon as I put them on I could feel it and when I put my shoe on, those bulges just got pushed harder into my heel. I can't wear these and it really sucks because I use to swear by these as the only ones I'd wear. Good job to the distributor for allowing the quality to slip - you've lost a customer!!! Now I have to go and find a new brand.
