My cats like these.Much cheaper for me to buy from Amazon than my local store. It's about 2 Xs the price from where I'm from.Cats do not shed with this brand's canned cat food.Great taste (according to my cats. They don't talk to me, it's just that I notice that they quickly gobble up their food. Maybe I'm not feeding them enough?)I mix one can with any dry cat food from this brand.

Great Price and it arrived on time and at my door step. So much easier than lugging cases of cat food from the shelf to the cart, to the conveyer belt, back into the cart, into my trunk, and finally into my basement. Saves me so much time and work with 8 cats.

My experience with two vets was that I DID NOT learn from them the connection between carbs in cat food, and diabetes. So when diabetes was diagnosed in my two oldest cats, they were each on three units each, twice a day. We added this probiotic to help with digestion Vitapet Probiotic Powder Blend For Dogs and Cats with 5 Billion CFU Per Serving. I continue to monitor every couple of weeks, but really don't need to, they have had normal poop and are healthy. Thanks Vitapet!

My cat likes the pate texture/style style best of all the Friskies' canned food, but most grocer's only carry one flavour. I like to think he would prefer a variety, so this multipack is great.Additional bonus: Not only do I not have to deal with unloading and stacking individual cans (as you do if bought from the grocer's), they are delivered right to me and I don't have to carry them around the store, from the store, to the trunk, up to the house, etc.

Years ago I bought cases of the 15oz cans every week for the six cats in the house at the time (my cats, the cats belong to kids at home, and those at college or deployed with the military) every week. Then I switched to much more expensive grain-free products. Over the last six months or so, my guys began refusing the $4 a can stuff until they reached the point they won't touch it, though they did a lot of meowing at breakfast time. In desperation I ordered Friskies (no reasonable places to shop in the area of my current base of operations where I am down to FOUR cat). The guys love it. Go figure. Will be reordering shortly.

we love our pate's, they eat it all up, it provides the moisture they really need, the better brands that are grain free, or more nutritious if they don't get eaten, it doesn't help and cats need the moisture, dry food is not enough, older cats suffer kidney failure due to lack of moisture and good nutrition. I feed a high quality dry food grain free, and mix my Friskies with a higher quality can, we mix it up a bit. they love their Friskies.

I don't review often, but this food is amazing. My cat used to have knots in her fur and matted hair that was difficult to comb through. After eating this food, her fur is silky smooth - truly unbelievable. She is older, but has started playing again, too. What a dramatic change!

My cat had jaundice in her eyes and gums. She'd lost half her body weight. I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with liver disease. The vet made it seem like a death sentence. A friend of mine checked with her friend who's a vet, same feedback. But then online I was reading how a cat can live with the disease, as long as they are getting enough protein. Many posts talked about force feeding their pets, and I couldn't do it. In all the posts I read, there was one that heavily recommended this specific brand and flavor. It is all natural. Honestly, I was willing to try anything. Her interest would perk up for people food. Thinking she was going to die, I literally fed my cat pizza and chicken McNuggets. Again, anything she would entertain eating, I was all about it. She didn't like the wet food I'd gotten her, including the prescription diet emergency food the vet gave me and said, even with no appetite, she'll eat it. Wrong! When her food arrived, I was so excited to pour it in her bowl. She began eating it!!! And about four days later I had to refill her bowl! It's been two months, and she's gained some weight back and I will never buy her another kind of cat food again. It saved her life. The pictures of her are from the first time I fed her this food, and the second is from tonight. Her coat is so much healthier. Thank you Blue Buffalo!!!

Recently caught these on sale here on Amazon so I decided to give it a try because of the quality ingredients. I've always heard good things about this brand but my 10 year old is super finicky about his food and will not eat if he doesn't like what's in the bowl. Arrived today and I took several kibbles to where he was sun bathing and happy to say he gobbled them up as fast as I dropped them as if they were treats. He proceeded to follow me to his bowl meowing for more if he is happy with the ingredient profile then so am I. :)

Also this comes in a nice ziplock style resealable bag for freshness which is a nice touch and saves me from rebagging. We buy in bulk but only 1 cat so always keep pet food bagged inside a larger plastic airtight container. Also very small kibbles so very older cat friendly if anyone reading this has a senior kitty. Will add pics...

My cat used to throw up no matter what type of food I would give her, every single day.

I got this food for my cat about 4 months ago and she hasn't thrown up since! It's truly a miracle knowing that my cat can eat without a problem.

HIGHLY recommended for cats who throw up easily!

After trying many brands of cat food and throwing good money away along with bowls of stale food, I decided to spend the money for the "good stuff ". My daughter in law recommended Blue since her cat is doing so well with it. I chose the sensitive stomach recipe and my cat LOVES it, so no money wasted!

My cats love this food over the more expensive cat foods. The cost was slightly better than the good ol local WM or WC. I was going to do a subscribe option for this, but the price jump of over 6 dollars shot that idea down. I'm going to be looking for cases of single flavor here on Amazon.

My cat likes these. She does like other brands better though. I know cats are just like humans and every one has their own preferences. My cat doesn't like the bits as much as the shreds and she likes any brand that uses a lot of gravy. These are so-so. They dry out if she doesn't eat all of it in the morning. Once it's dry she won't touch it.

My cats favorite canned food. I do not know healthy this is, but it is the only canned food my picky eatters will touch. I have a fifteen year old cat that has been eating this for years so it must not be too bad. She is still as healthy as could be.

My cat likes Friskies, but his digestion has a problem with it. I have no idea how this stuff tastes ( I am not that poor... yet ), but he chows down when I put some out. The problem is that even with a good dry and wet food mix, there is usually a cleaning up problem if you get my drift. so best to choose on the basis of your cats digestion, like anything cat related( especially since I am the cats sole staff person... as they say; dogs have owners ).

I get a 52% better price for the same cat food I would have had to buy in the grocery store, and it's delivered to the Post Office for picking up. I gave 5 stars for the price and took one star away for choosing Fedex for the delivery. Fedex delivered to my door the first time and after that delivered to my Post Office. If you've ever lugged home 5 pallets of canned cat food home you know why I've taken one star away. Felt like a ton instead of 45 lbs. Maybe it's just my age group.

I find this to be a nice middle of the road food for my cats. Reasonable pricing. Lots of flavors and styles.My cats have all day access to dry food. Wet food is a once a day feeding.I use one, easy to open can, for all of them. I empty the food into a cup and add 3 cans of water to it. After mixing it up a bit, I pour the contents into a few different bowls. Something for everyone that way.Some cats seem content to just lap at the water mix. (Another way to get water into these creatures) Some look only for the clumps of food. Another one uses his paw to reach in and grab a clump and eat it off his paw.Rarely is there any left.I have tried more expensive can foods and saw no change in their reaction. If I was only feeding wet food I would probably ind a better quality one. As I do a mix, I am comfortable that they are getting the nourishment they need.The less expensive canned food was always greasy feeling. I will stay with Friskies.

I've been feeding Blue kibbles for a year since I got her as a kitten. She always eats it up right away. However regardless of which variety of cat kibble she usually spits out the darker LifeSource bits. So not sure if that's so great since that's marketed as one of the highlights of this brand of cat food.

My cat does really like this food. The first ingredient is deboned chicken, so it's immediately better than most commercial brands. It also does not have corn (which is great because corn is a completely unnecessary ingredient for cat food).

Coupled with the convenience of dry food, it makes this food one of my favorites to get for my cat. It is easier than feeding raw if you don't have that much time.

Also, I put some water in the kibble or mix with wet. Constantly using dry is bad for your pet's kidneys!

My little guy is pretty picky. He didn't care for it at first even though I gradually introduced small amounts into his usual dry food. He eats it now, but it is blended (1/2 and 1/2) with what he's been accustomed to. It does seem to have a positive effect on the weight control though, even with being blended.

Switched to this brand for my aging cats with sensitive stomachs and have been very pleased. Cats are not experiencing as many negative reactions and I've really noticed an improvement to their coats as a result. Plus, I find they are eating less food. Initially I though this was due to not liking the food, but since they pretty insistent on being fed each morning as they gently herd me towards the food dish within 3 minutes of waking, I think they love this food. I actually tried to switch them to a cheaper option, but that worked out for less than a week. I want to provided quality food and not let cost be too much of a factor so I was also glad to find the bag online for much less than what's at my local store.

My cat really likes this food! When I switched her over without mixing in her previous kitten food, she didn't hesitate to start eating. A lot of the reviews say urinary problems have happened, but my cat's poop went from water to normal after a few weeks of blue buffalo food. Not to mention, her fur is extremely soft!! She's doing great on this food. The only problem I have is that she seems to love it so much that she eats far too fast. The kibble is small enough for her to swallow some whole, but she chews most of them. She hiccups every time she's done eating though, and I'm assuming it's because the kibble is small enough for her to swallow without chewing. I have to watch over her when she eats so that she doesn't vomit from getting one stuck in her throat.

I know this food and have used it many many times in the past. I leave 3 stars not 5 based on the cats liking. But it's consistent and they always eat it just not as desirable as say gravy pleasures. Diabetic cats so wet food is a MUST! Just can't afford expensive food so this is cheap enough and they do eventually eat it, just not as interested in it over other more expensive ones.

I came to change my review for this specific order. My kittens seen not to like it that much. I do not know why. And one more thing, one of my boys ' lower lip got swollen. I don't know what caused that either. Hopefully, it's not the wet food.

Probably a good value, but this was a tough sell to the cats. Pate, it turns out, is not their favorite texture. However they chow down, no prob, on Friskies cans of the probably meatier “shreds” and “bits.”

Normally fluids surrounding the pate when first opened has a gelatinous texture. These seem to be more watery. possibly seconds? nutritionally most likely not much different. maybe something in the shipping changed the consistency. they eat it regardless. due to one of the flavors they will not eat i will go back to "cherry picking" at the store.

Good price only on subscribe & save. Otherwise this is within 2 cents of Wal-Mart pricing. Since you can return dented cans to Wal-Mart with no problems this is an issue when paying full price on Amazon. Otherwise on Subscribe & Save Amazon recommended highly But Amazon seems to take this off subscribe & save at times which is frustrating. Only recommended if on subscribe & save as a 5 star. Otherwise as only 3star if NOT on subscrive & save. Product itself is good & kitties enjoy. Issue here is Amazon pricing if not on subscribe & save.

No weight loss after my cats finished the entire bag. However, they seem to like it and get excited for meal times. The Blue brand tends to use high quality ingredients and I will try another bag. Cat weight loss is supposed to be very slow and it would take my cats almost a year to get to a healthy weight, so I am willing to give this another chance.

I bought this food for my cats in the hopes it would help with their puking all the time. I have one long haired cat that pukes a lot due to hairballs, and one older cat that pukes a lot for apparently no reason. This has reduced the puking a little, though I think it's due to the small size of the pebbles. Haven't noticed much else otherwise.

The food seems to be good quality, so I didn't knock stars off for that. The cats loved it, but one of them started experience what we eventually determined was a food allergy. He started licking his belly and legs like crazy. Swapped the food back out and it's gone away! Really just putting this review out there for people that might be questioning whether or not the food is the source of their cat's discomfort.

So, if your cats can tolerate it, mine loved it!

One of our cats had problems with vomiting and big time diarrhea, so we are switching back to Science diet. I think they all loved the taste of this food and this leads me to think maybe over eating was the problem, but I am not feeding each cat at different times to make sure each gets to eat the same amount. We had no problems with having a bowl of Science diet out at all times for the past 5-7 years.

I listened to the hype on their TV commercials, and read the list of ingredients before purchasing. Saw chicken as the #1 ingredient, and was happy with that. Looking closer after receiving the food and see that cellulose and caramel color are pretty high up on the list.... I just wonder why add them. Ok, this is better than corn as the main ingredient, but as there as dry cat foods available with similar ingredient lists, costing less, I won't be ordering again. Besides, my 4 outside cats don't seem overly impressed with the food.

This stuff STINKS (pate) and it makes their poop smell even worse. I know, just when you think cat poop could smell even worse

Half of the box arrived dented (not unuseable) but otherwise still a good value.

I generally feed my farm cats dry food from an automated dispenser, but I buy cans for when the shy strays that I took in come around will come to me for a treat of canned food, which they love. I bought 2 of these 24 packs and in one of the cases, I just discovered the last can was dented and cracked open at the top, felt empty and smelled disgusting. The outside packing is slightly dented on the 12-pack half box (but on the opposite side). There is no obvious signs of huge leakage in the cardboard packaging, so I don't know if it happened in the factory or during shipment. I threw away the bad can and hope that the other case is OK, as it is still completely sealed since I only use them occasionally. The cats love them, but I am leery of getting damaged/leaky/spoiled cat food on future shipments if I order this again.

My cat Sophie refuses to touch the cheese and turkey combination. She only tolerates the beef and chicken shreds. Maybe your cat has a different palate but i'll have to pass on this one in the future

Wish I had not bought so much. It is a pate (mash) that does not inspire my mutt-cats. They prefer kibble. However, my dog enjoys robbing this from the cats and scarfs it right down.

The pate was not as big of a hit with my maine coon as the shreds are. I purchased this when there were no discounted shreds. On the plus side it took my cat twice as long to go through the package because he wasn't eating as much of it as he does other wet foods. The product turns odd colors after a day in the fridge with a lid on and sometimes smells bad. The aroma is definitely noticeable from across the room and sometimes persists for hours.

I was excited to try this version of the Blue Buffalo brand for my indoor cat. Unfortunately, since starting it, her fur has started to shed, she's gotten extremely dry skin, and the constant scratching has lead to skin lesions. I can see this being great for some cats, but beware of possible allergies, or just a general lack of nutritional support for healthy skin and coat. Blue Buffalo's other adult cat formulas have been wonderful, so we're switching back to those.

I was excited to try this cat food after reading about all of the healthy ingredients and seeing many positive reviews for the brand. Unfortunately, this product just didn't work for our cat. After switching to this product our cat began vomiting on a regular basis and also developed a skin irritation which she did not experience on her previous cat food. I was surprised that she began vomiting because I purchased the sensitive stomach formula. I though it might be coincidence and still continued feeding her this food but the issues have only gotten worse with time. I began searching online to see if this was an issue for other cats and it turns out that there are many other pet parents who have reported similar issues with the brand. Now I will be switching to another food to see if it helps with her stomach and skin issues. I did give the product 2 stars because our cat loved the taste of the food.

This food was fine for one of my cats, but gave the other serious kidney/bladder issues. The vet had us take her off this dryfood altogether as she was presenting with crystals in her bladder, and urine in her blood. She is unable to tolerate a lot of products though, but I wouldn't recommend this if your cat has sensitivity at all. The only thing our cat can have is wet food and Science diet.

Someone told us about how great this product is for cats, compared to what we were previously feeding our cats. They didn't really seem to have any problems with the old food, but we made the switch anyway so they could have better food with better ingredients and maybe help prevent any health issues. After a few weeks of this food, I noticed my cats seemed to be getting skinnier. I did some experimenting and discovered that if I left two bowls out with different food, they will not touch this. If I leave the other bowl out, it's gone in a day. If I leave a bowl of this stuff out, it lasts a lot longer than a day. Turns out, my cats would rather starve than eat this food. The ingredients seems great and all, but the bottom line is that my cats won't eat it. It doesn't matter how great the ingredients are if they don't get into the cats' tummies. My cats are NOT picky eaters. I've had them for years and had to switch foods here and there for different reasons, but never seen them turn down any food (dry, wet, or treats). I also tried a different flavor, same brand, but the salmon flavor made their tummies so sick that my whole house stunk. This brand just doesn't work for us at all.

I went with this brand because it has such a good reputation. I was told by my vet that my cat may have allergies to what she was currently eating, so I switched to this. It gave her a bit of tummy trouble at first, which is common when switching foods, but then her skin began to dry out and get very itchy. She began overgrooming due to the itchiness and almost scab-like skin. There aren't enough Omega fats in this to keep up a healthy coat and skin, as is common with indoor brands. I had to buy several supplements to help with hairballs and get the nutrition that my adult female cat needed. I cannot recommend this and I wouldn't buy it again.

Horrible & disgusting! Received a package and did not open this until that night to feed my kitties. Well, pulled a rotten can out that was moldy and growing fungus thru the bottom of the cardboard. Disgusting & smelled of death! My whole house stunk for a few days and amazon just refunded my $. I lost all faith in my past experience with my deliveries. I feel like they just throw my stuff around. I ordered charcoal tooth whitener and opened the package it came in and it was open and powder went everywhere!

Normally I do not give reviews but I feel that in this case it is a must. The case was enclosed in plastic and had been placed on the spare bed. when I opened it there were hundreds of little flies and larva on the bedspread and the corner of the carton was wet and there were even more inside the box. They are flying throughout the house and I have had to wash the bedspread and blankets.I will no longer buy cat food from Amazon. So beware !

This review is more on the quality of packaging. I had the terrible experience that one can was open inside the box and got to me covered in maggots!!!My cats love this food and I thought this was a convenient option but I guess it is better that I return to the stores.

My cats threw up when they ate this. Either because they're allergic or most likely this tastes like crack to them and they can't eat it fast enough. Def not healthy. Sorry little men...mommy ain't gonna give you mcdonalds everyday. Probs best as a treat every now and then.

I received the box yesterday and 8 of the cans had exploded. There was really no way to return the items so I threw them away. They stunk and were covered with bugs and the rest of the cans were covered with their slime. I was lucky that the rest was even usable.

I purchased this food after very thorough research. Obviously, this has great reviews. Not just on Amazon but on many other websites. My instincts told me not to buy it. Looking at some of the ingredients, I'm thinking hmmm....would my cat really enjoy spinach, pumpkin, cranberries and blueberries? I should have trusted my instincts. My cat is by no means a picky eater AT ALL. I've rarely seen her not eat anything until recently. She has been vomiting and has a sensitive stomach which is why I purchased this. As soon as I mixed it with her old food, she took one whiff and literally ran from the room! RAN! I even tried to mix it with her treats and canned food..she wouldn't even eat that! I even took gravy from her canned food and put it on this food and she still wouldn't touch it! $20 down the drain. So upset. I really hoped that not only would she like this food but that finally I would find a food that after 13 1/2 years would prevent her from throwing up at least 3 times a week (sometimes more or less given the circumstances) because multiple vets can't seem to figure it out.

This food almost killed my cat. My baby got a severe UTI that blocked his bladder. Fortunately I saw his strange behavior before I left for work otherwise he would've been gone by the time I got home. When I took him to the vet she said she unfortunately sees this issue all the time in cats that are fed blue buffalo, specifically because the company doesn't balance the mineral contents properly. And with my cat in particular, he had one of the highest amounts of crystals and sediment in his bladder that the vet had ever seen. So now, a thousand dollars later and on a prescription diet for life, I will never feed blue buffalo to any of my pets ever again.

I have ordered this cat food from Amazon since we rescued our cat, but....from now on I will purchase it from a local pet store. Molly started throwing up as soon as we gave her food from this bag. I always order this Chicken and Brown Rice and the Salmon and Brown Rice so after she felt better I gave her some of the Salmon and Brown Rice and she started throwing up again!!!!

No more cat food purchases from Amazon for me. My cat means more than saving a couple dollars....

As soon as we opened this bag of food we noticed that it smelled different. I wish that I would have trusted my gut and returned this product at once. Both of my cats lost a significant amount of weight within weeks of eating from this bag. I fear that if we would have continued feeding it to them, they could have died. Don't buy your pets food from this source! It's worth it to buy from a store you trust and pay a few more dollars, so you can know that you are getting quality food.

This cat food has been controversial because they claimed no meal by products were in their food, even though it was. I understand that their supplier was the one putting all that bad stuff in their food without their knowledge and respect them for making the changes. This review is based on how my kitties handled it. My kitties didn't do well with this food. They kept vomiting with it. I went back to the hard fancy feast. I actually feed them dry and wet food to help keep their digestion systems regulated.
