Perfect addition for my guest bedroom.
November 12, 2016
I really love this mattress for my daybed for my guest bedroom. Usually the mattresses you get for daybeds or twin/full beds are thin and brick hard. This one is a good thickness and firm - not too hard and not too soft. It came rolled up like an egg roll, which made it easy to move around. However, once I unpacked it and put it on the bed, it was perfect. I have not used it yet, but I am hoping to soon and I will let you know how it holds up over the next couple of months to a year.I will definitely be getting another one of these mattresses for the trundle that came with my daybed. This is also good for a futon (when it is not in the 'couch' position). You can put this mattress on top of the futon mattress in the evening and then just remove it during the day (if you need to or have the time or the patience).
Great value

Even though I had read the reviews and knew what to expect, it was wild to have the mattresses delivered in large boxes. After unpacking and rolling out, when I took them out of the plastic cover, they quickly poofed up and have proven to be very comfortable and pretty firm. I have told several people about them.and would definitely order again.

We recently had a family member come to stay for an extended period of time, the stay was unexpected and we did not have an extra bed. So I searched online with many different sellers and stumbled across this mattress. It is perfect. It arrived and immediately expanded once it was taken out of the box. I thought we would have to wait 2 days for the foam mattress to completely inflate, that was not the case. Our house guest enjoys the mattress and says they slept well. The mattress is firm, so I would consider it to be more similar to a traditional mattress. It does not need a box spring so that is a plus. It is definitely worth the money and its shipped right to your front door. It's a win, win.
GREAT mattress for the price!!

Ok. so I read TONS of the reviews and was left more confused than when I started. Everything from 'too soft' to 'really firm'. So here is a review that I hope helps someone else. We had a tempurpedic which we hated...felt like sleeping in a lump of clay. Then we got a sleep number which we are pretty happy with. My sleep number is between 50-60, but usually 55. We bought this mattress for a full bed in our guest room. You need to put it on a box spring, IMO. The sides are fine...no problem 'slipping off the edge' as others have mentioned. If it is shorter than a 'normal' mattress, I couldn't tell...fit on top of our box spring from a regular mattress set just fine. I do not find it too soft or really firm. It is firm yet 'cushy' with a nice feel to it. Is it the greatest mattress ever? No, but I don't know how anyone could expect any more from a mattress for this price!! I love that it was shipped to my door in a box that we were able to manage up the stairs and it was cool how well it 'puffed up' and how quickly it did so. One word of caution...It is rolled and wrapped in plastic and then put in the cardboard box for shipping. Be REALLY careful when opening the end or you will accidentally cut the mattress. We used a box cutter and cut open a tiny corner, then pulled and tore the cardboard till we could see inside enough to avoid cutting the mattress.
The best mattress I've bought so far!!!!
September 28, 2015
I've read most of the reviews here about this mattress before I decided to buy it, and you know what I'm glad I bought it!. I ordered it in March for my 2 year old boy. I waited some time before posting a review, to really try it out and see what happens after a few months. When it was delivered, I put it in the garage for over 24 hours to let it expand, it didn't have any smell as some reviews said they noticed. It is heavy thou, like any other mattress. After we put it in the room, it was not too firm and not too soft, it's just perfect. Now 6 months later, it's still the same shape as when we got it. I have no complaints at all about this mattress. I've slept on it a couple of times( cause my little boy is afraid of thunderstorms) and it feels very comfortable. I'm ordering 2 more to replace my older kids mattresses. Considering the price this is the best mattress I've bought so far.
The Five Star Reviews Are Not an Exaggeration
February 15, 2015
It's been about three months now, and I can safely say this mattress is definitely worth the money. This is a very firm mattress, and contrary to what you may have read, it is ready to sleep on the very night you get it. Mine expanded to full height almost instantly.Yes, there is a light "odor", but it is clean and pleasant. The smell lasted a couple of weeks in my case, but nothing offensive. I actually thought the aroma was a nice plus. Some reported that the queen size mattress was a few inches shorter in length. Mine was not. If anything, it has a slight overhang, so perhaps the manufacturer saw the complaints and rectified this already. My fitted sheets fit perfectly with a nice smooth finish.I'm actually a pretty heavy (>270lbs) guy, so sagging was a concern of mine. So far, there doesn't seem to be any. I have been flipping and turning it a little more often than recommended just as a precaution, but after three months, the mattress remains flat and lump-less.Opening the mattress is really exciting and fun. Yes, you have to use scissors to cut off the duffle bag. Don't bother trying to save it. Once you get the duffel off, you have to cut the tape to unroll it. Then you have to cut that inner bag and watch as it practically pops up like an exploding can of muffins! So is this as nice as those thousand dollar pillow top luxury mattresses? Of course not! But does it afford me a good night's sleep for a fifth of the cost? You betcha! Great mattress, great price, and fun to open. What more could you ask for?*UPDATE: I ordered this mattress on November 24, 2014, and today it is April 17, 2016. Guess what? My queen size mattress is still holding up! Keep in mind I'm a pretty big guy that weighs over 270 lbs. I continue to flip the mattress quite regularly, and while there is a small hint of wear in the spots where I lay, the mattress is still supporting my avoirdupois with a firm but comfortable repose. There are still no lumps and still no regrets!*YET ANOTHER UPDATE: So now it's June 22, 2017. I just thought I'd stop back in and let all of you know how the mattress is doing. Still no change to the number of stars. This mattress has been holding up very well for over 2½ years, and it looks great! While there are still no slumps or lumps, I have to admit that it's starting to feel a little less firm than it used to. I still flip and rotate it regularly, and I sleep on it every night. It's very comfortable. If you are on any kind of a budget and need a decent mattress, this is the one to get! I just hope they are still making them whenever mine finally wears out!

the mattress almost immediately started expanding and was comfortable enough to lay on within a minute
February 15, 2017
I purchased the twin bed on 9 February and it stated that delivery would be February 15 to February 21. Mattress arrived on the 15th so was very quick, it came rolled up in thick white saran wrap type plastic. Inside a cardboard box. Once unrolled, the mattress almost immediately started expanding and was comfortable enough to lay on within a minute. I didn't check again until an hour later and my son got on it and said it was as comfortable as the first of this mattress we had bought. Not sure what others are talking about but there was barely any smell at all and what there was was not unpleasant. That faint smell dissipated by the time I checked on it in an hour. Customer service is great and very responsive. I would buy again if I need to.

To be honest I was skeptical about this mattress. I figured it would do for now while I just simply need something cheap.
But I was greatly surprised at it's quality. Being rather thin, I assumed I would feel the frame underneath. But it is very dense and has a slight give when you lay on it, so its on the firmer side whilst still being soft. It didn't have a strong chemical smell either. After I opened it up I let it sit out for 2 days before use. So far it has yet to dip, such as other customers happened to them.
The one draw back that I can see, is it is not reversible. So I can't say this product will have a very long life.
hope that helps anyone considering buying. Also it fits the frame I bought (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B006MIPW70?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00)

Totally shocked at what received...
December 3, 2015
After reading all the reviews I went ahead and ordered a single size mattress. I came on time and was in a tall but small box. I open the box and after opening the airvac bag around the mattress, it inflated but not fully. I let it rest for 24 hrs and it was fully ready. It s white and in perfect condition. I was shocked how I didn't smell anything as many reviews stated the smell was strong. I bought for my 7 year old for the bottom bunk and its a little smaller than the spring normal mattress I had before but no so much it. Really can't tell if you didn't see the other one first.my son had slept wonderful since he got his new mattress. I slept in his bed with him and was shocked that I have slept all night without my normal 3 or 4 moments I normally wake up with lower back and hip pains. I'm planning to replace other mattresses in my near future.. Thanks for reading.
Was skeptical, but we LOVE this mattress. Take a chance on it.. if not? Return it.. but I don't think you will need to. :)

We ordered this bed for my daughter, who recently went from a queen to a loft twin size bed. The queen was my old mattress which was a pillow top, so my daughter was already used to having a pretty soft mattress to sleep on, which I admit is nothing I ever had growing up! ha! That being said, I wanted something that would be equally as comfortable for her to adjust to. I ordered this from Amazon, and got it in 2 days with prime. The box was very light, and easy for me to carry as a single woman. I left it in the box for 2 days, and moved it to our new apartment, in a new town. since I had some time, I opened, and allowed it to air out for 2 days without letting anyone sit, or lay on the mattress. No smells were detected, and it was easy to unfold. By the time we got the loft bed built, it was time for my daughter to try the mattress out. She LOVES it. She never has issues with falling asleep, and doesn't want to get out of it in the mornings. Its been a great buy for us, and we have owned it for almost a month now. No sags, or deformities that we have noticed. Well worth the $120 I spent to get it...

September 7, 2014
Finally found exactly what I've been looking for! This is crazy but for my entire life basically I've been sleeping on spring mattresses and this is my first foam and i can't believe how comfortable it is. I moved to college last year and this year decided to get my own mattress after sleeping on an air mattress for a while. For the price this is an amazing mattress. I've been to Ikea and the same priced mattresses are ridiculously bad, this one is just so much better than anything out there. Also there's some reviews that indicate the stitching is coming apart, and I know what you're referring to but that's not the stitching. You're seeing the material at the end of the stitch come apart due to whatever material they decided to stitch it with. The actual STITCHING is not coming apart anywhere on the one I received, I simply cut off the extra loose strings and put a cover over it. Also with the quilted top you don't even need a topper. For reference I'm 6'4" and 180lbs and the mattress feels very solid and not like a piece of foam.

Good value mattress, perfect for a guest room
September 20, 2017
Top line: Good value mattress for the low price; Comfort is fine for a guest roomGood: The value is the winner here. I purchased a twin for my guest room trundle bed, and it works great on the top level. I have not had any major complaints from guests yet. Setup is super easy and no weird plastic smell out of the box on this model.Bad: Comfort is okay, not great. Feel is kind of squishy at first, then firm (i.e., not exactly a consistent feel throughout). Like I said, great for a temporary guest; not sure it would hold up to everyday use for a more picky customer.Other: My opinion is that this bed needs box springs or extra slats supporting it. YMMV.

March 18, 2017
I ordered a queen size 8 months ago and have been sleeping on it daily with the exception of when I've gone on the occasional vacation or business trip. Setup was a breeze. The first few nights I was somewhat comfortable but after the initial "break in" I've had no issues. It is not the softest mattress, but I have never owned a very soft mattress so I cannot say whether this is a benefit or a drawback. I I use a sheet and a small pad (more of a protector rather than providing any substantial cushioning) on top of the mattress. I am 125 lbs and happy to report that there are no noticeable body impressions that I can determine. I do notice that the mattress seems to retain a good bit of heat compared to the ones I've slept on in the past. This is great during the winter, not so much in the summer. Overall it is not a deal breaker for me.For the price, this was a great purchase. My 4/5 star rating takes into account the excellent price. If I had spent $600 the rating would be lower.
I Recommend.

Great bed at a very good price. I would recommend this bed but keep in mind, you either need a box spring or a platform bed with this mattress. Don't be like some of the genius ideas people have on here who throw it on any normal bed, of course issues will come about. Follow instructions and let it sit out until it is expanded 8" thick all around even in corners. You'll get a great night sleep and the bed will return to its normal shape after. My wife and I still enjoy the comfort this bed offers. Its soft but not too soft, but if you want a fluffy bed then just get a pillow top mattress cover for a nice price and your golden. REMEMBER THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! they are there for a reason.
Great firm/supportive mattress! incredible price! Make sure to get a topper too!
February 3, 2016
I had my previous mattress for about 10 years. It was creaky, stained, and I sunk into it. Having scoliosis, I needed a newer mattress with some actual support for my back that fit my 24-year-old budget. I'm a big believer that you don't want to spend more than a couple hundred bucks on a mattress. Anything else is over paying for a label, or riddiculous comfort buzzwords. This mattress was really cool to open, but be careful when you're opening it. I cut the piece of tape off the end and it snapped me really hard on the hand. The thing is under a lot of pressure! The mattress looks a bit thinner in person that it does in the picture, though I haven't given it the 48 hours to completely expand. That being said, it's amazing deal and very comfortable. I slept better than I had in a LONGGG time and my body really felt supported. The only thing about the mattress is that I think it REALLY needs a mattress topper to go with it. It's a firm mattress and I think once i've gotten the plush/quilted topper, it will add a few inches and be PERFECT. So get the mattress, order a topper, and i'd highly reccomend the box spring replacement. It will give you a super comfortable bed at than incredible price! Be smart. Get this bed.
comfy mattress for guest bedroom
July 26, 2015
This is the second one of these mattresses that I have purchased - both Queen size. The first, about 2-3 years ago for my son's room, and this one a few days ago to put in the guest bedroom. My son swears that his is the most comfortable mattress that he has ever slept on and that he will never want anything else now. I will find out next week when my quests arrive what they think of this one. Considering the prices for traditional mattresses of this size, if my guests find this mattress as comfortable as my son does, this is money very well spent.Update: December 2015. I have now had two different sets of guests stay in my guest room and they both said the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to others.
Shocked at how comfortable this is!
October 26, 2013
I moved from Texas to Boston and sold all my furniture before the move, including my bed. I have a small car and was moving into an apartment on the second floor with a narrow staircase with a few bends - not great for trying to maneuver a mattress. I was pumped to discover that Amazon sold mattresses (and with free Prime shipping!!) and even more excited that they seemed to be reasonably priced. The mattress does come in a duffel bag that is HEAVY (well, it was heavy to me). I somehow managed to drag it upstairs by myself, but word to the wise, just get a friend/neighbor/roommate to help you, I felt pretty pathetic and almost let it go a few times. Be extremely careful cutting the layers away, things are packed pretty tightly and it's really easy to accidentally slice through too many layers! If the mattress starts to inflate before it's completely unpacked, you will have problems. I did not really have issues with the smell other people have mentioned - I noticed it, but it wasn't super strong, and it went away really fast.I've been pleasantly surprised since the first night how comfortable this is, considering the size, the price, and the delivery method! It is much firmer than I'm used to (had a pillowtop mattress for three years prior to this), but I find that I wake up much less stiff and sore than I used to. I'm a pretty light sleeper as is, but at least now when I wake up it's because of light or noise and not because I'm uncomfortable. I took an extra comforter I had lying around and put it underneath my fitted sheet, and that adds just a little extra coziness and warmth for cold New England nights.Overall, very pleased with the comfort and the value.UPDATE May 2015: Still sleeping on this mattress a year and a half later with absolutely no complaints. Bought this thinking it would be a temporary fix and that I would have to replace it within a year with something more expensive. As long as I rotate it regularly (like you're supposed to do with mattresses....) it feels just as good as when I first got it. I sleep better on this mattress than on any one I can remember ever owning. Extremely pleased at how well it is holding up!

Good price for decent matress
July 4, 2016
Good price for decent matress. As others have stated, i ordered multiple and received two different versions. They seem the same quality but look and feel different, luckily uniformity was not important to me. Arrived fast and unpacking was simple, and they were ready within an hour or so, but we waited 24hrs to use them. Not flipable, but that wasn't expected. Great for my kids, no complaints. Only markdown is for different look and feel for what is supposed to be an identicle product. One had a design, the other was all white and one is more firm, so i can understand previous comments on quality differences. It gets four stars because i knew that was a possibility when i bought it.
aside from the packaging issues this was a good buy. This is a very comfortable bed
September 9, 2015
I bought this for my daughter. It was smashed so tightly in the packaging it won't go to the full original size. It's been several weeks and it still looks a bit smushed. We had to put something underneath of it to raise the mattress up (just a couple of inches) so it worked with her daybed. However, aside from the packaging issues this was a good buy. This is a very comfortable bed. Even I don't mind laying in it from time to time. My daughter is 12 and not a tiny girl so I feel this would work for a small adult as well (my daughter is 5"1 110 lbs). All in all I'm glad we got it. I have a very happy kid :)

July 17, 2015
I was expecting a mattress. Being in a pinch and unable to go to a store to shop this was the next best thing. I would have rather spent the money on a mattress that would have lasted longer. But the convenience of to the door delivery outweighed that.
I say lasted longer only because this was purchased for a child, it is extremely soft and thin I am sure when she is older and weighs more than 40lbs she will want something more supportive and thicker. For a temporary small child's bed it does the trick. It is very soft, it is just the memory foam layer without the springs of a mattress. It came rolled like a carpet and I was in a panic. Once out it did fluff up and resembled a thin mattress.
I would purchase again if I was in a time pinch. But for the longer run a real mattress would be better.
Wasn't looking for the absolute best mattress out there
January 8, 2015
Background: I am a female college student (140-145lbs) who needed to buy a mattress for the new unfurnished apartment my friends and I moved into. Wasn't looking for the absolute best mattress out there, just something that I can use for the next year, but I also didn't want to get a super low quality mattress either. Oh and I gave myself a $150 budget. Side note: I received my mattress yesterday and have slept on it only once since I received it. If anything I write about today changes, I will be sure to update my review!!

I was very surprised when I received my mattress a day before my guaranteed delivery, and that it came in such a small box!! One thing I was disappointed in was that it did not come in the duffel bag or two plastic outer layers that Dreamfoam said it would come in, but whatever. It was vacuum sealed and basically just Saran wrapped, lol. #easytocarry

One AUTOMATIC plus that I noticed was that it IMMEDIATELY deflated when my boyfriend unwrapped it!! I know the company says it can take 24-48 hours, but mine was completely deflated in like 10 seconds. Score!! The other thing I liked about the mattress was that there was NO ODOR when we unpacked it. This was something I had read and was concerned about, but I smell nothing!! Something else that I was concerned about was it getting hot when I slept on it, because I read that that happens with foam mattresses, but it hasn't happened to me! I guess it just depends on the sleeper, and I am not a "hot" sleeper.

The only reason I am giving it four stars is because it said that the mattress would deflate to 7" and after giving the mattress time to deflate (if it was going to deflate more than it did in the first 10 seconds), it only deflated to 6.5". It looked kinda short, so I bought a mattress topper for added height and comfort, and it feels like a CLOUD. :) Other than the height, this mattress is magnificent!!! Great value (and believe me, I looked around) and great quality. I like the quilted top, but just in case you are wondering, this is not a reversible mattress. There is no quilted top on the bottom of the mattress.

Like I said, I will update my review if anything changes after more use with this mattress. But at $108, I can proudly and happily say that it exceeded my expectations!!!

PS: While I am very happy with my new mattress, I do not know if I would recommend it to anyone heavier than like 150lbs. My boyfriend, who weighs about 180-200lbs laid on it, and he said he liked it, but I could see he pushed it down pretty far. I know Dreamfoam also makes a 9" mattress like this one, so perhaps that would work better?

PSS: I would definitely recommend buying a mattress topper for this mattress!! I got a memory foam one, and paired with this affordable mattress, I can foresee being very happy with this mattress in the future!!! :)
Inexpensive and perfect for children!
July 12, 2014
I ordered this twin sized mattress for my 2 year old son. We recently purchased a bed frame for him and switched him out of his toddler bed & needed a mattress to go with.
Amazon never fails - prices are great for quality items! I am very pleased with the mattress. I personally would not want the mattress for myself but it is perfect for smaller children! It is sturdy enough for him, fits his twin frame perfectly, and he says it's comfortable.
I was shocked when the box arrived - I did read the other reviews before I purchased this mattress, but I guess I never noticed the other comments about how it is packaged. The box was about 3 feet tall and about 1 foot x 1 foot wide. The mattress was pretty much vacuum sealed in a lot of plastic wrap. I took the coiled up mattress out of the box and cut the plastic off and the mattress basiclly popped out and puffed right up! It took about 24 hours for the mattress to come to it's full potential. I still can't believe the mattress was squished in that box!!
Like I said, this mattress is perfect for little light weight children but I wouldn't recommend it {comfort wise} for teens/adults.

Great but as guest bed
December 13, 2016
Back on a coil from a memory foam has been noticeably challenging. Getting out of bed, the bed gives greatly. Im 160 lbs for reference. Little creeky from the springs but overall quiet. Using as primary mattress. Good for now but will eventually go back to memory foam.
it was super comfy.
October 27, 2016
The first couple days i slept on it, it was super comfy... now a few weeks (almost a month) I'm waking up with back and shoulder pain ... I think it would be good for like a day bed where it's not being used all the time but not an everyday sleep ... I'm 20, 135 pounds ... might be good for kids ...It is pretty to look at
Pain if you sleep on side, go for it if you sleep on back
October 22, 2016
The bed didn't expand to full size for a while, still had some low areas. Jumping on it helped a bit. It's soft but firm, you feel the support. I sleep on my side and been waking up with terrible back pain since I got this bed. My partner sleeps on his back and he says he sleeps amazing. Since I can't change it, I guess I have to train myself to sleep on my back. Great support during activities other than sleeping.
Welp so much for my perfect ending...
August 22, 2016
After mattress hunting for about 3 months, I found this golden ticket! I read all the reviews, and the price was right up my alley! The shipping was great and everything was perfect until about one week ago. I notice a huge divot on my side of the bed. Being that I only had this bed for about three weeks and I'm 5'1 weighting at 130 pounds I was totally surprised. I would imagine this kind of divot to arise after YEARS of sleeping on the same side of the bed. I then improvised, and slept on the on the other side of the bed, and you guessed it- the same thing happened after two days. I was so disappointed! I wasn't expecting the best mattress, especially with the cheap price, but c'mon! Other than the divot, the bed was comfortable and the shipping was perfect so I have to give credit where its due.
Okay, But Needs a Good Foam Topper
February 28, 2016
We got this mattress for the upper bunk in our guest bedroom. Everything I read about selecting mattresses for top bunk beds was telling me to go with a 6" mattress, but I'm glad I listened to my gut and chose an 8" hybrid foam/inner spring mattress instead. This Signature Sleep Contour 8" is firm, and has a sort of quilted tight top, and feels pretty good to lay on, but I could feel the springs all along the sides, and as others have written about this, the corners and edges have no support and they just sink in. This mattress is nowhere near the quality or the comfort of the 10" pillow-top I got for the lower bunk. I ended up having to put a 2" high-quality foam topper on it to make sure my guest couldn't feel any of the springs. My guest had no complaints and actually said she slept very comfortably.
Almost the perfect cheap mattress solution…almost.
November 5, 2014
Purchased this 8" full-size mattress for my daughter's new IKEA bed called Nordli. IKEA offers a slatted bed base called Sultan Luroy that we are using in lieu of a box spring. I have to say that the bed is more than adequate for a growing child or teenager, but really has no support as you get closer to the outside edge of the mattress. It just sinks as you literally can 'roll out of bed'. Not sure if it is the lack of box spring or if the bed did not fully decompress as advertised, but I am a bit disappointed. Other than the edge issues, the bed does offers terrific support…just wish the area towards the outside stayed nice and firm. With that said, a couple ordering this as a a full-size option should look elsewhere. This is a very very strong chance that you will hate this. For the price, I have no trouble recommending it as you really do get what you pay for in this case. In hindsight, I probably would have tried an all-foam roll-out mattress that is similarly priced on this website.

April 24, 2017
I have used this mattress for over three almost four years however as I'm a large individual I now have to replace my mattress so I can sleep and not have pain I would not recommend if you are heavyset, but for children and healthy teens then this is for you. It arrived within a week of ordering it so that is a plus and withstood me and my pets however if you are heavy you will NOT GET TEN YEARS out of this mattress but be fair it is incredibly soft and withstood my beatings for a long time.

So, it's been 4 months since I bought these mattresses (bought 2). I have to say I am not happy with them mainly because one of the mattresses has not opened up uniformly. One corner of the mattress has a slope/inclined and I think it is because the springs never really opened up/straightened out correctly. The second mattress is fine. We bought these and had the two mattresses opened and left flat on the floor for about a month as we bought them before we were going for a long trip hoping that they will open up perfectly. Sadly, it was not meant to be. Not going to buy it again.
It's okay.

Mattress is okay for our three year old. We have laid on it and it seems comfortable enough. The issue we ran into is one end never fully inflated. With it being for our youngest, we don't really foresee it being too big of a deal.
OK for a 4 year old, but never fully "inflated"
January 27, 2016
This mattress is just OK... We purchased it for our 4 year old's first twin size bed. He's only 40 lbs, which is why it will still work for us. As others have noted, it never fully "inflated". The top and right side of the mattress did puff up nearly immediately - within 12 hours they looked normal. The bottom and left side are a different story. We cranked the heat in the room we took it out of the package, which helped marginally. After nearly 48 hours the left side inflated enough that we weren't worried about our son rolling off to one side. The bottom is still terribly creased and flat (it's been 5 days now). It'll be a long time before our son is tall enough to have the sagging end effect his comfort. I suppose you get what you pay for. This will probably be our last "rolled up in an impossibly small box, ordered online" mattress. I'll stick to buying in store. It is a comfortable mattress, and our son has been sleeping very well on it - hence the 3 stars. I just wish we would have forked over the extra $50 to get a nice twin mattress at Costco.
Ordered three - got three COMPLETELY different mattresses
February 23, 2014
I ordered a set of bunk beds with a trundle drawer so I needed three twin mattresses. What I received were three DIFFERENT mattresses. I would have no problem if the fabric was the only difference but the quality varies wildly. I can now understand how some people love their $95 mattress and some people thought the quality was very poor. My sons actually argued about which one they got because one was so clearly superior. . anyone who has more than one child knows that the best policy for keeping everyone happy is to keep an even playing field. :) Mattress one: excellent quality all around. Well worth the price. Mattress two: about what i expected. . completely fine, not great. Mattress three: it's still in the wrapper. . am thinking about returning it but can't imagine how to get it back into the box! Poor person who ends up sleeping on the guest trundle. . .I should not have to make that choice. . .seller needs to make sure all mattresses are of equal quality.

Only lasted 1.5 years
July 19, 2017
Bed is fairly comfortable, but after 1.5 years its sagging terribly on one side. It was a cheap bed and lasted as long as a cheap bed should, I guess. Still not impressed that I only got that much life out of it. I am not a big guy. About 200 lbs, 6 foot tall. I only sleep in the he\bed, I do not read or watch tv in it.I would not buy this bed again or recommend it to anyone for regular use. Maybe a guest bed that gets used rarely but it will not last long if you sleep in it every day..
The mattress is grouped with a bed that has a foundation as a recommended to buy together
June 13, 2017
Just received today so this rating may change. I am giving two stars because the mattress tag states the mattress was not made for use with a foundation. The mattress is grouped with a bed that has a foundation as a recommended to buy together. Also the manual that comes with the mattress indicates it may be used with a foundation. It's a cheap mattress that will be in my guest bedroom so hopefully it will last before it caves in. Had I known it wasn't made for a foundation I would have made a different selection. It's basically impossible to return once opened so I'm stuck ... mattress is hard and springy so I have ordered a mattress topper to make it more comfortable
gotten softer over time, concaves in the middle.
May 26, 2017
Purchased back in 2015, every 6 months I flipped it over because it is recommended. It seems to have gotten softer over time, which has led to decrease of quality sleep. I like a semi-firm bed. I'm 6'2" 225lbs and a very active person, lift weights, hike for miles, snow sports, and more. If you have back problems, sleep on your back, or like more support...DO NOT GET THIS MATTRESS.Recommendation for guess room, kids, teens, college students on a budget.Cheap quality mattress for the price.
ONLY 1 YEAR WARRANTY
March 26, 2017
Buyer Beware- Their website states all mattresses come with a ONE YEAR warranty. I guess that's the reason I have a huge indentation in mine after less than 2 1/2 years... It was pretty comfortable... at first!
You pretty much get what you pay for
July 29, 2015
You pretty much get what you pay for. We didn't have a lot of money to spend and needed two mattresses so we bought these. They seem to be fine for my daughters right now because they're both little but as an adult when I've sat on them or laid down next to my daughter trying to get her to go to sleep I sink in badly and have been incredibly uncomfortable.
Wears down after just over a year & half of use.
July 9, 2014
Update: Review has dropped to 2 stars. After sleeping on it for a little over a year and a half, the middle has caved in with a noticeable gully. Pretty dang annoying. If I had to choose again I would not buy it.First off it is very impressive that this thing arrives as a huge Tootsie Roll and ends up a Queen Size mattress. Once expanded and inflated it is a very nice mattress. There is a big however for me. It is MUCH softer than other reviews have led me to believe. And that is a big problem for me. I am stomach sleeper and this mattress is way too soft for me and is actually causing me back pain. To the point that I have to replace it. So here comes the danger of ordering something like this online - sou are basically stuck with it. There is no reasonable way of trying to return it, aside from loading it up in a pickup and dropping it off in the Amazon lobby here in Seattle. Now I am going to have to try and Craig's List it and probably get about a 50% return in value for a brand new mattress that has about 7 nights of use on it.So Buyer Beware - Very nice mattress - but too soft for those of us that are stomach sleepers. If you live in the Seattle area and are looking to get one of these, I have one going for sale on the cheap.Signed - Totally bummed out in Seattle

I have bought seven of these - best for kids or rental properties - not for the long-haul/adult use. Bad off-gassing/fumes.
August 22, 2016
I bought one of these for my son's room in late 2014 - it JUST stopped 'off-gassing.' There is nothing else in the room remotely new or synthetic that could cause this smell. I had to leave the windows open much more than I cared to, to get the smell to air out over the first year.I bought six more for a rental property I own, a year later, and they smelled quite strongly but not as bad. These are pretty comfortable (I like a soft bed, but firm-lovers have also applauded them), but do tend to sag pretty quickly and lose their shape. Best for kids or places you will be changing the mattresses after a couple of years. In our master, we have the ones that are mostly latex (from the same company), and are happy enough with them (European Sleep Works, based in Berkeley, sold us the best mattresses and pillows of our life).
Hit or Miss Purchase? MISS😞
November 23, 2015
I am not even certain I received the same item that I purchased. The bed was sealed well and unrolled well enough. 24hrs after unrolling....it was still underinflated in appearance. 1 week later...it is still a sub par bed. The edges never puffed up. It does NOT look like the bed in the picture. Has the appearance of a pillowtop...smells like pine and tree bark ( not horrid but not a nice scent) and it is also not particularly supportive. It has never been slept on as it is in our guest area. And really...guests would not be inclined to stay longer than 1 night on this " mattress".I have left 2 bad reviews in all my ...10? Years of shopping on amazon...THIS is bad review #2. I feel VERY guilty leaving this review but the mattress seems to be hit or miss...and the one I received was a definite miss.Amazon should discontinue offering this mattress for sale as it is not up to snuff with any company that may care for its clientele.
Shoddy workmanship and fit
July 29, 2014
Reviews are unworthy to be trusted here. You need to get your hands on this product ***Before making a decision***...but that is not possible. My wife and I set out to get our small children twin mattresses that would be sufficient until they grow a bit older. We tried it out and was not satisfied with the quality and comfort of this mattress. Thickness was about 7" once you let them expand but materials having strings hanging and the choice of fabrics was not desirable for us. The size of the mattresses varied a bit so the Twin standard of 75' X 38 was not strictly adhered to...Sometimes smaller so you had gaps fitting furniture. I would not recommend this mattress for anyone wanting a higher quality standard.
Wish I spent a little more for a decent mattress
May 24, 2014
I purchased this mattress for a 3yo toddler and it is just okay in terms of smell and comfort. Our mattress did not have a strong scent upon arrival. It is also soft (not hard at all as other reviews have mentioned). My main issue is that it is smaller than advertised size. There are 2 inch gaps around my son's twin size bed, which makes the mattress cover and sheets HUGE for the mattress. I wish I had not bought this and spent a bit more money to buy my son a decent mattress. Obviously, it is impossible to return this product since it comes vacuum sealed and once out of the box, there is no way you can find a box large enough to send it back.

As the previous reviews mentioned, everyone probably gets a different mattress and perhaps we were unlucky to have gotten a lower-end one.

Look elsewhere!
August 10, 2017
Bought this mattress to replace a mattress in our new RV which was rock hard. It is in a loft area which is occ. inhabited by teens. They love it, I take naps on it. Only wish I'd gotten a 6" as opposed to the 8" as the latter puts you 14" from the ceiling in the loft. But kids don't mind and one of them will take the mattress off to college with them in 3-4 years. Mattress is very comfortable, BTW I hate memory foam anything, so this fit the bill.Update: had to return. Mattress cost $154.61, refund was only $131.11, and I HAD TO PAY SHIPPING BACK $62.00. Look elsewhere!
Very disappointed.

Very hard

.Not as good as my 17 tear old one that it was going to replace. Big disappointment-now stored in spare room.Slept on it 2 nights. It was sort of too soft.
A Poor and Shameful Excuse for a Mattress.
January 24, 2016
Perhaps I should kick myself for being duped into believing that such technology exist that will permit a boxed inflatable mattress to be marketed as a wise purchasing decision, particularly the online variety, which makes returning the product a packaging and logistical nightmare. In hindsight, the entire product offering is counter intuitive. I purchased this soft, malformed roller coaster after reading a very vivid description from an apparently young, post-collegiate purchaser with undoubtedly less comfort requirements than a person of my age. After barely two months of use, this bed is a visual and functional disaster. After diligently going through the unpacking instructions and following accordingly, the bed seemingly inflated fully, but on the first night of sleeping, I swiftly noticed that I began to somewhat sink through the mattress. I am 198 pounds which is apparently greater mass than the mattress can handle. The sinking experience was more noticeable due to the remainder of the mattress being unmoved and level, while the portion that undergirded my body was recessed. Laying upon this mattress is like an awkward, badly coordinated waterbed experience. I allowed someone else to grant their opinion, after laying on the mattress she laughed after also experiencing the sensation of falling-through. I assume the unmoved portion of the mattress is an inbred cliff that is needed to pull-up oneself from the spongy sinkholes. As if the sleeping experience is not bad enough, the visual is downright embarrassing. As a reference, I attached two images of the mattress in its current form. The version without the sheet makes it slightly more difficult to see the indented areas, I therefore used pennies in the indented areas for perspective, and a quarter in the center area, which remains at normal level, above the sinkholes. Any casual observer can tell exactly where I slept on either night because the contour of my body imprint remains, like a sunken cavity. The mattress either has a permanent, never relenting memory, or cheap foam interior that never resuscitates after being laid upon. I have flipped the mattress on four occasions with no improved results. I am certain that the manufacturer will claim there is some solution that can be addressed by more flipping, or perhaps the simplified instructions were not followed – rubbish. The bottom line is that the "convenience of a rolled" mattress for shipping will cost the consumer a loss of functionality and the very technology that was designed to never be rolled and packed in a box. Perhaps this is the consequence of purchasing a low-cost mattress online, but the claims of the manufacturer are simply false. If they were a brick and mortar store in the vicinity, I would have returned this mattress mockery the very day in which it arrived. I care not to go through the hassle of packing this consumer rip-off for return, so I simply offer this review as a strongly worded and sincere “buyer beware”.

I Hate This Mattress
August 4, 2016
I bought the set of two mattresses for my son's bunk bed. They are extremely firm. It doesn't seem to bother him, because he is only 3 and weighs 33 pounds, but for anyone of normal weight/size, it is like sleeping on a board. They each came rolled up like a sleeping bag for packaging, and it says to let them sit out to slowly gain their true shape. We’ve been using this for 4 months now, and neither mattress ever gained its shape on the corners. Some corners came close to looking normal, but most every corner completely sags down and it looks really bad/cheap. They are also REALLY heavy, from being all foam I suppose, which isn’t a big deal until you try changing the sheets on the bed and have to lift it up around the corners and edges. It’s a real challenge and makes me dread changing the sheets because of the hassle. Because they are foam, there is pretty much NO air circulation. My son is often sweaty on the whichever side of his body that was next to the mattress. I’ve fallen asleep a couple of times with him in the bed, and when I wake up my back is KILLING ME and I’m all sweaty from whichever side I was sleeping on. I don’t have any issue at all with my own mattress, as far as waking up in pain or sweat, so I know it’s the foam mattress. That last annoying thing I can say about these is that they don’t really fit in the frame of his standard twin bunk bed, both of them are too small and it leaves a significant opening between the mattress and the frame on all sides. I really have nothing positive to say about these other than they are inexpensive for being “mattresses”. No way I would ever buy these again and I will need to buy new ones as soon as I have the money. I will be opting for box springs next time for the comfort and breathability and correct shape.
Wait- Read - Do NOT BUY
May 5, 2016
DO NOT BUY!! There is no way this would look like the picture- the bed is not expanding it has been 2 1/12 days . I purchased the Twin/Full combo and it came rolled in one box (I am fine with that- I purchased a spring quilted mattress for my son and it was AWESOME- packaged the same way). After opening them, the mattresses failed to fully decompress. The corners are flat STILL and places in the middle -.... again 2 1/2 days taking up room in the house.I would not purchase this item. I may seek out another spring mattress instead. That fully decompressed in seconds... but never again just a foam mattress. HOW did this get 4 1/2 stars?????Amazon was great for my refund and for the customer service rcvd.
Given completely different mattress.
February 24, 2016
I bought two of these mattresses 2 years ago and they are amazing they were 5 star mattresses for the price. So when I had to buy a mattress for another bed I immediately purchased this one again. It is not even close to the original ones I purchased it stiff, smaller, and uncomfortable. I'm very upset and just want what I thought I was purchasing in the first place.
See inside this mattress!
April 16, 2015
After reading the reviews I opted in and purchased this mattress. From the description and other reviews I had thought that this was a a mid-firm mattress. However, after 2 months of use I noticed that the mattress sagged in the middle. I'm not a small person and at 180 lbs and 6 ft I assumed the depression was in bed frame, nope. After moving the mattress to the floor the depression was still just as visible and discernible when laying on the mattress on the floor. Flipped it over but nothing worked. As I had already missed the return date, I took my trusty fillet knife and peered in, like a magician, I had cut it in twade. Here are the measurements that I took of both the egg crate height and the total height to the tops of the egg crate. Side measurements taken 10 inches in from the edge and center measures are from center... First Picture, Side from bottom of mattress to egg crate peaks approx: 6.25 in. Second Picture, Center of mattress measuring from the bottom to the peaks approx: 5.75 in. Third pic. Center of mattress measuring only peak height of the egg crate approx: 1.75 in. Side measure of egg crate only 2.125 in. Adhering to the scientific method I made sure that the mattress was not used for one week and placed vertically on edge when measuring to nullify any anomalies caused by gravity or an uneven surface. These measurements are relatively close but if the foam has degraded that quick (3 month period) I can assure you that you will feel a drastic amount of sag in the mattress. If you have back problems I would not but this mattress. As such, I have purchased a different mattress from a local retailer and could not be happier with my choice to slice and dice this over priced piece of foam. Also, I used some of the foam to make a plush dog bed. Yes I'm out a chunk of money, but damn it fells good to be a Gangster ( addendum... Magician).Hope this is helpful. Cheers!
Comfortable but gor deshaped..!
February 23, 2015
The foam is comfortable and expands as stated in the product info, but got deshaped in a couple of days. Part of the neck support material has stretched and i can feel bumps in it. Didn't expect this to happen so soon! See the attached picture.
Not for regular use
July 18, 2014
Extremely disappointed with this purchase. I read all the reviews before purchasing this, reviewers said it was perfect for young children or guest bedrooms. I purchased this mattress for my three-year-old son who has a bed that does not need a box spring. I opened up the box and packaging, and let the mattress inflate for about 24 hours. At the end of the 24 hours, I noticed that the matches was not 7 inches thick. I placed it on my sons bed and by the third night he slept on it, it was already beginning to Divet in the middle. No doubt, I will definitely have to buy him a regular mattress soon. I do not recommend this mattress if it is going to get any kind of regular use, even if it is for a child. It would probably work just fine in a guestroom.
