Perfect addition for my guest bedroom.
November 12, 2016
I really love this mattress for my daybed for my guest bedroom. Usually the mattresses you get for daybeds or twin/full beds are thin and brick hard. This one is a good thickness and firm - not too hard and not too soft. It came rolled up like an egg roll, which made it easy to move around. However, once I unpacked it and put it on the bed, it was perfect. I have not used it yet, but I am hoping to soon and I will let you know how it holds up over the next couple of months to a year.I will definitely be getting another one of these mattresses for the trundle that came with my daybed. This is also good for a futon (when it is not in the 'couch' position). You can put this mattress on top of the futon mattress in the evening and then just remove it during the day (if you need to or have the time or the patience).
Great value

Even though I had read the reviews and knew what to expect, it was wild to have the mattresses delivered in large boxes. After unpacking and rolling out, when I took them out of the plastic cover, they quickly poofed up and have proven to be very comfortable and pretty firm. I have told several people about them.and would definitely order again.

We recently had a family member come to stay for an extended period of time, the stay was unexpected and we did not have an extra bed. So I searched online with many different sellers and stumbled across this mattress. It is perfect. It arrived and immediately expanded once it was taken out of the box. I thought we would have to wait 2 days for the foam mattress to completely inflate, that was not the case. Our house guest enjoys the mattress and says they slept well. The mattress is firm, so I would consider it to be more similar to a traditional mattress. It does not need a box spring so that is a plus. It is definitely worth the money and its shipped right to your front door. It's a win, win.
GREAT mattress for the price!!
March 18, 2016
Ok. so I read TONS of the reviews and was left more confused than when I started. Everything from 'too soft' to 'really firm'. So here is a review that I hope helps someone else. We had a tempurpedic which we hated...felt like sleeping in a lump of clay. Then we got a sleep number which we are pretty happy with. My sleep number is between 50-60, but usually 55. We bought this mattress for a full bed in our guest room. You need to put it on a box spring, IMO. The sides are fine...no problem 'slipping off the edge' as others have mentioned. If it is shorter than a 'normal' mattress, I couldn't tell...fit on top of our box spring from a regular mattress set just fine. I do not find it too soft or really firm. It is firm yet 'cushy' with a nice feel to it. Is it the greatest mattress ever? No, but I don't know how anyone could expect any more from a mattress for this price!! I love that it was shipped to my door in a box that we were able to manage up the stairs and it was cool how well it 'puffed up' and how quickly it did so. One word of caution...It is rolled and wrapped in plastic and then put in the cardboard box for shipping. Be REALLY careful when opening the end or you will accidentally cut the mattress. We used a box cutter and cut open a tiny corner, then pulled and tore the cardboard till we could see inside enough to avoid cutting the mattress.
The best mattress I've bought so far!!!!
September 28, 2015
I've read most of the reviews here about this mattress before I decided to buy it, and you know what I'm glad I bought it!. I ordered it in March for my 2 year old boy. I waited some time before posting a review, to really try it out and see what happens after a few months. When it was delivered, I put it in the garage for over 24 hours to let it expand, it didn't have any smell as some reviews said they noticed. It is heavy thou, like any other mattress. After we put it in the room, it was not too firm and not too soft, it's just perfect. Now 6 months later, it's still the same shape as when we got it. I have no complaints at all about this mattress. I've slept on it a couple of times( cause my little boy is afraid of thunderstorms) and it feels very comfortable. I'm ordering 2 more to replace my older kids mattresses. Considering the price this is the best mattress I've bought so far.
The Five Star Reviews Are Not an Exaggeration
February 15, 2015
It's been about three months now, and I can safely say this mattress is definitely worth the money. This is a very firm mattress, and contrary to what you may have read, it is ready to sleep on the very night you get it. Mine expanded to full height almost instantly.Yes, there is a light "odor", but it is clean and pleasant. The smell lasted a couple of weeks in my case, but nothing offensive. I actually thought the aroma was a nice plus. Some reported that the queen size mattress was a few inches shorter in length. Mine was not. If anything, it has a slight overhang, so perhaps the manufacturer saw the complaints and rectified this already. My fitted sheets fit perfectly with a nice smooth finish.I'm actually a pretty heavy (>270lbs) guy, so sagging was a concern of mine. So far, there doesn't seem to be any. I have been flipping and turning it a little more often than recommended just as a precaution, but after three months, the mattress remains flat and lump-less.Opening the mattress is really exciting and fun. Yes, you have to use scissors to cut off the duffle bag. Don't bother trying to save it. Once you get the duffel off, you have to cut the tape to unroll it. Then you have to cut that inner bag and watch as it practically pops up like an exploding can of muffins! So is this as nice as those thousand dollar pillow top luxury mattresses? Of course not! But does it afford me a good night's sleep for a fifth of the cost? You betcha! Great mattress, great price, and fun to open. What more could you ask for?*UPDATE: I ordered this mattress on November 24, 2014, and today it is April 17, 2016. Guess what? My queen size mattress is still holding up! Keep in mind I'm a pretty big guy that weighs over 270 lbs. I continue to flip the mattress quite regularly, and while there is a small hint of wear in the spots where I lay, the mattress is still supporting my avoirdupois with a firm but comfortable repose. There are still no lumps and still no regrets!*YET ANOTHER UPDATE: So now it's June 22, 2017. I just thought I'd stop back in and let all of you know how the mattress is doing. Still no change to the number of stars. This mattress has been holding up very well for over 2½ years, and it looks great! While there are still no slumps or lumps, I have to admit that it's starting to feel a little less firm than it used to. I still flip and rotate it regularly, and I sleep on it every night. It's very comfortable. If you are on any kind of a budget and need a decent mattress, this is the one to get! I just hope they are still making them whenever mine finally wears out!

Totally Awesome liquid proof cover!
May 13, 2017
Absolutely love this cover! It serves its purpose very well. Its super thin and is not noisy. It has saved our mattress multiple times from being stained from our dog that has a sensitive stomach and occasional has times when she vomits. And of course she likes to vomit on our bed, because that's where she feels the most secure when she doesnt feel well. I did read a few bad review before buying this that it does not provide complete water proof abilities and was hesitant, but tried it anyway. I dont know why other people were experiencing non water/liquid proof results because this cover has been a life saver for us and my photos are proof of this; and sorry for the pics being gross. My dog actually vomited directly on the cover after I was in the process of a sheet change, which made it perfect for me to take a few quick pictures of this cover in action! When accidents do happen I dont like to wash the whole cover in the washer, I Just hand wash the area with the dirty spot directly in the tub and hang it to dry. I have washed it in the washer and dried it in the dryer, but I know the more I do that the quicker it will most likely wear out, so I recommend hand washing the area where the accident occurs and letting it hang dry.A
True Story
November 24, 2016
I bought this mattress cover for our bed in our brand new travel trailer since it was fairly inexpensive, claimed to be water proof, and had great reviews. I thought that since we weren't going to be using the trailer all that often, I didn't need to buy an expensive mattress cover and a cheap one should work just fine. I had no idea how desperately I was going to need this.I was moving some items from our house into our trailer, and had to take several trips so I kept running back and forth. One of the minor issues with our trailer, that we are getting adjusted by the dealership next week, is that the screen door latch doesn't securely hold the screen door closed. When I was running back and forth between the house and the trailer, occasionally the door would swing open. No big deal, or so I thought. I locked up the trailer and went on my way.Eight days later, I got into the trailer again. I noticed a few things out of place, which made me wary. I started glancing around, when I noticed glowing eyes staring at me from the lower bunk bed. After recovering from my shock, I discovered that a stray cat had found its way into the trailer, and its only opportunity to get in had been 8 days prior. It was amazing that it was still alive with no food and no water. After I coaxed it out of the trailer with some food, I set about to find where the cat had done its business for 8 days. I found it almost immediately. One could not miss the urine stain that spanned almost the entire width of our queen bed. I threw out our sheets and prepped myself for the looming reality that our bed was ruined. I stripped the bed of the mattress pad and couldn't find a stain on the mattress. I smelled the bed and could not detect urine odor at all, and I am super sensitive to the smell of cat urine. This mattress pad saved our brand new mattress, even with the onslaught of 8 days of all the urine a cat could pee on it. I am very pleased with this pad and would definitely recommend it!
Protected mattress through birth!
September 2, 2016
My wife went into labor a year and a half ago and that labor went very quickly....so quickly that she ended up giving birth on our bed in the presence of EMTs. We then went to the hospital where I stayed overnight with my wife and new baby girl. The next day, once things had clamed down, I went home to clean up before they came home. For those who have witnessed or gone through child birth, you know what a mess I arrived to. For those who haven't, suffice to say there are many different types of fluids and a lot of them. Let's just say I was fully expecting to be purchasing a new mattress. To my amazement, once I'd bagged our sheets and this mattress pad, our mattress was perfectly fine. I bought another one immediately and will continue to use this brand as long as it exists. I challenge anyone to put it through a more rigorous test and I'm positive it can stand up to some sweat or your child's pee in the middle of the night. I could have posted a pic but it's better for everyone if I don't.
This was easy to put on and has deep pockets that easily ...
May 17, 2016
It works. I got this because I was fostering a litter of puppies who kept urinating on the bed (I know, I shouldn't have brought them on.. But honestly you should've seen how they begged to cuddle on the bed). I wanted to protect my mattress. This was easy to put on and has deep pockets that easily fit over a King bed with a pillow top mattress. In the photos attached, I spilled a large cup of water on my bed (accidentally!). It was soaked up by this mattress protector and my mattress was TOTALLY dry. Not even slightly moist. I also felt the bottom of the mattress pad (the side that lays against the mattress itself) and it was dry as well. This material is well made in that it absorbs on top, but protects on bottom to ensure moisture does not leak through. It's impressive, really.
A revolution for urinary incontinence!
September 24, 2014
As a U.S. wounded warrior with a spinal cord injury, I suffer from incontinence. Despite wearing Depend briefs, there's sometimes "excess" leakage, which has previously done considerable damage to my mattress. I've used numerous other mattress pads, and they bunch up and get pushed out from under me in my sleep. However, my number one complaint was the breathability aspect (or lack thereof), which routinely made me wake up drenched in sweat and subsequently despise my incontinence even more! After searching around, I came upon this product and I've been using it for a couple weeks now. It has endured numerous "incidents" and never once has anything leaked through to the mattress. But its breathability is outstanding. It feels SO much better. Just this one product alone has changed my feelings about my incontinence. It was worth every single penny, and then some!Just a quick side note: I was concerned about ordering this in a queen size because I have a queen size pillow top mattress PLUS a four inch memory foam topper, so I have to use king size sheets in order for the fitted sheet to fit right. But I took the plunge and ordered it in a queen anyways, and it fits perfectly!
Works better than I ever imagined!
January 7, 2013
We got this in anticipation of co-sleeping with our first baby. My husband (smart man) put it on a week before my due date just in case my water broke. Little did we know that I would have a precipitous labor (very fast) and we wouldn't even make it to the hospital. We delivered the baby with just the two of us and in the bed with this mattress topper. Birth is a very messy process. This saved our very expensive thermarest mattress! It is totally worth the money! Great product!

Good value mattress, perfect for a guest room
September 20, 2017
Top line: Good value mattress for the low price; Comfort is fine for a guest roomGood: The value is the winner here. I purchased a twin for my guest room trundle bed, and it works great on the top level. I have not had any major complaints from guests yet. Setup is super easy and no weird plastic smell out of the box on this model.Bad: Comfort is okay, not great. Feel is kind of squishy at first, then firm (i.e., not exactly a consistent feel throughout). Like I said, great for a temporary guest; not sure it would hold up to everyday use for a more picky customer.Other: My opinion is that this bed needs box springs or extra slats supporting it. YMMV.

March 18, 2017
I ordered a queen size 8 months ago and have been sleeping on it daily with the exception of when I've gone on the occasional vacation or business trip. Setup was a breeze. The first few nights I was somewhat comfortable but after the initial "break in" I've had no issues. It is not the softest mattress, but I have never owned a very soft mattress so I cannot say whether this is a benefit or a drawback. I I use a sheet and a small pad (more of a protector rather than providing any substantial cushioning) on top of the mattress. I am 125 lbs and happy to report that there are no noticeable body impressions that I can determine. I do notice that the mattress seems to retain a good bit of heat compared to the ones I've slept on in the past. This is great during the winter, not so much in the summer. Overall it is not a deal breaker for me.For the price, this was a great purchase. My 4/5 star rating takes into account the excellent price. If I had spent $600 the rating would be lower.
I Recommend.
May 22, 2016
Great bed at a very good price. I would recommend this bed but keep in mind, you either need a box spring or a platform bed with this mattress. Don't be like some of the genius ideas people have on here who throw it on any normal bed, of course issues will come about. Follow instructions and let it sit out until it is expanded 8" thick all around even in corners. You'll get a great night sleep and the bed will return to its normal shape after. My wife and I still enjoy the comfort this bed offers. Its soft but not too soft, but if you want a fluffy bed then just get a pillow top mattress cover for a nice price and your golden. REMEMBER THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! they are there for a reason.
Great firm/supportive mattress! incredible price! Make sure to get a topper too!
February 3, 2016
I had my previous mattress for about 10 years. It was creaky, stained, and I sunk into it. Having scoliosis, I needed a newer mattress with some actual support for my back that fit my 24-year-old budget. I'm a big believer that you don't want to spend more than a couple hundred bucks on a mattress. Anything else is over paying for a label, or riddiculous comfort buzzwords. This mattress was really cool to open, but be careful when you're opening it. I cut the piece of tape off the end and it snapped me really hard on the hand. The thing is under a lot of pressure! The mattress looks a bit thinner in person that it does in the picture, though I haven't given it the 48 hours to completely expand. That being said, it's amazing deal and very comfortable. I slept better than I had in a LONGGG time and my body really felt supported. The only thing about the mattress is that I think it REALLY needs a mattress topper to go with it. It's a firm mattress and I think once i've gotten the plush/quilted topper, it will add a few inches and be PERFECT. So get the mattress, order a topper, and i'd highly reccomend the box spring replacement. It will give you a super comfortable bed at than incredible price! Be smart. Get this bed.
comfy mattress for guest bedroom
July 26, 2015
This is the second one of these mattresses that I have purchased - both Queen size. The first, about 2-3 years ago for my son's room, and this one a few days ago to put in the guest bedroom. My son swears that his is the most comfortable mattress that he has ever slept on and that he will never want anything else now. I will find out next week when my quests arrive what they think of this one. Considering the prices for traditional mattresses of this size, if my guests find this mattress as comfortable as my son does, this is money very well spent.Update: December 2015. I have now had two different sets of guests stay in my guest room and they both said the bed was very comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to others.
Shocked at how comfortable this is!
October 26, 2013
I moved from Texas to Boston and sold all my furniture before the move, including my bed. I have a small car and was moving into an apartment on the second floor with a narrow staircase with a few bends - not great for trying to maneuver a mattress. I was pumped to discover that Amazon sold mattresses (and with free Prime shipping!!) and even more excited that they seemed to be reasonably priced. The mattress does come in a duffel bag that is HEAVY (well, it was heavy to me). I somehow managed to drag it upstairs by myself, but word to the wise, just get a friend/neighbor/roommate to help you, I felt pretty pathetic and almost let it go a few times. Be extremely careful cutting the layers away, things are packed pretty tightly and it's really easy to accidentally slice through too many layers! If the mattress starts to inflate before it's completely unpacked, you will have problems. I did not really have issues with the smell other people have mentioned - I noticed it, but it wasn't super strong, and it went away really fast.I've been pleasantly surprised since the first night how comfortable this is, considering the size, the price, and the delivery method! It is much firmer than I'm used to (had a pillowtop mattress for three years prior to this), but I find that I wake up much less stiff and sore than I used to. I'm a pretty light sleeper as is, but at least now when I wake up it's because of light or noise and not because I'm uncomfortable. I took an extra comforter I had lying around and put it underneath my fitted sheet, and that adds just a little extra coziness and warmth for cold New England nights.Overall, very pleased with the comfort and the value.UPDATE May 2015: Still sleeping on this mattress a year and a half later with absolutely no complaints. Bought this thinking it would be a temporary fix and that I would have to replace it within a year with something more expensive. As long as I rotate it regularly (like you're supposed to do with mattresses....) it feels just as good as when I first got it. I sleep better on this mattress than on any one I can remember ever owning. Extremely pleased at how well it is holding up!

Softer than expected, but working
September 20, 2017
I have a really firm memory foam mattress from Ikea, and while it gave me the back support I needed I was often waking up with an arm asleep or hip pain because it was too firm. I've had this for a few weeks now.I expected this to be softer than my mattress but a bit firmer than it is, so it's taken some getting used to because it's so soft. I don't have the hip and arm problems anymore, and my lower back feels okay, but I'm still trying to figure out the best pillow to go with it for my neck.
Good Mattress Protector
August 13, 2017
It's difficult to give a review at this stage of using this item as not much time has passed. What I can state is that it appears to be of the same quality as the first one purchased when the bed was new. It does look identical, but is not the same brand. I do not find it hot or crinkly as others have stated, and we do not have air conditioning! If it lasts as long as the first mattress protector (about 7 years), I will be very happy. Also, this one was $10.00 less expensive than the first, so that is a plus. I would recommend giving this product a try.
Does the job.
May 28, 2017
I tried sleeping on this without washing it first. Bad idea. Omg I was sweating buckets. I then washed it and it's a bit better. Still not as breathable as my mattress without it.. But it's not a torturous thing as it had been. But that's not why I've detracted a star. My sheets will not stay put with this thing on! I thought it might be the new mattress that we bought.. But no.. I pulled the cover off to wash it and didn't put it back on for a few days and my sheets were fine. As soon as I put the cover back, everything was sliding everywhere again. Oh well. It does what it's meant to do, that's what I need. I can deal with the sheet problem.
It's like magic!
March 3, 2017
This was very easy to put on my daughter's bed, and it fit perfectly! It's very soft and not crinkly, and with a regular sheet on top of it you forget it's even there. I have not tested the effectiveness when it comes to the waterproof feature, which is why I could only give it a 4/5 star, but I will update my review when I have.
Works well, thin and flat, not a fluffy pillowtop
July 30, 2016
It works well and has held up to washing well. I was a little disappointed at first because this is a very thin, flat protector (not fluffy or padded like most) but I have come to like it more because it lays flatter under sheets and is easier to wash. If your bed already has a pillow top or other fluffy surface this may work better than one of the fluffy ones. The size is plenty big for my mattress and fits well to cover the entire top of the mattress with a little overlap on the edges. Make sure to dry it on low for best results and not to damage the waterproof material inside.
Nice cover
June 12, 2016
Bought this as a mattress protector for a new foam mattress. The cover feels a bit like terry cloth, except very thin.It is deep enough to fit over a twelve inch mattress with room to spare. There is no "vinyl" smell at all. Would buy again.

Great but as guest bed
December 13, 2016
Back on a coil from a memory foam has been noticeably challenging. Getting out of bed, the bed gives greatly. Im 160 lbs for reference. Little creeky from the springs but overall quiet. Using as primary mattress. Good for now but will eventually go back to memory foam.
it was super comfy.
October 27, 2016
The first couple days i slept on it, it was super comfy... now a few weeks (almost a month) I'm waking up with back and shoulder pain ... I think it would be good for like a day bed where it's not being used all the time but not an everyday sleep ... I'm 20, 135 pounds ... might be good for kids ...It is pretty to look at
Pain if you sleep on side, go for it if you sleep on back
October 22, 2016
The bed didn't expand to full size for a while, still had some low areas. Jumping on it helped a bit. It's soft but firm, you feel the support. I sleep on my side and been waking up with terrible back pain since I got this bed. My partner sleeps on his back and he says he sleeps amazing. Since I can't change it, I guess I have to train myself to sleep on my back. Great support during activities other than sleeping.
Welp so much for my perfect ending...
August 22, 2016
After mattress hunting for about 3 months, I found this golden ticket! I read all the reviews, and the price was right up my alley! The shipping was great and everything was perfect until about one week ago. I notice a huge divot on my side of the bed. Being that I only had this bed for about three weeks and I'm 5'1 weighting at 130 pounds I was totally surprised. I would imagine this kind of divot to arise after YEARS of sleeping on the same side of the bed. I then improvised, and slept on the on the other side of the bed, and you guessed it- the same thing happened after two days. I was so disappointed! I wasn't expecting the best mattress, especially with the cheap price, but c'mon! Other than the divot, the bed was comfortable and the shipping was perfect so I have to give credit where its due.
Okay, But Needs a Good Foam Topper
February 28, 2016
We got this mattress for the upper bunk in our guest bedroom. Everything I read about selecting mattresses for top bunk beds was telling me to go with a 6" mattress, but I'm glad I listened to my gut and chose an 8" hybrid foam/inner spring mattress instead. This Signature Sleep Contour 8" is firm, and has a sort of quilted tight top, and feels pretty good to lay on, but I could feel the springs all along the sides, and as others have written about this, the corners and edges have no support and they just sink in. This mattress is nowhere near the quality or the comfort of the 10" pillow-top I got for the lower bunk. I ended up having to put a 2" high-quality foam topper on it to make sure my guest couldn't feel any of the springs. My guest had no complaints and actually said she slept very comfortably.
Almost the perfect cheap mattress solution…almost.
November 5, 2014
Purchased this 8" full-size mattress for my daughter's new IKEA bed called Nordli. IKEA offers a slatted bed base called Sultan Luroy that we are using in lieu of a box spring. I have to say that the bed is more than adequate for a growing child or teenager, but really has no support as you get closer to the outside edge of the mattress. It just sinks as you literally can 'roll out of bed'. Not sure if it is the lack of box spring or if the bed did not fully decompress as advertised, but I am a bit disappointed. Other than the edge issues, the bed does offers terrific support…just wish the area towards the outside stayed nice and firm. With that said, a couple ordering this as a a full-size option should look elsewhere. This is a very very strong chance that you will hate this. For the price, I have no trouble recommending it as you really do get what you pay for in this case. In hindsight, I probably would have tried an all-foam roll-out mattress that is similarly priced on this website.

Nice protector
September 29, 2017
I swear I selected a California king but somehow got a queen. It's terry cloth, which I don't like, but it doesn't make the bed too hot or anything. Although I ordered the wrong size, we used it anyway because we have pets. It does the job, but I didn't do enough research.

Soft enough and didn't make a crinkle noise, but slept very hot; was not breathable as advertised.
A thin protecter, not a software cushy mattress pad
September 5, 2017
It is very very thin. If you are looking for a thick soft pad to keep your bed warm and soft, this isn't it. But if a thin "protector" is what you want, this may fit the bill. T

Bed is fairly comfortable, but after 1.5 years its sagging terribly on one side. It was a cheap bed and lasted as long as a cheap bed should, I guess. Still not impressed that I only got that much life out of it. I am not a big guy. About 200 lbs, 6 foot tall. I only sleep in the he\bed, I do not read or watch tv in it.I would not buy this bed again or recommend it to anyone for regular use. Maybe a guest bed that gets used rarely but it will not last long if you sleep in it every day..
The mattress is grouped with a bed that has a foundation as a recommended to buy together
June 13, 2017
Just received today so this rating may change. I am giving two stars because the mattress tag states the mattress was not made for use with a foundation. The mattress is grouped with a bed that has a foundation as a recommended to buy together. Also the manual that comes with the mattress indicates it may be used with a foundation. It's a cheap mattress that will be in my guest bedroom so hopefully it will last before it caves in. Had I known it wasn't made for a foundation I would have made a different selection. It's basically impossible to return once opened so I'm stuck ... mattress is hard and springy so I have ordered a mattress topper to make it more comfortable
gotten softer over time, concaves in the middle.
May 26, 2017
Purchased back in 2015, every 6 months I flipped it over because it is recommended. It seems to have gotten softer over time, which has led to decrease of quality sleep. I like a semi-firm bed. I'm 6'2" 225lbs and a very active person, lift weights, hike for miles, snow sports, and more. If you have back problems, sleep on your back, or like more support...DO NOT GET THIS MATTRESS.Recommendation for guess room, kids, teens, college students on a budget.Cheap quality mattress for the price.
ONLY 1 YEAR WARRANTY
March 26, 2017
Buyer Beware- Their website states all mattresses come with a ONE YEAR warranty. I guess that's the reason I have a huge indentation in mine after less than 2 1/2 years... It was pretty comfortable... at first!
You pretty much get what you pay for
July 29, 2015
You pretty much get what you pay for. We didn't have a lot of money to spend and needed two mattresses so we bought these. They seem to be fine for my daughters right now because they're both little but as an adult when I've sat on them or laid down next to my daughter trying to get her to go to sleep I sink in badly and have been incredibly uncomfortable.
Wears down after just over a year & half of use.
July 9, 2014
Update: Review has dropped to 2 stars. After sleeping on it for a little over a year and a half, the middle has caved in with a noticeable gully. Pretty dang annoying. If I had to choose again I would not buy it.First off it is very impressive that this thing arrives as a huge Tootsie Roll and ends up a Queen Size mattress. Once expanded and inflated it is a very nice mattress. There is a big however for me. It is MUCH softer than other reviews have led me to believe. And that is a big problem for me. I am stomach sleeper and this mattress is way too soft for me and is actually causing me back pain. To the point that I have to replace it. So here comes the danger of ordering something like this online - sou are basically stuck with it. There is no reasonable way of trying to return it, aside from loading it up in a pickup and dropping it off in the Amazon lobby here in Seattle. Now I am going to have to try and Craig's List it and probably get about a 50% return in value for a brand new mattress that has about 7 nights of use on it.So Buyer Beware - Very nice mattress - but too soft for those of us that are stomach sleepers. If you live in the Seattle area and are looking to get one of these, I have one going for sale on the cheap.Signed - Totally bummed out in Seattle

Wish it worked for us!
July 13, 2017
I purchased a tuft & needle mattress and of course I needed a new mattress protector. I decided to go with this one, ignoring some reviews of how hot this protector got. The first night with this protector, my boyfriend woke up 3 times dripping sweat. I didnt experience this. Yet today I was laying on it for a few hours (being lazy on my new mattress lol) and I felt like a hot sensation on my butt and back. I decided to remove the protector to see what was causing this. Once I removed it, the problem went away. I wish it worked for me like it did to others. I live in Miami, where it's always hot and humid so I don't want to feel it while I'm laying on my bed!!! Lol will be returning.
Not what you think....
May 16, 2017
Not what you think....this is not a substantial cover - flimsy and thin. Barely covers the mattress (full) that I have which is a standard full size for my three year old (crib converts to full). Still will have to look for a bed chuck to ensure the accidents don't seep through. I only kept this because i had nothing for when the bed arrived. A more think cover and fuller corner piece/fabric to ensure its secured to the mattress would have been nice. Can't believe all these reviews... very odd.

May 14, 2017
I used this mattress protector for nearly two weeks. Per the instructions here and on the packaging, I started by washing and drying protector. Before the end of the two week period, I washed it per the instructions 3 separate times.During my two week test, I woke up numerous times on several nights with either by back or stomach covered in sweat. While the waterproofing appears to be effective, the mattress protector is not "cool" -- it is quite warm and substantially disrupted my sleep. After replacing it with a semi-waterproof cotton cover from Target, I have not had any issues with getting too hot.To reiterate (since I suspect SafeRest will automatically reply telling me to do so), I washed the cover several times per the instructions. Washing it does not solve the issue with it holding too much body heat.
Too hot, otherwise would've been exactly what I was looking for
April 28, 2017
It was too hot. I keep my apartment relatively cool but I'd wake up in the middle of the night and it would feel like I was sleeping on a heating pad. The front of my body would be cold and my back would be hot and sweaty. I tried it for a few weeks before I got frustrated when I couldn't fall asleep and took it off. I could immediately tell a difference in the temperature. I sleep on a foam mattress so it might be fine on a spring mattress.Pros: it fit my mattress perfectly and did not make any crinkling noise when I was moving around. Other than the temperature problem I couldn't even tell it was there.
Makes a loud crinkle noise under your sheets!
October 27, 2016
I'm not sure why this mattress protector gets such high reviews... it makes a lot of noise under the sheets and gives the bed a plastic feel to it. When laying down and turning over, it makes crinkle noises, and pretty loud too! There are many other mattress protectors out there that purposefully eliminate this noise without sacrificing protection. I have no doubt that this protector will protect your mattress... but you shouldn't have to sacrifice a nice soft feel and a no cheap-sounding noise to get that protection!
There's better products out there so I'll be returning this one
July 14, 2016
I ordered a queen for my obviously queen bed and was surprised to see that it did not fit. It was too big. I have not slept on it yet but already a failed product for me. There's better products out there so I'll be returning this one.

Look elsewhere!
August 10, 2017
Bought this mattress to replace a mattress in our new RV which was rock hard. It is in a loft area which is occ. inhabited by teens. They love it, I take naps on it. Only wish I'd gotten a 6" as opposed to the 8" as the latter puts you 14" from the ceiling in the loft. But kids don't mind and one of them will take the mattress off to college with them in 3-4 years. Mattress is very comfortable, BTW I hate memory foam anything, so this fit the bill.Update: had to return. Mattress cost $154.61, refund was only $131.11, and I HAD TO PAY SHIPPING BACK $62.00. Look elsewhere!
Very disappointed.

We got one for our daughter. It is uncomfortable and she can't sleep on it. Have submitted for a refund. Let's see if UPS will take it back with no packaging.

.Not as good as my 17 tear old one that it was going to replace. Big disappointment-now stored in spare room.Slept on it 2 nights. It was sort of too soft.
A Poor and Shameful Excuse for a Mattress.
January 24, 2016
Perhaps I should kick myself for being duped into believing that such technology exist that will permit a boxed inflatable mattress to be marketed as a wise purchasing decision, particularly the online variety, which makes returning the product a packaging and logistical nightmare. In hindsight, the entire product offering is counter intuitive. I purchased this soft, malformed roller coaster after reading a very vivid description from an apparently young, post-collegiate purchaser with undoubtedly less comfort requirements than a person of my age. After barely two months of use, this bed is a visual and functional disaster. After diligently going through the unpacking instructions and following accordingly, the bed seemingly inflated fully, but on the first night of sleeping, I swiftly noticed that I began to somewhat sink through the mattress. I am 198 pounds which is apparently greater mass than the mattress can handle. The sinking experience was more noticeable due to the remainder of the mattress being unmoved and level, while the portion that undergirded my body was recessed. Laying upon this mattress is like an awkward, badly coordinated waterbed experience. I allowed someone else to grant their opinion, after laying on the mattress she laughed after also experiencing the sensation of falling-through. I assume the unmoved portion of the mattress is an inbred cliff that is needed to pull-up oneself from the spongy sinkholes. As if the sleeping experience is not bad enough, the visual is downright embarrassing. As a reference, I attached two images of the mattress in its current form. The version without the sheet makes it slightly more difficult to see the indented areas, I therefore used pennies in the indented areas for perspective, and a quarter in the center area, which remains at normal level, above the sinkholes. Any casual observer can tell exactly where I slept on either night because the contour of my body imprint remains, like a sunken cavity. The mattress either has a permanent, never relenting memory, or cheap foam interior that never resuscitates after being laid upon. I have flipped the mattress on four occasions with no improved results. I am certain that the manufacturer will claim there is some solution that can be addressed by more flipping, or perhaps the simplified instructions were not followed – rubbish. The bottom line is that the "convenience of a rolled" mattress for shipping will cost the consumer a loss of functionality and the very technology that was designed to never be rolled and packed in a box. Perhaps this is the consequence of purchasing a low-cost mattress online, but the claims of the manufacturer are simply false. If they were a brick and mortar store in the vicinity, I would have returned this mattress mockery the very day in which it arrived. I care not to go through the hassle of packing this consumer rip-off for return, so I simply offer this review as a strongly worded and sincere “buyer beware”.

Not So Waterproof
October 17, 2017
We purchased a mattress less than 60 days ago, with the understanding that the TEN YEAR warranty would be voided if there were any water stains (among other clauses). I immediately purchased this mattress protector and and made sure it was on prior to use. Today, an ice pack leaked right through the mattress protector. Again, it’s less than two months old and the mattress protector did absolutely NOTHING to stop the water from getting down to the mattress. My new mattress now has a water stain on it. I will be contacting the company tomorrow and will update based on their response. I am NOT happy.
Not waterproof. Not worth the risk.
October 12, 2017
It's 5am and have been up for the past 2 hours cleaning my new mattress and sheets. I thought this protector was 100% waterproof but its not. My mattress is damp and smells slightly like urine from a rare occurance my son had an accident. This brought so much disappointment when I trusted that this protector would actually prevent any leak from reaching my mattress. I also made sure to wash this cover as instructed. I should have read the poor reviews but only based my purchase on the average overall rating. A one time odd occurrence is enough to ruin a lot.
Liquid goes right thru it, does not work.

This cover had some sort of plastic in it. It really makes for a sweaty uncomfortable bed. I suppose if a person was incontinent it would be good. I seriously think i could slide out of bed on the sweat. It is going to the Goodwill
I am a VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER. Sadly
March 29, 2017
1 star... This is most definitely NOT WATERPROOF!I am a VERY DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER. Sadly, this is the first bad review I believe I've written, but I just purchased my daughter a very beautiful & very comfortable memory foam Mattress. This mattress NEEDED a WATERPROOF COVER & within two weeks it now is stained forever. I've owned furniture for many many years & never had problems like this before. Would NOT RECOMMEND AS WATERPROOF.Comfortable-yes, waterproof-NO.
