Five Star Reviews: | 58% Large, high quality nursing cover May 18, 2016 My favorite nursing cover. I'm a plus sized Mom who was very modest and uncomfortable nursing because my previous nursing cover didn't cover me completely and would flap open. This one restored my faith in nursing covers. It covered all of me and I love the neck tie so you can see you little one and the back strap to keep the cover in place and not flapping. By far the best nursing cover!! A must-have for breastfeeding mum's - but start using it from Day 1!! March 9, 2016 My only regret with this product is not having used it from the start. I got it to use on a trip I was going to take with my 4 month old baby and she didn't take well to being covered up to feed, even though the material is light and the design is roomy. Nowadays she'll let me use it when she's really hungry and only for a short while... but I'm sure if I'd used it before she would have gotten used to it no problem. Personally I think it's great, it covers you up very well so you don't have to worry while breastfeeding even if baby unlatches or needs to burp suddenly, you can handle all that under the cover without risk. I definitely recommend it! Necessity for breastfeeding moms on the go! October 29, 2015 I bought this cover because I'm a little on the larger size and it seemed to be a good size for me. It is, it covers me well. Definitely and improvement over trying to cover myself with a towel or blanket. If you want to have cover while feeding in public one of these covers is a necessity. Definitely recommended. ... 3 different nursing covers and this one is my favorite. It's light so if you have a baby ... October 27, 2015 I've had 3 different nursing covers and this one is my favorite. It's light so if you have a baby who is normally warm it's not so hot in there that they pull it off (in public). The coverage is great too in case you have a baby who moves their legs sometimes while they nurse. Awesom product! perfect for hiding your racki in public April 3, 2015 This is great nursing cover, it is generous in size and covers everything, This light cotton fabric with perfect floral has been really nice for summer, it folds up small enough so it doesn't take up too much room in an already full diaper bag, it is small so we can easily take it anywhere. This one is thin so me and my baby don't sweat during the summer months. The strap around the neck is great too so we can see what baby are doing buy others can't. L LOVE IT!!!!!!! I have used it in restaurants, at parties at a friend's house, i've even walked around feeding him while wearing this.I highly suggest this as a must have item tucked into your diaper bag or hiking backpackpack!!! A breastfeeding mom's best friend! So glad to have found this cover March 24, 2015 So glad to have found this cover. Great reasonable price and great company to deal with. This cover is perfect for breastfeeding in public or when guests are over. Provides ample coverage so there is feeling of being exposed and yet I can still check in on baby while feeding and see him. Also helps to block outside distractions from him so he eats better. Overall great item and love the fabric and pattern. | 76% They work. September 17, 2017 These are the newborn pacifiers so they are a bit softer than the ones meant for older babies. I like to attach them to something because when they get dropped(or thrown) you'll be surprised and aggravated at the distance these things get when they roll-wow!!!! So many of them lost, maybe I should switch to the square ones lol Favorite Pacifer August 7, 2017 Best pacifier for a newborn! It is the right shape for an infants mouth. I got some cheapo ones that were totally the wrong shape that I was actually afraid to put in my baby's mouth. I tried the NUK ones as well, but they taught my baby to make a clicking sound with his tongue, so I threw those away. These have been perfect the whole time. Highly recommend! my newborn likes them August 1, 2017 I don't really know how to rate this since it was for my new born but since he didn't reject it i am giving them 5 stars because apparently my kid loves it. i bought this because they are like the ones they give you at the hospital and my kid didn't like the other shaped ones. this are great, nice texture and are one solid piece so there is no worrying about choking hazards. These are great for tiny babies June 12, 2017 These are great for tiny babies. My baby was only 4lbs 11oz. She could not fit regular pacifiers in her mouth because they hit her nose! She won't always take a pacifier, but when she does, she enjoys it. I particularly like that it is all made of the same material, because now that she pulls them out of her mouth, she doesn't always get them back in, but she doesn't care because she can still chomp down on it! Great for babies! May 25, 2016 Really love this pacifier. I bought this with my son when he was born,he'll be turning two this year, and they worked great! I continued to use soothie pacifiers until I took pacifiers away completely, they have pacifiers for ages 6 months and up also ! Another great thing is that my son didn't get hooked on these pacifiers, when it was time to ween him off of them it was a simple process, he didn't look for it or anything. It might've just been my child, but I'm planning on using these for my daughter, in pink, when she arrives this June ! Great pacifiers - my baby loves them April 27, 2016 My son started on these pacifiers in the NICU, and since coming home, has refused any other pacifier we've given him. We've tried Mam and Dr. Browns, and he only wants the Avent. I particularly love that these are yellow. Very durable and wash up easily. They do not stay in at all when he sucks vigorously. That gets annoying. But the Mam fell out too when he sucked hard. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 21% ... thread that comes along the side but it works fine. i love it June 21, 2017 not sure how to strap the black thread that comes along the side but it works fine. i love it. Good product but ... September 29, 2016 This is great for covering up while breastfeeding. The black string that's in the back made it a little bit difficult for me to maneuver with a wiggly child so I had to cut it off. Also the fabric is really thick and didn't seem to be that breathable. If you're pumping outside and it's breezy or kinda nipply, then this would be good to use, but when you use it during Spring/Summer like I had too, you over heat quickly and have to accommodate how you cover your child to make sure he/she can breath comfortably. Off color, but still a good cover July 28, 2016 Since baby isn't here I haven't actually gotten to use this yet but the material seems very breathable and it comes will a cute little bag to carry the cover around in. My only complaint is the material is much darker than I originally expected or maybe I received a different color. Overall I'm still satisfied with the purchase. Perfect March 10, 2016 Great coverage and fit. Love how the top has a thin plastic strip sewn in so you can see inside at what you're doing. Would have given it 5 stets but the fabric is a little rougher than I would like but other than that is perfect and a great price. No need to spend a ton on a bigger name version. great large cover! but was broken. July 30, 2015 Would of been 5 stars BUT the back black clasp to tighten the cord was broken! I'm leaving for a family trip and don't have time to exchange it. So I tied a knot in the black cord to keep it tight around me. Very large, great cover. My baby always pulls off my "udder cover" since its smaller and reveals "side boob". This one she can't! This is a great cover! Beautiful color and very reasonably priced July 7, 2015 This is a great cover! Beautiful color and very reasonably priced! The only issue I had with the product is that the tie string that came on the little pouch fell apart within seconds! This didn't affect the overall quality of the cover itself but it was still disappointing. | 10% I know lots of people who's kids love these. I was trying to find a "bottle ... September 1, 2017 This has nothing to do with the product itself. I know lots of people who's kids love these. I was trying to find a "bottle like pacifier" to transition my kid off bottles for comfort at night in the crib and I got these because they were most like Madella nipples. Sadly they were rejected outright. Nothing wrong with the product, my kid is just ornery and they didn't work for us. Get even if they don't take a binki. August 21, 2017 THESE are great. Our LO won't take a pacifier but loves to play with these. You can stick your finger in them so they chew on your finger when they are fussy. Easy to clean and no place to get gross stuff stuck. They can chew on the entire thing. Will be nice when she starts teething. Good product but not for us July 30, 2017 These soothies arrived on time, in great condition, and after about a month of use they are still in great condition. They are excellent quality, but unfortunately we are switching to a different pacifier because my son has trouble keeping these in his mouth. I think that's just a matter of preference for every baby, which is why I still gave these four stars. Our Infant's Favorite January 10, 2016 These are great, the hospital gave us a couple of these and all the other ones our daughter just doesn't really care for. I also like how you can see through the center, so you can see how the child is biting/sucking. The only complaint I have is these were about 4 days late... and at this point, I have another item in my order list that is a couple days late as well. Starting to become a trend, and starting to regret Amazon Prime. Does what the name says...Soothie September 7, 2015 One of my daughters really liked this pacifier. It's the one she got originally from the hospital, and continued to prefer, even though her twin sister moved on to others. We got a bunch of these bundled together with other baby products so we always had a lot, but always had to buy more.one downside to this pacifier is that once our daughter started teething, these often developed holes. There are a range of different types (softer for younger, more rigid for older). I think my kid was addicted to these. :p April 30, 2014 EDIT: Looks like they updated the picture from the bright neon green to the proper color. Leaving the review as-is though just in case it changes later.Aside from the color lies on the listing, these pacifiers are the only thing my kid will take, and to that effect they're pretty great. They've been very durable. We've yet to need to replace any of them for the last year due to damage or anything.Pretty disappointed in the pictures shown on Amazon making them look like they're neon green (ie. easy to see) because I've bought the 'green' ones at Walmart before and they're more of a muted blue-green. That's what these ones are too. They're very hard to track down when my kid throws his binky somewhere because of the muted color.Get the bright yellow ones for better sight. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 11% Great cover for the price May 12, 2017 Great cover for the price, does what it needs too, however the metal that pops the top open so you can see you child doesn't work right on both of the covers I purchased, so I still have to lift up the top to see down to my baby while she is nursing. Lovely fabric December 10, 2016 The fabric is amazingly soft. The metal could be stiffer for a better view of the baby. Color not as pictured May 31, 2016 Color is more of a grey than the sky blue pictured. On the back there's a string in which is used to tighten around you...I feel this is totally useless and actually quite annoying moving around. Rather it be a tie string. Bulky and uncomfortable. December 27, 2015 This thing is way too big! I guess better for it to be too big versus too small, but it's pretty embarrassing how much of my body this covers. The neck part is really annoying too. It's bent and won't go into a normal, curved shape.I've stopped using this, and instead I now use either a ring sling or an infinity scarf for coverage. It works for what it is. December 13, 2015 This is sufficient. I'm plus sized and it's definitely not a "poncho" like effect on me but it does cover what I need it to cover. Because it doesn't cover all the way around the black adjustable string usually just gets in the way. The wire on mine also doesn't stay firm so I can't always see my son when he's feeding. Delivered With a Broken Rope July 28, 2015 It came with broken rope on the bag. So I don't have high hopes for the string in the back either. Disappointing. I bought it specifically for my upcoming trip. I am yet to see how long it lasts. It is compact and fabric is good quality though. I wish they made strings better quality as one can't use it if back string breaks. | 6% Not my child's favorite September 23, 2017 They come highly recommended but I haven't had great success with them. They are stiff and fall out a lot for me. Granted could be my children, but that's the experience I have had with them. These are fine. They do the job November 29, 2015 These are fine. They do the job. They're BPA free, cheap, and it's cute to watch the little "hole" in the middle while your baby sucks on the pacifier. My boy was constantly spitting this out, and he could never find it or figure out how to get it back in his mouth. Cue the least fun game of "fetch" ever; I was the fetcher, he was the dropper. These were good in a pinch, but we learned quickly and replaced them with a Wubbanub in month one. watch out for defects October 17, 2015 These are my daughter's favorite pacifiers. My problem is that 2 of the 4 packages I ordered, 1 or more of the pacifiers had a hole on the end so she wouldn't take it. Having just had a newborn returning them was the last thing I was thinking about and I ended up losing them, or threw them away. I would test them as soon as they arrive! The only one my baby would take, but... January 12, 2014 When my fourth was born and would not take any of the pacifiers I had on hand, I went to the store and bought one of every kind of pacifier I could find. I gave them to her one by one, hoping that she would take ONE of them, leaving Soothie for last, even after the knock-off gum drops or whatever they're called. I don't care for the way they look or the weird nub looking thing on the backside of them, meant for a pacifier clip or something I suppose. As a last resort, I gave her the Soothie brand. She didn't take to it right away, but she didn't immediately spit it out like she had many of the others. Eventually she grew to like it and accept it and for that I am grateful. However it appears to be a magnet for every piece of hair, fur, and lint that comes it's way. I am forever washing the dang thing off, far more often than would be necessary for basic sanitation were it not a fuzz magnet. I have used various other brands and types with my previous children, and none of them had this issue. Of course there was a stray hair here and there that would make it's way, especially if it was freshly spit out and promptly dropped on the floor, but not to the extent that these do. If your child is willing to accept a different brand and there are no concerns with breastfeeding, then try a different brand. Great newborn paci only February 21, 2013 This pacifier was given to us at the hospital and it was great while she was a newborn, although she need lots of assistance keeping it in her mouth. At a little before 2 months old I noticed her losing interest in it and needing even extra assistance keeping it in her mouth so I switched her to Avent pacifiers and she is much happier. I am happy for the use I got out of it for the first 2 months but it was def. time to switch, plus these are not good for teeth developement at all. Baby likes it but they fall out really easily February 2, 2012 I got these because my baby just would not take the flat teat style ones that are so common nowadays. I live in Singapore and it took a while for the package to reach me and in the interim managed to find a more traditional style pacifier from Pidgeon but with an olive shaped teat. It's possible I would think more highly of the soothie if I had not tried the Pigeon pacifier first. My baby will take the soothie but does not prefer it over the pigeon one. The problem with the Soothie is that it falls out of his mouth really easy. If he lets up sucking for a moment it falls out of his mouth. If it happens to roll out of his cot (which seems to happen more frequently than a regular pacifier) it always lands teat side down (regular pacifiers are more likely to land teat side up). Additionally there is no cover for the soothie and it is more difficult to teather to a stroller or car seat so it is not a great pacifier to travel with.In short: I will use the soothies as back-ups as baby will take them but will not be buying more as a regular pacifier with an olive shaped teat is better | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 6% I bought this while I was pregnant and quickly sent ... October 2, 2016 I bought this while I was pregnant and quickly sent it back--there's funky wiring that's supposed to help with feeding, but it made it more uncomfortable when I tried to wear it. The product just did not seem well-made. This it very pretty pattern but i dont like how its not breathable ... July 14, 2016 This it very pretty pattern but i dont like how its not breathable so this summer i havnt been able to use it with my LO cause she gets to fussy cause its to hot Two Stars November 13, 2015 The material is too heavy for the use. Should have ordered a gauze one. Lesson Learned! Not the best November 6, 2015 Not as much coverage as the others I've purchased, it's not as wide. It is pretty though. I recommend hooter hiders or udder covers. Great idea, poor execution August 20, 2015 Great idea, poor execution. It's a pain to put on in public due to the drawstring in the back. The wire rim that's supposed to allow you to peek at your baby to assist with latching and so on collapses onto itself, so I spent more time trying to readjust it so I could make sure he's latched all while my son is flailing trying to get this thing off his face. I just ended up using the muslin blankets I was using prior to this purchase. The material is wonderfully breathable, I'm very sad that it didn't work for us. | 3% Don't Have the Time for These July 14, 2017 It's cute/amusing to see their little mouths sucking on the "soother" through the plastic. Work fine when we have the time to hold it in baby's mouth, but when you need to walk away... it will fall out very easily. Worthless if using in the car when you can't be there to hold it in. We prefer the mam pacifiers bc they do not fall out as easily. Arrived open January 28, 2017 Arrived in an open package, yuckI kept meaning to send them back but with a new baby I just forgot and got new ones to replace these at Walmart for less $ anyway.Lesson learned No miracle for baby that doesn't like pacis November 15, 2015 I could never get either of my kids to take a pacifier, but I heard these were the best so I bought them for baby #2. He won't suck on them, unless maybe someone has their finger inside it, but will occasionally chew. I think he's confused by any nipple that is not my own.I should note that the two we got had a little pin hole at the tip of the nipple, which would let air through. This doesn't seem like a great design. Product can be dangerous September 26, 2015 Pacifiers can be hit or miss. It really depends on what your child prefers and you won't know until they get here and you try different products. These pacifiers were once our go-to brand and the vanilla scent is nice. However, during our hospital stay, a nurse informed us that this product should not be used unsupervised because some babies have gotten their fingers stuck in the hole in the middle while sucking causing loss of circulation. That made us discontinue the use of this product entirely and we switched to a different brand. ... pacifiers we got from the hospital and my son loved those from the beginning July 8, 2015 We have the green 0-3 month pacifiers we got from the hospital and my son loved those from the beginning. Then I bought some 0-6 month blue ones and they were so hard (not as flexible as the 0-3 month ones) and he would not suck on those. So I found these blue 0-3 month ones, thinking they would be identical to the green ones he had - same brand and everything. They weren't - there were open holes in each of the nipples so when he sucked on them, he kept sucking in air. I don't know if that was a defect or if they are all like that, but ours ended up in the garbage :( Just putting it out there - these might be better to buy in a store if you can, then you can make sure there aren't any holes in the nipple end. Not for my baby... April 17, 2013 My baby found these very difficult to keep in her mouth, so I found myself literally holding it in for 45 minutes. I know the hospital uses these and they are supposedly wonderful for preventing teething issues, but I finally caved and bought a Dr. Browns version that is specifically made to work similarly. I think with the pacifier having such a straight piece that went in her mouth she couldn't keep a good suction on it. Also, the round back was so big it hit her nose, complicating it even further. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 4% Not worth the hassle January 17, 2016 Not a fan!* the top area that's supposed to allow me to see the baby was bent and would not stay open.* it is very hot under the apron.* if your plus size, you will need to be careful not to show your sides (boobs). However, I did like*The drawstring in th back Deshaped after wash. January 15, 2016 The shape of the cover was badly damaged in one wash. Now I can't use it because I can't see my baby from the top. Was sent wrong item from what I specifically ordered December 14, 2015 Clicked on and ordered the "White Flower" pattern and received a totally different color and pattern that I am not interested in nor enjoy. Wire bent so doesn't stand up. December 2, 2015 It was stuffed into a small package and the wire that is supposed to hold the fabric out was bent. And so it didn't hold the fabric out, so I couldn't see my baby while he nursed. So I didn't use it. Cute looking but doesn't function as it should August 23, 2015 The drawstring in the back totally gets in the way and isn't helpful for any purpose. The rim collapses on itself so you can't peek at baby to help him latch. Very very frustrating. | 5% Breastfed baby hates these! October 8, 2017 My baby hates these! The nipple is hard and shaped like a bottle nipple, and too thin, and he just can't latch on. He only used this pacifier once or twice and has spit it out every other time. The Nuk pacifiers are WAY better for breastfed babies because they more closely resemble mommy's nipple. My baby didn't care for these. Our hospital used ... September 22, 2017 My baby didn't care for these. Our hospital used normal pacifiers, so maybe that's why. She prefers the avent orthodontic pacifiers. Beware...major flaw in design June 19, 2016 These were my baby's favorites until one morning when she got it stuck on her finger and her finger turned purple. Thank goodness I heard the cries. If it had been much longer bad things could've happened. Upon researching this I found we weren't the only ones that this happened to. I'm sad that a company so wonderful would overlook this major flaw. We immediately got rid of all of these and changed brands. i don't recommend June 9, 2015 They have a hole in the nipple that results in baby swallowing a ton of air. Not sure why it was designed that way but i am definitely not using this product. I would not recommend it. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
