I love this product for my curly hair! I use this along with the Amplifier and the combination together works wonders. I have thick hair but this light mousse holds very well for all day wear. I like that it doesn't take much product either. Just 2 pumps is all I need.

I've been using this product for a few years, since I cut my fine hair short. The lightweight mousse is much stronger than their strong mousse . it's odd but thats the way they work. I'm sure if people who wear their hair spiked up knew this they would buy the lightweight instead of the strong Curlesque Moussse. It's a great strong mousse.

PROS: My curls are very weak (barely curly hair.) Usually, curl products either emphasize a curl but leave my hair stiff and crunchy, or they are too glossy/moisturizing and weigh my curls down. This is what I've been searching for. It's my holy grail hair product. I get definition and a bit of smoothing effect, while making my curls more "curly." It even makes my fine hair appear more thick. Smell is fine.CONS: Not the cheapest in the world, but there are much more expensive products too. I could see how this would weigh someone's hair down if they didn't use it sparingly.APPLICATION TIPS: I was using "Spray it Curly" by itself. I now use the Spray it Curly sprayed into my hand to scrunch my ends with. I then take this and put a small amount at a time into my hands and work some into my root area (and some mid-shaft too). I could see using this a bit on my ends too.PURCHASING TIPS: I get this at a better price through amazon.

I have fine, curly hair, and have always searched for products to hold my curls without being stiff... I finally found the product! (I had even tried the Curlesque heavier mousse... nope!)This product gives me great, natural-looking curls that last for days! (I often take naps, and my hair looks great afterward!) I have never been so pleased with hair products!

Cheap mousse, but somehow the BEST. Curly girl for life.

My hairdresser recommended this and I have been using it for 2-3 years. It adds more body to my thinning hair than any product I have tried.

I love this product however it's been discontinued a couple of years ago and when I saw it was being sold on Amazon I was happy to find it. When I received it I compared the ingredients on the can from Amazon vs the can I bought from local salon 3 years ago and there are different ingredients that concern me the one on Amazon shows warning flammable and some other ingredients. The smell has a hint of what it usually smells like. I noticed when I used it for the first time today while my hair was wet it had a burning feeling on my scalp which I thought was weird and the can says not sold in us. So it makes me wonder if this product is a knock off of the real thing with some hazardous ingredients which I don't know will harm anyone? I did google and did not see anything only some of these ingredients are used in skin care that's causes acne is all I saw. So maybe it's safe for the hair. My hair seemed fine all day today and worked like the original giving a healthy look. The can from this site has the red orange black that says hazardous and The can that was bought from this site says not for sale in us. And the can that was bought in u.s. Salon does not have this. See picture. Took pictures of both cans and their ingredients.

Too light to use on my hair alone so I usually pair it with a crème. I have fine naturally curly hair that gets crazy frizzy.

Very very hard to find this product. Love love love this Lightweight Mousse. Only 4 stars because Amazon does not offer the lightweight mousse in the Amazon Prime, only the Strong Mousse, which I cannot use. I have been using this product for years and its the best and only line of products I will use on my curly hair. Just wish it was on the prime program.

Not a problem with the product..........but for me.....if you have short thinning hair and want beautiful easy curl .....this is the product for you.

Doesn't leave my hair crunchy. Can use it one day, sleep on it, not wash my hair the next day, and my hair is presentable enough to go to work. I have thin, wavy, short hair. This keeps it from poofing when I'm too lazy to blow dry (I live in a place with high humidity).My boyfriend uses it too. He has long crazy curls. It keeps his curls tight and maintained. He switched from his old product to this one (he used to use leave in conditioner), but now that his hair is long he needed something lighter that didn't weigh down his hair. This has done the trick.

If you don't use the stuff it is my old works well. Price is neither better nor worse than in store, but if you're not at the store having it delivered is nice.

Works well for curling but you have to be careful with amount. Too much and my hair was crunchy.

I don't know why I bought this, I don't even have curly hair. But it definitely keeps the frizzy hair down when I wear my hair in a pony tail before it dries.

Eh, this mousse is fine. I like it because it's alcohol free, which means my curls won't be crunchy and dried otu. But it's definitely a low-cost mousse. It obviously has waxes in it and doesn't rinse out as easily as other products on day 2. I'm keeping it and will use it but I'm not certain I will buy it again.

Not as advertised in the picture. Item formula and packaging has apparently been changed. Do not like this formulation as well as the former ingredients.

This mousse worked weird for me. It was lightweight, it didn't make my hair stiff...but it also didn't hold my curls in well at all and made my hair appear greasy and odd textured all day. I like VOLUME in my curls and this product didn't really give me that. It isn't a bad product by any means. I adore the smell and the rest of the Curlesque collection, I just don't think I'll ever buy this product again.

This made my hair a little stiff......I honestly LOVE Herbal Essences Curl Boosting Mousse the best! It boosts my straight hair into curls and is not sticky or heavy!

Makes your hair extremely hard.

The tressemme naturals mousse was okay, it didn't work on my hair his i thought it would. Maybe I just didn't know how to use it..

I purchased this to use as a regular product for everyday use as I've recently moved to a humid place and my soft soft hair is frizzy now. It's not what I liked it to be. It's sticky and when it dries it makes your hair sticked and dry. I tried this with wet to dry hair neither worked. I was looking for something more creamy and oily rather than sticky so that it could be used for regular days. It seems that this product may be useful only occasionally when you're going to a party or something and you need to wash it off after you return home. Otherwise if it's on your hair for more than a day it'll look awful and maybe damage your hair as it doesn't let the air through it

Good at first, then later on, my curls look dry. Will finish the product and use to slick my hair back from time to time. It does have decent hold. But I won't buy again. I'll use a non-drying gel from now on.

My baby fine curls just looked dry and crispy. I do better with a creme or balm. Sadly, this item isn't eligible for return, so I'm out almost $8.

Not at all what described.I used it and just weighed hair down and didn't help at all with curls.

I have been searching for the perfect mousse for my curly hair for years. The first few days I used this mousse I thought I had found it; it was lightweight and my curls looked fantastic without frizz. After day four I realized that there was quite a lot of residue build up, so the next day I washed my hair twice, but to no avail. I still haven't been able to get it all out and I've been washing my hair at least 2 times for the last 3-4 days.

I can not get this stuff out of my hair. I accidentally bought the light version instead of the intended strong.

i cant get this stuff out of my hair.... i washed my hair 4 times and then went to the salon, the girl there washed it 3 times and still my roots are stuck together..... not to mention my curls were rock hard :(

I would hate to see what a regular or stiff mousse would be, this is hardly light. Hair is left very stiff. Has to be washed out. Hoping for a little help with holding soft curls but curls felt like toothpicks. Don't waste your money if your are truly wanting something lightweight.

Not a fan as this mousse is tough on your hair and leaves your hair feeling crusty as all can be. It's not the best product compared to John Freida's de-frizz curling mousse. This doesn't leave my hair feeling fresh and soft and just leaves it feeling too hardened and doesn't last all day either. Definitely won't be buying this again.
