This beautiful dress came in two days - I was astonished at the quality of the dress - it was made of a very stretchy fabric so it was easy to zip. I am a 1x but ordered one size up (2x) and it fit perfectly. I put a 5 layer petticoat underneath and got compliments all night on my 40's look! The bodice looked good on my very ample boobs- I would definitely purchase this Miusol dress again

Absolutely LOVE this dress. The quality of the material and the "finish" of the sewing is first-class. The dress is also forgiving around the hips area and I actually DONT have to wear spandex to achieve that hour-glass shape.I normally wear a size 12/14 in dresses but instead of buying the large I bought a medium. I knew to do this because of reading the reviews thoroughly. I don't know about Miusols other dresses, But this is a knock-out!

I am actually very impressed with this. My husband couldn't believe I bought it from Amazon without trying it on! The top is fully lined and the material feels like a heavy cotton twill. It's just a tad snug across the chest, but the waist and hips are great. I wish it were just a little longer as it hits at the top of my knees. My biggest complaint is the cut-out bodice. It's actually a fold that creates the collar look at the neck and it doesn't lay nice at the corners of the square. But maybe I'm too picky. I bought a large, I'm 5'7" & 160 lbs. I also purchased a 26" petticoat which really completes the look, but should have got a 24" as the dress and slip hit at the exact same point and I feel the dress should be a little longer than the petticoat. Overall, it's great and perfect for what I needed.Edit- I got so many compliments on it. More than I could count! Changing my review to 5 stars!

My fiance and I decided on a December wedding. Exactly three days before Christmas to be precise. I bought this gown is my wedding dress tried it on and it was like it was tailored for me. It's Exquisite everything I expected and more. Very happy can't wait until he sees me walk down the aisle towards him. I hope he has blown away with me in the dress as I was with the dress. Let me start by saying I have been in love with dress FOR YEARS!!!! I had seen it on other sites including Amazon at a much higher price. I've kept my eyes on it FOR YEARS, being at one time a military wife, l've always had special functions to dress up for. I've read the various reviews posted concerning this dress, nothing changed my mind. Once l saw the price marked down l snatched it up. I carefully read and reread the descriptions. The company ask for your measurements, which l supplied with a little wiggle room.I received my dress and fell in love all over again!! I tried it on and the way it fit, no bra was required. It fits perfectly!! I would not change a thing!! I wore the dress to a special function for my husband and received numerous compliments from strangers. I felt beautiful!! I will be ordering this dress again in another color!NOT EVERY DRESS IS MADE FOR EVERY BODY TYPE-KNOW YOURS!

This dress is beautiful just as described in picture the dress arrived before the date it said in the checkout was happy with that fits everywhere but in the bust fabric is great not heavy flows nicely all of the sewing and everything on this dress was perfect just as picture and the seller was a great joy to work with since i needed to send back beause it did not fit in the bust they resolved my problem very quick in less than 24 hours would order from them again.

This is a lace back dress with a tail. It has sequence on two sections and its beautiful. The fit is good too. Made of a thick material very expensive looking.

I love the dress!!!! The only issue was the hips part, too tight so I had to take it for alterations , but other than that it is a great dress.I will buy it again in a different color

I love the cut of a 1950's dress - they cut in and flare out in all the right places - this dress is no different.1. The fabric is a medium weight cotton with some stretch2. It has a really wide waist band, hence the four stars, which makes it a bit difficult to hide a fluffy mid-section or accessorize with a belt. I slapped on a pair of Spanx and all was right with the world, but I would prefer not to wear shape wear as they make going to the restroom more of challenge than it needs to be.3. The bust line is cut into a nice "v", but is not super low as to show all of your business or be inappropriate for work attire.4. There were no skipped or pulled stitches and no hanging threads.5. I am 5'3" and this dress hit me a couple of inches below the knee, I will have to have it tailored which is nothing new for me. The hem contained no skipped or pulled stitches and no hanging threads.6. The armholes were wide enough to fit comfortably without gaping at the bust line.This dress transitions nicely to the fall because of the weight of the material. I was able to pair it with a nice blazer and wear it to work - I did have to purchase an obi type belt to compensate for the super wide waist band, but overall I like this dress and would recommend it to others.

I purchased this dress to wear to a wedding in May. I was not sure if this was going to be acceptable for me to wear, but I did it any how. I have worn this to a few places and love how this fits me. This has a nice wide bottom on the dress, lets air in. I have also worn this with a petticoat and it fills it nicely.If you are big busted (I am a 38 G ), you can wear this but you do stick out a little bit. I am a little self conscious of what I wear for the top of me. I found a little black cover to put over this and I am great to go. I love this dress and have purchased 5 of them. I will keep buying them as long as they have my size, and different colors I don't have.This dress seems to be made very well, it has held up under some dancing, getting in and out of a car (lost my way to a place and had to keep getting this thing out of the way of the shifter on the car).Great dress if you want to have something a little old fashion and feels so great while wearing.

I bought another dress similar to this one in a large and it fit perfectly.. but this large was huge on me.. The fabric is stretchy so keep that in mind!Note that it is dry clean only and it came very wrinkled so I had to have it pressed at the cleaners before I could wear it.. Which is a downside for me because I dont take anything to the cleaners.. I would rather be able to iron it myself.. but thats just me :)I loved it and got so many compliments!

The dress of a dense and heavy material that gives shape to the dress. I bought a red dress. Color on the picture a little darker than the one who came. Under this dress I bought a petticoat. It's a nice dress.

This a really nice dress for the price. I bought it for a pin up party, and It was a big hit. If you want it to "poof out", I recommend buying a crinoline. The material is very nice, but the zipper is crap! I had a hard time zipping it, and so did my husband. I plan to switch out the zipper.

Material is sturdy, looks exactly as pictured. Fits according to sizing chart. Shipped very fast. Zipper is a p.o.s. that I know will crap out soon. Zippers can be replaced for 10 bucks so no biggie since the dress is less than $20 and an absolute steal. Very surprised at this buy.

Dress is beautiful. Well made. I ordered 2. Size 8 and size 10. One was silver and the other was gun metal color darker grey but also beautiful. I was expecting the silver but was happy the darker one was the one I chose to wear. Dress has a long train. I did not alter that but you could have it altered to bustle if you wanted to. I'm hoping to post a pic. I wore this as a mother of the bride dress.

I love this dress, it's beautiful. One tiny flaw is that they boning is sharp at the top of the bust line. I took it to my tailor an and she fixed it. I am 5 foot 6 inches tall and this dress just touches the floor in the front while I'm barefooted, I'll have to wear a lower heel than I was going to wear.

not my style also too small

I fell in love with this dress the first time i saw it months ago on another site. When I saw it on Amazon with prime delivery I had to have it. Very good quality good weight material. The dress itself fits as expected. My only complaint why it does not get 5 stars is the lining runs a little smaller. I had to open the lining a little at the hips then it fit perfectly.

So, I had fallen in Love with this dress when I first stumbled upon it, the seller was great at getting back to my emails it did take a day each time but I think that was due to the time change. My biggest disappointment with this dress was the fact that on the description it says that the back is a ZIP closure and infact is a lace up corset style which made me happy because when I had come across this dress I said to my self that it would be perfect if it was a lace up style becuase I favor that most. However, I wouldn't have had them alter it had I known. I'm not sure if it was due to the alterations or if it would have come that way anyways but it seemed as if there was too much fabric under the reushing in the lower stomach area? Not sure as to why? On the flap for behind the lace up part there was no was to clasp to keep it up while putting it on so had to put one in, the dress was a bit too long and the ends of the tie were not finished so they frayed. All these were pretty minor and could be fixed with a few alterations and in the end when it was all tied up and tightend it fit like a glove.

I'm 120lbs, 5'-3", 34C bra size. I ordered the small. It is a bit big in the mid section and chest area, I may have the dress altered but I still wear it as is. In addition, the part that goes around the breast area (the polka dotted section) seems to stick out a bit. I had to sew those little flaps down.FYI, I could see if you have smaller breasts this might be loose in the chest area. I just fit but still a bit loose for me.The material is nice. It is thick though. Over all tho, the dress is very cute.

I have ordered from this company before. It's a good company and the dress was beautiful. The color exactly as pictured. It just wasn't for me. The fabric has nice stretch but was too heavy and thick for me. But the style is beautiful and flattering. I would have given it four or five stars if it wasn't for the fabric.

Very pretty dress and I love the design with the solid print around the chest, but it does seem to run small. I was going to compare this to similar dresses and order the one with measurements closest to my own body, but now the page with the size chart is missing though I swear it was there when I originally bought it. Please put the size chart up!

Overall, I was happy with this purchase. Im 5'6 and 156lbs and I ordered a large. The dress is strechy so if its a little tight, you can still zip it comfortably. A lot of the reviews said that the dress was too small in the bust area. That was opposite for me. I'm a 38B and the chest was too big for me, and it was also a little bit big on the shoulders. nothing a push up bra cant fix but if you have a small bust like me, its going to be a little bit too big. around my hips and back and in the middle it fit perfect though. Also, be ready to iron the bottom part because it comes folded up and REALLY wrinkled to where you cant even see the creases in the skirt. those are my only two complaints. DEFINATELY get a petticoat, i went with what the other reviews said and the petticoat completes the look!!!

Were my D-cup boobs supposed to fit in these "pockets"? And Ive notoced with these vintage style dresses, when you try to force big ta-tas into them, the waistline of the dress rides high to accommodate. These styles were not meant to look like today's dresses with the ultra-high waistline that hits the top of the ribcage and a skirt ballooning out from there. So, too small in the boobage and a bit too large everywhere else. I'm average height, 42-31-40 and ordered a large. Nice heavy fabric with lots of stretch.

Full disclosure: To write this review, I had to say how it fit. So I just only guessed that it fit "as expected."Now for my real review. I bought this to wear to my sister's wedding. I figured it would also be perfect to wear on wine tours, and any slightly dressy event where a bit of flare would be welcome. The dress is gorgeous. It's a high quality fabric. Slightly stretchy, but rigid enough to resist wrinkles and allow a nice little ruffling around the skirt. The color (navy blue) was as shown and beautiful! As others mentioned in their reviews, I can see how the little fabric around the bust and neck may be a problem to keep it lying down. But I would think that a strip of permanent fabric mending tape would fix that.Now the big negative: I wish I would have tried it on before the day of the wedding, but I was so busy with wedding planning that I barely had time to sleep. On the morning of the wedding I layed it on my bed and saw a very obvious unhemmed seam! Maybe it was torn at the seam? I'm not sure. I just know I was very upset, as the garment looked to be well made otherwise. So I tossed it in a box, sent it back, and wore one of my old dresses to the wedding.I actually would buy this adorable rockabilly dress again. Very nice, but small

Pretty but way too small. I ordered a second one to wear at my daughter's wedding but they were both too small. Both sizes were larger than what I buy here. I wear a 10. Ordered a 12 and a 14. Both were too small. Very sad abt that as I had to buy another dress for my daughter's wedding.

Dress is made of good quality, but it did seem as though the top was slightly crooked or there was too much fabric at the top. The gold one is actually gold colored. I had looked several places for gold dresses that stated they were gold, but were not. The dress fit well despite the extra fabric at the top. It was very pretty on me, but I just didn't care for the top part. I am 5'10 and the dress wasn't as long as it is in the picture, which I kind of expected. The dress came to my ankles in the front without shoes (planned to wear heels with it). The back (train) of the dress was longer as shown in the picture, but the dress just didn't work for me.

Although I love this dress, I'd have to say the dress was not properly sewn as properly. It was crooked and the thread came loose. I had to take it to the dry cleaner to have it sewn evenly. I had to pay extra for the lady to have it done by Saturday, December 5 because that was my Masquerade Ball event I needed to attend. Overall, I love, love the dress. I had many compliments.

I'm a bit dissappointed with this dress to be honest. The beading isn't as full as in the picture, and it doesn't fit the same way either. I was expecting more of a mermaid fit along the hips but that's not the case with this dress, and the back of the train doesn't fall as it does in the picture either. I'm not sure why there is an inside liner that is attached to the satin matterial. For the price, it isn't horrible. I'll be taking it to my alteration shop to see about getting some more beading added and for the mermaid fit to be adjusted. This dress is inspired by, but not exact to the picture. Hopefully it will be fixed in time for the wedding I'm going to!

I would've loved this dress... but it's cheaply made and I'm so so disappointed in that. The first time I tried it on, I couldn't get the zipper up because it was broken. The fabric on the dress is lovely but you can't use a cheap zipper with heavy fabric! I'll be returning this.

The color was true to the photo (dark red) and the fabric was thick. You need a petticoat to have it sit like it does in the photo. Problem - I tried the dress on and it was way too small. I'm trying to figure out if I got the wrong size or if this is just how this vendor works? My dress was ordered as a 2XL, my tag says L, it is like a size too small I'd say, it's incredibly stretchy so after trying, I got it on (before I realized the tag said L) but obviously it doesn't sit pretty and is incredibly uncomfortable through the midsection and ribs.. I saw girls bigger than me wearing the 2XL in reviews so I have to assume I was sent the wrong size, not sure what to do!

(Posting from my husband's account that we bought the dress from) I am a little afraid to return this item, because I'm not sure what the labor policies of the company are, and I don't want an employee held accountable for a company that seems to require them to sew so quickly.I used to sew for a living; most Americans don't realize that there isn't an automated system for making clothes other than a high-speed sewing machine. Most of the dress is sewn beautifully, much better than I could do, which is why I think the fault is due to being rushed and not to general sloppiness. Unfortunately, there is a pucker where the waist meets the skirt on both of the side seams, so there's a little square corner sticking out (see waist on left of photo.)I am between a size 14 and 16, and while I could zip up the dress no problem due to the stretchiness (I really do like the fabric; it may be cheap but it's comfortable!) the waist and area between the waist and hips was tight and didn't sit smoothly the way I expected. I do have love handles, but typically a size 16 offers ample room and is usually too big. The top fit beautifully, though I still need to figure out the neckline; if not for the tightness and the fault, I'd love this dress.So, I'm sad. I wish I knew that returning it wouldn't affect the person who made it.

I looked at the sizing chart & read reviews I thought a small would be perfect for me. When I took it out of the bag I immediately knew it was going to be way to big. I decided to maybe give the benefit of doubt and try it on. I was right it was WAY to large. I am a size 26 waist, 34A bust. 5 foot 4 inches and 115lbs. Definitely NOT a dress for small breasted women. It is also way to stretchy to be advertised for a tight fitting dress. The fabric is super weird too... Not flattering at all... Will be sending it back.. Sad because it was going to be for family pictures.

This fit perfectly I'm 5'6" and it fell right below my knees. However this arrived and tried it on right away it came stained with a black mark on it. I ordered it for a specific occasion that was the day after it arrived so I not have time to return it. I washed it and the stain mostly came out but not completely. It also had a run in it that went about the middle of the bottom half down. Along with more than a few stray strings. I ordered it In the wine color and to me it didn't look as dark as it did in the picture. It did hold up well in the washer without shrinking or falling apart. If you choose to order this do so well in advance of when you need it in case you have problems.

The material was a pretty good quality, and seemed to be put together well, however, just like with a lot of reviews, this dress is not exactly as pictured. Mainly because the "rouching", or whatever it is called actually just stops at the waist and does not go down over the hips as pictured. Also I ordered a size 2, and even with being able to lace it up in the back, it is still entirely too big. As I don't really have the time to find something else, I will have to pay a little more than what I paid for the dress to have it taken in, in the hopes it will fit better. Overall, I gave it 2 stars only because it was quality material and the price was good. Other than that, I would not purchase again

Was delivered crammed in a small package and just looked substandard quality. Not like the picture. They might consider shipping in a box. I returned it. The fit was not as described either...at least in the bust area, no cups, just very heavy lining. I did not like it at all.

I did not like the material. The style of the dress is deceiving because it did not fit in the places that it should fit to look like the picture. I like the silver in the picture but what I got was not what was depicted. It was a let down.

Bustline is fine but though I ordered a size 10 a bigger size the dress does not pass my waist to fit my hips. It is a beautiful and rich looking, you don't need to add anything to dress it up but the same problem persists ans I'm kicking myself for ordering it online... dressmakers do not cut or style for the mixed race woman who's figure may have more curves than others. I'm a size 6 or 8 (based on designer) standing 5'4" and 135lbs (figure 8 shape) but when purchasing online such styles as this dress I must order an 8 or 10 to get a fit and I still have to alter it in either the bust or hip area; sadly with this dress it would cost me as much as the purchase price for any alterations... I now have to look for something else for my anniversary and I would be returning this item if there were information to do so, no return information was shipped with the dress!

I wear a 16W and I ordered a 20 (just because the recent bridal dress I ordered was a size 20 and was tight). I probably should have ordered a 18 and it would have fit better. I did not like the back (too hard to lace up) and the original description said, "zipper back." I would have sent the dress back, but there was not a return label or information in the bag (just a reusable bag). I've been watching this dress on various IG and FB post - I was disappointed that the dress really did not look like the image they show online. The beading is NOT accurate and the dress is actually super long (which I expected because I'm only 5'3). I'll just donate the dress to one of those Prom Stores for those who can't afford a dress. I only lost $60 or so (with shipping). I'm sure with a good seamstress you can have the ideal look that is shown.Good Points: It's a nice silver, long for those who need the length and excellent on priceBad Points: It does not look like the image online, description is not accurate and mine is missing lining (that is what makes it look cheap).

So there are a couple of different issues here.1. due to the holiday the dress wasn't shipped until march (I agreed and should have decided to get my money back at that point, hindsight right...) and I believe it could be the reason why the other problems occurred2. the dress is too large in the breast area and too small in the hips. I provided my measurements and I almost wonder if they go them backwards. the stomach area is also too big so I wondered if they mixed my order up with someone else3. the top front which should fit straight across is lopsided and really diminishes anything from trying to save it (I was going to take it to a local tailor to see what they could do but I am not going to put any more money into itthis is going to get donated and maybe someone who is large at top with a bit of a stomach and small hips, an apple type shape, could wear itthe dress design is quite beautiful and had it worked out I am sure it would have been great, however, I guess there is always a few exceptions to the rules and I am one of them as only a few others have experienced such misfortune

The dress I received is ENTIRELY different than the one I ordered. It has no cut out area, looks nothing like the picture, and is a different style. I ordered this dress in black a few months ago and it was perfect. However, I ordered the exact same dress in red last month and it is NOT the same dress. I tried to return it with NO luck! Buyer beware!

Ordering this at the price that it is, I didn't expect it to be perfect. BUT, this dress is NOTHING like the picture. It's VERY long (almost down to my ankles). The color red is NOT EVEN CLOSE to the picture. The red that my dress came as is more of a bright Orange-Ish Red than a deep rouge. Luckily, I have someone who is willing to hem about 4 inches off of it, but I would NOT recommend this dress to anyone. I'm pretty disappointed Amazon would let a seller post something so dishonest.

Dress is beautiful but came with 5 inches of hemline not sewn and a smaller section of hemline not sewn in another spot. Handwash and ironing required before wearing due to many wrinkles and strong chemical smell. Seller was difficult to deal with which may be due to language barrier - sent wrong size item & referred to different style dress. The dress is gorgeous (even if you have to sew, wash and iron it before wearing) but they got the size wrong on 2 out of 3 orders. Exchange was not possible and I have to pay shipping again to reorder.

Waist line sits much higher than shownI am petite and short waisted and still sits too high making me look frumpy. About 3-4 inch difference in actual dress versus elongated waistline shown on Amazon. Sad. I loved it on line but returning due to waistline

I wear a 2x. I ordered a 3x because of reviews saying it runs a bit small. I can't even zip it up. Then I see a review (buried) that a size 13/14 girl can wear the 3x happily. That isn't a 3x .. that is an XL. Learn your sizes.

The dress was NOT like the picture type stitching was horrible and Crooked. I contact the seller and they do not want to pay for shipping. Do not waste your money on this dress I will never purchase from this seller again

Order 2 to 4 sizes larger than usual. I usually order a 14 to 16 in dress. Due to the fit of the dress I ordered a size 18 and it would not go over my hips. Ended up ordering a size 22 and had it taken up.

This dress is the worst thing item I've ever ordered off here it was packaged bad some of the sequins were just hanging by a string it Is size two but to big for me I'm a three in jeans and it just didn't look like the picture at all the picture makes it look so pretty I tried it oon was gonna post a picture but its awful I am so disappointed I was using it as my wedding dress there is no time to order something else planning to send this item back goona have someone look at it see if it can be altered reasonable price if not ill be sending back for a refund its awful I cried in it that's not how I should feel in my wedding dress and no they were not tears of job I was so excited about the dress I ordered my daughters flower girl dress off here is perfect but not my wedding dress like I said I'm very disappointed

This was a terrible dress, there is nothing good about it. The material is cheap, the beading was falling off and it is not flattering on any body type. DO NOT WASTE your money on this dress; I spent more than I paid for the dress on alterations and it still didn't fit or look properly. Does not photograph well either. For the money I spent on this dress, I could have went to a bridal shop and bought a designer bridesmaid dress.

The dress is horrible, in terrible conditions, is not satin like it's curtain like. It arrived all crooked and with few sequins almost none. The dress is not as it is shown in the picture. Don't buy this dress, unless you want a gray ugly curtain in your house.

This seller has been contacted by me twice for a return and no answer worse dress ever do not buy this dress the sewing crooked doesn't fit or look like the pic at all design and pattern all wrong they are great when u are buying but after that I can seem to get a reply on this to get my money back its ok doh the $69 will finish it will not last u a life time but surety u will not get another dollar from me pls ppl don't buy this dress!
