This happens to be the only brand of almond oil that I use. NOW Foods is my recommended brand for most carrier oils. Never have I received a rancid batch from this seller and I’m always confident about my purchase. Their oils have a fresh nutty scent to them and I use this particular one on my hair, body but never on my face. I’d recommend jojoba oil for daily facial use instead. I pour 1 to 2 tbsp of almond oil into all my concoctions as a key ingredient. I credit almond oil tremendously for the moisture retention throughout my entire head of hair. #4BHairSecret: For added benefits, I mix almond oil with shea butter and massage it through my tresses every 2-3 days. In caring for my hair, my nails also get nourished in the process. My nails appear to be at their healthiest and strongest since starting this regimen. I recommend this product to all naturals and those who suffer from dry skin.Bonus Tip: Store your carrier oils in the fridge at (41-51 °F or 5-10 °C) for a longer shelf life. This NOW Foods almond oil is a great product. I purchased it to use as a moisturizer around my eyes and also as a carrier oil for my essential oils.Almond oil is known for its ability to reduce puffiness and dark circles around eyes. I apply this every night and have seen positive results. It is odorless and non-irritating to delicate eye skin. It does not clog pores nor break out my skin. As an all-body moisturizer, this product does the trick. It absorbs nicely and leaves my skin feeling silky and luxurious. It also gives my skin a nice healthy glow. As a carrier oil, this product works perfectly. I add this product with my favorite essential oils to a roller bottle and have a perfect delivery method for my essential oils. This is a nice affordable almond oil.

This arrived well packaged and when expected. When I removed it from the box it was sealed nicely and I was excited to try some. I wanted to use to make a few things for myself including beard oil, soap and a shampoo bar. Almpnd oil has been found to help heal, repair and nourish hair, nails and skin.It is labeled as organic and packaged in the United States. Although I found the label design very nice. The pump on the button is a premium unit and dispenses a nice amount and if you need more a few pushes is plenty. This cap doesn't drip or spray, and for dispensing oils this is the type of cap you want to have. You find this cap on other high quality l oil bottles, a comparison if you use other essential oils. The quality is so good that a little goes a long ways.I made my beard oil and that is something I am using right now. I have had a shampoo/body bar recipe that I developed using Argan and oatmeal that I added this Almond Oil too.... Without doubt it turnout out wonderful, and because I used the recipe before, I could tell by the smell that this is a better quality of product than I used before.Purchasing this product again is a no brainer to me, if you get a good product to use and get good results, keep on using it.I will disclose that I am a very honest and unbiased reviewer. This sweet almond oil is wonderful! After I found it I stopped using any of the make-up remover lotions or gels. This oil is irreplaceable when it comes to remove any make-up (mascara and foundation): all you need to do is to wet a cotton pad in warm water and put a few drops of oil on the wet pad, and then you clean your face. Also, it is great to use instead of face or body lotions. I often mix this oil with a little bit of a tanning body lotion - works even better than tanning lotion alone. Also, this oil is great as a hair mask.It's just a great, natural, healthy product to use!

PLEASE INFORM YOURSELF.Okay, so I hesitated buying this because of some of the negative reviews I saw about it being thick, not smelling like almonds or even feeling like cooking oil. So being the paranoid and indecisive person (who also suffers from buyers remorse, so sue me) I am I decided to investigate, and this is what I learned; There are two DIFFERENT types of almond oil, sweet almond oil and bitter almond oil. Bitter almond oil is darker, smells more like almonds, and is considered an essential oil. Sweet almond oil is a fixed oil, which is why it feels well- oily! Sweet almond oil will not smell like almonds, even though it comes from the tree that produces the types of almonds that we eat so ravenously. Also, sweet almond oil is considered an ALL PURPOSE face moisturizer (kind of similar to coconut oil where you can cook with it but also put it in your hair, but it doesn't smell like coconuts-thank goodness). Where as bitter almond oil is not a fixed oil but rather an essential oil (repeating myself for clarity) and it isn't used in any way for skin care! It doesn't even have any aromatherapy benefits! It simply smells good, and therefore it goes into things like almond soaps, lotion bars, and lip balms. People just assume that the darker sweeter smelling almond oil therefore has the benefits that sweet almond oil has.So- for those people questioning themselves buying this and thinking, "I don't want to rub veggie oil on my face! Plus it won't smell like anything!" please, calm down, take a deep breath and buy this. Seriously, do what I say and buy it right now. I use this in my body scrubs all the time, and when I say this I mean this specific brand! It's awesome! Put it on your face, your hair, your feet, your dog (not your dog), your hands, your chicken, everywhere. Because this oil is pure magic, and now that you know the difference between sweet almond oil and bitter almond oil you can now be an informed buyer.P.S.- this where is where I got all my info (or you can just google it yourself. What can I say? Grapeseed is my favorite oil. I use it for my face moisturizer, hair conditioner and my EO carrier oil because it has no taste.

Huuuuge bottle! I use this as a carrier oil for essential oils I put on my skin. I also use a tiny amount as makeup remover. (This or jojoba oil are good for that!!)

I bought this hoping it wouldn't break my skin out after getting a massage and it didn't!!!! FINALLY!!! Now I use it after the shower to soften my skin.

This product and cost...amazing! I use this first on my. body because I have really dry skin and I can use any lotion like the ones in bath and body works ands it infuses with the lotion creating an aroma to die for and hydrates my skin all day long!

Looks good, I haven't used it yet but I plan on using it in many makings of homemade soaps, lotions, bath bombs and lip balm for my Girlfriend.

As an esthetician I am a big fan of oiling the skin at night, which is a great time to saturate and deeply hydrate skin, and I often recommend it to clients. I've always recommended GSO for oilier skin types and I used wheat germ oil for years myself which is a bit thicker, thinking I needed more for my drier skin. But, it always irritated (stung) my eyes a little, but I begrudgingly dealt with it and because of the ceramide content in it. Turns out, GSO has a higher ceramide content, it doesn't sting my eyes and nourishes my skin just as well if not better because it absorbs better (smaller molecule) . I'm totally satisfied with GSO as my single plant oil choice for night oiling.

Have been using this to remove eye-makeup and it works perfectly. Prefer this over using chemical products out there.It will remove waterproof mascara (I use GreatLash) and eyeliner (100% Pure waterproof liquid eyeliner).I typically don't wear a ton of makeup day to day, and if I do, I use an organic mascara by 100% PureBut when going out I tend to use the heavy duty waterproof stuff so I don't look like Alice Cooper towards the end of the night.This oil easily tackles removal of all!

Love love loved it! I put the ORGANIC OIL on my lips when they're chapped and it's like magic they healed so fast. I put it in my hair and my hair loves it. It soaks in really good and promotes hair growth from what I've experienced.I went to the store to try to buy this product but they did not have organic. TRUST... the organic GREEN label does make a difference! The Jojoba pure (white label) is NOT the same.As of right now from using the non organic (white label) my lips are still crusty. I don't even wanna try it in my hair

Great for makeup removal. I wear a lot of long lasting and waterproof makeup. I love this! I usually buy it at Trader Joe's but that bottle always leaks when I travel. This one has a much more functional lid that doesn't leak when I travel. And still a fair price!

This is a great product. I trust the quality of the product so much so that I have used it on my face, in my and my son's hair (mixed with other products) and my husband uses it as his beard oil. A little goes a long way and, depending on your hair/skin type this oil can really do wonders. My skin definitely feels more balanced (in terms of oiliness v. dryness) and my hair has a shine but isn't weighed down (I have 3B/C very dense, fine curls and my son has 3A fine curls). I have also used this as a makeup remover although, I find that's not very cost effective.

This is my first time buying Jojoba oil. I mixed it with rosemary oil and used a spray bottle with my hair. My hair smells soooo good, :) and the new growth is crazy. Found a new staple!!!!

We've ordered this twice now. Once originally for our daughter who battles severe eczema, and the second time I ordered it for myself as a general moisturizer. Our daughter can tolerate this single ingredient product on her skin when most other moisturizers burn. While it didn't eliminate her eczema, it does give her skin needed moisture. She is allergic to tree nuts and sensitive to coconut, which eliminates the highly lauded option of coconut oil. I noticed when applying it to my daughter's skin that it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave much residue. After reading the product label, I began to use it on my own skin - face and body. Even though my skin has been oily most of my life, this provides just the right amount of natural moisture for the day and evening. At less than $13, it is a steal compared to several beauty products on the market.

I have SUPER sensitive skin and whenever I have any reaction , I dab the tiniest bit of castor oil on it and it's instantly soothed. Works better than aloe for me. It's great when added to my body moisturizer, great for regrowing sparse hairline, my lashes are longer, and taking a spoonful is a great, gentle stool softener and mild laxative.

Got it to try and make my hair grow. Not sure if it will work or not but for the price it is good. Used it at full strength the first time and it is so thick it didn't want to come out of my hair. Had to shampoo 3 times and use really hot water. 2nd time I cut it with conditioner and it came out much easier. It helps to warm it up before applying too.

Caster oil works so well for so many things, make up remover, skin moisturizer, oil diffusers, on my hair at once- nice and silky when I was it the next day, and so much more that I haven't even tried yet, like Natural mascara, healthy hair growth- I've only used it on my ends. I always heard castor oil was used for hair growth. And I heard that people used it on their brows and lashes. I was originally using rapidlash which I like a lot as well. So my friend had ordered this brand (not from Amazon) and she gave me some to try since she had so much. It's like 16 ounces. I ordered some myself, but there was a shipping problem and my item didn't get to me. So I started using it July 21, 2016 and I started seeing growth in like 4-5 days. Small hairs, but still growth. And it was quick! So today is August 6, 2016 and can I just tell you I'm LOVE!!! This stuff definitely works. My brows were out of control trip with growth so I had to pluck the hair that were growing from under my brow. I didn't want to, but I couldn't continue to go out like that lol. I wanted to go a full month without touching them, but I failed. I will DEFINITELY be purchasing this oil. I love the results.

This time as suggested by others, I mixed it 50/50 with a lighter oil to make it spreadable - extra virgin olive oil. I'm always searching for a great moisturizer because I live in a relatively dry climate, and my skin suffers. I can use this almond oil about every other shower. It takes a few minutes to soak into my skin, so I can't throw my clothes on straight out of the shower. I do feel like it does a good job of trapping the moisture in my skin though, so it's worth it to deal with a little bit of a greasy feeling for a few minutes! Also, it doesn't really have a scent, which is great for me because I don't tolerate the strong smells of some other lotions and oils.

I tried ordering this on a whim with the idea that I would mix it with a moisturizing lotion for my super dry winter skin. After mixing a 1/2 teaspoon with some Hempz lotion I used this after showering and found that my skin was still moisturized after a full two days. That has never happened so I think I found my winter skin go-to.

I love this product. I originally bought it to make soap with, but ended up putting that hobby on the back burner. I've instead been using it as a cleansing oil, moisturizer, and hair treatment. It's great for treating dry skin and hair, but the product doesn't seem to soak in well - for that reason, I've switched to argan oil for moisturizing and hair treatment, as it doesn't seem to grease up my hair or face for a long time. I still use almond oil for oil cleansing and getting rid of makeup.I removed a star due to the bottle, rather than the product itself...there seems to be a leak somewhere in the cap, and something black (I'm assuming mold) has started growing in one of the crevices of the bottle top. There's no such moldiness in the bottle itself, where most of the oil is, so I'm not sure what has caused this. I'll be replacing my bottle, but it has made me consider buying in smaller quantities or decanting into a different bottle.

I ordered this because I wanted something to help with dark circles and puffiness under my eyes and let me say it does work pretty well.Pros-Osborne pretty quickly into skin just be mindful its oil and you do not need a lot.I put one drop on my finger and rub it under both eyesI use 2 drops for my hands mixed with my regular Olay lotionI've never used almond oil so I was unsure what to expect. I purchased this oil as my 'carrier' oil for lavendar and peppermint oils that I use for my natural hair treatment. I purchased this small size because I had not used almond oil before....I usually used coconut oil but I like my almond oil concoction better so far. When I am done with this bottle, I will probably purchase the larger size as that offers a better bargin.

I did some research into the latest "coconut oil as body care" craze and found that coconut oil can actually cause breakouts for people with certain types of skin. Being more on the "problem skin" side, I looked for alternatives for coconut oil as a makeup remover and found that almond oil is considered "grade 1", meaning it is one of the oils least likely to clog your pores. I decided to order this one from Amazon because it's certainly the cheapest price for the large bottle. Works great as a makeup remover, feels a little heavy but that is easily remedied by using your regular face wash afterwards. I did not notice any unusual breakouts since I started using this product but after several months of use it seems to have developed something strange that looks like mold in the cap. I do keep my bottle in the shower, so I'm guessing that's how it formed. I plan to try running the cap through the dishwasher to see if that solves the discoloration, and will update when I find out.

This jojoba oil from NOW is pretty good, reliable, and moisturizing for your skin. Jojoba is one of those oils that should be in every DIYer's toolbox, and especially after my last few orders that were moldy from another company, this is a welcome relief.

I used this as one of my ingredients for homemade whipped shea butter lotion and it seems to work great! Didn't irritate my daughter's sensitive skin and the lotion helped heal a lot of trouble spots.

nice oil i combine it with peppermint oil as my base and it works well to mousturize my facial hair.

I added several drops each of lavender, geranium, and frankincense oils to the bottle of jojoba. I rubbed it on my prenatal belly and breasts, as well as my face and neck at night. After reading about Linda Rodin's face oils, I thought: "I can do that! I don't need something that fancy!" This jojoba felt pleasant on my skin, absorbed nicely, and didn't leave residue on my pillow. I'm still using it postpartum.

Bought this to complement a retinol treatment I'm also using to combat sebaceous hyperplasia - aka overactive oil glands. Does the job with providing some much-needed moisture to my face (retinol dries you out big time!!) and just a few drops is all you need. Doesn't leave greasiness the way I've found with apricot, avocado, or coconut oils.

The jojoba oil is just fine. The bottle cap is a poor design. The oil always drips down the bottle when you are finished and try to close the cap.

Makes my rather thin hair feel very full and soft after I use it. I heat up very warm water and then submerge a measuring cup full of the oil into the hot water and disburse over my hair and leave it on for about 6 hours in a shower cap then I rinse.

Works really well, the only thing I dislike is the smell but it works as a great moisturizer for skin and hair. However I wouldn't recommend leaving this in your hair unless you plan on staying inside because of the smell. My mother was reluctant to use it but now she applies it to her wrinkles and scars before her showers and now a month later the bottle is almost finished

Very good deal for the amount you get. The formula is thick and worked very well when I mixed it with vitamin e oil & argan oil as a lash/brow serum. I also mix it with coconut oil + a few drops of vitamin e & argan oil as a hair treatment. Only giving it four stars because I've since found out cold pressed, hexane free formulations are a better option since they are more natural & pure. Main pro with this product is the affordability

i am trying to grow out my eyebrows but haven't been keeping up with it as a daily routine.I did mix it with my coconut oil to make a moisturizer and it is perfect with it. It keeps the coconut oil from hardening and it feels great.

I bought this because several online forums and health sites said that castor oil opens pores of hair follicles and allows hair regrowth. I created a eyelash regrowth serum/oil (more oil then serum) with other ingredients that I bought here on Amazon and disposable mascara wands and a container that would allow the wand in and also remove the excess before I apply to my eyelashes at night. I also applied to my eye brows using the same wand after my lashes and noticed regrowth in both places.This castor oil from NOW is great. So far I have only used a tiny portion of this pretty big bottle. The only down side is the bottle does leak the tiniest bit.

Started using this on my eyebrows and lashes every other night. My brows are growing back twice as fast now and I feel like my lashes are finally growing in thick. Worth it :)

I purchased this product for $10.85 and ended up returning it. Other reviewers have mentioned that this product isn't oily. I found this product to interfere with my face. I would not recommend this as a skin lotion substitute. My girlfriend uses it to moisturize her very scaly elbows. This extra strength almond oil seems to do the trick.

This oil made my skin really soft, and I love that it doesn't have a scent. It's great for layering under lotions that smell great but aren't very moisturizing. However, every review kept saying it absorbed quickly and easily. That was what drew me in because I am a hardcore coconut oil fan, but coconut oil doesn't absorb that quickly. So upon hearing that almond oil is some miracle oil that absorbs in seconds, ( one review even said that a few drops would absorb into your hand in just a few seconds), I jumped on this and bought it. Let me tell you, it doesn't absorb in at all. Its not a heavy oil, so this isn't a huge problem. I just am a little peeved that its not at all what the reviews said. I put some oil on my skin (shoulders, arms, etc.) about two hours ago, and continued my bedtime routine. I am just getting into bed now and my skin is still covered in the oil. It did not soak in AT ALL. Its been two hours. Even dollar store lotion would have soaked in by now. My recommendation is just to apply the oil, massage it in the best you can, then wipe it off with a damp cloth. Even a dry towel leaves a majority of it on the skin. I did this, and my skin was still very soft afterwards. I will definitely keep using it, its a great oil. Just not what the reviews described.

I got this oil for my skin and it's .. well... pretty oily. It seems to help with moisturizing my skin although it doesn't help at all with healing already dry skin or excema. It takes around 30 min to absorb so I'm thinking of using it more as a massage oil. It's not good for day use where I need something that will moisturize but absorb quickly.

Very, very light almond scent. I wish it was a little bit stronger. The viscosity of the oil is on the thicker side. I don't feel that it is very hydrating or notice any difference when applied to my dry skin patches, but it works fine as a carrier oil.

Review marked down as the metal cap was insecure resulting in leakage through the padded envelope, as noted by other reviewers. The actual oil seemed ok although my legs felt a bit dry and itchy with the recent cold snap in NYC. Interestingly the avocado oil from the same company but purchased from another buyer did not leak.

I have very dry skin that had been acting up something awful during this harsh midwestern winter. I decided to give this a try. Maybe I'm not an "oil is all I need" person. I like to use it as a first layer out of the shower, and then apply lotion afterwards for that really moisturized feeling. However, I find that I smell like I came out of a greasy kitchen after I use it. Maybe I am just a little sensitive to it, but it's definitely noticeable to me. However, it works really well to moisturize, so I'm still happy with the product, but I have to use it with a layer of scented lotion afterwards.Update: The cooking oil smell is getting worse, and I wonder if this means that the oil is going rancid?? If so, it was a waste of money because the huge bottle is nowhere near done. Might have to stop using this stuff...

Kind of smells funny... Since I bought it to be a carrier oil for my essential oils to be a body oil, I was a bit disappointed.

Grape seed oil is not my favorite. This is as good as any other, I'm sure, but apricot kernel oil,is much lighter and smoother. I was buying to use on my skin after shower, but didn't use half the bottle and ended up buying apricot kernel oil instead.

I brought this oil and the almond oil together. I brought them both to use as face moisturizers but I like the almond oil better. This oil is kind of runny and it also starts to smell rank after having it for a while. So I suggest buying the smaller bottle if you are not going to use it up right away. I will order again.

This is my first time using this particular brand of Jojoba Oil. (I normally use Desert Essence Organic Jojoba Oil.) I decided to try this out because of the lower price, in comparison, and because I do enjoy other products made by this company. Jojoba Oil is the only product I use in my hair, and also the only oil I use to remove my eye makeup. It is comparable in scent & viscosity, and it removes my eye makeup just as easily. However, it does not do as good of a job with moisturizing & de-frizzing my naturally wavy hair. I find that it takes double or triple the amount to moisturize, and even with a healthy dollop of this oil, my hair is still left looking very frizzy. It is not a good look. I will use up the remainder of the product, but it is unlikely that I will repurchase.

The product is great....great value but packaging was bad and leaked in the box. Thankfully the pillow cases I ordered where in plastic packaging!

This is the first time that I have purchased this kind of oil and so I can't really reflect on the brand or really compare, but in just my experience with it. It is a nice thin oil. I use small dabs of it on the ends of hair, where it is dry and damaged, after a shower. I also use it as a carrier oil for my essential oils. It seems alright. My only complaint of it so far is that when I have used it on my face, even in very little amounts, I believe it blocks my pores and causes me to break out. That may be just for the fact that it is an oil period and putting oil on your face may do that period no matter what. I will try to update once I have tried over oils and brands and know better.

I got this based on a recommendation from my sister, who struggled with acne for over 10 years and now has clear skin, because of replacing her face wash/creams/everything with this. I still do not see a difference in the acne, but my skin is more balanced (not too oily and not too dry). I will keep using it to see how my face improves for the next month or so and then edit my review. In the meantime, I have used it for my hair and it is AWESOME!

Everything I read about my problematic skin indicated I should use this oil. I am "lucky" enough to have cystic acne and am now aging in to fine lines, and increased visibility of acne scarring. So, I do have issues but I am not sure if this oil is helping. My skin does absorb it well and has virtually no scent.

It's too sticky! I'm sure this has nothing to do with how well the product works or not, but to be honest I can't leave this on my hair through an entire night. Imagine honey but way stickier.

I don't see any hair growth but it does make my hair very shiny!

Using this topically on my scalp to help stimulate hair growth and improve the health of my existing hair. I have been using it for several weeks, along with vitamins, but my hair loss has continued and gotten worse. However, on the positive, my hair has gotten more silky and tangles much less with regular applications a couple times a week. I cannot say whether or not it could or couldn't help the average person regrow or strengthen their hair because I have hormonal and endocrine issues that I'm sure are the issue here and no amount of oil could have fixed it. Will continue using it just in case and keep enjoying the silky, tangle-free hairs that I have. :)

It's probably fine as a products but I'm pretty sure I have an allergy. As soon as I started using this product my feet and hands started developing painful cracks. As soon as I stopped using it everything healed up.

I bought this to try to get my eyebrows to grow in better in the sparse areas. Eh. I used it consistently, applied by either a q-tip or my finger, every night for 2 months. I didn't notice much, if any, difference. I've since stopped using it religiously and I have a ton of oil left over!

I was told to use this like lotion for my hands. Hands get stiff with the moisture in the air. Didn't notice a difference, and this is very oily. Don't plan to touch anything. No odor. Shipped on time and didn't leak.

I love this oil but this company needs to make better covers. This oil spills right out from in btw where the top and bottle are closed together so tightly when you squeeze oil out ..this is so frustrating to me. This company best to make better more secured top dispensers for these oils..for this I will never buy from this company.... who wants spilled oil everywhere, every time you squeeze out oil to use on your body..

bought this because of the good reviews and bnefits of it...and you can use it for almost evrything from your hair, face, body etc.. However, it did not work for me....it made my skin very dry and broke me out...i now have a lots of pimples all over my face..i dont know why...might be it made my skin very dry?...But when you applied this on your skin it looks very moisturize especially when you put it on face you will love how it looks as you wAke in the morning but when you wash it off i noticed severe dryness on my skin even to my hands. I tried it several times but its still the same. I even ask my husband to use it telling him its good and it can moisturize his skin...i thought its only me who has this kind of issue. His skin becomes very dry too after washing it off. I stopped using it to see the differnce the dryness subsides but am still suffering big pimples all over my face right now. Not for me i guess.

I tried this oil as a standalone for hair growth. I did not have much luck. I read that it is a good carrier oil and may work well mix with other oils. I have not tried to mix it. It can also be used to remove dark rings around the eyes.

Be cautious, this is an EXPELLER PRESSED oil...meaning they used heat to extract the oil. Also meaning, all the benefits that sweet almond oil has for the skin won't be present because the nutrients and natural properties have basically been cooked out. If you're using this for skin care look for cold pressed oils. This applies to all oils. You want to look for key words like RAW, VIRGIN, UNREFINED (NON-FILTERED), COLD PRESSED, and of course, if it applies (or if you care), ORGANIC. Of course it's still an oil so it should make your skin feel softer and moisturizer but you can do that with any oil. But the oils work better when as natural as possible.

I bought this after watching Sheriza (I believe) on youtube. Sheriza, talked about using this and cold pressed castor oil on your hair after it is warmed as an hot oil treatment. You are supposed to leave it on your hair for at least an hour or so or overnght and wash it out. It may have been my fault because I used this as a leave in and it may my hair shed lke crazy. So I recommend you wash it out or you might be bald. I dont use it now at all.

I do not know if it's THIS brand, or just the oil? But I see it doing nothing of what it is known for. I have many NOW brand oil, Glycerin, Castor oil, Apricot seed Oil, etc. I had the same high expectations for this one. It's greasy, it doesn't seem to help hair, skin or much of anything. I think I will try a different brand before I give up on this oil. Some oils need special processing, & cheaper brands, though we love them, do not go the extra steps needed. Sometimes one is the same as another , others , you get what you pay for. This did nothing for "me", I will try another brand though. I do like NOW's other other oils.Thanks you,Jenny Reedy

Not the highest of quality. I buy a lot of Now essential oils and bought this grape seed oil because I thought it would be of high quality. Well, it isn't. Grape seed oil should not be refined and this is. It is yellow in color when it should be a bright green. Lesson learned. I will not buy this again. It is also food grade, it it came to me with no protection from the heat. The box came and it was "hot" from the journey when it should have been protected from the elements so that it would not spoil.

The plastic cap is really thin and cheap. It arrived broken and could not be used. But the paper seal under the cap was tight to prevent spilling. So I poured the contents into an empty water bottle. I don't know yet how well the product works,

I've never had grape seed oil before, is it supposed to smell rancid? This product was gross, I threw it away.

This very quickly got a rancid scent so I only used about a 10th of the bottle. Maybe a smaller bottle next time. I did like using it on my hair and it left it in good condition. Very disappointing at how quickly it seemed to spoil.

I would like this better if it didn't smell like older oil. I don't know if that is how its supposed smell? That is my only caution.

I've heard so many good things about grape seed oil so I decided to try this. It gave me weird little dry patches on my body :(. NOW makes a sweet almond oil that is great!

When I first started using it for my skin, it made it so much softer and a few of my pimples went away. As I started to use it more, it gave me a ton of whiteheads. Also, the oil always got stuck in the crevices of the lid and a lot of dust got into it. It's very drippy and hard to pour out a small amount without it getting everywhere.

Bottle cap leaks. This is the third one I've tried. All of them leak. The oil is great but they need better designed bottles

I use this product for my curly hair because it the closet thing that matches to our hairs original oil sebum and it works very very well to control frizz and give shine also good for your hair. The reason i wouldn't purchase this again because the odor is unbearable smells like a wet dog mixed with chestnuts or something but it smells awful! The odor still remains in your hair even throughout the day not as strong but still there i would recommend Desert Essence 100% pure jojoba oil this one smells like nothing!!!

I bought this to oil my beard. I had used a jojoba blend before with great results. This was much cheaper though. The q/a section suggested the sent was minimal to pleasant. I couldn't disagree more. I'm sure there's no problem for a lot of uses, but if you're putting it on your face, it smells unpleasant (not terrible mind you).Still effective at softening my beard (hence two stars, not one). When this bottle is done, I'll stop using the cheap stuff.

I like the actual product but (at least my) packaging is defective. It barely drips out of the opening no matter how hard I squeeze. I have to take the top off to get a proper amount out. And doing that it's difficult to not get too much and waste product.Also when I do try to use the top it gets all in the random open spaces within the top. There's a space beneath the opening that a small amount of product just sits in. I had a different oil from this same company and this same thing happened and some bacteria grew inside of it. So I had to consider it contaminated since this is going on my face. It's really frustrating. I'm not sure I'll buy from them again.

I bought this because it was a good price. I have used jojoba oil in the past and it didn't have a weird smell like this one.

This is way thicker than others that I have bought for around the same price and it's hard to work with and wash out of you hair. I use it on my hair, lashes and brows and it doesn't seem to be working as well and I've noticed a decrease in the growth. The thickness of my lashes has decreased a lot since I started this product and stopped using my old brand, so I am gonna switch back. The only Thing I would recommend it for is a moisturizer if you use some other kind of oil or cream to cut the thickness of this oil.

I researched for a good grade product and was told this one was, even the label from the picture did not say external use only but this one arrive and it says external use only. I already had one that was external use only.

I purchased this item for my eyebrows and I did not see a difference. My eyebrows are basically nonexistent. I never pluck or wax my eyebrows so I have no idea why they are gone so I thought I would give this a try but it did not work on me. It could just be me.

I can't say I love the smell of this. I used this in a diffuser once...I think it's still putting off cinnamon smells a month later...and it's not a pretty one. I was hoping to create a christmas smell in the house. It was not pleasant. Perhaps it works better as a food product. I have purchased several other oils from NOW Foods and they've all been great. This one just wasn't.

This is my 1st time writing a negative review; however, this product deserves it. The cap was cracked upon receipt & because of the nature of the product, it has created a leaky, sticky mess everywhere. Just received the product last week & already can't wait for it to be finished. Will never purchase again.

I have tried messaging this product under the eyes every evening for two weeks now. NO IMPROVEMENT. I know the recommendation is to see the doctor if there is no improvement. I have. There a many reasons darkness under the eyes occurs. The most likely culprits are stress and inconsistent quality sleep. Still, I was hoping for at least some improvement.

I love NOW products but this one seem to cause my skin to react bad. Bumpy bad. I know almond oil is good at cleaning pores but my skin didn't like this one. Maybe I'll try another brand.

This was my first purchase of Sweet Almond Oil so I didn't know what it should smell like. My bottle smelled rank, that's the only way to describe it. I tried using a small amount in my body wash, but even lavender essential oil couldn't mask the smell. I won't buy this brand again. I just purchased a new bottle of a different brand and lo and behold, there is no smell. I'll use this one from now on. I have other products of the NOW brand and they are good, but this oil was awful.

Bought this along with the jojoba and avocado oil and all smell the same. Like vegetable oil! In the description you talk about 100% oils without saying that YOURS is 100%. I feel like I've been hoodwinked.

This product smelled old and rancid. I would not recommend it to anyone. I was very disappointed. You lost a customer.

Next time I'll stick with what I know instead of reading the reviews. This so far has done nothing for me I was better off ordering almond almond like I usually do. Waste of money good thing it didn't cost $20.

this oil is a good quality and i love using it as a moisturizer for my cuticles, lips, skin and eyelashes.however, this bottle is TERRIBLE. the design is not optimal for pouring out the oil and it always drips down the bottle. it is Constantly covered in oil and it makes such a mess. forget traveling with this bottle because all your belongings will be coated in jojoba oil.the quality of the oil is good, but this bottle is just such a hassle. i would recommend a pen applicator or a dropper if you can find one.

The oil is great. The bottle is the problem. I recently went on a trip and had to pack this bottle with a few other bottles in a "ziplock" bag which I then put in my luggage. As long as this bottle is left standing on a counter or in a medicine cabinet or on a shelf waiting to be used the oil will stay in the bottle until you click the top to get it out. Otherwise COUNT on the fact that it will ALL leak out of the terrible top, coat all your other bottles in your ziplock bag and wind up in a dirty puddle at the bottom of the bag. THIS SH*T IS EXPENSIVE and MOST OF MINE WOUND UP IN A PUDDLE IN A ZIPLOCK BAG BECAUSE THE PACKAGING IS SO TERRIBLE. FIND ANOTHER WAY TO ACQUIRE THIS OTHERWISE QUALITY PRODUCT.

Smells like FOOD. Gross!

Poor value, expensive for a small bottle which cannot be justified because it is not superior to other body oils. And, to make matters worse, it stains grout and clothing.

I've used jojoba oil before and this didn't smell like the real thing. The seal was slightly open when I received it and the oil smelled awful.

I would love to say this stuff works amazingly but sadly I used it a handful of times and all it has done is made my hair fall out at a tremendous rate. I haven't used it in almost 2 weeks and my hair is still falling out. Definitely not what I expected with this by any means.

This oil smells so terribly bad that I had to leave my house and open all my windows and doors to let this rotting smell out. Do not buy this scent!!!! it is literally the most disgusting oil I have ever smelled.

Has a horrible smell. I bought it mainly for use on my eyelashes and hair. I can't even stand to use it because it stinks so badly...I bought little mascara wands and tubes for applying it and have now wasted them because they are contaminated with the smell. Very disappointed.
