Fashion with a purposeMarch 24, 2017 What first catched my attention was the blue bead, and since I was looking for something original I decided to look further, and to my surprise this not only looked good but do good. A really great valuable idea behind it's design: to make a donation to make pure water available to communities that lack from that vital resource. The bracelet it's really well made, the black beads have a matte finish that makes the blue really standout, and at least on mine has a nice effect like if it was fullfilled with water. And since they are stones there's no problem to get your wrist colored like with the ones made from wood. But the real great thing is that in some way you are making a difference . Nice braceletFebruary 20, 2017 Perfect fit and seems fairly durable. This thing does tend to snag arm hair pretty frequently, but I figure if I wear it long enough, that won't be a problem any more ;) The only other issue I ran into is that the "cat eye" bead is the same size as all of the others. That might be a good thing to a lot of folks, which is why I'm not deducting a star for it. For me, though, I was hoping it would be bigger or have a different texture than the other beads, so I could use this as a mala bracelet and be able to feel the blue bead as the 'guru bead' for counting purposes. Not a big deal. I might add my own spacers or something on either side of it to let it work like that. Still a nice looking bracelet, though. Don't give water for grantedApril 13, 2016 This is an amazing bracelet for a great cause. I always thought how easy is for us to get water any time we want and how hard it is in other places. People has to walk a lot every day to get water that can be contaminated. I remember when children in Chile we had a vacation house in a small coastal town. There was water but it was not safe to drink so we had to drive every few days, in a car, to fill some big tanks. Then water has to be boiled before using it to cook or drink. That was a very small hassle for many people are suffering in the world.The bracelet also looks cool and is well made :) |

The only changes I would make would be to add one more of the blue cat's eye beads across from the other, because the bracelet rotates and you won't always see the blue. It seemed like it was going to break at any moment. Unfortunately that happen to my son's bracelet. It broke while he was at school. Luckily he got all the beads and i was able to just replace the string and now he is able to wear it again. They do say that i could of contacted them if anything was to happen to it. but just because the string broke i did not feel like it was a big deal. Easy to fix. Other than that it came quickly and looks AMAZING!. |
