I really like the copper wire verses the white or green coated plastic wire you get with a typical string of lights. I ordered two sets of warm white copper string lights, one from Inno Lightinc and the other from Tao Tronics. I ordered six sets and used three on Christmas wreaths. One string decorates one wreath perfectly! November 20, 2016 OMG!!! I cannot say enough great things about these lights. I love the copper wire. It's very flexible, can be stretched, curled, wrapped, & these lights can be used for just about anything. There is a 6 hour timer & 9 different light settings. I bought them to wrap around a centerpiece for my dining room table. The little box that the batteries go in that has the settings, can be hidden very well since it's so small. Four Star Reviews: | 9% Kind of pretty bright, actually April 30, 2017 Kind of pretty bright, actually. Meant to serve as sort of a nightlight in the bedroom... Wrapped it fully around the inside of a window and the light it produces is more than the stand-up lamp!May need to just do one of the 4 window edges.But, good quality. Works fine, and I can even wrap it around a couple nails and see no sign that that may break the wire, although, and this is my one concern, it LOOKS like it may be cheeky made. The seemingly bare copper wire on either side of each lamp looks dangerous, but I guess it's can. Nice warm amber-white glow.No switch, it's plug in or out. Will be happy to rate March 27, 2017 To early for me to rate as I have not installed them yet but, when I see them "in hand" I find the lights to be tiny and not sure if they will show well in my application above kitchen cabinets. Thus my three star for bulb size. LED bulbs come in many size as one knows so don't use my review to decide.check back in about a month. Will be happy to rate then.UPDATE. Happy with this purchase January 21, 2016 Happy with this purchase! Wanted string lights for my bedroom, and this was the perfect length. Just a warning that it is brighter than is pictured. The lighting in the product picture looks warmer and more muted, whereas the actual color is MUCH brighter and more white (as you can see in the picture the lights above my bed; this photo is accurate to the color). It's bright enough where I can actually read under it! I personally don't mind it, simply because I love the overall look, but if someone's looking for the warmer light, this may not be the right color for you.. I gave 4 stars because the overall product is great, but the product picture could be more accurate to the true color. Also the packaging needs some sort of seal. Mine arrived open inside the box with the contents spilled out. Battery case got too hot, tangles easily December 10, 2015 These did not work for me as the battery got warm after two hours. I felt it wasn't safe and threw them away. Maybe my set was defective, not sure.Amended: Good customer service as they sent me a new one after I posted a negative review. I should amend it: this plugs into the wall, it's not battery operated. The plug-in battery does get warm, but as my husband pointed out, any battery does with time. So I guess it's good. I did buy a different one for the son's basement room with a plastic battery case just for safely. Works as expected, good color. May 9, 2015 Works as expected. More white than yellow light wise. Three Star Reviews: | 3% Way overrated for house lighting April 23, 2017 These things look really corny, there is no character to them, and they are white rather than yellow.Just a bunch of evenly spaced white dots that hurt your eyes unless behind somethingThe wire is relatively annoying to work with because everything bounces around, as opposed to being static they January 9, 2017 The Tao Tronics LED String Lights are very nice and look great just what I was looking for however when I read the info that came with them it states that they should not be on when you are not there (unattended) or Turned ON Permanently! That is why I purchased this type of lighting so as not to have to turn them ON and OFF so much for that. I do not remember any of this info in the description when I purchased them. I have regular small Christmas light 20 t0 30 cool lights that have been on for over 3 years for decoration with a green vine. I do not understand why they say do not leave on? if it was not for that I would give them 5 stars. Picture doesn't represent true color June 12, 2016 These seem nicely made and work well but they are not as yellow as the photo suggests. They arent LED blue, but they aren't incandescent yellow either. The warm white description is accurate but they are quite a bit whiter than the pic Didn't last long May 27, 2016 **update**I originally wrote a poor review for this product because it stopped working after a short time.The company read my review and contacted me prompty & offered to rectify the issue by replacing the product. I have added 2 stars because of their excellent service and will add more if this second set of lights lasts longer than the previous one.***This product stopped working 3 1/2 months after purchase.Initially these lights worked well and were beautiful but I went to plug them in recently and they had stopped working completely. I barely got to enjoy 'em! Defective product January 23, 2016 Bought three sets of the LED Starry String Lights October 15th, 2015. Two sets are still going strong and I love the easy handling, set up and the warm light they give off. I put them on my very large wrap around deck to replace the LED tube lighting. Perfect for anytime of year. Unfortunately, one set only lasted a couple of months and went out. Taotronics says in their packaging brochure there is a one year guarantee but unfortunately, I tried to return and there are no returns on this item as of November 14th 2015. So, check with Amazon prior to purchase. Not as warm color as I had hoped. November 6, 2015 Shipped fast, nicely packaged in a protective reusable tube. The lights themselves are not nearly as warm as I would have wanted. Not blue white for sure, maybe I hope for too much from LEDs. The wire is nice because it isn't ugly so you don't have to hide it. Expensive, so I hope they last as long as promised. I like that they don't get hot for sure. Overall they are good if you don't mind the lack or warmness in color. First time I purchased them- I got them from a different seller (from China I believe). They of course took much longer to arrive and did NOT have the nice reusable tube and were squashed up. Wish they connected with each other November 7, 2016 These are great lights. I only have one negative about them. You cannot connect them together as you can with other string lights. So, for our use (backyard party lighting) we had to have several extension cords on the ground so we could get them all plugged in. I probably would not have bought them if I had known that they don't connect with each other. Two Star Reviews: | 2% disapointing January 23, 2017 these are plugged in the images show 1 with a plug and one with out in a clear vese. then retruning them cost more then the item did so i would have to pay to return them with no refund... i gave it away Good idea, unpredictable execution. December 15, 2016 I LOVE the size and ease of use of these lights. They're perfect to decorate the little things around the house, are delicate and fun.However, two strings arrived already "on" in the box and so were short on juice already and very dim.Another, 3rd, light that was fully bright at first has already completely died - have used it for less than 10 days.So at the end of the day I have three out of six working lights in less than ten days. Not so "Warm" May 16, 2016 listed as warm white and while 3000 kelvin may fall into that technically, it is not the "warm " most people and lighting designers of 2700k Or like the picture or description so it is not a soft warm glow, it may actually be closer to 3500k, very bright white , great for lighting areas that need that like a parking lot, but nor a cozy nook in your den,additionally the power supply cannot be dimmed, my bad on not verifying that before I ordered 4 sets. Dimming may soften I cant seem to find a 4.5 volt dimmable power supply. Too much hassle to return will keep them for lighting my next landing strip airport project.. Nice at first but do not move them once in place. Overly delicate March 21, 2016 these were great until I moved them from one location to another. One of the wires broke from the solder before it goes into the black wire for the plug itself and there is no way to fix it. Tried re-soldering and it did not work. Seems they should be able to be fixed but they do not work anymore. This is my 2nd set of these lights and the first set had the same issue. really wanted to give it five stars but.... November 12, 2015 I really wanted to give this product a five star rating since they are so beautiful and easy, but unfortunately I have experienced some technical issues with one of the lights that I purchased. They have the be "plugged in a certain way" in order for them to work, otherwise they either don't turn on or flicker like crazy (which scares the living daylights out of my dog - not to mention that it is frustrating). But when these are actually on and working, these lights are seriously beautiful.Update: One of the sets of lights I had purchased completely stopped working after a few months - had to go in the trash. Very disappointing Beautiful but short-lived September 3, 2014 Excited to use these, took them out of the box when they first arrived to test them out and the worked beautifully! However a week or two later when I was putting them up in my dorm room they no longer worked. It's such a shame because when I tested them they were perfect. | 3% Disappointed. One Star Reviews: | 5% Good for one use only :( April 28, 2017 Lighted up once for an event. I really liked the brightness and the length of the light so I purchased another set. Two months later, I brought out both lights for an event. I tried to plug both lights in and the original one I purchased started flashing on and off and then it eventually faded out and died within an hour. I lost my faith in this product and will look for something outside of the Tao Tronics brand. The length and light hue of this product is great. I took my time wrapping it around the letters above my bed (seen in photo) and then attached the letters to the wall. I slightly moved one of the letters and the lights flicked off and won't come back on. I don't know if it's because it is copper on metal so the product won't work or if it's defunct product. Super bummed because I'm going to have to cut the lights off the letters and not sure I can replace now that they are attached to the wall. Cheaply, unsafely made August 18, 2016 This was a horrible purchase. It's a flimsy piece of copper wire with little TINY LED bulbs hot-glued to it. It isn't made well and actually wouldn't light up when I plugged it in. You can't hang anything on it, have it touching anything or near heat. It's honestly a safety issue for me. Please don't waste your money on this crap. extremely disappointed, it broke after 2 times of use. February 1, 2016 im extremely disappointed. I have purchased this long time ago, and just recently had time to put them on. It was so nice and lightening my room so much. Compare to the price if you get it from like a urban outfitters, this one is a great deal. However, it just broke after 2 times of use. Now its just a piece of trash lay in my room.
