Five Star Reviews: | 94% LOVE LOVE ❤️ April 18, 2017 It's a nice sized notebook and I'm always writing--plus it has pockets in the front to slip the papers you need in..I wish they had one with more pages...it wouldn't matter the cost, I'd be the first one to purchase!! Cute Well Made Notebook July 1, 2016 Nice cute notebook. Well made and shipped/packaged well. Sturdy front and back cover. It is a little larger than standard 8.5"x11" size, and is not ideal if you intend to carry it with you. The inside first page is a pocket card page so that you can store a few sheets of paper in the front if needed. Overall a nice, well made notebook. Regular wide spacing between the lines (not college rule). I love anything Lilly! Beautiful pattern.. quality notebook March 16, 2016 Love this product. Arrived quickly. The pages are of spacious size and even has room to write titles on each page. The pages on the inside are pink! Makes a Great Journal February 19, 2016 My tween daughter requested a journal, but didn't want a small one. I was a little hesitant to pay so much for what I worried was just a notebook with a fancy cover, but she really wanted it. When it arrived, I was very happy with it. It is better quality than a regular spiral bound notebook. The cover is cardboard, but is pretty sturdy and very pretty. The pages are thicker and are more similar to journal quality than loose-leaf type paper. It also has a little folder pocket in the front for extra storage. My older daughter now want me to order one for her. I got one of these for my 93 year old ... October 5, 2015 I got one of these for my 93 year old mother who has kept a diary for many years. She loves it, and says it will take her about a year to fill it up. Five Stars August 31, 2015 I love it! It's the perfect size and it's really cute. The inside pages have pretty detailing too. | 48% an honest review March 31, 2016 this laptop is amazing for business uses and shopping only. i didn't mind the scratches on the surface because some of them aren't noticeable. the battery doesn't last long, so i upgraded it myself with a 9 hour cell battery. you can't use this for gaming because low resolution (32 bit), need to upgrade to windows 7 and low video card. definitely you should buy this if you're using this for business otherwise look else where. This product exceeded my expectations. August 27, 2015 Love my laptop!! I received it in estimated time frame. It's in new condition and it works great! I will be ordering a second one very soon. Also, I will surprise my close friend with one as well, because the prices are so reasonable. I am so glad I chose this seller. Try this seller, you are guranteed to love your purchase. Wonderful laptop at a very fair price! Easy to upgrade! January 15, 2015 Refurbished, but look almost like new. These are the best laptops besides the Lenova ThinkPad T400 with the best operating system Windows XP. I upgraded my internal HDD to a 250GB SSD. Upgraded my RAM to 4GB. Fast as lightning laptop! I use mine mainly for entertainment to play screensavers, videos, N64 ROMS, Super NES ROMS, Sega Gen ROMS, NES ROMS, GBA ROMS, Atari 2600 ROMS and PC games. This laptop also has 4 USB ports which can be used hook up PC control pads. Works great with my 55 inch Sanyo LCD TV. When I turn on my Marine Aquarium 3 screensaver people go "WOW!" For my purposes it works great! December 11, 2013 (If I have a problem I will update this review at that time, but suspect I will not.) All I wanted is something to use offline, a graphics art program. I do not want to be online with this laptop - I use a desktop for that - because I don't want to worry about viruses or hackers etc. messing with my art projects. Therefore I can't comment on how it works online. The program, Painter X (X stands for 10, not X rated!), works just as fast and well as it does on my brand new Dell laptop. Ditto Windows XP. I don't know about the battery since I plan to pretty much leave it in the same spot and keep it plugged in. Everything looks virtually new. Also, the person at Incomputer was very swift to answer my little Qs and help me out regarding a problem with the Painter (easily resolved since he knew what to do) Program. Thanks Incomputer! Awsome Little Laptop May 8, 2013 Really nice laptop and packaged really well (had fun for the next week with all the bubble wrap) qudos to the seller. It is really great at keeping up with me when I have 6 internet tabs and LibreOffice open with music in the backround without freezing. Truthfully, I don't much care for the fact that it doesn't have external speakers (though that just gives me an excuse to use my panda speakers), and, becasue I'm waiting for my disc to come for Microsoft, is the word document it comes with, LibreOffice, becasue it doesn't like to read Microsoft Office documents and I have to email the document to myself to open it on MO on another computer, can't use a flashdrive. Long story short, great laptop, use with headphones/speakers for music, and get Microsoft Office when you get the computer. |
Four Star Reviews: | 2% Paper weight could be thicker, especially for the price of this journal. August 19, 2017 Beautiful notebook but I wish that the paper weight was thicker so that a fine line pen would not bleed through to the other side of the page. I recommend using a regular ink pen when writing in this journal. I prefer the large size (8-1/2 x 11 ) lined paper Piccadilly journals but they are now hard to find and not available on Amazon.com. | 19% Very good product, a deal for the price March 26, 2017 It was a little tricky getting them to connect to my WiFi because they had been connected a different way through a more advanced secure connection by the previous owner, however, the seller responded right away offering assistance. I had already figured it out. If you run into this problem run the connection through Windows not Intel. Old model but works better most new ones I'm using it to get my ... October 25, 2016 Old model but works better most new ones I'm using it to get my music off to a kick start and so far it has not let me down only thing about it is that it doesn't pick up wifi well but other than the that it's pretty good reliable and inexpensive laptop for light use June 17, 2015 My older laptop was dying and I was looking to get a new one. Intel's next generation CPU Skylake is just around the corner as well as DDR4 memory. With technology, there is always something better around the corner, but these 2 are a major advancement. So I decided to get an inexpensive older computer to use for the time being. I use it for internet, Quickbooks (my financials), and other light use. So it fits my current needs perfectly. I will probably sell it in the future for a few bucks for someone who just needs a computer for light use. The computer is fast enough for my current needs. If you intend on playing video games or do heavy processing (photoshop), this is probably not the laptop for you (it is not meant to do that). I would have given it 5 stars if it had a built in camera, which unfortunately it doesn't. This is great for a first laptop. November 27, 2013 I got a refurbished Dell D630 "B Unit": - 2.0 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo - 4GB RAM - 80 GB Hard Drive - CD/DVD-RW - Official Windows 7 Professional License with recovery disc - Battery & AC adapter (power supply) included - 120 Day Limited Warranty - Refurbished by a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- You can't beat the price. The performance is up to par. The only fault is the hinge for the screen isn't very sturdy. Although that is probably the case with most laptops on the market. I would not recommend this for neglectful children; because as I said before the hinges are not very sturdy. Without the AC adapter I get about 15mb/s for file transfer/ With the AC adapter I get about 30mb/s for file transfer. Very nice computer! Butmodem failed January 12, 2013 This computer is everything that I hoped for and works perfectly. Was extremely pleased that it came with a full MS Office suite installed. Pro: Everything works, price was right Con: A little slow, desktop items a bit small, outside has a few minor scratches, not very clean. I ordered this after returning a new Aesus laptop with Windows 8 which I don't care for. Saved about $180, too.. Follow up: I bought this computer for my wife for Christmas, two years ago. Everything worked as described above until a week ago - when it would no longer access the internet. It appeared the wireless modem had failed. I figured that was the end of that computer but I just happened to have an old wireless addapter PCMIA card that I hadn't used for years, plugged it in and it worked like new. (If you have to buy one, they cost about twelve bucks.) |
Three Star Reviews: | 4% The notebook is fine; however December 24, 2016 The notebook is fine; however, I ordered 4 of them for gifts and each one of them had bent spirals. When I tried to straighten them out the ends popped out of the holes. I believe this was due to the delivery/storage process. The actual notebook was as expected. 50/50... December 11, 2015 The pages are slightly thinner than I expected - if you write with pen it ghosts through, which is better than bleeding but still. The cover is also a thick cardboard with paper so the edges came all messed up. When I pay $12 for a notebook I expect a quality cover. Other than that I think the overall design is nice and, if the notebook arrives perfectly, should be able to be kept nice if not shoved into a bag for school or anything. I also really like the size despite the ring not fitting proper on the bottom. (I had to shove it in, and it still doesn't close right + there's glue in it??) But I probably wouldn't buy another one though just because quality covers/binding are important to me and this seems more like paying for a Brand. | 11% Nice. Exactly as the seller stated. November 11, 2016 The laptop itself is in awesome shape giving how old it is. But, some of the programs my husband needs to be able to use cannot put on here. So, that was my misjudgement..Other than that very clean, and exactly as the seller displayed it. I was initially pretty happy with this product but that happiness faded March 31, 2016 I was initially pretty happy with this product but that happiness faded. For starters, it says the OS is Windows 7 but it was Vista. The wifi switch is broken in the off position, so I had to buy a wifi adapter for it. Now, three months later, the hard drive is dying and has to be replaced. It's an old laptop and very rugged, still in good condition for all that so it's not a total loss, but I'm definitely disappointed. It's fine. For what I need January 30, 2016 It's fine. For what I need, it will do for now. The Windows program is out of date, but that's fine for now. It's fine as an in-between computer. I will definitely have to replace it some time soon. Good computer - lousy company to buy it from March 8, 2015 The computer was great - but the power cord was totally shot - I ended up going to Staples for a replacement and the battery life was nonexistent. But the computer itself was everything I was hoping for. So the computer itself - five stars. The company that refurbished it and sold it to me gets a negative two stars for not bothering to make sure the power cord or the battery worked. I won't purchase from them again but I love the Dell Latitude For the Price can't expect perfect. December 29, 2013 The shipping address in the box said: Order 109-7571000-5105025 Kristin Perma 395 Salisbury St Holden, MA 01520-1423 Price same as mine $149.48 - But not me. Hope she's OK with mine. My DVD drive will not allow me to open a file and opening a new tab sends me to internet connection problems that requires a reboot. I have had to system restore 5 times since purchace. I will have to say that for $149 you get what you pay for. I'm sure the seller will agree. Steve Liles Baytown, TX 77520 |
Two Star Reviews: | 0% There are no reviews yet | 5% Didnt know how much of an older version it was ... September 16, 2017 Didnt know how much of an older version it was and it disconnects itself from the WiFi sometimes and I have to constantly change the date and time pack after the laptop has been off for a whole in order to use it and I have to keep it on the charger in order to use it if I unplug it the laptop cuts off I wish I had looked a little closer at this ... June 4, 2016 I wish I had looked a little closer at this. Loaded with Windows XP? What year is this? Tried to download windows 10 and their is a problem downloading it. Going to have to buy a new hard drive and see what I can do to fix this issue. Good, But!!! February 21, 2015 Actually, I bought this used laptop last year as a gift for my nephew. But, it only worked for a month and broke down. I really felt disappointed by such a purchase. I could not returned it because the warranty period expired. Dell Latitude - refurbished January 14, 2015 This is an old computer, so you wouldn't expect it to be great. Unfortunately, it came with the wrong operating system. It was listed as XP, which I need for my software, and it had Windows 7. Big problem. I reported the problem to the seller, he didn't get back to me for 36 hours, I had to have the computer for work so I paid a computer repair company $150 to put in XP, more than the computer cost. There are minor issues still: The battery doesn't hold a charge. The curser and letters sometimes don't work. Otherwise, it's okay. |
One Star Reviews: | 0% There are no reviews yet | 17% Never buy refurb from Discount18! March 19, 2016 Don't do it! Purchased last summer hoping for a not too slow, but also not an extremely high end computer. Somewhere in the middle. Received on August 1st. In the box was a no-name charger, the computer, "Instructions" in very broken English, and a disc for Windows XP. At first glance of the computer, looked OK, however the product key on bottom was for Windows Vista Business. Booted it up, and it completed some installation process and booted to the desktop. Came with AVG and Open Office. Pretty sure the copy of XP installed on it was illegal. Fell apart in a few months. As follows is my experience with the "computer". 8/1/15: not too bad at first, WiFi slow but not that big of a deal. Ran decently fast, given the age. Ran Hard Disk Sentinel on it. 74% health and six bad sectors. Should have raised a red flag right there, but given the age thought it was OK. October 2015, charger burnt out, had to buy a new one. Still OK, the charger had no brand on it anyways. November 2015: starting around here was when it started to slow down bad. Reinstalling Windows did not help, even trying Windows 7 and the new 10. December 2015: burning capability on disk drive stopped working right. Nothing to do with Windows. January 2016, started getting even slower. February 2016, even slower now. Battery is completely toast. Computer started overheating. Cleaning it out did not help. Started to get Blue Screens of Death. Ran the Hard Disk Sentinel. Health is 33% with 59 bad sectors now. This number would gradually increase and the health would go down with it. Slow enough now that watching YouTube became a chore. As I said before, reinstalling Windows helped nothing. March 2016: 81 bad sectors, 23% health. Almost unusable for anything but the most basic tasks. One night I turned it on and it made hideous noises and took like 10 minutes to boot. Now it's 100 bad sectors and rising. Internal fan was not working at this point. Then you get the Blue Screen of Death saying a critical process has been terminated. Then it was done for. Opened it up to find a very old hard drive from an HP computer, and an off brand battery. So if you want an old piece of junk that lasts less than a year, THEN BY ALL MEANS BUY REFURBISHED FROM DISCOUNT18! Not satisfied with the laptop at all October 3, 2015 Laptop overheated, the charging unit got quite hot when used for charging the battery. The CD drawer didn't open properly. Not satisfied with the laptop at all. I sent back for refund, not received quality merchandise or my money back. Disappointing to Say the least I recommend keep looking for a laptop July 1, 2015 Six months after purchase the monitor will not power on... It did not have MS Office as described. The charger it came with gets hot after 5 minutes. Battery does not maintain a charge (even after I bought a replacement charger). It does not play DVDs. Dell Latitude 14-1 Inch Notebook PC April 5, 2014 I needed a laptop for a business trip. It had to run on XP Professional. My own office contains two XP Professional desktops to which external hard drives containing a number of codes and data files are attached. The Dell laptop was available within the length of time I needed to install the necessary software and one of the external hard drives for the trip. The laptop crashed within two weeks of its delivery while I was in Europe. The video card failed I got some use out of it, but the laptop is irreparable. The external hard drive was not damaged. bought a bad computer SAVE YOUR MONEY July 27, 2013 We got this computer thinking it was going to be a good computer they said it was ready to go in good working order we got it and the computer still had the person who had it before us information on it and his temp files from internet and to many different programs on it that didn't need to be there the computer came with a virus on it we tried to run a virus scan and the computer wouldn't even let us do that it kept shutting down and going to the blue death screen we are going to have to pay someone $150 to fix the computer and that's more than the computer cost if I were you I wouldn't waste my time or money on this product because you will have to pay more to fix it than it cost SAVE YOUR MONEY |
