Good to try flavors

Bought these for my fiancé to try. He didn't like about half of the flavors but still liked to be able to try them all. He ended up giving the flavors he didn't like to coworkers

Nice looking machine w/ high end options
October 8, 2016
Nice looking machine w/ high end options - cup size options are a great feature and the machine is easy to use and set up (just plug in and add water. Reservoir holds plenty of water, i haven't overfilled (there's a max fill line) but do not see an issue if you go above the line. It is removable if you need to take it to the water source. I use filtered water to prevent excessive deposit buildup in the water lines and hope this extends the life of the product as that has been the downfall of my previous single cup machines. Warning- the first several uses will have a slight plastic taste to them but this goes away over time. It has an interesting feature where it dries out the kcup after brewing, not necessary but at least you're not tossing soaking wet/dripping kcups. I got it in red and it's really nice looking.
perfecto!

This is an excellent single serve coffee maker. I personally have owned a Keurig brewer and I have had no problems with it, but naturally it is a more expensive coffee maker. I was seeking out a less expensive option to use at school. Having multiple people use it, and having in a public building, we did not want to spend a ton of money. I bought another name brand single serve brewer and the coffee maker was experiencing hardships in brewing an average sized k cup. This popped up on my amazon for recommended items, and I am SO glad it did. This brewer is just like a Keurig. It uses the Keurig name and it holds a good amount of water in the reservoir so you don't have to fill after each cup. I have successfully brewed multiple k cups with ease. The water heats up quickly (quicker than my name brand Keurig) and the coffee came out hot and delicious. I wish I would have purchased one of these for myself rather than spending the money on a more expensive item. I highly recommend this coffee maker for single cup coffee lovers.
Would recomment to anyone

Bought this for my husband for a Fathers Day gift. I had looked at so many and initially had planned on buying the Kurig brand. After reading lots of reviews on the Kurig brand, the most common complain seemed to be that you had to buy their k-cups which are more expensive. I read where there were ways to bypass that but really didn't want to have to rig it up to work. So glad I found this one!! It was cheaper than the Kurig brand ones and it does just as good. He loves it! We have used so many different brand k-cups as well as the k-cup you can get where you add regular coffee to it. He probably uses that the most but when we had just a regular coffee maker he was always making a whole pot but only drinking a cup or 2 so a lot got wasted not to mention the time it took to brew a whole pot. Now a container of coffee last so much longer because he makes a cup at a time and he loves that he is able to brew a cup within a minute of walking out the door. He says the coffee seems much smoother. The only cup is has not fit is his Yeti so if he wants to use that he just brews in a smaller cup and pours it in the Yeti.
Works good, a little cheaper than Keurig.- Needed some maintenance
December 7, 2014
So far so good. Ordered this for work with a group of co-workers. Probably makes about 10 cups per day of coffee. We don't take out the water pitcher from the side to refill from the water cooler, we just use another pitcher to refill reservoir. That would be my biggest criticism of this design is that it is difficult to remove and replace the water reservoir. No problem if you just fill it with another container. For some reason the Blue colored machine was cheaper than the others. Check the different colors for price variation. I save $10 by buying the blue colored k-cup brewer.Takes longer than a regular Keurig to make a cup of coffee. Takes about 2 minutes from the time you push the button till you can safely remove your piping hot coffee and cup from below the dispensing spout. For the price and convenience everyone is very happy with the purchase. For a bold cup of coffee I'd recommend the Green Mountain Dark Magic. A personal favorite. My Daughter has one of these in her home, about 6 months now. Still working great for her as well.04/14/2016 - Update - Had this at work, probably used about 6 times per day during weekdays. Quit working. Makes noise like it's brewing but it isn't sucking water in anymore. Maybe it's hard water or maybe it just died. Will look for some recommendations on how to make it work again but it's dead for now.04/16/2016 - Took a toothpick pushed it up into the metal piercing needle that pierces the k-cup. Coffee grinds fell out, continued to do so until more coffee grinds fell out. Fixed it! Brewed several times without a k-cup, lots of coffee grind came out in first two cups, third cup clear. Works great now. Weird is that someone pushes clean water out through the machine daily as they make tea. Note to myself not to leave coffee pods in overnight or over the weekend. Dry up and block the hot water from pushing into the k-cup.
nice solid built machine
September 22, 2014
Works great. Solidly built and at a reasonable cost. I knew I didn't want the new 2.0 system. For one it's too expensive. Secondly it takes special k-cups. The new 2.0 kcups have some kind of copy protection scheme. You can't just use any kcups. The new ones have some kind of sensor in the foil--meaning the company gave Keurig a kickback for the right to make the 2.0 kcup. I suppose Keurig is worried about "unauthorized" kcups on the market. Of course it just came out and people have already circumvented the "DRM". Sorry, I don't need a coffee pot that is locked down tighter than an iPhone. C'mon Keurig!!!That's what drew me to the Mr. Coffee. It takes any kcup and even the "My K-cup" for use with my own coffee. It's perfect in the morning to make a quick cup of coffee on my way out the door.
So far so good!
December 18, 2013
We had been using a small single-serve maker that uses the Senseo pods, which we love as well. The problem is if you need them on the spur of the moment, they aren't easily attainable. Local markets do stock them, but in very small quantities. Anyhow, we waited as long as we could to join the Keurig bandwagon since according to reviews, these machines are very unreliable and expensive.I knew my wife was very interested because of the ease of use and all the different flavored coffees in ALL of the stores. I saw the price of this machine on Amazon and thought why not. It's reasonably priced so if it breaks in 6 months, at least we scratched the Keurig itch. So far we have no complaints.I really enjoy the 40oz. water reservoir. With the Senseo we had to pour measured water in each time. I love being able to pop a k-cup in and just hit a button and have a cup of great coffee a minute later. Some basic overall points:1) If you are like me and need your coffee steaming hot (hate lukewarm coffee and tea), what I've found is that the coffee produced is hot enough if you're drinking it without cream or milk. If you do add those things then you will likely need to nuke the coffee for 30 seconds or so to make up for the cold creamer.2)There is no off switch. The machine keeps water at a constant temperature. Obviously, if this concerns you electricity wise you can unplug the machine when not in use and it doesn't take long for the machine to heat the water.NOTE: Here's an odd tip. If you do unplug the machine as I do, when you go to make a cup make sure you plug the machine in and turn it on first before loading the K-cup. If you try to grab a k-cup and load it before plugging machine in then it won't begin to brew when you hit the start button. You then have to open the cup holder and close it again before brewing.3) Very easy machine to use. This isn't one of those Keurig machines with the blue screen with all the options. On this one you have a button to pick size of cup you want (6 oz, 8 oz, etc) and the start button which turns machine on when it has been unplugged and begins the brew cycle.4) If you care about such things, it's an impressive looking machine on your counter top. I also have the spinning chrome k-cup holder that holds 30 or so cups in it sitting right next to the machine on the granite counter top and it's like having a coffee house in your kitchen. This is a very solid looking machine with a decent sized footprint. Again, I'm coming from a small senseo single serve pod machine so maybe that's why this one stands out as so large and bulky to me.5) One final tip. If for some reason the machine doesn't spit any coffee out once you've started the brewing process, check the bottom of the k-cup. On one of mine the hole punched on the bottom of the cup ended up not being large enough and I guess the pressure of the backup forced the machine to stop the brewing. That's only happened once to us so far.At the end of the day I'd recommend this machine. It's reasonably priced, has performed well so far, fits any size cup, easy to use, etc. Based on reviews for these type of machines and how often they break down, I'd be happy to get a year out of this one based on the price. We shall see.

Not wonderful, but not bad
April 15, 2016
I bought this for the office.I wanted something inexpensive, a decent reservoir, not picky about 'genuine' K-cups, and inexpensive...yes, I said that twice! This fits the bill.I have the Kuerig B70 at home, and there's a Kuerig 2.0 at work I don't like to use. That's pretty much what I'm comparing this to.The pros:It's cheap. It makes a mighty hot cup of coffee. It looks nice. The cons:It's fairly slow, both in brewing and reheating. If this is for a breakroom, don't bother. It's noisy. The pump runs a lot and makes quite a bit more noise than my Kuerig B70, but roughly the same as the 2.0. It doesn't rattle windows, but it'll take a while to tune it out. A lot of the time I hear it running, but it's not brewing and it's not sucking water from the reservoir. Not sure what that's all about. It makes a hot cup of coffee, so if you enjoy coffee but not melting your face off, you'll have to wait a couple more minutes for the cup to stop glowing.A very, very stupid short cord. It's about a foot long. They say it's for safety, but you pretty much have to use an extension cord, which is inherently more unsafe than just the supply cord, whether in the kitchen or the office.I was on the fence about returning it, but it suits my needs. I don't care about the noise or the speed. I just don't want to schlep through the whole building for a cup of coffee just to have the Kuerig 2.0 tell me it doesn't like my coffee and go on strike. Kuerig really blew it with that one.If you want an inexpensive K-cup machine, and you aren't looking to impress anybody, and you aren't in a hurry, you should look into this one.I really like the Cuisinart too, however every Cuisinart branded item I've purchased died before its time, especially their coffee makers that grind coffee beans. Mr. Coffee has a good reputation.Recommend.
Makes a decent cuppa!

After having 3 Kuerigs, all dying within 18 months after careful care/cleaning/de-scaling; I gave up on buying another Kuerig by brand single cup Brewer. I am a coffee snob, and was doubtful this would would meet my rather high expectations. The coffee maker arrived today. I cleaned it first with 10oz white vinegar, and a full water reservoir. I ran all the water/vinegar mixture until it blinked for more water. Filled the reservoir back with just clean and filtered water, and ran it all through again to ensure the vinegar was out of the system.Time for the first 'real' test. Filled reservoir back up with filtered water. Put in a k-cup pod of Green Mountain Dark Roast (what I drink @work, so I had a benchmark). Hit brew. Coffee came out. Was at a good temperature, and tasted *almost* as good as the coffee @work from a commercial class Kuerig (which has been replaced 4 times in 3 years... another reason why I was giving up on Kuerig by brand name...)Only downside is it seems to take a little longer to heat up and brew than my Kuerigs did. Granted, it could be because I brewed at least 8 cups in a row, but it did brew once it heated the water. So, bottom line: It is a good Brewer. It makes hot coffee. The coffee tastes like coffee, and not hot brown water. It costs less than a comparable Kuerig. Time will tell as far as it's reliability goes, but I have decent expectations for it.
If you don't mine waiting...
December 9, 2015
This Mr Coffee, actually works longer than any of the other Keurig coffee makers, under different names, I have used. The others, the water pumps, all went out within 1 year of purchase but this just keeps going. Only 1 complaint, and that is, it has to draw up and heat water between each cup of coffee. The others I had, had a resevoir of at least 2 cups of hot water, ready to go, so that more than 1 person could get a cup of coffee, at one time without waiting. So each cup of coffee takes nearly 1 minute a piece. So if you are alone, or only need one cup of coffee at a time, this is great, and less expensive. If there are 2 of you, someone will be frustrated.
Pleasantly surprised!!
February 15, 2014
Several friends of mine have the Keurig Brand single cup brewer, which they all paid over $150 for. I will admit the coffee did taste good but I felt the brewer was just to much money for me. Than I saw this Mr. Coffee brewer powered by Keurig, on Amazon, for about half the price. So I figured since Keurig had their name on it how bad could it be? Besides I could always send it back. So I purchased it about a month ago and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. The Mr. Coffee brewer looks almost exactly like the Keurig with all the same features on it.At first, I used the 6 k-cup assortment that came with the brewer and I was impressed with how good some of the brand name coffees tasted(Green Mountain, Starbucks, Neumans) and how quickly it was produced. I like a strong cup of coffee so I found out that the 8 oz cup setting was perfect for me. The 6 oz is to strong for me and the 10 oz was a little to light. So far, the Starbucks Pike Place Roast is my favorite k-cup.I also purchased the little bucket assembly for using your own brand coffee instead of the k- cups( which can be pricey). I used Chock Full of Nuts and Folgers coffee in the little bucket and they both really tasted good ,better tasting than my 12 cup Cuisinant .I didn't give the brewer a 5 star rating because it does take several minutes for it to recycle to get a second cup of coffee right after you made the first one. The Keurig is faster !!!Also, Mr.Coffee suggests that you leave the power on all the time. In fact, you really can't shut the brewer off unless you pull the plug. But, there is a quick setting that you can use that will make the brewer shut off in 2 hours after you use it.I leave it on all the time. So far no problems.Bottom line, a great cup of coffee from a very good coffee brewer at about half the price of the Kuerig..
Works well, fewer features than Keurig
December 21, 2013
Initial impression is that it is a solid machine, the mechanism to load K-cups is straightforward and seems to create a solid, flat seal with the K-cup. Brewing speed is slower than my previous Keurig - about 30-45 seconds between each cup where the Keurig was ready in about 10-15 seconds. On the other hand, the water temperature is definitely hotter on the Mr. Coffee brew; I need to cool the drink a bit before sipping whereas the Keurig was drinkable immediately after the brew. I see the hotter water as an advantage of the Mr. Coffee model.Power saver mode can be enabled (shut off after 2 hours of non-use) or disabled (always on) by pressing and holding the power/brew and cup selector buttons for 5 seconds. The water reservoir seems smaller than it could be. The reservoir allows for 4 10-oz cups which leads me to fill it about 2 times a day in my house. Part of the reservoir space is lost due to the inset created as a handle so that the tank can be more easily lifted and held while filling it.I do miss the feature of a timer - being able to automatically turn on the machine and let it pre-heat in the morning so that I can quickly make a mug of coffee for the road on my way through the kitchen, then shut off 10 minutes later. The brewer turns on automatically when the brew head is lifted to insert a K-cup and the brewer is ready in about 1 minute. Turning the brewer off manually requires holding down the power button for 5 seconds. If you don't wait the full five seconds, a brewing cycle starts (thank goodness for the drip tray!).All-in-all, it is handy and it has the basic functionality of the Keurig models, including the ability to use the "My K-cup" system for your personal loose tea or ground coffee. This machine, like so many small appliances, is made in China... (sigh). The price is good, but personally, I would be willing to pay an extra $20=$30 if it was a quality product with a "Made In The USA" stamp on it.I've cycled through three Keurig machines in the past 3 years; the most recent Keurig developed a pump leak and shorted out the power supply, So, I'm anxious to see how the Mr. Coffee brand with Keurig "technology" holds up in the long run.
Provides coffee equal in strength to that of Keurig brewers
June 23, 2013
After burning through two fairly high priced Keurig k-cup brewers, I looked around for a replacement by a different brand. "Mr. Coffee" has been around a long time and because they have established licensing for Keurig k-cup brewing and have marketed this model brewer at a much more reasonable price, I decided to try their product. I'm glad I did. Both Keurig products failed at the stage where hot water is to be pumped through the k-cup...they just failed to pump. (I use only filtered soft water in my brewers.) This unit has a pump for that stage of the brew cycle that sounds far more substantial than those in the previous Keurig product. It hasn't yet stood the test of time, but as of now I am extremely happy with the choice. The only complaint is with implementation of the loading mechanism: it feels flimsy when opened to remove/insert a k-cup. Also the water reservoir has lower capacity than the previous brewers I've owned. Otherwise I'm very happy with the brewer and would recommend it to friends without hesitation.

*ALL* single-serve K-Cup brewers are prone to break down/ need replacement!
May 14, 2016
This is an updated review. I have owned *SEVERAL K-cup & Keurig-licensed machines over the yrs! Having purchased this unit in March of 2016, I was thrilled that at 1/3rd the price of my actual broken old former Keurig brand K-cup Machine, that *this* Mr. Coffee unit seemed to be more robust and sturdy, as well as the sound and noises that this unit made were "healthier and more robust" than my prvs Keurig and Cuisinart single-serve k-cup units. *Those* machines seemed to wheeze and work harder at the task of brewing a good cup...*now* it's the end of September, 2016 and the unit died over a month ago, refuses to push water threw to brew... and I have done *everything* the Mfr. says to do to clean and unclog the unit. kaput! I bought this thing when it was first offered at a good price... like $57 ... now I see they're asking you for circa $80... I'm not sure that *any* of these single-serve-brewer-machines, as a group, can *EVER* BE RELIABLE, the technology/design/durability factor, after well over a decade, just isn't there. In 6 months-to-maybe over two years: plan on buying areplacement, REGARDLESS of whose unit you buy!
Good brewer, a few glitches
April 7, 2016
This is the second one of these I have gotten, the first one leaked during the brewing process, so I let them know and they replaced the unit. The replacement process was easy and they shipped my new coffee maker right away. The only problem with this unit is I can't seem to get it to turn off. It does not turn off automatically and pushing the 'off' button does not work either, so we are forced to unplug the machine when not in use. If there is some trick to turning this thing off I would be glad to find out!Otherwise I like the machine, it is easy to use and makes a great cup of coffee, every bit as well as my old Keurig.
Not horrible, but for the price, I expected more!
November 23, 2015
I had high hopes for this little machine. It is compact, uses a variety of single-serve cup options including K-Cups, and Mr. Coffee is known to make a decent cup of coffee. But after almost a year of use, I have to say I've been very disappointed in this machine. Here auare some of my issues:*The water reservoir is very small and needs refilling often*The machine can get very hot while powered on and there is no auto-shut off which is a bit of a safety issue*Takes a very long time to heat up and be ready to brew*Doesn't make a very good up of coffee using standard K-Cups, about standard with Keriug*Very loudIf you're looking for a basic little machine, this is it, but for the money, I expected more. I have finally decided to bail on this for my office and I am switching over to a Nespresso machine instead.
it makes pretty good coffee
January 13, 2015
It leaks out the bottom; the tank doesn't seal right and every couple days we have to lift it up and mop off the water. I wouldn't buy it again. Otherwise, it makes pretty good coffee, looks nice on our counter and is easy to use.We have decided to return it and Amazon is going to send us a replacement unit. Perhaps this one was merely defective for some reason. If the next one works better, I will return here and give it an improved rating.Updated on 1/22/15. Amazon has great service, we returned the one that leaked and got our new machine very quickly. The new Mr. Coffee BVMC has not leaked, at least so far. It is my impression the coffee comes out a little warmer, the water now steams and it didn't on the first one that was returned, and the coffee seems to taste better. I'm upping my rating to 3 stars. It would have been 4 but the first one didn't work right so I'm making a deduction. In summary, this machine makes pretty good coffee quickly, it is very convenient, looks good on our counter and I now consider it a good purchase. My wife and I both like San Francisco Fog Chaser and I really like eight o'clock, the original. Fog chaser is envrionmentally friends, relatively inexpensive and has a taste we both enjoy. We think it is a good buy with this machine. I buy the eight o'clock at my local Farewary Store where it is cheaper than on Amazon. Hope this helps someone.
Seems broken, but pump just needs priming for first use!
March 22, 2014
Many people have had trouble with these, where on the initial use it just keeps saying that it needs water. The problem is that these pumps need to be primed first, and the machine isn't doing it. Mine was doing exactly this, so here's what I did:1. Remove the reservoir.2. Fill the small cavity where the reservoir drains into the coffee machine with water.3. Now you need to help get that little bit of water into the pump (prime it) so that it can start pumping. To do this you need to apply some pressure while pressing the brew button. I did this by using a turkey baster with the bulb removed. I placed the large end of the baster over the cavity, pushing down to make a bit of a seal, and blew into the other end while pushing the button. You should hear the sound of the pump change, which indicates that some of the water is getting in there. The pump is now primed and should be able to work on its own.4. Replace the reservoir, and push the brew button again (maybe a couple of times if needed).Presto! Now it works.Hope this helps!!
Defective (getting replacement) but I like the machine
January 28, 2014
I read on many reviews that the machine was defective straight out of the box....specifically the Fill Water light wouldn't stop blinking. I decided to take a chance and buy it anyways. Sure enough, I was one of the unlucky ones to get a defective machine. I have asked for a replacement and will update my review after I receive a working one but these are my thoughts on the machine so far:Pros:-Great price-Solid (doesn't seem cheap)-Removable base to accommodate taller cups-5 different k cups included as samplesCons: (besides the obvious not working part)-In my opinion, the water reservoir seems annoying to put on/off. I plan on leaving it on the machine and using a pitcher to refill.-Awkwardly tall. Fits on counter under standard cabinets but I need to pull it out in order to open the dome for the k-cups.-Removeable base (to accommodate taller cups) seems extremely cheap compared to the rest of the machine. I like the concept of this piece but its such cheap, flimsy plastic I worry about how it will hold up after regular use (especially with hot mugs on cheap/thin plastic).-Not-very-user-friendly interface. There is a button for Brew/Off and a button to toggle between the cup sizes. There is also a light to show that it is heating up as well as when you need to fill the water reservoir. I know I'm getting what I paid for I just wish it was a little more special in the button department.Again, I can't comment on the actual brew performance or quality of coffee until I receive my (hopefully working) replacement. I will update this review at that time.

I've owned 2 of these machines in just over a year, both have leaked water out from under the reservoir tank.Had the first one replaced only to have the next one begin leaking in the same manner. After some research I found that the return nozzle that returns water to the tank is too short and allows water to run behind the tank. This can be "helped" by turning the return spout 45 degrees toward the rear of the machine, however it does not cure the problem. It will still get water behind the tank and eventually start over filling the spill tray and leaking water onto the counter.I would think that Mr Coffee would fix this issue since it's a relative easy fix ... just make the return spout a little longer so that it prevents water from getting between the tank and the machine.
I would not recommend this machine
March 12, 2017
I bought this Mr. Coffee machine a year ago. I rarely used it for 6 months, until I started working from home. Then I started using it to make 5 or 6 cups of coffee a day. It is now leaking water from underneath. I would not recommend this machine. I'm buying the Keurig which is actually a couple buck cheaper. I will give it 2 stars though because when it did work, it worked well and made a great cup of coffee. The plastic side pitcher to hole the water comes out easily for filling or just refill with an additional pitcher as I usually did.
Save your money for a real Keurig
September 11, 2016
After reading the reviews and feeling more and more dissatisfied with my Keurig brand brewer, and the price, I thought this would be worth a try. 6 months later it's DOA, it just pumps water out the bottom. I'm waiting to hear back from Jarden - I tried the online chat which is a huge waste of time - it's buggy and kicked me off in the middle of a chat several times. A few times I would get to the #1 spot and it would say there were no agents available try again later. The agent did tell me the brewers ARE WAY OLDER THAN THE PURCHASE DATE. We will see if it's an issue for the warranty.I'm kind of glad it's dead, I never really liked it as well as the real thing. Mostly little annoying things. Like when you buy a pair of cheap sunglasses. They work but...It took too long to heat up, it was such a tease - it sat there looking ready to brew but as soon as I needed a cup it would have to heat which took way longer than the Keurig ever did. It has a setting to put it to sleep or something but that wasn't the problem, I tried both options. Our coffee maker is on a side table so the cord needs to be able to reach a standard height outlet from a standard height table, it's about 2" short. Every other coffee maker we have had for 15 years can reach. This detail - saving 2" of electrical cord probably saves the company thousands, and let's them sell this model for a few bucks less. If your coffee maker is directly in front of an outlet, then no worries. In summaryDead after 6 monthsSlow to brew (even after the water is hot)Slow to heatThe styling is OKThe cup size selector is a thumbs down - especially for a blearry eyed sleepy person trying to get coffeeThe cord is ridiculously shortI will not buy this again. If they warranty it out and send me a new one, I'll keep it as a back up.
Stick with a Keurig!!

I miss my Keurig!!!! A friend recommended this product, she has one, after my Keurig broke down after almost 7 years. I bought it but then my Keurig started working again so my Mr. Cofee sat for a month until I finally had to say good bye to the Keurig. This product is ok here are the issues I have with it.....1. Takes way too long to heat the water up to brew!2. I keep getting coffee grounds in my coffee, yuck!!3. The cup sizes available need to be larger.4. The K-Cups seem to keep a lot of water in them. What I like about it.....1. Price2. Takes the same K-CupsIt took me about 10 minutes, maybe a little longer this morning to make my to go cup of coffee, WAY, WAY too long!!! I posted a picture of my to go cup I use, in the Keurig, I used the same K-Cup, brewed twice and I was good to go.....this machine, I think I used 2 K-Cups so I brewed it 4 different times and the water had to keep reheating, I didn't think it would ever be done! I was about to say heck with it but I need my morning coffee!!If you can get a Keurig, I would and if I didn't wait so long to open this item, I would 100% return it but it isn't able to be returned, boohoo!!!
The first one was a gift and I loved it! Less than a year later it died
November 24, 2014
This is the 2nd Mr. Coffee BVMC-KG6-001 I have owned. Each lasted less than a year. The first one was a gift and I loved it! Less than a year later it died. I ordered a new one and was once again very happy! I do love my morning coffee; having it ready quickly and easily is such a bonus! However, now there's an issue with this one. It leaks from the bottom! Reviews say that's an issue, so I'm going to keep using it until it dies or the water that goes in immediately goes out ~ whichever comes first. However, I won't order another one. I long for the days when a product was so well made that it lasted a good long time making it worth the money spent. Spending $80 a year on a machine is wasteful! Now that I've said all of that, I think I'll post a positive review about my Kindle e-Reader and Mr. Coffee cup warmer! See? Mr. Coffee can make something that works well and lasts. Just wish it was my coffee maker!
worked great for about 4 months. . .

We bought this in December, and LOVED it.By early March it was behaving oddly. If you pushed the button for a 6 ounce cup, sometimes you got 6 ounces, sometimes 4 and sometimes 2. It didn't really matter what button you pushed, there was no telling how much coffee you'd end up with. It also never turned itself off, which it's supposed to do it you don't use it for a while. So we read the cleaning instructions, and for a week or two it was better? But then it went right back to random amounts of coffee.Today is April 23rd, and it quit working this morning. It tries to pump, and all the lights are on, but nothing comes out. We've tried everything, including troubleshooting online and in the owners manual.Amazon won't take a return -- we've had it too long -- so we've contacted the manufacturer. There's a one year warranty on it? Not sure what we're doing about tomorrow morning. . .

Not all k cups work with the newer Keurigs. I guess you can tell if you look closely at the picture of the variety pack but I didn't until after the fact.
Weak tasting coffee

All flavors taste weak, extremely watered down.
expires in one month?

Would not allow me to leave a review without giving at least one star. This item was just purchased for Christmas and the expiration date is 1-2-16???
the variety was good.

Three of the samples were used! They had the holes in the top and bottom of the k-cup. Besides that, the variety was good.

Very disappointed, these coffees do not work with the Keurig 2.0 which is what I have. Actually, thus far no coffee company sells a variety single serve for the Keurig 2.0 to my knowledge.

Lasted for 3 days, 6 cups of coffee. Warranty not honored by Mr. Coffee

Lasted for 3 days, 6 cups of coffee. Warranty not honored by Mr. CoffeeReceived BVMC-KG6 from Amazon on October 5 2016.Stopped working on October 7 2016.I called Mr. Coffees Warranty number and talked to their Service Representative. They asked me for the number found on one of the prongs of the power plug.It was G146, I was told that this product is over one year old so is no longer Warranted.I discarded the original packaging that this came in as it did work the first day out of the box.Does Amazon allow returns if the original packaging/box it came is gone? This also came with a box of 5 Keurig Brew cups past their expiration date.A sticker on this box has a best used date of July 25 2015.
Don't do it! I've only been using this product ...

Don't do it! I've only been using this product a year and a few months and it has started to leak. The tubing used to recycle the heated water into the plastic tank is too short and causes a 'waterfall' between the plastic tank and the unit when it fills. The result is water all over the counter.Amazon won't help; I've been told to contact the manufacturer and was told there's only a 1-year warranty on this particular brewer.Guess I'll line my counter with towels every time I use it and cross my fingers...
I do not recommend!! We had two of these machines, both quit working within the FIRST WEEK of regular 1-2 cup a day usage.

I have purchased two, Mr. Coffee Single Serve Brewers within the last month, one from Wal Mart and one from Amazon. Both quit working within a few days of purchasing them. Neither made more than 5-6 cups of coffee total. I used bottled water and k-cups in both so I do not believe it was due to any fault of ours. With both brewers, the pump comes on but it doesn't pull any water from the reservoir into the machine, so nothing brews. It's also not a case of us not setting them up correctly, I know that because they each brewed a few cups before they quit working. I think they are faulty machines. I don't recommend them, at all. I guess I am back to searching for a decent single-serve machine.
not good
May 20, 2016
I've had the maker since May and it has failed already. The Add water lite is always on and you can't brew when that is true. I went to the hotline, but their suggestions did not work. I'm still trying. It is too late to return it, but I'm hoping for a refund of sorts.
It's a leaker!
April 5, 2016
We had this for less than a year before it started leaking. When I say leaking, I don't mean a trickle, I'm talking a full on lake! We really liked the different settings, he likes his coffee stronger, I like my cappuccino weaker & the kids like their hot chocolate right in the middle.
Don't buy this machine
February 15, 2015
Do not buy this machine.I have owned several keurig brand machines over the past few years, and it has been my experience that they last about a year before dying a slow, loud death (and yes, we de-scale the machine with vinegar on a regular basis). After my last one kicked the bucket, I decided to try a different brand machine. This one had good reviews for the most part so I took the plunge. It was a mistake. Within a couple of weeks it quit brewing. The brew light comes on, and when you push it, it begins heating the water. But no water ever comes out. We figured out that you could remove the K-cup and try again and water would come out, and then you could put the K-cup back in and brew a cup of coffee. While it is inconvenient and irritating to have to baby a new machine like this, I decided I could live with it. And then, 6 weeks after purchasing this blasted machine, it has quit altogether. The brew light comes on, the water sounds like it is heating, and NO WATER comes out- even with the K-cup removed. I am beyond frustrated. And of course, since it's been over 30 days, I can't return it to Amazon. I suppose Amazon thinks appliances only need to last for 30 days??
