| I love this NinjaOctober 21, 2017 wow what a great product. I have a large food processor for larger quantities but find this is my 90% go to when I need to process anything. I have a son that makes homemade pizza every Friday so when we visit him for the summer we know Friday is pizza day. He often purchases fresh pizza dough from the supermarket. However there are times when he makes NY style pizza dough from scratch. Since mom was visiting there he decided that making the dough was mom's job. (don't ya just love kids LOL) I saw that this Ninja made pizza dough. So, after making pizza dough for weeks I decided to give it a try. I was so worried I'd ruin my Ninja and was very Leary. Well, it made a perfect pizza dough. I have chopped, minced and it works perfect. I blend my smoothies in it perfectly. The only thing is I wish the cup for smoothies was larger and I don't see where I can get a larger one. I highly recommend this Ninja to everyone. I love it. AmazingSeptember 10, 2017 Amazing! I've had other blenders that I have to constantly mix up with a spoon to get all of the ice/frozen fruit to be blended. Not with this blender. I put all the ingredients in, pushed the handle down, and it blended everything so perfectly in just a few seconds. So far I've only made fruit smoothies in this so I don't know how it works for other ingredients but it is amazing for fruit. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, easy blender. Loving mineMay 1, 2017 I've been using this to make my own hot sauce and it's been working awesome for me. It is awesome for smoothies, and can grind frozen fruit and vegetables smoothly without any trouble whatsoever! The travel mug is the most convenient part of it! The only reason why I don't give it 5 stars is because of the poor job it does with blending ice. You really have to blend for a long time to get all the ice blended. A bit loud, but not so horrible....February 12, 2015 I am very pleased with the performance of this blender. It works as you would expect a blender to work. however it is a bit on the louder side of blenders I have used in the past (even those with similar wattage). My one complaint about this product is that the piece with the blades just sort of sits in the blender, but doesn't clip in at all or anything. When you tilt the blender to pour out of it (if you're one of those people who takes the top off to pour, as opposed to using the little pouring slot), if you tilt it too far the blade falls out. Maybe I was just spoiled with my last blender in that it screwed on to the bottom so as to not have this issue. Otherwise, I do like this product very much though. | Smoothies is the only thing it makes wellDecember 28, 2016 This is not my favorite kitchen product. The plastic pieces with it feel lightweight and cheap. I know this is called the Pulse, so maybe I should have expected this, but when I hold the top to blend it quickly begins making strange noises, and to blend something I'm forced to pulse it to the desired consistency, which takes a lot of my time and quite frankly makes me cranky. I will actually avoid making things I need to blend instead of using this.
The one thing I would say it has going for it is the super convenience of blending into the smoothie cups. My husband uses this to make smoothies and is happy with it, so if your only desire is to make smoothies or milkshakes and you want to spend $60 on this guy, go for it. | Not as great as many reviews sayJuly 6, 2017 Not as great as many reviews say. Major problem for me is when using containers (both small and large) with frozen things like frozen berries; the blades push the frozen berries or even ice to the sides which requires that I stop the blending, remove the lid and use a spatula to get the frozen items from the sides of the container so the blades will blend them. Don't Buy!!!June 16, 2017 The motor is good. But the blade is the worst I'v seen. I use it to make vegetable smoothies and it doesn't pulverize the vegetables. They do not blend well and chunks are left in the smoothies. I have to be careful of what I put in there. I used to have a Cuisinart mixer and that thing grinds everything up. vegetables were turned to liquid. Not with this Ninja. I even have one I bought for work, and it is 1000 rpm and it does the same thing. I can never get a smooth smoothie out of it. It is always in clumps .
I think I will sell the Ninja and get the Cuisinart. I don't have time to cut everything into minuscule pieces. I also own the BL450 and it does not pose that leaky problem. If I had to do again, I would go with the bigger stronger model, albeit this model does have a lot of attachment blah blah blah. Since I only use it for the blending feature, I don't think I'm giving this a fair shake. Bottom line: If u only use this for smoothies, don't! The BL450 would liquefy your ingredients better & faster. I advocate the BL450 just because I have it. There could be others that are better. One of my two BL450 leaks barring lubricant occasionally, it goes downward away from the food (I hope). I'm not sick, so I'll let it be. As a simple smoothie blender it did great I LOVED it until I tried to make cookie dough. the blender started smoking and totally fried itself.
