I ordered this and a few other dresses on Amazon Prime and crossed my fingers, as maternity formals are something they just don't seem to make. This dress was stunning, and I received tons of compliments on it. The color I purchased is a lovely, blue-hued red (not orangey or tomatoey). I am 5'7" and was planning/hoping to wear flats. When I tried on this gown, it zipped right up and the hem skimmed the floor perfectly. It was very wearable for me right out of the bag. It required no pressing (I hung it for a couple of days), and was very comfortable. In smaller sizes and with a tighter fit, you may not even need a bra--however, at this size you might not feel the dress has adequate support on its own, though it does give it a good try. It wasn't flattering on her at all but it was of good quality, it fit perfect, true to size, and looked very pretty. So even though it didn't work out for us, hopefully it'll work for someone else. However, it fit one of my other bridesmaids perfectly. I really like the style of this dress for my bridesmaids. The two things i like best about this dress are it's long enough to wear with very high heals, and it comes in a varying range of sizes. I ordered the dress a dark red dress, size 8. I wear an 8 in most dresses and usually fit them all without alterations, this dress fit perfectly. My bra size is also 34-36 D, the dress fit perfectly in that area too. I am 5'8" and also wearing heels with the dress in the pictures. | Very nice, especially for the priceJuly 18, 2017 The only part that didn't fit as expected was the chest, it was too big, which is always a problem for me. It's currently at the seamstresses getting shortened and taken in at the sides so the top isn't too big. Everything else fit perfect! And it's a very pretty berry color. | It fits good.....September 17, 2017 The fit is good, falls right to the floor in heels so I don't need it hemmed. I am 5 '3 and 112 size two wasn't tight but it fit well enough. The only thing is the pearl beading is large and ugly so I am still thinking if I will keep it or return it.
