These little things are awesome and will save you on a summer's picnic night. Pull a few of these out and cover up those hamburgers and dishes of potato salad and all you're worried about flies will disappear. They are so easy to use and so easy to store that I plan on buying several more of these. Well they are lightweight, they are heavy enough that they don't blow away in a heavy wind.They are a little fragile however so one must be careful when putting them up and taking them down so as to not break the string or tear the knitting.

We purchased these due to the fact it was a 4 pack. We have seen them in the stores, but liked the idea of getting more than one for the price. Out of the four, we had one that wouldn't work at first. It was a little bent and wouldn't lock in. With a little reshaping, we were able to get it to work. The covers are nice. We put them over our salads in the Inflatable Serving bar. It worked out great! On the table we place a towel under the item so that the cover rested on it. This took care of any gaps so critters couldn't crawl in. They pop up easily and and clean up easily. You then push on the button on the top and pull down. They all four store nicely in their box. The box is small, so it takes up very little room and they are ready for the next party! The Pop Up Mesh Screen Food Covers couldn't be easier to use or store. We highly recommend these and are very happy with our purchase.

I really liked having these out for our outdoor parties. They did a great job of keep bugs off and away from the food. I happen to like the way these sit over the other ones we have purchased. In the photo it is the bottom left cover. You do need to handle these with some care to prevent breaking them when you open or close them, don't try to force them or you will break them

Allow me to paint a picture for you. A picture of fly poop. On your food. As you know if you read the book, Everyone Poops. Flies are no exception. And if you've ever owned a bird you know that animals with short alimentary canals poop a LOT. Well just think how short a fly's alimentary canal is! The more you think about flies' alimentary canals, and fly poop, the more your mouse-clicky finger is moving involuntarily, Ouija board-like, to the Add To Cart button.I don't like eating fly poop. You don't like eating fly poop. Nobody likes eating fly poop except maybe other flies and who am I to judge them. But they can eat their own poop someplace other than on my food. These little pop-up nets will keep the flies and their poop-flavored seasoning off of your food. The garlic powder is enough, amiright?If you're still reading and haven't already bought these and closed your browser and disinfected your entire kitchen because of all the fly poop talk, well, I guess you like fly poop. Maybe you're an entomologist or possibly an etymologist in which case you can explain why it's not "insectologist", but I digress. YOU may enjoy fly poop on your food, but I'd bet a week's wages (after taxes) that your BBQ guests do not. The odds of two or more fly-poop-likers being in the same place that is not an entomology convention are, like, a bazillion to one against.Do your guests a favor, and buy a set of these nets. You can wear yours like a hat, ya fly-poop-lover, while everybody else has a good laugh, relaxed and secure in the knowledge that their food is poop-free.We used these camping, during, apparently, The Great Fly Invasion, and they did the job well. One of them got bent out of shape by someone who hadn't figured out how to close it, and it was easily bent back into shape. Two fellow campers said they were going to buy a set immediately. Best $11 I've spent on camping equipment lately.

I bought these for an outdoor party that never happened (moved indoors due to weather). BUT when I received them, I opened them to check them out. These are big and seemed pretty sturdy. I could see them being blown away in a strong wind though.I held onto them rather than returning because I think these will be great for future parties.Plus this was an awesome price for 4, compared to other sellers.

Came packaged just as shown they are made of good quality and worked perfectly for covering the food at my son's birthday party. They pop open easily with a little tug of the string and close just as easily. 4 to the package so definitely worth the money I have priced these a few different places and found them to be the cheapest here for how many you get. I am very satisfied with the item and the purchase for what I needed them for I got them in a timely manner after my order was placed. Hope that they last through several uses and can either stand many parties for my family. I am overall satistified with them.

These are such a great idea. You'd never know how much you need them until you have them. These are a bit flimsy but they're inexpensive and get the job done.

Haven't yet needed to use more than one, but I have used that one several times already. I make pies a lot, and use this to protect them from the flies. Yesterday I had a snack mix that needed stirring every so often for a couple of hours and the screen cover fit over that large bowl too.

Great for outdoor cookouts, picnics, keeps all bugs out of the food. Love using them. Some of them not made level all the way around and bugs, flies can get in if not even with the table it's sitting on. I had a couple not working properly, so check to see if they are in ok condition to use before using them.

For the price these are super duper. Used on July 4th along with the blow up ice buffet that we bought on Amazon. It keeps flies off the food BUT make sure you have all four legs firmly in ice or flat surfaced. Will not hold up to strong breeze but like I say, great for the price.

This worked great, but they are delicate. Be careful with them as the mesh is delicate as is the metal prongs to stretch it. They can get stuck a little at the top where you extend them. They store well and fold flat and come in a thin easily storing box.

They work fine, will probaly last two seasons I imagine. But didn't pay that much so fine with it. In fact I bought two earlier in the season at Bed, Bath and Beyond for the same price and the same type of manufacturing but I @ Amazon I got four for the same price. Could not see any difference. I will replace when these bite the dust.

easily broke

Its just ok, Made kind of shabby, but works for camping.

They are a little flimsy. And I was glad that i bought 2 sets, because 1 broke when I opened it. If you need a lot, and not going to use them often, for the price, they did the job!

Good for the price, but really poor quality. One of the tents broke on first use, I was able to jerry-rig it back together to work, but definitely frustrating. It was cheap so I probably won't bother with returning.I wouldn't recommend purchasing if you want something long lasting or of good quality, but if you just need it for an event or two, these would work for you.

Nice for picnics or eating outside. Pop them open gently as the wires are not very robust - still work, but I have one that is a little wonky.

These are pretty ingenious food covers, they pop up and back easily and don't take up a ton of space like the permanent ones. The mesh is very thin and the bottom edges are pulled tight when popped open, not the most durable but will last more than a few cookouts. Cleaning is out of the questions though, I'm sure you would tear it trying.

Some of the cover come apart easily

While these food covers are useful, they are so fragile that my 6 year old cannot open them without breaking them. Doesn't make her feel good and doesn't help me with the flies.

Very flimsy. Only 1 of the 4 worked and that will break soon.

Smaller than I expected

Very cheaply made. I ordered a total of 12 and 5 of them were junk right out of the box. They arrived the day before the big party so I just sucked it up and used what I could. Not worth the hassle to return for the few dollars they cost. So, I just took this one in the shorts.

They break when you open them and they don't sit flat

The items are not worth the purchase. It appears that any type of wind would blow them right off the food. There is nothing to hold them in place. Also, one of the food covers was broken when I received it yesterday because the little metal is so flimsy.

2 of them were broken out of the box, too cheap!

when set up there are small gaps under the edges of the nets. We had gotten these for fruit flies in those gaps made them useless.

I was very disappointed with this product. these covers were hard to open & jut about impossible to close They were advertised as folding up to take up very little space -- this does not happen.
