So far, it is working well, no complaints; my daughter's car is still in the driveway!It comes with 2 keys, not 3 as it is sometime advertised. I made sure I oiled the lock prior to using it, as weather conditions are rather harsh where we are, with a lot of humidity and salty air.Warning: It can lock even without the key...so do not loose or misplace the key before you lock it! My daughter's car is a Kia Picanto, and the lock fits well on the steering wheel; so far no marks of any sorts....will have to check this in the future and update the review if need be.Everything can be broken or forced/disarmed, if given enough time of course; but this sort of device is already a visual deterent and will surely slow down any potential thief!I guess, this is what will make the difference between my car being chosen as a target or not; rather than the one next to it, and this is all one can expect in the end!Good value for money it is.

Easy to use and easy on the mind.Twist the steering wheel to lock position, put on the Club in extended position, and walk away feeling relieved that there is something there to deter theft.It would also be great to have a tracking mechanism but that's more money with more complications. The Club is a good start.

Its a little rocky at first, in the sense that I had no clear knowledge of how it actually had to be set the correct way. Because the tiny image on the packaging is very limited. The product is extremely sturdy and durable I know its gonna be with me for a long long time. Its very pretty too if youre a girl with a weekness for car stuff likegadgets and gizmos.

I have an older model car that is often the target of thieves so I bought this club. I lost my indoor parking at my workplace so I now park on the street and wanted to have some theft protection. It's super easy to use. You can put it on without using the key, then taking it off you unlock it and pop it off.

Nothing to complain about here. The product is simple and feels very durable. The lock operates very smooth and has never gotten stuck or failed to lock.

This is the best. Don't bother with the cheaper knock-off types. The price is great ...definitely "looks" it's part and the color makes the club stand out when bad guys might be peering in the window. Of course from what I've read, it doesn't deter professionals but does the punks... which is a very good thing.

Bought this for my dad after my brothers car was stolen in NY. He uses it all the time now. It works well and gives a lot of peace of mind and confidence in street parking vehicles all the time in NYC.

It stopped my Honda Civic from being stolen.Very good product, would highly recommend to friends.I ended up buying 3 and gifting it to my friends who had theft problems in the past.

Works as it should and easy to use. It's gotta have a little wiggle to it to prevent the lock from sticking. Won't prevent a thief from smashing a window but will deterr them from stealing your vehicle.I have adjustable pedal in my f150. If you have adjustable pedals... you have to move them all the way up and the steering column all the way down. if you don't it is pointless to purchase this.Takes me about 30 to set and lock and about 5 seconds to remove.

Excellent product if you have an older vehicle that does not have an alarm system or if you just want that added form of protection on your vehicle. It keeps the steering wheel lock to the brake pedal so even if they are able to get into your vehicle they won't be able to go anywhere unless they break the lock.

So I live in a metro area, and my Jeep Liberty was stolen. Apparently all earlier model Jeeps are hot commodities because they are easy to steal. After I got it back, I purchased this and the The Club 1000 Original Club Steering Wheel Lock, Red. Sure enough, 6 months later my car was broken into again... but this time it was at least still there. Will it prevent your car from being broken into by s***head teenagers? No. Will it prevent said teenagers from stealing it? Yes.

Can't go wrong with one of these. Now a days when you think the alarm is good enough. Think again! Club it up. Yes it is a hassle but well worth it. You can put security cameras outside your house the works and at night or in the day they will strike. Club it and no one is going anywhere also don't have iPhones or iPad in view. Always take out your personals.

Although this isn't perfect, it still appears to be an actual alarm system light, as I placed it low on the dashboard, and at night only the flashing light is visible. The flash is slow enough to appear to be an alarm, unlike another brand I saw, which flashes far too fast. I assume that someone looking to break into a vehicle would rather go to a non alarmed one. The light is still working fine after several weeks, and I installed rechargeable batteries for when they stop working. For the price, it's great.

works as it should. the velcro was really crappy. it didnt even last a few hours before it peeled off the dash. no worries though, i already had some better stuff. No complaints

This device works as advertised. It is just the right size that it is not too big, but still clearly visible. The red light blinks on and off and is highly visible at night. I have had this product for over 3 months and have yet to have the need to change the batteries. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an inexpensive theft deterrent.

It's very well made and it does look like an alarm. Depending on how I park I put it on the front or back of my car. I just ordered a couple more so I always have one in the front and one in the back of my car, plus another one to put near my apartment door. I don't keep it on all the time but so far the battery has lasted a good amount of time. Nice decoy, for the price there's nothing to loose.

I love this theft deterrent/ warning decal. I was expecting the adhesive to be on the front of the decal label but the adhesive is on the back like a regular sticker which means you place this on the outside of the car window. Typically these types of labels are on the inside of the car. Well I just hope this last through the rain and car washes.

I work in a neighborhood with some of the highest reported car thefts in the state. These stickers have helped leave my car untouched for over 6 months now, while many of my car workers have had break-ins and thefts with their vehicles. I placed my stickers on the driver's and passenger's windows in the bottom right corner. Sure, a little bold in how I display the stickers on the vehicle, but hey... my car remains untouched in an extremely terrible neighborhood.(Will update my review if my car ever gets stolen, knock on wood.)

No issues whatsoever for my SUV club. It works as designed. I don't know if it'll ultimately work from a motivated car thief with a hacksaw, but if it slows him down long enough to decide to steal the other guy's car instead, I'm good with that. Plus, it's a nice weapon to grab if someone tries to car jack me or approach my truck as I'm loading groceries and I can't get to my gun for some reason.

I have owned Clubs for around thirty years. In that time, I have NEVER had any protected vehicle stolen (knock on wood). While thieves who want your vehicle, and are smart enough to find ways to defeat this unit, are certainly out there, I imagine my vehicles have never been high on their hit list, even though they were new when I bought them. Still, all but the most professional and skilled car/truck thieves will, most likely, lose interest in boosting your ride as soon as they see this unit on your steering wheel. Add in that most new steering wheels now are wired to the point that cutting them ruins a lot of the technology needed to operate the vehicles' cooler features, and you have a fairly good chance of getting a pass from car thieves, when you use this unit. This new Club also has a key system that is very unique. I doubt it can be easily picked. RECOMMENDED.

Works just as advertised. I've been using one of these for the past 10-plus years. And I already know of 5 separate occasions wherein my vehicle was broken into and my vehicle was never stole.I previously had another vehicle ripped-off right out of my front driveway and I've used this steering wheel lock ever since.It's truly an insignificant amount of money to spend to insure that your vehicle never gets stolen.I'd never be without it again!

Great quality! I can tell this club will surely last me a long time! I bought this with the steering wheel shield for my 1989 Chevy C1500. Perfect fit on the steering wheel. This won't stop thieves completely but it will make it harder on them to possibly rob my truck. This is a great purchase if you find car alarm systems a bit too expensive. I bought this since car alarm systems typically go $200+ and I needed a layer of security on my truck first. I will keep you guys updated on this product. Make sure you guys send the warranty information to Winner International if you are considering buying this product. This club is made with better quality than your typically cheap wanna be clubs at your local store. The keys are encrypted and you are given three keys only! So keep some of them in a nice safe place!

Haven't lost the car yet. Hope the bad guys don't decide to cut the steering wheel so they can get around this device.

Haven't had any problems with this, I use it on my 2014 Honda Civic! Just gets really hot from the keyhole and it does dent my steering wheel a tiny bit but it goes back to normal after about 5 minutes of having removed the club.

The key that locks this club is a bit wonky. I had to slide it out a bit with a neighbor in order to get the Club off my steering wheel, and it truly scared me thinking I couldn't get to work without a neighbor's help. Now that I'm more used to the key, it's not so scary, and the Club is a good deterrent to any thief.

Met my expectations for a basic club. The club will deter "joy riders" who only want to quickly steal a car, run it around, and destroy it. This is a good investment for your average owner.If one wants to eliminate the possibility of having your car stolen by professionals, then you need to go to multiple security systems.

Works as intended; red paint easily peeled off especially where it hooks onto the brake pedal. One or two reviewers said they were locked out by the club. For this reason I have to be cautious so when I use mine, I try not to hook or lock it too tightly. I haven't had a single issue as yet. It is very sturdy so I think it will last.

Works well will not stop someone from stealing your vehicle but it will slow them down I installed a hidden kill switch that won't stop a criminal but it will slow them down if they wanted they will get it just don't make it easy for them

this thing meets its purpose. my brake pedal is very well hold up.since my truck wont start if the brake is not pressed down it gives me some tranquility.also the steering wheel is hold fairly tight so it wont move.the only thin I don't like is the fact that the distance from the brake pedal to the wheel is fairly long.so I need to remove the black part from the red part in order to set the thing.but for sure I recommend this product.

For the price you can't complain much. It's a visible deterrent, which is why I got it. Gotta figure it's one more thing a would-be thief would have to deal with if they wanted to steal your car. That's one more thing that would make them want to move on to the next car. Do yourself a favor and take the keys to the lock WITH YOU. A lot of people leave them in the car and I'm sure thieves know that. If you're going to leave them in the car, hide them well. Don't put them in your glove or cup holder.

I love my truck and I have proudly given her the name "Red", and I have owned her since 1989 when I purchased Red brand spanking new. I have had an alarm put in her and that's always work with no problems, until! One night this last summer, some brazen individuals, tried to steal my Red from me. Don't get it wrong, Red is as Beautiful today as she was the first day we met. I have loved her dearly. Of course Red and I have had our ups and downs, but what good relationship doesn't (right). Anyway! Whoever the scoundrels were, broke Reds windows, destroyed her keyholes, and tore up her ignition pretty bad. I didn't care too much about the stuff they actually stole. I'm just glad Red wasn't taken from me (I shouldn't have gone on that trip). It gave me a big scare. I mean take my wife please but leave my Red alone. So after putting Red back together, as Beautiful and as sexy as ever, I wanted a little more extra protection. I had a new alarm put in her and for extra protection (you never know when you need it) I thought; Dr Hook would help protect my Beautiful Red a little more. I feel more comfortable now. Red is my Baby; and Dr Hook is going to help me feel secure, that nobody will take my Red from me.

This product does the trick and is realistic. However, living in the desert sun, it got so hot on the dash that the batteries fried and burst. Drats. I really like it. Maybe in another climate. I bought it after reading a blog from a former car thief who said he didn't waste his time as a criminal figuring out if a blinking "alarm" was real or fake, he just moved on to a car without one. Recommend but not in the desert.

Should have come with more velcro and I had to glue the velcro in place. But it lasts a long time on batteries and I never shut it off.

These are good quality tiny stickers to use as deterrents for vehicle theft. I am placing them on each window of my car. These work as a deterrent for any vehicle and serve to announce that there is LoJack/another anti-theft system installed. The quality seems great and the stickers appear as if they came with the car itself. I recommend these stickers and they shipped/arrived quickly. They are small but anyone attempting to break into the car will notice them and think twice. The look of these stickers is very much like any manufacturer stickers that come with vehicles- they look authentic and serious.

Looks real, but may fade color over time? I hope not.

I have owned this club for two or three years and all of a sudden I can't get the key all they way in to unlock it, took me over an out to finally unlock it, I won't put it back on, afreaid of no getting it off the next time.

Good product, I think clicks could be a little finer i.e. more notches to make it fit a little tighter.

Not as long as the first version but still a good deterrent.

Well I received the product before the promised delivery time. Build quality is very robust. Lock is quite good. But I agree with other people that is only a deterrent to prevent auto theft, as the steering can be cut open. Adding some other deterrents and preventive measures can help in preventing autuo theft.

Have a twenty year old version of this that was better designed. These newer ones (or the particular one received) can come apart into two pieces very easily, whereas the twenty-year old Club never does this. Also, even when the Club is extended and fully locked, we noticed that no matter which make or different style/shape of car steering wheel that it does work on, this current Club Lock design can technically be moved a little around the steering wheel. While the lock itself does not come out or off, the OLD CLUB version seems to really lock it in place. It seems to have to do with this newer lock design that allows the two ends to constantly move. Wish they kept the CLUB design AS-IS. Technically, it works, but the older CLUB lock seems to be a safer and sturdier design. Also, this does not work with certain newer cars that have steering wheels where the open spaces are not wide enough, or sometimes it's just a huge plastic body within the steering wheel. Test it first.

It seems to work. I still have my car but the plastic coating began to peal off before long.

it says universal fit for SUV however on my GX460 it provides almost no security. too small - i have to buy another one... otherwise i love it on a smaller cars.

It is ok but does nto prevent the steering wheel from being cut. Where I live I needed something, cars of being stolen I live in NYC.

The product itself is fine. It is a lot less annoying to take on and off than I thought it would be. There has been an increase in car thief in my neighborhood. The club gives me more piece of mind. When it arrived in the mail the bubble plastic was open on one end. I noticed that some of the paint was chipped before I took it out the plastic container. I was a little annoyed but not enough to send it back.

I figured for twelve bucks, and having an easy to steal 09' Jeep Patriot, I bought it. It could be 3" longer though.What I have to do now is wrap one piece around the brake pedal, the other piece around the steering wheel and try to wiggle the two together in the middle.It works - just a pain. My Patriot is not a massive SUV, just a step up from a compact. But for 12 bucks, it can save you a lot of headaches in the long run. If I drove every day - I'd find something else.

Bought it for my tractor when that vehicle is left in the field overnight and works fine. I don't know how long it would take to saw through the lower metal but highly practical to stop am impulse thief.

I have been using this for over a year on my trucks, which have manual transmission. 1st I used it on a 2005 Ford F-150, now I used it on a 2003 Dodge Ram. The concept is simple, lock your wheel then hook it to the clutch or brake pedal.If someone wants to cut the steering wheel they can, but for the price this will deter the casual, unprepared opportunistic thief.Now, for the bad, they key sticks. I have used WD-40 and the it still sticks. The lock seems to be very sensitive to tension in the rod, for example if the rod is very tight on brake & steering wheel (which is should be in theory) the lock won't turn. You have to wiggle it incessantly to get it to loosen the lock up. This is VERY annoying when you are in a hurry. I am concerned I may lock myself from using my own vehicle. This has happened repeatedly, so I can duplicate the issue. So keep that in mind.

Too big, if you don't put it in the center console area it's too obvious that it's fake.

So far, so good. The switch is more visible than I'd like, and they did a pretty terrible job of placing the velcro on the unit. But, it does reliably flash so far, and it was only a few bucks.

The stickers look real, the blinking tool is great for night time since it blends. However, it's pretty crappy quality and reflects the cheap price I suppose - the sticky tape fell off after 1 day and then the light switch to toggle it between on/off broke, so it only stays on permanently now. The battery has lasted so it's fine being on all the time, but it's definitely very cheaply made so don't expect anything of quality here.

Emphasis on the word mini in the description. I bought these for a $4000 trailer I was bringing cross country that I didn't want stolen and wasn't paying attention to the size when I bought them. Still better than nothing though and they are good quality.

The message on these stickers is an almost ideal deterrent, yet because they are only applied as a sticker outside the car, just not sure of it's effectiveness.

Rubber coating has repeatedly stuck to my leather wrap steering wheel and removed bonded patches from wheel. The finish on my steering wheel is now heavily damaged and it will continue to happen unless I cover the club before installing. Can't get keys made anywhere either, havta go to manufacturer.

it was a pain to set up and lock. maybe thats the charm of it as it would take a theif longer to unhook it.... if it was locked correctly!there's quite some chance that this can get locked incorrectly and then some theif could just wiggle it loose.yes it is a visual deterrent but the handle thats facing up is black? and the red is facing the brake pedal? i think it would be more visual if all of it was red. also the keys and lock seem rather cheap compared to the Click-it i got a decade ago from the same company.

cheap quality thin steel

Literally the day after I placed this on my vehicle, I came to find it laying in the pavement in pieces. If you have a real problem with theft, this in not the device you want.

This worked well for awhile. The lock opened easily and smoothly until yesterday. I went to unlock it and it was totally jammed (I tried all the usual remedies). I live in Las Vegas and it was 114 degrees yesterday and probably about 140 or 150 in the car, I can't help but think this had to be the reason for the jam. Perhaps there was some small plastic part in the lock mechanism that melted, I don't know but I wouldn't buy this if you live in a very hot climate.

ABSOLUTELY not for outdoor use. The locking mechanism is of VERY poor quality. Had two of these in use less than a month, with DAILY doses of graphite lubricant, locking mechanism failed. Fortunately, with less than 100 lbs of pressure, the two pieces separated with relative ease, and we we able to complete our tasks.

It is functional and came as described. I will give it 2 stars because the light being emitted is very dim.

I used this for a few months and it was fine, changed the batteries once or twice. Then one light quit working, a few months later the other quit working. Life of this was less than a year.

The tape doe not hold the unit to the windshield, they needed to provide better or more tape.The light cannot been seen in the day time, this device does not have enough power.

. . .Bought one of these 5 months ago and it stopped flashing after about 3 months. Got another 2 weeks ago and it stopped flashing yesterday. Nice, Bright Red light - if that's what you want - but FLASHER ?? - don't waste your time and money.

It stopped blinking after a few days. Now just a dim constant glow.

Quit working after four months. Light doesn't blink anymore. Certainly can't be perceived as an alarm system now. You get what you pay for as the old addage goes.

Thinking these would stick from the inside of the vehicle but they only are stickable from the outside. Defeats the purpose of a warning sticker. Anyone can walk by and pull it right off

The quality of the product was good and I have no doubt it would have lasted quite a while if they hadn't cut the steering wheel and removed it when they stole our van. Owned it less than a week before it disappeared.There are better ways to secure your vehicle, this one is just to easy for the bad guys to get past...

I've had a Club (regular) for many years. Worked fine. Just bought two of these new as an upgrade and because of their reputation. One stopped working not soon after a month of regular use. It was too late to return it to Amazon. Figured I would call the company and see what help was available. I left my name and number. No response at all. Partly my fault because I misread the warranty info on Amazon. The physical club warranty is for parts only. Pretty sure I would had had to pay for shipping to repair it. Since I never received a return call, it's just a thought. The actual warranty promoted in the description is for damage to your vehicle if it is stolen with the Club Lock in place. The registration form which comes with The Club that you have to mail (no online registration) requests all kinds of ancillary information, such as your income, auto insurance company, license plate number, and other otherwise personal info that should be kept confidential until needed, in my opinion. I forgot the time period restriction for the registration but you have to include an original receipt for the purchase - no copies. You can question the manufacturer - Winners International. I actually find it humorous to consider filing a warranty claim with them for vehicle theft. For what I paid for this item, I would at least have liked a call back from the company. Will be looking for alternatives. Hope this clarifies and helps when considering purchase.

i thought i would not have any problems with this product! but after installing it about 5 days in a row, the painted chrome is starting to flake off , and fall all over my black interior. but the locking mechanism works ok. thanks

I just got this in the mail and am returning it immediately. When I turn the key to the lock position, the rod still moves freely. Useless.

This warranty is utter BS. It says you need to submit it within 5 days of purchase? I got 2 of these for Christmas - they were purchased a couple weeks before. So I guess I can't get the warranty? That's fantastic. Now I have two pieces of metal and no back up. THANKS CLUB!

WARNING!! DO NOT BUY THIS CLUB!!!! I read the bad reviews first and many said the put it on an then it was locked on and could not remove. I figure the majority reviews were good so I like the dark blue because they are hard to find. It arrived today. Took family out to Olive Garden for a night out to eat. I TRIED THE CLUB OUT FIRST!! I extended it then unlocked it. Cool. We go inside to see people sitting on the floor and out the door a 1hr 30 min wait to eat. So we go back to the car and now on my brand new car i can't get this damn thing off!!! Tried every way possibe. Placing tension, removing tension while trying to wiggle the key. After 30 min off trying. A lock smith will run you anywhere from starting out at $100 up to$250. I had premier AAA membership and it covered a lock smith. Great! Except nearest lock smith is a hour out so total time sitting here will have been 2 hrs. DO NOT TAKE A CHANCE.

Here's my review: I purchased this on Oct 10. Yesterday I went out to my car, the club CANNOT be unlocked. I found the duplicate key - the club CANNOT be unlocked. I have no access to my car. Am I supposed to pay a locksmith to take it off? I have an unusable car. What now? What a nightmare.

I returned this item to Amazon. Could not remove the club from my steering wheel on my new car. Tried using all suggestions to remove it located on Club website and had to finally call in a locksmith to remove it so I could use the car ($110). Returned this particular club to Amazon and received a refund. I still had the club I used on my previous car (vintage year 2000) and it continues to work flawlessly.

It is actually a strong, easy to use lock. However, it can be defeated by cutting into the steering wheel thus easily removing the lock without touching it. The Pedal Jack is an absolute replacement that has four sets of teeth per lock that cannot be picked and is reinforced with 1in. thick cut resistant metal. The Club can supplement the Pedal Jack as marginal obstruction to theft.

its little hard to lock the thing but it is even SO MUCH HARDER AND TOUGHER to unlock it. I almost broke the key trying to turn to unlock this thing and it seems like it is almost impossible to unlock it once you lock it. Thank god I've tried it before I put it with my steering wheel on my car.. I would've been cutting some irons in my car to go to work.. I wouldn't recommend you buying this

Doesn't fit as advertised. Too short.

I bought this lock because I heard great things about it; and it was great for a few months. After a few months the lock no longer works because it doesn't do what it is suppose to and that is stay locked. It seems the locking mechanism has broken because now it can simply be pulled open and this is a huge problem for a steering wheel lock.

Switch must be pressed hard to activate flash. Remove pressure frm switch and the light stops completely.

Decals are the size of a half dollar coin: you'd need reading glasses to see them! Device "self stick" tape is on the battery cover, which means if you stick it, you can't remove it to change batteries. Overall a waste of money.

Save your money, the light stopped working after one week and it's not the batteries! It comes with one very small piece of Velcro which is sufficient to hold the weight of this device. It comes with two decals as well but if it only works for a week it's trash! Save your money

Switch did not work and battery clip was broke.

I just received it today and the light doesn`t work!! I put the batteries and i have to push the thing for the light to go ON.... bad experience for me!!

Very bad quality, stick form the exterior and it's very thick!

These are a sticker! I bought them thinking they were a decal, as mentioned in the title and they are not! I wanted to place one on the inside of my car window facing outward (like window "DECALS"!!!) and it it not possible to do this unless you want to use double-sided tape or something. The back of this is sticky, but if you want to put on the interior of a vehicle you will need to somehow make the other side sticky. I think it would be pointless to stick this on the outside of a window where it will be exposed to the elements and eventually fade/fall off. Poor choice of which side to make sticky in my opinion.

The package arrived today and it was not NEW as stated in my order. It was open without the original packaging and the inside was full of rust with deep scratches on the internal bar. It has no grease like the new ones typically come. The size fits my classic 17" steering wheel but I am not happy I paid for a new product and got a (possibly returned) used rusty product.

Had this for about one month used it 5 times and it broke. What a hunk of junk. Returned it.
