I ordered theses Gel 7's for my husband. They came in an Asics box and were a true size 13. He had worn them about 6 times to play pickleball for about three hours at a time. They required no break in period and feel great. He said the arch support and cushioning were a plus and were great for starting and stopping as well as lateral movements during the game. Traction is good. Worn on inside court primarily. He has had a knee replacement and his knee feels good as well after wearing these shoes. He would recommend.

Bought them for table tennis, but haven't had a chance to play with them on yet. I have broken them in by wearing them around the house. I wear Asics running shoes all the time, so these size 11's fit as expected. They seem to have good breathability and good lateral support, along with the gum sole for traction. I wanted to get the gel rocket 7 as they are being phased out, replaced by the gel rocket 8 which has really generic styling. Had to pay full price, but hopefully they will last a while, since they will only be used for TT.

I'm a pretty big guy (~250lbs) and play hard, so my shoes take a lot of abuse. I've been using these for the last ~5months playing racquetball for ~3-5hrs per week, and the a holding up just fine. Most court shoes I have blow out just behind my small toe (from quick stops and cutting side to side in the court). The sole is sticky and isn't wearing out too fast. I also have high arches, and these shoes fit my feet perfectly without the need for additional inserts. Super pleased, I'll be buying another pair after I've trashed these. I hope Asics keeps making them.

Excellent volleyball shoes for the money. This is my 3rd pair of Gel-Rocket shoes and first time ordering online since the local stores don't carry volleyball shoes anymore. It's very light and grips well, and I can jump higher with confidence.

I have been using Gel-Rocket shoes for Ping Pong play for 5 years. I am on my 4th pair and you can't really beat the quality for the price. Typical ping pong shoes have very little support, that is why I prefer volley ball shoes and this particular model/series.Red and black combo matches nicely with my training gear and looks great on the court.

I have never worn Volleyball shoes before and was worried they would not work out for my workouts. After seeing a recent review indicating the shoes worked for a P90X3 workout, the very workout I was doing at the time, I decided to give them a try. These shoes are the best workout shoe I have ever worn, they are light as a feather and provide all the stability needed to support a P90X3 type workout i.e. running and jumping etc. My previous shoe was a Nike Monarch IV which had great support, but was very heavy and compared to the Gel Rocket 7, very clunky. I have used the shoe for about a month and they are outstanding!

I exercise (Jazzercise) 6-7 days a week, so I need a good, solid shoe with great cushion, support & lateral movement AND this shoe fits the bill! This is the second pair I've ordered and will likely order my third pair in the next couple months. I also use OTC orthotic insoles (Pure Stride) in my shoes for additional support, as I have flat feet. The insoles that come with just about any pair of athletic shoes are quite useless. Here's to happy, healthy feet!

Even though they are called volleyball shoes, these shoes are perfect for Zumba and other cardio dance type classes. I have been buying them for several years and I always keep two pair on hand and rotate them. I am a fitness instructor so one pair lasts me about 6 months. This way, I buy two pair a year and it works great. I gave them 5 stars even though I said they didn't have good arch support because no shoe has the arch support I need. I pronate quite a bit so I have to remove the inserts that come with the shoes and use my own orthotics. I do this with every shoe I wear. My feet run narrow so by checking "somewhat narrow", that's a positive for me. I have a lot of trouble finding shoes that have a snug enough fit at the heel and these are perfect.

The colors are bright and amazing. Loving this shoe! The shoe fit is true to size. I've been buying asiacs for a while now because the fit is always true to size and they are super comfortable. Have yet to get blisters on my heels like I have gotten from breaking other brands in.

After falling twice while wearing running shoes to play Pickleball, I decided I needed a pair of lateral moving shoes. I checked out a lot of shoes and decided on these since I have been an Asics fan through 25 years of running. These shoes did not disappoint me. The court is an indoor basketball floor. I move easily on the court now and have no issues with moving in any direction. I also like the colors of the shoes. I normally wear a size 7 in regular shoes but buy size 8 in my athletic shoes because of the socks I wear. My foot is the normal 3 1/2 inch in width and 9 1/4 in length. I have a high arch and these shoes are adequate for that. These are comfortable court shoes, and I highly recommend them.

Love this shoe! I needed a shoe for Pickleball as all my other shoes were forward motion (running, walking). This shoe does the trick and is very attractive. I may order the other colors as well.

i love my asics...i do alot of walking at work and after work with dog....need a good shoe for feet and back....haven't bought any other brand for years...love the wild colors...get lots of complements....just got this particular one seems a little narrow but gonna break these bad babies in....:)...actually i do go to chiropractor now and again and these are recommended in his office...just saying its about time us big kids got fun multi-colored shoes

It's rare that I purchase shoes without trying on first. In this case the size, fit and looks are fine; however, the right shoe has a very slight, but noticeable, bulge to the outside.. Were it not for that, I would consider them a 5! Had I tried them on first I would have put them back and kept looking.

Very happy with this shoe. I use it for pickleball, needed an indoor court shoe and these work great. They were also the most reasonably priced of the top rated shoes. If they came with a replaceable insole for orthotics I would give them a five. They are lightweight and comfortable, arch support is good. I prefer a shoe built on a slightly wider last (D) with good toe room and these are quite satisfactory.

This shoe works quite well for my intended purpose- Racquetball. Only thing that I have to do while it "breaks in", is retie them at least once during an hour of play, because they warm, and loosen up. Oh, and when I first put them on, their support feels a little bit excessive, but once I warm up/play in them, they are great. Solid purchase.

UPDATE:I am on my fifth pair. As long as the price does not change and they continue to last six months I will probably just continue buying these good shoes.UPDATE:I am now on my fourth pair of these shoes. They fit well, give me good grip and support. They are not too expensive. And, now I know that they will last between 5 and 6 months before the soles wears out. I play or drill for about eight hours a week, squash.ORIGINAL REVIEW:They are mostly comfortable. This is my second pair. They are narrow around the front, squishing my pinky toe. I will wear heavy socks to stretch them out a bit.Update: they wear out rather quickly.I have had these shoes for 3.5 months and they have worn out on the sole and the toes where the sole connects to the top of the foot. I use them only for squash. I put them on and take them off at the gym, so they've never seen cement. I calculated that they have gotten about 95 hours of use. I do not know what is the expected lifetime for squash shoes. But, these seems a little low. Otherwise, the tops and insides are in perfect condition. Maybe these are better off for sports other than squash.

These are great court shoes for racquetball. I only gave 4 stars because ASICS doesn't produce them in wide and because I am flat footed and arch support does cause pain after about 3 or 4 games. Thus, the shoe has excellent arch support, I just don't have arches to support. I wear a 10.5 EE in NewBalance. Ordered an 11D through Amazon. I noted that this product fit as expected, but only as expected because of the many reviews I read online saying that they fit a little wider than the average shoe. Note: I did purchase a half size larger than my size. Also, based on another reviewer's comments I researched alternative lacing patterns to accommodate a wider toe box. The construction seems solid. I'll update this review if and when my little toe goes through the shoe outers.

I purchased these shoes for volleyball. I am an outside hitter and do leagues twice a week. These shoes exceeded my expectations. They stick amazingly to the floor. When doing my hitting approach I feel they help me explode off the ground better compared to what I was wearing before. They also are very comfortable and provide good shock relef. I recommend these for anyone looking for shoes for volleyball.

Love the colors and it arrived exactly as it looks on the site, incase you're wondering if the colors are off. They aren't. Only thing is it is a volleyball shoe, not a walking shoe. so my feet feel little weird when I am just going for a walk. Not too bad, but just weird. But comfortable non-the-less. And very good when I go to the gym with them. They do get a lot of stares when I go down the block. and they go with almost everything in my closet. very fun shoe.

These shoes are ultra cute, but they were too big! I normally wear a ten and these are loose. I can't do "mountain climbs" with these at the gym because they'll come right off. So I just wear them for the aesthetic. LOL Also, that turquoise on the toe? It's lacey. Which I've never seen on a shoe before, so super femmy shoe, so if you're not into that, be forewarned.

Very comfortable! I have 2 problems.. 1st if you have wide feet order wide. I have wide feet so I kinda stretched tge sides. 2nd I'm a cna I give showers they're is vents in the bottom of the shoe which let's the water in right to you're sock. Other than that they hold up well for all the miles I put on them. I personally like the asics volleyball shoes with the thicker bottom I've bought several pairs

Wear these shoes at the Gym, they are comfortable and I love the colors.

I wear a size 7 in most shoes and a 7 fit perfect in these shoes as well. I take cardio kickboxing classes and step aerobics classes and needed shoes that would be shock absorbing and good for the side to side movement involved in these classes. Feet still hurt a little during kickboxing but are much better than other shoes. I have not tried wearing shoes all day yet.I would definitely recommend these shoes.

I play on a volleyball league twice a week and really like this shoe. It had great grips and my foot feels supported while I play. I've played in them for about 10-12 days now and they're still a little snug when I wear a thicker sock, but overall it's a great shoe that looks fun.

The size I usually wear I ordered but was way too small for me. If you're looking at this shoe, go with at least half to full size bigger. The shoe was very stiff and will need breaking in. Good looking shoe but I had to return.

First off these things run small and narrow as I wear in 11D and I had to step up to an 11.5. Secondly, these shoes offer absolutely zero internal arch support which I need to play racquetball which is why I purchased them. My plantar fasciitis went off wearing these so I ripped the factory inserts out and replaced with blue Powersteps. I was shocked at the inserts provided by Asics as they are flat and only 1/8 " thick front to back. If you buy these you're buying them with zero support included so be warned. I gave them a generous three stars because the bottoms do give good Traction in a wood court and they seem well-built otherwise.

I've purchased Asics before and am a huge fan of the shoe. I ordered this new pair to replace a worn pair. I ordered same size. Got them in and too small/tight especially in the toes. Did return which cost me a few extra bucks for shipping and received a 1/2 size bigger. I was surprised there wasn't more toe room. I'm making due with them but not completely satisfied. I went from a 11 1/2 to 12.

Yes - great looking shoews, yes - bottom looks great for Indoor...but.. NOT for Wide feet. Pinkie hurts in them.If you have Wide feet, consider these - Harrow Vortex Men's Indoor Court Shoe (White/Grey) (12) - great looking, light, comfortable.

Very good looking shoe, but not very comfortable to wear. After a couple of days it felt like my Achilles was pulled. I tried them on several occasions and the same thing happened each time. I cannot blame it on the shoes but this is the only shoes that this has ever occurred with. I LOVE Asics shoes but I would never buy this type of shoe again.PS; I still will buy Asics shoes but it will be running shoes from now on.

True to the company's reputation, a comfortable shoe with decent shock absorption, a little on the heavier side, not much arch support and do not match up to the Mizuno's I had earlier. But the Mizuno cost almost twice as much. For the price, not a bad purchase.

I've worn ASICS for years to do aerobics 4 times a week. Love the look of these but they are noticeable different than others. I have an average width foot & they are quite narrow across the top right above my toes. Have worn about 4 times now hoping to "break-in" but not much change.

These shoes are super fun to look at, but not to wear. They are very flat, with little/no arch support, and the soles are very rigid. As other reviewers noted, they're probably best suited for weightlifting or some stationary type work outs. The sole was not flexible, which made moving around awkward. I got these for Zumba, which some reviewers recommended, however, I would not, mostly due to the stiffness of the shoe. They seem like nice quality, and the "atlantis" color is so fun, but not right for my purpose, which is why I went with 3 stars.BTW, I went with a Ryka: Grafik shoe for Zumba and am much happier with that!

I really like the color/style of these shoes. They are so colorful pretty & girly. The only thing I don't like is the shiny black trim. *In time I'm sure it'll dull. I should've maybe gone up a size since I have wide feet. Ive had asics before it's not horrible like I can't wear them but, the toe box is a bit narrow. I think after I break them in they will be fine. I walk a lot during my 5hr. work shift about 10k steps min. They are supportive & fit my needs nicely. Also, the "lace" look of the toe box is a nice ventilation/circulation. Nice touch! All in all decent shoes!

Like style and seemed comfy but too tight over arch. And they bend and pinch just behind the toes in front of the arch it's too bad because I really liked the color and style and tread of this shoe

Not as much support as other Asics

These shoes were a disappointment. I've worn ASICS before and have always been pleased - they seem made for my feet. But these shoes don't feel contoured to my foot, and feel too elongated and flat, yet I know the sizing is correct. Weird and hard to explain. Having said that, these shoes are of high quality and instead of wearing them for exercise, they'll work as my new knock-around shoes.

Liked the shoe for as long as it lasted. I play about once to twice a week and it only lasted around a year. I'll probably look elsewhere for my next racquetball shoe.

I currently wear another model of Asics of volleyball shoes and I ordered the same size. However, when these came, they were too big. My foot was sliding in them.I don't understand. Why are the sizes so different within Asics' own models?

Aren't as nice as they look in the picture, clearly visible that are cheaper than most volleyball models

These shoes were far to narrow for my feet which are 11 4E, despite reading reviews that said they were a generous fit.

The shoes fit but the insole felt weird when I tried them on. Despite the feeling of the insole, I played a 2 hour session of volleyball and midway through my feet were killing me. I bought court shoes for a better grip on the indoor court over my normal running sneakers but the pain these caused me to return them. I normally wear Nike and New Balance shoes so I guess brand makes a difference.

While they are comfortable, they are not good for flat feet. I had to take out the insole and buy a high arch support, but then that caused the sneaker to rip a little after about a week of using it. They also run a little big in size.

Comfort level wasn't what I expected.

These shoes are nice looking but offer no support at all. I've tried wearing these for walking, jogging, and cardio exercise. And every time, my feet and legs cramped during and were sore afterwards. That does not happen with my Nike shoes.

I teach Zumba on a wooden dance floor and was expecting these to be wonderful as volleyball is also on a similar floor and the players make similar movements (jumping, side to side moves etc) and these would have been amazing...but they were narrow in the toes area and put a hard pressure point on the side of my feet. I checked for "wide" size in these and they didn't have them. Had they been a little wider like my other Asics (even though those weren't wide size), they'd have been amazing.

The shoes did not fit across just back of the toes so when I walk it pinches. It does not seem like they will 'wear in' as it is in a place where the shoe is tightly made. I have tried pulling with all my strength to loosen it but to no avail. I would not have bought the shoes had I known it would be a tight fit. They are long enough but not wide enough. It's always risky buying online where you can't try shoes on!

The quality of Asics has truly degraded. I bought a pair almost three years back, and used them consistently Monday-Friday for indoor volleyball. I bought a pair recently and in under three months, the side of the right shoe has already ripped.For $70 you would imagine the shoe would last at least half a year. It's also disappointing since I'm not even playing 5 days a week anymore, only a sheer 3 times per week.

Asics Men's Gel-Rocket 7 Indoor Court Shoe, Silver/Onyx/Neon Yellow, 9.5 M USThis is the second time I am buying the same shoe from Amazon and I am extremely disappointed with the quality. On both occasions the toe end of the shoe frayed within a couple of months and 3 months out it was completely unusable.I bought a 2nd pair in Nov and started using the shoe in Jan 2017 and as you can see from the picture (the pair on the right), the toe region of the shoe has frayed yet again and isn't giving me any grip anymore. That's about $130 down the drain for both shoes. Can I get a refund?Otherwise, the shoe fits just fine and is comfortable enough (does take some breaking into though). Nothing to write home about.

Tried to go up a full size to get some extra width to no avail, so wide footers, look elsewhere.

shoes are not that comfortable in the front and colors look tacky, very narrow, amazon also took 7 days before sending out and was charged sales tax even though no store in our state, no point in ordering from amazon anymore

Part of the sole detached after 5 or 6 matches - all on an indoor squash court. Poor quality.

Size 9 is my perfect shoe size. I never have any problems. So I can't imagine why those shoes numbed my toes at a men's size 9. The front of the shoe is so narrow that after a few minutes of wearing them my toes went numb. I just assume they are about a half size off - meaning they run small, real small, because I never need a 9.5 though in some cases an 8.5 might work for me. In reading the reviews someone made an interesting assessment after encountering the same issue, that they might be women's volleyball shoes sized up into men's sizes but not modified for the wider front of men's feet. Either way, these are useless and a waste of my time having to order, send back and now write this review to warn others of the issue. Back to the drawing board...

I love ASICS but this pair hurts your feet.

I got mine (in a size 8) today and am *so* disappointed. They are wider at the front and looser in the heel ~ total disaster for squash because I am uncomfortable walking in them let alone running across a squash court! I am a loyal Asics fan but this pair made in Vietnam are a let down.

I returned them as beautiful as they are. I had bought them as a present to myself once I lost weight. But the materials are hard as rocks! My foot stayed in the shoes less than 10 seconds and they went back to Amazon the next day! I found something much more comfortable I get to wear eventually.
