Good conversion of the PC version to console
September 30, 2017
Good conversion of the PC version to console. Kid (6-year old) loves it. Don't let the pixelated graphics fool you ; this game is the ultimate sandbox, offering a canvas onto which anything can be created. Quite a bit of DLC available as well to add some flavor to your worlds. Highly recommended.
Simple game, lots of fun, great for bonding!

This game has been something me and my kids look forward to spending time together while playing this game. It encourages problem solving and being creative and we all have fun playing.
Bought this for my 6 year old and he loves it!

My 6 year old is able to figure out most of the game (although I've stepped in to help once or twice) we both love this game!@
Huge Improvement

Great improvement with options and gameplay. Graphics are much better and the topography has a vast amount of options as well.

I bought this for my younger and he absolutely loves it! They enjoy it more than other christmas gifts they received! He plays it nonstop. It's great because it has an offline multiplayer mode so my younger siblings can all play together.

Great game. I use to spend hours building houses with legos until I ran out of blocks to build with. Now with minecraft I have unlimited blocks. Great for any kid or adult that likes building with legos.

Better than most Razer headsets
February 12, 2017
This is probably my favorite headset I have ever owned. I have always considered Razer headsets to be a superior product, which are the headsets I have owned in the past. However, this headset trumps my past equipment. The design is very sleek while being very comfortable. The headset makes room for your ears to help prevent the feeling of your head being pushed in from both sides. The head support that rests on top of the head is comfortable and hasn't given me a headache yet.Every function is located on the headset itself so there is no external controls or wire to deal with. The buttons are seamless and are well placed for easy access. The dual mics are handy too. I feel the way it works is one sends your voice to others listening and the other sends it to you so that you can hear you volume and what everyone else can hear coming from your end. This feature can be turned off if it is not something you prefer. The sound is great so far. I have not listened to music or a movie or had the game sound run through the ear phones just yet but from what I'm hearing it's sounds goodThe only complaint I have is the panels on the band at each end; they can be removed. I believe that they were made like this so that consumers could customize them, but really it just slips off when you are trying to adjust the ear pieces. Plus, I have searched for designer replacements for those panels and hardly anyone makes them so the choices are very, very slim. I think I found 2 that were the same design just different colors. I may just permanently glue these pieces in so they do not move at all.Overall, this is a great product for the price.
Fantastic Headset
October 21, 2016
This is probably the best gaming headset I've had. This is my second one that I have bought. I'll go ahead and say something negative about this product because it is the only real negative I've had with this headset and that is that the hinges that allow the ear cups to fold in can be broken if you're not careful. If you treat it with care, you shouldn't have any issues, but if you drop it or sling it open, you may break the plastic hinges that hold it together. Other than that one negative, it is a fantastic headset. The mic quality is clear, the batter life is a good 8-ish hours, the bluetooth range of it is about 20ft, and the sound quality is superb. If the batter dies for whatever reason, it comes with a 3.5mm jack cord that you can plug into your headset and controller to continue gaming without a charge on the headset. However, my friends have noted that once I swap to the 3.5mm jack that my mic quality does go down a bit and I have noticed that the audio quality does sound a little more flat. While on the topic of the 3.5mm jack, you can also use this to plug it into your other devices to use as headphones which in my experience work extremely well as normal headphones for listening to music. One last point I'd like to make is that this headset is also compatible for use on your computer. It's as simple as plugging your wireless adapter into a USB slot and letting the driver install. I use it on my computer all the time for gaming and in game voice chat.TL;DRExcellent headset that I highly recommend.
My new favorite headset.

Flawless sound quality. I have been a Turtle Beach fan for several headsets. The problem with turtle beach is when using chat for PS4 you need to teather your headset to the controller. The playstaion headset is truly wireless. They are sleek and comfortable and fold up nicely for storage next to the PS4.I also like that it doesn't have a boom mic. Friends can tell the difference in the chat infact they say these sound better. They have additional apps you can download to customize your sound preference. These cost 1/2 as much as a top of the line set of turtle beach headsets. These are a great headset for under $100Below are my rankings compared to TurtleBeach PX4Sound Quality 10/10Comfort 10/10Cost 10/10Adjustability 10/10Setup 10/10Battery Life 8/10 ** These last about 4 hours where as the TurtleBeach PX4 would last about 15 hours
Quality sound at a reasonable price point
January 19, 2016
After having the Klipsch KG-300 wireless headset for about two years (give or take), I've switched to these. I thoroughly read the reviews and found that I need to treat them with care due to the plastic hinge breakage problem. I can see how it may be a problem, but so far I haven't experienced anything that would lead me to believe it will become one, especially since I'm usually very good at taking care of my electronics.PROs:- Rechargeable battery via USB- Playstation (PSN) app to load EQ settings for some games or game genre's- Intuitive controls with tactile feedback (i.e. you don't have to take them off to adjust settings like volume or mute)- Virtual 7.1 surround sound- Excellent sound quality and volume levels (e.g. - Rainbow Six: Siege - I can hear footsteps to my right and left and can tell if they are behind me or in front of me)- Battery life (I've gone for 8 hours without it going dead at fairly high volume)- Can connect two to PS4 for separate users using separate sound outputCONs:- USB cable provided is way too short (like 10 inches give or take)- Plastic design could lead to hinge failure if you are rough on itOverall:Well worth the money for sound quality and volume. Take care of it and I don't see why it wouldn't last for years. I'd gladly pay this price for this quality of an item.
Top notch headset for gaming
August 8, 2015
Great headset for the price. I currently have a Turtle Beach Black Ops 2 Earforce Tango headset and it's great albeit a little pricey. I picked these up as a backup pair or ones to take with me when traveling. The fit of these are great. After about an hour or so my Tangos tend to hurt my ears but with these, I can play 2-3 hours easily without any discomfort. Overall fit is nice and not too tight or loose. The fact these fold up is a nice little touch too. The sound on these is pretty impressive. Almost on par with my Tango's if not better. Battery life is pretty solid too. I can get about 6-7 hours out of it. Charge time is fast though. After an hour or so it'll get to full charge. The fact this headset only cost $80 is a pretty sweet deal. The VSS (Virtual Surround Sound) is very nice. You can plug it into your MP3 player or phone and listen to music. Doesn't clutter up your setup that much since all you need to do is plug in the USB receiver and that's it.Only major drawback with this headset is the charge cable. Not sure why it's 6 inches long but it should be considerably longer than that for charge a use functionality. My major issue with this headset is the Sound/Chat volume switch. While it's supposed to allow you to control how loud the chat/sound from the game is, it's not all that effective. You basically are forced to choose between really loud game sound or really loud chat. There is no good in between here which is kind of irritating. I use this headset for playing Destiny and there is preset available for it with the companion app from the Playstation Store. This helps make up for the sound issue.Overall, really dig this headset and hoping they holdup for awhile.

Bought for my boyfriend. The house is no longer filled with gunshots and police sirens. No more military comands followed by loud bangs. No longer do I wake up at 2am from the sound of a hooker's final scream or a tractor trailer truck exploding. There are no more voices of people who are simultaneously in my living room and South Carolina.A+ product. Highly recommended!

Wish they had Bluetooth...
July 9, 2017
I use these for my work and everyone says they sound great. I've docked a star because they are not Bluetooth, and require a dongle to function. I know this is to support the surround sound profile of the PS4, but it would have been a nice bonus to use these with my phone or watch at the gym. They seem to go on sale often, and if you can get them cheaper, they are great!
I love this headset
May 21, 2017
I love this headset. Wireless, comfortable, good sound quality, and NO MICROPHONE STICKING OUT but still great mic quality. The problem is that they break. My second set just broke. There are four small pieces of plastic holding either end of the two metal pins where the headset folds. They are by far and away the weakest part of these headphones, and they will break in time. Same thing happened to my first set. I've ordered a set of Playstation platinum headphones to replace these, and I'm desperately hoping they don't have a similar problem. I want these to work so badly, because I love everything about them, but the second time breaking is just getting too expensive.
Great Headset
June 22, 2016
These sound awesome. I love that the mic is built in and mutable. I haven't had any issue with them and enjoy using them late at night so I don't disturb anyone. I knocked of 1 start for two reasons 1) the battery life could be better. It seems like I charge it every third of forth night of use and I don't play that long (maybe 1.5 hrs in a sitting). So I guess I get somewhere between 4 to 6 hours on a charge. That's just a guess, but I always think, "didn't I just charge these?" 2) I was under the impression that these were wireless through the PS4 built-in bluetooth. That is not the case as it comes with a USB dongle that needs to be plugged in the front of the PS4. This leaves me wishing about a USB port on the back of PS4, but really I just wish I didn't have to plug in a dongle every time I wanted to use these. And you might think "well why don't you leave it plugged in all the time then?" Well, since there are only 2 port of the PS4, you'll need those ports if you want to charge your controller and headset at the same time. This is just a petty grip on my part.Other than that, these sound great and work seamlessly with the PS4.
You can almost game with your eyes closed(but probably shouldn't)

TL:DR If you don't have a PS4 compatible headset(except that crappy one ear thing my dogs immediately ate) then yes, totally get these.I've waited about a month to write my review since I ran into a bunch of problems with this headset(PC) that ended up not having anything to do with the headset at all.Okay so here goes. The headset at the time of purchase was under 80 bucks. A wireless headset with 7.1 surround sound for under 80 bucks. I thought it was too good to be true but went ahead and purchased these based on reviews from many sources. My first impression was, "Whoa..."I've been using a Bluetooth headset with regular surround sound. They were 30 bucks and I knew exactly what I was getting when I purchased them. They were great for PC gaming but they are incompatible with my PS4.I plugged the dongle to these in and it immediately synced up and integrated into the PS4 popup menu(battery, mic, headset, surround sound icons). I log into Destiny:The Taken King and jump to the Dreadnaut and am blown away. Literally. There was a Cabal ship leaving the area that took a pot shot at me. I can hear everything. I mean everything. I didn't know that chests make their own noise, that resources have their own unique sounds, that gunfire that is happening in the distance can sound far away and not just quieter, the quiet pathetic whimper of the enemy right before they expire...IT'S BEEEAAUUUUUTIFUUULLLLL!!!! HAHAHAHAHAH!! HahHAhAHhaHAhahHAhHAHAHHAHA!Pros:Wireless6+hour battery lifeCan use while charging7.1 Surround soundDownloadable sound profiles(PS4)Dedicated controls for volume, game/chat volume, surround on/off, mute, two sound profiles via switchCan use with PCGood micLarge cups fit over large earsComfortable with bulky plastic glasses onThe completely drown out your gf/bf husband/wifeYou can pretend they are a tiny person giving you the hugs you missed as a childLess than 100 bucksCons:They are a little bit heavy/clumsy and can slide around your head but I quickly got used to themThe cups tend to get hot after a while so remember to adjust them once in a while to avoid swamp earThe construction feels cheap but I suppose they had to cut corners somewhereThey wont lend you money(like ever)Regarding the headset problems I mentioned earlier:I ran into the snap crackle stutter problem some people have complained about on the internet on my PC. I've not had one problem when connected to my PS4. I almost returned these immediately after unboxing(some weirdos call this "opening") them and I am so glad that I did a little troubleshooting instead. I have a gaming laptop that I semi-built myself. It has an Haswell i7, a Geforce GTX850m and 16 GB of ram. I have everything on SSD drives and this thing handles anything thrown at it. So when I started getting stutter crackle problems I was like, "WTF?" I tried changing my routers channel, I killed processes. I ripped my hair out. I said a prayer to RNGesus. No solution, Turns out the culprit was GameScannerService.exe which is a useless piece of bloatware that everyone who has installed Razer software on their PC has running. To disable it simple go to Task manager->services->[OpenServices] button -> find Razer Game Scanner on the list ->doubleclick -> Startup type-> set to disabled. (Thank you dark_skeleton). Don't furget to kill it in the running processes if you haven't restarted your computer. As a further precaution I suggest that no one ever buy from Razer. Their products are fraught with problems and their support is unsupporty.Thank you for taking the time to read my review. I hope it is helpful and anyone that has any questions or problems with their headset feel free to leave your question in the comments and I will do my best to help you out.
Great features but uncomfortable during heavy use
March 23, 2016
I had been using a modified Turtle Beach Z22 plugged directly into the PS4 Controller for years and was able to get hours of use without any discomfort. I'm no audiophile but to me it sounded just fine. I decided I needed to treat myself when The Division came out so I listened to my friends and purchased the PS Gold Headset. I was impressed with the features and greatly appreciated having the option to mute myself, mix the volume of chat vs. game sound, and mix the volume of my own voice/surroundings with the game sound if I wanted it. The setup was dead simple and I was very impressed with the ease of setup. I struggled a bit with getting the settings right since I wasn't used to having so many options. My excitement waned a bit after hours of playing when the headset became uncomfortable. My head is large so I appreciated the fit at first, but the padding had a tendency to slip on my hair and the ear cups are not nearly deep enough to accommodate my ears. I would say for a casual hour or so, the headset is great. For all-nighters this headset doesn't quite meet my expectations. The battery never ran out on me, but I don't think you could expect beyond 6-8 hours of use. After two weeks of use I have gone back to my Turtle Beach Z22.
Sound good with a couple of faults but definitely nice for everyone else in the room.
January 31, 2016
Overall these are pretty good headphones for gaming. The sound is clear and good. They are also quite comfortable which is nice when you're wearing them for a few hours at a time. The emulated surround sound works fairly well and while it will not replace a solid, true, 5.1 it is a reasonable compromise if you need to contain the sound to just yourself. They are larger than I had expected but not overly heavily and I don't notice them after a little while of game time. The companion app is nice as well. It will allow you to change sound profiles or select a sound profile for a specific game (if available). This seems to make only a minor difference but still nice to have.My biggest complaint with these headphones is the maintaining a connection. While plugging into the headphone jack on the controller I was able to move around a decent distance. These headphones aren't so great at keeping the connection. If I move out of line of sight the connection drops. It is quick to connect back again but unfortunately the fridge isn't that close the PlayStation so the sound drops when I go to get another drink. The other complaint is the game sound to chat ratio. It is good that the headphones volume selector can alter the ratio easily but I haven't found a great middle of the road yet. Right now, I give priority to the party but if I'm playing single player and a cutscene comes up I have to resort to asking a friend to be quiet until it's over or adjust it and miss anything said by the party.I would recommend these to keep the sound to yourself and they really help if other people are in the room and uninterested in the game.

A great PC game, but a noticeably unfinished Playstation 4 game.
June 10, 2015
The interface for inviting friends is relatively clunky, there is no server infrastructure for online play (when you create a world and invite friends, your Playstation 4 is acting as the game server), and if you kick a friend, they're not allowed to rejoin until you close and reopen the game.Worlds are stored on your console. This means that a friend cannot play in your world unless you are online also playing in that world. The Playstation 4 version lags several steps behind the PC version.

Disappointing
May 16, 2017
This isn't my first wireless surround gaming headset. I have a pair of Turtle Beach XP400 that sound fantastic, actually has a surround sound effect, and have a 9 hour battery life. In comparison the Sony has a less convincing surround sound, more like a sound expander, and the battery lasts half as long. It's comfortable, but hot. I've tried the different settings with the app on the PS4, meh. I guess I'd like them better if I hadn't used the xp400. But truthfully, while they do have some nice features like mixing the level of chat vs game, mic in the headset vs coming down on a wire, adjustable for hearing your voice in the headset, it lacks the ability to connect to your phone to take calls, another feature of the xp400.

October 20, 2016
Item does not work well. Audio quality is OK but not warranting of the price. My friends told me that the microphone quality sounds like I am speaking into a can or a glass beaker. They could only hear me well if I was almost shouting. The $30 Tritton Kama headset was much better in both aspects. I also think the Trittons were much more comfortable. The ear cups on these are harder, rougher, and huge. They don't noise cancel at all, even just from the shape because they're so dang big and the cushions are hard enough that it can't sit flush to my head. When I move the headset or touch it all I hear every touch and movement amplified through the plastic. I did not have this problem with the Trittons, and I don't have this problem with my Sol Republic headphones. I'd use those but the mic doesn't work with the PS4/DS4.The surround sound is also a myth. I didn't see that happen at all. I wouldn't even say these are stereo.I didn't test to see if the audio quality was any better using them wired.I agree with what other reviewers said about the plastic hinges. Immediately when taking the headset out of the package that the plastic they used was the cheapest Sony could find. The other plastic on the headset seems much stronger. No idea why they skimped quality on such a small piece of material. I'm returning this item to buy something better. Maybe Trittons or Astros with a boom mic so I don't have to yell for it to reach the mic.In my opinion, don't waste your time.
Love the sound, hate the construction.
October 19, 2016
For the money ($100, $75ish if have prime) The sound quality of the 7.1 surround sound is great. Sony is very proprietary in its setup and so it's the only headset where the mute button actually works and you can be truly wireless without plugging into the controller. You can adjust the balance between the game and party chat as well. That's just not possible with many 3rd party headsets and end up having to adjust through the menus on the ps4.Downside- I take care of my headsets and top part near the ear hinge starts to Crack within a year. I've gone through 3. Only the 3rd one is where it fell of the couch and hit the tile floor. Mind you, it only slipped and wasn't thrown and low and behold, cracks in the same spot that the other 2 got just from everyday wear.
Very comfortable, but only really practical for gaming.
July 23, 2016
Very, very comfortable. I haven't used the mic since I don't do much co-op gaming, but the sound really is immersive, and lets me hear all of the details without cranking up the volume. I especially like that I can game late into the night without disturbing people sleeping in the next room. The only downside is that it's designed to work with a USB dongle, which is really strange considering that both the PS3 and PS4 have Bluetooth built in and the controllers take advantage of this. Also, it's ONLY useful for my playstation. I suppose I could plug these in to other devices with the included 3.5mm audio cable, but I already have a much nicer pair of headphones for this purpose, and don't really feel like wearing them out in public. It's too bad I can't just use these with my receiver, instead of directly connecting to the Playstation. It really limits their usefulness. Ideally, I'd like one pair of headphones to listen to anything I connect to my receiver. As far as I know this one can't do that. It's great if you only plan to use it for gaming though.
Pros & Cons
January 24, 2016
Pros: Overall this is a very well built headphones making it nice and comfortable around my head even after wearing it for long period of gaming. The blue thing around the headphone feels like it is some high quality material. The first time that I use the headphone; I put the headphone in the opposite direction. I completely flipped the headphone around switching the left and right ears. No wonder why there were explosions on my left but there were nothing there. Make sure that you are putting it in the correct way.Cons: The microphone is pretty s***** in my opinion. I done a few tests on it with my friends and they say that there is some cracking noise in my voice. There are too many buttons around the left side of the headphone making it hard to know which button is specifically for what. I have to take off the headphone every time I want to mute the microphone of use the VSS mode.
Cheaply Made and Poor Mic Quality But nice functions and hearing quality.
October 8, 2015
Alright so I have had these for a few months.ProsGreat Listening QualityLots of functions to personalize your listening experienceCan be used with other devices besides PS4Charge lasts a good whileSignal is pretty strong. I can go all around my apartment and still have connection.CONSCheaply made. The places where it bends are held together by a little bar and a thin piece of plastic. If you have a larger sized head or open and close it a lot eventually the plastic will snap off. Happened to me a week ago. Good Thing I have duct tape.It sometimes will lose connection with PS4. Like remembering your settings. You have to bring up the ps4 compatibility headphone app to fix it.The mic quality is extremely poor considering the price of this product. An additional pro is that you can use these as regular headphones and connect a usb studio mic to your ps4 to use.I'm giving this a 3 stars because of the mic quality and how cheaply made they are. When they break you are basically done for unless you put some super glue or duct tape on it. I'm a youtuber so mic quality is very important. I was very disappointed when I tested the mic quality of these.

Very pooly constructed
February 23, 2017
I've owned this item for over a year and am very disappointed with it. The sound quality is good and it's easy as pie to set up. But it's very poorly made. After only 1 year this headset started to fall apart. Both phones fell off and then the headband got a bunch of fishers in it. I had to repair it with black electrical tape. Even then it continued to come apart and now the sound goes in and out. It's only a matter of time before it stops working altogether. At the time I purchased this item it was close 100 bucks. For that price I expected much better quality. constructed
After Great Initial Quality, They Start Falling Apart
February 14, 2017
I originally reviewed these very positively. Now that I've had them for a while I'd say to buy something else. The initial utility and quality is very good. The price was good too. At the time of purchase I read complaints about the plastic headband breaking or cracking. With this in mind, I was always very careful with them, just in case. This wasn't enough to keep them from breaking right above the left side fold. At first the left plate started falling off and soon after they started forming stress marks. It was the beginning of the end.I wouldn't buy these again or recommend them to anyone. I only rate 2 stars because I was really impressed initially. But for much less money you can get a better product that also works well with PS4.Original Review:The PlayStation Gold Wireless headset is a wonderful product and at a great price.Usually these sell for $99 at most retailers which is a bit too steep for me. So I was delighted to see them at under $70 brand new here. For the price you can't do much better. Playing a game with these on oppose to thru the tv speakers is a massive upgrade. It'll actually help you in your gaming too with the virtual surround sound on. This helps identify the direction of footsteps - this alone can help you stay alive in a Battlefield 1 match. Also they're very comfortable since they fit around your ear and don't rest on top of them. The main reason I bought these was because I play in a den that's connected to my living room and with these on my wife doesn't have to fight my tv volume when I play. Yeah that isn't specific to these headphones but they were super easy to set up and clearly work well with PlayStation 4.Download the headset companion app when you get these. Some games have specific EQ settings for these such as Watch Dogs 2 and No Man Sky.
Don't buy if you coop or use chat on PS4
January 11, 2017
It's a little bit of a pain to set up with a PS4 since it requires a PS Store app but once you charge it up, plug in the USB stick and pair up the headphones they work fine for music, movies or single-player games. The main issue is with chat as others can't hear you without maxxing out your microphone and having to live with feedback and echoes (it gets old hearing everything you say even louder than you said it originally and you end up in an awkward walkie-talkie style of speaking).I went through every troubleshooting step I could find in various forums including using the app to calibrate the microphone and speakers to connecting via PC and using the sound control panel to adjust settings. There were many others in the same boat though oddly, those who used the PS3 version of these were able to get them to work great.

So several months into this headphone, and without using it for a good month, honestly just sitting on top of my PS4 without being used for several weeks, go to play my PS4 turn these on and the wireless function does not work anymore. This is ridiculous, this is my 2nd pair of Sony Golds, the 1st was the 20th anniversary edition (gray). Those broke via the hinge within a couple of months, and this current pair just doesn't turn on on the wireless 1 or 2, The light comes on when you plug it in to recharge but wireless function is dead. luckily I still have the wire controller from the Sony Silver, which by the way also broke via the top of the crown within several months, Sony product quality is down the toilet when it comes to these devices, no way I'm buying anything else Sony headphone wise, it's a sad shame.
Horrible build quality, Great Sound. Buy on Sale only!!!!
February 27, 2016
UPDATE: ((my thoughts below still stand the sound quality is GREAT, but they are built like trash only lasted me about 2 weeks b4 they was in 4 different parts DESTROYED and im very responsible with my stuff. They are now taped and glued 2gether with jb weld, they still sound and work great and are very comfortable after a years time, i just cant recommend them because of the build quality. The plastic used is super cheap, and it has weak pressure points all over it that crack open and break. DO NOT BUY, unless u get a good sale, or if u just must have surround on your ps4 this headset is rly ur only option. Just be super careful with it ))) - These are great 4 the price, they have top quality surround sound, and are very comfortable, and light weight, battery life is about 6 hours, they dont do very well at noise canceling, and friends on other end of mic can hear everything around you but ur voice comes in pretty clear. The only down side is they are kinda cheap on the build, they feel like they would break easily, i would not recommend for kids unless they are very responsible. Other than that they are all around a great set of headphones for gamers on a budget.( Note, these were on sale 4 69.99 when bought)
Was great for first hour of use then...
April 25, 2014
The sound began to become distorted and have a popping noise intermittently. I was hoping this would subside but after a couple of days later with only maybe 4hrs total of use the problem continued of and on. I am exchanging this with Amazon and hoping the replacement headset does not do this. If it does then that is it for this headset.Aside from this issue I enjoyed the headset. Easy to setup and use with some nice features. Good bang for the buck.I will update after I have put some hours on the replacement headset and change my rating accordingly.

Instructions?

No Instruction manual included. Especially when I am trying to teach my son how to play. I never seen the game before. I just heard about it through my son friends.

Great headset - Until it breaks!
April 24, 2017
I purchased this headset about 6 months ago, and have used it probably once or twice a week since then. I take great care of my stuff, and had read all of the negative reviews about the hinge supports breaking, and I chalked it up to "those people" actually being bad at taking care of their things. So I bought the headset anyway.Huge mistake. The headset is literally in mint condition. I have a small head, so there isn't much torque being exerted on the headset when I put it on, and I store it in a firm headset case whenever it is not in use. Last night, one of the hinges snapped. Literally no idea how, but it is quite obvious that the material used to make this headset is sub-par at best.BUY A DIFFERENT HEADSET. Don't make the mistake I did and assume that everyone else was full of crap. They're not. The plastic is light and cheap. You could treat it like it's your own child and it will still eventually break. As you can see in the picture, the headset is in phenomenal condition. It's too bad, because it is a comfortable headset with decent audio.
DO NOT BUY

If you guys are looking to buy this product buy it at a local target lemme tell ya these are sooooooo uncomfortable and the mic is horrible 1/10 . I bought one from target and it was actually better than this one also these headphones are soooo fragile and break easy
Terrible material on hinges
January 26, 2016
Worked great for a while, headphone fell apart at the hinges. Very common problem apparenly from reading the other reivews on here. Sony told me pretty much I was SOL since it had past the one year mark. I took excelent care of them and loved them so much till the day they broke which was really diaspointing considering how expensive they are.
Not worth your money

I have had this item for about 7 months and they broke. just used in a normal way. I would not recommend this item, it is too fragile. Should not break with just normal daily use.

This is the second pair that i have bought for my husband and they both went out. I talked to the manufacturer and he told me to send them to him, so i did and they sent them right back and put a piece of paper in saying could not be fixed. Well the sound went out on this second pair SO i will not be ordering ANYMORE of these.
