I bought my home after it had been flipped. The bulb that was in the oven range hood wasn't working since we moved in so I decided to do something about it. I found that there was a bulb in there, a broken bulb that had been GLUED in place because the base didn't fit and they didn't bother to find the right one. I also found the wrong on at Home Depot. But this one was perfect!!! It came well wrapped.

Stovetop light was out, replaced it, works as advertised. Use rubber gloves or soemthing when installing. Body oils will decrease the lifespan significantly.

Good that these bulbs are inexpensive because I'm stocking up. They fit the over-stove light in my mounted Whirlpool microwave, bought on sale less than a year ago . (The original bulbs burned out over a month ago). I tried to get along with just my under-the-cabinet lights, which proved to be maddeningly unworkable.I am ordering extras just in case. Grateful for the reviews and answered questions on Amazon for these which alerted me to the potentially short life for these bulbs.Giving this 5-stars...don't know where the original bulbs came from.

I bought this bulb to replace one that had blown out under my microwave and it fit perfectly. The bulb screwed in easily and worked with both the high, low, and off settings of my microwave. It lights up my stove as expected and the price was fair so I have no complaints with it. I've been using it every day for over a month and a half with no problems so it was worth the few dollars I paid. I love the convenience of having it delivered to my door in two days and appreciated the care with which it was packaged for shipping.

Worked perfect for my makeup mirror. Wish it came in a one pack as I won't have a use for the other bulb for about 5 years and by then I'm sure I will have misplaced it and need to order another two pack.

Works like a light! 3 levels and always on over the stove. Doesn't last as long as some of the other lights in the house but definetlunfriday does its job. Will order again!

Replaced my Whirlpool under-cabinet microwave light that somehow burned out after only a year. Seriously Whirlpool??? Easy to replace yourself with no instructions.

Works, but expensive for what it is. Fit's my Whirlpool microwave like the OG. I wish they made an high CRI LED version though.

Like the original bulb and has worked fine. Tried tow or three LED bulbs and all have failed after a few short months, they start flickering and become unusable so I went back to the original bulb and so far it is good.

Works great on my microwave. A little tight and tricky to insert but no problem. I just wish they have a "daylight led" bulb. This is soft white bulb.

So. Trying to find this light bulb at our local hardware stores was a disaster. It was never the right one! We would go in to find this bulb and it was either to big, not the right type, blah blah blah. Ridiculous! So, I went on amazon and found this one. Lo and behold, finally a fit!! Thanks amazon for having the bulb I need!! Unlike all those other places who didn't. You know who you are..... lol!

This microwave worked perfectly fine for almost 5years. but it stopped heating days ago....program, starts, the timer starts but nothing else, and when I open the door, the venting system goes on on its own...don't how to diagnose the issue on my own, will contact customer services and see where it goes...

Bulb worked ok but made in China so I expect poor performance similar to others. They run hot and burn out in a few months. Ordered LED version si I will test both.

While I like led approach, the price did not warrant the expenditure of LED, based upon my usage requirements.

Hard to find bulb-- not sure why not a standard size. Ordered less than a year ago and bulb ia burnt out already with sporadic usage.

Bulb did not come in retail or OEM packaging. It was wrapped in very thin bubble wrap with printed label. Time will tell if the quality is a good as the OEM part. I have ordered Whirlpool parts which have come in OEM packaging, this does not appear to be genuine to my eyes however its possible the seller is separating from a large bulk package and then re-labeling them. For the individual bulb price I expected OEM factory part in original packaging. Based on the packing Materials this unit appears to be an inexpensive clone from China, I do sometimes order parts direct from China for a fraction of retail and did not expect this part being listed with a Whirlpool part number to be a knock off. If I wanted that I would have ordered from E-bay instead of Amazon. The bulb does fit. Hopefully it will last at least a year. In my experience the knock offs do not usually last as long due to lower grade materials being utilized. The bulb materials also do not exactly match the original which also leads me to believe this is likely a clone. If the bulb lasts longer then a year I will update this review to reflect that the quality of the part is good. Thanks

Fits microwave and works as advertised, but only lasts 6-7 months of very intermittent use. Wish there was an led alternative...

Worked great but it only lasted 4 months. Next time I'll go to Lowes the last one I bought from Lowes lasted almost 2 years.

This light lasted less than 60 days. For the price, I expected more. Won't purchase it again. The light was a nice warm white but the lack of longevity is a deal breaker for me.

Works but burns out quickly. Look for an LED replacement, not one of these.

This bulb only lasted 6 weeks before burning out. We don't even leave the light on. Poorly made.

These bulbs do not last long at all. Granted we leave the light over the microwave on overnight so we can see in the kitchen if we get up, they still should last longer. I find that one bulb will barely last 3-4 months. In addition, the prices has been raised by over 500%. I paid $0.98 per bulb the last time I ordered

Well, this microwave got top ratings on consumer sights. Installed 1 day, used for about 10 minutes, received error code E-01 when using the convection oven. Pretty disgusted at the moment. Took it back today, 3 hours of jumping through hoops. The problems were as follows. The microwave did not vent properly. An extraordinary amount of heat was coming out the the top front. The exhaust fan would not come on with the convection. The convection fan didn't start at all. The heating element however DID come on, (confirmed with an ammeter) and cycled off after a minute or two giving me an E-01 error code. Impossible to confirm on-line what error code E-01 means, but I assume it means an overheating condition, because the heating element dropped out when the alarm came on. They are quite secretive with their error codes and want someone to come out to look at it. After seeing the negative reviews here, I opted to return the item, since it's built into the cabinet, and I'd rather not tear my cabinets apart every time it craps out. And here I thought my Maytag that bit the dust after 5 years was too unreliable. The reviews on this were sterling, but I could have saved a lot of aggravation had I looked here first. I usually take ALL 1 star OR 5 star reviews with a grain of salt, but in this case EVERY SINGLE review was 1 star. That's rather telling. How exactly IS sears still in business?

Microwave is only 1 1/2 years old. The bulbs on the bottom of the microwave that illuminate the cooktop burned out. Tried to replace them. Opened up the cover and when I tried to unscrew them, both bulbs broke off in my hands... Called the Sears service center. They were rude, I could not understand what they were saying, and ultimately the only way they were going to help me was if I scheduled a repairman appt for a flat $249, not including any parts...!!! OR, agree to buy a warranty for $259.99 !!!!!

Boat anchor in less than 2 yrs. Mighty expensive microwave ( the convection feature was used once, not impressed at all), to replace every two years. I'm done with the Kenmore hype, don't know how they get the good reviews on consumer sites.

The plastic peg and red turning rack melted and fused to the stainless steel 5 days after the 1 year warranty expired. All mom did was warm up her coffee.

This bulky Kenmore product is expensive yet it does not meet most of the requirements indicated on it. It does not warm food properly. Secondly the INCANDESCENT bulbs on the surface went out. When I went to SEARS parts replacement to purchase for the two I was told it will cost a whopping $39.96 each. I felt like I have been dropped out of space without parachute. Since when does incandescent bulb invented by Con Edison in late 1800s cost $39.96? It is a rip off judging from the price of this microwave. This is my 3rd unit since Thanksgiving. Sears states you can bake to 450 degrees (oven temp does not get nearly that). Set at 350 (normal), maybe oven temp gets to 250 degrees. Had Sears tech come out, "All microwave convection ovens are NOT getting to temperature, why, I don't know. He indicated that all the GE's he installed in Monsey NY all have this same problem. Today they install this 3rd Kenmore, while waiting for the oven to reach 350, the fan was kicking on/off, (indicating to me there is a problem with the fan), as the 1st 2 units, once the oven reached a certain temperature, the fan stayed ON.! If you are baking/roasting/cooking foods other than popcorn or reheating leftovers, I would STRONGLY staying away from this unit. First, Sears, in my opinion, has false advertising, the oven temp cannot get to what the unit indicates and Second, in my opinion, this 'wrong' temperature would create a 'SAFETY" issue with inexperience people who may read instructions, "set oven at 325, bake/cook/roast for 1 hour, and they would 'assume' the meat/chicken/fish would be done/cooked and safe to eat, when in fact, it would NOT be cooking/baking/roasting, at the 325 temperature recommended to be cooked at. In addition, the tech told me that the "heating element' is now located in the left hand corner of the unit, instead of the top, creating uneven heating. The left side would cook faster than the right side according to Bob the technician who came out to service the unit.

These bulbs are awful. Original one lasted maybe 6 months. Third replacement bulb never worked right, then bulb separated from the threaded end when I tried to remove it. Popped, blew the circuit, then I had to back it out of the housing using a pair of needle nose pliers. I just bought an aftermarket LED replacement hopefully it's brighter and lasts longer.

Bought it Feb 28. Died July 8. Disappointed! Won't buy again.

Specification missing... miss leading product.. can not return.

This bulb burned out in a very short amount of time, About a month. I bought two of them, but haven't put the second one in yet.

Lasted about 6 weeks. It's out now and I don't know what I'll replace it with.

Didn't even last a month! I am going to have to get another one already!
