Bought this product to replace an 'all-plastic" hose nozzle that I was always worried would break if I dropped on a hard surface. This product is a little expensive, but built like a tank! It's solid, minimal leakage, easy and comfortable to use for long periods of time, and has more than ample different spray patterns, Highly recommended......spend a few extra bucks and buy a quality product like this! Best Nozzle you'll ever own!!!! May 19, 2017 This nozzle is different than any other nozzle you've ever owned.....it has all the spray options...but it also has a screw control that will restrict the amount of water flow that reaches the nozzle. That means by adjusting this....you don't have to try adjusting the pressure with the squeeze handle. Ideal for users with smaller gardens or special situations. Highly recommend. I don't leave it on my hose in the Front Yard!!! Don't want it to disappear!!! Solid product. May 1, 2017 I've only used this nozzle one day, so my biggest question is how long it will last. However, so far I am happy with this product. I like the solid feel in my hand and the comfortable grip. The different sprays are as described. I like that the trigger can be latched open so you don't have to continuously hold down the trigger. I like the ability to adjust the strength of the flow with the bronze knob. While it is pricier than I like, it does feel like a quality product. I hope it lasts a couple of years at least. It would be nice to include an additional washer in the package as some of the reviews have stated a problem with leaking. On my one day of use there was no leakage. I have been contacted twice by the manufacturer checking to make sure I am satisfied with the product. That makes me feel that they are making every effort to ensure they are selling a quality product and should I ever have an issue, they will follow up. So all in all I am thus far comfortable in my purchase. I will try to update this next Spring on how well this sprayer is holding up. Engineering at it's finest! April 28, 2017 Time will truly tell, but I was so tired of the cheap plastic ones that lasted a season or 2 and had that annoying little triangular lock you couldn't always get out at the top rear of the nozzles, I finally broke down and did some digging around before ordering this beautifully designed nozzle. When they say it's the little things in life, sometimes it truly is the little nuisances we overlook that can mean a world of difference. Brass pressure\ flow dial in rear, the piston action valve, durable metal construction, no slip grip, the easy to operate lock, as an engineer...I love that Equinox uses what sounds like the Agile development process to continuously improve their product based on consumer feedback. Compared to my old nozzle, this one will definitely hold up better and I also had no noticeable differences in pressure /spray distance between similar settings. The flow rate may have been slightly less on "Full" but that's not a common setting I use unless filling the pool and walking away. On jet and other pressurized settings, this nozzle had less scatter on tight settings like jet, and finer particles on settings like mist than my old one. 5 star product from a 5 star seller/manufacturer IMO It is a good quality sprayer and we love it September 18, 2015 It is a good quality sprayer and we love it. no spilling from the side and all the setting works great. We love this product for our garden. Thanks for making a quality sprayer!Update: We have been using this product for couple years and WE STILL LOVE IT!!! I think it is a quality product and it does not leak...and does the job and nothing like plastic ones...LOVE IT! Really wanted to love this but... March 31, 2014 the nozzle handle broke before I got to test it out. As I was rolling up my hose, I tossed the nozzle IN THE RAIN SOAKED GRASS about 3' from my body. Did I say "tossed"? I meant dropped. There was little force behind the drop. Well, the handle broke nearly clean off at where it is riveted to the metal part of the nozzle. It seems I am not the only one with this problem in the reviews. The reason for not giving 1 star is because their customer outreach is good. I haven't tried to return this yet, but their message indicates they stand behind their product. Of course, I will update this review upon returning the broken nozzle, but it seems like this riveted connection is the nozzle' s Achilles heel. Hopefully this will be addressed in a newer version.UPDATE: I didn't even have to contact customer service! Their CS rep helped me through the comments section of this review, and I am told the handle issue has been resolved in a new version with a metal handle. I look forward to trying out the replacement nozzle. I will update the rating as soon as I receive the new version, but I already added a third star for excellent customer service.UPDATE: I received the replacement nozzle within a couple of days of contact with JP in customer service. They really do care whether or not you like their product. The new version with the metal handle is much sturdier. I'm not going to throw it off the roof or anything, but it looks like it will hold up to my level of use. The pressure is great, even for my old 1950's plumbing, and I love all the different settings. Plus it's a bright cherry red enamel finish that looks like it won't chip anytime soon. I hope this helps anyone doubting them because of the handle issue. It's been solved.	56% Great product April 27, 2017 The cannon metal hose nozzle sprayer works perfectly for my needs.I would recommend this product to anyone who is tired of those $5 cheep plastic sprayers that break in 1 year of use. I use it to break loose the alge on my rock water fall , it will blast off the rocks like a charm . Recommend for every kind of cleaning job. Also us it on watering my garden ,just turn the nozzle down so it flows with less force.... Beat this! March 14, 2017 [5 Stars -- This is my second order. First went to use at a place where I volunteer, serving lunch to the homeless and disadvantaged. It performed spectacularly rinsing dishes prior to going in to the dish washing machine. Really well made! ] The last Sprayer you'll need! September 10, 2016 If you're tired of buying cheap made in china crap from your local big box that fails when you need it then look no further. This is an impressive all metal nozzle sprayer that provides a lot of adjustment for the volume of water desired. After using for one whole summer I can say that this will last for many years to come. It doesn't look impressive; but, it gets the job done and provides a great value for the money spent. When adjusted to the "power" flow setting this thing is like a mini pressure washer and really packs a punch for a garden nozzle, but I guess thats what they mean by "Cannon" It May Look Odd, But It's Exactly What You're Looking For October 6, 2015 Two weeks ago, I bought a nice looking, $10 adjustable nozzle sprayer. I washed my car with it once. While I was using it that one time, I dropped it on the ground. The handle broke off and the sprayer was stuck in the "on" position. After regaining control of the wild hose, I examined the wreckage. It was unrepairable. I threw the nozzle away. The next time I went to the store, I examined the other sprayers. Even the most expensive ones, which were mainly made of metal, still contained flimsy plastic parts, small joiners that when dropped or mistreated would break. This is called "planned obsolesce": creating products that were meant to break. I want a nozzle sprayer that I can mistreat a little bit. I want it to be able to drop it occasionally. I don't want it to be fragile. So, I began searching for a nozzle like I wanted. That's how I found this product. I was hesitant to order it at first because it looked weird to me from the picture. I have not seen a hose sprayer that looked like this, with a metal, twisty end and small point at the tip. That, and the product was a bit more expensive than most other nozzle sprayers. But, after looking at the amazing reviews that this product has, I gave into the desire and purchased this product. I must tell you that I am over-the-top delighted with this product. I don't leave many reviews, but I had to for this one. This baby is solid metal. All of the parts are tough. I could drop this thing all day and it would be fine, but I love it so much that I craddle and swaddle it after use. Isn't that ironic? This sprayer will last for my life. Also, the spray on this sprayer is awesome. It can shoot a powerful stream useful for cleaning things (not as powerful as a powerwasher, but strong enough for light tasks). And, it can shoot a gentle cone spray that will politely mist your vegetation with the element that gives life. You can adjust this spray by turning the nozzle piece that's located close to the handle. The spray will go from a gentle cone to a powerful spray and all manners in between. Don't be turned away by the odd looking appearance of this device, as I almost was. This is the best garden hose sprayer in existence. Solid construction with nice pressure output August 18, 2015 This sprayer provides additional water jet pressure for light duty surface cleaning as well as a high grade garden nozzle. I used it to wash off the green algae cumulated in the stone wall over the years. I am very happy with the result. This fill the gap of needing the pressure washer for simple surface clean up. I love the fact that I can pick up this gun and perform a quick wash of my car tire rims, windows, house siding etc... It is well made with all metal construction. Basically, there are three main settings: Maximum pressure, Normal flow (no pressure gain) and water mist. Of course, there are intermediate setting as you turn the big brass knob inward or outward for the continually pressure/flow adjustments. The only possible short coming of this product is the black handle is made of metal which means you will feel the water temperature running thru the gun. Additionally, if this gun is left in the sun for a while, it will be a bit uncomfortable to touch. Andy, please consider to add a rubber grip to provide not only the thermal isolation but also feel comfortable to operate. Lastly, The owner Andy is very nice in addressing my initial concern. I now own four of this gun and I gave one to my son as a house warming gift :-)

September 16, 2017 I use multi-spray pattern nozzles inside my barn, for filling buckets, washing horses, watering plants, washing down walls, etc. Since we are aware of the rough life they have, we pay attention to their care, not dropping them, not leaving them on for extended periods, and disconnecting them and draining them if the nights are sub-freezing. I bought two of these nozzles because they were highly-rated and touted all metal construction. I also bought the warranty. Time will tell if they are durable, but they are performing well, not leaking, and are comfortable in the hands of an all-woman crew. the construction is sturdy. I like the small "swing hook" to allow ... May 11, 2017 I am giving it 4 stars for now, as I've only had it for 2 weeks. In my opinion, it needs to survive a season to attain 5 stars. However, the construction is sturdy. I like the small "swing hook" to allow continuous flow (as in, when you're filling a bucket...and multi-tasking). On that topic, the handle is heavy enough that it doesn't come flying out of the bucket and spray you...which is nice.I was pleasantly surprised by the strength of the water flow. I seldom open up the spigot full-bore, so, it was nice to see I can accomplish what I need to get done, without having to walk back to the spigot to adjust flow.I also like all of the settings. It's possible with use, I will "pick" a few favorites and never use some of the others, but it's nice to know it has multiple settings.Overall - I would purchase again. A garden hose is a powerful thing, my friend May 22, 2016 The garden hose feels sturdy and feels like it will last a while. The one unknown was the pressure/speed adjustment on the handle, which I thought may have gone from none to "full" but in-fact the adjustment has some arbitrary range at which the pressure of the water will come out. The mist option is not quite as even as I was hoping as I could spot certain "streams" coming out from it, which isn't a big deal if I mist from afar.So far the two main options I use are shower /w pressure adjustments (from heavy shower to light spraying shower) and the mist option. Some of the dirt in my yard is hydrophobic right now and I've been trying to consistently mist it to help provide a microbial environment to it again.Other than that, love the metal build and bright colors. I've had a green hose nozzle before and lost it among green plants haha. Nice nozzle with well working options, Not of Great power strength but all else work very nicely. May 21, 2016 Nice handle, bought this hoping for the firehose force of water unfortunately it falls short of great powerful stream. Although it does not shoot great force it does work well in all the other settings. For watering and other uses around the yard works well, Stands better than a regular hose nozzle. If your looking for a firehose nozzle strength this is not it, I was hoping for that great force instead of dragging out the power washer. Works better than the wand nozzle. It was shipped very quickly and arrived undamaged and a note from seller. Would Recommend and buy again. no more cheap nozzles for me! July 20, 2015 This is the best hose nozzle I've ever used and I will be buying a second one for another hose. Some have said it may not last but only time will tell, much like everything these days. But for now, using this nozzle just feels like an indestructible tank after years of cheapo HF or wallymart units. Never again! If this units stays in good shape for even just 2 yrs I'll bump this to 5 stars.Update May 2017: OK, maybe not quite 'indestructible'. I unfortunately didn't remember that I'd left the hose out in the yard in order to water fresh grass seed every morning and I chomped the nozzle in the mower deck. Fortunately these were in stock so I came back for two more. The other one I'd bought previously isn't used much but is still working perfectly. Very good nozzle, Not Perfect though!! November 4, 2014 I purchased one of these last year (2013) and was pleased with the built and performance of the nozzle. I am a heavy user of hose nozzles, and I have been through a fair share of different brands. This one is by far one of the better brands. It is built to take a fair amount of ware and tear. The patterns are very useful, my favorite is the "FULL" pattern, because of the power and volume of water you get from the feed. That said, I took away a star because I recently ordered another nozzle to replace my last one, because, when I pulled the trigger, I stopped getting any water or maybe a trickle. I had to switch around to various patterns before full pressure would resume. When you are doing alot of cleaning and hosing down (I have 7 Rottweilers), this problem can be a bit annoying. Also, the rate of feed button to turn, rings out after a while. This is no problem if you constantly use one pressure, but it can be a hassle if you regularly change feed patterns with different rates of flow.All in all, this is a very good nozzle, and the fact that I came back and bought another one speaks to the fact that it is still alot better than the other stuff out there, just it's not the perfect nozzle. It didn't end up working for my deck project but I am glad to have it around for other tasks. I tried using this to clean an old wooden deck that was pretty dark with grime. It's a fairly powerful spray and removed a LOT of the gunk, but I never could get it to look pristine like it would from a real power washing-- I was still left with lots of black staining in the texture of the wood grain. (I tried a power washer afterwards and it got all of that out.) If you have a newer deck or you're just cleaning an older one because you're worried about buildup making it slippery, I think this would work great. But if you're looking to clean a dirty older deck like mine for appearance before resealing, this isn't enough. BUILT WELL, DOES WHAT IT SHOULD November 23, 2015 Performs as advertised, I don't know what people expect that rate this badly. It's not a pressure washer but it does outperform your run of the mill nozzle. It is a little pricy but you do get what you pay for or so it has always seemed to me. Of course there is a limit (at least when it comes to my wallet) but it is heavily made and has great pressure,or strong stream or however you want to describe it, it hurts your skin if you spray it directly I know that for sure and it did a great job on my driveway, all of the seams, good forthe car, gutters, and sprays a good stream for a long way. To sum it up, I like it but I do think it could be a little cheaper. But I bought one anyway. If you want a pressure washer,buy one. If you want a good nozzle buy the outback tough. It does what a nozzle should do, plus some, and it is built well. Its loud, basic, and heavy to operate. But it shouldn't break. - Update - It Broke September 17, 2015 Between having to replace the hose and the sprayer head annually most of the time, I decided to get the large commercial never kink hose, and this all metal hose sprayer. Its not the smoothest thing to operate. It does require a lot of force to twist the nozzle end, as well as the trigger, but the thing is so solid, doesn't leak a drip of water and dropping it to the ground doesn't phase it. It does produce a good stream of pressure, but the flow rate isn't very adjustable. I solved that by putting an inline on/off valve to help a little. Overall, I was looking for something that I wouldn't have to replace year after year, not for a bunch of spray and mist settings. It works very similar to the fireman style nozzle with cone to spray, but with a trigger action to control the water flow. Update - It broke, An early winter freeze took it out. Separated the base to attach the the hose. Disappointed as the plastic valve I had didn't crack, and it was cheap plastic. Great product with only one minor flaw ... August 29, 2015 Great product apparently backed by a great company. The hose sprayer is the best i've ever used. it is solid and has a spray better than others. I ordered 2 but one arrived defective (leaked when turned off). Called company on a Saturday and got a person on the phone immediately. What a happy surprise in this day and age. The very polite women asked me some questions about the problem and determined the inside washer was to blame. She took my name and found the order in Amazon and sent me a new one which arrived two days later on Monday. Only gave if four instead of five (which quality of product and human monitored company phone otherwise deserved) because the spray lever is solid metal and I felt it should have a rubber covering to make it more comfortable to press when using the sprayer. Make this change and I would give it six out of five stars if I could. Great nozzle, but not what I needed May 13, 2015 It's a great product and very well made and well thought out. Unfortunately it isn't of much use to me as the volume in stream-mode isn't what I really need/want. It produces a very thin but high-velocity solid stream. It would be great for cleaning pool filters! I did email the manufacturer about this concern and they sent a very detailed explanation and set of tips/recommendations to help. Unfortunately at this time it just isn't the nozzle I need it to be for my purposes. They did say that they are considering manufacturing a second nozzle tip that will allow more volume (with perhaps a slight reduction in velocity, I assume) in the future. Cool.

Three Star Reviews:	3% Expected more from Amazon's Choice of Heavy Duty Garden Nozzles October 7, 2017 I've owned two of these over the past year, and they are one of the best nozzles in the market for pressure and build quality, but there appears to be one major flaw -- which is that the handle becomes loose and water begins leaking off the handle-valve area over time, (about 8-10 months in I'd need a replacement). There appears to be no way to tighten the handle joint, if they can solve this issue the nozzle would be as close to perfect as you can get.Good functioning nozzle with good pressure but longevity isn't any better than the competitors. BAD WATER FLOW June 13, 2016 REDUSES FLOW OF WATER TO MUCH. and in those cases the old style trigger control is best. You just squeeze more for more volume January 1, 2015 Unlike most other sprayers, this one doesn't use the trigger to adjust the spray volume. The trigger is a simple on/off lever. The volume control is a dial on the top. There are times when you want to adjust the volume on the fly, and in those cases the old style trigger control is best. You just squeeze more for more volume. Other times, you want the same consistent volume and in those cases, this unit is best because you don't have to hold the trigger carefully to control volume. You also don't have to worry about accidently squeezing too hard and shooting out too much water making a mess. After you get used to it, it's easy to control the volume dial with your other hand on the fly, so overall, you have better control over the spray with this sprayer.The biggest complaint I have with this unit is that with the volume control turned up all the way, there is a significant reduction in the amount of water that can come out of the sprayer compared to the other style sprayers. I consider this a design flaw that the manufacturer needs to fix. I bought this nozzle in July and have used it ... October 27, 2014 I bought this nozzle in July and have used it extensively since then. Lately, some of the settings such as 'mist' do not work at all. I must admit that I turned the settings a few times when the hose was on. This may have been the culprit. I am now searching for the control flow knob which I think I have found, but I cannot turn it. So all in all, the hose is the right weight, has the right amount of settings but it is not lasting. I will buy another one next year and pay more attention to how I change settings etc. Best hand nozzle I've had - until it started leaking July 27, 2014 Best hand nozzle I've had. Note that the little twist knob on the back at the top to adjust water pressure comes off easily. I just dropped the nozzle on the grass and it came off. When I discovered it was missing it took a while to find it and it popped right back on, but it's something that I'll need to watch. I really don't use that knob as the water pressure can be adjusted by the handle, but if your hands and fingers aren't that strong you might use the knob. I will buy another one for the back yard hose.UPDATE 7/9/2015: I haven't had to use this much yet this year as we're in a frequent rain cycle. Today I was using it to wash garbage cans, but the plastic flow control nozzle on the top started leaking/spraying at the base. When I tried to tighten it, the whole piece came off in my hand. The leak wasn't strong enough to keep me from using it today, but I'm off to buy a new one. Leaking from black rubber underside.... June 7, 2014 This is a great nozzle except that it leaks all over my hand from the soft black rubber underside (outer rim of the underside) no matter what setting it is on. No leaking at all from any of the connector parts. I saw someone in QUestions had this problem. I am going to email them and update here if/when I hear from them....UPDATE:I have tried three of these and keep having the same problem. I have had AWESOME customer service, however. I feel like I know the guy. Immediate response to my initial post, sent out a replacement really fast, discussed the in's and out's of possible causes. I use it either with a leader hose attached to a rain collecting fountain or to a regular hose I run out from my kitchen. I have two other nozzles that work fine on both those hoses. My water pressure is medium. I've tried adjusting the pressure knob as well as the center screw.THis is such a beautiful nozzle, great to hold, to look at and I think it's wonderful except I can't keep it from leaking. There has to be something I am doing wrong.I'll post another update when I figure it out. Meanwhile, I have to say, the best customer service on any product I've ever seen on Amazon and I order a huge amount of stuff here.	7% All metal durability. June 7, 2017 Sloppy spray pattern, very stiff spring will cause hand fatigue if held for more than a minute or two. Will have to try wrapping the handle with something because it will likely be freezing to hold in cold weather. Lasted almost 2 years and now it's falling apart April 6, 2017 Lasted almost 2 years and now it's falling apart. It's a pretty decent sprayer and the heft of it feels nice in the hands. The $30 I paid for it seems excessive compared to the $15 it goes for now. I like the lock for keeping water flowing and I like how you can continuously adjust the spray pattern from a wide spray to a direct blast; it's a little difficult to actually adjust while spraying, so it's easiest to spray, then adjust, rinse, repeat, to get the right pattern; and the wide spray is a little uneven but it gets the job done. The biggest problem is that there is a large pin at the very top that has rusted out pretty good and just today while getting ready to start watering the plants, the pin fell right out. I was able to jam the pin back in to place, but I'm afraid this thing will be headed to the garbage soon. Onward with the quest to find the perfect hose nozzle...sigh.... Not worth the price! June 29, 2016 I thought for the price this would be a better product. It leaks at a couple spots, especially when you try to set it for the high pressure spray. Too much trouble to return it, so we'll keep it. Save your money - not worth the price. heavy duty and durable, but will not substitute for a pressure washer June 13, 2016 I bought this as an alternative to a pressure sprayer, this is supposed to work as an alternative and I bought a pressurized hose attachment to use this as a pressure washer, it works but only just. I will still have to buy a pressure washer in order to spray my decks as this does not quite do the job in a timely manner. Some Good, Some Bad February 26, 2016 The instructions on the Back of the Package were difficult to Understand. It took me atleast 15 minutes to figure out how to go from MIST to JET spray patterns. Pros: Multiple Spray Patterns just by twisting the Nozzle. (super-fine Mist to needle-thin Jet) Metal Construction. I didnt want a Plastic & Easily breakable Nozzle. Seems to be well-made, and Sturdy. (Durable) Comes with a different-sized nozzle tip, and some replacement washers and other internal components. (just in case something wears out) Cons: All the DVDs and stuff it says you will recieve, you dont actually Recieve. And I'm not going to create an account with some website just to get them. Pressure wasnt as Powerful as I was lead to Believe. Price is kinda high for what it is. An Oily Orange Grease was on the front of the Nozzle, and got onto the Car I was Trying to WASH. Grease doesnt easily wash off of car paint.

Two Star Reviews:	4% Had potential, but hose connector was faulty. June 10, 2015 It was a bit pricey and had multiple good reviews, so I thought this would be a great quality product. I tried to screw it onto my hose and it didnt go on very well. I tried turning on the water and it gushed out all over the place near the hose connector. I thought maybe the hose was at fault, so I moved it to a 2nd hose and suffered from the same problem.The nozzle did feel heavy duty than most, but the defect at the bottom ruined it.There customer service team responded to me and offered to replace/refund after I take a picture to prove the product was defective. I sent it right back. so I paid extra and it wasn't any better than the $8 April 16, 2015 I paid extra than I usually do for a nozzle, I have lots of watering to do here on our ranch. I also have a horse barn that I use a hose/nozzle in. I purchased this in October, plant watering season was about over so I used this in the barn on the wash rack. It wasn't used very much at all and of course it leaks. so I paid extra and it wasn't any better than the $8.96 one at Walmart. Don't waste your money Leak 6 months later March 2, 2015 When looking at the 5 star reviews, factor in how long person had the nozzle before they submitted their review. I too love these when I first purchased them, and would have given them 5 stars at the time. 6 months later however, both of the two have started leaking significantly at the top between where the metal and control knob join. Unless you are willing to waste significant amounts of water July 21, 2014 I should have listened to the other reviews. Solid construction - 5 stars. Restricts the water flow - not a big deal, but does take longer to get things done. Now we're down to 4 stars. However, after 10-15 uses, the nozzle now leaks (constant leak, not just drips, actual steady steam of water). Unless you are willing to waste significant amounts of water, you are forced to shut off the water supply. Wasteful and inconvenient. Two stars... at best Doesn't last. May 14, 2014 I love the all metal build. Problem is that the lever is cheap plastic and splits right at the hinge making it useless. Bought mine in Feb. already garbage in May. Don't waste your money on this one. If the company made the handle metal this would be an excellent product. The trigger is the problem May 12, 2014 I bought my hand sprayer at the begging of March 2014 and at the beginning of May the trigger broke. It lasted two months. That amazing. The sprayer worked well. Had the trigger been more durable this product would easily get five stars.	10% Came in doing cartwheels, left crawling out. July 4, 2017 I wanted to love it. I ended up liking it for a year, but the adjuster and the output were just a little under my expectations. Then after winter, I go to wash my car for the first time this season and the whole nozzle blew right off. Honestly, I can't speak for my wife but I take care of my gear and I never dropped this sprayer in such a way as to cause this kind of damage. After inspection, it looks like the design is the cause. The base of the nozzle is far too thin for a material that suffers corrosion, and it's the only support if the sprayer is dropped. I see that Victor had the same thing happen to him, and I'm willing to bet that many others had it happen too that didn't bother to post here. He didn't have any luck with a warranty claim and I'm not holding out on getting one honored myself. I wanted a power sprayer, I should have just skipped the hype and bought a real power sprayer. My cheap plastic garden nozzle works for everything else I need and the adjuster is butter. Misses the mark. June 21, 2017 Not at all what I was expecting for that price or even half of that price. The only part of it that is okay spray wise is the small hard stream. The remainder of the adjustment for spray is not what could be called a pattern. One side of the pattern will be spraying large drops and half way around the pattern is a fine mist. It seems to be made so that it will last but that just means you'll be unhappy with it for a long time. Unless you are specifically after the small hard stream, save your money buy one of the very inexpensive models that have a verity of patterns that are uniform and will do what you want it to. Would it break the bank to use brass or stainless for the internal components? June 17, 2017 After a year it started leaking, so I took it apart and found the problem: rust. Nothing in the rebuild kit was of any use. I took the rusted valve stem and turned it on my lathe to get rid of most of the pitting on the seating surface, blacked it to slow down the rusting, then put it back together. Considering what they charge for these I would think they'd use materials that won't rust for the critical internal working parts. I'm really disappointed. It worked great when it was new, but I expected it to last more than a year. I'll keep it it has some light duty uses....it wont be my go too nozzle. I will probably give it to a friend.....not happy with the unit. Nice heavy nozzle February 16, 2017 Nice heavy nozzle, I mean really heavy duty and not going to wear out anytime soon. Like some other reviews it does not spray that good, the pressure out of it is not great, its not my water supply as I have $2 dollar nozzles that spray stronger and further using the same length hose. I also added a quick disconnect to it that didn't change the pressure or anything on it. to use all the features on this nozzle it does require you to take the front end off, unscrews. which was not anywhere in the ad, so it was a surprise when it arrived. You can get great nozzles for less with the same features that do not require you to take them apart to use those features that would still provide you years of use. This is a real nice heavy duty nozzle with a lot of shortfalls when it coms to use ability. Like others have mentioned the screw in socket for the hose is only 3 threads so not vary much holding it in, that's why I added the quick disconnect to prevent it from wearing out more by screwing it on and off. Probably should have sent it back.

Three broken and leaking within 5 months July 9, 2014 I purchased 2 Gardenite heavy duty nozzles in Spring 2014, based on the good reviews and warranty offered. I'm a serious gardener and have been looking for a durable multi-spray pattern nozzle for many years without luck -- one that will last more than 1-2 years. Within a month, the volume adjustment knob on one broke off so the spray was stuck at low volume, although still usable. I called the manufacturer and they replaced it immediately. Within 5 months, all 3 nozzles leaked copiously between the metal body and the dial face. The manufacturer promptly refunded me for the two nozzles I purchased. Great customer service but a really cheap and poorly made product. Incredibly disappointed. Still looking for a great hose nozzle. I got Hosed July 1, 2014 Had this for less than a month and the center opening where the water comes out for the jet setting and others is rusting! How can a hose nozzle manufacturer use components that will rust? Also on mist and shower setting other parts of the nozzle holes, not used for those settings, leak. I would look somewhere else for the price. Product is junk June 26, 2014 I purchased this item in March of this year, 2014. I paid what I thought was an awful lot for a garden hose nozzle, but did so thinking I would be receiving a quality U.S. made product. After only being used a handful of times the nozzle has started making a terrible noise and would not allow adjustment of the spray flow. This frustrated me but I continued to use it and hoped for the best. Now today, June 26, 2014 the handle completely snaps off. This product cost me twice as much money as I have ever spent on any nozzle and only lasted a few months with light use. BUYER BEWARE!!!!! This product is of extremely poor quality and to top it off, I cannot seem to even get a hold of customer care to see if they will replace the item. August 17, 2017 Bought in '15 with the intention for, say, a good 10 years of use. It is an odd combination of high quality and low quality, good design, and head-scratching design. The fact that the standard household hose had been around for a while, I'd think by now these types of things would be no-brainers to make, apparently not. It initially broke in 2016, and fully broke this year. Please trust me and the others who warn about it. We're discussing brass hose sprayers online--think about the intention and standards of that community--we're not discussing if world peace is possible this century still so close to colonialism on the historical timeline, or how to beat the market with high-frequency trading algorithms. Trust us, we love solid brass lifelong hose nozzles, and this, my friend, is not the one you are looking for. Not Recommended . . . Poor Product Workmanship May 25, 2017 (1) I've had the unit since July 2016 and with minimal use, the fitting that attaches to the hose bib split open; it appears to be a poor braze joint onto the main body of the nozzle . . . (2) For the price charged I would have expected much better workmanship. (3) Based on other customers comments regarding the suppliers reluctant desire to make good, no use in returning it to them for repair/replacement. (4) I guess I will chalk it up to a bad, and expensive, lesson. (5) I will be placing the company on my "do not buy from them list . . . reason: poor quality merchandise!" October 16, 2016 I was stoked about this product when I ordered it. I remember when I received it in a timely manner as promised, I started grunting like Tim The Toolman Taylor. The inside of this thing rusts and corrodes away after a short period of time which causes it to leak and spray all over the place. My one star was for the great shipping and that brief moment of excitement that I had at the beginning. PRODUCT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY! April 14, 2016 I had originally given this nozzle 5 stars. It does shoot water hard, almost like a power washer...WHEN IT ACTUALLY WORKS! The wire that holds it open, to continuously stream water, broke after weeks, on both of mine. I bought 2 of them. After less than 1 Season of use, one leaks like crazy and the other is cracked in the brass part. I am extremely unhappy with this product. For the money, and maintaining them well, they suck. I'm extremely disappointed in these nozzles. They don't hold up for the price!
