I bought two of these to replace a large worn out ottoman. Not only do they look good, but they hold nearly all the contents of the larger one they replaced. Each holds three to four lightweight throws. As for how much weight they hold... one of our friends who must weigh 230 lbs sat on one and it didn't collapse. They are lightweight, strong, and very pretty. I like that they can be used as footstools, storage units, and seats when necessary.

I was amazed at how "hefty" this little ottoman is, for it's size it has some solid weight to it, so it won't slide around much. The storage compartment would hold a lap blanket or a couple of sofa pillows, we use it to store dog toys in. The hinges are well made, attached securely and snap open for safety....provided it is pushed open all the way and "locked" in position.Purchased to put between extended leg rests on our recliner sofa.We have two huge doberkids who like to be on the sofa with us and we needed something in the center space left open when the recliners leg rests are out. It fit perfect, fills in the open area between the open leg rests and creates enough extended space both boys can get in the center of the sofa between us and have a room to stretch out.

Really nice. I needed a footstool for the RV that was sturdy but not too big. This fit the bill. It's the perfect height for the captain chairs and it cleans easily. The top is on a hinge and opens nicely so I am able to hide the dog leashes in there to keep them out of sight and hidden. Plus it makes a perfect cat lounger. ;)

Great product. I was able to purchase this on discount through Amazon Warehouse (which was classified as "like-new"). In reality, it was brand new... To the people who have commented on the hinges breaking or the screws coming loose. In that case, buy a new $2 hinge and a screw driver and tighten it back down again, it's not that difficult.I love this ottoman for my reading chair. Looks great and unless you have kids or dogs jumping on it, I don't see why it won't last me for years.

Bought for my living room, looks nice with my beige furniture. Also for my dog to use jumping down from my high furniture. Kay. It is May 30, and my pretty little ottoman has a hinge to come off, screws laying on floor. Hinge is bent. Would not have been using it, if I had known this was becoming a problem, loose hinge. received it on April 9, 2017. Now I need to buy new hinge and hopefully it will stay on with screws. Maybe I will put some glue in holes. This ottoman has not been used roughly, sitting on sofa, with legs stretch out on it.

Perfect! It fit the function precisely. It is well constructed and durable. The storage area is a very handy feature and the hinges for the lid secure it in the upright position, but a minimal amount of hand pressure easily releases the lock and closes the lid down. I noted the one review that downgraded the item because the stitches were off center relative to the lid and the base. But, mine had the stitching well within a 1/16" tolerance, and that is plenty good. For the price, if one is looking for an ideal ottoman, you cannot go wrong purchasing this one.

Wanted a nice stool for my living room - this product fits the bill! My grandson & my kitty's fight over the new seat. This grandma claims ownership.

I ordered four of these to replace an outdated coffee table in my family room. I absolutely love them! The serve as storage bins for pillows and blankeyd, individual foot rests, individual tables for eating, a large coffee table surface, or individual seats. They are sturdy and well made, and I would highly recommend them. SO glad I bought them!

Very good quality for the price point. Goes with many much more expensive items in the living room. I am using it as a side table for remotes with a little tray that is nice for a glass of water. Really glad I purchased this.

This is a really good looking piece of furniture. I purchased it to supplement storage in our living room and we have a leather tufted ottoman which pairs really nicely with this smaller edition. Even though this item is not leather it still looks very nice.

We needed something to provide nice support for lounging that wasn't too bulky and matched our top grain leather sectional. Hesitant about the quality at this price we were delighted upon receipt and IMMEDIATELY ordered a second worrying about a risk of sell-out.The tone is a timeless dark roast coffee bean brown. Construction is solid but easy to lift or shift to the side when you want to get up. If you have laminate/wood flooring or a prized area rug then you may want to invest in those little gliders to prevent scratching or pulls.The interior of the cube fits a throw blanket (or two!) magazines, remotes and there's still room for more. The lid closes softly so there's no BAM when you grab your blanket. The legs screw on when you unbox but they could easily be left off if you need something shorter or prefer the modern floor pouf look.The top is pleasant for kicking up feet and for perching upon. This ottoman acts as lounger, storage chest and occasional seating with ample space. It's rather shockingly nice given the price point.Durability will be a test of time but one has already taken the force of a dead-weight, crash landing from a trip over an area rug and it didn't creak, give way or make a sound. In it was a forceful drop from a less-than-light person. You almost never see accessory furniture perform so well.

Inside is somehow much larger than expected though also much shorter than expected. Top cushion is not firm at all and any weight drops the height by about 3 inches so it's not so great for an extra seat. Seems to be pretty sturdy overall, though to handle at least 160 lbs. Personally don't care for the vinyl but it seems sturdy enough for now and the straight, boxy styling will make it easy to reupholster when needed. Had to replace the feet immediately because they were not inserted at the same depth, making it unstable, and are the type that just stick in like a nail.

This is nice looking ottoman with storage space. I use the storage to keep my daughters diapers,wipes, cream etc for when i don't want to leave my TV show to go and get her change in another room. It works great as foot rest and is perfect height for that. I wold have liked if the seams were black but now that I have it for over a month I'm probably used to the white seams and it doesn't bother me anymore. Also its sturdy enough that you can sit on it, although not very comfortable for long duration.

Well made for the price. I really like it and the storage component is a plus.

I bought two of them. You can hide your clutter inside of them and they also serve as a comfortable "chair". The material is not overly shiny which is good. They actually look like real leather. Plus, the white seams line-up pretty well between the bottom part and the lid. They are not Thomasville quality, of course. But they're pretty good for the price. I am glad I bought them.

Smaller than I thought but I've gotten used to it. it has a good amount of storage inside. Though I would recommend to be extremely careful since the inside material isn't really the best. And you can feel on each side that there's nothing between the wood on the edges and there nothing to there to protect the sides no wood or anything it's hollow. So there's an accident involving scciorros or some other sharp object you're pretty much doomed. it's cut straight both fabric into the storage.

I'm really pleased with this purchase! These ottomans are the perfect height to put feet up on while relaxing on the couch, and they're a good height for sitting on as well. We bought two, figuring in a pinch they could be used as extra seating for visiting kids, and with a maximum weight of 225 lbs (according to the included papers) they should work for many adults as well. They hold a surprising amount of stuff - currently one is hiding quite a lot of yarn and the other has all of our wii remotes, wheels, etc. with lots of room to spare. They're light enough to move around even with things in them (though if you pack it full of books or bricks you might have a different experience.)The hinges are visible from the outside, which doesn't show in the product photo. The lid stays up until you push it back down, making it reasonably safe for kids to go digging around for things inside. The fabric (faux leather?) is smooth, wipeable and nicely padded - it would probably look strange paired with a real leather sofa, but next to our microfiber furniture is a good contrast.Why four stars? Out of the two, one is perfect. The other wobbles a little and the top is not exactly square with the bottom. A felt furniture pad under one of the corners fixed the wobble, and the slightly off-square top is only noticeable from one side. Overall, I'd definitely recommend these if you're looking for a sturdy, inexpensive storage ottoman.

This is our third ottoman. I really like the storage and the height. I will note that if you are someone who pushes with your feet, the buttons may move and come off. We put a pillow on the top and that seems to help.

Exactly as expected. Arrived nicely packaged and free from damage. Under five minutes to install the feet. I love that it has storage. I have three blankets in it with room for a couple more maybe. I think if an adult sat on it a lot, the cushion would definitely show wear. Works great as a foot rest and storage though.

Working out very well. Feels like a sturdy piece of furniture. I like it, especially with the storage compartment.

If the color were better it would get 5 stars. The structure and design get 5 but the color is a dark dull brown. If it did not completely clash with my furniture I would have kept it. Nice quality!

This ottoman is nice and well made considering it didn't cost that much. Seems to be nice and solid for sitting and/or resting your feet.

For what it does... looks and storage... A very nice value. For feet its super for sitting on, its a bit hard. But it looks nice and has a spring top to store things in. The Color almost matches my other leather furniture.No Complaints there.

It does the job but it's not amazing. A little shorter than expected.

I like the fact that you can also use this for storage. It's comfortable to sit on also. What I don't understand is that you can only purchase one.

I am hoping that with my request for second replacement, that when I receive I can return to my review and rewrite and add more stars. Great size, look and product. The problem is the top lid. It has not been made to properly align with bottom when lid closed. It exposes the lip and leavese stitching misaligned. It's an easy fix to get this product to a 5. I hope the manufacturer fixes this small but noticeable imperfection that takes away from what would be a 5 star product.

Nice but the top has no support. So if you are sitting on it it is uncomfortable and feels like you may fall through. They should have put some sort of support in the top of the stool

It feels a little frail and not as sturdy as I would like, but it serves its purpose for my kids to sit on at the coffee table and play table games etc. When I sit on it I feel like over time I will either create a sink in it or the wood frame I can feel will break. You can actually feel the frame through the covering so it does not have a lot of padding as I would have preferred or expected. The storage feature is quite good but I can never tell which way it opens since it does not have a front and back!

This ottoman definitely looks good and feels good to the touch, however the quality is questionable. The lid is not hardened in it's entirety so it's not great for sitting on, although it doesn't stop me; I just sit on the edges. The lid opens with two flimsy metal latches that look like they might break if you put too much force on them.It definitely is lightweight and can hold a significant amount of clutter (I use it for magazines and other such items that might otherwise be strewn over the coffee table). Looks good and although it's cheap quality, it's also cheaply priced, so there's not much to complain about. 3 and a half stars.

Looks great! We liked the storage aspect. Doesn't slide well on carpet. After a few months one of the button tufts was coming loose. Amazon was very helpful about getting a replacement!

Love the height and storage. BUT after a month, seams are ripping apart where the buttons are. Not sure it will last long, but for the price it's nice.

The size is good. The color is very rich and true to site. The quality of the material used is very good. Purchased two. Unfortunately, returned both because one had manufacturing (poor stitching in the piping) damage.

I've had this for two years now, with light use (I actually put a pillow on top of it, and place my feet on the pillow)... the top lining is coming apart, as are the seams. I would have paid 25 dollars or more for a quality product.

Love the concept and look of this product. It definitely won't stand up to kids sitting on it at all. The legs broke off with in a couple of months. I would definitely recommend it for light use. It is a great price and looks great. Just wish the legs were more sturdy.

The ottoman looks very nice and is very functional. Unfortunately, as others have indicated, it is not holding up. It has had very little use, occasionally my son sits on if for a game of chess. After a few weeks, the stitching is pulling out of the seams near the buttons. Disappointing, but not worth shipping back.

This item broke immediately :( I can't open and close it without screws falling out constantly. It works as an adequate (yet very short) chair...the only real benefit is that I can make my desk look clean by hiding papers in it.

Not sturdy enough for me.

It looks good, but it's a little smaller than I expected, and my kids broke the door hinges within 5 minutes. I suppose if you didn't have kids, and just needed it for "soft" use, it would fit the bill.

It was far more than I was led to believe.

It looks good and is the perfect size. However. after using for only a short time, the hinge broke. I tried to repair it but the hinge will not work. Very disappointing.

I very much liked this piece of furniture up until the hinge snapped off after a few months of use. It's not as if I was continually opening and closing the top to the point that it wore out. Several times a week of opening and closing the top and after about three months the hinge to the top snapped.

It is a very attractive ottoman but the stitching was coming loose on one corner. I'm not happy with that.

Buttons are coming off within a month of use.....aside from that, I love it....love the heighth, the lifting mechanism is great

This had a small tear above one of the legs on the side of the stool. I did not notice it for a month so did not send it back. Went and bought repair kit.

Very small, nothing like the photo. Send the wrong color as well.

Cheap looking but its in my sons basement area so its okay.

Not sure what tape measure was used for the measurement picture or details but this ottoman is only 13’ tall!!Highly disappointed, should have ordered the other option I was looking at.

It got broken after I open top couple of times.

Came apart as I was trying to get it out of the packing carton. Very cheap hinges and screws. I returned this item.

Sadly, this broke after open and closing maybe 3 or 4 times. The metal hinge completely separated from the top rendering it completely useless as both storage and as a seat. And it's 5 days after the window to return which just stinks! I sooo wanted to like this, but I just don't see it standing up to any sort of normal use.

Just rec'd this item today... it came via FedEx... while I often see many things that come via FedEx looking like gorillas actually work for them (as far as the condition of the box it's shipped in)... the box for this item was pretty much intact... no holes... no crushed corners... but upon removing the ottoman from the box... lo and behold there was a 3 inch tear in the side of the piece... that has to have been there prior to being placed in the box for shipment... as the box had no tears in it... astounding that some person would knowingly pack a defective piece... and it was too obvious to miss... incompetency ABOUNDS!

I just purchased this small ottoman, and was very disappointed after opening to find a large, deep scratch in the leather - through layers of cardboard and plastic. There was a shiny "polished" look around the scratch, as if someone in the factory had done it, and then attempted to mask the problem by rubbing it out. Very poor quality control and attention goes into these ottomans. I contacted Delaney customer service, and they were unwilling to do anything, and did not seem to care that a lazy employee from the factory in China is ruining their brand.

I liked the look of the product, but after only 4 months, the seams are coming apart. We don't sit on them, so must just be poor sewing on the product. Very disappointing.

This is a nice ottoman, EXCEPT that 5 weeks after we received it (and one week outside Amazon's return window), one of the buttons on top came apart. It looks like the button was not crimped properly. This may not sound like a big deal, but it ruins the the whole thing.We've tried several ways to put the button back together, but it won't stay together. An upholstery shop or a special tool is what it needs.I've now seen other reviews of this product with the same problem, so it's a problem the manufacturer and Amazon should know about.If I can return this one, I'd order another one

Recently purchased this item and after a short period of time the seams started coming apart near the top buttons. Would not buy again.

Just received this ottoman yesterday and rested my feet on it an hour or so. This morning I noticed one of the 4 buttons on top has fallen apart. Now I have 3 original brown buttons and one broken, bare metal base. Unacceptably poor construction!

When i got this i was very pleased..2 days later all 4 buttons on top fell off and will not go back on,tried contacting mfg,no reply....stay away

I exchange the ottoman the second time because the button popped off, Received another one January 13, 2017. Going on two months, now the stitching on the topside is separating. I wanted to exchange again, but I exceeded the time. You get what you paid for. Check out the photo. The pens point to the seams separating.
