Five Star Reviews: | 67% Great Drill June 13, 2017 A little lighter than the older one but more torque and good strong power being more amperage than it's predecessor Delivery sucked. Post office left box wide open in view ... March 25, 2017 Delivery sucked. Post office left box wide open in view of street. USPS has the worst delivery system. And they wonder why they are going brokeMachine is great | 93% Nice tool June 26, 2017 This thing is working great for my basement project. I've been using it to break up solid concrete to make the floor level and smooth enough to put hardibacker on it. The builders of my house never intended to finish the basement, so they let piles of concrete slop over the edges of the forms. No problems so far. I'll use it later in the project for a bunch of 5/8" anchors. I have no doubts that this will do the job. I find it comfortable to hold June 9, 2017 I've used this for about 3 months now having drilled about 50 1/2" holes. I wore out my first bit and on my 2nd now. I have had no problems. I find it comfortable to hold, and not too heavy. The trigger action allows me to start very slowly as I'm carefully locating the start of the hole, and then speeding up. I have only used it on rotohammer mode (not demohammer) so far. I have used many other rotohammers in the past and I say this is a good tool. Highly Recommend! Don't forget BIT GREASE! November 28, 2016 With SDS Bits, my bathroom slab was no match for this baby! Just make sure to use Makita Bit Grease before installing bit into drill. This will eliminate premature chuck wear. ... 3/8"holes in large river rocks and it does a amazing job, very powerfull couldn't be happier March 18, 2016 I purchased this to drill 3/8"holes in large river rocks and it does a amazing job, very powerfull couldn't be happier. I have never owned something this powerful and it makes the job so much easier. Highly recommend this I own at least 12 pieces of Makita power tools and they haven't disappointed me yet. rock-solid tool February 14, 2012 Another great tool made by a great company. I've never bought a Makita tool I didn't like. This SDS drill will make your old keyed-chuck hammer drill seem like stone-age technology. The diameter ratings for these drills are not ever very accurate. They are ratings for suggested maximum diameter bit that you would want to use all-day long. If you had to grab a 2" coring bit and make a few holes, though, I've no doubt this "one-inch" drill will handle it fine. One suggestion, if you buy the keyed chuck with SDS shank so that you can use keep using your old round-shanked masonry bits, buy a high-quality one. The SDS action is really powerful. I bought the cheapest chuck Amazon sells and it literaly blew up the first time i used it to drill a hole with a 1/8" bit. Then I bought the bosch chuck and it works great. |
Four Star Reviews: | 0% There are no reviews yet | 5% Great tool i would recommend it to a friend. October 6, 2016 Overall it work great, but one falt i find is that the reverse is like very slow. I dont know if its how it was design to be, but it take forever to back out. Good quality and drills concrete with ease October 31, 2015 Exactly what I was looking for. Good quality and drills concrete with ease. |
Three Star Reviews: | 0% There are no reviews yet | 2% makita HR2475 Rotary hammer drill. November 28, 2012 The drill is comfortable to use and takes universal bits. I think the drill is too light to be a real tool. It is only suitable for light jobs and those take long. |
Two Star Reviews: | 33% Two Stars March 26, 2017 Used to for three hours, core drilling holes, drill stopped spinning.Sent back for repairs. I have an old demolition Bosch and it has worked great for about 25 years but has gotten weak July 7, 2016 Used it only three times to drive rebar pins into the ground and already stopped hammering. I have an old demolition Bosch and it has worked great for about 25 years but has gotten weak. | 0% There are no reviews yet |

Awesome suction
I owned both vacuums. The Makita is lighter, easier to use, the battery does not keep popping out like in the Dyson (I hated having to keep hitting the battery and restart the vacuum) and the suction is comparable. I will have to buy the carpet nozzle to figure out the pet hair issue (the floor nozzle does not do a good job with pet hair). Dyson picks up the pet hair very well.Iva01545
