Very happy with this!
September 7, 2017
This is really nice little playard, assembles easily in minutes with no tools and goes with every room. I bought one to have at the grandparents' house first and liked it so much I decided to buy the same one for home as a transitional step between my five month old baby's outgrown bassinet and her big-girl crib which will take up way more of our bedroom. The sleeping mat is pretty soft by itself (not to an unsafe degree, but comfortable) and I added a waterproof mattress pad and a playard sheet to make cleanup easier after the inevitable nighttime diaper blowouts and goopy eyes. After she's too heavy to sleep in it (15lbs) it will make a great portable playard. Very easily wheeled and light!
Comfortable and high quality
July 2, 2017
Awesome pack n play. It is NAVY blue as a base color- not black which is what I originally thought but it does not bother me what so ever because I love navy! The mattress that comes with it is surprisingly soft and feels like a small layer of memory foam. With a fitted sheet that would be completely fine and comfortable for baby. Super easy to assemble and take apart- sturdy as well. I bought a travel crib sized memory foam mattress to go inside and it is wonderful and fits perfectly on the bassinet portion of the pack n play while my baby is still young. Would definitely recommend.
We love this thing

We love this thing. We got it for the bassinet portion. So we had somewhere to set our newborn down safe from the toddler and the dog. It's colors are nice. The bassinet is awesome. It's sturdy. The price was decent. I would buy ur again.
Great play-yard! 5 Stars!
May 7, 2016
Very pleased with this product for the money. The colors are way cuter in person. We bought the stratus print. I also added a seperate mattress- that's why the bassinet looks so shallow- just know it doesn't come that way- that's due to the mattress. I like that the wheels allow you to push it from one spot to another without collapsing it. Also, the carry case is nice. The bassinet insert is fabulous & super sturdy. This is honestly why we bought this particular pack n' play model. It was the least expensive of all the Graco Pack n' Plays that had the full size bassinet insert. We did pay just a bit more for the cute print- and I'm glad we did. If you are hesitating- stop- but it now- you won't regret it!
Get one! You'll be glad you did!

I love my Graco pack n playard with bassinet! I truly appreciate a multi functioning baby product that grows with my baby. If there was ever a baby item I couldn’t live without it would have to be this one. Playards are a must-have for any new parent even if you don’t travel often. They are convenient for nap time especially when newborns spend a lot of their day sleeping. The bassinet served its purpose for as long as it could being that I don't have a video monitor it makes it easy to get household chores done and still easily be able to peak at my sleeping baby. The toy bar made it an entertaining place to lay down for her when she wasn't pushing herself up or sitting up on her own yet. The Playard is perfect for babies who are mobile and need to be kept safe it's got very clear line of view so you can still see your baby and she can still see you which was important for my baby, the Graco Pack N Playard with bassinet stores easily in its carrying case with all accessories which makes for easy transport and trust me we take it everywhere! Although the setup instructions are very clear the actual process is quite frustrating be sure not to push down on the lower support bar before you secure the rails and having a second person to help would be a good idea!
Fabulous Product!

VERSION PURCHASED: Graco Pack n Play On the Go Travel Playard (Little Hoot)This is a GREAT Pack N Play! I purchased this as a Baby Shower Gift for my sister as she plans to be on the go a bit after the baby comes, and I wanted a "crib" that could move around with her. I have experience with older Pack N Plays, and was anxious about the Bassinet feature but MAN, I am so happy with it!I received the package today in the original Graco Product Box (no extra shipping box if purchased from Amazon LLC), opened up the box, pulled out the nicely folded up pack n play, unfolded the mat, set that aside, then set up the pack n play within 1 minute, I am NOT exaggerating... I followed the instructions (listed on the back of the mat) and had it up and ready to go within a minute.MEASUREMENTS: GRACO Product Packaging (What it is shipped in) 2' 4" (H) x 10.5" (L) x 10.5" (W) Pack n Play Itself Pack N Play 'Interior Space' is 2' (H) x 3' 2" (L) x 2' 3" (W) Pack N Play Bassinet sits 9.5" inches below the top of the Pack N Play and has the same Width and Length as above. *Note that this leaves about 1' 2" of space under the bassinet for LIGHT storage (the mat is being used in the bassinet, so no solid bottom... be careful not to rip the fabric...The colors are EXACTLY what you see in the picture. Not too bright, natural colors with that touch of teal blue in the owls as well as the mat and stars. The natural colors make sure that this is a gender nutruel item, and that it doesn't clash with it's surroundings. The owls are SUPER cute as well! You can buy standard play yard FITTED sheets (I purchased mine from Target via Circo brand, I personally like the Chevron Grey & White 2-Pack listed at $10 http://www.target.com/p/circo-pack-n-play-play-yard-fitted-sheet-set/-/A-15035976 ). The mat itself is somewhat water proof, and I personally would recommend always using a sheet to prevent the baby from 'sticking' to the mat, hehehe.SIDE NOTE: If your bed is high enough (My guest bedroom bed sits about 2' 3" in height) this can kind of be used as a co-sleeper unit. The side does NOT go down, but the Pack n Play is slightly shorter than the bed and would allow me to roll to the side of the bed, pick up the baby from the bassinet (scoop down a tad) and then easily put the baby back. Also gives a great view of the sleeping baby while you are in bed yourself. So it is a nice option!Again, super happy with this product and may purchase one for myself! A friend is buying one after seeing it today! I have included photos to show the simple and easy to follow instructions, what it actually looks like (including with a sheet on the mat), the product/shipping package, and how it would sit next to the bed as a 'co-sleeper' unit.

I absolutely love this item!
November 27, 2016
I got this foor my daughter right before she was born. I have always loved Graco items and this one definitely gets added to the list. It is easy to set up and the instructions were easy to follow. I loved using the bassinet part when my daughter was a newborn. It made getting her in and out so easy! She never paid attention to the dangling stars, but that could have just been my daughter. She didn't like anything that didn't light up. My daughter is now 14 months and I still use it when we go on vacation and need her to sleep in an enclosed area. It comes with a carrying case, wich makes it nice when needing to travel. I absolutely love this item and would recommend it to all my friends!
A great play pen/bassinet for the money
October 8, 2016
We had an older pack n play we were given that we used for our son... a year after he was born we had our daughter and she needed her own. We bought this and though I could say the build quality seems lower than the one made around a dozen years ago the over all practical use is no worse, it's lighter and easier to transport and looks cuter so it's not something to worry about. Dimensions seem the same. Pretty much the only thing worse is that our son does pull ups on them, the old one he can hang from and it is in no danger of tipping and the new one we wedge behind the couch arm a little because he could pull it over on himself possibly. ... again it's lighter.

Great bassinet though and I'd recommend it. The napper was great when she was very young though now she's outgrown it at 2 months so she use's the whole area which will be great for a long time.
this is wonderful for the price
August 7, 2016
this is wonderful for the price!! I do not have kids but all of my friends do and I think it's important to keep certain things in the home for when friends visit that DO have kids (such as a nice guest room, extra blow up mattress, car seats, etc). this is perfect. I put it together very easily. this is like the original "pack and play" but deluxe! When friends visit, there is not really a "changing area" and for someone like me who keeps things super clean, this solves the problem. friends can come, change their kids on the changing section w/the easy wipe surface, eliminating the need to change on the guest bed or floor! And then it easily converts to any sleeping or play area. wonderful product!
Great Pack 'n Play - Nice Size, Easy to Use, Multi-use
July 8, 2016
I've been using this as my son's main cot, while we have an extended stay with the in-laws (3 months). It's easy to set up and break down (despite the 4 conversations I've had with my husband about "how do you get the d*mn sides to lock?!"), and decently light for travel. I haven't used the bassinet layer in this one, but I love that functionality (as I did use it quite a bit in another travel cot). I purchased the Dream on Me Foam Mattress and it's a great edition, as the bottom mattress is pretty hard. I'd recommend at least a mattress pad for long term use.
love it!
February 21, 2016
oh graco; how many ways do i love thee...
i am happy i went with this playard. it arrived on time in perfect condition.
i did the set up myself at 38 weeks pregnant in under 30 minutes. we put it in the living room at first then moved it to the bedroom. so easy to fold up and move. placed it next to my bed like a co sleeper.
didn't use the changer much (because i'm lazy and i just do it on the bed lol) but when i did it worked fine.
used the main mattress on the side as a storage compartment for nappies and wipes and clothes while she slept in the napper. she didn't always like sleeping in it though - she wants to sleep face down on my chest all the time lol.
but when she was deep asleep we would place her in it and she would sleep till morning.
she's 2 months now and i just took off the napper and emptied the main mattress; now she sleeps there. didn't get an extra mattress; the one that came with it seemed good enough. i did use two bed sheets not one though for extra comfort. they fit perfectly.

when the winter is over we'll move it back downstairs so i can wheel her around in it while i'm in the kitchen.

i still wonder why i bothered getting a crib lol.

Great for travel; mattress sags a bit
August 15, 2017
We've moved 3 times since my son was born 8 months ago; he's slept in one of these things every night of his life. You can't beat them for portability and travel! The mattress on ours sort of sags in the middle, so when we're on the road we put a strong cardboard box under the middle to keep it flat. When we're at home, we have a Dream On Me mattress that we use.
Good for the price
May 8, 2017
Not a bad travel cot. The mattress it comes with is not really a mattress, it's more like a mat. Folds very well and very easy to put together.
Works nice, mattress a little too firm.
April 7, 2017
We used this for a while in place of a bassinet. It works well, but the "mattress" is very firm (far more than infant crib mattresses). In the end we disassembled our big crib to move into our room since he slept better there. But it will be great as our travel crib
Convenient, clever little bed.
March 2, 2017
Very convenient little crib that assembles easily. A fold up mattress, thin layer of foam on a hard backing with covering comes with it which I'm using for the bottom, so it's okay that the foam is a bit uneven in a couple of places. Don't think it will ever be noticed. I purchased a 3" mattress to go on the upper layer mesh where the child will sleep. Or we could use it on the bottom too. The bed is study, lightweight and easy to maneuver about. I think my visiting family with 8 month old will like it. After they leave it will be easy to store until next time. For the price it's a very clever, well-made product.
Yet another very useful and easy-to-use baby item from Graco
June 5, 2016
We got this as a second pack'n'play for our twins. We already had a nicer model pack'n'play we got as a shower gift and have used a ton, especially when the twins were tiny. This model has fewer features, which is fine as we really got it just to use as a second portable crib at grandma's or on vacation. I noticed, though, that the seams are not as nicely finished on the inside, and it's somewhat harder to snap the bottom mat to the supports underneath; the straps are just a tiny bit shorter. Still, it's a quality item we're very glad to have and are getting great use out of.
Great buy!
August 23, 2015
We wanted something that we could put in the living room for our son to nap in or partake in his favorite past time-having deep conversations with the ceiling fan. After pulling it out of the box it took about ten minutes, probably less to get it put together completely, very simple and parent friendly. The bassinet portion along with the whole set is very sturdy, well put together and great quality. I put a travel diaper changer down to change his diapers and he's very content, much more so than when we change him on his actual Serta changing pad. We haven't been able to have him nap in it but he hasn't napped anywhere but our arms so we can't say it's because of the Pack n Play. He will lay in it for a little while here and there and chew the fat with his bestie, the ceiling fan. We're glad we purchased this one and not the one with the napped/changer. Our son is over a month old and we wouldn't have gotten much use out of it, this one however I see us using a lot. We are very satisfied with this product.

Great for visiting Grandchild
May 11, 2017
Great for a visiting grandchild. We purchased this to have a place for our 4 month old granddaughter to nap and sleep. Putting it together was not bad, even easier if I had looked at the directions first. Feels sturdy and safe for an infant. It took me a while to figure out the changing table/napper part and how to rotate it. The size was an inch to big, when assembled, to fix thru a doorway, and I had to remove the door, which was easier than breaking the bed down. Depending on space needs, we may just leave it assembled. It would be a pain to break down daily. Overall. I think this is a good, safe option.
Good Unit...once it is correctly assembled!
May 9, 2017
The assembly is complicated due to some safety features so look up the assembly video on YouTube instead of trying to use the difficult paper instructions! Once correctly assembled, everything works perfectly as advertised. So unit is 5 stars, but confusing paper instructions make it 4 stars overall. Graco should include a DVD or direct buyers to Youtube for easier assembly to correct this issue, as new parents don't need extra problems to add to the new demands of a newborn on their time and nerves! I hope this referral to Youtube to assemble helps save the added frustration for others!
Large, fairly easy to assemble
March 13, 2017
Very cute. Excited to setup in our bedroom for the up coming arrival of our May baby!

Removing the bassinet/diaper changer is a bit clunky. We intend to take it off and actually put in our bed to allow baby to sleep safely between us, with easy access. Not sure though.

Any how, excellent price. Assume it will resell well after Baby outgrows it!
Very nice for the price.
March 6, 2017
My husband put this together and had a tough time getting the seat together but aside from that, the assembly wasn't bad at all. The reason for the four stars is because it is a little tough to spin the changing station/seat around without using both hands. It is only like this because it is so close to the mat beneath it. Other than that, it is beautiful and we love it.
Perfect for newborns-toddlers!
July 9, 2016
I'm planning on using this instead of a bassinet by our bed for the first few months. It was fairly simple to set up. The napper/changer CAN be removed very simply... if you assembled it you can take it apart ;) . I do wish that the napper side was made of a more plush, soft material, and I really want to find a cover for it because it doesn't seem like a very comfortable material for sleeping on. It would be great if they matched the green in the playard part for the napper! I also haven't figured out if you can fold the napper/changer up into everything when it's stored in the bag. When you flip the napper/changer it sort of gets stuck on the mattress. When it was made they should have tried to make it switch easier, and not hit the mattress every time it flips.

Great product but smells like chemicals
August 3, 2017
The product itself is well built. However it smells absolutely horrible. Like chemicals. It has since the day we took it out of the box. I ended up purchasing something else because I didn't want the baby breathing whatever was used in the production of this product. Very disappointed.
It is what it is....
November 27, 2016
This thing didn't last as quite as long as I would have liked to hope for. Cumbersome to carry and made shottily. Very heavy for an item that is not made so well. I did end up getting enough use out of it, but I always wished I had spent a few more bucks on a better one!
okay
May 20, 2016
I find this to be a pain in the butt to fold up and unfold. It's also pretty bulky. This design is cute but having the white background behind the design makes me nervous about how well it will clean up as time goes on.
nice product but rough net.
October 5, 2015
Really easy to assemble, i would ve given it 5 stars but the net is really rough and not soft, my baby girl Broke several nails trying to hold on to it.
What's up with the huge center ridge?
September 3, 2015
It holds 30lbs, not 40 as I'd originally read online. This was disappointing, as I'd specifically bought it for my rather active little guy who is just over 30 and loves to jump after reading that this was one of the few that went up to 40#'s. I'm still using it, but I can imagine that sooner or later we'll be getting cracks in the bottom pad. My really big pet peeve though is the ridiculously large ridge that forms in the very center of the 'mattress'. No matter how I try to pull the padding, it reforms! It goes away when you fold it all up nice and tidy for transport, but as soon as you lay it flat again it's back. I can imagine how uncomfortable it must be to lay on, which is why I'm on here, reviewing the product while I search for an appropriately sized mattress to go in there now. I have never had this issue with any of the other playards we have used. Other than that it's sturdy and I love the snaps for the bottom so kiddos can't pull the pad up.Just be ready to buy a mattress and hope it fits in there well if you buy this particular playard. I don't think I'd do a mattress though for an infant under 12months as it's an added item not tested with this particular product for safety.
Pack n play - easy to use, install, etc.
June 24, 2014
I would say that this pack n play is useful. I thought the top part was only useful for a short period of time, probably because we also had a separate co sleeper anyhow, and didn't use this that much. However, we do use the bottom level a lot, esp when travelling. That said, you can buy just the bottom one for a lot cheaper at walmart (40 bucks for any style you like).with regards to this particular pack n play style, i have comments similar to others- relatively light, about 3 pounds heavier than the baby bjorn which is almost 3x as expensive)- easy to set up and fold down (esp if you are NOT using the top attachment, but only the bottom)- I like the wheels to wheel it around- it feels fairly sturdyThings i liked better than the baby bjorn- the sides are low, more mesh, so I felt like the babies were safer sleeping there (heard about this horrific and terrible incident involving a baby suffocating in playard that had high walls)- very very sturdy, feels sturdier than bjorn- has wheelsAnother additional benefit is that it's a fun toy to place with. My daughter likes to stick her face against the mesh and make funny faces. It's pretty damn hilarious

Pack 'n Play? Great. Unpackable changer thingy? Hate carting it around separately.
April 21, 2017
There's no way to store the napper/changing table with the Pack 'n Play, so you end up lugging around this loud jangly thing that snags on everything and has rods poking out. Really don't like that. The main part of the Pack 'n Play works great, although I wish the tolerances on the snaps were a little looser, as my wife hasn't been able to set this up on her own a couple times. Eventually, I'll solve this by hitting 'em with a heat gun, but it hasn't come to that yet.
I don't like that the only way to remove the reversible changing ...
April 18, 2017
Sides were a bit tricky to snap together at first. The reversible changing table/sleeper attachment was a pain to get put together personally. Also, I don't like that the only way to remove the reversible changing attachment seems to be to take off the bassinet clip to un-clip the changing attachment. Otherwise, this works great to put the baby down for a nap.
Liked it
January 8, 2017
Love the bassinet portion, hated the changing table option. It's cumbersome and is a pain to put together. If I were to do it all over I would get just the pack and play with bassinet option, no napper/changer thing.
Bassinet assembly isn't easy and unit has an odor
June 8, 2015
This is a review of the assembly process since we haven't used this yet.
The play yard part was easy. Pull up the side rails till they lock into place and repeat for the short ends.
The exasperating assembly came with the 'napper/changer' accessory. The unit I received had one of the end pieces secured to the napper already. The problem was that is was attached backwards which made connecting the side rails a bit confusing at the start. Further complicating was that it is IMPOSSIBLE to line up the side rails with it already attached! My mistake was assuming that the problem was with my ability to follow directions.
I did find a video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rvuf9rsADGw) that I should have watched before I began. Anyway, it is together now.
There is a definite odor to this. I'm hoping that airing it out will resolve that issue. But I'm keeping the packaging in case I have to send it back.
Good for what I need, but could be better.
June 11, 2014
We bought this Baby Pack 'n Play for our new grandson when he visits us. It works for what we need right now, but the directions could have been explained more clearly instead of using pictures that were hard to make out what they were illustrating. Some directions were left out when they should have been written out - like to make sure you put the napper/changer on the end opposite the wheels. This wasn't mentioned until you get to that, although it made a difference when you attached the bassinet to the playard. It could have been simpler. Also, connecting the metal inserts into the napper wasn't easy, especially if you had them upside down because you couldn't make out what the picture was illustrating! It wasn't always easy to flip the changer to the napper either. If I had to rely on this to be used everyday, I would look for something else, but since it is just for visits, it does it's job, although at the rate our grandson is growing, the changing table won't hold him too much longer as it's pretty small!

March 29, 2016
VERY disappointed that Pack N Plays are so hard to put together. Though I've used the crap out of this product, putting it together was awful. I will never buy another one again.
You get what you pay for.
July 9, 2012
I bought this model to replace my old Fisher Price model after my 4-yr-old broke the side rail climbing out. My second child is 10 months old and past the newborn stage so I was looking for a play yard without the bassinet, mobile, changing station, etc. that come with more expensive models. Even though this came with the bassinet it was rated well and was very inexpensive so I went for it. I set it up immediately upon arrival and was just as immediately disappointed. The feature that bothered me the most was the floor pad and how poorly it fit into the bottom. In my Fisher Price play yard the pad anchored under 4 corner pockets and hardly came up at all. Also in the FP model, the pad sat firmly on the leg braces making a very stable floor for sleeping or playing. In this Graco model the floor does have velcro anchors that attach it to the bottom nylon but the floor could still be pulled up despite being velcoed down. Also, the bottom hangs an inch or so above the support rods something like a hammock which did not make a very stable floor on which to stand or sit. The combination of the floor not anchoring securely and the hammock effect made the floor push up on the side of the play yard the baby wasn't on. I just didn't think it would be comfortable or completely safe so I sent it back. I have since purchased a Graco Element Pack n Play - Erin that has the corner pockets inside the play area and has tabs on the bottom of the floor pad that come through the floor and snap the pad down to the cross braces. It also has the velcro tabs which pull through like the cheaper model. The Element model was almost twice as expensive but, as I said, you get what you pay for.
Very strong smell of mildew.
May 19, 2011
I received the playard three weeks ago and still have not been able to completely get rid of the very strong mildew odor. I have washed all the parts of this playard with several recommended remedies to rid it of the odor but none have been effective in doing so. I don't know where this item was stored before it was shipped but it is dangerous to distribute items for babies or anyone else in this condition. Mildew can be very dangerous if not deadly to people with allergies and respiratory ailments. Babies especially should not be exposed to any odors as strong as this was. The only reason I did not return this item was because I knew that I would only get another one exactly like it. I am not happy wih this purchase . I think that all items should be inspected for problems such as this before they are shipped especially in light of the fact that many people pay extra for express shipping only to get something they can't use. Another thing is that I know Graco products and I am sure that this is not defect in manufacturing.

Hard set up and napper/changer unit doesn't flip easy
June 3, 2017
Set up was hard; my husband had to hit the bars to make them stay up. The reversible napper/changer is not easy to flip; push button then pull up. When reversing the napper/changer it hits the bed and almost removes the sheet. The mobiles are only velco; probably won't use. I would not recommend this specific playard. It will probably work well as a play pen.

I chose this graco pack and play playard because I found it very interesting that it had the stars to help my baby with visual things. I loved it when I saw the picture, but now that I built up my portable crib I found out that the thing that called my attention the most didn't come with the portable crib.

May 19, 2016
Overall this a nice piece of gear the only issue which is big for me is the changing area is canted to one side. This causes my daughter to slide all the way to the left when I try and change her. I have double checked the instructions and how I installed it and everything is correct. This is a huge bummer to me and I have been unable to get anyone at Graco to help me replace this part.
I've used this for a year and a half now ...
February 19, 2016
I've used this for a year and a half now. The bar in the middle started sticking up into the bottom laying surface within 6 months, making it uncomfortable to lay in the middle. The buttons for setting up the sides are also finicky and make it difficult to set up at times.
Poor design.
January 4, 2015
This was disappointing, to say the least.

Installing the changer/napper requires the installation of the bassinet. Unfortunately, you can't actually use the bassinet with the changer/napper installed. While I had no trouble flipping the changer/napper and securing it, removing the changer/napper is not easy to do.

Having a weight limit of 15 lbs on both the changer/napper AND the bassinet is absurd. Babies need to be changed over the weight of 15 pounds,. I have taken the changer/napper off completely so my granddaughter, who is just at 15 lbs, can sleep in the bassinet and I am using a travel changing pad to change her diaper in the bassinet. In a short time she will have outgrown the bassinet, and that means finding someplace else to change her diaper.

Graco had a playard with a changing "table" that attached to one end of the playard and worked great, and was usable for a baby up to a year old. I wish they still made it. I am going to see if I can find a used one.

It has a verse strong musty or like a mildew smell to it. I even tried to air it out before I put my baby in it but the smell didn't go away so I am in the process of returning it.

Friend has the same one and says hers is not like mine. Very dissapointing
April 7, 2017
The napper and diaper changing area is crooked. I am going to call and make a complaint. My daughter nearly rolled off. I made sure it was on cocorrectly. Friend has the same one and says hers is not like mine. Very dissapointing. The instructions miss a lot of key points that are vital. I dont know who made those instructions but they need to go back to grade school and learn to be better detailed. Babies safety are at risks.
Buttons on the sides malfunction before 4 months
October 20, 2016
The whole purpose of it is to colapse easily and be moved without the hassle of a regular crib. The buttons on each side get stuck, one of them is stuck colapsed and the other one stuck straight; now my baby is almost 4 months old, the return policy is... you guessed it, 3 months. I cannot return it.

VERY DIFFICULT TO PUT TOGETHER! AND I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS TO A "T"...HAVE UT MANY TOGETHER BEFORE. THIS WAS THE EXCEPTION ESPECIALLY FOR THE ADDED ACCESSORY WHICH I FELT THE BABY COULD TILT OUT OF.
Very disappointed with GRACO
October 10, 2015
The reversible nappier and changer does not work! Once you assemble it gets stuck and the latches does not work, You either have the crib or only use it for nappier or changer. Only one choice, all tree does not work together. Very cute but badly engineered. Very disappointed with GRACO.
Terrible napper/changer, hard to set up
May 19, 2014
This is the worst pack n play. We sent it back immediately and got the baby trend one because we already had a baby trend one that worked well, and it is much better than this graco! The napper/changer slants to the front when its on the changing side, it barely sits above the pack and play mat so there's no point in even having the changer so you don't have to bend over. The napper side lays flat but you can't use it to change because it has a very soft and not stain resistant material. I wouldn't even feel safe putting my daughter in the napper to sleep though. It doesn't seems sturdy at all.
