My 8 year old loved it. Although the feather head piece was not as pictured and did not stay on like the picture.

My daughter is 51", 72# and I ordered a Large. I wanted to make sure she had enough coverage and that it wasn't too tight. It does seem to be too large but since the material is pretty stretchy it still fits nicely. Best part of getting it too large, the skirt is longer! The colors are gorgeous and it is, overall, a really well made costume.

This was a birthday present for my 7 year old son. He loves it. He is an average sized 7 year old and it fit him perfectly.

We gave this to our 3 year old grandson, and he loves it! It is well-made and realistic. The only problem is that he won'tctake it off!

My son wears this over and over again. I've had to sew some of the seams because it started coming apart when we first got it. However, it's held up ever since I did it.

My five-year old son wore this to a costume-themed birthday party at a bounce house event - needless to say, this was tested to its limits of fit and comfort! The fit was perfect and the placement of all the muscles and designs was spot-on. During the four hours he had it on, he never once asked to take it off or complained of discomfort. He only took the mask off after about an hour of bouncing and dunking basketballs, so that tells you they really can see pretty well through the mask. Would definitely recommend this for any little wanna-be wall crawler.

It's a little big for a there year old but so cute! He has worn it all day and doesn't want to take it off. Great quality!

My kid loves being Superheros! We added this to his dress up box last Xmas. He loves it! It's a typical costume quality but I really like that the mask was material instead of that cheap plastic with a rubber band that you can't breathe out. Overall I would buy again if I needed too.

This costume is very brightly colored. The material is ok. For the price, I don't know what people expect. The collar material is very stiff and scratchy, to the point where I see my child taking it off before too long. However, I see why it has to be stiff for it to stand up though. The headpiece is not made of the best quality either, but I can make it work somehow. The costume looks pretty much like the picture and the colors are the same too. I can see my daughter enjoying this a lot.

Great costume

I ordered the size recommended for my 4 year old. I ordered it by the weight ranges. Runs a bit small. The skirt part kept riding up at the waist for her. The neck ruffle didn't line up right. One side rested lower than other side so it looked crocked. 4 year old love it though.

If you expect this for one time use then go for it. Otherwise, spend the money carefully.Costume arrived slightly different from the pic.1) Head piece is completely disappointing, I reordered a much well structured finer feather piece to go with it.2) The neck piece is super uncomfortable if your child has sensitive skin. I had to remove it eventually.3) The wing attached to the lower back looks cheap, which was also removed and replaced with real feather wing purchased separately.For the money I spent, I have no complaint about the costume itself. Make sure to steam iron the costume for better result.

This peacock costume is just as pictured. It is exactly what you should expect from a $20 costume, it is a great inexpensive costume for my daughter for Halloween. She is 7 and loves this costume. She is super excited to wear it for her school Halloween parade! The feathers are actually quite pretty and the dress itself was very cute! I will say however that the hat thing just has a small comb attached to it so it really doesn't stay on her head right, but I will just attach it to a headband or something and it will be fine!

Got these for our grandson. He loved them along with his spider man costume. It helped complete the look. The site was perfect for him. He is 8. He's very slim. Noproblem with the fit.

Overall a great costume! The size runs a little bit small, I got this for my 9 year old daughter who normally wears a size 7/8 and this costume fit her pretty well. I would suggest if your child is a size 10 you should really consider going up a size to a large. The material is a little bit on the thin side and there are only two small Velcro closures on the back (you may need a safety pin) but this is a great choice for the price!

My 3 year old loves it! The material seems to be holding up well so far, and he has spent many hours in it. No runs!However, the velcro pieces on the back are small and thin, so the costume tends to open often, which causes it to shift. Also, the mask does not have much breathing room, so we just made the holes for the nose bigger, and he has been able to wear comfortably for long periods of time.

Although they did not match the spider man costume, my four year old nephew loved them. They are not as big as the picture would lead you to believe. They have to be worn barefoot or worn inside the shoes as they are too small to go over the shoes.There is a piece of velcro that is meant for closing the top portion. but it does not stretch and was too small for my four year old's legs.

Great Shirt, the quality is ok but my son loved the mask. I just need to be careful when drying the shirt in order to keep the print intact.

My son loves this costume, i had to fix it a bit because it was too big for him but we made it work!

We only tried it on once when I didn't really have much time. My 10-year-old was looking forward to beinga peacock for Halloween, but she just doesn't like it that much. The headpiece looks really odd and I will need to figure out how to keep itup on her head. So maybe I shouldn't be posting a review yet..... But you can't beat the price for this...... The other thing that I missed in the picture is that the tail feathers are attached to the hands, so if you don't have your hands up and out the tail feather are not spread out and you basicallyjust look like you have a cute green and purple dress on, so I am thinking about trying to construct something that will keep them up and out - maybe a longer piece of wood or so.......

Super cute got lots of compliments on her costume. However she complained it was very very itchy. Will be great if she could wear long sleeve under. It fits to size.

It was very cute and was easy to dress into. The headpiece was covered in what I think is glue and was folded. But overall the dress wasn't too short, like other costumes, it came about every inches above the knee. To get rid of wrinkles all you have to do is hang it up for a day or two.

Thought I would order the large for my in-between sized 10 year-old. I went with the size 12, but should have gone down and stuck with the medium. It was way too big. But the quality was expected for the price, and the face that it was only being used for Halloween.

Was a cute costume, but fell apart the first time trying it on. I had to sew the "tail" back onto the velcro first, and then the straps on the arms fell off and I had to sew those back on, and then the hair piece fell apart. Could use some quality control on this product, prior to putting on market.

Not as pretty as it looks in the picture. The hair piece has a cheap plastic and took several Bobby pins to hold in. It's also one-sided so from the back its just a large piece of felt. The collar is just tulle and doesn't stand up at all. My daughter was very disappointed because that was her favorite part of the costume.

runs small :( looks good but didint fit my kid he was so disappointed he was expecting to used on his b-day i order the large it said is 10-12 my son is 9 it was very small for him

Are not boot covers. Fits more like slipper socks. Would have given it two stars if my son had not liked them so much.

My son was pleased with this so we kept it, but I am very frustrated that it is regal was pictured. I chose this costume vs the others because the bottoms had the actual Spider-Man design instead of being plain blue. Of course we recieved a costume with plain blue legs. Also the red of the hood is a different shade than the red of the costume. It's the little things, and this costume fails on those. It's made about as well as any of them though,but will get us through Halloween.

The mask only had small holes for the nose. Not very practical if you want a child to wear it for a long period of time. I had to cut around the nose and mouth so my son would be able to wear it for Halloween.

They were a different shade of red, didn't match the costume at all .

Cute- my toddler grandkids will like them. Kind of flimsy so not sure how long they'll last. But I knew to expect that, thanks to comments by the other reviewers.

Costume is cute but head piece looks nothing like the photo and the quality is poor.

I ordered a large and got a medium. Needed it by friday morning so wasn't happy as I don't believe it will fit my daughter.

no one even new what she was. the wing handles broke first wear. it was too big on her. the hair thing did not stay in..she ended up wearing her last years costume an we went as vampires because we were so board with this costume.

Cute in theory but doesn't fit/look like picture. Dress is way longer, so you don't see the ""feathers" below.Headpiece is NOT as shown. Disappointing!

the collar rips very easily even with gentle straightening- the picture is 1000 times better than in person. it's just really ok... wouldn't recommend or buy again

Ripped within an hour of wearing it

These gloves fit very weird on my 5 year olds hands. The finger length is perfect but they are big as well as the rest of the glove. Keep looking.

The costume itself was wonderful. The mask was a size to small. I had to cut the back of it so that my son's head could fit and he could see out of it.

Way too big for a child! They fit me and I'm an adult woman. Also, flimsy - for costume only an will not keep warm. We doubled-up and put real gloves on underneath for Halloween trick or treat (the only benefit to them being massively sized!)

The red is actually a very nice color, just hard to match. The socks gather at the ankle, lacks in the quality department.

Quality of fabric and color are good, but costume is not true to size. Mask is too small/snug on head, does not cover neck and offers little visibility. Will be returning.

It was nothing like pictured and people didn't know what my daughter was suppose to be, the material was cheap and the headpiece is not what was in the picture.

Did not receive the headpiece in the package. Very cheap looking costume.

The tailpiece to this costume needs to be re-sound onto the Velcro because it's off Also the headpiece looks nothing like the one shown in the picture

Purchased this and it came torn. Purchased a replacement and it came with a seam at the waist sewn incorrectly so it looks funny. Very disappointed and my 4 year old was super upset!

Material is absolutely horrible

This item was for an 8 year old so I ordered the medium and it fits right on. But as soon as my little brother put this on, holes began to open up all over the custom this was horrible! I have ordered customs from Rubies before and this is my first bad experience.

Huge!!!! The package says for ages 8+ but that is nowhere on the description here.

These were too big on the wrists for little kids. Wish they were tighter.
