Five Star Reviews: | 76% they don't like to stay in their spots August 19, 2017 After I had a first aid kit of mine be "borrowed" by my parents, and never returned, it was time to get my hands on another one - they are handy after all, I purchased this. Has a lot of items in it, they don't like to stay in their spots, and I've only gotten to use it 3 times, I find this very useful. Every house should have one handy, this one feels well rounded. First Aid kit March 7, 2017 This first aid kit is excellent and filled with many necessary items. This is the third kit I have ordered. As advertised March 6, 2017 As advertised. Contains most necessary emergency first aid supplies needed for home. Handy case. Great Bang for Your Buck! February 22, 2017 Awesome kit!!!! Great size to hold a lot of stuff. Latches keep it well closed. Sturdy box. Came well stocked but with a little re-arranging, I was even able to add the items from my smaller kit. Has everything you could need for home first aid! Great First Aid Kit December 1, 2015 I've slowly been accumulating bandages, gauze and would care sprays but I always just use them up and then my tiny first aid kit is empty again. So I went looking for a bigger first aid kit to have on hand for those times I need to find something fast. It really doesn't do me any good to have gauze, medical tape and bandages if they are in a small pouch hidden under other stuff in the back of my hall closet and it never fails, that's where it is when I go to look for something. This kit has everything I will need for a very long time and it even has a quick reorder sheet in the event that I use stuff up and need to replace it. When I opened this first aid kit, I saw a whole bunch of bandages, tape ect. Then realized that there was more on the bottom!More bandages, an ice pack ect. This first aid kit is packed with everything a person would need. My husband has Aids so I always have rubber gloves and bandages on had in case he cuts himself and needs help bandaging his cut up. I also keep a mini kit in my purse at all times with gloves, gauze and medical tape in case we are out together and he needs a bandage. He also keeps bandaids in his wallet at all times, so we go through a lot of bandaids and bandages because he has really thin skin and he bleeds really easily, so something like this kit comes in real handy for us.Plus I have a 2 year old grandson who lives near me and I know from experience that kids get scrapes and cuts all the time so I know this first aid kit will come in handy with him around. | 64% Great buy for the price and functionality August 22, 2017 Great buy for the price and functionality. Look to buy another one for travel. Most everything you need is in the case. I'm sure it would be fine on a belt loop as well March 21, 2017 Covers your basics and is small enough to fit in a backpack or to clip onto a bicycle. I'm sure it would be fine on a belt loop as well, though perhaps a tad annoying because while it's small it isn't exactly tiny. I keep this in my car under a seat in case of emergencies and take it out for other activities. The case is hard and durable enough that it has fared well in normal camping, hiking, biking, etc. wear and tear. Great for any outdoorsman January 29, 2017 I bought this for my boyfriend who's an avid hiker. The description was right on target for what's in the package. It's small and light weight and comes with a carbeaner. The tools and medical supplies are perfect for any outdoorsman in general. I highly recommend this product. This is so compact yet filled with so many essentials ... August 27, 2016 This is so compact yet filled with so many essentials first aid items that are needed!!! We will be taking this on our camping trip this next week and hopefully will not be needing it for obvious reasons, but it is there just in case!!!!Upon returning from our week out in the wilderness I will fill you in with another review! Hopefully, we will not have to use this, but it is comforting to know we will have it just in case. Nice for small party on a camping trip or hike. March 2, 2016 This is a kit I picked up for trekking with my son. The hard case is nice and includes more than what I was expecting. There is little room for adding items to the kit, but can be shifted around to accommodate smaller things like lip balm, itch cream or several single dose packages of aspirin or allergy meds. Great little Kit! July 9, 2015 Get kit for home, car or camping. I have used it to treat minor injuries. For that purpose, it is great. I intend to purchase a bag at some point and add cold packs, Ace bandages and other items to augment this kit. |
Four Star Reviews: | 15% Excellent first aid kit June 2, 2017 Excellent first aid kit. Comes with all the items you'd expect in a first aid kit but my gripe is with the internal construction of the case. There are separators that snap into place to keep the items separated but they don't stay in place very well. I've opened the kit 5 or 6 times and half the time a separator has gotten loose and I end up having to re-organize the kit because items got jumbled together. Good value June 2, 2017 This is a very sturdy first aid kit with lots of itemsI bought it on a deal of the day and think it is a good value Nice kit that should cover most emergencies. May 25, 2017 Really nice starter kit for the price. As with a lot of these pre-assembled kits, some of the items are very cheap. I ended up replacing some of the items and adding other items with name brand and of better quality products. Good product May 19, 2017 Bought this for me beach house where we have renters. It arrived safely so I imagine it is fine. I have not personally seen it? I love how well organized it is May 1, 2017 Received today, and I would have given it 5 stars if it also included a CPR facemask. Other than that, I love how well organized it is, and easily accessible. i like the contents of the kit September 10, 2016 i like the contents of the kit, but the separator try can be lifted if you are sorting through it quickly, you know, like in an emergency. so the contents start sliding into each others spaces. but it is a well equipped kit in a nice case | 25% Perfect for backcountry hiking April 4, 2017 Pretty much has everything you need as a backcountry hiker except blister treatment which I added. Solid case and easy to store, I would buy this again. OK for a starter March 25, 2017 Well designed and light and secure closure.Multiple useful items, that I will re-arrange and add to the kit. Good for the price. 👌 January 26, 2016 This kit comes with a good amount of medical supplies. The only things I changed out were the cheap scissors and tweezers. Also I added some things. The case is very good quality and holds a lot if you rearrange it. 💉💊🏨💼 Excellent for off-roading kit, minus the tweezers. They are useless. November 1, 2015 Excellent off-roading kit! My only complaint is the blunt end plastic tweezers, I cant see these being helpful at all, so I added my own metal point tipped tweezers. Good value for a basic kit February 10, 2014 I needed a small first aid kit to keep in my gear bag with some basic supplies. This one is well stocked with the essentials and still is small enough not to take up too much space. The only things I would note as absent from the supplies would be some antibiotic ointment, ibuprofen and acetaminophen. Other than that it has a good stock of bandages in just about every size. Some sterile dressings, butterfly closures, small scissors, tweezers and alcohol pads mean that it should work for most small cuts and scrapes. Should be good enough for most people who just need something small and light. Add some pain relievers and you should be good to go. |
Three Star Reviews: | 5% Like, barely scraped my knee small October 23, 2017 It's an ok kit...not really what I was expecting. Case itself is flimsy as heck, and everything in there is for small wounds. Like, barely scraped my knee small. Had to order other bandages and stuff to put in it. You get what you pay for... July 9, 2017 It's ok i thought it would have had more stuff and when I opened it to look inside it was very messy Almost, as if, it had been tampered with or something. I was a little disappointed but for the price it's worth it. My advise would be to make your own if looking for more or less of a specific item. Ok for minor stuff May 2, 2017 Bought this for our family RV. Was a bit disappointed how things fell out of their positions in the kit. Wasnt quite what I was looking for. I can buy most of this at Walmart Basic but very skimpy supplies December 2, 2016 love the box but the included supplies are not in the size I expected Just ok November 29, 2016 The hinges are not very strong and not very well made, they broke so I can no longer use it hanging up and had to buy a tool box to put my first aid items in... should have done that from the start and save myself some $$ | 7% In case you cut yourself October 17, 2017 Attractive and sturdy red case. Mostly bandages of various sizes. Some analeptics wipes, blunt sissors, tape a pick, and a plastic whistle. Pretty basic stuff. Not really Large...but well designed July 16, 2017 Well designed good quality box...I would call it large...unless I was a Lilliputian but I was very disappointed that it didn't come with burn cream August 11, 2016 It was ok, but I was very disappointed that it didn't come with burn cream. On our camping trip, my niece burned one of her fingers on a metal roasting fork and we didn't have the cream. I guess, I should have checked the kit prior to the trip. Adequate June 7, 2016 Not the greatest and not the worst. Has basic essentials but could have a lot more to offer. Liked that it came with carabiner though. Large?????? October 6, 2015 Large??????? This kit is tiny compared to any First Aid Kit I have ever owned. Nice case but unimpressive otherwise. |
Two Star Reviews: | 2% Plastic tool box with wipes... May 19, 2017 $35 for a bunch of handi-wipes, some bandages and ointments. You could duplicate this for less than $20.I do like the packaging though. For that, you get two.. Very basic buy better to be more prepared February 5, 2017 As a person who spent time in EMS I find a good first aid kid is best thing to have in your house. My wife always seems to hurt herself a lot so I try to have many bandages wraps ect around. This kit is very very basic. It goes on the cheap side and is basic. I hoped for more wraps and rolled bandages not off brand band aids and off brand aspirin. I feel if you just want a basic boo boo kit this is perfect. If you want to be prepared for the worst itll be worth spending more for a better kit. The majority of the pieces are just basic ones that we all have tons of. Lots of good items in it but the container is garbage December 9, 2016 Lots of good items in it but the container is garbage. I went to open it and it fell apart. Now everything is scattered and a mess. I was hoping for a bit better quality for the price. Two Stars June 5, 2016 Pretty cheap supplies inside this kit, I was not very happy with the quality... Expires in less than a year. Since unable to ... March 22, 2016 Expires in less than a year. Since unable to return, I will have to spend additional costs to replace expired items. | 2% Hard shell first aid kit August 2, 2017 I ordered 2 and they came on time. Purchased them for rental homes and was disappointed they were so sparse. I did have some room to add things. Doesn't even include ordinary size band-aids. There are tiny ... August 22, 2016 Doesn't even include ordinary size band-aids. There are tiny ones for paper cuts and huge ones for major road rash, but nothing for normal cuts and abrasions. It weighs more than i would like and now that i have it and can see ... March 30, 2015 Not impressed by this item. I was looking for something lite weight and rugged for backpacking. It weighs more than i would like and now that i have it and can see what's in it i should have gone with the trail head one in a soft case. It is as described but woyld better suit the trunk of a car than for backpacking. Don't judge a kit by the case May 7, 2013 Bought this kit for hiking/camping for its size and the listed items. Upon opening I am very disappointed. The case is nice, hard-shell and seemingly durable with internal pockets for organized storage, but that's the extent of the usefulness. The scissors look like 1st grade safety scissors, the tweezers are dull edged and laughable, the first aid instructions small and common sense knowledge, and the rest is basically a piece-meal band-aid selection and moist towelettes (some of which say "sting relief"). The only reason I'm not returning it is because for the price it makes more sense to keep the case and build my own emergency kit from separate pieces. This would only be effective against minor cuts and scrapes, maybe a mosquito bite or two. Outside of that you're going to be in a world of hurt with this set up. |
One Star Reviews: | 2% Not worth even half the price June 20, 2017 Bad deal, basically a plastic box with numerous cheap bandaids - 100s of them and little else. I returned the item. it will break easily. The dividers inside are poor quality and easily ... July 8, 2016 this is not a hard and durable case, it will break easily. The dividers inside are poor quality and easily became disconnected causing all the items to be scattered inside the case. I dont have a problem with the items but the case itself makes this a very poor selection Otherwise it had a lot of things in the kit that was good. August 20, 2014 The top of case had a crack in it, so it's not aid tight, that is important if I take it out on a boat or emergency were it could get wet. I'm returning it. Otherwise it had a lot of things in the kit that was good. Expired and damaged February 20, 2013 Ordered 2 and the items both arrived with no extra packing and were both damaged. Also, the items are several years old and expire too soon (August 2013 = 5 months from now) to be of any long term use. | 2% Poor quality items October 17, 2017 Poor quality items. I bought this and pretty much replaced all the items. The only positive I can give it is its case is decent. Looks good but poor quality August 27, 2015 Looks good but poor quality . Lots of "stuff" but really 2nd rate . Bandages are terrible , cant even open packets .what would you do in an emergency? Its not waterproof June 14, 2011 The case is not waterproof.. and if it rains your kit will be ruined. Not worth the money spent on it. |
