Five Star Reviews: | 43% | 70% Nice Beginner or part time user cue and good packaging January 9, 2015 The package arrived on time and the pool cue works great. I would recommend this product. Be careful! I dropped the cue and it splintered. The end near the tip is a little thin. good stick March 5, 2014 Stick is very straight and the correct weight. It came exactly when it was promised. I am very happy with this stick |
Four Star Reviews: | 20% But this was the perfect length for him as the adult pool sticks is ... November 28, 2016 Bought this for my son for Christmas wasn't sure that it would for him since he's only 7. But this was the perfect length for him as the adult pool sticks is way to long for him. He isn't short for his age either and is actually pretty tall for his age. But these pool sticks are pretty even as well and aren't bent or bowed. works way better and sturdy August 22, 2016 One of the sticks broke, but was because one of the kids stepped on it. Otherwise, a decent product. Kids grew out of it, have had it for a while now. Not using the other stick anymore, got a 48 inch stick from ozone billiards for them, works way better and sturdy. Decent stick. Only reason for 4 stars is you ... October 3, 2015 Decent stick. Only reason for 4 stars is you don't get to chose the oz size. I bought 4 and they aren't all the same. Also they shipped me 4 huge boxes when all 4 sticks could have fit in one | 18% Perfect aside from minuscule damage November 18, 2016 The cue is beautiful, just as expected and as pictured as advertised. I like everything about it, aside from the dings in it when I pulled it out of the box.It appeared that it was damaged while inside the plastic wrapping it came in, as there were slashes in the plastic where the cue was also damaged. The damages are quite small however, and I plan on keeping the cue. The black area where it is damaged can be touched up a bit with something, and the damaged spot in the wood isn't too noticeable. This cue would have been perfect, had there not been a couple damaged spots on it! I would recommend it to others. Hopefully I was just unlucky with the small imperfections; maybe it isn't a common occurrence. Good Value for the Money, High-gloss finish and Excellent Feel in the Hands. July 31, 2015 We just moved, and the house we bought had a pool table in the basement. Wow, what a bonus! Not so bonusey was finding out that I needed all new billiard sticks because the ones left behind were (ahem) "junk".I don't like to buy cheap stuff very often--I usually try to buy the middle- or high-end brand of an item. Well, I don't know much about billiard sticks, but I figured I couldn't go wrong with Canadian Maple, eh?I was RIGHT (again!). This stick is fantastic! It comes in two pieces (as advertised) for quick and easy transport. I don't plan to transport mine anywhere other than the entertainment room, but it's good to know I can. What I love about these sticks:1. Portable2. Very smooth finish (easily glides between your hands)3. Nice tips--fairly flat4. Beautiful design on handle5. Perfect weight (I highly recommend at least a 20-ounce weight)What could be better:1. The stick I got seems to be very slightly bowed instead of 100% perfectly straight. It hasn't seemed to affect my playing, and I probably am the exception rather than the rule (meaning most of these are probably perfect). I had to take off one star for the product that I received.I like the rubber on the bottom, and I like the grip (nice and tight). 58 inches seems to be perfect for me as well.As a novice pool player, I would definitely buy this product again (in fact, I might very soon). great buy i like the feel great grip to it January 7, 2015 great buy i like the feel great grip to it. Its weight is all back end and havent yet shot with it but expect good results |
Three Star Reviews: | 12% Three Stars July 20, 2017 Mine broke pretty easily. Granted I dropped it a lot, but it cracked and that was all she wrote. The stick is hollow and not very sturdy. April 29, 2016 Dropped it and it broke in half. The stick is hollow and not very sturdy. The cue is the right size for tight corner spots ... March 1, 2016 The cue is the right size for tight corner spots but has no weight to it which makes shots difficult. OK, but Light January 18, 2016 It was very low price, & it's OK, but it is very light, and so a little difficult to shoot with. Work as intended September 23, 2015 Bought a pool table for the game room area. I like things to match. table is black. furniture black and silver. needed black cues (bottom portion of these are black). And they work well enough for an at home game room. not for professional use by any means. Great for tight spaces but too light for my taste April 25, 2015 Does the trick if you need a short cue; however, it feels too light for my taste. I know it is a 36" cue stick, but it feels as if it is made from a very light (not dense) wood with no weight added to increase the mass. But it was very cheap and allows shots in tight spaces. | 4% Good cue. It did warp after some time in ... January 12, 2016 Good cue. It did warp after some time in the case. Not a biggie but I did expect a little more quality/time from it. A nice gift for the owner of a pool table, not too expensive. October 22, 2015 A gift for my dad. Arrived quickly, packaged well. It was a good price and gave a nice appearance. Doesn't come with a case or anything. Went out and got him some tips to add to it. |
Two Star Reviews: | 10% This is a cheaply-made cue that is straight and works ... January 7, 2017 This is a cheaply-made cue that is straight and works . It is so short that it is too light for use as anything but a child's first attempt at pool . I bought it for play in confined quarters but don't use it . ... a break so i would not buy another one like this ever unless it were given to me for ... November 8, 2016 Cue stick broke after just about 12 uses during a break so i would not buy another one like this ever unless it were given to me for free... Shaft was pretty crooked for a new stick November 7, 2016 Tip needed to be reshaped a lot when first used. Resulted in not much of a tip being left.Shaft was pretty crooked for a new stick, but not enough to really care about, I guess you get what you pay for. Not good. May 4, 2016 These pool sticks were purchased because our new pool table is kinda close to a window and that's the side the q-ball stops a lot. I thought they would be good because it's a solid piece of wood- what could go wrong? One of the tips totally fell off, the other is crooked. The only reason I keep them now is in case my nephew comes over. He is young and I wouldn't want him to have a long heavy pool stick to play with. Since he'll miss anyway, a crooked tip won't matter to him.Sorry- I do not recommend this product. You get what you pay for August 26, 2015 I bought this stick because there are two spots around my table that I needed a shorter stick. The price was good and I got free shipping by purchasing a few other necessities. What I don't like is that all the weight is in the bottom half of the stick and that the top half is too fat. It's just a cheap stick. I'll probably buy something better and use this one as a bridge stick. Viper 36" Cue October 10, 2013 I purchased this for my nephew so he would be able to play on my table. The stick is made well enough, but has no weight. If they would add a few more ounces to this stick it would make all the difference. But kids need weight just like adults. This couldn't have weighed maybe 5 - 10 oz. tops. | 4% One of the two cues I purchased quickly warped to ... August 25, 2016 One of the two cues I purchased quickly warped to the point of being unusable for consistent play. The other seems to have held up well. I play daily so there is constant usage. As it's a moderately priced cue and difficult to ship, I did not notify the manufacturer which is probably not treating them fairly. Overall it came down to a question of time. Just the tip, to see how it feels June 15, 2015 Good cue for the money while it was in good condition, however I had it less than a month and used it less than ten times and the tip has come off. Poor quality January 19, 2014 I was not impressed with the quality. The tip was very junky. Returned for a refund. I bought it for a gift and refused to give it |
One Star Reviews: | 15% Warped August 3, 2017 Bought three of these. I wasn't expecting a work of art for the price but I was expecting them to be straight. All three wobbled when rolled on the table. Not worth it Cue stick June 10, 2017 I received my cue stick today is it suppose to look like this or am I missing a piece on the tip? i would look elsewhere if I were you. January 25, 2016 It was great while it lasted. It broke in less then a month. I went to break one time and it did the same thing. It broke about half way down. Dont waste your money. Dimensionally accurate. Unfortunately the description does not include the ... April 11, 2015 Dimensionally accurate. Unfortunately the description does not include the truth. I have never seen a more warped stick in my life. I hoped to be more savvy than this, but even a week later the stick I bought is now half the price, making me wonder did I read these reviews, as I faithfully do every single order? I could pull a branch out of my yard that would be more true a cue than this would ever strive to be.Do not buy this.Maker of this cue; contact me with your attempt to refutiate this embarrassment, and I wont make a youtube video demonstrating exactly how demeaning this cue is to billiards. Why even put a tip on it? Or much less rubber on the butt? | |
