Fits like a glove and covers nicely.
June 29, 2017
The only diaper that fit my baby boy really well. I tried pampers, but just seemed to be too small. I love how stretchy they were and the seemed to be comfy. The only newborn diaper I'll be getting now if I have more children, and/or as a gift at a baby shower.
Good quality, consistent delivery

I have a subscription, they come every month on the same date every month and are the quality I expect from this brand. I can change the size and delivery date anytime before they are shipped easily.
We really like these diapers
June 5, 2017
We really like these diapers! They are what we were given in the hospital. The moisture strip is really helpful and they were snug but not too tight. She was 8lbs 11oz when she was first born so she was a big baby. She did grow out of the newborn size quickly, however (at 9lbs).

Quality of the diapers are great. I always prefer the little snugglers instead the snug and dry. I think the snug and dry puff up too much too soon even with the smallest amount of urine. Package arrived just on time. The packaging was different in a brown box with Huggies logo and such all which didn't matter to me but for those who are wondering of the different packaging. The diapers themselves are sealed in plastic. Overall very pleased and will continue to buy. Wish I could get an even larger amount per box since I have twins and go through diapers very quickly.
these were by far our favorite. They are very absorbent
June 26, 2016
We purchased several different brands of newborn diapers, these were by far our favorite. They are very absorbent, soft with a woven waffle like interior, fit perfectly. Will go straight to these for future newborns & skip the other brands. They are worth the little extra cost.
Huggies Little Snugglers Baby Diapers

I love Huggies diapers! My kids have sensitive skin and I have tried other brands of diapers like Pampers and they made them break out in a rash, Huggies were the only diapers that did not. 5 stars for sure!

Love Luvs!
September 19, 2016
Love Luvs diapers! My son is 3yrs old and was born with a disability that affects is ability to use the bathroom on his own. We have to catheterize him every 4 hours and leave a catheter in over night. Luvs diapers absorb fluids better and holds more than any other brand that we have tried, we have tried A LOT! I don't have to set an alarm to check him to be sure he hasn't leaked thru and he can sleep all night long, up to 12hrs. The sizing is spot on as well, never an issue with sizing.
Does its job. No complaints.
March 8, 2016
I've read a few reviews about people complaining about diapers leaking or ripping and gel getting everywhere. I have used Luv's diapers with both of my children; the oldest is now 14 and my daughter is 17 months. On average, that's over 8000 diapers and not a single one has ripped, burst from the seams, or leaked so badly it soaked my children. I also never had them smell funny or cause rashes. (Of course my children have had rashes, but never caused by the diapers). Keep in mind that my children were born 13 years apart, so Luv's has changed their product between those years, and I still never have had any of the issues that other reviewers have described.I also have no problem with the price or quantity. When my son was in diapers I bought a 25 pk from Family Dollar for $5.00. That's $0.20 per diaper. With my daughter, I was buying them from Wal-Mart or Kroger until I learned of Amazon's subscribe & save. Wal-Mart sells a 96 pack for slightly under $18.00. That's $0.18 per diaper. With subscribe & save, these equal out to $0.17 per diaper, or $0.18 without sub & save. I can't see paying a ton of money for something my kid is just going to pee and poop in and then throw away.$0.17 is not only a great price, but Luv's diapers are also great quality. My little one sleeps 8-10 hours a night, during which she pees in the same diaper all night long. She wakes with a gigantic, swollen diaper, but with dry clothes and bedding. She's also rash free, even after being in a wet diaper all night long. (The only time she ever gets a rash is when she drinks juice or eats fruits; never once has it been diaper related).
Great diaper for a great price!!
October 6, 2015
I have been using Luvs Diapers (alternating with cloth diapers) since my son was born almost two years ago. You cannot beat the price, especially when using subscribe and save through Amazon. I have used other, more expensive brands which are also great, but truly the Luvs diapers work just as well as any other diaper. New babies come with many expenses, so I say save the money where you can and diaper brands is definitely an area where you can save a ton of money! These diapers are very absorbent and easy for my super active son to move around in. He often sleeps in them and they are absorbent enough for an entire 12+ hour night. We are expecting a new baby any day now and I plan to use Luvs for her as well!
Don't make our naive mistakes... switch to LUVS, now!!! This deal is amazing!
June 22, 2015
I wish it hadn't taken me a year to realize that LUVS diapers are by far the best diapers - period. Sigh. When we naively brought our newborn home, we had stacks and stacks of those uber-expensive diapers with the little line that turns blue upon the first drop of wetness. Being the new parents we were, we looked for that little blue line to know when to change a "wet" diaper - and were changing upwards of 30, totally NOT wet, diapers a day!!! As the months went on we finally wizened up on changing frequency and eventually even bought LUVS for "Day Diapers", figuring they'd last us 3 hours max. Kept shelling out big bucks for the top-of-the-line diapers for his "Overnight Diapers", though. Until the night we realized we'd run out of those expensive diapers and were forced to - gasp! - put a LUVS diaper on our son and pray that when we got him in the morning, his clothes and sheets wouldn't be completely soaked. Yeah... how silly were we! That morning, we went to get him only to discover that he was, of course, completely dry! These diapers are EXACTLY THE SAME as the expensive ones we'd been buying all those months!!! And of course they are... come to find out, both brands are made by the same company. Oh man. They played us!Now that our little one is 18 months old, we've finally figured things out enough that I can promise any parent, grandparent, anyone who cares for a baby or toddler, that the following is true: LUVS are exactly the same as those two really expensive brands that you think you need to buy. If you're lucky enough to still be expecting or perhaps have a little newborn, switch over now! Regardless, if you're buying the more expensive ones, stop!!! Get this box and you'll be amazed. So much more affordable, yet they're just like the other fancy brands, and they are far superior to any store brand diaper. Best value for the price on any diaper out there! Switch to LUVS, and spend the extra money you're saving on spoiling your little one in ways they'll actually appreciate (and maybe spoil yourself, too!)
Word of advice from a diaper expert... these are the BEST out there. And amazon has the best price!
May 27, 2015
I consider myself an expert on diapers, so, heed my advice. Luvs are the best you will find! And, the cheapest for the quality. Amazon has a great price on them, even cheaper than Target currently (and I even have a redcard!). They are the softest, most flexible diaper that you will find, even more so than Swaddlers. While the patterns are less than appealing (so tired of that monkey!!)- these are the best, most absorbent, softest diapers ever. Other brands (target specifically- up & up) are plastic-y, hard, "crunchy", and seem uncomfortable because they don't bend with my child when he sits, crawls, stands, etc., and its hard to even feel when they are wet or "full"- since they're so hard. Luvs are the opposite. They also seem to hold for hours and I have yet to have any "up the back" issues like I did with up & up and Pampers.
We always come back to Luvs

Comparison:Store Brands:Our son has excelled at putting all diaper brands through extreme challenges that shame even the best TV-Advert examples. In the first 12 months or so, he tended to have "blow-outs" and the Store Brands were so ineffective and ill-fitting that it defeated the purpose. During the night he would soak through store brand diapers like a cloth bucket. Whatever "savings" we gained by using store brand was quickly offset by the sheer volume we'd use having to constantly change even partially wet diapers.Brand Name:The "Brand" Name diapers introduced another issue; Realistic cost. I remember thinking "Oh look, that's another $0.25" with every change. While clearly a higher quality and better fitting, he was prone to rash. While Brand diapers were much better at wicking away moisture, we were still diligent on keeping him out of "wet" diapers. Match this with his remarkable ability to devastate any diaper with ease, we were changing him 1-3 times nearly every two hours, depending. The cost of diapers was sky rocketing beyond what we had imagined on the high end.Luvs:Perfect blend of the two above. Luvs have been excellent in every regard so far. Currently in size 4, our toddler still tests the endurance and containment quality at every turn. Sleeping overnight these days, on rare occasion he'll soak through a diaper. To remedy this 99% of the time, we'll change him just before my wife and I go to bed, even if it's barely wet. The diapers are large enough to give plenty of cover on the back and sides without being too "bulky". The subscribe and save price with these diapers is amazing. Cheaper than store brand, as effective as "brand" name, It still surprises me how great these diapers are. Worth every penny. Possibly another penny too.Side Note: we've encountered a "poor" diaper every 3 boxes or so. Usually in regards to the fasteners/sticky strap/youknowwhatimean. One or two have been non-existant, a few have ripped off the diaper with very little force. This is very few though, over many sizes and boxes. No big deal.

Best diapers for little ones
September 30, 2017
Best diapers for baby from birth to about 5 or 6 months or before baby starts crawling! They hold through the night pretty well. They're soft and we never experienced any type of irritation or a chemical smell. We did have to switch to Little Movers when my baby start crawling because she was crawling out of her diaper :-(

Work good for us. My daughter is 3 months old and we have can count on one hand the times we have had a blow out. Which makes these worth the price. I haven't experienced anything like some people have.
NEW DESIGN as of 2016
February 22, 2017
Huggies HAS changed the design of their diaper as of the end of 2016! The new diapers no longer have the green design on them, but have more of a plain design with gray/black writing that says "front" and "back" on the respective sides of the diapers. There are some old design boxes still floating around, but every box of the last 4 shipments I have received has been the new design. I feel like the new design of the diaper doesn't work as well, since my baby never had leaks or blowouts in the old design, but she has had many in the new. They are still very soft and feel like they are high quality compared to other cheaper brands.

Yessss!!😊 Huggies are the first box of diapers I stocked up on as I was pregnant. I chose to start stocking up on them because I researched "Mom's favorite diapers" and it came up as number one. Also, it was the brand my Mom used for my brother and I. My husband and I purchased a couple large boxes ( we knew we'd get more at our shower), because we needed enough for our baby girl to be changed 10-12 times a day, which is the norm. When I had her I ended up favoring as for the newborn diapers the Pampers. That's what the hospital provided us and my cousin even got us a big box and I'm grateful she did. The way the newborn pampers fit and held pee, I felt were better for our baby girl. However, now that she 3 months and a size 2, all I like now are Huggies! I used mainly all Huggies size 1 and size 2 now for her of the Huggies, and they're way better fitting and hold pee way better than Pampers or any other brand is what I feel. I'll use Huggies from here on out for her. When we have our second child, I'll do the same routine that worked for us, newborn Pampers then Huggies size 1 up!

Our diapers for years
August 1, 2016
I have been using LUVS diapers for years now.. When I use it the first time about few years ago for my second baby, they were more thicker and softer..and we have no complain at all especially for the price..it did the job well..We've been using again now for our latest baby, and I could say it's way more thinner and feels more plasticky..fortunately they are still doing what it supposed to do, doesn't leak or make a rash on our baby..For the price, it's still a good diaper. I use Luvs after my baby passes his 2 months mark (or reach size 1), and use different brand for the newborn phase since they are more softer.
Great for the price
March 28, 2016
I love those diapers bc for the price they do get the job done! They are cheap and they work ---what more can you ask for of a diaper. I do however DO NOT recommend them for the night as they do leak- protection is not good there at all- hence I took off one star. But quality is ok, they are not as stiff or good as for example pampers- but again as a day diaper they work, and they are not generic- they are pampers just the lower shelf pampers. I keep recommending them to my friends and family bc they really are good FOR THE PRICE.
Love these diapers! But would love the smell to be different
February 23, 2016
I love these diapers! We have always been a Huggies family after we switched from cloth diapers to disposables, but after looking to save some money we tried these. They have a distinct (kind of annoying) baby powder smell which is why I gave them only 4 stars. It's not my favorite smell, but neither is poo so the smell ends up being okay after a #2! The hold an amazing amount and NO leaks! My 11 month old is a very heavy wetter, couldn't find a cloth diaper that worked for him and even sometimes he would leak in Huggies. But not these so far! He sleeps 10-13 hours at night in 1 of these and we have had no issues with leaking, and they fit true to size! Will be buying these again.
The Workhorse of Wetness Protection
October 5, 2015
We use these as our night/long trip diapers. Our child is extremely sensitive to diapers and will rash when left too long in one of these so we use another brand for our everyday diaper. These are the absolute workhorse of long lasting, never explode, can make it through 9 hour nights and hold like 4-5 cups of fluid without leaking. Seriously, a few times our daughter has sat down in her splash pool or ran through sprinklers in one of these when we did not have a swim diaper on and they got huge and heavy but never once exploded. We love these diapers and would use them all the time if we did not have such a sensitivity issue. They have a cute purple cross hatch design and not a strong scent but do not have a wetness sensor.Pros:- long lasting never explodes- perfect all night diaper- nice not heavy scent- soft and comfortableCons:- higher end pricing- no wetness sensor- can cause some rashes on sensitive or allergy prone children
Best bang for the buck
July 25, 2014
They may not absorb 8 gallons of water, but the quality has been fine through sizes 1-5 on two different kids. I'd rather change a diaper more frequently than have some ridiculously expensive diaper, changed less frequently, that claims to be super duper absorbant. In the end, there's pee and poop strapped to your kid, and no matter how much a diaper absorbs, it's a good idea to minimize the time that stuff is touching their skin.If your kids pee a lot at night and soak through the diaper, then buy nighttime diapers for night. If you find that your kids pee finds its way out of the diaper, it might be that you strapped them in incorrectly. Some other diapers may make this easier... but in the end I find reviews that say positive and negative things about all diapers, some people are naturally able to strap their kid in right with one brand, while others with another brand. With some practice you can make any of them work.Disclaimer: If your kid has an allergic reaction to a diaper, obviously don't use it, but it isn't the diaper's fault. That'd be like saying peanut butter is bad because your kid is allergic to it. It is quite common for kids to get skin rashes, it can be from contact dermatitis from a million things, or even from food, it may not even be the diaper causing it. Sometimes hard to tell, but better safe than sorry is a good approach.
Luvs have been a rash saver! (Had?)
November 18, 2013
*11/21 It now looks like in regards to the rash that it might be the toilet seat cover that we have for her. Our son continues to now get very very few rashes ever since we switched to luvs*I will need to revisit this later and my initial review is below.Prior to this change I had loved luvs and would tell anyone I knew to switch. But like many others I am not ecstatic over this switch too less diapers same price. Due to having a superior experience with them for so long with my son I was able to still look past the price because they are still relatively cheap. My daughter has had far better skin then my son and to date had not gotten a single rash. Now at 1 and half she suddenly seems to have this minor rash that isn't bothering her much but seems to go away and then pop back up. It's only been about a week so it could be the cold possibly but I am not sure. After reading other reviews I am inclined to want to point the finger at the diapers but I am not yet doing that. On top of this we have also had some leaking lately which I chalked up to us goofing... Well after other reviews I am again inclined to want to point the finger.I will update this soon after some more time with them and leave my initial review in which I raved about them because I could be wrong.*Initial review*I and my kids truly do love luvs! We had noticed early on that my son got very bad rashes and had always chalked it up to being very sensitive skin alone. So we would go about trying to buy the most expensive brands assuming they must be the best which lead to the mistake of skipping on luvs because they just seemed like too great of a price. It was almost instant though for my son, within days of saying lets just give it a shot they are cheap why not his rashes had finally gone away. It was such a relief to not hear him scream like from a horror movie over simply being changed. On top of the diapers not causing rashes anymore they honestly seemed to hold the best out of all the brands we tried which was another big win for us. With both my son and daughter in diapers the fact these diapers are the cheapest every time and to us seem to be the best quality it has been a great switch that has saved me lots of money over time

Still not working out
March 8, 2015
I've been experimenting with 3 brands of diapers since my son was born. I love huggies because of their bands on the back however they tend to be very loose on the sides which has caused a few leaks and blowouts. Other brands I have no leaks on the sides however a blowout up the back which huggies has saved many times. Talking to many different moms, everyone has a similar experience, no matter what you use or how you put the diaper it causes problems of holding in the poop in different stages of the baby's life. Every baby's thighs are different, so maybe with thinker legs it would work better, but with my son, luvs and pampers fit better with his skinny thighs. I do love the feel of these diapers, I rather use these, but right now my little guy has other plans.
Not impressed.
November 5, 2014
I wanted to like these so much. We used huggies when my daughter was in the nicu and also when she came home from the hospital. We constantly had leaks. Even tried going up a size and would still have leaks all the time, both poop and per. We also tried pampers, but those were even worse. We eventually ended up switching to cloth diapers and haven't looked back since.
Not as good as Pampers
August 16, 2014
I have found with both of my children that Pampers works better than Huggies. I always end up with leg hole leaks and wearing the diaper contents on my body with Huggies but never with Pampers which defeats the purpose of a diaper.

I don't like them mainly due to the scent
June 12, 2016
I ordered these because we were running of diapers and I didn't have time to go to the store and get what we usually use. I had never tried Luvs and hadn't heard anything good or bad about them from any of my friends. I am not to happy with them. I suppose you get what you pay for. The box itself even says that if you see the gel like material on your kids skin that it is safe and just to wipe it way. First of all, I don't care if it's safe, a diaper shouldn't leak its gel like material onto your kid's skin. Secondly, the box states that there are only all natural things used in the diaper, aloe is one ingredient. I'm not saying they're lying or anything but these diapers seem to be so highly perfumed and overly baby powdered smelling. Like regular baby powder has less of a scent than these. I've always used scent free products for my babies, wipes and diapers included. The main reason I don't like the scent is because I wanted the most natural products to use for them but also because if there is a scent to a product I am using for a diaper or a wipe, I don't want to associate that scent with what goes in the diaper because then even a clean diaper smells bad to me! Well, that's what has happened. That in addition to the fact that these diapers do not hold as much liquid as the other brands I have tried makes them no good in my book. I would not recommend these to save a penny per diaper which is what these compare in cost for the ones I regularly use.
These diapers leak like an old faucet
March 1, 2016
I was really torn on how many stars to give this product. First of all if you are looking for a diaper that doesn't leak then do not use this product. These diapers leak like an old faucet. In fact, my daughter is almost 4 and we have tried many other brands of diapers and these are by far the worst as far as leaks go. Now the reason I was torn on my review is in my daughters case we want the diapers to leak. We are trying to potty train and we want her to tell us when she's wet. With these diapers she knows exactly when she is wet. I just wish they would leak a bit less we are going through clothes like crazy. Size wise I think these diapers might be a bit bigger than the average size 4 diaper. That is good because my daughter is almost getting too big for the other brands size 4's but these fit her fine.
Great for 6-24 months.
December 28, 2015
So here's the thing with Luvs... I have three kids, oldest born in 09, so I've been diapering for 6 years straight. We always start with Pampers Swaddlers because they are just so soft and cute and cuddly and smell good and have the wetness indicator and ooohhhh little newborn bebes! Then we get sick of paying for those and switch to Luvs. Which work great until the kids turn 2. Like clockwork, once they turn 2 Luvs can't contain nighttime wetness. It's motivation to potty train, for sure, but in the meantime it's a total pain. We went up a size to see if that would help, nope. We've switched to Pampers Baby Dry which do a slightly better job, but I think for overnights I'm going to have to breakdown and buy Cruisers. So, live and learn and get luvs until your kids are 2 and then switch back to the $$$ ones :)

December 3, 2015
Luvs diapers were recommended to me as being a less expensive but still reliable diaper. I would say that is true, for the most part. When she was about six months old we had to start putting our daughter in more expensive diapers at night to keep her from leaking before morning. It is still much less expensive than using higher quality diapers all the time. I think right now if you are considering diapers you should definitely note the price per diaper, some other name brand diapers are less expensive. At fifteen months our daughter went through about 6 Luvs diapers a day and one of the other kind at night. I think maybe with a more expensive diaper you might not have to change them quite as often and therefore you might be spending the same or less money.
you get what you pay for
May 30, 2015
I was on the fence about giving Luvs 2 stars but I didn't because they are cheap. They are cheap, you get what you pay for. I wanted these to work because they are cheaper and I thought I might just be sucked into new mom syndrome and overpaying for everything. I much prefer pampers swaddlers or cruisers with amazon mom or using coupons in combination with sale at a drug store making it's just as cheap as luvs. I change my son frequently during every 1.5 hrs or every soiling dur8ng the day but at night if he peed twice while sleeping the diaper would explode like the little crystal absorbent particles came out all over the sheet and my son's crotch. Such a hassle and not worth the tiny bit of money saved let alone the thought of something harming my son. On a scale from 1-10 these get a 3, pampers a 10 and costco kirlad brand a 9.
just okay
May 24, 2015
My daughter has to be changed frequently so I switched from pampers thinking I would save. THey Are cheaper but they get really fat with any pee and they leak over night if she poops. Several separated and the stuffing inside came out. I bought 1 case and I won't be buying another. My babysitter was the one who advised me to switch but after all the diapers (about 3) came apart and she apologized and said she'd never seen that before but no longer recommends them. Maybe the quality has changed. Anyway im going to try huggies next...

No Consistency with Huggies
February 5, 2016
What the heck, huggies? I have used huggies before. I had previously just finished a box if size 2little snugglers from Costco and loved them. They flopped open easily, they had generous fringe around the legs, and the straps were large with round ends. The diapers were great so I ordered size 2 little snugglers on amazon. Completely different diaper. These box from Amazon had plasticky feeling diapers that were stiff. The leg fringe has been cut back from about 1/2 inch long to maybe 1/4 inch long. The straps were smaller and the diaper was thinner and smaller overall. The plastic my coating seemed to trap heat and moisture inside, giving the baby rash and leaking. I was not happy at all with these different little snugglers.I bought a smaller pack at the local grocery - size 2 huggies little snugglers. These too were different. 3 different models of "the same" diaper? The cotton you outside was there and the long fringe, but the diaper was stiffer with different tabs. Why is there no consistency for Huggies? It doesn't make me want to buy a brand knowing I'll get a surprise in every box.

I'm a Pampers mom but was curious to try a cheaper option. Against my better judgement, I decided to give Luvs a second try now that my daughter is a toddler and not wetting with the frequency of a newborn. Shame on me. I have friends who have never had problems with Luvs.. for whatever reason, I have had horrible experiences: leaks galore, that absorbent gel stuff bursting out (?), overall cheap quality and feel. I thought maybe changing her more frequently would resolve the issue but it still happened around an hour into a new diaper and a very small amount of pee. The exterior is paper-like and there is a general lack of stretch/flexibility. I can't imagine that is comfortable for an active baby/toddler.You get what you pay for, I guess. I don't doubt the legitimacy of the praise some people give Luvs but I just cannot. At best, these were one step above just letting my daughter run around naked.
Not great at preventing leaks

Every once in awhile, I'll try Luvs out again and every time I do, I regret it. Just the second diaper used out of my 192 ct box and she leaks through overnight. So, I made sure to not use them over night so I use Pampers. But, 10 diapers in she leaks again in the middle of the day, while sitting on my bed. I'd gladly pay an extra 20 if it means I can avoid all the hassle. This happens every time I try out Luvs which is a bummer. It did work the first six months when she was a baby, but hasn't worked out the last year and a half. She's definitely using the right size. I wish it would work out :(
Leaks turn into gel explosions
December 21, 2015
I've had one too many diaper gel explosions to continue ordering this brand. When diapers get too full, leakage is expected and tolerated. But with Luvs, we've had several occasions where the side rips open allowing the diaper gel to spill out everywhere. I've even found my daughter playing with it. Definitely switching brands since the price isn't that much lower than the others anyway.
NOT the same awesome diaper they have been for the past 8 yrs!!
October 1, 2015
We have been using LUVS for over 8 years now with our 4 kids. Sz 1-6. We tried several other well known brands before settling with LUVS and have always recommended them to others. They USED to work great and fit our kids well (we still have 2 kids using them). We didn't ever have blowouts before - even with messy poops. We are VERY disappointed with the changes made to the new LUVS and will no longer be using this brand of diaper. We've been using the new diapers for at least a month now. We now have fairly frequent "blowouts," and the baby has gotten rashes/red spots/scratches on his legs from the purple tabs. (The tabs aren't as stretchy as they used to be - so I think you have to find the "perfect" spot where the diaper will stay on and the tab won't bother the baby's skin... didn't ever have that issue before.) The diapers don't seem as soft and flexible as they used to be - which I would be disappointed about but try to overlook if it weren't for the blowouts and red legs from the tabs - not to mention the HUGE price increase!! We still have some "old" LUVS floating around the house, and whenever I use one of those instead of the new ones I have no problems and feel sad that the quality went from what it was to what it recently changed to. Plus! Why are they around $20 more?!!!!! I canceled my subscriptions to these diapers and will be looking for another option. Sad :( They used to be super great...(And no - I don't believe that this is all because the baby suddenly grew between taking an "old" sz4 off and putting a "new" sz4 on - and that I should have been sizing up to keep the poop in and the baby comfortable... The old 4's still work, the old 5's still work great at night. The new 4's are more UNcomfortable, poop more likely to come out, and they aren't as stretchy and soft.)
You get what you pay for!

I'll admit it, I'm a bit of a diaper snob. We had been using Pampers Sensitive or Huggies Naturals but they were pricy so we tried Luvs. The good news is, we didn't have any leaks. Unfortunately, everything else I have to add is negative. The diapers feel and sound like a cheap cardboard. They are not soft at all. My husband and I have ripped a few of them just putting the diapers on our son because they are so cheaply made, the sides fall right off. They also have a perfume-y scent to them.I really wanted to like these slightly less expensive diapers but in my opinion, they are no good!
I don't "luv" doing laundry more often than necessary...
February 13, 2014
I have been using Luvs for close to 8 months, mostly because of the value, but also because of the absorbency. My son pees a LOT, and sometimes his poo is rather explosive. Because of all the advertisements from Luvs saying that they've got the best leak protection, and can handle heavy "doody" loads, I went for it.When Luke started waking up soaking wet in the middle of the night, I thought it was just time to go up a size in his diapers. But then, whether he was wearing the correct size or the size up, he was having some serious issues with poo creeping slowly up his back while he played. His onesies were being systematically destroyed by poor-quality diapers...and my laundry detergent was disappearing at record speeds. We all know that detergent isn't cheap. Why on earth would I want to continue using diapers that only seem to contribute to my work load and increase my expenses?"Buyer, beware" is all I can say. False claims are splattered all over this box o' trash.I'll be submitting my items for a refund and spending that $30 on Pampers or Huggies.

These diapers leak. Go with Snug and Dry instead.
Leakage problems!
March 8, 2017
First time using huggies for our newborn son. We were using pampers since we got them from the hospital when wife was discharged, and let me tell you this: on pampers, there was never a single leak. Once we ran out of pampers and started using huggies, our boy was leaking on every other diaper. No rash whatsoever because we always wipe him clean and use moisturizer after every diaper change and/or leak. But the frequent leaks is enough to make us boycott this brand and go back to pampers til our boy is big enough to use his reusable diapers.
Half of the diapers damaged/unusable
February 14, 2017
We couldn't use half of the diapers in the box because they had manufacturing issues/were damaged (no tab on one side, tab falling off, not tabs at all, etc). I want my money back!
Horrible rash on newborn

Little snugglers irritate my baby's skin horribly. Also they are a way too plush, so there is no air gap between babys skin and diaper. They are always hugging them snugly. Plus the chemicals/lotion in it won't suit every baby.I prefer huggies snug and dry.
Diapers with Leaks
July 2, 2016
NOT AT ALL as per the expectation. initially i thought i was not tying the diaper properly and hence it's leaking all over the place. but then i did a you tube, still the same thing. After that, i went to the hospital and asked one of the nurses to check if everything i am doing is fine or not, LITERALLY, but the same thing happened. the whole purpose of making a Diaper is to make sure that nothing gets leaked out. but my sons clothes were drenched whenever he used to urinate. the purpose of diaper itself was not being fulfilled.NOT GOOD. i thought this would have been a good Diaper. But, highly dissatisfied.
Returning mine!
December 18, 2015
Just received this yesterday and started using it today as I ran out of Pampers NB diapers. The Huggies NB diapers are considerably smaller in size. In about 3 hours, it was full. So full that we almost had a leakage (poop and pee!) And it was all the way down to his butt! I never had that problem with pampers NB. I am very disappointed because I've been using huggies with my first. The only reason I bought pampers for my newborn because it was a better deal and I thought of giving it a try. I am returning my extra box!

Unfortunately, quality has gone down considerably.
April 11, 2016
We've been buying Luvs for our kids for many years. They were such a good value that we subscribed to receive monthly shipments of them... Until recently. I noticed that the last few packages of them were different. The diaper itself has changed to a much thinner material, and that saggy/floppy bottom that Pampers is making a big deal of in their commercials is actually starting to happen when my toddler wears Luvs. Even the smallest amount of wetness will cause this to happen, and it wasn't this way until recently. We are so disappointed to have to switch to a different brand now.
NOT worth the savings
March 7, 2016
I was so excited to try these again now that my daughter is older. We had originally purchased Huggies Snug and Dry and Cruisers. Huggies did the job and kept her dry and more importantly - NO LEAKS! I had read wonderful reviews about LUVS and they were cheaper so we purchased these for my Mom who keeps her during the week part-time and another box for here at home. What a disappointment!!! On the car ride home from my Mom's she leaked all over her brand new car seat! Then two days later she woke up from a nap (I change her right before naptime) she leaked all over her bed! These LUVS are not worth the extra work of having to do laundry and clean over and over. (Not to mention how difficult cleaning car seats is.) Throwing these out and going back to Huggies.

February 19, 2016
The only thing that i like about Luvs is the customer service that is when you contact them through Facebook, when you call them they offer you a 2.00 coupon. I really like the price that is why i bought them in the first place, what i didn't like was the fact that my son was in then for less them 2 hours during the night before we woke up upset because the diaper leaked, through his clothes and bassinet into the floor I had no clue that was even possible, I called them and tried to explain what had happened and the lady said it must be a defective pack of diapers....we are gonna offer you a coupon, i am pretty sure that the on the box it states money back guarantee, I bought a big back of 148 and 325, and they offered me 50.00 gift card, not my money back but i took it, never again will i buy luvs. Horrible.
Luvs diapers have NO leak guards!
December 7, 2015
These really were a major disappointment! We switched from pampers because the price seemed high. We tried these for four months, they have NO leak guards and often after two hours of wear would have to change my daughters entire outfits. We tried a bigger size and same results. We are now switching back to pampers. We thought we would save money but after you add up the cost to do laundry more often the extra cost is worth it. These diapers are no better than the store brands.***Update***back around December of 2015 I originally wrote my review for these diapers see above. I was then contacted by email by their online customer relations manager stating how sorry they were and implying that I didn't understand the diaper sizes. So I called Luvs and the woman said I did understand diaper sizes thank you and that for my troubles I would receive a $50 Citibank visa gift card! UNFORTUNATELY THAT NEVER HAPPENED, we are in April now! So needless to say the diapers were awful and so was the customer service. The woman on the phone even told me to keep one or two so they could see what the problem was. Well after 5 months give or take those went in the garbage were they belong.
The new designed pack is horrible, cause cuts on baby
September 8, 2015
The sticker part is unbelievably sharp, it made a lot of cuts on my baby's belly (see pic). Although he's a very active boy, but none of previous diaper ever hurt him like this. The old pack of Luvs is fine, even good actually, so I subscribed this. I didn't thought the new one has this much of difference. Besides, the size are different, the new size 4 is definitely smaller than the old one.
What happened to the Luvs I LUVED????
February 16, 2015
What happened to Luvs? Have used these on both of my grand children one boy and one girl for the last three years. Always worked great...but this last batch of size 4 diapers was VERY different. Extremely thin and leak as soon as she pees one time...nothing absorbs into the diaper, it all just comes out the inside of the legs where the "leak guards" are supposed to be.....did you forget the absorbing gel on this last pack of diapers? Definitely NOT THE SAME as the size threes she just used. Those would absord and expand with the pee....these just pour out! Extremely disappointed.
