| | Beautiful! :)March 31, 2017 I love this camera! Is beautiful, easy and comfortable to use, it has MANY shooting options and settings. It takes beautiful pictures. It even has a baby mode with no flash, which is very convenient because I wanted this camera to take nice pictures of my newborn. I like photography, and I think this is a great camera for beginners. I looked for any signs that showed it being used and could find none! Let me tell you this camera is amazing! Especially with the zoom in feature. That is so incredible you have to see it to believe it. And the pictures oh my gosh! They are stunning! I know some other cameras out there has more features but this has all I could ever need! I have nothing but good things to say about this camera and I have been using it a while. I am on a budget and with the price they are offering it at I was so very excited I could finally own a camera like this! My sister has a camera that cost like 3 times more than mine and I swear mine takes better pictures. This camera is top shelf and I am so happy I got it! Wow, the zoom on this fuji is incredible. Ended up taking it to a KISS concert and got outstanding close up pics. Still have to wait for it to focus in clearly. However the directions say there is a way to handle shots manually (faster).You will be impressed by the zoom. Does not come with instructions or lens cap. But instructions are easy to get online for free! Very happy with purchase. Feel like it could have shipped a little faster! Seems like it was about 5-6 days from order to having it in hand. Says factory refurbished on box, but camera looked brand new. EXCELLENT!November 13, 2015 This camera is EXCELLENT for the price. Great pictures, I can't wait to test all the options it has. | | Constantly has the "low-battery" lightSeptember 15, 2016 The camera was amazing quality, looked proffessional, and was easy to vary. It came with an easy to install strap, but does not come,with batteries. It takes AA batteries and I felt like I was changing them every few minutes. I returned the camera because of this issue. I would be spending more money on batteries than I would if I just went out and bought a new camera. The camera would shut off after just a few minutes if being turned on, and was very disappointing. I loved the quality of the pictures, and how many options it gave me, but the battery thing was just something I could not overlook. OK, But better options are out there.May 12, 2016 Older technology, Slow and clunky.It doesn't come with a lens cap. The proper size is 40.5mmThis is the cap I purchased which fits along the inner edge of the lens.(Polaroid Studio Series 40.5mm Snap Mount Lens Cap) Not bad for the price, but don't expect high qualityDecember 15, 2015 I needed to pick up an affordable camera, and the price on this was really nice. It takes some decent pictures, but there are some performance issues. First of all, the camera is slow. If you're trying to take action shots, it's probably not going to go well, even with changing the settings. Secondly, it goes through batteries really quickly. You should invest in some rechargables if you're going to use this often, because you will use them up.Otherwise, this takes nice pictures for a sub-$100 camera. It takes really great photos and it's very easy to use. The downside: I bought this camera in the hopes of using it to make YouTube videos.. but for some reason when I record videos there is a loud clicking sound in the playback. Lame..November 23, 2015 This camera is very nice. However I'm still over viewing the manual on how to get rid of the blur icon. Since well...it's still giving me that even though the camera is on a tripod. Secondly I had not gotten my lenscap for this so I kept it wrapped in the bubble wrapping that came with it. Now suddenly I'm getting a message telling me to remove lenscap or other obstruction from over the lens. Like it seems the camera is truly covered but nothing is covering it? I'm still looking into the matter. But it just sucks that I've only had this camera for like 3-4 days and it's already malfunctioning....should've gotten the warranty or something. Might end up returning this. I'll update if I find a solution.But on the upside here's some photos before this problem. Performance for the price, it's a good deal.November 6, 2015 Pretty good images. Nice zoom. Slow auto-focus but eventually gets it. I can see why people like viewfinders! S8600 doesn't have one but I knew that going in. Lack of elegant way to protect lens when transporting is a drawback. Got a 58mm ring adapter so I could use a standard lens cover but it shadows the edges at wide angle. Ring adapter does allow use of a polarizing filter, which is nice. Price was deciding factor and, all in all, I'm glad I went with it. |

When I took pictures, the picture would look really blurry on the screen. When I uploaded the pictures, some would be perfectly in focus and others would be a blur. It really sucked that I couldn't rely on it to take good pictures because I bought it specifically for my trip to Egypt so I ended up having to use my iphone. I was too worried that my pictures would come out blurry. Should be discontinued...May 12, 2016 Expectations were too high with this one. Although it's aesthetically pleasing, that's where it stops unfortunately. When you turn it on it looks so cheaply made. The picture is grainy and when you take a picture it's extremely blurry. I was really offput at how awful this camera was. I returned within the same hour I received it. Pleased --> UnpleasedMarch 9, 2016 I was very pleased with the camera at first, but today when I installed the program that came with it I became unpleased. The program wouldn't read my camera whether I had it plugged into my computer or if I just had the SD card in my computer. even at low temperatures and great lighting.
