Very soft and well made. Not too heavy, but does delivered just enough warmth. My bed is a queen size, but I have very deep mattress and box spring, so I ordered the king to get some drape and it works perfectly. The picture shows it inside the king duvet cover that I also purchased here on amazon. Also bought the headboard on Amazon as well. Can you tell I lover Amazon? :) Would highly recommend it. It does not have ties in the corners to connect to my duvet, however it fits perfectly in my king duvet. Order a king for sure if you want it to drape longer on a queen.

I use this as our main comforter. I actually purchased it for my guest bedroom initially and it was so amazingly soft I purchased one for my bedroom as well. Love it!!!

A very nice comforter for the money, I'm tired of reading all the useless reviews here, so I decided to write my own.

I was looking for a comforter to replace the one we use during winter as it is too warm in the spring and summer months.

After ordering and unpacking this comforter I was impressed at the initial quality and how soft it was, there was no smell and it looked very nice, The weight at first made me nervous since it does not feel very light, however after sleeping with it, it felt great, breathes very well, and seems to fit the bill for a summer comforter, and I think it will actually be quite good for fall as well.
I tend to get very warm when I sleep so that's just my opinion.

As for the quality I'll say that it's much nicer than I would ever expect at this price. It feels and performs as a much more expensive comforter and the stiching seems very good.
I can't stand people with over expectations on a $30 comforter and then slam it because it doesn't perform like a $200 one.

If your expectations are that high then you should spend the money on a $200 one.

Wonderfully warm, and comfortable. Light, fluffy, and extremely soft.

I love this duvet! I was a little reluctant since I read some really poor reviews, but I am so glad I bought it. I even bought another in a king for my bed.

First of all, the duvet is really soft! It came in a very bright white and very clean. It didn't have a chemical smell or anything, which was part of my worry.

Secondly, it really does look like the photo. It IS fluffy, but not overly so. It isn't super thick or heavy, so it will be good for all year. I was worried I would have to buy a separate one for a few months of the year... but that isn't an issue. I don't know what people expected as far as fluffiness.. it isn't too fluffy or too thin. Mine had a perfect amount of stuffing, and the stuffing was even throughout.

Thirdly, the dimensions are spot on. My duvet cover fits over it very well, with very little room on either side. (My duvet cover is a weird size.) The duvet doesn't slip around or bunch up at all.

Lastly, I haven't had a problem with the inside material getting all funky after washing it. It says it has box-stitching to prevent shifting, and it works well so far.

I really do love this duvet. I couldn't be more happy with the price. I've purchased other, more expensive ones, and this one beats those by a lot. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice duvet. I can't see why people had issues with theirs, unless they received ones that were defective or something.

This is a great bed set. I bought three for my young boys bunk beds. The sheets are microfiber so make sure you wash them accordingly. We've really enjoyed these bed sets.

Great price and very comfortable! The blanket feels like a sleeping back which I can imagine might turn some people off but I found it very comfortable and cooling. I live in California and enjoy using it year round!

Fits an extra-long twin bed perfectly. Hoping that this will last all four years of college. The color is great and matches almost anythings.

I've been using this set (Twin XL version) for more than a year now and just thought I'd leave a review for those still on the verge of clicking that 'Buy Now' button. To you I say: "BUY NOW!" If you're on this page you're probably looking for a cheap but decent-quality set that'll get you comfortable on a new bed (including those in college dorm rooms as in my case), and this set is PERFECT for that. Please note that if you're looking for super high quality linen that'll make you feel like a princess, this might not satisfy you - it spells more VALUE FOR MONEY rather than luxury.

QUICK FACTS:

- FIT: The fitted sheet fits perfectly on my Twin XL college dorm bed. The provided comforter is slightly wider than my needs, but wider is always better than narrower *shrugs*. I use the pillowcases with standard queen sized pillows and they fit well.

- STYLE: The blue color is not too bright and not too faded in my opinion, looks pretty good on the bed. It's not super stylish though - just putting it out there.

- QUALITY: The polyester keeps me warm during cold nights, and doesn't feel extremely hot during warm ones. The fabric has held up extremely well during my one year of usage (I do wash it only once every two months though), and it seems like its can go on for an year more. One more thing to note here is that the fabric is 100% polyester, which is fine for me, but if you're someone who only prefers COTTON, its NOT for you.

- EASE OF USE: Finally, the quality that makes this AmazonBasics set most lucrative for college students is that its completely machine washable: just pop it into the washer/dryer on the delicates / permanent press settings and you're good! Beats expensive brands that require particular settings or dry-cleaning. Plus, the nifty bag that the set comes in proves particularly handy when you need to pack up and change dorms or move out of college housing.

Absolutely love it. Sheets and comforter are soft. Not super thick. Looks very nice. Packaging was excellent. Fitted sheet fits my queen size mattress perfectly. I needed new bedding badly and this totally reinvigorated my bedroom. First night's sleep in them was amazing. Hopefully the chics like it.

This is an awesome fluffy comforter at a great price! The weight designation was a little confusing though. One of the answers to the questions said that this was medium weight, but when it arrived the packaging said it was feather weight. Turns out that it's really warm. It's great for winter in Northern California (35-45 at night); sometimes it's even too warm. It's entirely too warm for my sweetie though. I'm definitely going to need to get something lighter for summer.

This comforter is definitely full of filling and has a hefty weight and good tucked-in feeling when you are using it. I'm going to love this in the winter, but its a little bit too much during hotter weather, I wake up a little sweaty sometimes. Does not have places to tie a duvet cover on the corners, but its not a huge deal, you can just tie the corners, or stitch some loops yourself. I don't really tie my duvet cover so it didn't matter to me, but I know it does to some people. So if you're looking for a heavier comforter that will keep you warm, this is a great buy, but if I lived in a warmer client I would probably give this 2 stars because it would just be way too hot to use.

I love this comforter for the winter. I wanted something warm for the winter, but not too warm (as I tend to get pretty warm at night). This is great. For the people who reviewed that it's light enough to use in the summer, I have no idea what kind of air conditioner they have, but I need one. This would be wayyy to hot to use in the summer. On the mild winter nights, my room is warmer and I have woken up quite toasty. But for the cold winter nights, nothing is better.

I have owned for many months now and the product is holding up great. Don't see any loose threads or tearing seems. Great comforter at a great price.

Its soft and billowy and great for summer weather but not as warm and thick as I'd like for winter. Cleans up nicely though. My children have gotten it dirty several times and it comes clean in washing machine each time!

They feel great. They were a last minute purchase for a last minute approval for the dorms. The blanket dose not breath as much as I would have liked it to but it certainly has kept me warm though the cold winter nights. Its perfect for those who are staying in the dorm or for the guest bed.

Really quite nice for cheap sheets. They are holding together after many washes and constant use.

I bought two of these for my son's new bed. They've been washed umpteen times and have not faded at all.
A couple of things to note: The fabric has a sheen and seems to snag easily. Also, if attracts fuzz when in the dryer...so it's never totally fuzz free.
I can live with these things...but just a heads up!

The bed set is nice and comfortable, but the material feels cheap. I cannot imagine the fabric and fillers lasting for a very long time. Its expected at this price point. I can imagine the bed set being a perfect item for a dorm or a temporary bedding.

I bought this bed set because it was complete, with 2 bed sheets, 1 comfortor, and 2 pillow cases. Usually in department stores, not a lot of complete TWIN XL bed sets are sold like this one. I found the price to be a great save compared to buying everything in this set separately. The color is simple and it fits my taste of a navy metallic blue and metallic gray. Definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for dorm bedding. I thought the comforter wouldn't be warm enough but it keeps me warm with the AC on at 66 degreees and the sheets are soft. I rated this product a 4 however because some of the seams on the blanket seem to falling apart after just one wash, so maybe it won't last as long.

I had really high hopes for this blanket, but it's not holding up. Any kind of hair clings to it, and after washing the hair remains. Also, when washed all of the cotton binds together inside the blanket so it's no longer equally spread throughout. I guess I should have just bought down.

Comfortable but the material melted after the first wash. I did wash it in my smaller top loading washer so maybe if I would have taken it to the cleaner it would have lasted longer

Normal I don't leave reviews but I felt I need to prompt a warning to future buyers by saying I liked the comforter but it was not the size I ordered. I ordered a king size comforter but upon opening I noticed the comforter was smaller than it should be but the package said a king size. When I looked at the label on the comforter itself it said queen size. So just make sure you actually received what you paid for. Other wise I no complaints.

Not a bad but for the money spent but I did expect something a little better... perhaps fluffier. The worst of it was that the item arrived dirty and in an open bag.

It should say in the description that it is very, very light - I mean there are sections of the blanket that have NO down alternative between the two sides. If this picture was realistic, the MSRP value was even close to reasonable, and this was marketed as a spring/summer blanket I would be happy with it but it is VERY misleading. Do not expect what you see in the picture.

If you're looking for a light down alternative duvet insert for the warmer months this is a good option which is why I won't be returning it - it just stinks that I did it by accident.

I was so sad when I finally opened these up. The white stripe is actually grey. So instead of this stark white and Navy you get what looks like a dirty grey stripe. I was not able to return them becasue I had them shipped to my winter home that I didnt arrive to till after the return date. I would have definitely returned them. I gave them three stars becasue they are soft and look to be well made for the price.

I got this set for my teenage son. He loves it. It was just a little miss leading. I purchased this set because it was dark navy blue. And the comforter is. However the sheets and pillow case are light silver/gray. I wanted the sheets dark. Because as I said Teenage son. Lol.

For the price, this is a decent set. You get the comforter which, if you wanted to, could be considered reversible. It has the grey stripes on one side and solid navy blue on the other. Plus two shams, two pillow cases, a flat sheet and a fitted sheet. I looked around at other retailers and couldn't find a set as complete as this one. So, it does the job. However, the sheets are very thin and one of the pillow cases had a busted seam. I can repair it so it wasn't worth bagging back up and trying to ship back. I purchased this set for my 4-year old and he's not yet impressed by high-quality linens. I would consider this a good "starter" bed set for a guest bed or dorm room. Something along those lines.

I like that there's a cheap option available, but I have to say that I've found cheaper and higher quality at bargain outlets (big lots, etc.). The sheets had holes instantly since they're essentially made out of tissue paper. I wouldn't spend the same amount on them. However, if the price dropped I'd consider another set.

Heres the thing, it was a great comforter, but trust the reviews that say it burns on little to no heat... i normally would tumble dry it on no heat and let it air out after, which works fine unless you need it in a hurry. but this time i tried in on the delicate heat setting because my dog had a accident a few hours bed, and to my surprise a hole the size of a donut was burned through it. I have NEVER had this problem before especially on no heat. This is disappointing because I've only had it about a month and something its advertised as being able to do ruined it. Do consider a different brand for a similar price because the material on this is apparently low quality.

This duvet was what I was looking for, it is relatively light weight and comfortable. However, it is missing one of the most important things -it's the wrong size. I ordered a king duvet and it does not fit my king duvet cover correctly. It is about two to three inches too small, which leaves one side saggy, which does not look good. Also, mine was missing the corner tie area, which was weird... it's there on one corner but not on the others. So the saggy corner looks even worse. I was really hoping for a good fit.

I am not sure how this comforter has so many good reviews. I ordered this comforter thinking it would be "like" down. I assumed based on the description that it would feel like and look like a down comforter. This comforter is VERY thin and is filled with polyester stuffing so it felt and looked nothing like a down comforter as I had expected. If you are looking for a thin summer bed "cover" then this may do the trick for you. if you are looking for a fluffy comforter to snuggle up with then this likely will not satisfy your needs.

This "down alternative" duvet is quite a bit smaller than the advertised size which is incredibly frustrating. I have a Hotel Collection duvet cover that I purchased at Macy's which is of the same dimensions as KingLinen advertises, but this duvet is significantly smaller in size. Additionally, it does not have ties at the corners, but there are workarounds for that. Considering the cost was low, it's not worth it to return this item, but don't expect this to fit well on a king mattress and it certainly won't fit at all like the image in the listing -- misleading at best, fraud at worst. It also doesn't have nearly the level of loft as represented, but i purchased this as a spring/summer/fall comforter so it isn't a tremendous problem for me. In hindsight, I should have purchased something else as I specifically made my purchasing decision based on the dimensions advertised which are not accurate at all.

I've had this comforter for several months now----it is on our guest bed. The comforter I received is very fluffy and white. I do agree with some others; it does not breathe. I purchased, it because several family members that visit have allergies, thinking the down alternative would be a better choice. Visitors came----I asked how they slept----"great" was the reply. (perhaps they were being nice) Finally, I slept in the bed one night with my 2 year old grandchild. Oh, my goodness! I thought we both were going to suffocate. I was sweaty all night, and my grandchild refused to have the comforter touch him! In addition, I would move it and see sparkling lights inside----now truly, I've not been hitting the sauce! I assumed it was static, but honestly it was a bit worrisome in the middle of the night!! I have tried running the duvet with dryer sheets on low to assist with this phenomenon----but it still occasionally will "snap crackle pop"! I will be purchasing a new down alternative. This may be a great for some, just not me.

The pictures shown of this product are a bit misleading. The stitching looks like it was done by a drunk child. Won't purchase again.

The set itself is of good quality for the price, however mine came with several holes in the fitted sheet. They look to have been caused by something during the manufacturing process just as many others have described. This really ruined the whole set for me and I have since replaced everything except for the comforter.

The polyester material is not ideal for the comforter; it will be appropriate in summer, but could be insufficiently warm in winter months. Moreover, the sheets seem to be far larger than the size advertised (full/queen), and therefore fit far too loosely.

I ordered navy but was shipped a light blue. My son needed something for his dorm bed, so I didn't have time to exchange. The quality is just "meh".

This product would have had 4 or 5 stars up until yesterday when I took it out of the dryer to find several large holes in the fabric that had melted despite following the instructions and drying it on low heat. I tried to call the manufacturer to refund or replace with a product that didn't melt in the dryer but since the order was fulfilled by Amazon, they directed me to pursue it through them. Unfortunately it's been over 30 days and I'm not able to process a return through Amazon and can't find a phone number to call to speak to customer service. I'm hoping that by posting this review somebody - either Amazon or KingLinen - will do the right thing.

I have always loved the thickness and weight of this duvet insert. Not too hot, not too cold. If I can find one just like it but doesn't melt in the dryer, I'll be happy.

I don't know what this thing is made of but you will sweat your genitals off while you sleep. It's like wrapping yourself in a garbage bag while working out. Used this cheap think for 2 nights, then decided to treat myself to a nice 100% down comforter. You get what you pay for!

This is not at all what I expected. It is VERY thin and not fluffy. It feels as though there isn't much to this duvet. I read all of the reviews before purchasing and am very disappointed with this product.

Horrible. Doesn't breathe at all. Daughter would get super sweaty and broke out in a rash. Stopped using it on her bed and rash immediately disappeared. Tried to return it, but waited too long. Don't waste your money.

This is the worst comforter I have ever had. I can't believe that there are over 500 people who buy less than quality material that will make you sweat as soon as it touches your skin and still give it 5 stars. This product is synthetic and does not breathe at all. I was sweating all night and purchased a different COTTON blanket the next day that was a sweet relief. I got what I paid for a cheap comforter.

The color looked shiney dark royal blue when the product arrived it was dull navy blue with grey stripes. Very disappointed.

I received my package, and upon opening it, I noticed that there was only 1 comforter. No sheets or pillowcase that is listed were with it.

The quality of this set is terrible. The sheets are paper thin and feel terrible on your skin. I bought this to use as a bed-in-a-bag set for an air mattress for guests. I will not use it for anything. Already washed it and not sure I can return otherwise I would do so immediately. Don't waste your money. Put a few more dollars towards a quality set.

Color just drained out in spots on first cold wash.

I've had this set for two weeks and I thought it was great until today. Using the recommended wash settings, the comforter completely tore apart along the seams in the washing machine. I would absolutely not purchase this set again; spend a little more and get a set that won't shred the first time you wash it.
