Love the Greenland Home Antique Queen...Absolutely gorgeous. There are squares machine sewn together on the front side of the bedspread. The back side is a solid piece of printed fabric. The bedspread is machine quilted. The queen fits my queen bed with a 3" memory foam topper on it. One customer review says it shrinks about 4" in the width; I would imagine it would shrink a little in the length, but not as much if a recall my days of sewing. I did not want to go up to a king size because the overhang at the corners would be dragging on the floor significantly. As it is the corners of the queen size do drag a little on the corners. Yes, it can be placed horizontally or vertically. I placed it so I can pull it up to cover the base pillows and put the pillows with the shams on top. I am prepared for shrinkage that may require a bedsskirt. We'll see when I wash it.

Love this bedspread! I wanted a bedspread that would hit the floor on my king-size bed. I didn't want to have to use a bed skirt. This is a beautiful bedspread. Lightweight and machine washable. I wanted a cotton spread so that it wouldn't slip off the bed easily like "slick" material does. I would highly recommend this. It's just what I was looking for

We love this quilt set, we each have enough cover on our own side. I've searched a long time for one that truly is big enough on the sides, even with a 75 lb. Doberman in the middle on top of the quilt! (she has her own covers). The ones I've bought in the past were always too short so I always had to buy a twin size so I could add on to the one we used on the bed....... I Love it So Much, I recently found out that several years ago I bought the same set for our daughter.... 2 years ago I bought the same set again for our daughter in law.... They both brought it to my attention that I now have the same quilt set!!!!!! no doubt about it, I'd buy the same one again if needed....lololololol

After years of using comforter sets with the big, puffy coverings, the 20 pillows, and the skirt which ripped if you looked at, I finally decided to return to the simplicity of a bedspread. It seems that bedspreads don't come in a huge selection anymore these days. I've always thought that a quilted look was more feminine and I'm a single man with a custom-made slightly patina-ed rust look iron frame bed with burgundy leather head and footboard. I went back and forth on this spread for some time before going for it - and I have to day I'm quite pleased with how it all looks together. The colors in the spread go perfectly with all the colors in my room - the carpet, paint, wall prints and artwork and it seems quite well put together. One side note - this spread doesn't come in a California King, as my bed is but I was able to turn it sideways, so the "top and bottom" are actually the sides - my bed sits high and the ends hit the floor perfectly. As for the "side" that the quilt should be, those make the head and foot, also working perfectly, as the foot of my bed is blocked by the footboard and the rails prevent it from going to the floor - it's not something anyone can see. Works great for me. One last note - I would have much rather have had the "real" quilt that is an extra accessory for this set but the dimensions are VERY MUCH smaller - doubt it would fit a queen sized bed.

Love this spread. Advertised as Queen and it's probably a King but worked wonderfully for my bed. All in all great deal.

Beautiful, well made, and warm! We were so tired of those little quilts that barely fit on a bed. But this one is long enough that we're not fighting over covers at night! Very well made. Stitches are holding up securely to kids and small dog. Colors are beautiful, vibrant and just perfect with my decor. I would definitely purchase again!

This is a great comforter for the price. It was pretty stiff at first but after a few washes and some use, it's softened up a bit and so far the patter/stitching has held up. It's thin, so if you live somewhere cold, this really couldn't be used as your only blanket, but I live in the south so it works perfectly for me. I got the teal color and it's not exactly as pictured, a little more blue but it's a beautiful color and matched perfectly with my bedroom set. I love how big it is, the oversized king fits perfect, hangs over the bed but doesn't hit the floor. I don't expect this to last forever and will definitely get another if it wears out

Bought this for our bed after searching for something that my husband and I would both like. The quilt itself is lightweight and is made with a super soft fabric that gives extra warmth when you need it. Size wise, they weren't lying when they said oversized! We have a Cal King and it's huge - which isn't a terrible thing. I can leave it floor length or I can fold over the top about 12 inches to give it that 'staged' look - but who has time for that! Lol! I'd buy this again for sure!

I bought the king-sized bedspread and sham set. The color, a kind of sea foam, is absolutely beautiful and true to the picture: calming and serene. The bedspread is a great quality and the largest king-sized bedspread I have ever owned. It will completely cover your mattress and box spring, and tuck around your pillows easily with plenty of fabric at the end of the bed, too. It has a lovely quilted subtle flower pattern. I am extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it.

Was driving myself crazy with trying to find a "sage" bedspread that would match the "Husk Gold" painted walls in our master bedroom. All of the bedspreads, coverlets, comforters I could find all wound up being too "blue green" and inevitably clashed with the existing color palette in that room. I finally decided to take a chance and order this bedspread, going for a blue and hoping for the best. Couldn't be happier. 1) color is such that it goes wonderfully with the "golden" tone of the room but 2) could easily work in a room with a more blue or green tone. Don't know why or how...but it does! 2) This spread is lightweight and perfect for the Florida weather. 3) I have washed it once (had that "new" funny smell to it) and it came out beautifully. 4) The shams are for king-size pillows, which is what I needed. And finally, 5) is a true "oversized" bedspread, easily covering the extra layers of pillow-toppers that we have and still reaching adequately on the sides and ends.

love this bedspread! Fabric feels soft and wonderful and makes our bed look beautiful. Color is soft and looks just like the picture. They really mean oversize, so if you have a huge mattress it will cover perfectly. Really glad I got it. Thanks for a good product for a great price!

Love this bedspread/coverlet. I'm tired of the bulky,quilted style spreads. Wanted something thin, easier to wash and store. Also, I don't need a bedskirt, it's big enough to cover the bed, the quilted ones were always short on the sides. So, I am happy with this purchase, and love the colors, Salmon & Blue.

This is a great fit for my king bed - not quite to the floor - but allows the side rail to show (which I prefer). Also a great price with the 2 king shams included. I removed a star because the backside is a mustard color over a rose design that is pretty awful. I was expecting a yuck color from reading the other reviews. Guess seeing is believing.

Love this quilt all except for the reverse side which is a funny yellow gold floral, ( bleh ).

This is the second one we've purchased so duh!!! we like it its a nice quilt for the money and suits us just fine here in Arizona,,,BUT if you live where its cold buy extra blankets because its a little thin......also wash in cold it does fade some what...... its well sized but we bought the king size to fit our queen bed...like I said its fine for the money spent...Our first one is 3 1?2 years old and is showing wear ,I'll use that in the camper ,of course but I'll bring blankets.... where's it made where else China........so your on your own........remember buyer beware......

I searched for months for a quilt that would completely cover my king sized bed. I don't have a bedskirt and regular king quilts don't cover both sides of the mattress. This one does, and very amply! I bought two so I would have one while the other was in the wash. Yes it does fade over time, but I like the antique quilt look. Yes, it did come apart in some places. BUT I wash one every week as I have dogs in the bed with us. I just stitched up the places it came unsewn. With the patchwork design you don't see the stitching...which just adds character. I looked so long for this oversized king quilt that I am happy to do it. I have a closet full of quilts that just don't cover like I wanted and this one does everything I wanted.

This went wonderfully in our bed room. I have a pillow top mattress, and it is always so hard to find something that will fit right! Well, this fit the bill! It drapes over the sides so nice that I didn't even really need a bed skirt. I love the colors, Antique Chic definitely is the right title . The reason why I did give it a 4 star was that after owning this quilt for 3 weeks, there is already a patch that became separated, the original was stitched to close to the seam. A little hand stitching fixed the problem, but kind-of a let down. I do have 2 kids that love to lay in our room and watch movies, and they can be pretty rough, but after just 3 weeks???? Over all if I knew that would have happened in advance, I still would have purchased this item. Like I said; the color is beautiful, hangs nice on a pillow top, and is pleasantly warm.

Bought a king size to go on a queen bed in order to cover mattress and bed frame. Turned out to be slightly too big for the queen bed, but still doesn't touch the floor all around it. A queen bedspread would be too small

I like this although it is a little thinner than I expected. However, It looks nice and comes a bit bigger than I expected, but that's much better than too small. I would buy again since it's totally fine for the purpose.

Received this bedspread after waiting for a couple of weeks. It was exactly what I wanted. The width was perfect, the color was perfect, but it had two holes in it. The plastic package it came in also had a hole. The box it was shipped in was not damaged, so these holes were in the bedspread when it was shipped. I am sending it back for a replacement, and hope that the new one will be okay. Other reviews said that the bedspread had a bad smell, but the one I received had no odor at all. If it wasn't for the holes, I would have been extremely happy with the purchase.

With several washings it becomes quite soft. The "stitching" pattern is not actual topstitching - the fabric has been heat embossed so the back & front pieces fuse together to create the pattern. We've been using it for 6 months and the pieces have stayed together nicely, though I imagine that over time the pieces could separate, leaving gaps in the pattern.

I enjoy having this bedspread. It looks good on the bed and is a very pretty sleep inducing blue. It's not quite as warm as them stitchedquilted coverlet that I replaced this with, but it should be warm enough when I put a medium warmth down comforter back on the bed forthe winter. A possible advantage of this lighter bedspread may be that I won't wake up in the night a few times too warm because ofsleeping on my otherwise perfect temperpedic mattress that does heat up a bit. We'll see.

I like this coverlet very much. When I received it I thought I saw a couple of small, faint stains on it and wondered if it had been a return. However, for better or worse, I decided to wash it and was satisfied with the result. It a curious thing, the stiching that isn't really stitching but an imprint in the fabric that looks like stiching, looks like a trupunto design. The only problem is that some of the stiching looks a little darker than the rest which creates , I think, the illusion of a stain. Probably nobody would notice this but it still bugs me a little. If you are super picky this may not be the one for you. Or maybe mine is not representative of this product. All this aside, I'm keeping it and I like the color and weight of it. My favorite thing about it is its oversize. It covers the sheets easily so they don't hang below the coverlet.

So far so good. The colors as presented in the picture are not a vibrant as shown. Seems to be well made, though.

Love the pattern, but it is way to big for our California King mattress. Should have measured it before ordering.

I love Greenland Home products for their quality. Heavy material, good finishing. But be warned, this particular pattern is very busy and very bold. It reverses to a hideous gold and red pattern. Unless you are doing a very big room with a very small bed, this can be overpowering. The Prairie pattern with muted colors is a better choice.

I first purchased Greenland's Blooming Prairie bedspread last summer and it covered my king size bed, to the floor, perfectly! This spread is at least 5" too short on either side. I have tried spinning the spread different ways and it doesn't matter. Why is this spread's width less than my other? Was I sent a comforter instead? Otherwise, I love these all cotton spreads, they are well made and comfortable.

I bought this queen size bedspread for my mother. She has an extra thick mattress so we thought this would be fine. I would recommend measuring the area you want to cover with the bedspread before you order. I am going to have to take this to an alterations expert to take one row of quilt patches from the side & make a round edge for the bottom end corners because they hang way over on the floor & are a tripping accident waiting to happen. The fabric is beautiful and the quilting is excellent quality. My mother loved the look on the bed & didn't want to send it back.

I looked for a king size bedspread for a year.Pictures of the spread made me think the colors were bright but, when I put it on my bed I was so disappointed. It looked like it was faded. It took me two days before, I decided not to send it back. I just didn't want the hassel. The size is perfect. The weight is good. I will never order another Bedspread on the internet.

Although I like the color, and the size of the "quilt", it really is more of a thick sheet. The fabric is a little...crepey?, and doesn't breathe at all. It looks nice, but my husband is picky about texture and softness and this didn't make the cut. I am keeping it as an extra to have around the house since it wasn't expensive, but have already bought a new set to replace it.

I love that it is oversized. The teal color is actually a medium/light blue. It's is very thin and will work if you're looking for a cover only, or live someplace warm. I haven't washed it to know how it will hold up. It's not what I'm looking for, but it's a good price for a throw cover.

This set is good sized, I was just hoping for a little more "weight" for it being a top quilt. It is very light. Some people may like that. I ended up having to put another blanket it under it and the sheet to make it the right weight for me. The color was correct and it is definitely oversized. Fits my padded king bed with the problem and goes to the floor.l

It has taken me awhile to get used to the color. I wanted a light blue but it seems darker than the picture. The material is thin but we use it with a thermal blanket and are warm enough so far. I have only washed it once and it held up very well. The Oversized is still not long enough on the sides for my bed. I have a California King, two twins together (adjustable Tempurpedic). I wish it would reach all the way to the floor.

You get what you pay for. This bedspread is very light-weight, not the heavy cotton quilt I had hoped for. The box was so light I thought it was the pillow shams only. Instead it was the entire set. The color is brighter than in the picture. I was wanting something a little smokier blue. That being said, the quilt is big and covers my very-thick pillow top mattress, it makes up nice, and looks fine. Our bedroom gets a lot of direct sun and our quilts tend to sun-fade. This item fit my budget, and works just fine. Do wish the color was a little more muted.

After 3 washes the "stitching" started to separate. Next time I will get one with real stitching.

Was not what I expected from photo .. it was of good quality and would probably be better for another customer.

did not receive a bedspread,but a quilt .It's ok,but not through to size. I needed a king size and this quilt is a little small. very disapointed!

The bedspread did arrive ontime. However, the quality of the fabric was poor. Very thin, and would not stand-up to the wear and tear a bedspread normally receives. The colors were as depicted in the photo.I returned the spread.

The bedspread was good quality but looked faded compared to what it looked like on the website.Too dull - So I had to return it.

Material isn't as nice as I would like and the color isn't what it seams in the picture.

The embossed pattern is slowly coming undone. It's not a bad blanket but I haven't even washed it and the design is coming out of the fabric.

Within 6 months the edging of this coverlet pulled away. Wish it had lasted longer as I love the color and weight of the fabric.

I read the reviews, but still ordered thinking some people having different size King bed this could work. It does not on my king which is a normal king not cal king. It is way short on the sides/both sides and very long from where the pillows lay and the bottom of the bed. I have almost 7-10 inches hanging on the bottom of my bed. I have had to actually tuck a large portion of this coverlet under my pillows to correct the length. This was not the look I wanted.

Not as pretty as the picture but it looks okay, until you wash it on gentle cycle as instructed. The seams started to come apart in several areas and now I have a lot of sewing to look forward to.

I bought this with confidence due to the high reviews, but when I got it I was rather disappointed in the fabric quality. The color was ok but the fabric was shiny like a cheap hotel bed cover. So I returned it, I would rather use what I already have.

This spread looked nice and bright in the picture but when it arrived it was much duller!!!! Three months in with minimal use it is coming apart at the seams!!!!!! Buying anything from china is a waste of money!!!!!!!

Advertised as a 3-piece queen bedspread when it was actually a queen quilt so I had to return. The colors and quality were great but I needed and expected a bedspread that would go to the floor. Very disappointed and had to absorb shipping and apparently a restocking fee which the vendor said he would not charge.

Ordered a queen size and it is extremely BIG. Tried it on three different queen size beds and couldn't use it on any. Afraid to order a replacement.

Was very excited to get this, looked as expected, though just like all the reviews said, it's VERY thin. Like no batting, just 3 sheets sewn together. Which is fine for a summer weight blanket in Texas. I'm giving it 1 star due to the fact that once I inserted a pillow the seams just unraveled on the sham. There's also weird brown smudges on the blanket. You truly do get what you pay for, though thus would be overpriced at $30.

This was the wrong color

El Cheapo! No stitching it's fake stitching for the pattern and super cheap on the edges. I do not recommend this. Should have gone up bed bath and beyond. They have real stitching and for the same price

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The size is great, but the quality is terrible. The material feels like sandpaper and the weight of the fabric is cheap. Also, the color on the package and online appear darker than it really is. I do not recommend this to anyone.

So disappointing that this is heading back to the seller. Not microfiber, super thin, not stitched at all just some sort of heat bonding made to look like embroidery. Not worth your money.

The color is not the same as seen in the picture and the fabric is terrible quality. It feels like one of those plastic table cloths. I will be returning this for sure. Do not recommend!
