Don't waste your money on any other umbrella stroller

Don't waste your money on any other umbrella stroller. This is the best one! Taller, better wheel control, comfort, everything-- is better
Perfect for airline travel and gate check
May 11, 2016
On our trip to Florida with our 15 month old twins we needed something to use in the airport and to gate check between flights. These worked AWESOME, light weight, easy to open and close and were literally a great help for us...
Super easy to use and durable
July 29, 2015
This stroller was purchased for my niece. So far we have been using for almost everything except trips to the mall. We have a larger stroller than we can fit bags into at the bottom however this one can only fit a small bag in it's basket. The orange color we got is beautiful and can work for either a boy or girl (not that it matters). It's pretty lightweight and super easy to fold and open up. I definitely recommend this stroller if you're going to the park , a walk, or somewhere you won't need to carry many things.
Great addition: Love the Shoulder Strap for traveling
October 18, 2013
I got this for my sister as an extra stroller to have around and it has became her go to stroller! Great quality, very light and easy to bring anywhere we go! the additional bag for travel and shoulder strap really adds to the benefit of having this stroller around.would recommend it.
Great product!!!
October 7, 2013
We purchased this stroller as we were very frustrated with the poor quality of other types of umbrella style strollers. It is the perfect stroller for travelling especially air travel. This stroller is wonderful!!! It is very easy to fold, lightweight and has a carry strap for easy transport. Shade is removeable. 2 position recline is sufficient-it does not fully recline. 5 point harness is perfect. My only issues would be a small basket size (although not unexpected given the type of stroller)-I can still fit a small diaper bag in the basket and when folded, the wheels touch the stroller canopy which gets the canopy dirty when then wheels are wet or dirty. Great product and value!
Tough, Comfortable and Affordable
July 30, 2011
I gave it a 5 star rating because of the toughness and comfort of this stroller. I would have given it 4.5 stars (if I could) only because of the lack of cargo space. The netting below the seat is a nice feature, it just doesn't fit that much. However, we put a small backpack over the handles against the manufactures recommendations (we must be terrible parents) and made due. Anyway, we bought this to take on a 14+ day multi-destination trip and wanted a stroller that would pack easy yet be comfortable for our 2yr-old. It lived up to expectations. I drove this stroller off the curb (fully loaded with backpack and child) every time we left our hotel in the first week (many times a day) and this thing is still working great. For an umbrella stroller, it seemed to be comfortable as our daughter slept in it many times for full naps while we were out on excursions (the reclining is a nice feature). The stuff sack and carrying strap are handy; the strap can be used on the stroller itself and the bag.

Great Lightweight travel stroller!
September 11, 2017
We just got back from our trip to Italy with our 8 month old and I had to leave a review for this stroller. I'm so happy we purchased it for our trip. It was lightweight, easy to collapse and it worked great on the cobble streets of Italy. The recline feature worked great for when she fell asleep during our long walks. The space underneath is minimal, but was enough to carry her bottles, extra diapers and wipes. The sun visor doesn't extend far enough to block out the sun completely, so you definitely have to walk the opposite way of the sun, until it goes down. I also liked that we were able to attach her car seat inside of the stroller with a strap device I bought on Amazon as well. Overall, we are super happy with our purchase and recommend to anyone travelling and in need of a lightweight stroller.
Convenience of an umbrella stroller, with some of the features of a full size!
July 18, 2017
My son is 30lbs and broke my loved umbrella stroller. I love the convenience and lightweight design of an umbrella stroller, but needed something with more heavy duty capability and this did the trick. It's quite a bit bigger (about 6" length and width when folded) than my umbrella stroller, but about the same weight. It has a small cupholder (which I have not used, but nice to know it's available) that snaps on the size to fit a small cup or water bottle. This falls off when I fold it, so I just leave it off. The best thing about it is that it has a small basket underneath, which fits my small diaper bag or snacks for the trip. I'm very pleased with the decision to purchase this stroller!
Fantastic stroller- highly recommend!
October 24, 2016
I struggled with a super cheap umbrella stroller for years and am KICKING myself that I didn't just spend a little extra to get a nicer model like this sooner! I am tall (5'9") and I can use this stroller with no issues having to hunch over or kicking the tires as I walk. It folds and unfolds very easily, and is super compact to fit it in your trunk with loads of room to spare for other kids stuff! The quality is great- we've had ours for almost a year now with lots of use and have noticed no visible wear. And the storage basket underneath holds a lot of stuff as well. Would highly recommend this product- buy it first rather than trying to cheap out on an inexpensive model that will only frustrate you! :)
Took this stroller to Lake Como, Italy
August 25, 2016
After LOTS of research, I purchased this stroller a few months ago to be able to transport my one year old daughter around on vacation to Lake Como, Italy. The streets and terrain in Lake Como are far from ideal for a stroller, but this held up amazingly well over cobblestone streets, up and down stone stairs, through grass and dirt roads. I could not be happier with its performance. This is also incredibly comfortable for such a lightweight and compact stroller. The seat is nicely padded and FULLY RECLINES. This is such a unique feature for a stroller like this. We could put the seat completely back so that my daughter could nap easily on the go. The wheels were also very sturdy and smooth. The handles are nicely cushioned and ergonomically placed at a good height for me and my husband (I'm 5'7 and he is 6'0). The metallic part of the sun visor seems a bit unnecessary but the visor itself provides optimal shade and protection from the sun. The basket underneath could easily hold my large tote purse as well as a large large water bottle and a few other misc items. Additionally, it is incredibly easy to open and fold closed. We carried this stroller with us through the airport and all over the place during our travels and often had it folded up in transport. The attached carry strap was super convenient and the stroller felt very lightweight over a shoulder. I almost hate to admit that I might like this convenient stroller better than my $500 jogging stroller...I would recommend this product to anyone!
I really like this umbrella stroller
August 10, 2016
I really like this umbrella stroller. A little bigger than the typical umbrella stroller but the extra features make up for it. We have another "higher quality" quick fold stroller that we completely got rid of after buying this. It closes up tight, has a larger shade than most umbrella strollers, and my favorite feature is that it can recline to multiple levels, which our previous did not do (it only laid flat and straight up). The basket underneath holds more than expected. Overall would definitely recommend for a compact stroller on the go.

This stroller is super light and handy to have for everyday use. I am glad I bought it. The only constructive criticism I have is the storage underneath doesn't fit much of anything and wished that it is built a little deeper to allow more storage room.

She called me once she arrived saying it was easy to use
June 26, 2014
My wife had me order this for a long trip she had to do with our 1 year old. She called me once she arrived saying it was easy to use, lightweight and comfortable for our sun. I would recommend this for travelers.
Study, lightweight, easy to open/close. Good for an umbrella stroller.
September 5, 2013
My friend really liked this. If she were taller, she might not bc she would kick her foot into it. And there isn't really any useful cargo space below. But, she bought it despite those things and still likes it. Sturdy. Super lightweight. Easy to open/close. One issue she's uncovered is that it is difficult to push with one hand. That would be a problem with any umbrella stroller, however, because the handle bars are not connected.
Very good for travel
November 24, 2012
I have used this when traveling alone with my baby/toddler on long overseas flights and I must say this served the purpose very well. It is extremely light and sturdy and easy to clean. People often ask me where I got it so I suppose that's a compliment! The storage area underneath is sufficient to stuff in a jacket, sippy cup or a small snack. We have a bigger more expensive stroller for use at home but this stroller is light enough and comfortable so we use it on local trips to the mall as well. Note, my child is of small build, a heavier child may not be comfortable enough, the straps are not that lengthy. If you are the type that always has to strap the child in, even for short walks, don't get this - the buckle and strap could be a hassle for frequent use. But for travel purposes and for a petite person who doesn't want to deal with the bulk, this is a very good fit.
Great Travel Stroller
February 19, 2012
We purchased this stroller before moving overseas and it is a great little travel stroller. I carry both the stroller and my 1-year-old up and down 4 flights of stairs everyday and it is light and folds up easy. It maneuvers the uneven sidewalks well & is easy enough to pick up if there are stairs. In the states I always use a big jogging stroller - but for travel, this has been a great option. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the basket underneath could be bigger and the handles could be adjustable. They work fine for me at 5'6", but I could see that being a concern for a taller person.

Great lightweight stroller!
March 1, 2017
We bought this specifically for airport use, so that we wouldn't have to take our normal stroller through security. It worked perfectly, and was a great lightweight stroller. Honestly, because it's so lightweight, we end up using this stroller quite a bit. It's a really well-made stroller. My ONLY complaint is that I find the lever that actuates the folding mechanism to be a bit cumbersome to operate. That's why I only rated 4 stars. But for the money, you won't find a better folding stroller.
Good Stroller
November 6, 2016
Definitely lightweight and easy to travel with, as advertised. Not so easy to collapse one-handed but opens up from folded position easily. First used this with a tall 10 month old and she wasn't very comfortable. The angle of the back and slope of the seat caused her to slide down and forwards, with the harness digging into her legs/hips. This occurred with the seat back in the most upright position. For the price, this was disappointing. However, at about 15 months old (and still a very tall child) she was sitting far more comfortably. In terms of handling/driving it has gone well over different types of terrain. The sunshade is decent and there is sizable under-seat storage, plus a super handy pocket on the seat back. The stroller arrived minus the cupholder but we were very impressed with the prompt and efficient customer service we received with the replacement order.
Sturdy and convenient.
June 23, 2016
There are no photos of this stroller in its collapsed form so I thought I would add mine to show what this looks like next to a conventional 20 dollar Cosco umbrella stroller. This one is considerably bigger and weighs 12 lbs while a cheap umbrella will weigh around 7-8 lbs. It's still much lighter than the heavy duty graco jogger strollers which are around 20 lbs or heavier.

I recommend this one over the cheap umbrella strollers for the following reasons:

1. Sturdiness: my Cosco stroller was flimsy and lasted me less than a month of ocassional use. The fabric began tearing from the sides and one of the legs of the strollers actually became bent upon hitting something. This stroller seems far sturdier in both its frame as well as seat fabric.

2. While the cheap umbrella strollers only offer a certain degree of comfort to your baby, the seat on this one reclines to a sleeping position and seems comfier for longer trips.

3. This one has a small storage bin under it, a cup holder, and a little flap behind the canopy where you can store things like your phone or keys which the small cheap ones don't. The sun visor is also considerably bigger than what you'd get in the smaller ones.

4. The cheap strollers don't roll very well since the wheels on them are pretty tiny, and the handles are rather low making them hard for taller parents to maneuver. I am 5'3" and had trouble with the height of the Cosco. The handlebars on this one are well-suited for taller parents.

5. This one has a very handy mechanism for collapsing and unfolding. It's very doable with one hand and auto locks. The cheap ones don't usually auto lock and my Cosco actually required a bit more physical effort to collapse.

One caveat and the reason I took off one star is that the stroller is still quite low to the ground and my 30" tall 15 month old's feet are already touching the footrest, so I can see a child who is much taller (maybe 2 years old) having some issues with their knees being bent. Because of this I don't know how long it will last for us.
Easy to travel with
May 13, 2016
Pros: Easy to travel with, it's lightweight, durable, easy to clean ... you can close/open the stroller quickly. We're really glad we made this purchase because sometimes it's just more convenient than bringing our big stroller.

Compared to other strollers in this same category, we ultimately went with this one based on reviews and the fact that the back is adjustable (so baby can recline as needed). I like that the bottom has a large enough net for storage (especially compared to other small strollers). The back of the stroller also has a pocket which I like (big enough to actually hold useful things).

Cons: The sun shade doesn't really offer much coverage (but it's still longer than other umbrella strollers), the cupholder is kind of flimsy (to fix that problem, I added a stroller organizer to the handle bars).

I would say it's a pretty sturdy stroller. Would recommend this purchase.
Great for the price
September 25, 2015
I wanted a stroller that reclined enough for my 3 month old but didn't require him to be in his car seat. This stroller reclines more than enough - I don't even use the flattest setting - and it allows the baby to face forward during the walk, so they can look at everything you pass and not get bored. It was super easy to assemble, is very lightweight, and looks great.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the following:

1. You have to remove the sun visor to fold up the stroller. This is easy but inconvenient.

2. The front wheel suspension is great, but the back wheels are rigid, so the ride can still be a bit bumpy.

3. I wish the sun visor had a peekaboo window so you could see the baby from above while walking.

Crotch clip is way too short.. This stroller is overall comparable to $30 you would find in target. Waste of money in my opinion.
Okay stroller
July 4, 2016
It was an awesome stroller while it lasted . I believe the frame broke but maybe that's because I'm always walking , so maybe this isn't a stroller you'd walk to the park with kids everyday . But I did get good use out of it.
Proportions are off
April 15, 2016
Quality is good but the handles are low and I feel like my feet constantly hit the stroller when walking. I'm only 5ft tall and have trouble pushing it comfortable and my husband refuses to use it. Something is off with the proportions.
Great for air travel
August 22, 2014
It's super light, which works well for travel/in airports. I'm 5'7 and my feet do kick the wheels sometimes, and my husband (5'10) feels like he hunches over a bit while pushing it. However, if you're using it for air travel once in awhile - I would definitely recommend it. If you travel a lot (and you're 5'7 or taller!), you may want to invest in one of the higher end umbrella strollers.
A pain to close!
November 23, 2012
While this stroller is lightweight and looks very nice, it has two major drawbacks. (1) It does not recline, if the baby falls asleep there's no comfortable position in which to place her. (2) The metal part one must hit with the foot to open the stroller is extremely hard; if one is wearing open toe or soft shoes there's no possible way to comfortably and painlessly move the metal part. Having a stroller that's extremely hard to open negates the convenience of this stroller. (3) Since it has 2 handlebars which are not joined together, one cannot hang a hook or anything similar to hold a handbag, a diaper bag, etc.. One must open up the bag and spread out the handles of the bag over the 2 handlebars which, in turn, exposes the contents of the bag....leaving the contents open to tempt thieves.
OK umbrella stroller
October 20, 2012
I got this stroller b/c my friend raved about how wonderful it was. I already own a Maclaren XLR and wanted to downsize to a sturdy smaller stroller b/c the Maclaren is too heavy. After I bought the stroller online and pushed my baby around in it, I realized I didn't like it (Babies R Us didn't have one to test out) b/c my feet kept kicking the back wheels every time I took a step (and I'm only 5 ft!). And it was totally front heavy. It was much more difficult to maneuver than my $20 Babies R US stroller (which I LOVED, but it got worn out after a year...hence the search for a better quality umbrella stroller). I wished I had sucked it up and bought a Maclaren Triumph.Update-I ended up buying a used Maclaren Triumph (I HIGHly recommend this!) and keeping the Chicco umbrella stroller. One for the car and one for at home. The only things I liked about the Chicco are the color (beautiful blue!),the sturdiness, canopy, bag, and price.

Easy moving stroller
September 8, 2017
Easy moving stroller. The adjustable seat is a great option. It is heavier and bigger than I expected.
However, I cannot get the flimsy cup holder to attach and stay in place. I am also very concerned when collapsing the stroller to fold it up. The framework does not feel very substantial. It takes some force to get it pulled up and I am afraid one of these times I'm going to end up bending the frame.
For the price, I am ok with it! Glad I bought it anyhow.
It's just "Okay"
May 19, 2017
Not as compact as we had hoped and the sun shade is worthless. Unless the sun is directly above and slightly behind the stroller, it will not cover them. Not adjustable to move forward to block the sun in different directions. Slightly annoying to fold up. Seems like a smooth ride though and is constructed pretty well. It'll do what we need it to before going in the garage sale or Goodwill.
Scope for improvement.
January 15, 2017
I will be returning this item. It's a great product for its price. I mean some features such as the mechanical recline and back to seated position is superior to most others. Many expensive ones too don't carry this great feature. However, for me a peekaboo window on the hood is important. And it is mainly and only for that reason I am returning this stroller. Also dsnt have any pockets in the format for the baby to hold Some snacks or cookies
Overall this is a decent stroller
June 27, 2016
It's a good stroller for the price in terms of it being convenient, lightweight, and easy to use. However, the stroller I was sent is missing the attachable cup holder which is very annoying because I already opened and assembled it before realizing this. This stroller is easy to put together and easy to store as well. The handles are a good height so you don't have to slouch down to push it if you are tall (I'm only 5'7" but my husband is 5'10" and has no problems pushing it). The little storage area at the bottom is good for a small purse or snacks, but not much else and the little pouch attached to the canopy is a good make shift phone Holder or sippy cup holder. Overall, good product. Gives you more than just a typical umbrella stroller and very easy to use.
Just okay. Doesn't feel very stable. Cup holder comes off easily.
April 16, 2016
So far this lightweight stroller has worked out okay for us. My 1 year old seems comfortable in it. I'm not totally in love with it, but it serves its purpose--lightweight & convenient. The cup holder doesn't seem very sturdy and comes off very easily. I wouldn't trust using this for any drinks. Also, the handles shake a lot and the back feels unsteady or like it needs an extra bar for reinforcement. Also, I don't like that I cannot see my child at all when the sunshade is opened. For the price it's ok.

Spring for the Chicco Liteway stroller instead!
April 6, 2016
If you're considering this stroller, spend the extra money and get the Chicco Liteway Stroller instead. I wanted a light-weight yet durable stroller that collapsed easily and laid back all the way for napping on the fly. This stroller has a cheaply made visor that doesn't stay secured and doesn't open and close well. The reclining feature requires you to kneel down and unzip each side. The small basket underneath is blocked by the crossbars and seat, making it almost unusable. It's just not designed well. The next model up (the Liteway) has solved all the problems mentioned above and is well worth the extra money. (this stroller is for use with our granddaughter so not a main stroller, although it definitely could be!)

August 26, 2014
Cheap and uncomfortable. My son hated it. He would cry every time we put him in it...he is 18 pounds, seven months old. It was very uncomfortable to push. My husband is 5'9 and I am 5'2. The sun shade is too short. The front wheel broke after one month of use. We trashed it and got a different brand.
Broke after 3 days at Disney
June 12, 2014
The stroller aluminum snapped at the seat after only 3 days of heavy usage at Disney. The front wheels also go into lock mode frequent enough to make you frustrated trying to rush from place to place. The sun cover also never really feels like it is in the right position, especially if you plan on putting anything on the stroller handles. It is light weight and easy to fold up and down, and the color is pretty spectacular. But as far as taking it on a fast paced travel, I wouldn't describe this as a heavy duty umbrella stroller.
Poor design for walking
October 24, 2012
feet hit wheels when you walk. handles are far away from body, causing you to hunch over. it is very lightweight, and easy to fold. took on a trip through airports and train stations and it was very easy to travel with... BUT, the way its designed makes it impossible to walk with. we are trying to return it.

This was a great stroller for as long as it lasted
July 11, 2017
This was a great stroller for as long as it lasted. Unfortunately, that wasn't very long. I bought it at the end of May for a trip I was taking at the end of June. I had taken it out for one stroll around my neighborhood before the trip. We gate checked the stroller, and when I took it out of the bag at our destination, one of the handles had snapped completely in two. I loved it initially. It's lightweight, but has great features: plenty of room underneath for storage, great recline for a tired baby, good stability over bumpy roads, but I can't say good things about the durability. Summer infant was no help either. I called them for the break to either be covered under warranty or to get a new stroller handle, and all they could offer me was a 10% discount, which was $20 more than the Amazon price.
Squeaky wheels
January 18, 2017
We bought this stroller about 10 months ago. While it was reasonably convienient to fold/unfold and we like the recline, it has developed such bad wheel squeaking that we can no longer use it. 3-in-1 oil does not seem to help, and wiggling the wheels does not improve it. It squeals over both smooth and rough surfaces, enough that it causes passersby to look. It seemed like a great product but I cannot recommend it.
More like inconvenience stroller
December 6, 2016
I am on my third baby, and this was about my fourth stroller. I ordered this one to go with my Baby Jogger/ Car Seat combo and thought it would work well for shopping trips and walks. Let's just say I have hated it from the start. It honestly isn't that much lighter than the Jogger or Chicco I once owned and for me at least, it was hard to put together. Its not at all sturdy, seems cheaply made and the absolute worst part is that when the seat is reclined (I have a 3 month old and he can't sit yet) you cannot access the basket at all. Like no getting in. You have to wake a sleeping baby to get to it. The cup holder swivels 360 degrees and my bottles get dumped out after a few yards of normal pavement. Little surprise they have a "no hot drinks" sign on it, its useless. The visor might as well not be there it lets all the sun in, and its hard to fold. When it is folded, it doesn't seem secure, if you are flying with this thing it could easily open with rough handling. Its only saving grace is it looks quite good when open. That is all. Save your money and get a proper stroller, the only reason I am not binning this one is because it could be a back up one day.

August 24, 2016
We really enjoyed this product for the first year or so that we've had it, but now one of the locking joints on the front of the stroller will not stay locked and allows one side of the stroller to constantly try to fold down. This makes the seat lose tension and the stroller tries to wrap around my child. Also, because the joint will not lock the stroller is very hard to maneuver now. The pressure needed to turn the stroller ends up just folding the joint, making it very hard to turn. If not for this issue I would have given the product 4 or 5 starts. We did enjoy the product until it started to have these issues.
Be aware, not for tall slim kids.
April 12, 2016
Love Amazon prime, it was delivered on time and great packaging but this stroller which is the "best seller" its really for infants. It is small for a 33 pounds kid, how it is supposed to hold 50 pounds in a 30 inch kid?!. his head hangs off when its reclined and legs real close to the floor. My son is 40 inch long. Tried an Urbini Reversi for the same price and even when its slightly heavier (1-2 pounds if so) feels sturdier and is perfect for my 4 y/o airport cruising safely.

Hate it!!!! Should have bought a $20 one
March 31, 2016
So I settled for this thinking I couldn't go wrong with the Chicco brand but this is poorly madeThe goodIt's a light weight stroller, that's itThe badTo close the stroller you have to push the lock button in the back with your feet. This hardly ever works especially if you are wearing sandals or flip flops, you will end up hurting yourself. You have to push the button so hard m, I mean if you can't kick it very very hard it will not unlock. Even my husband had a hard time with this. This is horribly inconvenient especially if its raining. Many instances mine will not unlock so I have had to put the entire thing unfolded in my trunk. The harness is wierd. It straps baby in an awkward position. The middle strap should have been foward a littleThe canopy is useless. Hardly stays put and doesn't protect baby from anythingThe storage is useless. This Chicco Lightweight stroller I have just purchased is awful. The lap belt is way too short and tight even for a 20 pound baby. The lap belt is unusable, and therefore, not safe. I do not know how this company can advertise that it fits up to an almost 40 pound child. It won't even clip around my 20 pound granddaughter! I emailed the company and got no satisfaction! If I hadn't thrown away the packing box I would have returned it.I previously owned the same stroller. It passed the test of time, airplane travel, shopping, and neighborhood walks. This newer version does not.

Everything in this stroller is perfect except for the most basic function... it doesn't roll well. You have to push hard and it's a nightmare in slippery floors.
Lasted less than two months

Wheel bent and broke off after less than 2 months! Never had that issue in years of having strollers. Will request a refund!

It didn't meet my expectations because it is supposed to be very versatile. It is a pain to fold in and out and it squeaks the whole time you are pushing it...even after you spray WD-40 on the wheels. For what you pay for it it is not worth the money. The one thing I do like is the height other than that it is just like those $20 umbrella strollers you can get at Target...save your money.
Very poor quality canopy
August 2, 2015
Bought this on a Wednesday, returned it Sunday. In those few days the canopy had already warped, perhaps due to heat? The canopy was hardly worth while anyway since it didn't come out far enough to block my 9 month olds eyes and face :-(. Either way, it had to be very cheaply made which sucks for me since I loved everything else about it. Tempted to buy it again but I'd kick myself if the same thing happened.
